- 0:18Speaker 1: You know what I can't I can't control of that.
- 0:20Speaker 1: And and you know, listen, I've been I've been around
- 0:25Speaker 1: this league a long time, and you know, if it's
- 0:30Speaker 1: gonna happen, it's gonna happen, obviously. But but at the
- 0:33Speaker 1: same time, I still have a job to do, and
- 0:35Speaker 1: and and that's to you know, you know, get ready
- 0:39Speaker 1: for a you know, a good division opponent here in
- 0:42Speaker 1: two weeks.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Welcome to jag Xam.
- 0:45Speaker 3: I'm Kaanni Stevens, Brian Sexton, and John Osier are with
- 0:48Speaker 3: me this morning. That's head coach Doug Peterson responding to
- 0:51Speaker 3: questions about his coaching future as things go forward with
- 0:54Speaker 3: this team. A absolutely terrible performance against the Lines. We're
- 0:58Speaker 3: gonna start up with big things, which is effort list
- 1:00Speaker 3: the worst loss in franchise history. Brian, there's rumors, there's
- 1:03Speaker 3: reports about Doug Peterson going forward with this team.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Nothing official at this point.
- 1:08Speaker 3: When we talk about effort, we didn't see any of
- 1:10Speaker 3: it in that game.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Do you remember when I made the case that the
- 1:14Speaker 4: Bills Monday Night lost was the worst loss in franchise history.
- 1:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm not remembering that either.
- 1:19Speaker 4: There's no argument this is the most humbling, the most embarrassing,
- 1:23Speaker 4: the most difficult loss for anyone to swallow, and the
- 1:27Speaker 4: rumors that were swirling before the wolves are howling at
- 1:31Speaker 4: the door right now. And it doesn't surprise Doug. He's
- 1:34Speaker 4: been around this, and it doesn't surprise all the assistant
- 1:37Speaker 4: coaches who have to deal with it. It just doesn't
- 1:38Speaker 4: make it any easier, John, because the Lions they ran
- 1:42Speaker 4: a hook and ladder play. Those are at the end
- 1:45Speaker 4: of the game, right that's when you're trying to get
- 1:46Speaker 4: back into the game. They were beating you twenty one
- 1:49Speaker 4: to three and it was the second quarter, and they
- 1:51Speaker 4: did it because they said, we can do anything we
- 1:55Speaker 4: want today. And that's what it felt like that the
- 1:57Speaker 4: Jaguars were hapless. And you know, thirty years of covering
- 2:01Speaker 4: this football team, they've been bad at times, but hapless
- 2:04Speaker 4: is not.
- 2:04Speaker 5: A word I've ever used to describe them.
- 2:05Speaker 6: Yeah, they've had bad games, bad seasons.
- 2:09Speaker 5: I know a by Brian.
- 2:10Speaker 6: Your wife's in real estate, so they know about comps.
- 2:14Speaker 6: It's hard to find a market comp for this. It's
- 2:18Speaker 6: they scored every time they tried to score.
- 2:20Speaker 5: The Lions did.
- 2:21Speaker 6: And not only it wasn't big plays early, it was
- 2:25Speaker 6: We're gonna get eight and seven and eight. It looked
- 2:28Speaker 6: like a JV team playing its varsity team, and that's
- 2:31Speaker 6: not supposed to happen in the NFL. It was ridiculous
- 2:34Speaker 6: and anything more. But like I was thinking about what we're
- 2:37Speaker 6: gonna say on the show ran and it's it's hard
- 2:40Speaker 6: because the performance spoke for itself. Anything we say is
- 2:45Speaker 6: sort of piling on. Well, it's obvious you can't I
- 2:48Speaker 6: don't know that you can lose worse than that.
- 2:50Speaker 5: The score can be worse.
- 2:52Speaker 6: But I've never seen anything like it, So I'm not
- 2:55Speaker 6: sure what else I'm gonna say for a half hour,
- 2:57Speaker 6: but we'll give it a whirl. I've got one more
- 2:59Speaker 6: thing I want to add to this kind, and that
- 3:01Speaker 6: is you watch their offensive line, and they were always
- 3:05Speaker 6: four yards past the line of scrimmage involved in the play.
- 3:09Speaker 6: They play at a completely different level than we have
- 3:12Speaker 6: seen the Jaguars play at in all of twenty twenty four.
- 3:15Speaker 6: They are impressive to watch.
- 3:17Speaker 4: I think I said last week, I think that the
- 3:19Speaker 4: Lions are the best team in the NFL. Well, I
- 3:21Speaker 4: watched some of that Chiefs Bills game yesterday. The Lions
- 3:23Speaker 4: are the best team in the NFL.
- 3:25Speaker 3: It's not close. Let's go to our second big thing,
- 3:27Speaker 3: which is three and out again. We're going to do
- 3:29Speaker 3: our best effort to keep talking about this. John, I
- 3:31Speaker 3: know you love it. We talked about this offense getting
- 3:33Speaker 3: slow starts, but the last two weeks with Mac Jones
- 3:35Speaker 3: at quarterback, you've seen what Trevor Lawrence has been able
- 3:38Speaker 3: to do with this.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I already thought what.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Trevor was doing was impressive, and now when you look
- 3:43Speaker 3: at what they've done the last two weeks, you realize
- 3:44Speaker 3: he was doing a lot for this offense.
- 3:48Speaker 6: He's a starting quarterback. He's good, he's a sending all
- 3:50Speaker 6: the stuff we talked about, and Ma's a backup, and
- 3:54Speaker 6: there are certain throws. It appears for the last two
- 3:56Speaker 6: weeks that the defense doesn't have to respect downfield, and
- 4:01Speaker 6: then when he does go downfield, the result has been interceptions.
- 4:06Speaker 6: So I never really thought that there was a question.
- 4:10Speaker 6: I mean, when Trevor was quote struggling, Oh, let's try
- 4:14Speaker 6: Eimac to Trevor is the starting quarterback. And I guess
- 4:18Speaker 6: for people outside the team, the statistics are so stark
- 4:23Speaker 6: the difference that they realize it now. But it was
- 4:27Speaker 6: never a question here.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Trevor is a starting quarterback. You have to help him.
- 4:32Speaker 4: You have to build a better offensive line for him.
- 4:34Speaker 4: You've got to be able to run the ball better
- 4:36Speaker 4: for him to be as good as he wants to be.
- 4:38Speaker 4: And you obviously have got to figure out something on defense.
- 4:40Speaker 4: I mean, that's a long laundry list. Three and out again,
- 4:44Speaker 4: it's become their personality kind that when you need the
- 4:48Speaker 4: offense to give the defense a break, just go and
- 4:51Speaker 4: control the ball for a few minutes. They go three
- 4:54Speaker 4: and out after each of the Lions' first two touchdown drives,
- 4:58Speaker 4: and there were seven consecutive, which still baggles my mind.
- 5:01Speaker 5: The offense goes three and outs. Part of that is
- 5:04Speaker 5: play calling.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Part of it is execution, but that the third part
- 5:08Speaker 4: of it is it's it's become who this offense is.
- 5:11Speaker 4: It wasn't good the last month, early in the first
- 5:13Speaker 4: half of any of those games. But if Trevor Lawrence
- 5:17Speaker 4: is in there, at least you think you have a chance.
- 5:19Speaker 3: You didn't yesterday ran You talk about how the lines
- 5:22Speaker 3: make everything look easy, the Jaguars make everything look difficult.
- 5:25Speaker 3: That's our final big thing today as we look at
- 5:28Speaker 3: how difficult things work for the defense. Josh Heinz Allen
- 5:30Speaker 3: talked after.
- 5:31Speaker 5: The game, today was not our day.
- 5:34Speaker 7: Moving forward, man, I think we have a better message
- 5:37Speaker 7: going tomorrow. Right now, everybody's lost for words, trying to
- 5:39Speaker 7: figure out what to say, what what's going on?
- 5:42Speaker 2: What it is is?
- 5:43Speaker 7: You know right now it's point it's it's it's almost
- 5:45Speaker 7: like point the finger. But instead of us getting to
- 5:48Speaker 7: that point, we just need to not be emotional. Wait
- 5:51Speaker 7: till tomorrow, watch the tape, triggure out what it is
- 5:54Speaker 7: and move forward from there and uh, then we can
- 5:57Speaker 7: talk about what the heck cammunity to do better. But again,
- 5:59Speaker 7: like I said, Earl, today was.
- 6:00Speaker 5: Not our day.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Ermy today was yesterday. It was not their day.
- 6:04Speaker 3: That's for Suair Brian and talk about loss for words,
- 6:06Speaker 3: trying to figure something out. We know things aren't working
- 6:08Speaker 3: at this point, and I don't know if we have
- 6:11Speaker 3: the words either, but we're gonna try.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Listen, people want someone fired, they want someone cut. The
- 6:18Speaker 4: problem with that is is not starting, it's stopping. I mean,
- 6:22Speaker 4: because you can point the finger of blame across so
- 6:24Speaker 4: many different places that aren't working. The defensive line, the
- 6:27Speaker 4: interior of the defensive line was on its back all
- 6:31Speaker 4: day long, all day long. The corners, I mean, looks
- 6:35Speaker 4: that passing attack is outstanding and the league is set
- 6:38Speaker 4: up for the passing attack.
- 6:39Speaker 5: Those corners were just where to go? Where do who go?
- 6:42Speaker 4: Same thing on offense, the offensive line couldn't move anybody
- 6:45Speaker 4: off the ball on third down and short the quarterback.
- 6:48Speaker 4: I mean, just that's the problem right now, is that
- 6:51Speaker 4: the Jaguars lack something John that they can absolutely say, well,
- 6:55Speaker 4: we can do this. We can always count on being
- 6:58Speaker 4: able to throw the ball to Evan in room or
- 7:00Speaker 4: create some room for Traves Etn to find a cutback
- 7:04Speaker 4: lane and great, you know, game three or four yards,
- 7:08Speaker 4: you're just left with a pile of what is this?
- 7:10Speaker 6: Yeah, they did get the ball to BTJ yesterday, so okay,
- 7:15Speaker 6: that's a bright spot for the future. Earlier. I'm not
- 7:19Speaker 6: at all saying you shouldn't got the ball to BTJ,
- 7:21Speaker 6: but it's so hard to find. It's not even a
- 7:23Speaker 6: silver Lions. It's okay, they did it. Look it's it's uh.
- 7:29Speaker 6: I I think shod Con has to be careful. This
- 7:36Speaker 6: is such a rain of sadness or of criticism, that's
- 7:43Speaker 6: to be careful let's not do anything based on that,
- 7:46Speaker 6: right and not. This is why owners don't make quick
- 7:52Speaker 6: Hey I'm gonna do this right now. So I get
- 7:54Speaker 6: why there was nothing done last night after the game
- 7:56Speaker 6: post game every fans right all, why haven't they been
- 7:59Speaker 6: fired yet? He has to be measured and he has
- 8:03Speaker 6: to decide what's best long term. So I our emotion
- 8:10Speaker 6: is sort of what caused me to think that way.
- 8:12Speaker 6: I guess, Hey, don't make emotional decisions, be measured and
- 8:17Speaker 6: make sure you do it's best for the franchis.
- 8:18Speaker 5: You still have six games to play.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Right right, I mean, if you start just throwing people out,
- 8:23Speaker 4: you've got to be functional. And John bears noting you
- 8:26Speaker 4: want your quarterback because you expect that Trevor Lawrence might
- 8:29Speaker 4: be back in two weeks and Brian Thomas Junior and
- 8:32Speaker 4: Tank Bigsby. You want some of these young players to
- 8:35Speaker 4: make the most of the final six weeks, to come
- 8:37Speaker 4: away with some development, some things that you can feel
- 8:40Speaker 4: good about. I know that seems ridiculous after fifty two
- 8:44Speaker 4: to six, but you got six more games in seven weeks.
- 8:47Speaker 4: If you just say, you know, push the button, pulled
- 8:50Speaker 4: the rip cord, everyone's out or at least key players.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Are you risk the development of some of these guys
- 8:55Speaker 4: at least not taking advantage of it?
- 8:58Speaker 6: Well said better than I said.
- 9:00Speaker 2: We appreciate Brian's words always sure. Stay with us here

- 9:34Speaker 3: z Am today. A very tough one to watch yesterday.
- 9:36Speaker 3: So we're gonna talk this all out. Maybe have a
- 9:38Speaker 3: little therapy session.
- 9:39Speaker 5: Here, Rosie, who gets some laid back on the couch.
- 9:42Speaker 3: I think we're all we m we all might need
- 9:43Speaker 3: a break at some point today, So let's talk this out. Brian, uh,
- 9:47Speaker 3: John and I got the pleasure of watching this in person.
- 9:49Speaker 2: You got to watch this at home.
- 9:51Speaker 3: We're not gonna run through everything because I don't particularly
- 9:54Speaker 3: wanna watch it all again, but let's start with I
- 9:56Speaker 3: think this drive specifically is the second touchdown drive for
- 9:59Speaker 3: the Lions. Showed a little bit of everything, and it
- 10:02Speaker 3: showed me how well this team has been built. John
- 10:06Speaker 3: audibly reacting when we saw this run from Montgomery off
- 10:10Speaker 3: the top. I believe it was and just they could
- 10:15Speaker 3: do whatever they wanted and in every aspect of the game.
- 10:19Speaker 6: Well there I got right key plays for every game.
- 10:24Speaker 6: And what struck me yesterday and writing about this when
- 10:28Speaker 6: the game was in the balance, Brian, there were no
- 10:30Speaker 6: key plays, No, it was just I wondered how you
- 10:32Speaker 6: were going to do eight. It was just devastating drives.
- 10:37Speaker 6: It's very rare to go to length of the field
- 10:39Speaker 6: and then run the ball into the end zone inside
- 10:43Speaker 6: the ten, just at will, and it's because usually the
- 10:49Speaker 6: other team will stop you and force throws for some creativity.
- 10:55Speaker 6: This was just doing this right, I mean, this was
- 10:57Speaker 6: just I am better than you are. And really that's
- 11:03Speaker 6: the analysis of the game. Everything else we're gonna be
- 11:06Speaker 6: talking about is sort of filling air, right, because that
- 11:10Speaker 6: was the difference. So stark of this is a better,
- 11:14Speaker 6: more physical team and therefore they did what they wanted to.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Do, and then the Jaguars compounded it with and we
- 11:22Speaker 4: saw in that whole.
- 11:23Speaker 5: Series horrible tackling.
- 11:25Speaker 4: I mean, Ronald Darby had a shot at form tackling,
- 11:29Speaker 4: breaking down and taking Montgomery down for probably a two
- 11:33Speaker 4: yard gain, and it turned out to be a nine
- 11:35Speaker 4: yard game because he went in there with one arm out.
- 11:38Speaker 4: I mean, if you haven't played football, you know you're
- 11:41Speaker 4: not gonna tackle an NFL running back with one arm.
- 11:44Speaker 5: It's not gonna happen.
- 11:45Speaker 6: Here's what also struck you, right, I mean interrupt. It
- 11:50Speaker 6: was fifty two to six, and turnovers were not a
- 11:53Speaker 6: factor though, Yeah, Ryons forced one turnover, and it was
- 11:57Speaker 6: on the Jaguars, like what I mean, it was on
- 11:58Speaker 6: their own like two or three. There was no field
- 12:01Speaker 6: position flip. It was just we got the ball at
- 12:03Speaker 6: the twenty five and now we're gonna go down score.
- 12:05Speaker 4: Well, if I'm the head coach and I'm meeting with
- 12:07Speaker 4: my defensive coordinator today, and I would be meeting with
- 12:09Speaker 4: my defensive coordinator today, I'm looking at these drives. There
- 12:12Speaker 4: was one drive I think it was fifty four yards
- 12:14Speaker 4: and every other one was seventy yards or longer, including
- 12:16Speaker 4: two that were ninety yards or longer. It was just
- 12:20Speaker 4: they did anything they want. At one point they ran
- 12:23Speaker 4: the hook in the ladder in the second quarter. It
- 12:25Speaker 4: was as if they were laughing at you.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Let's take a look at that hooking ladder, right, don't.
- 12:29Speaker 5: We I figured that was going to be on the list.
- 12:31Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, just misdirection plays, just doing whatever they
- 12:34Speaker 3: wanted to do. I think third or fourth touchdown. Hard
- 12:37Speaker 3: to keep track at this point, but yeah, they're doing
- 12:40Speaker 3: whatever they wanted and that was not great to see
- 12:42Speaker 3: and just and for me, it was we'd seen a
- 12:45Speaker 3: lot of effort out of everybody for the last month
- 12:48Speaker 3: or so, even with the dire situation that they were in.
- 12:51Speaker 3: But we had seen them be in these games and
- 12:53Speaker 3: one possession games. This was not even close to that,
- 12:56Speaker 3: and it was clear from the jump that it wasn't
- 12:58Speaker 3: going to be.
- 12:58Speaker 2: I think we all had a little feeling going in.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Obviously the Lions are one of, if not the best
- 13:02Speaker 3: team in the league. But just see no resistance whatsoever.
- 13:05Speaker 3: It was it was I think obviously the team felt
- 13:08Speaker 3: that too.
- 13:08Speaker 6: Yeah, and I think once I don't think you go
- 13:12Speaker 6: in planning to have it be that way. It struck
- 13:15Speaker 6: you as a game where they went down and got
- 13:18Speaker 6: the early field goal, Okay, well here we go, and
- 13:20Speaker 6: then the defense it just felt like collectively realized on
- 13:25Speaker 6: the first drive, Oh, they're going to do this, and
- 13:31Speaker 6: somewhere that three percent of you gets a little bit deflated.
- 13:35Speaker 6: And that's all it takes in this league. So it's
- 13:38Speaker 6: you know, I don't believe NFL players quit, but I
- 13:41Speaker 6: do believe that they can lose their will a bit.
- 13:45Speaker 6: And it looked like it lost its will yesterday. That's
- 13:48Speaker 6: just watching it. And I don't know how you interpret
- 13:51Speaker 6: what happened on the field yesterday.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Well I couldn't interpret it because I wasn't there. But
- 13:54Speaker 4: I'll take you this their offensive line, and we're going
- 13:59Speaker 4: to stop talking about this game, I think today. So
- 14:02Speaker 4: I'm gonna let me hit this with a hammer as
- 14:03Speaker 4: hard as I can. Their offensive line is so much
- 14:07Speaker 4: more physical. They play right on the edge of the whistle.
- 14:10Speaker 4: There is a nastiness that brings in the personality of
- 14:13Speaker 4: Dan Campbell, and the Jaguars had no resistance whatsoever. I
- 14:18Speaker 4: watched Devon Hamilton two weeks ago in Philadelphia play maybe
- 14:22Speaker 4: his best game, not just this year, but of his career.
- 14:25Speaker 4: He was so disrupted in the middle of the field.
- 14:28Speaker 4: I thought that's a good sign. Yesterday it was he
- 14:32Speaker 4: was literally like a blocking sled and just pushed any
- 14:36Speaker 4: which way and not by an all pro guard, right,
- 14:40Speaker 4: And I don't mean to just single him out, but
- 14:42Speaker 4: it was just so obvious that a guy who had
- 14:44Speaker 4: played so well two weeks ago didn't have the resistance
- 14:47Speaker 4: in two weeks time.
- 14:49Speaker 3: I think it's extra frustrating for fans. I dare to
- 14:52Speaker 3: speak for them that to see the lines put this
- 14:54Speaker 3: together in the same amount of time that the Jaguars
- 14:56Speaker 3: have been trying to rebuild themselves as well.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Just throwing a massive log on the phone.
- 15:00Speaker 3: But it hurts extra when you see it because you're like, wow,
- 15:02Speaker 3: they've had three years to do so look what they
- 15:04Speaker 3: have built in that time, Look what they've drafted. Look
- 15:07Speaker 3: the culture of that team, and you see it and
- 15:09Speaker 3: it works so well, and you just want it for yourself.
- 15:12Speaker 3: And I think going forward, at least for us, we
- 15:14Speaker 3: need to look at who we want and who we
- 15:16Speaker 3: want to build around, you know, effort, right, So I'm
- 15:21Speaker 3: watching this team blow out the Jaguars. Ventral Miller diving
- 15:26Speaker 3: to save this play that we're going to see here
- 15:28Speaker 3: gives with that huge run. That's someone we talked about.
- 15:30Speaker 3: I need to look for a silver lining. I'm looking
- 15:32Speaker 3: at who I want to build with. Watching that game,
- 15:34Speaker 3: it's so easy to give up on that. But to
- 15:36Speaker 3: see someone put an effort like that.
- 15:38Speaker 5: He's listen, he is terrific.
- 15:40Speaker 4: I started making a list of the guys that I
- 15:43Speaker 4: wanted to carry forward, and there were ten that I
- 15:46Speaker 4: was really excited about, which maybe more than the average
- 15:49Speaker 4: listener the viewer this morning is thinking about. But there
- 15:51Speaker 4: are some good players on this roster who have been
- 15:54Speaker 4: lost in the wash of a season that is just
- 15:58Speaker 4: absolutely gone. Andre Miller runs and hits and makes plays.
- 16:04Speaker 4: I mean, if he doesn't dive, this is a touchdown.
- 16:08Speaker 4: If he doesn't get him off his feet, Jamior Gibbs
- 16:11Speaker 4: scores on that play, they ended up scoring anyway. But
- 16:15Speaker 4: Ventre Miller is a terrific football player, and.
- 16:17Speaker 3: For me, that's the focus. That's someone you want on
- 16:19Speaker 3: your team. That's someone he would thrive on a Dan
- 16:21Speaker 3: Campbells team. He's someone that is that same sort of energy,
- 16:24Speaker 3: and that's what you need.
- 16:25Speaker 4: Yeah, listen, this football team needs.
- 16:29Speaker 6: More of that.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Though, yeah, a lot more.
- 16:32Speaker 5: I was trying to think of the right way to
- 16:33Speaker 5: say it.
- 16:33Speaker 2: It's more of that.
- 16:34Speaker 3: All right, We're not gonna watch any more of this
- 16:36Speaker 3: because I don't think anybody is going to enjoy that.
- 16:38Speaker 3: But we are going to come back after this break
- 16:39Speaker 3: talk about our hot takes and what we think going forward.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Welcome back to jag Zam, brought to you by Firehouse Subs.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Check out their new hot sauce bar that's been brought back,
- 16:53Speaker 3: and of course Firehouse Subs also bringing you your hot
- 16:55Speaker 3: takes today. I don't know how hot they're going to be,
- 16:59Speaker 3: but we try. I had to be creative for you
- 17:01Speaker 3: at least give you some sort of entertainment. So, Brian,
- 17:03Speaker 3: what is your hot?
- 17:04Speaker 4: Was in my game up in an emotional homeward because
- 17:07Speaker 4: it's important to know that the last three weeks, right
- 17:09Speaker 4: against the Packers, Eagles, and Vikings, I wouldn't have said
- 17:12Speaker 4: this because it looked like the Jaguars were just not
- 17:14Speaker 4: as good as those teams and they lost close games.
- 17:17Speaker 4: But yesterday I felt as if the Jaguars didn't belong
- 17:20Speaker 4: on the same field with the Lions, and clearly the
- 17:22Speaker 4: score would indicate that they do not. Now, if Trevor plays,
- 17:27Speaker 4: you know, maybe you're better than fifty two to six,
- 17:30Speaker 4: but what is it fifty two to twenty four. If
- 17:33Speaker 4: this was a premier league, the Jaguars would be in
- 17:35Speaker 4: danger of relegation because yesterday it just looked like they
- 17:40Speaker 4: were playing against was it Manchester United or man City?
- 17:44Speaker 4: I mean, the best of the best, and they were
- 17:47Speaker 4: not up to the challenge whatsoever. The Jaguars are lucky
- 17:50Speaker 4: that the NFL doesn't have a second tier.
- 17:51Speaker 6: Yeah, and they relegate the last three teams, and right
- 17:54Speaker 6: now this is the last team, so I expect that
- 17:58Speaker 6: could change, but right now they're they're there. I wasn't
- 18:02Speaker 6: very creative, but my hot take was it's as bad
- 18:06Speaker 6: as it gets.
- 18:06Speaker 5: I mean it's I said that last week.
- 18:08Speaker 3: I was just gonna say, but John is.
- 18:13Speaker 6: My point is, you can't get be worse than this.
- 18:17Speaker 6: In the NFL. They scored every time they tried to score,
- 18:20Speaker 6: and then you had a fifty nine yard field goal
- 18:23Speaker 6: which got credit to Cam literally hit it, but one
- 18:27Speaker 6: of your points you needed a franchise record long field goal.
- 18:31Speaker 6: So it's I'm not even in the mood to hammer
- 18:35Speaker 6: it anymore. It was a ridiculously bad performance, and I
- 18:40Speaker 6: mean it's I'm not sure where you go from.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Well, here's where we could both be wrong and it
- 18:45Speaker 4: could be worse. Is you don't get Trevor Lawrence back
- 18:47Speaker 4: and against the softer part of your schedule, right, I
- 18:50Speaker 4: mean the Jets and the Titans and the Raiders. These
- 18:52Speaker 4: are teams that are in the same situation as you are.
- 18:55Speaker 4: You don't find a way to climb out of that,
- 18:56Speaker 4: So it could theoretically still not be good.
- 19:00Speaker 3: That would be third number one pick in five years.
- 19:04Speaker 3: All right, Well mine is a little bit different, So
- 19:07Speaker 3: that's very hot, Tache. It's more of a shout out
- 19:08Speaker 3: to social media. I'm gonna laugh to keep from crying.
- 19:11Speaker 3: I just want to thank Jaguars Twitter, because you are
- 19:13Speaker 3: the funniest fan base I've ever been around. You have
- 19:16Speaker 3: a sense of self deprecating humor that I very much enjoy.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Thank you for the memes, thank you for the gifts.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Thank you for keeping this light, because it's not light
- 19:24Speaker 3: and it stinks right now and.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I'm really thankful.
- 19:26Speaker 3: So if you haven't, go find something funny to laugh
- 19:29Speaker 3: about today.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Because the game was not good.
- 19:31Speaker 5: Yeah, I wanted to watch more football last night, I
- 19:34Speaker 5: just turned it off.
- 19:35Speaker 4: I guess it was a great game in the Cincinnati
- 19:38Speaker 4: LA Chargers game, and I just couldn't even bear to
- 19:40Speaker 4: watch it. So I think I'm avoid football this week.
- 19:44Speaker 3: It's a bye week, so that would be a good
- 19:45Speaker 3: week to do that. Say, let's here, we'll talk to
- 19:47Speaker 3: you about what's coming up before the bye week kicks in.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Jags fans, if.

- 20:13Speaker 8: It is the reality of this business, you know, obviously,
- 20:17Speaker 8: you know it's not something anybody wishes for. You know,
- 20:21Speaker 8: you've got so much love for everybody in this locker
- 20:23Speaker 8: room and on this team. It's not something you wish for,
- 20:26Speaker 8: but it's the reality. You know, we're not winning, and
- 20:28Speaker 8: so you know, it is what it is.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I'm anoid talking about changes.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I imagine we will see some changes going forward at
- 20:36Speaker 3: some point with this scene, because things are not working
- 20:38Speaker 3: right now, so I don't know when that's going to be.
- 20:41Speaker 2: It's a bye week, guys, that's we have. We will
- 20:43Speaker 2: have a we'll have a break this weekend. I think
- 20:45Speaker 2: that's needed.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Yeah, listen, the wolves start howling at the door, and
- 20:48Speaker 4: you you you can't get them to leave until you win,
- 20:51Speaker 4: and that means you don't have another shot until the
- 20:54Speaker 4: Sunday after Thanksgiving. And there is a discontentment angst the
- 21:00Speaker 4: fan base. You mentioned them on social media that we'll
- 21:03Speaker 4: just keep ratcheting up the pressure. The owner can't be
- 21:08Speaker 4: happy with this anyway, so it just it just makes
- 21:10Speaker 4: it feel as if something's coming, But don't have any idea.
- 21:13Speaker 6: We're there again, That's what it is.
- 21:17Speaker 3: We are here from head coach, a little bit later
- 21:20Speaker 3: here from the locker room. We will be back on
- 21:22Speaker 3: Wednesday with you. If you want to hear some more,
- 21:24Speaker 3: have some more therapy happy hour tonight. Check that out
- 21:27Speaker 3: with Pete and Tony. I'm sure they will have a
- 21:29Speaker 3: lot to say. If not, we'll see you on Wednesday.
