- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. It's Lala Kent. Welcome to Untraditionally, Lala. Hello gorgeous.
- 0:07Speaker 1: It is Lala can Welcome to the bonus episode of
- 0:09Speaker 1: Untraditionally Lala. I am still here with Emma Hernon. Hello Gorgeous.
- 0:14Speaker 1: So we have a fan question. They want to know
- 0:17Speaker 1: the backstory of the ring that was shown on the show.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Oh, oh my god, it was beautiful. It was like, ugh,
- 0:24Speaker 2: it was yellow as a Canari ring. Oh and it
- 0:27Speaker 2: was gorgeous and.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Yeah, they brought it out and I was like, oh wow,
- 0:31Speaker 1: this is stunning. Yeah, it was two million dollars. How
- 0:33Speaker 1: big was it? Do you know? I think it was
- 0:39Speaker 1: ten carrots? Ten care? I think it was ten ten
- 0:42Speaker 1: something like that. Was it so heavy or were you
- 0:44Speaker 1: like this? It wasn't that. It actually wasn't that heavy.
- 0:46Speaker 1: It was an airy Yeah, it wasn't. It wasn't It
- 0:49Speaker 1: wasn't that heavy. But it was stunning. It was massive
- 0:51Speaker 1: and it was stunning. Yeah, it was two million dollars.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I can't believe. Can I tell you? That is like
- 0:56Speaker 1: my dream to try on a two million dollar ring.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Go into Jason's of Beverly. I also put it on you.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Oh I can't wait.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, he totally. He could bring me stuff out.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I was like, oh my god, these are all stunning.
- 1:05Speaker 1: But yeah, that was a what's your like dream? If
- 1:08Speaker 1: you could pick out, like what your engagement ring would
- 1:11Speaker 1: look like? Oh for sure Oval.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I don't know, I've always loved Oval. I think it
- 1:15Speaker 2: like looks good. I have long fingers. I don't know,
- 1:17Speaker 2: I think it looks you do as long as mine. Yeah,
- 1:20Speaker 2: so I think Oval for sure Oval.
- 1:23Speaker 1: And then do you have like a max carrot or
- 1:25Speaker 1: you like just give me the biggest ring. I mean
- 1:27Speaker 1: definitely not a Max carrot. I have maybe a min Carrot's.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I mean I would say probably like men, I don't know,
- 1:37Speaker 2: like five to eight really, so.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I actually do. But I could buy my own ring,
- 1:43Speaker 1: so like I'm fine, Like it's like the sentiment behind it, yeah,
- 1:46Speaker 1: like okay, that's fine.
- 1:47Speaker 2: You need I'll like send a wire to your bank account,
- 1:50Speaker 2: but like I want a nice ring.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I fucking love you're you're a badass. I do have
- 1:55Speaker 1: a max on carrot, okay, because I find that when
- 1:59Speaker 1: you reach a certain carot, anything beyond that it can
- 2:02Speaker 1: look very fake.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Yeah that is true. So I'm I'm a max eight.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Oh okay, but that's a great number. Yeah, gorgeous.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Great. Yeah. How much of the show is real? The friendships, fights,
- 2:13Speaker 1: real estate.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I mean, I would say so it's real, like in
- 2:18Speaker 2: the sense where like I mean, the fights, the arguments
- 2:21Speaker 2: like those are all real. But like, would we all
- 2:23Speaker 2: be seated together at a dinner like that? Probably not
- 2:27Speaker 2: right because like typically if you're fighting.
- 2:28Speaker 1: With someone, you're not going to go around them, like
- 2:31Speaker 1: there's no need to have like ooh, Like, would I've
- 2:33Speaker 1: really talked to Nicole about what she did to me? Now?
- 2:36Speaker 1: You avoid her at all costs? Are you kidding me?
- 2:38Speaker 2: Like, I think you're evil. I think you're a loser.
- 2:40Speaker 2: I think that you had nothing better to talk about
- 2:42Speaker 2: than me. So no, I would never sit down with you.
- 2:45Speaker 2: But did I do it for the show? Sure, I'll
- 2:47Speaker 2: sit down and be like, you were completely wrong and
- 2:50Speaker 2: what you did. Now she can't apologize to save her
- 2:52Speaker 2: life with anything, so it was pointless. But I did
- 2:55Speaker 2: it for the show.
- 2:57Speaker 1: What I mean?
- 2:57Speaker 2: So, like, I really do think she's an awful person.
- 3:01Speaker 2: I really do think it was completely messed up what
- 3:03Speaker 2: she did. So I sat down with her and told her.
- 3:05Speaker 2: But if it wasn't for the show, I would have
- 3:06Speaker 2: never sat down with her. I totally better things to do.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I would much rather be with my family in Boston
- 3:11Speaker 1: or on a vacation or on a beach somewhere. No,
- 3:13Speaker 1: I don't want to sit down with you. Yeah. Well again,
- 3:16Speaker 1: And we talked about this on the regular episode where
- 3:18Speaker 1: it's like this is ultimately yes, it's real life, but
- 3:21Speaker 1: ultimately it's entertainment for people, and there's a story that
- 3:24Speaker 1: has to be followed, which is why it's a produced show. Yeah.
- 3:28Speaker 1: So I agree with you because so many people ask me, like,
- 3:30Speaker 1: what's real, and I'm like, yeah, it is real. If
- 3:33Speaker 1: I were in this situation, this is how I would
- 3:35Speaker 1: react without a camera, though, I would avoid this person
- 3:38Speaker 1: at all. Comes exactly exactly.
- 3:40Speaker 2: That is the thing, Like that is the point, Like
- 3:42Speaker 2: even not just like with my stuff, but like okay,
- 3:44Speaker 2: say Chelsea and Brie or Chelsea and Mary, everyone that's
- 3:48Speaker 2: fighting or whatever it is. No, they're not going to
- 3:51Speaker 2: sit down in a normal setting, they're not going to
- 3:53Speaker 2: get together.
- 3:53Speaker 1: To hash it out now. But we're on a show,
- 3:56Speaker 1: so guess what the audience wants to see. So you're
- 3:58Speaker 1: fucking welcome. Yes, exactly, No, for sure. Who are you
- 4:03Speaker 1: currently closest with on the cast? You know who I actually.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Started forming like a really cool friendship with was Alana.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Really yeah, I mean, look at Chelsea, no matter what,
- 4:13Speaker 2: we'll always like just have a special place in my heart,
- 4:15Speaker 2: so like always, But I started to spend a little
- 4:19Speaker 2: bit more time with Alana, who you know, she isn't
- 4:23Speaker 2: wasn't quite as on the center of the show as
- 4:26Speaker 2: but I invited her to this woman's dinner that I
- 4:29Speaker 2: threw and like she was super grateful and thankful.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And then we've been hiking and stuff. So I really
- 4:35Speaker 1: haven't been in La much. I've been traveling with the
- 4:37Speaker 1: family and stuff like that. So I've been busy and
- 4:39Speaker 1: out of the loop.
- 4:40Speaker 2: But Jason and Brett are always like my big brothers.
- 4:42Speaker 2: I mean, to be honest with you, I'm fairly close
- 4:44Speaker 2: with everyone.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I don't really have obviously at a falling out with
- 4:48Speaker 1: Krishelle and stuff like that. But besides that, you know, yeah,
- 4:52Speaker 1: you keep in touch. It's really hard like as you
- 4:54Speaker 1: get older, I've noticed the friendships that I'm searching for
- 5:00Speaker 1: are the ones where if we go that I don't
- 5:02Speaker 1: have to text you back all the time, and if
- 5:05Speaker 1: we go a month without seeing each other that we
- 5:07Speaker 1: can pick up where we left off exactly, because at
- 5:10Speaker 1: this point everyone's getting older. People are starting families, people
- 5:12Speaker 1: are in relationships, people have businesses. You can't dump your
- 5:16Speaker 1: time into a friendship like you could when you were
- 5:19Speaker 1: in your twenties. No, for sure. I'm also a really
- 5:21Speaker 1: bad text I'm the worst. I'm so bad. I don't
- 5:24Speaker 1: text me on the phone. Let's just get there like
- 5:29Speaker 1: a bad I know I am bad. It just it
- 5:32Speaker 1: just comes along with age and having like your priorities shift.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah, or like if I don't know the answer, Like
- 5:37Speaker 2: if you're asking me like a time for something and
- 5:40Speaker 2: I don't know it right then and there, I open
- 5:42Speaker 2: the message and then I click out of it because
- 5:43Speaker 2: I hate the notifications, and then I forget.
- 5:44Speaker 1: To go back. I always mentally respond to people.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Me too, me too, Oh my gosh. Sound like the
- 5:50Speaker 2: cutest mental message, but it doesn't come through.
- 5:52Speaker 1: It doesn't. It makes what is your skincare routine? Oh?
- 5:59Speaker 1: I love skincare. Oh my god, that's like my favorite
- 6:01Speaker 1: topic ever. So funny. It is like I actually never
- 6:04Speaker 1: washed my face, which was like disturbing until I was like,
- 6:07Speaker 1: twenty was it like twenty seven? What you have such gorgeous?
- 6:10Speaker 1: My mom like never? My mom still has never, So
- 6:13Speaker 1: like I do feel like if your parent teaches you
- 6:15Speaker 1: to wash your face, you wash it and if they don't.
- 6:17Speaker 1: But like I remember when I first started dating my
- 6:20Speaker 1: ex that I was engaged to, He's like, oh, do
- 6:22Speaker 1: you want to wash up for bed? I was like,
- 6:24Speaker 1: so I'm ready for bed and.
- 6:26Speaker 2: With full lam on, with full lam on, girl, I
- 6:29Speaker 2: was the most anxiety I've.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Ever find out white sheets. I know, no, I'm telling you.
- 6:34Speaker 2: I would get my makeup done just to go out
- 6:36Speaker 2: at night, and like I would get like two days
- 6:38Speaker 2: out of it.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Oh nom, I'm I'm dying and about to pass away.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Now I know now that I have like a crazy
- 6:46Speaker 1: skin caroutine.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I was like, what was wrong with me? Like I
- 6:49Speaker 2: actually had a mental problem.
- 6:52Speaker 1: But I realized my mom never taught me to wash
- 6:54Speaker 1: my face. She still doesn't wash her face. So she
- 6:56Speaker 1: comes out to visit me. I'm like, Mom, you need
- 6:58Speaker 1: to wash your make go and talk to your mama.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I know we do, we do. She created that, but
- 7:02Speaker 1: I do. And now I'm super ocd. I've been putting
- 7:05Speaker 1: basoline around my eyes since I was probably six because
- 7:09Speaker 1: of my mom talking to me about a skincareer. She
- 7:11Speaker 1: taught you there we go. I love my mom, but
- 7:13Speaker 1: she didn't teach me that. Have you tried the pink
- 7:17Speaker 1: mask by Metacube? No, but I would try. I love anything. Girl.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It's like thirty bucks maybe for four and the way
- 7:25Speaker 1: it should be five hundred dollars really for one. Oh yeah, okay,
- 7:29Speaker 1: you gotta get it. Okay, okay, no love. I love
- 7:32Speaker 1: skincare like a gel mask. It's known as like the
- 7:33Speaker 1: Haley Baber mass. Oh I think I've heard of this.
- 7:36Speaker 1: You gotta try it? Okay, yeah, no, Now I'm like
- 7:38Speaker 1: OCD Cleanser Toner.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I love like doctor Barbara Sturm, you know. Oh yeah,
- 7:44Speaker 2: that's like, oh that's your go too.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Yeah, that's my go to. But oh my god, I
- 7:47Speaker 1: love skincare now. Yeah. I just had to be honest.
- 7:49Speaker 1: You know. It started a little later in life. That's okay, Hey,
- 7:52Speaker 1: it doesn't show at all because makeup is so drying
- 7:55Speaker 1: for your skin. It is. Yeah, no, it really is. Girl.
- 7:58Speaker 1: You got lucky. Those are good jeans, I know. Thank
- 8:01Speaker 1: you should be shriveled up. Seriously, I should have a
- 8:05Speaker 1: little raisin for sure. At Raisin. What is your favorite
- 8:10Speaker 1: vegan food besides your empanadas? Shit, I was gonna say
- 8:13Speaker 1: my ampanadas.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Okay, Well I used to love this vegan pizza that
- 8:17Speaker 2: Nicks at Beverly Hill or you know that restaurant Nicks. Okay,
- 8:20Speaker 2: they had the best vegan pizza. Everything that they had
- 8:23Speaker 2: was amazing. Are you vegan?
- 8:25Speaker 1: No, I'm pescatarian. Pescatarians just the fishy fish, the fish. Yeah,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I gotta get them oils. In advice for someone wanting
- 8:42Speaker 1: to get into real estate, I mean, do it today.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I feel like everyone tries to procrastinate and be like, oh,
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'll get my license or I'll study this so I'll
- 8:49Speaker 1: get my books. Nope, do it today. So funny story
- 8:53Speaker 1: when I first moved to LA and I like it
- 8:55Speaker 1: was not hitting. I was like, this place is the
- 8:57Speaker 1: worst place I've ever been. And so I moved back
- 8:59Speaker 1: to you taught to live like a normal life, and
- 9:02Speaker 1: I was like enrolled in SLICK, which is solid community college,
- 9:05Speaker 1: and I attempted to get my real estate license, and
- 9:09Speaker 1: I would listen to the online classes but not pay attention.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I'd turn the volume all the way down. I'm like,
- 9:14Speaker 1: how hard could it be? I took the test like
- 9:17Speaker 1: seven times and ever passed. I was like, fuck this,
- 9:19Speaker 1: I'm going back to LA that seems way easier. Oh
- 9:21Speaker 1: my god, this is hard. No, it is.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I do you know how many people I have so
- 9:24Speaker 2: many girlfriends that I have been trying to take the test.
- 9:26Speaker 1: For like two three years. Did you pass first time?
- 9:29Speaker 1: I did? Of course I did well. I did. But
- 9:32Speaker 1: to be honest with you, I always give people this
- 9:33Speaker 1: advice too, like I did I didn't read all the books.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I'll probably get trouble for.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Saying that I did not, because I feel like it's
- 9:40Speaker 2: an overload of information. So actually, like I went through
- 9:43Speaker 2: and I did all the quizzes and then for the test,
- 9:46Speaker 2: it was like one hundred questions, So I basically studied
- 9:49Speaker 2: all the questions and then learned all the because a
- 9:51Speaker 2: lot of it is like what year did lead pain,
- 9:53Speaker 2: like random things like you don't even really write, So
- 9:56Speaker 2: it's not really necessarily because I do feel like when
- 9:58Speaker 2: you're out actually in the real estate market, you really
- 10:01Speaker 2: learn what you need to know. Same with like business,
- 10:03Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like if you're so I
- 10:05Speaker 2: thought that was, like, just give me the license and
- 10:07Speaker 2: we'll learn as I go.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Exactly my hands on learner. No exactly, so I basically
- 10:11Speaker 1: like reverse quiz myself.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I did like flash cards and all that, but I
- 10:14Speaker 2: did pass the first time.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Yeah, now you know everything, yeausually been in it? No,
- 10:18Speaker 1: for sure. I love that advice, though, start today, don't procrastinate. Yeah.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Who sells the most houses from the O group in
- 10:26Speaker 1: La Well.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Definitely Jason, but he also like puts his name on
- 10:29Speaker 2: a lot of our stuff. But for the girls, I mean,
- 10:34Speaker 2: I definitely feel like I'm up there.
- 10:35Speaker 1: For sure.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Mary has sold a lot of real estate. Yeah, so
- 10:39Speaker 2: I feel like Mary's up there. I'm up there. Wow,
- 10:42Speaker 2: Yeah I love that.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Yeah. Of course the boys are going to be selling
- 10:46Speaker 1: the most. Yeah, exactly, exactly exactly like you said, they
- 10:49Speaker 1: can throw their name on anything. Yeah. What is your
- 10:51Speaker 1: status with Christine Quinn? Oh there's no relationship there. Yeah
- 10:56Speaker 1: we know. We never had a relationship though. Yeah. What
- 10:59Speaker 1: season did she leave? I think six because she had
- 11:04Speaker 1: a tough breakup, right she.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Had she left six? Yeah, I mean I have no
- 11:07Speaker 2: like it is it's been so many years.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I have no problem with You're like over it, but
- 11:11Speaker 1: you don't run in the same suit.
- 11:12Speaker 2: No, I don't even think she lives in La so
- 11:13Speaker 2: it's not like I would run into her anything. But
- 11:15Speaker 2: I'm ninety percent sure she left six because I think she.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Was there five.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Yeah, because okay, yeah, because Chelsea came on five and
- 11:22Speaker 2: then she wasn't there six. Okay because six with palm
- 11:25Speaker 2: springs with a big blowout with Nicole and Krashelle. So yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 2: I'm like, that's how you track life, that's yeah, I try.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Remember which season with what which would blowout? Yeah. What
- 11:36Speaker 1: can fans expect from this season that differs from the
- 11:39Speaker 1: past seasons?
- 11:41Speaker 2: Well, I think the whole like a lot of the
- 11:43Speaker 2: friendship and the dynamics and everything like that is com
- 11:45Speaker 2: totally like for so many different reasons and ways, and
- 11:51Speaker 2: just like you know, your average friendships are not there anymore, and.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Yeah, which relations and people are so invested in the
- 11:58Speaker 1: friendships it's actually sad, audience member, right, it really is.
- 12:01Speaker 1: For sure. Do the ladies even work in the office
- 12:05Speaker 1: when not filming? Like do they go in Yeah? Yeah,
- 12:08Speaker 1: not not not all of them.
- 12:10Speaker 2: And definitely like there are certain days where like, okay,
- 12:13Speaker 2: there are certain days when we're filming where you see
- 12:15Speaker 2: like I don't know, say, like Chelsea, Mary Bree Krashelle myself.
- 12:20Speaker 1: That's like a full cast.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Like okay, obviously that's not every day, but everyone kind
- 12:24Speaker 2: of pops in and out, you know, throughout like if
- 12:26Speaker 2: they need to, if they need to have a meeting
- 12:28Speaker 2: there or whatever.
- 12:29Speaker 1: You know, it's a gorgeous office, it is.
- 12:31Speaker 2: It is funny you're in five minutes from the office,
- 12:33Speaker 2: so like you just do a little popping exactly exactly.
- 12:36Speaker 1: And are people always outside like peeking through the windows
- 12:39Speaker 1: and taking pictures a lot of the times? Like always?
- 12:42Speaker 1: Is it like most of the places you go, you
- 12:46Speaker 1: you have to be recognized each time, right at least once? Oh? Yeah, no,
- 12:50Speaker 1: it's like it's you know what it is.
- 12:52Speaker 2: A lot of people follow me into bathrooms, which I always.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Say, I love to follow into a bathroom, don't do
- 12:57Speaker 1: don't you have that too? Yes? I'm like, why are
- 13:00Speaker 1: we in here? Recent lighting? And my God'm good? That's
- 13:04Speaker 1: like the okay, that's like the one thing like I
- 13:06Speaker 1: actually might rather have you come up to me well
- 13:08Speaker 1: when I'm eating than in the bathroom. Yeah, you know,
- 13:11Speaker 1: like I'm like, you're doing a selfie there's a toilet
- 13:13Speaker 1: in the background might be weird. You know, please don't
- 13:16Speaker 1: tag me. Yeah, yeah, yeah exactly. You know, like some
- 13:18Speaker 1: sometimes the bathroom lighting is good, but sometimes it is
- 13:21Speaker 1: not good, like you do. Sometimes it's very oh my god,
- 13:24Speaker 1: I look like this. Most of the time. I don't
- 13:26Speaker 1: get glammed up unless there's me neither.
- 13:28Speaker 2: No, no, no, me neither. Let me just assure you
- 13:30Speaker 2: that I will. I'm like full rat mode majority of
- 13:32Speaker 2: the time.
- 13:33Speaker 1: The only time I'm glammed is if you have a
- 13:34Speaker 1: big body HD camera on me. Other than that, like hello,
- 13:38Speaker 1: as good as it gets, no exactly, but yeah, no,
- 13:41Speaker 1: it's crazy because like even I go to London, I
- 13:43Speaker 1: go to Bahamas, I oh, I'm like, everyone is like,
- 13:47Speaker 1: I mean the world the show is a big show,
- 13:49Speaker 1: you know, and I guess that's massive. I didn't realize
- 13:51Speaker 1: that when I first joined. I had no idea. I know,
- 13:53Speaker 1: I'm sure. It was like a shock. It was a
- 13:55Speaker 1: shock that people are obsessed with you guys. Yeah, what
- 13:58Speaker 1: other reality show would you go on? So? Oh, I mean,
- 14:02Speaker 1: I don't think I would go on any after going
- 14:04Speaker 1: on this one. Do you watch Beverly Hills or like
- 14:07Speaker 1: like any of the Real Housewives.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I watch them. Well, I don't know
- 14:10Speaker 2: if I would necessarily go on as it is. I
- 14:13Speaker 2: feel like I'm overwhelmed by my show, Like.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Oh god, so you're good, you're just a selling sunset.
- 14:19Speaker 1: What about like a competition show, like a Traders or something.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Would you ever do that?
- 14:23Speaker 2: I would do like Dancing with the Stars or something.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Not that I can dance, but I think that's grueling,
- 14:28Speaker 2: by the way. Yeah, I feel like I would do that,
- 14:30Speaker 2: But like, I don't know, Traders. I feel like I
