- 0:00Speaker 1: Here we are, guys, our last break of the day,
- 0:03Speaker 1: and it's been a great day. This has been a
- 0:06Speaker 1: fun day crazy. Thank you guys for listening. We appreciate
- 0:15Speaker 1: your business for sure. Steve Hey, here's my closing remarks today.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I want to remind everybody of something that's really important.
- 0:25Speaker 1: You have got to take a chance. Period. You have
- 0:33Speaker 1: got to take risk. You have got to put it
- 0:40Speaker 1: on the line. You have got to step out on faith.
- 0:49Speaker 1: You cannot stand there and play it safe your entire life.
- 0:57Speaker 1: You cannot win playing safe. You have got to step
- 1:01Speaker 1: up to the plate and run the risk of striking out.
- 1:05Speaker 1: You've got to line up on your mark and run
- 1:08Speaker 1: the risk of getting beat. You have got to take
- 1:13Speaker 1: a chance. Life has value when it has chances in it.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I know some people who have played it safe their
- 1:22Speaker 1: entire life. I went to school with them. I know
- 1:25Speaker 1: some people right now, man, who stayed on the job
- 1:29Speaker 1: that they did not enjoy, to retire from it and
- 1:33Speaker 1: now to be seeking part time work because they can't
- 1:37Speaker 1: make it on one third of what they were already
- 1:41Speaker 1: struggling on, because that's their retirement pension. All because and
- 1:46Speaker 1: he told me, hey, man, I just took the safe route.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I wanted to be safe. Oh man, I cannot tell you, man,
- 1:57Speaker 1: the value in taking a chance. Now, here's what most
- 2:00Speaker 1: people don't take chances. It is the fear of failure
- 2:04Speaker 1: that freezes people to take chances. Well, here's a problem
- 2:08Speaker 1: with that. Fear is the number one cause of failure,
- 2:12Speaker 1: because if you don't attempt it, it cannot happen. And
- 2:15Speaker 1: in the failed attempt, in the never attempting, you have
- 2:20Speaker 1: conceded yourself to defeat. You gotta take chances. Man, It's okay.
- 2:27Speaker 1: And don't worry about what the haters saying. Then they
- 2:29Speaker 1: says they always got something to say. Anyway, Well you
- 2:35Speaker 1: started that business. How I see that didn't work out
- 2:38Speaker 1: for you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you did. You started a business.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It didn't work out. It failed. But now guess what
- 2:44Speaker 1: you know something? You know something that they don't know.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You know two things. You learned the valuable lesson of
- 2:50Speaker 1: how to make a business more successful because you failed
- 2:53Speaker 1: at one. And secondly, you know what it feels like
- 2:56Speaker 1: to valiantly try. Average person don't even know that. You know.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I paraphrase this saying for a long time now, but
- 3:06Speaker 1: it's and I paraphrase it this way because it helps me.
- 3:09Speaker 1: When I say it this way, the credit belongs to
- 3:12Speaker 1: the man who is actually in the arena, whose face
- 3:15Speaker 1: is marred with dust, blood, sweat, and tears, not to
- 3:19Speaker 1: those cold, intimid souls in the stands who know neither
- 3:23Speaker 1: victory nor defeat. And it's kind of what I heard
- 3:26Speaker 1: Denzel online the other day talking about people. It's too
- 3:28Speaker 1: much talking nowadays. People just talking. People got opinions. Those
- 3:34Speaker 1: who do do, those who can't don't. It's just people
- 3:39Speaker 1: just talking. Man, but have never made an attempt. I
- 3:43Speaker 1: would rather have attempted to be great than to set
- 3:47Speaker 1: there and settle for mediocricy. I promise you I will.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I will take the attempt to be great every single time.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Because here's the deal. If you aim for the moon
- 3:57Speaker 1: and you miss, you can still be a more stars.
- 4:01Speaker 1: But if you never shoot the shot, guess what that
- 4:06Speaker 1: bullet remains in your gun. You've hit nothing. How many
- 4:11Speaker 1: people do you know who are miserable right now in
- 4:14Speaker 1: their life, who have a go to a job that
- 4:17Speaker 1: they don't care for. And I'm not saying you have
- 4:20Speaker 1: to start a business to be successful, That's not what
- 4:22Speaker 1: I'm saying, but you should be doing what you were
- 4:25Speaker 1: born to do. You should make an attempt at living
- 4:29Speaker 1: in your gift before you leave this world. You have
- 4:33Speaker 1: got to try. Listen. I know that all you can
- 4:37Speaker 1: do for tomorrow is plan, hope, and aspire. But you
- 4:41Speaker 1: know what the goal is to see tomorrow. So when
- 4:45Speaker 1: tomorrow gets here, what have you done to aspire to
- 4:50Speaker 1: accomplish to make your tomorrow better? Give us this day?
- 4:56Speaker 1: This is the Lord's prayer. Now give us this day
- 4:59Speaker 1: our daily brain. Do you know what that means? You're
- 5:02Speaker 1: asking God to help you all to your steps and
- 5:05Speaker 1: do the things necessary today to make your day go well.
- 5:10Speaker 1: But understand something, Everything you do today will have an
- 5:14Speaker 1: effect on your tomorrow. If you do nothing today, what
- 5:19Speaker 1: do you think tomorrow has for you? You know, it's
- 5:22Speaker 1: so many ways people take these sayings and they use
- 5:25Speaker 1: it to their advantage to justify some mediocracy. The Bible
- 5:30Speaker 1: says faith without works is dead. You know what that means.
- 5:34Speaker 1: That means you can have all the faith in the world.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I believe God can do this. I believe one day
- 5:41Speaker 1: I'll have this. I expire to become that. But if
- 5:45Speaker 1: you don't put no work behind it today, yo, tomorrow
- 5:49Speaker 1: ain't gonna have what you've been hoping for. You can
- 5:52Speaker 1: put all the faith in it you want to. If
- 5:53Speaker 1: you ain't gonna apply, no work man what you want,
- 5:56Speaker 1: but imply work. You gotta take a chance. You gotta
- 5:59Speaker 1: take risks. You have got to take risks, y'all. Life
- 6:03Speaker 1: is valuable with risk. There's learning, there's an experience gained
- 6:07Speaker 1: in risk, but then there's also the possibility that you
- 6:12Speaker 1: will win, and that is worth the risk. All right,
- 6:16Speaker 1: those are my closing remarks today. I hope you got
- 6:19Speaker 1: something from it. I hope I touched somebody. If I
- 6:22Speaker 1: didn't tune in tomorrow, God Willie might have something for
- 6:25Speaker 1: you then. But here's the big thing. Please talk to
- 6:29Speaker 1: God today. He would absolutely love to pure from me.
