- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Hey friend, welcome back to Bible Tract Echoes.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Mike McCurray, your host.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much for joining me once again today.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna ask you if you would to consider.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_00]: But it was last time you went to a funeral.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: It was last time you went to a visitation.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, I can tell you, with great clarity when the last time that was.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: I had the privilege, it wasn't a sorrowful time as much as it was a joyful time, to know that a friend, to know that a man, I'd count him on my heroes, had graduated to heaven, a faithful man who can find.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: But the Scott Netterville, back in April, stepped over into glory.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: I've talked about him on the radio here before, and I'm so glad we took the time.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: Late last year, I had the privilege of spending over an hour recording an in-depth conversation with this dear friend.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: April 18, 2026, he stepped over into glory.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: Evangelist Scott Neterville was a preacher, a servant, and a humble man of God, for the Scott was also a wonderful soul winner.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: Only eternity will tell the number of folks populating heaven because of his yieldedness and boldness to proclaim the gospel.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: In addition to the interview that I recorded with him, we also filmed a series of soul-winning lectures.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_00]: Top by what it's got, shortly before it's home going.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now, scarcely, what now a month and a half, or so, two months, after he went to heaven, these helpful lessons are available for free.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's our prayer that these lessons will not only teach others how to clearly present the gospel, but will also reflect with his scots heart for the lost, his investment in souls,
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: will continue to bear fruit, and we trust the Lord will use these resources to carry that impact forward.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to watch the interview I did with him, or the soul-winning training lessons, then you can text the word Scott, SCO TT, the word Scott, to 309,
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: 3, 1, 6, 7, 2, 4, 0.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: Text the word Scott to 309, 3, 1, 6, 7, 2, 4, 0.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: That segway's in perfectly to the Gospel tract I want to talk to you about.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's called, thank you for your kindness.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for your kindness at the loss of my loved one.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: There may not be a more tender or timely tract than this one, written by our founder, Dr. Paul Levine.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: We know God often does his most remarkable work in some of the most challenging circumstances.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: Time does not allow us to share the impact that has been made when grieving Christians, though heartbroken over the loss of a dear family member or friend.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: have offered this track to spiritually lost attendees at a funeral or graveside service.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: There is no better way to thank a friend for their care than by sharing the gospel with them.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: This resource, like our tracks, is free as Lord provides, and it can be ordered at BibleTractsink.org today.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: You can get this track for free, maybe it just happens to be.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: There's no happenstance in God's economy, but
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe just maybe you're in a spot where you have a funeral up coming, or maybe you know someone a dear family member, friend, that's on hospice and you're going to have a part in the proceedings and maybe you would even have the liberty to pass this gospel track down.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: it would mean so much to us.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: There are few tracks.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: We bathe all of them in prayer to some degree, we pray for God to do a great work with them, but these ones, oh my, we know that they are going to be used and used in one of the most potentially effective outlets possible.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: When do people more consider their eternal destiny than at a funeral?
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: I would encourage your friend if you have a need for these, please order them.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, there is hope.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: There is the other side.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: There is heaven.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: We're so thankful.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so thankful for the hope of heaven.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: The fact that this life, when we breathe our last, it's not over.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's just really a new beginning.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: Never mind, I don't, I don't want to leave you despondent.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to leave you discouraged.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: But there are minds we have a song that put a Scott Nettoville loved.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: We had the opportunity.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: It was actually years ago.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: Well, before he passed away to a chord, brother Scott Nettoville singing this, maybe one of his favorite songs.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's titled,
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: The lyrics say something like this, they say, I'm satisfied with just a cottage below, a little silver, and a little gold, but in that city, whether ransom will shine.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: I want a gold one.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's silver.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: Lined.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: I've got to mention, just over the hilltop the chorus says, in that bright land where, we'll never grow old, and someday yonder, we will never wear wander.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: But walk on streets, that are purist, gold.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: But there's something fun that, whether Scott and I will be able to do, with the last
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: You see, where the sky was Texan, he enjoyed horses, and the old very last line of the last verse says, I want to mention a harp and a crown.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: And where the sky always was of the opinion, what am I going to do with a harp?
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I want?
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: I want a horse.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: And so that third verse goes like this, don't think me poor or deserted or lonely.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not discouraged.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm having bound.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a bunipillogram in search of the city.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: I want to mention and as Brother Scott would say, a horse and a crown.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'd love to do?
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'd love to actually listen to Brother Scott sing this song.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: We as I mentioned had the chance to record him along with nine other songs with this one.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: This one we've been listening to just a little bit extra after his home going.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: Just in case for some reason, it gets cut out or you're not able to listen right now, maybe if you want to text me at 309, 316-720, if by some chance it comes through Garble or you can't hear it.

- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you're listening and maybe with a Scott's voice right now would be a help to you because you're thinking about someone that you're going to see on the other side.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: Listen now to Scott Netterville saying, I've got a mansion just over in the hilltop.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'm satisfied with just the cottage beetle.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: A little still.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_02]: I know it'll go
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: But in that city, where the ransom will shine, I want a gold one that's silver-line.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: I've got a mansion, just over the hilltop, in that bright land where we'll never grow.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_02]: And someday, on earth, we will never more wonder.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_02]: But walk the street that is here is gold.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_02]: No more than two, two.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_02]: Tornin' it and testin' And like the prophecy My pillow, a stone And though I find here No permanent dwelling
- 9:27[SPEAKER_02]: I know he'll give me a match in my own I've got a match gun Just over the huge gun
- 9:42[SPEAKER_02]: In that bright plant where we'll never grow old And someday on earth we will never more wonder But what the street that is pure is gold
- 10:12[SPEAKER_02]: You don't make me poor, poor, poor, deserve it or lonely.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'm not discouraged.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_02]: I'm having background on just a pilgrim.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_02]: I'm in search of the city.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_02]: I want a mansion.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_02]: The horse and a crown, I've got a match and just over the hill top, in that bright land where we'll never grow old.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: And some day on you, we will never, or one, but will one, that street there is your risk going on.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Wasn't that a blessing?
