- 0:00Speaker 1: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My daughter
- 0:03Speaker 1: is so organised, already planning Christmas gifts from Macaulay. Hair
- 0:07Speaker 1: care for her aunt and a fab fragrance for her bestie.
- 0:10Speaker 1: But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm
- 0:13Speaker 1: an early bird, buying one present a week from now
- 0:15Speaker 1: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy
- 0:18Speaker 1: in-store or online from Macaulay.ie for home delivery or free
- 0:22Speaker 1: click and collect.
- 0:23Speaker 2: So easy.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Gifts they'll cherish at prices you'll love.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. If you're watching this
- 0:33Speaker 2: on YouTube, you're going to see that I am wearing
- 0:36Speaker 2: some of my merch. This is a Housewife Consultant sweatshirt.
- 0:40Speaker 2: I have so much more. It's all at HeatherMcDonald.net. Of course,
- 0:43Speaker 2: you're going to see all my live dates there. And
- 0:46Speaker 2: this weekend, I will be with my guest. Yes, Chris
- 0:49Speaker 2: is on the show today. But he will also be
- 0:51Speaker 2: performing with me at Humphreys by the Bay in San
- 0:54Speaker 2: Diego this Saturday night, June 24th, along with the hilarious
- 0:58Speaker 2: Justin Martindale. You guys are so lucky you're going to
- 1:00Speaker 2: get the greatest show ever. Also such exciting news, everybody.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I've been waiting for this my whole life. It'll be
- 1:06Speaker 2: eight years, July 4th, that I've had Juicy Scoop. And
- 1:08Speaker 2: I have finally been nominated for an award for the
- 1:11Speaker 2: American Reality Television Awards. I don't know if this involves
- 1:16Speaker 2: anything in which I can get an address and call
- 1:19Speaker 2: Nikki Haskell to get one of her hidden star caps
- 1:22Speaker 2: so I can look my best. I don't know if
- 1:24Speaker 2: I have to start taking a shot to get ready
- 1:27Speaker 2: for this event because I'm pretty confident I'm going to
- 1:29Speaker 2: win because you juicy scoopers are going to vote for me.
- 1:32Speaker 2: This is how we do it. So you go to
- 1:33Speaker 2: the AmericanRealityTelevisionAwards.com, public vote. Then you put in your email
- 1:38Speaker 2: and then you go to the podcasting section. And I'm
- 1:41Speaker 2: about the seventh one down. How many are there? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I'm number seven, eight, nine. There's nine people nominated.
- 1:48Speaker 3: I am one of them. You vote for me and.
- 1:51Speaker 2: This will be so exciting. I have been working on
- 1:55Speaker 2: an acceptance speech since I was four for any award,
- 1:58Speaker 2: none of which I've never won an award in my life.
- 2:00Speaker 2: in which I can give an acceptance speech. So Chris
- 2:03Speaker 2: is here and we recorded it yesterday and we talked
- 2:05Speaker 2: about the missing submarine. I don't know what the fate
- 2:08Speaker 2: will be when you're listening to this, but this morning,
- 2:11Speaker 2: this is Wednesday morning, we did get some good news.
- 2:13Speaker 2: They are, now, as you know, there are five people,
- 2:17Speaker 2: two billionaires, one billionaire and his son and another billionaire
- 2:20Speaker 2: and I guess the crew, that went down to look
- 2:23Speaker 2: at the Titanic. They couldn't find them, but they are
- 2:25Speaker 2: hearing some ding, ding, dinging right around where the Titanic
- 2:28Speaker 2: is supposed to be, but it's so far down. Since then,
- 2:30Speaker 2: I've been obsessed. So hopefully they'll find them. As of now,
- 2:33Speaker 2: they have 12 hours left, I think, of oxygen. if
- 2:37Speaker 2: they don't find these people and are able to help
- 2:39Speaker 2: them in the next 12 hours. So it's just absolutely terrifying.
- 2:42Speaker 2: And I've watched of what it would be like. And
- 2:45Speaker 2: I watched this one TikTok where they're like, imagine there's
- 2:47Speaker 2: five people in the size of a minivan. All they
- 2:50Speaker 2: have is like a little toilet. Chances are, you know,
- 2:53Speaker 2: some people might be getting sick, which... would be horrible
- 2:57Speaker 2: to be in a small space with someone being sick.
- 2:59Speaker 2: They're probably panicking, probably for the first part, the captain
- 3:02Speaker 2: tried not to have the panic. There's been reports done
- 3:04Speaker 2: from a while ago of them saying you actually are
- 3:07Speaker 2: using it. What they're using as a controller is like
- 3:09Speaker 2: what my kids used as a controller like a few
- 3:12Speaker 2: years ago to play video games. It is insane. And
- 3:15Speaker 2: there's people talking about it here. This guy that is
- 3:18Speaker 2: known as Mr. Titanic, People Magazine said, you're dead before
- 3:22Speaker 2: you realize you're going to die when you go that
- 3:24Speaker 2: far down. I don't know if they make it. I
- 3:26Speaker 2: hope nobody ever, I hope we just put Titanic to rest.
- 3:29Speaker 2: and enjoy it at home watching the movie, and nobody
- 3:32Speaker 2: ever tries to go down there again. It is not
- 3:34Speaker 2: worth it. Meanwhile, this kid, his stepfather is one of
- 3:38Speaker 2: the billionaires missing on the submarine, and he is like, well,
- 3:43Speaker 2: my family would want me to be having fun, so
- 3:45Speaker 2: he went to the Blink-182 concert. I don't know what
- 3:48Speaker 2: his relationship is with his billion-dollar stepdad, but throughout history,
- 3:53Speaker 2: except for Joseph and Jesus, a lot of people didn't
- 3:56Speaker 2: like their stepfather. So I don't know if this kid
- 3:58Speaker 2: is like good riddance. I can't wait to see how
- 4:01Speaker 2: rich my mom's going to be after you're gone. I
- 4:02Speaker 2: don't know. I hope not. And I hope he just
- 4:04Speaker 2: enjoyed the concert. Maybe he was hoping to see Courtney
- 4:06Speaker 2: and her baby bump. I don't know, but that's what's
- 4:09Speaker 2: going on right now. All right, you guys, now let's
- 4:12Speaker 2: Get Chris Frangiolla here for you guys to enjoy the
- 4:15Speaker 2: rest of this juicy, fun episode as always. Heather MacDonald
- 4:21Speaker 2: has got the Juicy Scoop.

- 4:42Speaker 2: Listen in, listen up. Woo, woo. Heather MacDonald. Juicy Scoop. Hello,
- 4:51Speaker 2: and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have the original favorite,
- 4:55Speaker 2: old blue eyes, sparkling teeth.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Cute haircut. Summer fun sweatshirt, Chris Frangiola.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Summer fun sweatshirt. This is the sweatshirt I was telling
- 5:03Speaker 4: you about.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yes, the Malibu. To show that you are a rich
- 5:06Speaker 2: Malibu person.
- 5:07Speaker 4: You have to have this sweatshirt to be accepted in
- 5:09Speaker 4: beach towns or even down Orange County.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Oh, wait. Where's your hat?
- 5:14Speaker 4: Well, I want it. This is... Should I reveal it now?
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yes.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Okay. Well, I wanted to... get your advice because we've
- 5:22Speaker 4: had problems in the past about beach vacations. We had
- 5:26Speaker 4: a very famous beach vacation we took many years ago
- 5:29Speaker 4: in Cabo and I wore a bandana. It's a famous story.
- 5:33Speaker 4: You've told it many times.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I was ready to leave my husband for you until
- 5:37Speaker 2: I saw the bandana. And then I was like, no.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Well, I have a new one.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:41Speaker 4: That I bought on the way back from our shows
- 5:43Speaker 4: in Tempe. I drove and I stopped at a Love's
- 5:46Speaker 4: or one of those travel centers.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Well, so did we. And I just want to say.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:51Speaker 2: So Drake was charging up the Tesla and I went
- 5:53Speaker 2: into like the place.
- 5:54Speaker 3: I thought I was going to get us some food
- 5:56Speaker 3: at Wendy's.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 2: But I just saw some really weird, it was very crowded.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I just saw a lot of very strange situations.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah. And I just was like, you know what? I
- 6:06Speaker 2: think I can starve for another hour and a half.
- 6:09Speaker 2: until we got to La Quinta. And when I came back,
- 6:13Speaker 2: the car was gone. And I literally felt like Sandra
- 6:16Speaker 2: Bullock in that movie with Kiefer Sutherland, who lost his
- 6:20Speaker 2: girlfriend at one of those places. I don't remember the
- 6:23Speaker 2: name of the movie, but then I've talked about it before,
- 6:25Speaker 2: because it's haunted me anytime I've gone to a crowded
- 6:28Speaker 2: place where there's like a gas station and a couple
- 6:31Speaker 2: eating things and it's big. And anyway, in the movie,
- 6:36Speaker 2: she's like in the little convenience store and she sees
- 6:38Speaker 2: this guy's bracelet and she goes, oh, that's so cool.
- 6:42Speaker 3: My boyfriend would love something like, he goes, oh, I
- 6:44Speaker 3: have them in my car. I make them.
- 6:46Speaker 2: And so she's an adult and she goes over and
- 6:48Speaker 2: then he kidnaps her. And then Kiefer is stuck at
- 6:51Speaker 2: this place looking for her forever. So that all went
- 6:53Speaker 2: through my mind.
- 6:54Speaker 4: There's another, obviously the Kurt Russell one with the, there's
- 6:56Speaker 4: another one with Kurt Russell where his wife gets abducted,
- 7:00Speaker 4: like at a truck stop. And it's a great movie.
- 7:02Speaker 4: I think it's called Breakdown. I had to get broken
- 7:05Speaker 4: down on the side of the road.
- 7:06Speaker 2: So then I called Drake. I'm like, where are you?
- 7:09Speaker 3: He's like, oh, I went around the front to.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Pick you up. I'm like, get in the car now.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I'm like, get me right now. I'm like, it was
- 7:15Speaker 2: so freaky.
- 7:16Speaker 4: And you also said before we came to air, you
- 7:18Speaker 4: said the funniest thing. And I love this too. You
- 7:20Speaker 4: said there were two people looking at the menu.
- 7:23Speaker 2: There was a couple.
- 7:25Speaker 4: It was a Wendy's.
- 7:26Speaker 2: It was a Wendy's. There was a lesbian couple that
- 7:30Speaker 2: were all a little bit older. She was maybe 45
- 7:33Speaker 2: and her girlfriend was about 60.
- 7:36Speaker 3: And they were holding, they weren't in the line yet.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Because they were just perusing the menu and they were
- 7:42Speaker 2: looking up at the wedding's menu all over each other
- 7:45Speaker 2: like they were in Capri for the first time right
- 7:47Speaker 2: they were literally it went on and making out and
- 7:50Speaker 2: they're like stop it no you get that and.
- 7:52Speaker 4: I'm like It's my favorite when you see people looking
- 7:56Speaker 4: at the menus of these places that have been the
- 7:58Speaker 4: same menu for many, forever. Wendy's, McDonald's. Also, get in line.
- 8:03Speaker 2: There's already eight people ahead of you. You're going to
- 8:05Speaker 2: have enough time to decide.
- 8:06Speaker 4: I was at, I think, like, tell me about the
- 8:10Speaker 4: chicken strips. And the person behind the counter was like,
- 8:12Speaker 4: I'm sorry, what? Like, they wanted to, like, they're in, like, Capri.
- 8:16Speaker 4: They're like, uh, they're chicken strips.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I'm like.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Don't you get it?
- 8:20Speaker 2: Well, Wendy's didn't even have chicken strips. They had nuggets,
- 8:23Speaker 2: which didn't excite me as much as a strip.
- 8:25Speaker 4: I know.
- 8:26Speaker 2: They did have something like this jalapeno. Oh, they had
- 8:29Speaker 2: ghost pepper sandwich.
- 8:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Real spicy for the Arizona fun. I don't know.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I haven't been to Wendy's in so long, but I left.
- 8:37Speaker 4: I left.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I got scared, and I was like, I don't want this.
- 8:41Speaker 4: When you start doing road trips like we do, you
- 8:43Speaker 4: get into desert country, and that's a different world out there.
- 8:47Speaker 4: They're in between the Tempe's and the LA's. There's desert country.
- 8:51Speaker 4: They lived by their own rules.
- 8:53Speaker 2: And then you go down. You're going to the highway.
- 8:55Speaker 3: You just see a house.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Where they could see the freeway and there's nothing else
- 8:59Speaker 2: around it. And you're like, what made you decide, like,
- 9:02Speaker 2: I'm going to build this house right here because I
- 9:04Speaker 2: just want to hop on the freeway really quick.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Like, you didn't want to be any closer to anybody else?
- 9:09Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a meth lab. Because when it explodes, then
- 9:13Speaker 4: I want it to hit the shrapnel to hit the
- 9:15Speaker 4: other homes.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Oh, that's considerate. Nothing like a considerate meth dealer.
- 9:21Speaker 4: All right.
- 9:22Speaker 2: So show me what you bought. Oh, yeah.
- 9:24Speaker 4: So I wanted now... This is the whole, it's a
- 9:27Speaker 4: whole thing, okay?
- 9:29Speaker 2: It's a whole what?
- 9:29Speaker 4: I'm going to vacation in a couple of weeks.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Yes.
- 9:32Speaker 4: Out into the Montauk area, you know?
- 9:34Speaker 2: So she.
- 9:35Speaker 4: And I have to do, you know, at this certain age,
- 9:38Speaker 4: you got to do more sun protection than just a
- 9:40Speaker 4: baseball hat.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Yes.
- 9:41Speaker 4: And I can't wear like the big landscaper hat.
- 9:43Speaker 5: Yes.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Because it looks a little ridiculous.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:45Speaker 4: So at the Loves, outside of Tempe, I bought this.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:50Speaker 4: $ 20. Okay. And I think this might be what I'm
- 9:52Speaker 4: going to wear throughout the week. Montauk.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Okay, ready? Can I pull this off?
- 10:00Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Here. No, wait a minute. Let me give you the scenario.
- 10:04Speaker 4: All right. I don't know if you're... Is this laughter?
- 10:08Speaker 4: Wait a minute. There's more to it. This is a
- 10:12Speaker 4: bad sign. There's events.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Chris.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Do I look like.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Chris.
- 10:16Speaker 4: You look.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Wait, wait.
- 10:23Speaker 2: All right. Can I tell you what you look like?
- 10:24Speaker 4: Yes, okay.
- 10:25Speaker 2: You look like Clint Eastwood. A real racist Clint Eastwood.
- 10:30Speaker 2: But he's actually a really good guy deep down inside.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Wait, okay. So that's not a bad thing, I don't think.
- 10:40Speaker 2: No, because he's just racist because he's so old.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:44Speaker 2: But you look old because... Because maybe if you get
- 10:48Speaker 2: that eyebrow pencil from your wife.
- 10:50Speaker 4: I have a pencil. I have my own.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Can I see it with sunglasses?
- 10:53Speaker 4: That's what I was going to do.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I think I might see it.
- 10:56Speaker 4: You think I look racist now. Wait till you see this. Okay.
- 11:01Speaker 4: All right. How are we getting better?
- 11:03Speaker 2: Much better.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Okay. So if you wear it, it has to be
- 11:06Speaker 2: with sunglasses.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Of course it would be with sunglasses.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Well, I didn't know that before.
- 11:09Speaker 4: You know, I'm at a beach bar. It's the afternoon.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Is this making any sense?
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it is.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Okay.
- 11:15Speaker 3: But you've got to keep the sunglasses on.
- 11:17Speaker 6: Of course.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Sunglasses off. I look like it's my first day at
- 11:21Speaker 4: a gay bar, and I don't know. Someone told me,
- 11:24Speaker 4: dress like a cowboy.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Oh, my God. I saw a TikTok, and they go,
- 11:27Speaker 2: first day of tidal wave.
- 11:30Speaker 4: What's that?
- 11:30Speaker 2: And that is enormous bears that get together in Las
- 11:35Speaker 2: Vegas at a pool. Oh. And I guess they call
- 11:38Speaker 2: it tidal wave because if they're all in the pool together,
- 11:40Speaker 2: I guess a lot of water would spill out.
- 11:42Speaker 3: But first when I saw it, I just saw it
- 11:44Speaker 3: tidal wave.
- 11:45Speaker 2: And I just saw all these like men, I just
- 11:48Speaker 2: thought they were, you know, what happens when you're heterosexual,
- 11:52Speaker 2: you know, and you just don't care and you've gotten fat.
- 11:55Speaker 2: But then I started to look at the video and
- 11:57Speaker 2: I'm like, God, there's no girls? And then I saw
- 12:00Speaker 2: a couple bigger guys kissing. And then they said, oh
- 12:04Speaker 2: my God, Tidal Wave is so much fun. It's like
- 12:08Speaker 2: once a year, Tidal Wave.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Thankfully, I'm not. I don't have any... I love that
- 12:14Speaker 4: people do things like that. I respect that there are
- 12:17Speaker 4: people who are so into one thing that they'll go
- 12:20Speaker 4: to the convention of it.
- 12:22Speaker 2: But I have to say, in the world of TikTok
- 12:24Speaker 2: of today, there has got to be one woman... That
- 12:28Speaker 2: this got on her For You page just like me.
- 12:30Speaker 4: And went?
- 12:31Speaker 2: No, and saw her husband. There's no way every single
- 12:34Speaker 2: one of those bigger guys is living, in my opinion,
- 12:39Speaker 2: an out life.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Okay.
- 12:41Speaker 2: A couple of them have got to be like truckers
- 12:43Speaker 2: or carpenters. convention guys a little bit of a Brokeback
- 12:47Speaker 2: Mountain situation, in my opinion. And now they've been outed
- 12:51Speaker 2: on the tidal wave.
- 12:52Speaker 4: This is Brokeback, hot Brokeback Mountain, ready? Like this hot,
- 12:55Speaker 4: if you do this. And then you do this, like
- 12:58Speaker 4: dopey deputy. Yeah, yeah.
- 13:03Speaker 2: For you, just sunglasses all the time. Okay.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Because I don't want to get skin cancer either.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:09Speaker 4: That's what I'm trying to avoid at this later age.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Let's talk about this crazy story about the submarine. So
- 13:17Speaker 2: this submarine, which by the way, I just came across
- 13:21Speaker 2: a video of a reporter reporting on this five months
- 13:24Speaker 2: ago in which he was chuckling to the person putting
- 13:27Speaker 2: it together and of how poorly this was made. Like, yeah,
- 13:32Speaker 2: the guy goes, oh, I got this from a camping
- 13:34Speaker 2: store and I got this and it's run like this
- 13:36Speaker 2: and the only way to get out of it is
- 13:37Speaker 2: for someone to open it from the outside. And they're charging,
- 13:42Speaker 2: they charge $ 250, 000. The submarine is owned by Ocean Gate Expeditions.
- 13:49Speaker 2: It's gone missing. It's supposed to go all the way
- 13:51Speaker 2: down 12,000 square feet so you can look at the
- 13:55Speaker 2: actual Titanic.
- 13:59Speaker 4: And two of the richest men in the world were
- 14:01Speaker 4: on it. It's still gone. They haven't found it.
- 14:03Speaker 2: One of the billionaires and his son, and I looked,
- 14:06Speaker 2: I don't know how old the son is, but it
- 14:07Speaker 2: was a billionaire and a son. I don't know if
- 14:09Speaker 2: they count as two billionaires or if there's another billionaire.
- 14:13Speaker 4: There was an English billionaire, I believe, and a Pakistani billionaire.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Okay, the Pakistani is the one who brought his son there.
- 14:18Speaker 2: And $ 250, 000 typically lasts for eight, wait, the trips cost
- 14:22Speaker 2: up to $ 250, 000 and typically lasts for eight days. Yeah.
- 14:28Speaker 2: With dives to the Titanic taking up to 10 hours.
- 14:32Speaker 2: So they're now saying that, you know, there's no way.
- 14:36Speaker 4: No, it's got to be.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I just realized this is going to be totally old
- 14:39Speaker 2: news by the time.
- 14:40Speaker 4: No, it's all right. But it's still an interesting story.
- 14:43Speaker 3: So probably by the time you heard this. Yeah. We
- 14:46Speaker 3: probably have never recovered.
- 14:47Speaker 4: We're taping in advance a little bit.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Yes.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:50Speaker 2: But I will just... I mean, nothing, I don't even,
- 14:55Speaker 2: when I was a little girl, I didn't even like
- 14:56Speaker 2: to go in the submarine at Disneyland. There was a
- 14:59Speaker 2: submarine thing and it would take you down and then
- 15:01Speaker 2: you'd see a mermaid. I don't like that, I don't
- 15:05Speaker 2: like this feeling of being underneath the water without being
- 15:08Speaker 2: able to get to the top. Whenever there's like a submarine.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Even submarine movies like Crimson Tide or Das Boot or whatever,
- 15:15Speaker 4: I mean, it's scary just watching those movies and having
- 15:18Speaker 4: to live there.
- 15:19Speaker 2: I don't care how rich I am. I don't need
- 15:21Speaker 2: to see the Titanic. We've seen it a million times.
- 15:24Speaker 2: You can watch the movie.
- 15:25Speaker 4: This is like what you were saying about Tidal Wave.
- 15:27Speaker 2: But there's not even like a window on it. They
- 15:30Speaker 2: literally are watching it from inside on a video screen.
- 15:34Speaker 4: This thing out here- Oh, you don't get out to die? Oh,
- 15:36Speaker 4: I guess you can.
- 15:37Speaker 3: No, you can't get out, but there's.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Not even circles of glass so that you can see
- 15:41Speaker 2: with your own eyes up close. You're actually just watching
- 15:44Speaker 2: the video. Yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 2: You know, we were, when I was with my girlfriends
- 15:48Speaker 2: in Kona- She said there was an open, there was
- 15:51Speaker 2: an active volcano. And she goes, would you guys want
- 15:53Speaker 2: to go on a helicopter and see that? And I'm like,
- 15:57Speaker 2: I don't know. Like, we're only here for one more day.
- 15:59Speaker 2: We're at this beautiful resort that my friend lives at.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm done, like, doing activities, right? Yeah.
- 16:04Speaker 3: But I'm like, well, whatever.
- 16:06Speaker 2: So she calls and.
- 16:08Speaker 3: they say, oh, we have two spots. I'm like, good. Lainey, Liz,
- 16:12Speaker 3: you guys go.
- 16:13Speaker 2: I don't care. I'm like, because every time I've done
- 16:15Speaker 2: a helicopter, which maybe I've done it like five times
- 16:18Speaker 2: in my life, I don't look back and be like,
- 16:20Speaker 2: remember when we were on the helicopter? It's just not
- 16:22Speaker 2: one of those things that I'm super excited about. So
- 16:24Speaker 2: then she calls and they're like, oh, it's 625 a person.
- 16:27Speaker 2: I'm like, definitely not for me. You guys go. And
- 16:30Speaker 2: then she's like, do I want to leave? And I go, listen,
- 16:32Speaker 2: why don't I just go on my phone and look
- 16:36Speaker 2: up Kona Volcano helicopter videos.
- 16:41Speaker 3: And that's what we're going to see.
- 16:42Speaker 2: We're going to see what someone filmed even better. And
- 16:45Speaker 2: I'm just like, I hate to be that person, but
- 16:47Speaker 2: I'm like, why?
- 16:47Speaker 4: I mean, you can say that about everything. You can.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Just look it up on, yeah.
- 16:51Speaker 2: I know. Even Drake has been like, why do people
- 16:53Speaker 2: go to concerts when you can just hear the music
- 16:56Speaker 2: much better and no one's shoving you?
- 16:58Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, Grandpa, you've got to like.
- 17:00Speaker 2: But this- Okay, I don't want to, yeah, and I definitely,
- 17:04Speaker 2: I don't care how rich I want to be, I
- 17:06Speaker 2: never want to go to space, ever.
- 17:08Speaker 4: No, okay.
- 17:09Speaker 2: I'm more scared of being lost at space than lost
- 17:12Speaker 2: under the sea.
- 17:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I guess I'd rather be lost at space.
- 17:17Speaker 4: I think I would choose space as well.
- 17:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 4: I mean, they both seem horrible.
- 17:20Speaker 5: Horrible.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:21Speaker 4: But sea, you know, like drowning just feels like a lot.
- 17:26Speaker 3: But imagine you're the wife of.
- 17:28Speaker 2: And now your billionaire husband and your son, gone.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Because they had to do the one thing that nobody
- 17:34Speaker 3: else did.
- 17:34Speaker 4: Two years later, when you come back and you've married
- 17:37Speaker 4: Chris Noth, remember? Castaway. He shows back up and Helen
- 17:43Speaker 4: Hunt is remarried to Mr.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Big.
- 17:45Speaker 4: I totally forget that he's in that movie. I've seen
- 17:47Speaker 4: it a thousand times. And I always forget until the
- 17:50Speaker 4: end that it's Mr. Big that she remarried.
- 17:52Speaker 2: There's a show on Netflix called Manifest. That I started
- 17:56Speaker 2: to watch and then halfway, like after four episodes on
- 17:58Speaker 2: the plane, I'm like, I don't need to watch any
- 18:00Speaker 2: more of this corny shit. But basically, it's kind of corny,
- 18:03Speaker 2: but they go on a plane. Oh, yeah.
- 18:06Speaker 3: And it must have been inspired by the Malaysia thing.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:08Speaker 2: And then they land and everyone's like, okay, we got
- 18:12Speaker 2: to put you over here. And they're like, what's going on? Right.
- 18:15Speaker 2: And they're like, you, your plane went missing five years ago. Yeah.
- 18:19Speaker 2: And so nobody knows if it's aliens, God related, and
- 18:22Speaker 2: all these weird stuff starts happening. But the one guy
- 18:24Speaker 2: comes home and he's, The wife is, like, happy to
- 18:27Speaker 2: see him, but at the same time, she, like, had
- 18:29Speaker 2: this other boyfriend she was boning the whole time.
- 18:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:32Speaker 2: And.
- 18:32Speaker 4: I mean, eventually, you've got to move on.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:35Speaker 4: Both... I think we've talked about this before, but Helen
- 18:37Speaker 4: Hunt must have had, for a short period there, must
- 18:40Speaker 4: have had in her contract, there must be a wet
- 18:44Speaker 4: T-shirt scene.
- 18:45Speaker 7: She.
- 18:46Speaker 4: because she did it.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Not a looker in the face, let's be honest.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Well, I mean, you know, she did the best with
- 18:52Speaker 4: what she had.
- 18:52Speaker 2: And the best what she had is she got a
- 18:54Speaker 2: boob job about second season of Mad About You, and
- 18:56Speaker 2: she was proud of those titties.
- 18:57Speaker 4: And then when she did that Jack Nicholson movie.
- 19:00Speaker 3: She had to go running in the rain with no bra.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Also does it in Castaway.
- 19:05Speaker 2: And she also was in, they put her in a
- 19:06Speaker 2: movie where it was hailing hard.
- 19:08Speaker 4: Oh.
- 19:10Speaker 2: It was a tornado thing. Yeah, yeah. And that was
- 19:12Speaker 2: another one.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Twister. She was, yes, that's right. Once again, wet t-shirt.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. I just saw a girl on the red carpet.
- 19:20Speaker 2: I don't have a photo of it right here.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Full, just now, just a sheer thing.
- 19:26Speaker 2: No bra, nothing. Just full nips and just a G-string
- 19:29Speaker 2: red carpet outfit.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:31Speaker 4: What happened to wet t-shirt contests? They feel like a thing.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Of the past. I was asked to be in a
- 19:35Speaker 2: wet t-shirt contest when I was in Cancun freshman spring break.
- 19:40Speaker 7: Really?
- 19:41Speaker 2: But they didn't call it a wet t-shirt. They called
- 19:44Speaker 2: it a tan contest. Like, who's the tannest?
- 19:46Speaker 4: Oh, but they sprayed your shirt down.
- 19:49Speaker 2: No, I think maybe they just said, just get in
- 19:50Speaker 2: your bikini or whatever.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Oh, so it wasn't a t-shirt spray you down.
- 19:54Speaker 2: No, I made my friend go because I was like,
- 19:58Speaker 2: and they're like, no, you should do it.
- 20:00Speaker 3: I'm like, but I'm not that tan. I didn't realize
- 20:02Speaker 3: it's one of my titties out there.
- 20:03Speaker 2: But like, I was like, no, my friend's tanner and
- 20:05Speaker 2: she was flat, but she was real tan.
- 20:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 20:07Speaker 4: Did she win?
- 20:08Speaker 5: No.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:10Speaker 4: That's unfortunate.
- 20:11Speaker 2: This hot, like, Asian girl one.
- 20:14Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:14Speaker 2: And she was tan.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:15Speaker 4: And she had big tits. They have melanonin or whatever
- 20:18Speaker 4: it is.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Melanin. This is funny. Leonardo DiCaprio's a super fan almost
- 20:22Speaker 2: drowned trying to swim out to his yacht. I mean.
- 20:26Speaker 4: I feel like the billionaires on that thing we were
- 20:29Speaker 4: just talking about, to go down and see the Titanic,
- 20:32Speaker 4: and like you said, you don't really see it. And
- 20:34Speaker 4: if you have that much money, you probably could have
- 20:36Speaker 4: just paid... You could have had dinner with DiCaprio and
- 20:39Speaker 4: Kate Winslet for probably the same price.
- 20:43Speaker 2: God, you're so right.
- 20:44Speaker 4: And it would have felt like the same thing. I
- 20:46Speaker 4: feel like I'm on the Titanic.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Yeah, tell me about the filming of it. You're totally right.
- 20:51Speaker 4: I feel like that would be more fun.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Totally more fun.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Yeah, so... Unless.
- 20:56Speaker 2: This billionaire, which I said, I don't know how old
- 20:58Speaker 2: the son was, unless the son was like 12. And
- 21:01Speaker 2: he was like, oh, I've got the coolest thing to
- 21:03Speaker 2: take my son to. Yeah. We just watched Titanic on
- 21:06Speaker 2: TV together. And now I'm going to take, you know.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Yeah. But all these crazy things, just like.
- 21:13Speaker 4: I know.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Stay put.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Stay put.
- 21:16Speaker 2: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 21:19Speaker 2: for it?
- 21:19Speaker 6: This exclusive place that Dad has connections with. they have
- 21:22Speaker 6: more cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 21:25Speaker 2: You have to put me in touch what's it called it's.
- 21:27Speaker 6: Dune adl where dune adl there's an accent on the
- 21:33Speaker 6: e do you mean yes i got it on done
- 21:36Speaker 6: deal cars lift please you're going past oh kimmage no
- 21:42Speaker 6: done deal cars you couldn't possibly go.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Anywhere else I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Each week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary
- 21:51Speaker 5: people who have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have
- 21:56Speaker 5: found a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:59Speaker 6: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 22:02Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 22:05Speaker 2: filed against me.
- 22:06Speaker 4: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 22:08Speaker 4: what would you do if it was given back?
- 22:10Speaker 5: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 22:13Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 22:16Speaker 4: He said, I have a work dad.
- 22:17Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 22:18Speaker 4: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 22:23Speaker 5: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 22:26Speaker 5: go through.
- 22:27Speaker 4: It's about what happens next.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 22:32Speaker 2: every day was. You're worth the work.
- 22:33Speaker 4: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 22:35Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 22:38Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 22:41Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 22:52Speaker 2: Okay, you know these little fun things where people go
- 22:54Speaker 2: in these big balls and you're supposed to run in them? Again,
- 22:57Speaker 2: not something I'd be into. I think I'd get a
- 22:58Speaker 2: little claustrophobic. So this kid in Liverpool, a strong wind
- 23:05Speaker 2: came and he flew up in the sky and he's okay.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Oh, good.
- 23:10Speaker 2: But he was in one of those balls like at
- 23:11Speaker 2: a park and then it went somewhere else and then
- 23:14Speaker 2: eventually it popped and he's okay.
- 23:16Speaker 6: Oh.
- 23:16Speaker 2: But of course it reminded me of- Not Bubble Boy,
- 23:22Speaker 2: the fake. No, it was in like a UFO thing.
- 23:27Speaker 2: It was in the foil.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Balloon Boy, that's what I was trying to say.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Okay, so this story was at the beginning of reality TV,
- 23:34Speaker 2: so this would have been like 2007 or something.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Everyone was like, oh, my God.
- 23:39Speaker 2: And it looked like a Jiffy Pop. Yeah.
- 23:43Speaker 3: It looked like foil, like UFO balloon thing.
- 23:47Speaker 2: And this guy was, I'm an inventor, and I was
- 23:49Speaker 2: trying to invent a big thing that would look like
- 23:52Speaker 2: a UFO. And somehow my little kid hopped in, and
- 23:55Speaker 2: now it's out and flying around.
- 23:57Speaker 4: I remember. We were on Chelsea Lely at the time.
- 24:00Speaker 4: I remember watching it live in the writer's room. All
- 24:04Speaker 4: the news channels had picked it up. It was floating
- 24:06Speaker 4: through the air.
- 24:07Speaker 2: And I mean, as a mom of young boys at
- 24:09Speaker 2: the time, I totally believed this could happen. And I
- 24:11Speaker 2: was just horrified. Like, how are they going to catch it? Like,
- 24:15Speaker 2: do you get a plane? Do you get a helicopter? Like,
- 24:17Speaker 2: what do you do? Is it eventually going to come down?
- 24:20Speaker 2: And then they somehow gets it down or something. And
- 24:25Speaker 2: the kid is like, I'm OK. And then they're interviewing
- 24:28Speaker 2: him and he slips, the little kid, that he lied.
- 24:32Speaker 2: That the dad told him to say that he did
- 24:34Speaker 2: this and he never actually was in it.
- 24:36Speaker 4: In the interview he says, you told me to say
- 24:37Speaker 4: that or something.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Right, yeah. And then they realize that he was just
- 24:41Speaker 2: trying to get on a reality show and was trying
- 24:44Speaker 2: to get press. So like, oh my God, this is
- 24:46Speaker 2: a crazy inventing dad. Now we know about his inventing stuff.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Let's give him a TV show.
- 24:52Speaker 4: And all he would have had to do was suck
- 24:54Speaker 4: Ray J's dick. And he could have been. He didn't
- 24:59Speaker 4: need a balloon.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right.
- 25:02Speaker 4: Yeah. Which is much easier, honestly.
- 25:05Speaker 2: This girl, Bebe Rexha. This is horrible.
- 25:09Speaker 3: I know.
- 25:09Speaker 2: This guy threw.
- 25:11Speaker 3: They just found out who he was.
- 25:12Speaker 2: He threw a phone at her. It hit her in
- 25:15Speaker 2: the face.
- 25:16Speaker 4: And she got like.
- 25:16Speaker 2: A bruise and a cut. And it was towards the
- 25:19Speaker 2: end of the show. Yeah. And she had to take off.
- 25:21Speaker 3: They caught the guy.
- 25:21Speaker 2: And he goes, I just thought it'd be funny. I
- 25:23Speaker 2: just wanted to see if I could hit her. And
- 25:25Speaker 2: I did. So he's been arrested. He's 27. He was
- 25:28Speaker 2: at the concert. Some dude. I was like, what?
- 25:31Speaker 3: I want to see if I like absolutely horrible.
- 25:33Speaker 2: And I guess she said she's been shamed a lot
- 25:35Speaker 2: for she's been body shamed and age shamed. I'm like,
- 25:38Speaker 2: how old is she?
- 25:39Speaker 6: 33.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Why is she age?
- 25:41Speaker 2: I guess I think that's too old to be like
- 25:43Speaker 2: our former. I'm shocked. Yeah. But I mean, I've never
- 25:48Speaker 2: had anything thrown at me on stage.
- 25:51Speaker 4: No, I can't think of that. Thank God.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Yeah. I've had other females say that like a beer
- 25:56Speaker 2: has been chucked at their heads. Yeah.
- 25:58Speaker 4: And they've had to like– I've seen it.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I've seen it too.
- 26:02Speaker 4: I think like singers get it a lot more. Yeah.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Like comedians.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it would be terrible if this had thrown things
- 26:09Speaker 4: at comedians.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I misplaced my phone yesterday at Eureka in the village
- 26:13Speaker 2: and I was terrified. Like I would never– of all
- 26:16Speaker 2: the things to chuck– I think a cell phone. I
- 26:18Speaker 2: would rather chuck a baby than my phone. Because it's
- 26:22Speaker 2: a bigger deal to try to get that phone back.
- 26:24Speaker 2: I don't even know where to begin. I'm like, I
- 26:27Speaker 2: don't even know where to begin if my phone was gone.
- 26:30Speaker 4: I think you just start over. You just have a
- 26:32Speaker 4: whole new life. Start a new life. New friends, new everything.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Literally, if I lost my phone, I'd be so scared
- 26:37Speaker 2: to tell Peter that I lost my phone that I
- 26:39Speaker 2: probably would just like.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Just pretend you haven't.
- 26:41Speaker 2: No, I just think I would just pack up and
- 26:42Speaker 2: call it a day. Yeah. Just leave my home, leave
- 26:45Speaker 2: my marriage. I don't even know where to be. I
- 26:47Speaker 2: just don't even know where to begin.
- 26:48Speaker 4: With my life. Well, you then... This would be a
- 26:50Speaker 4: perfect opportunity to segue into this next topic, which I brought.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Oh, wait. Let me make sure I have it up.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Which one is it?
- 26:57Speaker 4: Dating in your 40s.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Oh, well, first, let me tell you this one. Let
- 27:01Speaker 2: me tell you this one. Okay. This poor girl... This
- 27:05Speaker 2: newly divorced mom was scammed of her entire $ 100, 000 401k
- 27:09Speaker 2: savings in a Tinder, which they now call a pig
- 27:14Speaker 2: butchering scheme. Awful name for what it is.
- 27:17Speaker 4: That is a bad scheme.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Her name's Rebecca Holloway, recently divorced mother of three. And
- 27:22Speaker 2: she met a man on Tinder who convinced her to
- 27:24Speaker 2: invest into cryptocurrencies. The scammer posing as a French entrepreneur
- 27:30Speaker 2: named Fred.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Everything about you just read is all red flags. Crypto, entrepreneur, friend.
- 27:39Speaker 4: Everything is like, well, you got a problem.
- 27:40Speaker 2: This is called pig butchering. That's a scheme that grooms
- 27:43Speaker 2: victims with fake romance before deceiving them with fraudulent investment advice.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Wait, so who's the pig?
- 27:50Speaker 2: I think it's like fattening the pig before you slaughter it. Oh. Okay.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Which is awful.
- 27:55Speaker 4: That's not a good idea.
- 27:56Speaker 2: This is honestly, this is so much worse than catfishing.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Catfishing is just like a cat.
- 28:01Speaker 4: Catfishing doesn't sound bad.
- 28:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Pig butchering. Like already you're like divorced and probably not
- 28:06Speaker 2: feeling a great amount of self-esteem. And then you're like,
- 28:08Speaker 2: hey girl, how's dating going? Oh, I got pig butchered.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Shit. Then you got to tell your friends and they're like,
- 28:14Speaker 4: wait a minute. Were they called pig butchering? Who's the pig? Like,
- 28:17Speaker 4: I guess I am.
- 28:18Speaker 2: So single women, they say, are approaching middle age, are
- 28:21Speaker 2: so vulnerable. And this is what she said. We have money,
- 28:25Speaker 2: but we might not have met the right guy yet.
- 28:26Speaker 2: And suddenly this good looking man starts talking to you
- 28:29Speaker 2: and you're excited, of course, which I always say. Some
- 28:32Speaker 2: hot guy is like, you're so great. He's love bombing you,
- 28:35Speaker 2: which means calling you all the time, being like, we
- 28:37Speaker 2: are meant to be together. And you are like, you
- 28:40Speaker 2: know what? Finally, somebody gets me.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Right.
- 28:43Speaker 2: I am this fabulous person. I do deserve to have
- 28:46Speaker 2: someone this into me. Yeah. And he's this into me
- 28:48Speaker 2: because he must be right. We must be meant for
- 28:51Speaker 2: each other. And that's how they get sucked in. Looking back,
- 28:55Speaker 2: the signs are so obvious. But at the time, you
- 28:57Speaker 2: want to believe it's real. It felt like a movie
- 28:59Speaker 2: where suddenly everything around me blurred and became distorted. I
- 29:02Speaker 2: didn't even try to withdraw my money.
- 29:04Speaker 3: I knew at this point it was gone. Oh, once
- 29:05Speaker 3: she realized it was gone.
- 29:07Speaker 2: And the U.S. Department of Justice says investment fraud caused
- 29:10Speaker 2: the highest losses of 2022 scam reported by the public.
- 29:14Speaker 3: And up to $ 3.
- 29:17Speaker 2: 31 billion is like fraud through like love and stuff.
- 29:22Speaker 2: And they say pig butchering scams are run by criminal
- 29:25Speaker 2: groups that operate out of centers of Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia. Laos. Oh, Laos. Yeah.
- 29:35Speaker 2: You're so smart. Myanmar and Cambodia with the crime syndicates.
- 29:40Speaker 2: luring in scores of employees with the promise of legitimate jobs.
- 29:44Speaker 4: I mean, I don't think I.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Had somebody call me for a scam, some other type
- 29:48Speaker 2: of scam. And I was just fucking with a guy
- 29:50Speaker 2: and I, I can't remember. I was a couple of
- 29:52Speaker 2: years ago and I had like my assistant there filming me.
- 29:55Speaker 2: And then I was like, well, I don't want this,
- 29:58Speaker 2: but like, are you single? I'm pretty lonely and I
- 30:01Speaker 2: live here in California. And the guy was like, like
- 30:05Speaker 2: had an accent. It was like scam telemarketer about something else.
- 30:08Speaker 2: And then he called, then he called me back and
- 30:11Speaker 2: I had to block him. Yeah. Yeah.
- 30:13Speaker 4: I have one.
- 30:13Speaker 2: He was completely ready to come over.
- 30:15Speaker 4: I have one that I get like every couple of days.
- 30:17Speaker 4: It's like a woman on Instagram who sends me like
- 30:21Speaker 4: real graphic pictures of her nether regions. And it's.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Have you blocked her? No.
- 30:27Speaker 4: You got a blocker, Chris. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I'll
- 30:31Speaker 4: take a look. I don't want to block her completely.
- 30:33Speaker 2: You don't want to hurt her feelings.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Yeah, right. But it's always like, it's obviously, because the pictures,
- 30:40Speaker 4: obviously it's a man looking for me to go, oh,
- 30:43Speaker 4: I like that, you know, whatever. You could totally, I
- 30:46Speaker 4: don't know how anybody gets scammed. I really don't.
- 30:48Speaker 2: When we were sitting at the pool in Tempe, we
- 30:51Speaker 2: were just talking about that it would be very hard
- 30:56Speaker 2: to date If we were single right now, like our
- 30:58Speaker 2: lives were on the road and we were both single. Yeah.
- 31:01Speaker 2: And so then I pretended what it would be like
- 31:04Speaker 2: as we were just sitting by the pool and I'd
- 31:06Speaker 2: be like, I don't know.
- 31:08Speaker 6: Okay.
- 31:08Speaker 2: This guy, I mean, we've been talking like on the
- 31:12Speaker 2: app and we exchanged numbers and he's texted me every morning.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Good morning. Beautiful.
- 31:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:19Speaker 2: And now he hasn't today. And I'm like, this is
- 31:23Speaker 2: the way I'd be talking.
- 31:23Speaker 4: This is the way people talk.
- 31:25Speaker 2: And now I just don't, I don't know, I mean,
- 31:27Speaker 2: do you think he's just busy or do I go,
- 31:29Speaker 2: hey boo, or do I let it go? I'm like,
- 31:32Speaker 2: I can't imagine to have to think about all that
- 31:35Speaker 2: and still do your job and be a mom And
- 31:39Speaker 2: then all of a sudden you're like on a hike.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Someone is into you. And then maybe you do sleep
- 31:44Speaker 2: with them and then they blow you off. So then
- 31:45Speaker 2: you're crushed. You have to get on that horse. I
- 31:47Speaker 2: think it is awful. Right. I feel so badly.
- 31:50Speaker 4: And you've never had to experience the apps. You never
- 31:52Speaker 4: went through the app world. Which is what it is now.
- 31:55Speaker 4: I was in app world early on.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Yes.
- 31:57Speaker 4: And loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Well, I think it's better for guys.
- 32:04Speaker 5: 100%.
- 32:05Speaker 3: And especially cute guys.
- 32:06Speaker 2: 100%. That have a couple bucks. Yeah. Of a certain age.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Because if you own a home. Yeah.
- 32:14Speaker 3: And are like 50.
- 32:17Speaker 2: And you have a slight sense of style.
- 32:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 3: You could get laid multiple times a day.
- 32:24Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 32:24Speaker 3: With people coming to your house and blowing you in
- 32:26Speaker 3: your garage.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Absolutely. Because anywhere from like 35 to 60, a woman
- 32:32Speaker 2: is like, finally, a guy that's appropriate for me.
- 32:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 2: You know, I don't need to be the richest. I
- 32:39Speaker 2: don't need him to be the most gorgeous. Yeah. But
- 32:41Speaker 2: we really connect. And then meanwhile, this 50-year-old guy who
- 32:44Speaker 2: had to work so hard to get laid in high
- 32:46Speaker 2: school and college, then had a bitchy wife for 20 years,
- 32:50Speaker 2: it is like the greatest thing ever for a guy.
- 32:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:54Speaker 4: Honestly, just a couple of candles and a couple of
- 32:58Speaker 4: new bed sheets would get you laid so hard in
- 33:02Speaker 4: today's day and age.
- 33:03Speaker 3: I always said a headboard.
- 33:05Speaker 4: Oh, headboards.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Just somebody with a headboard.
- 33:07Speaker 4: But these days, you see a Kim Kardashian house. There
- 33:10Speaker 4: are beds that are a little sleeker these days, so
- 33:13Speaker 4: there are no headboards anymore. It might be a bit
- 33:15Speaker 4: of a thing, but there are some.
- 33:16Speaker 2: I'm just saying in my day, I was like, I'd
- 33:18Speaker 2: like a headboard, not just like a futon situation or
- 33:22Speaker 2: like a... You know, when guys just like didn't have
- 33:25Speaker 2: like real beds.
- 33:26Speaker 4: Like, yeah, yeah. Oh, God. Like a mattress on the floor.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:29Speaker 4: See, I've never been that guy.
- 33:30Speaker 5: No.
- 33:30Speaker 4: Thank God.
- 33:31Speaker 2: No.
- 33:32Speaker 4: But even like when you watch like 80s movies and stuff.
- 33:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:35Speaker 4: You know, a girl would always go over to like
- 33:36Speaker 4: the guy's house and just have these gorgeous like. what
- 33:39Speaker 4: they call those loft home, you know?
- 33:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 33:41Speaker 4: It's always New York city. Yeah.
- 33:43Speaker 2: With no, it's always an elevator that just opens up
- 33:46Speaker 2: to the place.
- 33:47Speaker 3: It's always an industrial place.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Why is that?
- 33:51Speaker 4: That was a hot look. And like every movies from
- 33:53Speaker 4: like 82 to like 92, every person had that. So,
- 33:57Speaker 4: you know, that was my favorite.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:01Speaker 4: Looking at it now, it's like, how are the, how
- 34:03Speaker 4: are these guys? Not nobody back then was like, they
- 34:07Speaker 4: seem very gay. Three men and a baby. I don't
- 34:10Speaker 4: know if the movie even plays like today. You could
- 34:12Speaker 4: watch it and go... Because the three of them lived
- 34:15Speaker 4: in the same room, more or less. It was Ted Danson,
- 34:18Speaker 4: Steve Guttenberg, and Tom Selleck.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Right.
- 34:21Speaker 4: All three of them looked completely flaming. It looked like
- 34:24Speaker 4: Tidal Wave. But they had... But nobody was like, I
- 34:29Speaker 4: don't know, these guys... And they had a baby and
- 34:31Speaker 4: they were.
- 34:32Speaker 2: I was always like, whenever I'd watch TV... I was like,
- 34:36Speaker 2: why is the orange juice in a glass thing? Why
- 34:40Speaker 2: isn't it just in a carton for these families? I mean,
- 34:42Speaker 2: they're rushing to get the kids off to school. And
- 34:45Speaker 2: then it was always like a beautiful breakfast. I actually
- 34:47Speaker 2: just saw someone do a meme, so I don't want
- 34:49Speaker 2: to take complete credit for this idea because I didn't
- 34:52Speaker 2: see it. But it was like, They said in every movie,
- 34:56Speaker 2: the kid just takes one bite of toast. Gotta go
- 34:58Speaker 2: to school, mom. The guy's like, I've got a big meeting.
- 35:01Speaker 2: And there's like waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, like on a
- 35:04Speaker 2: Tuesday morning. And the mom's like, all right. And I'm like,
- 35:08Speaker 2: oh my God. But it was always like, and I said,
- 35:12Speaker 2: I'm like, mom, why don't you put the orange juice
- 35:14Speaker 2: in the canister? And then because my parents grew up
- 35:16Speaker 2: in advertising, they were like, no, they just can't put
- 35:18Speaker 2: the carton. Every other family in America leaves it in
- 35:21Speaker 2: the carton. They can't have it in a carton.
- 35:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, I just thought we were like a
- 35:26Speaker 2: loser family.
- 35:27Speaker 4: We would big carton, just drink right out of the carton,
- 35:30Speaker 4: you know, like in the refrigerator door open.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Back in the poor days of the McDonald House, we
- 35:36Speaker 2: would do the concentrate, frozen concentrate. So do we. Yeah.
- 35:41Speaker 2: That's like a step below just a carton. God forbid.
- 35:43Speaker 4: I thought that's all they had back then.
- 35:45Speaker 2: No, then they had the carton already done.
- 35:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:47Speaker 2: And then you'd take that and then you'd stir it,
- 35:49Speaker 2: stir it, stir it.
- 35:49Speaker 5: Stir it.
- 35:49Speaker 4: Yeah, you'd stir it with water.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Yes, yeah.
- 35:51Speaker 4: I'll give you worse than that. I'll tell you how
- 35:53Speaker 4: poor the Franjolas were. We had milk that was powdered.
- 35:58Speaker 4: Powdered milk. Yes, I know. This is like 70s. It
- 36:03Speaker 4: was like government. We weren't quite that bad, but I
- 36:08Speaker 4: think there was a time we would use powdered milk.
- 36:12Speaker 4: Pour water in.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Well, now that's gotten sad. Well, you said you read
- 36:15Speaker 2: this article, 13 Tips for Dating in Your 40s.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Let's hear about that.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Well, I mean, you've got to just scroll. I mean,
- 36:20Speaker 4: it's kind of what you were just saying. It's amazing
- 36:23Speaker 4: what these people have to go through, and it's a
- 36:25Speaker 4: lot of that. It's a lot of, like, you know,
- 36:27Speaker 4: just concerned about.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Background checks.
- 36:30Speaker 4: And then, like, when, what I found, here it is.
- 36:33Speaker 3: I also just think the effort of, like, being, like.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Oh, it's a Tuesday. I promise to go on this day.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I think a lot of people, a lot of the
- 36:42Speaker 2: reason things people ghost is that you say, sure. Like
- 36:46Speaker 2: coming back from Arizona, I was like to my friend,
- 36:49Speaker 2: she was in Palm, in the Palm desert area too.
- 36:52Speaker 2: And I were staying at that Palm desert house. And
- 36:54Speaker 2: I said, yeah, I mean, we'll get home up at three.
- 36:57Speaker 2: If you want to come by, or if you want
- 36:58Speaker 2: to go to dinner, I'm down.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Okay.
- 37:00Speaker 2: And then she's like, okay. And then three 30, you know,
- 37:03Speaker 2: like three 33, 45 comes. I'm like, are you coming
- 37:06Speaker 2: or not? Because I just, you know, right. Otherwise I
- 37:10Speaker 2: might just like take it up, but I didn't say that.
- 37:11Speaker 2: And then she's like, we're having Rose here. Do you
- 37:14Speaker 2: mind if we don't? And I go totally fine. Yeah.
- 37:17Speaker 3: I'm like thrilled canceled.
- 37:19Speaker 2: But now think about this as like a first date,
- 37:21Speaker 2: like growing on a job interview, like two times a week.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:25Speaker 2: And how often people come where all of a sudden
- 37:28Speaker 2: it comes to that Sunday and they're like, and then
- 37:32Speaker 2: the person feels rejected but it's really not you because
- 37:35Speaker 2: they haven't met you yeah but it's like people want
- 37:38Speaker 2: to flake don't you get it they want a ghost i.
- 37:41Speaker 4: Follow oh i i i'd be the king of the
- 37:43Speaker 4: ghosters if i was in this world still but yeah
- 37:47Speaker 4: uh this is one that i think is interesting and
- 37:49Speaker 4: i'll read it to you this is number six there's
- 37:51Speaker 4: 14 of them dating in your 40s all right it's
- 37:53Speaker 4: in brides magazine um Navigate gender stereotypes. Dating in today's
- 37:59Speaker 4: landscape can present confusing expectations around gender roles. It's likely
- 38:02Speaker 4: you and your partner will have different ideas and philosophies,
- 38:04Speaker 4: especially when you're financially independent and used to being single.
- 38:07Speaker 4: Who picks up the check and how often? Do you
- 38:09Speaker 4: want the door open for you? Do you want to
- 38:10Speaker 4: open it yourself? Not being on the same page can
- 38:12Speaker 4: lead to awkwardness. Open and honest communication between two loving,
- 38:16Speaker 4: solemnly committed people. partners is required to make all types of,
- 38:20Speaker 4: so it's basically now this is a whole different thing.
- 38:22Speaker 2: So before you even go on the date to Soleiluna,
- 38:26Speaker 2: you say, okay, we're meeting on a first date and
- 38:28Speaker 2: I have to text you and be like, yes, I
- 38:30Speaker 2: can meet you six o'clock on a Monday.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Are we splitting? Is this just apps and chips?
- 38:36Speaker 4: Do I hold the door open for you? Like, you
- 38:38Speaker 4: don't need to. I'm a perfectly independent woman. You don't
- 38:41Speaker 4: need to hold the door for me.
- 38:42Speaker 2: You have to say all this.
- 38:44Speaker 4: I guess that's what they're saying. This is you got
- 38:46Speaker 4: to get that all worked out beforehand.
- 38:49Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 38:50Speaker 2: You know, I noticed that like with certain people. Also,
- 38:55Speaker 2: it's good if you get on the same political page
- 38:57Speaker 2: right off the bat.
- 38:59Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Just be like, yeah. Like, what are you? And then, okay, good. Yeah,
- 39:04Speaker 2: that's another one.
- 39:04Speaker 4: We're the same because otherwise.
- 39:05Speaker 2: A few.
- 39:06Speaker 4: Years ago, I don't think any of that mattered. It
- 39:08Speaker 4: seems to really matter these days. But, yeah. And, you know,
- 39:12Speaker 4: just a lot about, you know, how often you should...
- 39:15Speaker 4: How long you should wait for, like, sex. Right. I
- 39:18Speaker 4: think at that point, I mean.
- 39:19Speaker 2: I kind of think splitting the bill for the first
- 39:23Speaker 2: initial meeting... is probably good, especially if you're not into
- 39:29Speaker 2: the dude because you don't need him being pissed. And
- 39:32Speaker 2: then maybe the second date, if he goes, I'd like
- 39:35Speaker 2: to see you again, then you're like, okay, if that's
- 39:38Speaker 2: the way you feel, then you should then I go
- 39:40Speaker 2: traditional route and you choose the place and tell me
- 39:44Speaker 2: when you want and I'll wait to hear from you
- 39:46Speaker 2: and it's gonna be a traditional role. And if you're
- 39:49Speaker 2: not into that, then let's just remain friends.
- 39:51Speaker 4: I think I'd make a hard... A hard, fast rule
- 39:55Speaker 4: that if you're on a date at any age with
- 39:57Speaker 4: a guy and he makes you split the bill, you've
- 40:01Speaker 4: got to bail on that one.
- 40:02Speaker 2: I agree with that, too, but I just was wondering
- 40:04Speaker 2: if just like.
- 40:05Speaker 4: That's a huge red flag.
- 40:06Speaker 3: I know, but I was just— Okay, this is what
- 40:08Speaker 3: I think.
- 40:08Speaker 4: It's going to become a problem later down the road.
- 40:10Speaker 2: This is what I think. I think if you're a
- 40:13Speaker 2: guy and you want to pay the bill and she's
- 40:17Speaker 2: insisting that she pays half, she doesn't like you.
- 40:20Speaker 3: And she doesn't want to feel guilty.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Agreed. That's what I mean more like she wants out.
- 40:24Speaker 2: She doesn't want to get a bitter message of like,
- 40:27Speaker 2: you know, I wasn't even hungry for that pasta and
- 40:30Speaker 2: you insisted on splitting it.
- 40:33Speaker 4: Right, right. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. So, yeah, if the
- 40:37Speaker 4: girl insists. And then you got to come up, if
- 40:39Speaker 4: she's still insisting and you come up with something else.
- 40:41Speaker 4: All right, you buy the ice cream after. And they're like, oh,
- 40:44Speaker 4: there's not going to be any of that. Like, no,
- 40:46Speaker 4: I got to go home. Then you know it's over.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:48Speaker 4: Oh, it's just all so. It's also difficult.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 40:51Speaker 4: For those single people out there of a certain age.
- 40:54Speaker 2: I just want to.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Say, like, I feel for you.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Yeah. You know. And some people do.
- 41:00Speaker 4: I'm sure there's perks to it, too.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Total perks. Just like, yeah. I mean, I have a friend,
- 41:04Speaker 2: and she's a widow, and she is dating three different people,
- 41:08Speaker 2: and they all have money.
- 41:09Speaker 4: And loving it?
- 41:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 41:11Speaker 4: So three. She's doing three dicks.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Three dicks. Really?
- 41:16Speaker 3: In different parts of the world.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Whoa. Yeah. And she is over 50, and she's gorgeous
- 41:25Speaker 2: and has some bucks on her own, but she's a catch,
- 41:28Speaker 2: and these guys are catches too.
- 41:29Speaker 3: So it's not like it can't happen.
- 41:32Speaker 4: Right.
- 41:32Speaker 2: I just think it's rare. I think this is the
- 41:35Speaker 2: more common story of like, you've been married to an asshole,
- 41:39Speaker 2: you get on this thing, and this hot French guy
- 41:41Speaker 2: is like... I did see this girl on TikTok go,
- 41:44Speaker 2: I turned on my bumble in Italy.
- 41:46Speaker 3: And then she showed some of these guys. And I'm like,
- 41:48Speaker 3: this cannot be real.
- 41:49Speaker 2: How good looking they are.
- 41:51Speaker 4: Really?
- 41:51Speaker 3: And then my sister went to Greece.
- 41:53Speaker 4: These could also be like this woman.
- 41:55Speaker 2: No, and then my sister went to Greece with a
- 41:57Speaker 2: bunch of girls. And one girl was single. And she
- 41:59Speaker 2: showed me these two Greece guys. And they were both
- 42:01Speaker 2: like mid-40s, age-appropriate, fit, salt-and-pepper hair babes. And I'm like,
- 42:07Speaker 2: please tell me that the girl.
- 42:09Speaker 3: got some action. She's like, she did. I'm like, thank God.
- 42:12Speaker 2: But no. Really? I think if you're going to give
- 42:16Speaker 2: your money away by some swindler, why don't you just
- 42:18Speaker 2: skip that step and go to Italy or Greece and
- 42:21Speaker 2: just bone your way through the ruins and then come
- 42:26Speaker 2: back to America and then just be like, I don't
- 42:28Speaker 2: expect anything.
- 42:29Speaker 4: Right.
- 42:30Speaker 2: I'm not going to give you money. I'm never going
- 42:31Speaker 2: to see you again. But at least I know you're
- 42:34Speaker 2: hot and I know that you actually are a real person. Yeah.
- 42:39Speaker 2: And I got to, like, get a little tour out
- 42:41Speaker 2: of it.
- 42:41Speaker 4: But that all sounds great on paper. But then there were, like,
- 42:44Speaker 4: when we were doing our little scenario by the pool
- 42:46Speaker 4: in Tempe, I was like, well, the reality of the
- 42:48Speaker 4: situation is if I was still a single guy and
- 42:51Speaker 4: you were talking about going through apps, I was like,
- 42:53Speaker 4: I probably would hook up with people, like, after shows.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Oh, yes. Okay, let's do that scenario.
- 42:58Speaker 4: It would be back at, like, a Sonesta Suites.
- 42:59Speaker 2: So we were saying, so after the show, because we
- 43:01Speaker 2: do a couple nights of the improv. Yeah. So I said, okay,
- 43:03Speaker 2: your scenario– my scenario is that I'm dating– a couple
- 43:07Speaker 2: guys that I think are great divorced dads and now
- 43:09Speaker 2: they're blowing me off and I'm getting insecure because they
- 43:11Speaker 2: met somebody else while I was doing Stand Up and Tempe. Yeah.
- 43:14Speaker 7: Okay?
- 43:15Speaker 2: Now you're doing Stand Up and Tempe and you go
- 43:17Speaker 2: back to this and you bring a girl home to
- 43:19Speaker 2: the Sinestro.
- 43:20Speaker 4: That I met at the Buffalo Wild Wings, which was
- 43:22Speaker 4: next to the Tempe Improv. They met after the show.
- 43:25Speaker 4: Everyone spilled out. A couple of people went over to
- 43:27Speaker 4: Buffalo Wild Wings.
- 43:29Speaker 7: Okay?
- 43:29Speaker 4: Not exactly Greece, but you get what I'm saying. And
- 43:32Speaker 4: then we were having some drinks.
- 43:33Speaker 3: So I'm the girl and now we both.
- 43:35Speaker 4: Yeah, and I'm single.
- 43:36Speaker 3: We bone and we wake up in the morning.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Yeah, but here's all the reality of it is the
- 43:42Speaker 4: air conditioning at the hotels on the Fritz is in Tempe.
- 43:46Speaker 4: Now it's, you know, we.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Wake up in the- Oh, it's a wall unit?
- 43:49Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a wall unit. You know that one where
- 43:50Speaker 4: it says don't, it's controller from there?
- 43:52Speaker 2: Yes.
- 43:53Speaker 4: They have the thing on the wall. And it's loud.
- 43:55Speaker 4: But it says don't touch that. Go over to the
- 43:57Speaker 4: other thing.
- 43:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:58Speaker 4: And it's loud, exactly. Sounds like you're about to take off.
- 44:03Speaker 4: And yeah, and- You know, it's 92 degrees in the morning.
- 44:08Speaker 5: Right.
- 44:08Speaker 4: You're all sweaty and now sober, you know.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Yeah. And so I say, so what are you doing today?
- 44:14Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. I'm the girl.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 44:15Speaker 4: And they're still there.
- 44:16Speaker 7: Okay.
- 44:16Speaker 2: So what are you doing today?
- 44:19Speaker 4: Oh, today? I got, you know, we got another show tonight.
- 44:22Speaker 2: I know, but so that's not until tonight.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Like, do you want me to show you? We could
- 44:26Speaker 3: go into Scottsdale.
- 44:28Speaker 2: And I know this really cute Mexican place that my
- 44:31Speaker 2: friend owns.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. But I have to go meet Heather. I'm
- 44:36Speaker 4: going to meet her. Are you guys fucking?
- 44:38Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 44:39Speaker 4: She's a friend. She's a friend. She's a friend.
- 44:41Speaker 2: All right.
- 44:41Speaker 3: I think it's weird.
- 44:42Speaker 4: No.
- 44:43Speaker 2: No, I think it's weird.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Like, is she going to be weird to me when I.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Come to the show tonight?
- 44:46Speaker 4: Oh, you're coming tonight?
- 44:48Speaker 2: Yeah. I already invited my friends. Oh, but. Because I
- 44:50Speaker 2: told them how funny you were.
- 44:51Speaker 4: But here's the thing. What you saw last night is
- 44:53Speaker 4: going to be probably the same.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 44:55Speaker 4: Are you okay with that?
- 44:56Speaker 2: No, I love comedy.
- 44:57Speaker 4: All right. So you guys are going to come again.
- 44:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:00Speaker 4: So anyway, I would love to come to the brunch
- 45:02Speaker 4: place or whatever, but I got to meet Heather. I
- 45:04Speaker 4: said I'd meet Heather.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Okay. I don't know. I was so excited to meet
- 45:07Speaker 2: her and then she seemed like a bitch.
- 45:09Speaker 4: Heather?
- 45:09Speaker 2: Yeah, at the end.
- 45:10Speaker 4: She could be a bit of a bitch.
- 45:14Speaker 2: I mean, I think you were funnier. Oh, really?
- 45:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Well, you know, I don't care to hear about her life.
- 45:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I have a shorter amount of time, so it's
- 45:23Speaker 4: easy for me to just hit it and leave. Heather's
- 45:25Speaker 4: got to be up there for the full hour. So
- 45:27Speaker 4: it's a lot of work.
- 45:28Speaker 2: I know. She just didn't seem like thrilled to meet me.
- 45:31Speaker 4: Yeah. She meets a lot of people.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Actually, I have a ton of stuff to do, too.
- 45:35Speaker 5: Do you?
- 45:36Speaker 2: But I will see you tonight, babe.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Okay. I'm excited about it.
- 45:40Speaker 3: I'm already calling you babe.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Less than 24 hours.
- 45:42Speaker 4: Babe. This is giving me such anxiety because it's happened
- 45:46Speaker 4: in the past.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Before your birth.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Okay. So now we go to the show. Yeah. And
- 45:51Speaker 2: I'm coming to the second show so that we can, like,
- 45:54Speaker 2: fuck after. Yeah. Oh, great.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Which is the last thing you wanted to do.
- 45:58Speaker 2: And I brought my five girlfriends that all live in
- 46:00Speaker 2: Scottsdale with me.
- 46:01Speaker 4: Oh, great. Yeah.
- 46:03Speaker 2: But in the second show, there is a very drunk,
- 46:07Speaker 2: annoying person who's chatting. And it throws you off, and
- 46:11Speaker 2: it's not your greatest set.
- 46:13Speaker 4: Yeah. Literally happened to Tim. Okay, go on.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Yeah. And now... It's the show's over.
- 46:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:21Speaker 2: And you're like, oh, I hope she didn't come. But
- 46:23Speaker 2: she did. Right. So she comes to meet you at
- 46:24Speaker 2: the bar. Oh, hey.
- 46:26Speaker 4: Hey, babe. Oh, so good to see you again.
- 46:29Speaker 2: Can I just apologize for my city? I don't know
- 46:33Speaker 2: what is wrong, why no one was laughing tonight. You guys,
- 46:37Speaker 2: he was so... It was weird. You were so much
- 46:41Speaker 2: funnier last night. Yeah, thank you. Because you didn't do
- 46:43Speaker 2: the thing about the bird in this one.
- 46:45Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, I changed it up.
- 46:46Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you, he does this really funny thing.
- 46:48Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Maybe it's not that funny.
- 46:50Speaker 3: It was weird, though.
- 46:51Speaker 2: It was really weird. I don't know.
- 46:52Speaker 3: At least you got up there.
- 46:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 46:53Speaker 4: It was weird. Thank you. It's fine. I mean, I
- 46:56Speaker 4: do this every weekend. So, I mean, you know, take
- 46:58Speaker 4: the girl.
- 46:59Speaker 3: With the bag.
- 47:01Speaker 2: I don't know how you do it. Like, I would
- 47:03Speaker 2: die if I was up there and people weren't laughing.
- 47:05Speaker 4: Uh-huh. Well, anyway, thank you for coming. Thank you for
- 47:09Speaker 4: bringing your friend. I mean, this is so painful because,
- 47:11Speaker 4: I mean, how many times has that happened to you?
- 47:14Speaker 4: I thought you were funny. You're like, oh, my God.
- 47:16Speaker 2: The worst is when they say, I want to apologize
- 47:18Speaker 2: for my city. I don't know why they're not getting
- 47:20Speaker 2: your jokes. And I actually thought I had a good set.
- 47:22Speaker 4: I know.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Because I'm hearing laughter. But they were at a table
- 47:25Speaker 2: where people weren't paying attention.
- 47:27Speaker 4: Whatever was going on.
- 47:28Speaker 2: And they want to make me aware that there was
- 47:30Speaker 2: a table in the back where they weren't impressed. Right.
- 47:33Speaker 3: So thanks for letting me know that.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:35Speaker 4: This is why I got to be like, you know,
- 47:37Speaker 4: eventually like comedians, we're also needy for like hearing compliments.
- 47:41Speaker 4: Of course. We're freaks.
- 47:42Speaker 2: We're standing in front of people.
- 47:44Speaker 4: I know.
- 47:44Speaker 2: Saying listen to me for an hour.
- 47:46Speaker 4: What we do is even worse than that. We stand
- 47:48Speaker 4: in front of people. Many people do that. Broadway, blah, blah, blah.
- 47:52Speaker 4: But what they don't do is they don't go out
- 47:54Speaker 4: after the show and shake their hands. The cast of
- 47:58Speaker 4: Hamilton doesn't go out after the show and go, thank you.
- 48:00Speaker 4: Let me hear what you thought of me personally. We
- 48:03Speaker 4: need to just go, bye-bye. We're done. Never to meet again.
- 48:08Speaker 4: But we go out and hang out and hear how
- 48:12Speaker 4: awful we are right to our faces.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Well, I will say, all my meet-and-greet people tell me
- 48:17Speaker 2: they love me.
- 48:18Speaker 4: But your meet-and-greet people, you know what I mean?
- 48:21Speaker 2: No, but we're talking about a scenario that would happen
- 48:23Speaker 2: to Chris like five years ago.
- 48:24Speaker 4: Yeah, right, right, right.
- 48:26Speaker 7: Okay.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Well, Lamar Oden, poor Lamar, he has sued his former manager.
- 48:31Speaker 2: She's like, Stealing his... She's still taking money for gigs,
- 48:36Speaker 2: and she, like, stole his house. He's just a mess.
- 48:38Speaker 4: But he's also, like, running... What I had heard, he's running, like,
- 48:41Speaker 4: a legitimate rehab center that he's got now Bam Margera,
- 48:44Speaker 4: who's having a lot of problems. Yeah. The guy from Jackass.
- 48:48Speaker 4: That Lamar, like, went to his hospital room and has
- 48:51Speaker 4: him on rehab, whether it sticks or not, who knows.
- 48:54Speaker 4: But Lamar went and recruited him to come to his rehab. Yeah.
- 48:58Speaker 4: So that was a nice thing to do.
- 48:59Speaker 2: Yeah, she's... Continuing to book him after termination and accepting
- 49:03Speaker 2: payment even after being fired. She hijacked his social media accounts. So, anyway,
- 49:10Speaker 2: poor Lamar.
- 49:10Speaker 4: Yeah, well.
- 49:12Speaker 2: I mean, not poor Lamar.
- 49:13Speaker 3: He was a really awful person before, but now he's good.
- 49:15Speaker 4: I mean, he played in the NBA for a long time.
- 49:18Speaker 4: He's got to have some money. right?
- 49:20Speaker 2: I really think he's starting from scratch. I think he
- 49:23Speaker 2: spent so much of it on drugs and everything.
- 49:28Speaker 4: I think I told this story one time on Juicy Scoop,
- 49:30Speaker 4: but I saw him in a parking lot. of a
- 49:33Speaker 4: Starbucks signing a deal. He had a bunch of what
- 49:36Speaker 4: looked like shady people around him, and he had contracts
- 49:39Speaker 4: on the hood of a car, and he was signing
- 49:42Speaker 4: contracts on the hood of a car in a Starbucks
- 49:44Speaker 4: parking lot.
- 49:45Speaker 2: In the valley. That's what I'm saying.
- 49:47Speaker 4: I don't know if he's making the best deals.
- 49:50Speaker 2: He's getting $ 8, 000 per post, which is very good, but
- 49:54Speaker 2: it's not anywhere near what... Isn't he on.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Can he do the reality show?
- 49:59Speaker 2: He did The Big Brother and stuff like that, and then...
- 50:03Speaker 2: I can't remember what happened.
- 50:03Speaker 4: Can't he be on like Celebrities in Space?
- 50:06Speaker 2: I think once he's already told all the stories he
- 50:09Speaker 2: can tell. Yeah. In his book and everything about the Kardashians,
- 50:12Speaker 2: there's nothing else to share.
- 50:14Speaker 4: Right.
- 50:15Speaker 2: So it's like Meghan Markle and Harry. There's nothing more
- 50:19Speaker 2: to share.
- 50:20Speaker 4: Yeah, eventually you run out of stories.
- 50:21Speaker 2: There's nothing more to share. So who cares?
- 50:26Speaker 5: Right.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Good luck to you.
- 50:27Speaker 6: Okay.
- 50:27Speaker 2: Okay. Cynthia Nixon is so excited that, and just like
- 50:32Speaker 2: that is coming back, Chris.
- 50:33Speaker 4: I mean, how excited are you? I'm so excited for,
- 50:35Speaker 4: I mean, I don't.
- 50:36Speaker 2: It's Thursday. Like, we'll have already watched.
- 50:38Speaker 4: It by the time we hear this. Wait, is it
- 50:39Speaker 4: coming back now?
- 50:40Speaker 2: I think I just saw it's on HBO Max Thursday,
- 50:42Speaker 2: so I've watched it.
- 50:43Speaker 4: No, that's the premiere date? I don't think, is it
- 50:45Speaker 4: really coming up already?
- 50:46Speaker 2: Yes.
- 50:47Speaker 4: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 50:48Speaker 2: I think it's the 22nd.
- 50:50Speaker 4: Oh my God, that's exciting.
- 50:51Speaker 2: It is so exciting. And she says, where we left
- 50:56Speaker 2: is Miranda's at the end of the last season. She
- 50:58Speaker 2: had made this big, bold decision to renounce her very
- 51:00Speaker 2: coveted internship.
- 51:03Speaker 3: She's like, I'm nervous. And she follows Shay.
- 51:07Speaker 4: I believe the last thing we heard from her, she
- 51:08Speaker 4: was heading out to a sitcom in L.A., right?
- 51:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:11Speaker 4: Wasn't that what was happening?
- 51:12Speaker 2: Yeah, and this was shot before the writer's strike. So
- 51:16Speaker 2: either there's a couple scenarios that I predict will happen.
- 51:19Speaker 4: Right.
- 51:21Speaker 2: One is that she gets Tony Danza to be her dad.
- 51:24Speaker 4: Tony Danza's playing the dad of Che Diaz in the sitcom.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Yes. But there's some remark or somebody about the fact
- 51:30Speaker 2: that he is not Mexican and she's Mexican. So that's
- 51:33Speaker 2: an appropriation act moment that will be a problem for
- 51:35Speaker 2: the woke. Oh. The other one is.
- 51:38Speaker 4: Could have gotten Edward James Olmos.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Yes.
- 51:41Speaker 4: Hector Elizondo. Okay. Anyway, go on. Yeah.
- 51:46Speaker 2: We definitely. She definitely catches her cheating. Or she wants
- 51:51Speaker 2: to have a threesome with Miranda and like another girl.
- 51:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Or Miranda and a guy because she is fluid.
- 51:59Speaker 4: Tony Danza. Oh, that would be good.
- 52:03Speaker 2: But then, of course, Steve. They said Steve is in
- 52:07Speaker 2: the preview.
- 52:07Speaker 3: I was afraid he.
- 52:07Speaker 2: Wasn't going to come. Oh, no.
- 52:09Speaker 4: Really?
- 52:09Speaker 2: So you'll be able to do Steve. So I want
- 52:11Speaker 2: to do a little scenario. Just prediction.
- 52:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:14Speaker 2: She comes back to New York just to visit the
- 52:18Speaker 2: kid at graduation.
- 52:19Speaker 3: The kid's graduating from high school.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Oh, Steve. I thought we worked it out that I
- 52:25Speaker 2: wouldn't be seeing you when I wanted to see Brady today.
- 52:28Speaker 4: Ah, so great to see you again. I mean, you
- 52:31Speaker 4: look great. This is great. And how's Shane? Is she
- 52:36Speaker 4: doing good?
- 52:37Speaker 2: They're doing great.
- 52:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 2: They are finishing their pilot, and....
- 52:44Speaker 4: Things are going great with the bar, and, you know,
- 52:46Speaker 4: I'm doing.
- 52:46Speaker 2: I'm lying, Steve. I'm not happy.
- 52:48Speaker 4: Oh, no. What happened?
- 52:51Speaker 2: I'm under her spell, I'm sorry, I'm under their spell,
- 52:54Speaker 2: and I am having to do threesomes and go down
- 52:59Speaker 2: on people that, and it's very confusing of how to
- 53:03Speaker 2: get to different places. There's all these different canyons you
- 53:05Speaker 2: can take between the Valley and Warner Brothers, and I
- 53:09Speaker 2: just wanna go back to what I know in New
- 53:11Speaker 2: York and be with you and Brady. Is it too late?
- 53:15Speaker 4: It's not too late.
- 53:16Speaker 2: That's what I think's gonna happen. It's not gonna be
- 53:18Speaker 2: too late.
- 53:18Speaker 4: It's pretty good.
- 53:19Speaker 3: And she's gonna go back to him.
- 53:21Speaker 4: I like that one. Back to listening to her son
- 53:24Speaker 4: have sex with the girl. Like, wasn't that one of
- 53:26Speaker 4: the scenes? Yeah, yeah.
- 53:28Speaker 2: He goes off to college. I think we're going to
- 53:29Speaker 2: get rid of Brady altogether.
- 53:30Speaker 4: I would agree with that. Which was horrible.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Yeah. We're going to see Kirk have to get in
- 53:36Speaker 2: a weird sex cult with Che.
- 53:37Speaker 4: I like this angle.
- 53:39Speaker 2: And then, but then it's too much. He wants to
- 53:40Speaker 2: try it and be.
- 53:42Speaker 4: Have you already talked about this on the podcast? Have
- 53:43Speaker 4: you talked? Where does Aiden fit in?
- 53:47Speaker 2: Yes, my prediction is that she gets with Aiden. She
- 53:50Speaker 2: also is screwing the podcast producer. Okay. She gets a
- 53:53Speaker 2: yeast infection or a UTI. Sorry, a yeast UTI from
- 53:57Speaker 2: having too many different dicks. Yeah. We have a little
- 54:00Speaker 2: funny conversation over brunch about that.
- 54:01Speaker 4: About cranberry juice or something, yeah.
- 54:03Speaker 2: And then... she finds out that Aiden really isn't separated
- 54:10Speaker 2: from his wife or he decides to go back to
- 54:12Speaker 2: his wife.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Oh.
- 54:13Speaker 2: So I believe it'll be like a few episodes of
- 54:17Speaker 2: getting with Aiden. I don't think Aiden's going to remain
- 54:19Speaker 2: a regular or she's not going to be a regular.
- 54:22Speaker 2: But he could always come back because he could always
- 54:24Speaker 2: break up with the girl again.
- 54:25Speaker 4: I mean, to show you, I don't know whether how
- 54:27Speaker 4: sad my life is or good or whatever, I'm so
- 54:30Speaker 4: excited for the Aiden reveal.
- 54:32Speaker 2: Me too.
- 54:33Speaker 4: Like just when you first see him again.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:35Speaker 4: Like when you saw him in that one where he
- 54:36Speaker 4: was buying carpets or whatever.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Yeah. And he turns around and she goes, $ 20 for shoes.
- 54:43Speaker 2: And then he picks her up and she holds her
- 54:45Speaker 2: arms like this. She's wearing like a ball gown and
- 54:49Speaker 2: a DRT shirt.
- 54:50Speaker 4: Yeah, right.
- 54:51Speaker 2: And he had to go there to buy some carpets. Yeah,
- 54:53Speaker 2: of course. Like he had to actually go to the market.
- 54:57Speaker 4: Yeah, in the Middle East.
- 54:58Speaker 2: In Abu Dhabi to get some furniture for his store
- 55:02Speaker 2: in New York.
- 55:02Speaker 4: They have those carpets at HomeGoods. but it wouldn't have
- 55:05Speaker 4: been as fun. Yeah. Yeah.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Yeah. And there might be a moment of where she
- 55:11Speaker 2: wants to meet the three boys or a moment where
- 55:13Speaker 2: she does deal with the three boys and it's very
- 55:15Speaker 2: awkward for her.
- 55:16Speaker 4: Do you?
- 55:16Speaker 2: Because at this point, his kids will be like, 15, 17,
- 55:21Speaker 2: and 20. So he's got three teenage boys from that movie.
- 55:25Speaker 2: So now they'll be old, and it'll be weird and
- 55:27Speaker 2: awkward for her.
- 55:28Speaker 4: And there's no flashbacks to Mr. Big, or he's done.
- 55:31Speaker 4: He's gone.
- 55:31Speaker 2: He's done still.
- 55:32Speaker 4: Because he has to be gone for several reasons. Probably
- 55:34Speaker 4: gone just for plot reasons, and also the actor himself
- 55:37Speaker 4: has been kind of canceled, I guess.
- 55:39Speaker 2: Or something. Yeah.
- 55:40Speaker 4: So he can't be involved.
- 55:42Speaker 2: Yes. Wow. Honestly, I'm really curious to know what's going
- 55:45Speaker 2: to happen with Charlotte's now... non-binary daughter, Rocky. Okay.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Or no, no, I think her daughter is becoming a son.
- 55:56Speaker 4: Is that the Asian girl?
- 55:57Speaker 2: No, the biological one.
- 55:59Speaker 6: Oh.
- 55:59Speaker 2: That one, the Asian girl that they adopted is like,
- 56:02Speaker 2: you know, a genius and pianist and going off to college.
- 56:04Speaker 4: Right, right. Okay.
- 56:07Speaker 2: Like, I really am curious if they're going to like,
- 56:09Speaker 2: have her be like, oh, she's fine, that was a stage,
- 56:12Speaker 2: or would that be offensive by saying it's a stage?
- 56:15Speaker 2: And so we have to go through the puberty blockers
- 56:18Speaker 2: and the mastectomy and how far they'll get with that,
- 56:21Speaker 2: or they'll just ignore it. I think my prediction is
- 56:24Speaker 2: we won't see Rocky at all.
- 56:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I think we need to focus more on the
- 56:27Speaker 4: people we like.
- 56:28Speaker 2: And the adults. I think we're done with Brady and Rocky. Absolutely. Yeah,
- 56:32Speaker 2: that's what I think.
- 56:33Speaker 4: I mean, I'll say this. From the dawn of television,
- 56:37Speaker 4: any time you started bringing the kids in is when
- 56:39Speaker 4: the show started to tank.
- 56:41Speaker 2: I think they need to bring the kids in just
- 56:42Speaker 2: to establish how different the world is today. But I
- 56:45Speaker 2: don't think we need, if we never hear about Rocky again. Yeah.
- 56:50Speaker 4: I don't even remember Rocky. Who was Rocky?
- 56:52Speaker 2: That's her daughter. Her daughter was named Rose. Yeah. The
- 56:56Speaker 2: daughter becomes Rocky. Oh.
- 56:58Speaker 4: Oh, I don't. Okay. See, I don't even remember any
- 57:01Speaker 4: of that.
- 57:02Speaker 2: I know, but I'm saying, then good. Like, let's just
- 57:04Speaker 2: ignore it. Let's just go to brunches. Let's have her.
- 57:06Speaker 2: have marital problems with the attorney, husband.
- 57:11Speaker 4: Here's what we all want out of Sex and the City.
- 57:13Speaker 4: We want cute outfits, New York City. We want to
- 57:17Speaker 4: see New York City. We want to see up and
- 57:19Speaker 4: down stoops, stairs, and that's what we want. We want,
- 57:22Speaker 4: like you always do.
- 57:23Speaker 2: You know what I don't want to see? I don't
- 57:25Speaker 2: want to see graphic sex.
- 57:27Speaker 4: No. Remember the masturbation scene with Chris Null?
- 57:30Speaker 2: And I'm sorry to be a person of a certain age,
- 57:33Speaker 2: but I don't enjoy.
- 57:37Speaker 2: Seeing old people get it on, myself included.
- 57:40Speaker 4: Really?
- 57:41Speaker 2: You know what I am enjoying? The porn I'm watching
- 57:45Speaker 2: right now on HBO Max. I'm watching an actual porn
- 57:48Speaker 2: on HBO Max. What is it called? It's called The Idol.
- 57:50Speaker 4: Oh, I've heard.
- 57:51Speaker 7: Wow.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Wow.
- 57:53Speaker 4: Is this the weekend?
- 57:54Speaker 2: Johnny Depp's daughter has the best little sexual body I
- 57:59Speaker 2: think I've ever seen.
- 58:00Speaker 4: Really?
- 58:01Speaker 2: She's got nice, tiny proportioned tits.
- 58:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Tiny flat waist. Okay. Juicy ass.
- 58:08Speaker 4: Is that right?
- 58:09Speaker 2: Yes.
- 58:09Speaker 4: But who's the mother of that girl?
- 58:10Speaker 2: And she just smokes the whole time.
- 58:12Speaker 4: Who's the mother?
- 58:12Speaker 2: Some girl that also smoked.
- 58:13Speaker 4: Is that the French model that he was married to
- 58:15Speaker 4: for a long time?
- 58:16Speaker 2: Yeah. And then he's totally disturbing and hideous. It is
- 58:20Speaker 2: so sexual.
- 58:21Speaker 4: Who, Johnny Depp or?
- 58:22Speaker 2: No, The Weeknd. Oh.
- 58:24Speaker 4: Yeah, he plays like a character.
- 58:25Speaker 2: Okay, so it's so bad. It's so sexual. But I
- 58:30Speaker 2: went to bed after watching two episodes, woke up at 1230,
- 58:32Speaker 2: had to watch the third.
- 58:33Speaker 4: Really?
- 58:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:35Speaker 3: And now the storyline is good.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Kind of juicy and good it's like he it's almost
- 58:40Speaker 2: like she's a britney spears and he's a sam lufty's
- 58:44Speaker 2: though sam don't be mad that i said this but
- 58:46Speaker 2: like right like where this outsider kind of comes in
- 58:49Speaker 2: and takes over her and but very not similar to
- 58:52Speaker 2: britney at all but like and the kind of the teams.
- 58:55Speaker 4: And everything so that's who the weekend plays.
- 58:56Speaker 2: Yeah now it's kind of getting better in that like
- 58:59Speaker 2: how he's controlling her and like mind fucking her and
- 59:01Speaker 2: it's almost like he's running a little cult A little
- 59:04Speaker 2: bit of it reminds me, they took a little of everything.
- 59:06Speaker 2: Remember the dad at the, Sarah Lawrence school that moved
- 59:11Speaker 2: in and became a cult leader? It's a little bit
- 59:13Speaker 2: like where he's getting these guys and girls to do
- 59:17Speaker 2: weird things to each other in front of each other
- 59:19Speaker 2: and they're all moved into her house.
- 59:23Speaker 4: Oh, I got to watch this.
- 59:24Speaker 2: It gets better, but I'm just also know it's super,
- 59:27Speaker 2: super sexual.
- 59:28Speaker 4: All right. I'm fine with that.
- 59:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:30Speaker 4: But is she a singer? Why is it called the aisle?
- 59:32Speaker 2: She's supposed to be a singer.
- 59:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 59:34Speaker 2: Okay. I don't know anything about this show.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Singer, dancer.
- 59:35Speaker 2: I got to watch this show. Yeah. Now you're realizing
- 59:37Speaker 2: like what this guy's about.
- 59:40Speaker 4: I keep reading about it. Do you think that actors,
- 59:43Speaker 4: people who have studied their whole lives acting, do you
- 59:47Speaker 4: think they feel the same way as like comedians like
- 59:48Speaker 4: we do about like, people who get big on TikTok
- 59:51Speaker 4: and then go play like comedy clubs. Do you think
- 59:54Speaker 4: actors get that way about like The Weeknd and like
- 59:57Speaker 4: all these rappers and guys who just go into acting
- 59:59Speaker 4: and are pretty good at it?
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Like out of nowhere?
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: I'm not angry about The Weeknd.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: No, I'm saying not you, but like an actor who
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: studies acting. All of a sudden they're like, well, this guy,
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: like there's a lot of like IHT and it goes
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: on and on and on.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: The only thing in this, and correct me if I'm wrong, fans, people, listen.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: I believe he kind of helped with the story. The
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: story is by him and the guy that wrote Euphoria.
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: So I kind of like that he came up with
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: the story. He comes off awful. He comes off so
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: gross and unattractive.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: But that's a character he's playing.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Right, but it is going to probably affect the way
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: I feel about him in the future.
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: I heard he's not doing season two. That's what I
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: just read.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: He should.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: Whether his character is.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: I shouldn't because his character is so... and even at
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: one point he has like his shirt off and the
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: body's not good. Yeah.
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: And like just everything.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: About what I thought was cool about The Weeknd, I'm
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: now like, but.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: You know, so I would say, yeah, get out of it.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: Let people forget how gross you were with your wig
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: and your rat tail and like what a gross character
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: you are.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: But that's a good thing. He must be a good
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: actor if he's giving you that vibe. That's what he
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: wants you to.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: But I don't really know his personality before. Like we
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: all know that Post Malone is like, The sweetest tattoo
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: delight there is.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: You see the videos of him talking to kids on
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: the street.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: I mean, he's just on it. He's just like, he's
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: like a sweet dork inside that looks like a killer. Okay,
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: so we know his, but I don't feel like we
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: ever knew the Weeknd's personality. So this is kind of
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: the first intro to seeing him talk. And it's, yeah.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: But she is gorgeous if she just has to stop
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: smoking because she is going to have the same teeth
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: as her dad in about a year if she does
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: not And she's smoking so much, and she will bring
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: back Virginia Slims like nobody else.
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: Watch.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Girls will start wanting to smoke cigarettes.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: I don't think they were allowed to have smoking on
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: TV anymore. Don't they have a warning before the show
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: or something?
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: I think.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: I've seen, like, warning for the show. There's adult content,
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: and also there's smoking.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: They don't say smoking.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: Oh, they don't?
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: No.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: Really?
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: No. Wow. So, a Catholic school teacher was caught in
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: compromising positions in the classroom by students.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: God.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: I mean, trying to, like, bone kids in the Catholic school.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: I mean... I don't know what to do with these people.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: I'm moving on. This woman knocked on a coffin and
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: came back alive after being dead for like a week.
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: Well, I got bad news.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Did she die?
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: Yeah, she died yesterday. Yeah, I hope they didn't return
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: the coffin because, yeah, she wound up dying. But if
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: anybody mistakes you for dead and is about to bury you,
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: it's probably not a good idea. You're probably not in
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: great shape, you know, in the first place, I would imagine. Like, so...
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: I always think that.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: But also that is why if you are going to
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: do the traditional coffin, that is nice that they put, like,
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: a nice pillow and stuff in there because, like, God
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: forbid they make a mistake.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: But I feel like there's a long time between, actually, like,
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: the death and the funeral. Like, there's days, and this
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: woman had... There's video of the funeral, and you see her, like, just, like,
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: stirring in the coffin. There's, like, two people there. It's
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: like in a... out in an impoverished country. There's like
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: a little fan going in the corner. And anyway, she
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: just starts waking up and the guy's like, what's happening?
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: And they picked her up a little bit. But anyway,
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: she wound up dying yesterday. Yeah, so.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: And then what do they do then? And then they
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: were like, well, can we get a half price on
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: the second round?
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess they were like.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: And then you have to tell everybody like.
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: Everybody come back.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Yeah, like, sorry, can we still do this? Like, oh, well, like. Right.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: I already went and you wear the same outfit.
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: I mean, how many black dresses do you have?
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: This is a lot of, yeah.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: Do they have any leftover sandwiches?
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Yeah. And they just, like, re-put the, you know, like,
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: how much do you redo this?
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: I mean, yeah.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Let's do a redo or just call it a day.
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: Yeah. I think, yeah, at this point.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: J-Lo did a real thirst trap on Father's Day.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: I saw that. I feel like it's a little low
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: on the picture.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what it was about.
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: That's almost dick.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: But also, it's a selfie that he, like, I think it's, Wait,
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: maybe that wouldn't have been a selfie.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: They said it was a selfie. This looks like it's
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: not a selfie.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: No, it's a selfie he took in a mirror. He
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: didn't do it like this.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: He's shooting in a mirror.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: And then that's what she posted.
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: This is like when he was on Raya. Remember he
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: was on Raya?
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: And there was that one thing where he was on
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: Raya and some girl.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: I think he's on Ozempic. Look at how thin he is.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: Yeah, but this is probably 10 years ago.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: No.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: Well, he must have sent it to her.
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: And then she had it. But that's what you do
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: for Father's Day. They are thirsty.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: And did nothing for the other dad.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Mark Anthony.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: Mark Anthony, yeah. That's what I heard.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: But I also think, I don't care about that she
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: didn't do anything for Mark Anthony. It's her kids that
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: should have done something. But if you're going to do
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: a Father's Day thing, really you do want to just
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: look at my hot husband and he's a good dad.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: Yeah. Whatever.
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: They're thirsty like everybody else.
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: They got to be thirsty. They got to keep, you know,
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: I mean.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: That's part of the gig, right?
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: They're just as thirsty as the rest of us.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: Who do you think should take over Wheel of Fortune?
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: You want to hear my person and you might disagree.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: That's all right.
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: It's okay.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: We've disagreed on many things.
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: I'm going to say Whoopi Goldberg. I think Whoopi Goldberg.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: I totally agree.
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: Oh, you do?
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: All right. So the names that are being twirled around.
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: Ryan Seacrest, Vanna White.
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: Well, that's what I initially thought. I'm like, give it
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: to Vanna White. If she's going to hang around still.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: She hasn't announced yet whether she's going to still.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: Is that kind of like when Sonny Bono died and
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: they let the wife take over the Senate seat?
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: I always thought that's always kind of weird.
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: It was Mayer, I think. He was Mayer of Palm
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: Springs or whatever. But yeah, she did take over. But
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: she was politically minded anyway.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: I always think that's really weird that a spouse, I'm like,
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: this isn't like the royal family.
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: Yeah, sometimes that happens.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Strange.
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: Look at the Lakers. Doesn't the daughter run the Lakers now?
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: Genie bus? Yeah.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: But she always worked in there.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess that's true.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Okay, but Vanna White, I think Vanna White was looking
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: for a reason to end it.
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: I think she might be out too.
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: So this is a perfect ending. Because she's 60-something or two.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: She's 60. It's like 65.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: She must have looked amazing.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: Yeah. But at a certain point, she probably never wanted
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: to quit. And this is her perfect.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: Done.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: I know she has a place out in Kona.
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: That's it.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: Live your life. Have some fun. I know.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: Maggie Sajak, Pat Sajak's daughter.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: She's cute.
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: She was recently on it. Whoopi.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Wayne Brady.
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: Wayne Brady would be good too.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Yeah, he's always good. LeVar Burton.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: Also good because they were talking about him for Jeopardy.
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: But also good.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: I don't know this guy, Stephen A.
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: Smith.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: He's a sports media.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: Stephen A. Smith's a sports guy. He's the ice man.
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: That's a joke. He would never do it.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: He'll never do it?
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: No.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: So we both agree, Whoopi.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: I think Whoopi needs to get out of the view.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Me too.
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: I feel like she's a funny person who's like. You
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: forgot how funny she could potentially be because she's in
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: that political world of The View. She gets out of that.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: She goes over and just has fun again. Like Steve
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: Harvey kind of did with Family Feud.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: I'm having fun again. I don't have to be. So yeah,
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: I think it's a perfect move for her. Leave The View.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: However, however, if I was the executive, it is kind
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: of wise to go with someone younger that's going to
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: do this for the next 20 years because the show's
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: never going away.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: Nobody young's watching.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Not young like 35.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: Whoopi's like 70. I'm saying choosing someone like 50.
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: Yeah, like a Seacrest. Yeah. But Seacrest, he's not, he
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: doesn't want this.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: He's not it.
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: He's done. He's got enough money and enough jobs. He
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: doesn't want this. Yeah. I mean, you know, what if
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: Michael Strahan does too much? They, you know, the guys
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: who are like, professional hosts.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: But, you know, Pat Sajak was never funny with it.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: It's not a funny thing.
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: No, it's not funny. I mean, he is funny-ish. He's...
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: I mean, honestly, I believe Pat Sajak is perfect at
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: the job. I mean, he's so, so good at being
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: a game show host. Funny enough, doesn't take away from
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: the show.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know if I'm sold on
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: any of these people. All right. Oh, here's a photo
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: of the... They're horrified. This is the idol. They said
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: fans are horrified by the X-rated sex scene in the idol.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: I mean, people can't be, there's some, like real porn
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: is so accessible these days. How could anybody be, be
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: horrified by cinematic porn?
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Pretty shocking.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: I want to just go back to this one more thing.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: I'm just like, like, do you, is Johnny Depp watching
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: his daughter in this? Well. Or not? Because I remember
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: my friend was out with a group of women and
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: Dakota Johnson. Yeah. Who was in the Fifty Shades of Grey.
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: Don Johnson's daughter.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Her mom, Melanie Griffith, was there. And they were talking
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: and somehow the show came up.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: It was already out.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: This was a few years ago. And she was like,
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: did you like it? And they're like, you didn't see it?
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: And she's like, I couldn't. I did not watch it.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: And this is like a major movie that her daughter
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: was in. And the daughter was good in it. Dakota's good.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: But it was sexual. But I will say this is
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: 10 times more sexual and more about her sexual body
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: than anything you would have seen in Fifty Shades of Grey.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll say, I mean, because they're both in the business,
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: it might be a little bit better because you know, like,
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: what it takes. Like, a sex scene isn't really a
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: sex scene. You know what I mean? Maybe it's like, oh,
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: I know there's 35 people standing around.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: She's also, though, she cries a lot on cue.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: So she definitely has, like, really good Johnny Depp acting chops. Right.
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: So I think she'll do a lot.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: More after this. I just wonder if.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: I guess it's not a mistake because now we know
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: who she is.
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: But it is... Like such a sexual thing. She'll be fine.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: Like all of those kids from the other one that's
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: on HBO. I mean, every one of them's career is
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: like skyrocketing. A bear. Euphoria.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: An Arizona man. He was wearing a hat like yours.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Was eaten and killed by a bear. Attacked by a bear.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: And they tried to stop it. They tried to scare
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: the bear away.
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: And he was just doing, setting up something in the woods.
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: And the bear got him.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: And the bear got him.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: No, I mean, that's a bear being a bear.
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: I feel like bears have gotten scarier.
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: We're talking about an actual bear or we're talking about
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: that tidal wave again? Because we did talk about other
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: bears earlier.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: This was your story.
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: Can you tell me about this story?
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. This is a Chinese woman who I guess climbed. Now,
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: Mount Everest, I did not know this, which is another
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: thing I have no desire to do.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Never.
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: But there are people who are like, I have to
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: climb that mountain. And you read all the stories about
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: what happened. I guess as you climb up Mount Everest,
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: you just see dead bodies on the way up because
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: people die, I guess, a lot from what I'm gathering
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: from reading.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: I'm going to say out of submarine- Space and Mount Everest,
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: 100% Mount Everest is the least desirable one because it's
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: all on my body to get up there.
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: It's like uphill.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Horrific. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: So go on.
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: Yeah. So I guess what happens is you have a
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: Sherpa who walks you up. Okay. Like a helper.
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: He helps you. They know the area. Like a caddy.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: You're a golfer.
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: Very much like a caddy. Exactly. Anyway, they're from the country.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: They know the terrain.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: This woman, I guess, pretty much died. And they found
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: her on the way up. Some other people in her
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: hike found her.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: Where did her Sherpa go?
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: I don't think she had one.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: Oh, you don't have to have one. That's like an
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: extra fee.
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: Not that I know of. But anyway, she was pretty
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: much frozen to death. Okay. And this man rescued her.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: The Sherpa rescued her.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Instead of shitting in her mouth?
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: She was frozen. So he rescued her and, like, took
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: her back down. And I guess if you're rescued by
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: a Sherpa, you have to pay them $ 10, 000. It's called
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: a rescue fee or something. And she's refusing to pay.
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: She says, I wasn't. I didn't need your help. I
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: was fine. But, you know, I wasn't frozen. I was sleeping.
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: But apparently, so now she paid him.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: I was just crossing my eyes.
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: She paid him $ 4, 000. And the fee is $ 10. So
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: apparently she's getting a lot of flack on different social
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: medias that she needs to pay up to the guy.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: I hope that she doesn't try to do it again
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: and be like, well, you know, I'm going to go
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: back next year because I didn't actually get to the top. Yeah.
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: Like, just call it a day.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: And pay the dude. I mean, my God.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: You know what? To show you how little I want
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: to do Mount Everest— I still don't know why this
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: even happens, but sometimes you're walking through an airport. And
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: we've walked through a lot of things, malls, whatever. And
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: I don't know why airports, I don't know if they
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: don't have a proper grading system. Why are there all
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: of a sudden a hill in an airport, like in
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: a hallway, airport hallway? Yeah, you're right. All of a
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: sudden there's a hill, like in an airport hallway. You
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: never see that in any other building except for an airport.
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: And there's one as you leave LAX. There's one at Delta.
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: And every time I'm about to hit it, I'm like, oh,
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: here comes this hill that I got to walk up.
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: It's probably a foot grade up. And I'm like, that's
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: how little I don't want to climb that ever. I'm like,
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: I don't even want to walk up the Delta hallway
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: that's a little inclined. But why are there inclines in airports?
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Well, speaking of, did you hear about, let me get
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: to the, did you hear about the horrible thing that
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: happened on in Los The tourist plunged to his death
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: at the Grand Canyon.
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: Did he jump or?
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: I mean, it has to be because it's high enough.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: I know. People lean over these things.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: But I am obsessed with people dying in the Grand Canyon.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: Before this thing was built, we went like 15, 16
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: years ago.
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: And I bought a book about all the mysterious deaths.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: And there were so many couples where the wife accidentally
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: got too close. Yeah. Right. Wanting to take a photo.
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: And then the guy like, because once somebody falls over,
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: forget it.
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: It's over, right?
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: Yeah. And they did. They tried to, like, there is,
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: why are you bothering?
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: No, you fall.
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: Like, there's no way.
- 1:14:23Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: To do this.
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: Is that that, so this is new, the skywalk.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: Right. I've never been. I've never been to the Grand Canyon.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: You know, in New York, there's that building.
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: We went up there one time, yeah.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: And you look down. That is kind of freaky.
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: That's crazy, I know.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: Yeah, that's pretty cool.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: You get two in your head when you think about that,
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: along with being on a ship, too. I imagine jumping
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: off all the time.
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't like any of that. When I was
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: an electrician in New York City, thank you, before I
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: was a successful comedian, I was a local three IBW electrician.
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: I used to do a lot of open construction work
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: where you were literally up on the 50th floor with
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: no walls, just like on steel.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but they like tie you.
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: Yeah, a little bit. But I mean, I wasn't on
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: open steel, but there was no walls and you were
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: out there, like up 50 floors. Terrifying.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: Really terrifying. You know, I wonder whether, you know when
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: people are like washing windows, right? And that would be
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: like a dumb, like romantic comedy, like a girl's in
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: her window. And she sees the guy washing it. Yeah.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: And they have like a moment. And then she sees
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: him again. And he's like, she lives in a big penthouse.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: Like she wouldn't want anything to do with me. But
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: then he has a great idea. Yeah. That also makes
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: him like a billionaire.
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: Somebody call Ryan Gosling and let's see who else. And oh,
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: a Dakota fan. I like Dakota fan. No, Dakota Johnson.
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: Dakota Johnson. By the way, have you seen the trailer
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: for the Jennifer Lawrence movie?
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think it's weird. It's like the Catholic
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: school teacher. Why are they paying a 35-year-old woman to
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: date their 18-year-old son?
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: Yeah, that aside, it also just seems like a retreaded
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: 80s movie that I feel like, I don't know, it's
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: very strange.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: I just think her career ever since Weinstein has gone
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: to prison, coincidentally, don't know why, has kind of fallen off.
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: Yeah, because she was apparently like, That's why that was
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: her career.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Yeah, and she was cast in all these parts that, honestly,
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: she wasn't really right for. Remember she was playing the
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: mistress in The Hustle? Yeah. And I was like, this
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: girl is like 21. Why is she playing a 30-year-old?
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: I don't know. She was the wife. And then there
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: was a few things that she was cast in that
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: she was too young to be.
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: But she kept winning Oscars and kept being nominated.
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. I mean, I like the one where she
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: sold the mops. decent that movie yeah otherwise i don't
- 1:16:58Speaker 4: i don't think i've ever seen a jennifer lawrence movie
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: i just feel.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Like she's kind of like so this might be like
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: her comeback yeah but you know people love her she's
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: funny who is she dating.
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: She's married with a kid didn't they have a kid
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: i think i feel like.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: She married somebody else's like ex-husband that was famous like
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: i get her and like scrawl johansson and which husband
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: and which baby they're on and like.
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: Yeah Well, I'll say this. If you watch the trailer
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: for the new movie that she's got coming out, comedy's hard. Yeah.
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: And it's very apparent in that trailer that comedy's hard.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Is there a moment where she's on a treadmill and
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: loses her balance and goes running off of it.
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: Out of frame? Might as well be. I mean, it's
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: that kind of, like, hacky bits that we all know
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: from movies. It's those kind of things, you know?
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: There is this girl I follow. Her name's Delaney.
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: You... I reached out to her. I want her on
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: juicy scoop. Yeah. She is so brilliant. And her whole
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: account is her being, doing annoying parts written by men
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: of the most annoying girl in an indie movie. Yeah.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: So she'll be like, Hmm. Just want to, why is
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: it that soup sometimes so calming? Um, she does this like,
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: and she looks like those, She's got brown hair, and
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: she's pretty, but not a lot of makeup. And she
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: does the bartender in a movie, or the detective, the
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: female detective. Just all the cliches, which is like, why
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: don't you stop holding your dicks and get this case going?
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: This is my jurisdiction. And walks out. All that kind
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: of stuff we make fun of, too. But she actually
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: looks like she could be the role.
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: Oh, that's funny.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's that kind of. exact that kind of
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: stupid stuff all right i gotta watch that yeah i'm
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: gonna show you the bartender one the bartender one's the
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: best where she's like she's got her rag and she's
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: like Whiskey on the rocks. Haven't seen you get around
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: here in a while. Like the most gorgeous girl is
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: working at the shittiest bar in the smallest town with
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: no hope. Like this girl never got married or got
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: the fuck out. Yeah.
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: It's my favorite.
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: Porcelain skin.
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: Beautiful teeth.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: Cock the movie cocktail with Tom Cruise, Brian Brown, who
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: plays like his mentor in it. You know, he makes it.
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: Everyone's like, this guy is the greatest part of that.
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: And I believe they're working TGI Fridays. They are. In
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: the beginning, they show it. When they go, hippie, hippie, shaking,
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: throwing the bottles back and forth. And he's like a
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: 60-year-old man working at TGI Fridays, which some people would
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: frown upon by society's standards. But in the movie, they're like,
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: this is the guy.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: This is the guy who does makeup.
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: Get to know him.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: Wait. TGI Fridays on Canoga. Which was a staple in
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: my life growing up. Okay. In Woodland Hills.
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: It is gone. There's some new building that's going up.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: It's like halfway done. Yeah. I'm just dying to see
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: what it's going to be. I hope it's still a restaurant. Yeah.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: But that is where we went after every time I
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: performed or anything at my high school. Because it was
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: the only place that was open past 10.
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
