Mizuho survey finds strong interest in Robinhood single-stock futures

A survey of over 600 active Robinhood users indicates significant potential interest in single-stock perpetual futures. Ninety-four percent said they would be likely or very likely to trade these contracts if they become available. Mizuho analysts noted that the risk of diverting activity from current stock trading seems minimal: 84 percent of those surveyed said they would use mostly or entirely new funds. “We see this as a potentially strong positive,” wrote Mizuho managing director Dan Dolev in a Wednesday note.
