- Adrian D’Agostino: A little misunderstood a little. We're all the same a little. Someone just bought everybody. Alrighty, it shows your tips. Daggy back with a barrier trial ahead of the Spring Carnival. I thought ⁓ I've been working out through some of the Flemington form and thought I may as well jump on and see if we can share a few winners for tomorrow afternoon. Hope everyone's staying well. It's good to be back. ⁓ hope everyone's been backing lots of winners and I'm bearing the good news today that we will be back full-time for the Spring Carnival, hopefully in a fortnight's time. Which I believe is the ⁓ rosebud meeting from Rose Hill. But for now, let's ⁓ get stuck into Flemington, where the rail moves into the 10-meter position. They've managed to dodge a train, so we're getting a good track for the first time in a while. ⁓ weather nippy, but but looks pretty fair. ⁓ so all systems go as we head towards another spring carnival for Ori Stakes Day. The first is a 2520-meter benchmark 84, with ⁓ a few of these coming through the Dean Leicester race. ⁓ three weeks back leading into this. Our chief on the quick backup, the other primary hope. I've settled on the lightly raced Nierko Froud. Blake Shin jumps on board here. He's returning as well, which is great to see off his injury. Should be able to lead or take up a position near enough to the front. Has had a couple of 2400 meter setups for this, and I'm just looking for a bit of lightly race. Fresh blood jumped out to me. Does have to come from the wet back to the dry, but is on top. ⁓ from our chief, seven day backup which I like of an absolute perfect run last time out. ⁓ no issues there. I was lucky enough to get a decent price in the run, ⁓ which always helps last time. Main danger, not telling you a lot that the market isn't. Stop the rock first time up to 2400 meters next best. Does have to get that distance, but raced last time out like it was looking for it. Do you think the extra distance will help? Might want a one more run for it's ready to go and win again, but ⁓ we'll be there or thereabouts in the first, not the most riveting ⁓ way to start the afternoon, I'll be honest. The second is a thousand metre three odd race. Interesting race, which I've ended up, I guess, marking as a watch and learn affair here. Did go looking for Yuricanto at the top here after a gelding and with a couple of gear to changes. ⁓ bit of a write-off. prep for last time out in autumn. But I have settled on where have I gone here? The Waterhouse Train Hearts are fair on top of a Kambergranes Range. I thought that was fairly strong. ⁓ we'll take a position as they always do. And around the eight or nine dollar mark. Looks a fair bet to me. ⁓ superbeck, the other I made next best. I think it'll lead and I think they'll stay like a few expectations for it after the disappointing Debut, but the trolls all around it that it's shown a plenty of pace, and I think we'll run well enough here. Covert action next best with a perfect run. ⁓ for me eight, ten, and four in the second. Race three, two thousand metre benchmark one hundred. We've got the ⁓ stayers going in once again in a pretty dismal affair. We know what we get from smoking Romans. ⁓ what I'm gonna say here. Look, I've got I've got to see the storm on top. Finally, third up, un never missed a place over the 2,000 metres. Dry track, I think, will help and has been working through a couple of Walmart runs. Ready to go now. I'm gonna put it on top from Glory Days, who rode a hot pace there first time back to Melbourne in a while. I think this dry track and some control is gonna set up nicely for it. Worth a saver, and and we know you get from Smoke and Roams, it'll run well enough next next best there. Five and two, pretomitly though for me in the third. The fourth. is and a big field at benchmark seventy for fourteen hundred and ten meters. And ⁓ I've got Dark Bene first up here on top. ⁓ dropping back from a benchmark hundred last time we saw it at the races. That was behind St George who we saw win a couple of weeks back. I think the dry ground suit, I think the trolls have been lovely. ⁓ chiming in in the last one and running away well. And the big dropping grade here. It'll be looking for further eventually, but I think this is a very winnable race and I like the wide gate at this stage. ⁓ Mark Zara also warming up for a spring carnival ahead on top for me from Karhoff, who has to g another one has to go from wet back to dry. Main Danger, a bit of a claim helps there. Fear no revel will be better for that first operator dry track will also assist it. But four keen to play there. ⁓ can see it just swooping in and picking up the pieces for us in the fourth. The fifth ⁓ is a four-year nut mare's race. What have I done here? Number two, Stealth of Knight for giving the first up run a little, covered a lot of ground ⁓ behind Mark Dell. Was still brave enough through the line. I don't think this is that scary a race. ⁓ we'll pose up, we'll get a from gate four we'll get a much better run and should be in the finish. Silent shares going really well. The wet suited it its last few Chased Zuchazu a couple back and then one very softly at the midweeks. Back to Saturday. Gate 14 could be the place to be by this stage. So it's the main danger. ⁓ Lovely cut. I like at the price to make it my best value later on. Not on top, but I do think the $13 presents a bit of value. Most recently trialed quite well alongside Arkansas Kid. The six kicks off the quaddy. ⁓ benchmark eighty four, sixteen hundred and twenty metres. ⁓ where we get a feel for the Karhoff form in that previous race. But ⁓ Flemington, Try Ground, Blake Shin, ⁓ all systems going out for touchdown, Wide Gate just pulls out. I think can get the job done here and wrap this field up. This is a nice horse. I think we'll be in the finish of some nice races as we get towards the early stages of ⁓ of the good stuff coming up in the next few weeks. I won't bore you with much more in this race. ⁓ on top for me, number ten, touchdown. Feature is the group three Auri Star handicap. Traditionally we see ⁓ some nice horses kick off here. We do see one kick off here at the top. War Machine, after a couple of rough preps, has trialed well. And I think if we see the best of it here, gets the job done. Gate one tends to be a concern up the straight butt with the rail out ten. Hopefully no I assume I'll just move to the middle and the best of it will win this. ⁓ on top from Nandole, a stablemate who's flying. Has trialled well and is next best. Race eight is a 410 meter benchmark 100. And we see another nice horse return here in Sassa Pill. Trials have been very good, not tested at all. Good punch through sit, ⁓ or can lead or sit leaders back here. I think Rise of Dawn also goes forward. ⁓ does feel a bit skinny. Did finish as a group two winner, but that was in Philly's grade. All sets up pretty well, though, to resume here. Gonna have it on top. Do I want to take a dollar ninety? Dunno, because Curve Vellonde at the top is flying. I feel like I'd rather back her each way at the ⁓ $10 mark and make her the main danger. ⁓ but Sassapiel officially on top. Not much more to add. They were the two that jumped out to me. Dutch is who are running the usual on its race when we get to the quaddy. Rise at dawn going well as well. And we wrap up the last 110 metre benchmark, 78 and a a race that I really didn't like at all because I don't want to take the ⁓ shorts around just like Gabby. And didn't really know where else to go. I've ended up selling with ⁓ I'm gonna have the bracket here with along the river up the top, number one, and number ten, el Piber de Oro. Just small each way bets around now, see if we get something at the end of the day. But I'm hoping with those ⁓ favorites through the middle of the card will be in front by now. And we can just play for a little bit of theirs to wrap up Flemington Quaddy first leg. Number six. Where are we? Number six, Madero. Number nine Kaleo, number ten touchdown. But if you want to go touchdown one out, go for your life. They'll jack up the price. ⁓ not sure it's not gonna be value in this quarty, but anyway. Second leg, one ⁓ war machine, two Arkansas Kid Five and Dollar. Hayes Keys Hayes Boys have the key there. Race eight, one curve a lant, two rise at dawn, seven Dutchess Zoo, ten Sass Appeal. And we'll come home with one along the river, five Rhapsody Sheik looking for some value, nine Percy Empre. 10 El Pibe de Oro and 11 just like Gabby. 100 bucks gets you just over 70%. But if you go one out earlier, that'll obviously come right in. My best on the card. Race six, number 10, touchdown value, race five, number three. Lovely cut. A couple from Doomin. Haven't had a chance to get to Sydney form just yet. Race five, number 11, Stormland. Hopefully back to the winner's store. And I think the pennies drop for daggers, race seven. Number one that can get the job done again. Now getting deep ish into a prep, but ⁓ going really well. That was a whirlwind. I've got to remember what I'm doing here, but that ⁓ has been show us your tips. As I said, excited to be back, excited to ⁓ do it again with the beaver in a couple of weeks. We will return. I'll see what I can put out next week, but ⁓ we'll be busy on a big boat on the sea somewhere. Might be to at least drop a few best bets. But good to see everyone. Leave your thoughts below on your best and ⁓ value of the weekend. And hopefully we will do this again very soon. Take care, guys.
