Let's do a quick review before we build on them. Luna: Okay, so መሄድ means 'to go' and መምጣት means 'to come'. Lucas: Exactly. And you remember how to say 'I go'? Luna: እሄዳለሁ. Lucas: Perfect. And 'I come'? Luna: እመጣለሁ. Lucas: Great. Now let's add places. Say 'I go to the market' — market is ገበያ. Luna: ወደ ገበያ እሄዳለሁ. Lucas: Awesome. And 'I come from home' — home is ቤት. Luna: ከቤት እመጣለሁ. Lucas: You're a natural. Now let's ask questions. 'Where are you going?' — ወዴት ትሄዳለህ? Luna: ወዴት ትሄዳለህ? Lucas: And 'Where are you coming from?' — ከየት ትመጣለህ? Luna: ከየት ትመጣለህ? That one's a bit longer. Lucas: You'll get it. Repeat after me: ከየት ትመጣለህ? Luna: ከየት ትመጣለህ? Lucas: Yes! Now let's do a little role-play. I'll ask you a question, you answer. Luna: Okay, I'm ready. Lucas: ወዴት ትሄዳለህ? Luna: ወደ ገበያ እሄዳለሁ. Lucas: Excellent. Now you ask me. Luna: ከየት ትመጣለህ? Lucas: ከቤት እመጣለሁ. See? You're having a real conversation. Luna: This is so cool. I feel like I could actually use this.
