Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / As Expected Ghislaine Maxwell Pleads The Fifth To All Questions Asked By Congress
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. So Glainne Maxwell was said to be deposed today,
- 0:10and as expected, she pled the fifth and like the
- 0:14Skeffooz as she is, she refused to answer any questions. Now,
- 0:19of course, she didn't have the same problem when she
- 0:22was yapping with her buddy Todd baby Billy Blanche during
- 0:26her deposition with the DOJ. And the reason that she
- 0:29was willing to speak to the DOJ and not to
- 0:32Congress is because the DOJ promised her that they white
- 0:36glove that interview and that it wasn't going to be
- 0:39a gotcha moment, and that they wanted to give Glene
- 0:43Maxwell a chance to get her story on the record,
- 0:46as if she hasn't had the ability to do that,
- 0:49as if she didn't have a chance to take the
- 0:51stand at her trial. Oh that's right, she didn't do
- 0:54that either, right. I wonder, why can you imagine being
- 0:59accused of some shit like this and I'll bring in
- 1:01your ass to the stand. You would have to gag me,
- 1:05bag me, and throw me in the back of a
- 1:07black van to keep me from testifying. If I was
- 1:10being falsely accused of some horrendous shit like this. But
- 1:14these do nods want us to believe that they wanted
- 1:17to give Glaine Maxwell a chance to get her story
- 1:20on the record. The whole entire thing's been nothing but
- 1:23a sham since day one, and it continues to be
- 1:27a sham today. And what you're seeing right now, in
- 1:30real time is the biggest cover up in American history.
- 1:36Today's article is from The Hill and the headline Maxwell
- 1:40pleads the fifth in House deposition on Epstein files. This
- 1:44article was authored by Rebecca bisch Ghlaine Maxwell, the former
- 1:50girlfriend and close associate. You mean fellow child abuser, right,
- 1:55you mean bipedal servant and all around scusbag. That's what
- 1:59you mean, got it. I'd hate to not label Glainne
- 2:03Maxwell with all of the labels that she deserves. Maxwell
- 2:07refused to answer questions during a deposition with the House
- 2:11Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Monday, asserting her Fifth
- 2:15Amendment right. Maxwell previously indicated her plans to do so,
- 2:20saying she would testify under oath only if she was
- 2:24given criminal immunity. Now do you think you need immunity
- 2:28if you're innocent? If I was rotting in prison, and
- 2:32I was innocent, you better believe I'd be talking all
- 2:37kinds of crazy and to whoever wanted to talk, whether
- 2:41it was news outlets, whether it was the government, anyone.
- 2:45But when it comes to Glann Maxwell, she only wants
- 2:48to talk if things are tilted in her favor. But
- 2:51unlike the DOJ, Congress wasn't willing to bend and bow
- 2:55to what Glaine Maxwell wanted. Lawmakers exiting the deposition were incensed.
- 3:01She asserted her Fifth Amendment right on every question posed
- 3:05to her, arguing the blanket response was appropriate given that
- 3:09they had many questions that did not concern her conduct.
- 3:13She was given an opportunity. We would have brought her
- 3:16in months ago, but she indicated she was going to
- 3:19plead the fifth and unfortunately she had the opportunity today
- 3:23to answer questions that every American has, questions that would
- 3:27be very important in this investigation, and she chose to
- 3:32invoke her Fifth Amendment right. Oversight Committee James Comer said
- 3:36after exiting the deposition, which was conducted virtually as Maxwell
- 3:41serves out her prison term in Texas, YO, whoever becomes
- 3:45president next, the first order of business should be to
- 3:49rescind whatever order was signed by President Trump and his
- 3:54bop that afforded Maxwell all of these great privileges and
- 3:58send her ass back to a different facility. She needs
- 4:02to be in a place where traffickers and violent people go.
- 4:07She doesn't need to be a camp cupcake. She hasn't
- 4:10earned that, she doesn't deserve that. And there's no way
- 4:14in hell I'm okay, Well, my tax dollars paying for it.
- 4:17And furthermore, you see all these people that are pissed
- 4:19off about the halftime show yesterday, whether it was Bad
- 4:23Bunny or the other one with Kid Rock, and I'm
- 4:27saying to myself, well, maybe a few people were as
- 4:30mad about the halftime show as you are about Glenn Maxwell.
- 4:34We'd get some results here and some movement. But folks
- 4:37can't help themselves. They always have to fall for whatever
- 4:40kind of created crisis or a wedge issue is put
- 4:44before them. Especially now that we have the Internet. All
- 4:47people do is fight and argue about the dumbest things. Meanwhile,
- 4:50the people that protected Epstein, the people that promoted Epstein,
- 4:55the people that benefited from Epstein, they're all laughing at you,
- 4:59and they've already moved on to the next plot, the
- 5:01next way to separate you from money and from your dignity.
- 5:08Representative Suha Submarinean said her refusal to cooperate reflected an
- 5:13active bid to gain clemency from President Trump. Look, there's
- 5:16no doubt that that's an angle. She really wants to
- 5:19get pardoned, and if that means being quiet and not
- 5:24rocking the boat, that's what she's gonna do. Remember, she's
- 5:28looking at a twenty piece, so she's not going anywhere.
- 5:32So in her mind, if she stays quiet till the
- 5:34end of Trump's term, who the fuck knows what she
- 5:36was promised? Do you really trust Todd Blanche not to
- 5:41offer her the world to remain quiet? And to be clear,
- 5:45I'm not saying that's exactly what happened. I don't know.
- 5:49I have no idea what was offered, what was gained,
- 5:53what was given, and why in the hell the DOJ
- 5:56would even think about getting into bed with Glene Maxwell.
- 6:00I'd rather spend time in a Taliban prison than believe
- 6:04Glenn Maxwell for one single second about anything. Glainne Maxwell
- 6:12should have no hope of ever getting out of prison,
- 6:14but today she, through her lawyer, explicitly stated that she
- 6:19wants to be out of prison through clemency that this
- 6:22president would grant. And she's campaigning over and over again
- 6:25to get that pardon from President Trump, and this president
- 6:29has not ruled it out. Submaranian told her reporters on Monday,
- 6:34Well he hasn't. This guy's not lying about that. It
- 6:40would be easy for Donald Trump just to come out
- 6:42and say, look, that's never gonna happen. I'm not giving
- 6:45her a pardon. What are you crazy? She heard children,
- 6:49But according to Donald Trump, all this shit's a hoax.
- 6:52And I think one of the biggest tells is the
- 6:55way that Glayne Maxwell's being treated. They can give us
- 6:58all the lip service they want. Oh care about victims,
- 7:01we care about kids, We care about this one, we
- 7:03care about that one. Meanwhile, the redactions tell us who
- 7:07you really care about and breaking news, it's not the kids.
- 7:12Representative Andy Biggs mentioned that an attorney for Maxwell, David
- 7:16Oscar Marcus, said in his opening statement that she could
- 7:19provide information that neither Trump nor former President Clinton, who
- 7:23has also been subpoenaed by the committee, were involved in
- 7:27any wrongdoing. Marcus made the same assertion on x after
- 7:31the close of the deposition. Well, she knows that those
- 7:36two didn't do anything. But everybody else, you know, maybe
- 7:39who's buying this shit. And if you're buying it, you're
- 7:42a moron. I hate to be so direct, but man,
- 7:46you have to be really stupid to believe anything that
- 7:50Golain Maxwell's saying. Submaranian said mentioning Clinton was an obvious
- 7:56but faulty ploy to get support for a clemency from
- 8:00both parties. Representative Melanie Stansbury criticize Biggs for sharing that information,
- 8:06noting committee rules bar sharing details from a deposition before
- 8:11the transcript has been publicly released. These people don't care.
- 8:15You think anybody in Congress cares about what the rules are. Yo.
- 8:21You guys need to understand. These people aren't there as
- 8:23your advocate, as your voice. They're all there, every last
- 8:27one of them, to enrich of themselves and if they
- 8:30can do some good along the way, cool, they'll do it.
- 8:33But that's not the requisite. The whole idea is to
- 8:37make a bunch of dough and then dip. I mean,
- 8:40look at a guy like Jim Bayner, spent his whole
- 8:43entire life talking shit about weed, talking about drugs, leaves
- 8:48Congress and gets a job working on the board of
- 8:51a marijuana company. I mean, come on now, the faith
- 8:57that people put in these elected official is bizarre to me.
- 9:02They don't care about you. How much more evidence do
- 9:06you need. It's very clear that she used this opportunity
- 9:13to not only campaign for clemency, as she's been doing,
- 9:16but to also send a direct message that she's hoping
- 9:19that people who were sitting in the deposition will transmit
- 9:23to the President of the United States, which is that
- 9:26her silence can be bought through clemency. Stansbury said, we
- 9:31were told explicitly not to repeat things that were said
- 9:34in that room. It's very clear she's campaigning for clemency,
- 9:38and it's very clear that mister Biggs delivered that message
- 9:41to Donald Trump. Well, we can get rid of all
- 9:45of that, make all of these public. I call for
- 9:50full transparency. I don't trust any of these people, not
- 9:52one of them. I don't care what letters next to
- 9:54your name. I don't care what kind of argument you're having.
- 9:57I don't care what kind of happy face you put on.
- 10:01It's about what you do, and it's about how far
- 10:04you're willing to go to hold people accountable. And if
- 10:09our own Congress members, men, women, everybody in between can't
- 10:15muster up the courage to do it. Then where does
- 10:18that leave us? Well, it leaves us in the place
- 10:20we're at now, where we're forcing our elected officials to
- 10:24care about the issue. And that's why it's important to
- 10:26keep the heat on, make sure they understand that this
- 10:29issue isn't going away and it's going to become a
- 10:32very important issue when the election comes rolling in. Representative
- 10:38Robert Garcia said Maxwell's refusal to answer questions also stemy
- 10:43Democrat's interest in uncovering more details about why Maxwell was
- 10:47transferred from Florida to a lower security prison after her
- 10:51meeting last year with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. Well,
- 10:55here's an idea. Bring Blanche in. I know, I know,
- 10:59crazy Ida, right, you guys have oversight over the DOJ
- 11:04or at least you should, so bring him in, sit
- 11:07him down, put him under oath. Let's get this train moving.
- 11:13After months of defying our subpoena, Glene Maxwell finally appeared
- 11:17before the Oversight Committee and said nothing. She answered no
- 11:21questions and provided no information about the men who raped
- 11:24in traffic women and girls. Garcia said, in a statement,
- 11:28who is she protecting and we need to know why
- 11:31she's been given special treatment at a low security prison
- 11:35by the Trump administration. We're going to end this White
- 11:39House cover up. Boy, I hope so. But do you
- 11:43think I trust Robert Garcia, I don't. Representative Rocnna, one
- 11:49of the two main sponsors of the bill that mandated
- 11:53the Justice Department released the Epstein files, said he planned
- 11:56to pose a number of questions that had little to
- 11:59do with Maxwell's own actions. Who are the other co conspirators,
- 12:04Who are the other men who rate these underage girls?
- 12:07Did she have any conversations about a deal with Donald Trump?
- 12:11She's taken a blanket Fifth Amendment on any question, And
- 12:15my view is that many of the questions don't in
- 12:18any way incriminate her, Conna said, and look, I like
- 12:21ro Conna, I think he's doing the right thing here,
- 12:24but he's still not doing it the right way. And
- 12:26the right way is to bring in the low level
- 12:28operatives that we're making the machine run. Sarah Kellen Vickers,
- 12:33Adriana Ross, Leslie Groff, Nadia marsen Kova. Even though I
- 12:38think Nadia is a different story because she was taken
- 12:41as a child basically and groomed, so I would be
- 12:44much more willing to see Nadia not get as punished
- 12:48as the rest of the core four. But I think
- 12:50that all of them, Nadia included, have to be brought
- 12:53in and put under oath if you really want to
- 12:56get down to it, that's how you do it. You
- 12:58bring in all the low level lieutenants and you peel
- 13:01it back, and then you have people flip on each
- 13:04other because they don't want to do one hundred and
- 13:06fifty thousand years because they got mailed with RICO. But
- 13:11none of that happened, did it. Why did she plead
- 13:14the fifth when Blanche asked her questions and now she's
- 13:16pleading the fifth about things that don't implicate her but
- 13:20may implicate many of the other powerful people in Epstein's
- 13:23class that committed these crimes. Well, she likes breathing, for one.
- 13:29Do you guys really think that Epstein killed himself? I mean,
- 13:32come on, with all the evidence that's been presented, the
- 13:38official narratives, the one that sounds most likely, and you're
- 13:41wondering why Gallaine Maxwell doesn't want to talk. Huh, All right,
- 13:45I guess Maxwell did sign a profit agreement before her
- 13:49meeting with Blanche placing some limitations on how the Justice
- 13:53Department could use the information that she provided. Maxwell has
- 13:58filed a habeas corpus in seeking a new trial as
- 14:02well as her release, and her attorney previously said she
- 14:05could not risk further criminal exposure. Trump is not ruled
- 14:10out awarding clemency for Maxwell, saying in October that he
- 14:14would have to take a look at it. Maxwell's attorney
- 14:17on Monday said that only she can provide the complete account,
- 14:21including that both President Trump and President Clinton are innocent
- 14:25of wrongdoing. Is Marcus trying to bribe Trump and Clinton
- 14:33to put pressure on people to have her give her
- 14:36deposition so it can exonerate them. What the hell's even
- 14:41going on here? And why does Marcus keep saying that?
- 14:44And if he thinks that the Democrats are going to
- 14:47save Clinton this time, he's wrong. And the reason they're
- 14:51not going to save Clinton is because they want Trump
- 14:53to get up there and get the posed eventually too,
- 14:56so they're willing to jettison Clinton over the side of
- 14:59the boat. Just like in court, it's all about precedent,
- 15:03and they're trying to set the precedent. She must remain
- 15:07silent because Miss Maxwell has a habeas corpus petition currently
- 15:12pending that demonstrates that her conviction rests on a fundamentally
- 15:16unfair trial. He wrote in a statement on x if
- 15:19this committee and the American public truly want to hear
- 15:22the unfiltered truth about what happened, there's a straightforward path.
- 15:26Miss Maxwell is prepared to speak fully and honestly if
- 15:29granted clemency by President Trump. Oh yeah, the woman who
- 15:34got Neil for perjury twice is going to give us
- 15:36the full and unadulterated truth. Huh. Nothing like Elayne Maxwell,
- 15:41as honest as good old George Washington, getting up there
- 15:45and telling us the real truth, because you know, she's
- 15:47never had a chance to do so before. Yo. If
- 15:50this wasn't so disgusting, it would be hilarious. But considering
- 15:54it's so sickening, it's anything but. And the only thing
- 15:57that's sicker than this whole entire scenario that's playing out
- 16:00surrounding Glene Maxwell is Glenne Maxwell herself. All of the
- 16:07information that goes with this episode can be found in
