- 0:12Speaker 2: you get your podcast. Center Today on the show, We've
- 0:16Speaker 2: got a warning every American needs to hear. The Democratic
- 0:19Speaker 2: Socialists of America have just unveiled what they say is
- 0:23Speaker 2: their new radical political agenda. It's in writing and it
- 0:27Speaker 2: should scare everyone in this country.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Well, we are witnessing the rapid takeover of the Democrat
- 0:33Speaker 3: Party by the DSA. They call themselves the Democrats Socialists
- 0:37Speaker 3: of America, but what they are is they are Marxists,
- 0:39Speaker 3: they are Communists, that they are radicals. And what is
- 0:44Speaker 3: amazing is the Democrat Party is barely resisting this hostile takeover.
- 0:50Speaker 3: It seems the leadership of the Democrat Party has decided
- 0:53Speaker 3: to follow the philosophy of feeding the alligator and hoping
- 0:56Speaker 3: that it'll eat you last. And it's a losing strategy.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Saw the primary results in New York City of three
- 1:02Speaker 3: communists winning the Democrat primaries in New York City. We
- 1:06Speaker 3: saw the primary in Colorado of another communist winning in Colorado,
- 1:10Speaker 3: and to understand just how radical these people are. These
- 1:15Speaker 3: are not democrats, these are open communists. Here, I want
- 1:19Speaker 3: you to listen. This is Fox News covering just how
- 1:21Speaker 3: radical the DSA is. Give a listen.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Before we get to that, I want to talk to
- 1:25Speaker 2: you real quick about Patriot Mobile. If you've got a
- 1:28Speaker 2: cell phone, well, then you really need to take a
- 1:31Speaker 2: moment and see what's happening. If you feel like the
- 1:35Speaker 2: country has momentum with our leaders fighting to restore common
- 1:38Speaker 2: sense in America, first we've seen this before. We get excited,
- 1:42Speaker 2: then we get complacent, we get comfortable, and what happens,
- 1:45Speaker 2: inch by inch the Democrats start doing exactly what we're
- 1:48Speaker 2: witnessing and what we're warning you about. The socialists, the
- 1:50Speaker 2: communists and Marxist Well, America it needs all of us
- 1:53Speaker 2: in the fight. And a big part of that momentum
- 1:56Speaker 2: means supporting companies that actually stand for your values and
- 2:00Speaker 2: don't work against your values every day when you give
- 2:02Speaker 2: them your money. That is why Patriot Mobile is amazing.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Not only they give you premium priority nationwide service on
- 2:09Speaker 2: any of the three major US networks. Well, you get
- 2:12Speaker 2: the coverage you need, you get a limited data plans,
- 2:14Speaker 2: mobile hotspots, international roaming. You also get a one hundred
- 2:18Speaker 2: percent US based customer support team. That is the other
- 2:21Speaker 2: reason why I love them. They support this country. Now
- 2:24Speaker 2: here's where the magic happens. They have built a movement
- 2:27Speaker 2: of not only just defending faith, family, and freedom, but
- 2:31Speaker 2: they literally donate millions of dollars every year organizations that
- 2:35Speaker 2: fight for our freedoms and no extra cost to you.
- 2:39Speaker 2: So when you pay that bill, you know you're making
- 2:41Speaker 2: a difference. And I want you to try it for free.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Go to Patriot Mobile dot com slash vertict Patriot Mobile
- 2:48Speaker 2: dot com slash vertict or nine to seven to Patriot
- 2:51Speaker 2: and use that promo code verdict for a free month
- 2:54Speaker 2: of service Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict or nine
- 2:58Speaker 2: seven to two Patriot and you can make that switch
- 3:00Speaker 2: easy today. All right, let's play, All right, so let's
- 3:04Speaker 2: let you hear the warning of how radical the DSA
- 3:08Speaker 2: has become. Fox News putting this out on their new
- 3:11Speaker 2: agenda items.
- 3:12Speaker 5: All right, welcome back to the Democratic Socialists just unveiled
- 3:15Speaker 5: a sweeping new policy agenda calls for a dramatic overhaul
- 3:20Speaker 5: of all three branches of the government. They say, on
- 3:24Speaker 5: the plus side, you'll probably never have to pay a
- 3:27Speaker 5: bill again.
- 3:27Speaker 6: Take a listen, You're able to take a day off
- 3:30Speaker 6: and not have to worry, and you don't have to
- 3:32Speaker 6: have a job just to pay the bills because you
- 3:34Speaker 6: don't have a lot of bills. Right, Bills are no
- 3:37Speaker 6: longer a thing because there's not for profit businesses that
- 3:41Speaker 6: are constantly trying to exploit you and trying to, you know,
- 3:45Speaker 6: put you into debt.
- 3:46Speaker 5: We wanted to lift up that demand very clearly and
- 3:48Speaker 5: to state, you know, abolish ice and ice attention and
- 3:52Speaker 5: deportations and punish the brutality of these federal agents. Of
- 3:56Speaker 5: course on the Madeline RIVERA has all the details for
- 3:59Speaker 5: us in the DC newsroom.
- 4:01Speaker 7: Hey Maddie, Good afternoon, Jillyan. Besides those things, the DSA
- 4:04Speaker 7: also calls for defunding the Department of War Reparations and
- 4:08Speaker 7: wealth taxes. They argue capitalism hinders freedom and that our
- 4:12Speaker 7: current political system is not true democracy.
- 4:16Speaker 6: Why do we have a Senate? Like a lot of
- 4:19Speaker 6: people are going to see that and they be like,
- 4:20Speaker 6: wait a second, why do I have a Senate, Like,
- 4:23Speaker 6: what's so great about the Senate? I mean, I can
- 4:25Speaker 6: I'm not sure about this, but I'm pretty sure the
- 4:27Speaker 6: only popular senator is Bernie Sanders is because he ran
- 4:30Speaker 6: for president as a Democratic Socialist.
- 4:33Speaker 7: The DSA is pushing for an expansion of the House,
- 4:35Speaker 7: which they argue is a more accurate representation of the population,
- 4:40Speaker 7: and they want the Supreme Court to be replaced by
- 4:42Speaker 7: age ediciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress. The new
- 4:46Speaker 7: platform comes as the DSA hits one hundred twenty thousand members,
- 4:50Speaker 7: which they say is now the largest socialist organization in
- 4:54Speaker 7: the country. The agenda will essentially serve as a rallying
- 4:57Speaker 7: call as they try to build on the wins of
- 4:59Speaker 7: left candidates and recent primaries. Democrats are torn about how
- 5:03Speaker 7: to tackle the rise of socialism within their party, but
- 5:07Speaker 7: Senator Bernie Sanders says it's been a long time coming.
- 5:11Speaker 8: We are seeing a real movement of the American people
- 5:14Speaker 8: who increasingly understand that we are living in a moment
- 5:18Speaker 8: we're never in our history have so few people, multi
- 5:21Speaker 8: multi billionaires, had so much economic and political power, and
- 5:25Speaker 8: all across this country, we're seeing a profound discuss people
- 5:29Speaker 8: are standing up and saying that establishment politics and establishment
- 5:33Speaker 8: policies are not working. We need change.
- 5:37Speaker 7: How Speaker Mike Johnson and other Republicans are sounding the
- 5:40Speaker 7: alarm framing communism is a real threat ahead of the midterms.
- 5:44Speaker 2: You listen to this and not only is a real threat,
- 5:47Speaker 2: but they're winning and as you mentioned, they're gaining momentum center.
- 5:51Speaker 2: This is I actually believe that now real Democratic Party.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Well well, let me be clear, they are not gaining
- 5:58Speaker 3: momentum in the reality of life. These are fringe and
- 6:02Speaker 3: radical ideas. One of the reasons that these communists won
- 6:06Speaker 3: the primaries in New York City is only eight percent
- 6:09Speaker 3: of the primary voter showed up to vote, So they
- 6:12Speaker 3: are doing a hostile takeover. But most Americans don't agree
- 6:15Speaker 3: with these ideas. These ideas are extreme, so they put
- 6:17Speaker 3: out this is not you and me putting words in
- 6:20Speaker 3: their mouth. They put out a manifesto that is called
- 6:23Speaker 3: the Workers Declare more declaration. It would expand the House
- 6:28Speaker 3: of Representatives, eliminate the Senate, make the new House of
- 6:32Speaker 3: Representatives select the president. So guess what these radicals want
- 6:36Speaker 3: to take away? Your right to vote for president. You
- 6:38Speaker 3: wouldn't get to vote for president at all. Under their proposal,
- 6:42Speaker 3: they want to make the Supreme Court subservient to the
- 6:47Speaker 3: new House of Representatives. As the manifesto says, quote, replace
- 6:52Speaker 3: the two party system with a multi party democracy, Expand
- 6:56Speaker 3: the House of Representatives, implement proportional representation and rank choice
- 7:00Speaker 3: voting in all elections, and abolish the Senate. They're not
- 7:03Speaker 3: done with that. They want to abolish other things. Abolish
- 7:06Speaker 3: the Electoral College, replace the president of the Supreme Court
- 7:09Speaker 3: with an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress.
- 7:16Speaker 3: They also said that they want to establish public ownership
- 7:23Speaker 3: of the largest corporations and industries to quote ensure democratic
- 7:28Speaker 3: control and accountability to the people. They call for enacting
- 7:32Speaker 3: quote aggressive wealth taxes on the richest individuals and corporations,
- 7:37Speaker 3: And the manifesto says, quote it's been said that it's
- 7:40Speaker 3: easier to imagine the end of the world than it
- 7:43Speaker 3: is to imagine the end of capitalism. But just because
- 7:46Speaker 3: it isn't easy to imagine now doesn't mean we shouldn't
- 7:49Speaker 3: try to make it happen. Workers deserve more, And they
- 7:53Speaker 3: go on to say, quote some of these demands maybe
- 7:56Speaker 3: one under current systems, but we know completely victory will
- 8:01Speaker 3: require building a new society from the ground up. On
- 8:05Speaker 3: top of that, their demands include defunding the Department of War,
- 8:10Speaker 3: abolishing Ice, and eliminating the Jewish State of Israel, eliminating
- 8:15Speaker 3: Israel altogether, and making Jerusalem the capital of a free Palestine.
- 8:20Speaker 3: These are the radicals that are the heart of the
- 8:23Speaker 3: Democrat Party, that are winning Democrat primaries, and that have
- 8:26Speaker 3: every elected Democrat in Congress terrified out.
- 8:29Speaker 9: Of their minds.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Center.
- 8:31Speaker 2: It was a very interesting week on Capitol Hill in Washington.
- 8:35Speaker 2: It was actually not covered the way that typically you
- 8:38Speaker 2: see hearings covered with Todd Blanche. And you were there
- 8:41Speaker 2: for this, so get us up to date on how
- 8:44Speaker 2: this went down and what happened.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Well. Obviously, President Trump has nominated Todd Blanche to be
- 8:48Speaker 3: the Attorney General. He had his confirmation hearing this past week.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Actually started the week by going to the Department of
- 8:55Speaker 3: Justice and helping moot Todd, helping get him ready. They
- 8:57Speaker 3: had a conference room set up with a whole line
- 9:00Speaker 3: of lawyers and each of us were playing different individuals,
- 9:04Speaker 3: different senators on the Judiciary Committee. I actually played in
- 9:07Speaker 3: the mood. I played Sheldon White, house.
- 9:08Speaker 9: So I was going to ask you.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Straws for this, like, how does it work?
- 9:13Speaker 1: How do you pick who gets to because.
- 9:16Speaker 3: They just assigned it. They assigned it to me. I
- 9:19Speaker 3: did not choose. But look my questioning. I will tell
- 9:23Speaker 3: you in the moot, I was not nice to Todd.
- 9:27Speaker 3: In the mood, I was obnoxious and yelling and screaming
- 9:31Speaker 3: and insulting him and insulting his integrity. And I was
- 9:34Speaker 3: insulting the President, and I was calling everyone corrupt, and
- 9:36Speaker 3: I was channeling everything the Trump derangement syndrome that has
- 9:41Speaker 3: so consumed the Democrat Party. I channeled it. I will
- 9:46Speaker 3: say I went in this was the day before the hearing.
- 9:48Speaker 3: We were doing the moot. I went in with a
- 9:51Speaker 3: very high level of confidence because despite the fact that
- 9:53Speaker 3: I mean, it was a rough moot, and if you
- 9:55Speaker 3: do a moot right, it should be worse than the
- 9:56Speaker 3: real hearing, and I'll say it was when we actually
- 10:01Speaker 3: What gave me comfort in the mood is that Todd
- 10:03Speaker 3: was calm. He didn't lose his cool. He's a smart lawyer,
- 10:07Speaker 3: and he just answered systematically and did a very effective job.
- 10:11Speaker 3: And then the hearing itself, Todd did even better. Here's
- 10:15Speaker 3: the beginning of my questioning. When the Democrats had been
- 10:18Speaker 3: screaming about politicization, Here's what I said when it came
- 10:22Speaker 3: to my turn to ask questions. He's rich seeing Senate
- 10:26Speaker 3: Democrats complaining about weaponization and politicization of the Department of
- 10:32Speaker 3: Justice after four years in which they were complicit in
- 10:35Speaker 3: the greatest abuse we have ever seen of the Department
- 10:40Speaker 3: of Justice. I want to do something that was strikingly
- 10:43Speaker 3: absent in much of the questioning from our Democrat colleagues,
- 10:47Speaker 3: which is actually focused on facts instead of made up stories.
- 10:52Speaker 3: And I want to compare where the Department was under
- 10:55Speaker 3: Joe Biden to where it is now under your leadership.
- 11:01Speaker 3: During the Biden administration, the Justice Department devoted extraordinary resources
- 11:07Speaker 3: to investigating and prosecuting President Trump and as supporters. Is
- 11:12Speaker 3: that correct, mister blanch It is the Department authorized Operation
- 11:17Speaker 3: Arctic Frost, which investigated members of Congress and other political figures.
- 11:22Speaker 9: Is that correct, yes, Center.
- 11:25Speaker 3: The department senior leadership, Attorney General Merrick Garland, Deputy Attorney
- 11:29Speaker 3: General Lisa Monaco, FBI Director Chris ray All personally approved
- 11:33Speaker 3: the opening of this investigation.
- 11:35Speaker 8: Is that right?
- 11:35Speaker 9: That's correct?
- 11:37Speaker 3: This investigation involved nearly two hundred subpoenas targeted over four
- 11:44Speaker 3: hundred Republican aligned groups and individuals. Is that right, yes?
- 11:48Speaker 9: Center?
- 11:50Speaker 3: And then the FBI obtained without our knowledge, the cell
- 11:54Speaker 3: phone data of twenty percent of the Republicans in the Senate,
- 12:00Speaker 3: including me and many of my colleagues on this committee,
- 12:03Speaker 3: as well as now FBI Director Cash Betel and now
- 12:07Speaker 3: White House Chief of Staff Susie Wilde's Is that correct?
- 12:10Speaker 9: Yes? Center.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I will, by the way, the simple yes, Senator, like,
- 12:14Speaker 2: this is exactly what happened. Yes, Senator, this is exactly
- 12:17Speaker 2: what happened. And the whiteboard you had up there of
- 12:20Speaker 2: all the senators that were spied on that was amazing
- 12:22Speaker 2: visual as.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Well well, going through the facts and laying out the record.
- 12:26Speaker 3: And then if you contrast it, because what I did
- 12:30Speaker 3: is I contrasted not just the absolute political corruption, but
- 12:34Speaker 3: also the difference between open borders and the incredible successes
- 12:38Speaker 3: we've seen in the last year and a half under
- 12:40Speaker 3: President Trump actually securing the border. And I pointed out
- 12:45Speaker 3: the victims of open borders and mass illegal immigrations that
- 12:48Speaker 3: the Democrats would not talk about or acknowledge. Here give
- 12:51Speaker 3: a listen, when the Department of Justice loses sight of
- 12:55Speaker 3: criminals because it has turned into a partisan arm of
- 12:59Speaker 3: the DNA. See, the American people pay the price. It
- 13:03Speaker 3: also meant the Department of Justice was not doing its job,
- 13:07Speaker 3: which is enforcing the law and putting criminals in jail.
- 13:11Speaker 3: During the Biden administration, there were roughly twelve million encounters
- 13:16Speaker 3: at the southern border. Is that correct? Yes, Approximately two
- 13:20Speaker 3: million illegal aliens were known to have entered but were
- 13:24Speaker 3: not apprehended, the so called godaways. Is that right?
- 13:27Speaker 9: Yes, that's correct.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Fentanohl became the leading cause of death for Americans between
- 13:33Speaker 3: the ages of eighteen and forty five. Is that right?
- 13:36Speaker 9: That's correct.
- 13:36Speaker 3: That was courtesy of the Democrats open border policies of
- 13:41Speaker 3: letting drug dealers and human traffickers flood into this country
- 13:45Speaker 3: because they believed it would benefit them politically. Violent transnational
- 13:50Speaker 3: criminal organizations including the Sinaloa Cartel, the Haalisco New Generation Cartel,
- 13:54Speaker 3: MS thirteen, and Trend de Uragua expanded their operations inside
- 13:59Speaker 3: the United States. Is that right?
- 14:01Speaker 9: It is absolutely correct.
- 14:04Speaker 3: And then, something we never hear from the Democrats side
- 14:08Speaker 3: of the aisle, the victims justly and Nungary. I've not
- 14:14Speaker 3: heard one Democrat so much as utter her name. The
- 14:18Speaker 3: little girl tragically raped and murdered by two Venezuelan gang members.
- 14:23Speaker 3: The Biden administration released Lake and Riley. Again, the Democrats
- 14:29Speaker 3: cannot even say her name. Rachel Moran, a mom brutally
- 14:34Speaker 3: raped and murdered by another illegal the Biden Justice Department released.
- 14:39Speaker 3: These were daughters, these were students, these were mothers, and
- 14:43Speaker 3: they would be alive if the Department of Justice had
- 14:46Speaker 3: done its duty. So let's compare the lawlessness, the partisanship,
- 14:52Speaker 3: the abusive power of the Biden Department of Justice to
- 14:56Speaker 3: what has happened in the last eighteen months. Mis objectively,
- 15:02Speaker 3: the American people are safer today than they were eighteen
- 15:04Speaker 3: months ago? Is that correct?
- 15:06Speaker 9: There is no doubt?
- 15:08Speaker 3: Now, that's not simply empty rhetoric. Since President Trump took
- 15:14Speaker 3: off as federal law enforcement has arrested approximately twenty nine
- 15:18Speaker 3: thousand violent gang members.
- 15:19Speaker 6: Is that right?
- 15:20Speaker 9: That's correct.
- 15:21Speaker 3: The Department has disrupted or dismantled approximately two thousand, seven
- 15:25Speaker 3: hundred gangs, a three hundred and sixty five percent increase
- 15:30Speaker 3: over the comparable period of time in the previous administration.
- 15:33Speaker 9: Is that right, that's correct.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Arrests of trender Aragua members have increased by approximately five
- 15:39Speaker 3: hundred and nineteen percent. Is that right?
- 15:41Speaker 9: That's correct.
- 15:43Speaker 3: In twenty twenty five, the United States saw the largest
- 15:47Speaker 3: one year drop in violent crime and murder since nineteen
- 15:51Speaker 3: thirty seven. Homicides across America's largest cities fell more than
- 15:56Speaker 3: nineteen percent. Is that right?
- 15:59Speaker 9: That's correct.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I want to get back to this back and forth
- 16:03Speaker 2: with Todd blanch Center and more of what you had
- 16:05Speaker 2: to say at his confirmation. Here's the last part. It's
- 16:09Speaker 2: truly amazing to see Democrats fighting against this incredible guy
- 16:13Speaker 2: who's going to be a great ag.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Robberies fell nearly twenty percent, Aggravated assaults felt nearly ten percent,
- 16:19Speaker 3: and that trend has continued into this year, with homicides
- 16:24Speaker 3: falling by yet another seventeen point seven percent and robberies
- 16:28Speaker 3: by over twenty percent during the first quarter of twenty
- 16:31Speaker 3: twenty six.
- 16:31Speaker 4: Is that right?
- 16:32Speaker 9: It is yes.
- 16:34Speaker 3: The Department has also made protecting America's children one of
- 16:38Speaker 3: its highest priorities since the beginning of this administration. The
- 16:41Speaker 3: FBI is located approximately seven thousand, two hundred child victims,
- 16:47Speaker 3: a forty two percent increase.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Is that right?
- 16:50Speaker 3: Yes, the FBI has arrested approximately three thousand, five hundred
- 16:55Speaker 3: child predators and human traffickers, a one hundred and two
- 16:58Speaker 3: percent increase. Is that right?
- 17:00Speaker 9: That's correct?
- 17:01Speaker 1: By April alone.
- 17:02Speaker 3: In April alone, Operation Iron Pursuit located more than two
- 17:06Speaker 3: hundred child victims and arrested more than three hundred and
- 17:09Speaker 3: fifty alleged child sex abuse offenders. Is that right?
- 17:13Speaker 9: That's right?
- 17:14Speaker 3: And across my home state of Texas, Operation Soteria Shield
- 17:18Speaker 3: rescued eighty nine children and resulted in two hundred and
- 17:22Speaker 3: seventy six child exploitation arrests. Is that right?
- 17:25Speaker 9: That's the correct stat Mister Blanche.
- 17:29Speaker 3: After late less than eighteen months, would it be fair
- 17:32Speaker 3: to say that the Department is once again focused on
- 17:35Speaker 3: protecting the American people and faithfully enacting the laws.
- 17:40Speaker 9: That's exactly what we're focused on, Sunder, and I.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Will point out that one direct result of that also
- 17:46Speaker 3: is deaths by drug overdoses have dropped twenty percent. There
- 17:51Speaker 3: are literally thousands of Americans who are alive today because
- 17:56Speaker 3: of the job you and your colleagues at the Department
- 17:58Speaker 3: of Justice are doing. For one want to say thank
- 18:01Speaker 3: you for focusing the Department on saving people's lives and
- 18:05Speaker 3: putting criminals in jail.
- 18:07Speaker 9: We have great prosecutor, Centator, and great agents.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Senator, We've got great agents. I do love the demeanor
- 18:13Speaker 2: of Toddy Blanche. I think that's the reason why he
- 18:15Speaker 2: will be a great attorney general.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and look the Democrats, not a single Democrat disputed
- 18:21Speaker 3: a word I said. They didn't dispute the chaos of
- 18:23Speaker 3: the open borders. They didn't dispute that this administration has
- 18:28Speaker 3: secured the border, that illegal border crossings are down ninety
- 18:30Speaker 3: nine percent, that the murder rate is down twenty percent,
- 18:32Speaker 3: the drug overdose deaths are down twenty percent. They can't
- 18:35Speaker 3: dispute any of that, So instead they just scream how
- 18:38Speaker 3: much they hate Trump. And I'll tell you look that
- 18:42Speaker 3: at the end of the day, it was a bad
- 18:44Speaker 3: hearing for the Democrats because none of them laid a
- 18:46Speaker 3: glove on Todd Blanche. And I think he's going to
- 18:48Speaker 3: end up being confirmed quickly. There was another hearing this
- 18:54Speaker 3: past week in Capitol Hill where Chris Wright, the Secretary
- 18:57Speaker 3: of Energy, a very good friend of mine, was testifying,
- 19:00Speaker 3: and he was testifying about the shocking revelation that the
- 19:05Speaker 3: Biden administration in the last two months of the administration
- 19:10Speaker 3: between election Day and when Trump was sworn in, shoveled
- 19:14Speaker 3: ninety three billion dollars out of the Department of Energy,
- 19:20Speaker 3: mostly to left wing cronies. My very good friend John
- 19:23Speaker 3: Kennedy questioned him on this. Listen to this questioning, because
- 19:26Speaker 3: you know what, the corporate media did not play this
- 19:29Speaker 3: for you, so you don't know that these utterly corrupt criminals.
- 19:34Speaker 3: And there's no other way to put it. When you're
- 19:36Speaker 3: ninety three billion dollars is more than twice as much
- 19:40Speaker 3: as the Department of Justice had the Department of Energy
- 19:43Speaker 3: had put out in fifteen years. They did that in
- 19:48Speaker 3: seventy six days. Give a listen, mister suck Kerry.
- 19:51Speaker 4: I want to go back to some of your earlier testimony.
- 19:54Speaker 4: Be sure I heard it correctly. The seventy six day
- 19:57Speaker 4: period you're talking about, that's the period between the time
- 20:02Speaker 4: that President Trump was elected and President Biden left office.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Is that right?
- 20:07Speaker 9: That is correct?
- 20:09Speaker 4: And during that short period of time seventy six days,
- 20:13Speaker 4: how much taxpayer money went out the door of the
- 20:16Speaker 4: Department of Energy.
- 20:17Speaker 1: From the Loan Program Office in loans and commitments ninety
- 20:21Speaker 1: three billion dollars, well over twice as much as in
- 20:26Speaker 1: the previous fifteen years.
- 20:28Speaker 4: So how do you vet and do due diligence on
- 20:33Speaker 4: a loan in seventy six days one loan, much less
- 20:40Speaker 4: ninety three billion dollars?
- 20:43Speaker 1: How do you do it? I think it's probably pretty
- 20:46Speaker 1: clear it wasn't done in many cases. As I mentioned,
- 20:50Speaker 1: I'm told I'm holding back clearly in place stuff. There
- 20:55Speaker 1: is lots of funds that have gone out the door,
- 20:58Speaker 1: and commitments that were made from businesses that provided no
- 21:02Speaker 1: business plan, no numbers about their own financial solvency or
- 21:06Speaker 1: how this project.
- 21:07Speaker 4: So you're telling me that the Department of Energy in
- 21:10Speaker 4: the seventy six day period before their boss was going
- 21:14Speaker 4: to leave office, gave our loan money to institutes that
- 21:18Speaker 4: had no business plan correct, no financials.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Correct. A number of those were not were before the
- 21:26Speaker 1: seventy six day period as Well's I've come in with
- 21:30Speaker 1: great concern about how this institution, this great American institution,
- 21:34Speaker 1: has been run and how American taxpayer money has been handled.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I'm sorry everyone's upset that we're taking some time to
- 21:42Speaker 1: do it, but what we've seen up a record shows,
- 21:45Speaker 1: I'm not upset.
- 21:46Speaker 4: Could it means a lot of people say you haven't
- 21:48Speaker 4: returned your calls. Could it be that you and your
- 21:52Speaker 4: your colleagues have returned the calls, but the people call
- 21:55Speaker 4: and just didn't like the answer. Could that be a possibility.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I'm not, I'm not. I'm not aware of that.
- 22:02Speaker 4: You know.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I give my cell phone number to any senator that
- 22:05Speaker 1: we wanted to do, and I return my calls.
- 22:08Speaker 4: I mean, is your is your department gone dark? Somebody
- 22:12Speaker 4: said your department's gone dark? Is it dark over there?
- 22:16Speaker 1: Doesn't look it doesn't look dark. Behind me, I don't.
- 22:19Speaker 4: See any of you sitting on your hands. Somebody made
- 22:22Speaker 4: that charge. I see everybody's hands. Let me ask you
- 22:26Speaker 4: something else's secretary does Does anybody ever come to the
- 22:31Speaker 4: Department of Energy to get some of this free money
- 22:36Speaker 4: and lie to you?
- 22:40Speaker 1: I have not experienced that, but I think it's a
- 22:44Speaker 1: reasonable assumption that that has happened.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Uh.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Does anybody ever come to you? Or is it conceivable
- 22:52Speaker 4: that some of these folks that heard about this free
- 22:54Speaker 4: money came to you with a half baked idea.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I think it's very conceivable. In fact, I've seen such
- 23:03Speaker 1: plans that were you think would be charitable.
- 23:06Speaker 4: That didn't have a business plan, right, correct?
- 23:10Speaker 1: A promise to develop one, to find a little give me.
- 23:14Speaker 4: The money and I'll develop the plan later.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Correct.
- 23:19Speaker 4: And now you're going back through not money that's already
- 23:25Speaker 4: been contracted, but you're going back through and checking each
- 23:29Speaker 4: one of these loans and these grants to make sure
- 23:32Speaker 4: there was no stealing, aren't you? We are we make
- 23:37Speaker 4: sure there was no incompetence, aren't you?
- 23:41Speaker 1: Is that correct? We're looking at that and yeah, my
- 23:44Speaker 1: blood pressure is rising right now just thinking about what
- 23:47Speaker 1: we have seen and what did happen anybody?
- 23:49Speaker 4: And you're going to tell some of these boondoggles no,
- 23:52Speaker 4: aren't you?
- 23:53Speaker 1: That's correct?
- 23:53Speaker 4: And they're going to be upset, aren't they?
- 23:55Speaker 1: That's correct?
- 23:56Speaker 4: And they ought to be upset, shouldn't they.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I don't think they should be upset. I think they
- 24:02Speaker 1: should be ashamed.
- 24:04Speaker 4: I am. It's rare that I'm speechless, but I want
- 24:10Speaker 4: to be sure I understood. The people running the Department
- 24:15Speaker 4: of Energy for President Biden's administration shoveled ninety three billion dollars,
- 24:24Speaker 4: not million, ninety three billion dollars out the door in
- 24:30Speaker 4: seventy six days, and it just happened to be the
- 24:34Speaker 4: time between when President Trump was elected and President Biden
- 24:38Speaker 4: their boss was leaving.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Is that right? It is correct and distasteful confidence undermining
- 24:49Speaker 1: my god, Senator.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I mean, you look at this money, and it's very
- 24:56Speaker 2: clear the Democratic Party knew what they were doing and
- 24:59Speaker 2: they funnel this money. How is this not illegal?
- 25:02Speaker 3: Well it may well have been illegal, and I think
- 25:04Speaker 3: there needs to be serious investigations that there's a cynicism. Look,
- 25:08Speaker 3: you're an appointee of Joe Biden in the Department of
- 25:11Speaker 3: Energy and your party loses Donald Trump gets reelected, the
- 25:14Speaker 3: American people reject your agenda. You know what you should do.
- 25:18Speaker 3: You should start packing your things up and get ready
- 25:21Speaker 3: to leave because the voters have spoken. All these Democrats
- 25:23Speaker 3: that love to beat their chest about democracy, that's what
- 25:27Speaker 3: you would do if you respected democracy. But they didn't.
- 25:30Speaker 3: They said, we got seventy six days, let's rob the
- 25:33Speaker 3: taxpayers blind, let's steal the computers, let's pull the curtains
- 25:39Speaker 3: off the rods. Ninety three billion dollars. To understand, that
- 25:45Speaker 3: is more than double the amount of money the Department
- 25:48Speaker 3: of Energy had sent out in the previous fifteen years combined.
- 25:53Speaker 3: That is Bonnie and Clyde bank robbery. That is the
- 25:57Speaker 3: corruption of the Biden administration. And it demonstrates an utter
- 26:02Speaker 3: contempt for the taxpayers, an utter contempt for the country,
- 26:07Speaker 3: a willingness to prioritize your political cronies over the nation.
- 26:11Speaker 3: And the people who did this need to be investigated
- 26:14Speaker 3: and if they broke the law, they need to go
- 26:16Speaker 3: to jail.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Senator, I want to start off this last segment by saying,
- 26:19Speaker 2: I don't ever want our government to be weaponized against
- 26:23Speaker 2: our political adversaries, and didn't to use the word enemy
- 26:25Speaker 2: Democrats use the word enemy to describe Republicans, I say adversaries.
- 26:30Speaker 2: But I do want to hold those accountable that are
- 26:33Speaker 2: actually doing corrupt things. And we now know a lot
- 26:37Speaker 2: more about the investigation and the Chinese Communist Party tycoon
- 26:41Speaker 2: Nevilroy Singham, and it should get a lot more attention
- 26:45Speaker 2: than it is right now. Certainly the media they are
- 26:47Speaker 2: looking the other way.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right. And you know, we ended the
- 26:51Speaker 3: last segment by talking about the need for accountability of
- 26:55Speaker 3: the corruption within the Biden administration, that those who broke
- 26:59Speaker 3: the law needs to be held to account, and on
- 27:02Speaker 3: this podcast, we have talked at great length about the
- 27:06Speaker 3: need to follow the money that these anti American efforts. Look,
- 27:10Speaker 3: if you look at all of the stories in today's pod,
- 27:12Speaker 3: they're interwoven the DSSA. There is clearly a funding stream
- 27:18Speaker 3: funding the anti Semitic protests on college campuses, funding the
- 27:22Speaker 3: communists tearing this country apart, funding the DSSA, funding the
- 27:26Speaker 3: Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA riots across the country, funding
- 27:29Speaker 3: the open border riots in LA and elsewhere. The money stream,
- 27:33Speaker 3: and what I've urged the Department of Justice, what I've
- 27:36Speaker 3: urged the FBI from the beginning of this second Trump administration.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Follow the money the people who are paying for this.
- 27:43Speaker 3: This is not organic when people carry out these acts
- 27:45Speaker 3: of violence. It's not organic. When you look at the
- 27:48Speaker 3: anti Semitic protests, the tents all match. Follow the money.
- 27:52Speaker 3: And then we in a previous podcast couple of weeks ago,
- 27:56Speaker 3: talked about the bombshell story that we've all seen the
- 28:00Speaker 3: rising sentiment against AI that on the left and the right,
- 28:04Speaker 3: suddenly people are saying, Gosh, I don't like AI. Shut
- 28:07Speaker 3: down data centers. Kathy Hocheld just this past couple of
- 28:10Speaker 3: weeks said, no data centers in New York and the
- 28:13Speaker 3: bombshell story that much of that is being paid for
- 28:17Speaker 3: by a communist named Neville Roy Singham who has deep
- 28:22Speaker 3: ties to the Chinese Communist Party. And listen, we're in
- 28:25Speaker 3: a race America and China to see who will develop
- 28:29Speaker 3: AI first. If China wins, it will put China in
- 28:32Speaker 3: a position to dominate the world economically. But also with
- 28:37Speaker 3: whichever country wins, the values of that country will dominate AI.
- 28:42Speaker 3: So if China wins, AI will be dominated by Communist
- 28:47Speaker 3: Party control and surveillance and propaganda and espionage. And I
- 28:53Speaker 3: think all of us want AI to instead reflect American values,
- 28:57Speaker 3: to reflect free speech, individual liberty, and free enterprise. Well,
- 29:03Speaker 3: a bit of good news, which is the Trump Department
- 29:06Speaker 3: of Justice is doing exactly that. It's following the money
- 29:09Speaker 3: and it's holding people to account. Let me read from
- 29:12Speaker 3: a story in CBS News, husband of Code Pink founder
- 29:15Speaker 3: being investigated under federal foreign agent and tax laws. Devilroy Singham,
- 29:20Speaker 3: the wealthy husband of the founder of the progressive nonprofit
- 29:23Speaker 3: Code Pink and the benefactor of far left political causes,
- 29:27Speaker 3: is under criminal investigation by a grand jury in the
- 29:30Speaker 3: Southern District of New York. According to multiple sources with
- 29:33Speaker 3: knowledge of the matter, the investigation began by looking into
- 29:37Speaker 3: possible violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act and has
- 29:40Speaker 3: since expanded into a criminal tax probe over whether the
- 29:44Speaker 3: money was unlawfully funneled through nonprofits he controls, and whether
- 29:49Speaker 3: he lied on the tax forms for those nonprofits. Known
- 29:53Speaker 3: as nine nineties, Singham is a major financial backer of
- 29:58Speaker 3: a New York City base nonprofit called The People's Forum,
- 30:02Speaker 3: a left leaning nonprofit that advocates for causes impacting the
- 30:06Speaker 3: working class and other marginalized groups. He's also the founder
- 30:10Speaker 3: of thought Works, an IT consulting company, and is married
- 30:13Speaker 3: to Jody Evans, co founder of the anti war group
- 30:16Speaker 3: Code Pink. Singham sold Thought Works to a private equity
- 30:21Speaker 3: firm in twenty seventeen for seven hundred and eighty five
- 30:26Speaker 3: million dollars. At around the same time, Singham moved his
- 30:30Speaker 3: business operations to Shanghai, China, and began funding a vast
- 30:35Speaker 3: global network of nonprofits and think tanks to the tune
- 30:40Speaker 3: of hundreds of millions of dollars. According to reports of
- 30:44Speaker 3: the Free Press in The New York Times, Singham moved
- 30:48Speaker 3: the funds through shell companies and other opaque entities, advancing
- 30:52Speaker 3: his brand of leftist politics while pushing pro Beijing messaging.
- 30:59Speaker 3: He injected had much of his own money into Code Pink,
- 31:02Speaker 3: funding up to a quarter of its operation. According to reports,
- 31:06Speaker 3: Soon Code Pink softened its stance on China, which had
- 31:10Speaker 3: previously been highly critical of Beijing's human rights policies. Among
- 31:15Speaker 3: other things, the group defended China against widespread reports its
- 31:19Speaker 3: government was committing genocide against a Muslim minority group in
- 31:23Speaker 3: the country's far northwest. So I and numerous other senators
- 31:28Speaker 3: of the Judiciary Committee have urged the Department of Justice
- 31:30Speaker 3: to look into this. Chuck Grassley wrote a letter urging
- 31:35Speaker 3: DOJ to do that. Here's what Grass's letter said, quote
- 31:38Speaker 3: evidence suggests that the People's Forum and Code Pink have
- 31:40Speaker 3: been funded and influenced by mister Nevill Roy Singham and
- 31:44Speaker 3: the Communist Chinese government, both of which are foreign principles.
- 31:48Speaker 3: The evidence also suggests that the People's Forum and Code
- 31:51Speaker 3: Pink have engaged in covered political activities that directly advanced
- 31:55Speaker 3: the Communist Chinese government's political and policy interest and by
- 32:00Speaker 3: the way, Nevilroy Singham's response to that is quote I
- 32:06Speaker 3: categorically deny and repudiate any suggestion that I am a
- 32:09Speaker 3: member of work for, take orders from, or follow instructions
- 32:12Speaker 3: of any political party or government or their representatives. I
- 32:16Speaker 3: am solely guided by my beliefs, which are long held
- 32:19Speaker 3: personal views. So well, there's going to be an investigation
- 32:22Speaker 3: into it. I don't know if this guy is just
- 32:25Speaker 3: a communist who hates American wants to destroy our nation,
- 32:28Speaker 3: or if he's a communist who hates American wants to
- 32:30Speaker 3: destroy our nation, who is working directly for and may
- 32:33Speaker 3: even be funded by the Chinese Communist government. That's one
- 32:36Speaker 3: of the things that I would imagine the investigation will
- 32:38Speaker 3: examine either way. I am very glad the Department of
- 32:42Speaker 3: Justice is examining the hundreds of millions of dollars he
- 32:46Speaker 3: is using to fund the people that are tearing our
- 32:50Speaker 3: country apart.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's the key thing there. And if you're
- 32:54Speaker 2: doing something that is illegal and it's coming in with
- 32:58Speaker 2: the Chinese Communist Party, why would anyone not want that
- 33:01Speaker 2: to be investigated If that's what the evidence is showing.
- 33:04Speaker 2: That's the core part here that I think matters for
- 33:06Speaker 2: all Americans.
- 33:08Speaker 3: You know, it's one of the things that is dangerous
- 33:10Speaker 3: in this world where we're on social media, where you
- 33:13Speaker 3: see things you're on X or Facebook or wherever you are,
- 33:16Speaker 3: and suddenly a lot of people seem concerned about something
- 33:19Speaker 3: and that can seem organic. And we are seeing more
- 33:22Speaker 3: and more paid foreign influence operations. And China puts a
- 33:26Speaker 3: lot of money into undermining America. Cutter puts a lot
- 33:30Speaker 3: of money into undermining America. Iran puts a lot of
- 33:33Speaker 3: money into undermining America. You know, there was a report
- 33:36Speaker 3: from the Bitcoin Policy Institute that says for the past
- 33:39Speaker 3: five years, nonprofits funded by Nevil Royce Singham have been
- 33:43Speaker 3: putting out papers opposing export controls on advanced semiconductors to China,
- 33:49Speaker 3: putting out newsletters quoting Chinese communist officials blasting America's approach
- 33:55Speaker 3: to technology, and articles characterizing US data center as fronts
- 34:00Speaker 3: in the quote new Cold War on China. And this
- 34:05Speaker 3: is a deliberate foreign influence effort that is targeting the
- 34:12Speaker 3: American economy. It's targeting AI, it's trying to get America
- 34:16Speaker 3: to stop leading an AI, and it's trying ultimately to
- 34:20Speaker 3: defeat capitalism and destroy our country. These it has the
- 34:24Speaker 3: exact same objectives as the DSA radicals that are taking
- 34:29Speaker 3: over the Democrat Party.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Also, don't forget we do the show as a podcast
- 34:32Speaker 2: three days a week, so make sure you hit subscriber
- 34:35Speaker 2: auto DOWLO wherever you're listening. And many of the shows
- 34:37Speaker 2: we also do on YouTube as well, so you can
- 34:39Speaker 2: watch the episodes there and the Center and I will
- 34:42Speaker 2: see you back here Wednesday morning.
