Forty-year-old Nelson Wilson got caught with over 200 stolen items—including cars, guns, wallets, laptops, and even Social Security cards—in his motel room. Facing 31 charges, he took a plea deal admitting to 11, including possession of stolen property and an illegal handgun. Police say he targeted cars and garages in Rumford before being nabbed. He’s sentenced to eight years, but only three will be served; the rest is suspended with eight years of probation, plus restitution and substance abuse counseling.
