- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice. Hello, and they were now welcome to the Naughty
- 0:16Speaker 1: but nice show. I'm your host, rob shooter. Today you've
- 0:18Speaker 1: got a very special episode of the Naughty but nice show.
- 0:22Speaker 1: It is Queen Elizabeth's funeral, so today we're going to
- 0:24Speaker 1: be just covering all the Royal News. We're certainly going
- 0:29Speaker 1: to handle it, hopefully in a respectful way, but we've
- 0:32Speaker 1: also got some fun stories to today's episode is a
- 0:36Speaker 1: tribute to Queen Lizabeth. What time is it, my friends?
- 0:40Speaker 1: It is royal tea time. She loved a cup of tea.
- 0:45Speaker 1: So Harry and William are trying their best to get
- 0:50Speaker 1: along while mourning the Queen. So the two have found
- 0:54Speaker 1: it difficult being in each other's company over the past
- 0:59Speaker 1: couple of day is the two brothers, who became estranged
- 1:04Speaker 1: for a number of years after Harry stepped out of
- 1:09Speaker 1: the Royal Family, have been forced to spend some time
- 1:12Speaker 1: together since their grandmother's death on September eight. A source
- 1:18Speaker 1: close to Harry told The Sunday London Times of Fancy
- 1:23Speaker 1: newspaper that although being in each other's company has been
- 1:28Speaker 1: uncomfortable at times, everybody, everybody is trying their best to
- 1:34Speaker 1: get along Prince William and Prince Harry's relationship has been tenuous,
- 1:40Speaker 1: and that's putting it nicely, although they are reportedly trying
- 1:45Speaker 1: their best to get along following the death of the Queen,
- 1:50Speaker 1: the new Prince of Wales, that's Williams new title, and
- 1:53Speaker 1: the Duke of Sussex. They delighted fans last week when
- 1:57Speaker 1: they appeared together, along with their wives, Kate Middleton and
- 2:02Speaker 1: Megan Martel, to view the flowers and the tributes and
- 2:05Speaker 1: the cards that were laid outside of Windsor Castle in
- 2:09Speaker 1: honor of the late monarch. We know that this was
- 2:12Speaker 1: William's idea. So William and Kate were meant to do
- 2:16Speaker 1: this by themselves. They were going to come out of
- 2:18Speaker 1: the gates, meet the well wishers, the public look at
- 2:21Speaker 1: some of the flowers. In about an hour before they
- 2:24Speaker 1: were scheduled to do this, it was William who texted
- 2:28Speaker 1: Harry and said, why don't you and Megan join us?
- 2:32Speaker 1: It was an olive branch and so they did do it,
- 2:36Speaker 1: and that's the first time the four of them have
- 2:38Speaker 1: been seen together, all together, united in a very, very
- 2:42Speaker 1: long time. So yes, the body language was a little
- 2:47Speaker 1: bit awkward. Kate and Megan. They both appeared to be
- 2:51Speaker 1: particularly uncomfortable during the reunion, but they did it. You've
- 2:55Speaker 1: got to start somewhere. Also too, on Tuesday, the former
- 3:00Speaker 1: Fab four seemingly put on a united front when they
- 3:05Speaker 1: sat down for dinner together and another royal family event.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It was dinner with other royal family members after receiving
- 3:15Speaker 1: Queen Elizabeth's coffin and Buckingham Palace. So there was a
- 3:19Speaker 1: dinner for the family. Harry and Megan were invited to
- 3:24Speaker 1: that and they all seemed to get along, the two brothers.
- 3:28Speaker 1: This is my favorite moment, though, and I don't think
- 3:31Speaker 1: people know that this actually happened. There was another brief
- 3:35Speaker 1: encounter last week's far away from the cameras. Nobody really
- 3:40Speaker 1: knows this happened, but William, I love this about him.
- 3:42Speaker 1: He's a great dad and he was dropping his kids
- 3:45Speaker 1: off at school. He was dropping off George and Charlotte
- 3:48Speaker 1: and Louis at school and he drove past Megan and Harry,
- 3:53Speaker 1: who were in a separate car. Then they stopped, they reversed,
- 3:58Speaker 1: they rolled down their window and they had a brief chat.
- 4:01Speaker 1: They're literally leaving five minutes away from each other on
- 4:05Speaker 1: the estate of Windsor so, dropping the kids up from school.
- 4:08Speaker 1: WHO TURNS AROUND THE CORNER IN HIS CAR? There he was.
- 4:12Speaker 1: It was Harry, it was Megan and they started and
- 4:15Speaker 1: they chatted to this chance encounter Isnutnder, the reason that
- 4:20Speaker 1: we can be optimistic about all this. So the two
- 4:22Speaker 1: have been really frosty, haven't they? Since two thousand and nineteen,
- 4:26Speaker 1: when Harry shared in an interview that he and William
- 4:29Speaker 1: were certainly on different paths, and those paths have become
- 4:34Speaker 1: even further apart. The relationship really receded, though, let's be honest,
- 4:39Speaker 1: when Harry and Megan sat down and did the bombshell
- 4:43Speaker 1: interview with Oprah Winfrey. That was a tough one, that
- 4:47Speaker 1: and so that's when things got really, really nasty. But
- 4:51Speaker 1: baby steps, baby stems. This is all going to help. Yes,
- 4:54Speaker 1: it's really awkward, but at least it's the beginning. Also, too,
- 4:57Speaker 1: I thought this was lovely. King Charles was the on
- 5:00Speaker 1: the authorized Prince Harry could wear his military uniform to
- 5:05Speaker 1: the visual. So it was Charles himself that gave permission
- 5:09Speaker 1: to the ex royal, his son, to put on his
- 5:12Speaker 1: military uniform for the visual. They said this was the
- 5:16Speaker 1: king's request. It was the king that decided. He wanted
- 5:20Speaker 1: Harry to put on the uniform. His mom the Queen,
- 5:23Speaker 1: said No. His mom the Queen had stripped him of
- 5:26Speaker 1: all his military titles when he quits Royal Life in
- 5:30Speaker 1: twenty twenty. A source told the Daily Mirror that the
- 5:34Speaker 1: situation was really ludicrous, given that Prince Harry had served
- 5:39Speaker 1: ten years, ten years in the army, including two active
- 5:44Speaker 1: tours of Afghanistan, and he also to establish the INVICTOR's games.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I love this. Harry did not request this. When he
- 5:53Speaker 1: was told he couldn't wear his military uniform, he was
- 5:56Speaker 1: okay with it. It was disappointed. He's probably a bit angry,
- 5:59Speaker 1: but he was going to be okay with it, but
- 6:01Speaker 1: the dad stepped in and I think that's another sign
- 6:04Speaker 1: that hopefully, this family is healing. which brings us to
- 6:07Speaker 1: our poll question of the day. Prince William and Prince
- 6:10Speaker 1: Harry are trying their best to get along. It's awkward,
- 6:13Speaker 1: but they're trying the best to get along. One morning
- 6:16Speaker 1: the Queen. Do you think these two brothers will ever
- 6:20Speaker 1: be friends again? Can they fix this? Go vote on
- 6:24Speaker 1: a page at Naughty Knights Rob a facebook page is
- 6:27Speaker 1: naughty oslip and be sure to check back tomorrow and
- 6:29Speaker 1: we have a regular show. Mrs Back and we're back
- 6:32Speaker 1: to our regular celebrity gossip. Hey, moving along. So, although
- 6:36Speaker 1: he did wear that uniform for the visual there was
- 6:39Speaker 1: something missing from it, maybe even a hidden insult. I know,
- 6:44Speaker 1: there's always drama, isn't it? So both Harry and William
- 6:48Speaker 1: They wore the uniform. It's actually got a fancy title.
- 6:51Speaker 1: It's called the blues and royals number one dress uniform.
- 6:56Speaker 1: They wore it at the at the king's request. However,
- 6:59Speaker 1: there was something missing from Harry's uniform. The Queen, the
- 7:04Speaker 1: late Queen's Royal Cipher, her initials, E R, were not
- 7:10Speaker 1: on Harry's uniform. The Eagle eyed royal watchers, including me,
- 7:15Speaker 1: noticed that William he had on his uniform, Harry did not.
- 7:19Speaker 1: A source told The Times of London that Harry was
- 7:22Speaker 1: heartbroken that they were removed. His grandmother's initials were removed
- 7:28Speaker 1: and it was very intentional. It was not an accident.
- 7:30Speaker 1: They were removed on purpose and he was heartbroken about that.
- 7:35Speaker 1: But at the same time too, he was happy to
- 7:37Speaker 1: be back in his military uniform. My insiders tell me
- 7:42Speaker 1: this meant so much to Harry. One of the things
- 7:45Speaker 1: that he missed most about stepping away from the family
- 7:49Speaker 1: was getting stripped of all his military titles, all the
- 7:53Speaker 1: work he did his uniform. As I said, he was
- 7:57Speaker 1: in the military for over ten years. So he was
- 8:00Speaker 1: allowed to wear the uniform, but the Queen's initials, E
- 8:03Speaker 1: R had been stripped. I know. Hey moving along, sir.
- 8:09Speaker 1: President Biden and the first lady paid their respects to
- 8:13Speaker 1: Queen Elizabeth at Westminster Hall before the funeral. So President
- 8:18Speaker 1: Biden and the first lady paid their respects to Queen
- 8:22Speaker 1: Elizabeth on Sunday. Yesterday. They visited her coffin in London's
- 8:27Speaker 1: Westminster Hall. That's basically the houses of parliament where she
- 8:31Speaker 1: is currently laying. In states, tens of thousands of people
- 8:38Speaker 1: have cycled through to say their final goodbyes. In fact,
- 8:42Speaker 1: estimates now I think it's over a million people. While
- 8:45Speaker 1: the Queen's coffin lay on display in Westminster Hall. And
- 8:50Speaker 1: although the bidens did not have to wait online, some
- 8:53Speaker 1: Brits waited twenty four hours. They got a v I
- 8:56Speaker 1: P entrance Mr Biden. President Biden was not wait in
- 9:00Speaker 1: a lied but he did pay his respects. We saw
- 9:04Speaker 1: Biden make a sign of the cross when when he
- 9:08Speaker 1: arrived and he placed his hand, I was lovely, over
- 9:11Speaker 1: his heart to pay respect. The president was filmed on
- 9:16Speaker 1: the balcony overlooking the later monarch's coffin and he was
- 9:20Speaker 1: joined by the first lady, and visitors continued to enter
- 9:25Speaker 1: the hall below. In fact, I'm told a lot of
- 9:28Speaker 1: visitors didn't look up. They had no idea the president
- 9:32Speaker 1: of the United States was with them in that hall,
- 9:37Speaker 1: the President and the first lady. They arrived on Saturday
- 9:40Speaker 1: in London and they're going to stay until late Monday
- 9:43Speaker 1: because they are attending the funeral. The bidens also signed
- 9:48Speaker 1: the official condolence book for the Queen in Lancaster House
- 9:53Speaker 1: on Sunday and then they went to Buckingham Palace for
- 9:58Speaker 1: a reception with dignitaries, including the new king. This story
- 10:06Speaker 1: is so interesting. Guy, I can't wait to know what
- 10:09Speaker 1: you think about this. So Kat and William are talking
- 10:12Speaker 1: about taking George and Charlotte to the Queen's funerals. So
- 10:15Speaker 1: we will know whether or not they decided to do
- 10:18Speaker 1: this in just moments, in just moments when the funeral starts.
- 10:23Speaker 1: So Prince William and Kater considering taking Georgia and Charlotte
- 10:28Speaker 1: to the funeral. So Charlotte's now seven, Georgie is nine,
- 10:32Speaker 1: the new Prince and Princess of Wales. I love those
- 10:36Speaker 1: new titles. They're debating this and thinking maybe the children
- 10:40Speaker 1: should be able to say farewell to their great grandmother.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Now we do know a little. Louis, the Naughty One,
- 10:48Speaker 1: I love him, is four years old after his antics
- 10:51Speaker 1: in the crowd at the queen's Jubilie, and Jude is
- 10:55Speaker 1: believed that he's probably too young to attend. Source said
- 10:59Speaker 1: the royal a couple are still debating it. Sometimes they
- 11:02Speaker 1: say yes, sometimes they say no. Are The children going
- 11:05Speaker 1: to be in the way? Are they going to be naughty?
- 11:07Speaker 1: But they are now second and third in line to
- 11:11Speaker 1: the throne. So after Prince Charles, it's Prince William and
- 11:15Speaker 1: then it's George and then it's Charlotte. So Palace insidence
- 11:18Speaker 1: that they wouldn't confirm ahead of time if the kids
- 11:21Speaker 1: are going to be there, but we will find out
- 11:23Speaker 1: in just minutes. Prince William is reassuring fans that Queen Elizabeth,
- 11:30Speaker 1: his grandmother, had beloved Corgi is are just fine. Oh
- 11:34Speaker 1: this is good news, isn't it? So He surprised mourners
- 11:37Speaker 1: outside Westminster Hall, where some of them have been waiting
- 11:40Speaker 1: twenty four hours to pay respects to Queen Elizabeth, on
- 11:44Speaker 1: Saturday and one person had a question that we're all
- 11:48Speaker 1: talking about. They asked how are the late Queen's beloved
- 11:52Speaker 1: Corgi is faring? How are the dogs? He said the
- 11:56Speaker 1: following quote. I saw them the other day here and
- 11:59Speaker 1: he said that they are being very well looked after.
- 12:03Speaker 1: They're doing just fine and they're two very friendly corgis
- 12:08Speaker 1: and he said they've got a good home and they're
- 12:10Speaker 1: being well looked after. It is well known the Queen
- 12:13Speaker 1: Elizabeth harbored a lifelong adoration for her dogs, particularly Corgis.
- 12:20Speaker 1: When she died at the age of ninety six she
- 12:23Speaker 1: had two left. She had mick and she also had sandy,
- 12:27Speaker 1: but she also had a coca spandel. It was quite
- 12:31Speaker 1: old actually. I think she's the Coca Spaniel Sixteen called lysie.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Another one of her pubs, unfortunately, which was a docks
- 12:39Speaker 1: and Corgy mists, named candy, passed away just a few
- 12:43Speaker 1: months before the Queen did so. So now the corgis.
- 12:46Speaker 1: We know they are living with the Queen's son, that
- 12:48Speaker 1: disgraced Prince Andrew, and his ex wife, Sarah Ferguson. They
- 12:52Speaker 1: are all living together in a shared residence. CAN BELIEVE IT?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Even though they're divorced, they do live in the same
- 12:57Speaker 1: house in Windsor, as obviously reported here on the naughty
- 13:01Speaker 1: but night show, back in Queen Elizabeth received her very
- 13:07Speaker 1: first cookie. DOOKIE dookie was the name, and the Pooch
- 13:12Speaker 1: was gifted to her when she was just seven years
- 13:14Speaker 1: old by her father, King George. Oh, I'm so happy
- 13:19Speaker 1: that dogs are doing just fine. Hey, this story is
- 13:24Speaker 1: just lovely. So, while Prince William was talking to the
- 13:27Speaker 1: people in the lines, he said that the Queen would
- 13:30Speaker 1: never believe the number of mourners that have come to
- 13:33Speaker 1: pay their respect. He he said he was quite emotional
- 13:36Speaker 1: and he just saw the vast amount of people, all
- 13:39Speaker 1: the mourners to who wanted to get a view of
- 13:41Speaker 1: the Queen's Carfin. He said the following to a well wisher.
- 13:45Speaker 1: She would never have believed this. It seems to be
- 13:48Speaker 1: uniting everybody and bringing everybody together. We need that at
- 13:52Speaker 1: the moment, don't we? He also noted that he hoped
- 13:55Speaker 1: people were making friends in the line. I know people
- 13:58Speaker 1: who have lined up and they change numbers and there
- 14:01Speaker 1: they are on a group text together and I hope
- 14:03Speaker 1: this day in Urch and some of them planned to
- 14:05Speaker 1: get a DRIG and meat up and he said it
- 14:07Speaker 1: means just an awful lot that you are here and
- 14:09Speaker 1: you're all doing an amazing job. So are you, Prince William.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I love that he surprised all the people waiting in line. Hey, quickly,
- 14:19Speaker 1: before we get a break. We found out how King
- 14:21Speaker 1: Charles found out that his mother was dying and it
- 14:24Speaker 1: was actually a phone call that he received. So he
- 14:26Speaker 1: learned that his mummy was close to death when he
- 14:30Speaker 1: got an urgent phone call, and that was just moments
- 14:35Speaker 1: ahead of the rest of the world. So this so
- 14:38Speaker 1: the palace put out a statement that the Queen's health
- 14:41Speaker 1: was failing. Charles got a call just moments before. Charles
- 14:47Speaker 1: and his wife, Camilla, they were in Scotland, thankfully, and
- 14:51Speaker 1: they scrambled the moment they were informed the elderly Queen's
- 14:56Speaker 1: health had taken a turn. Sources say that Camilla was
- 15:00Speaker 1: actually about to record a TV interview with Jenna Bush
- 15:04Speaker 1: Hager from the today show, and Jenna said she heard
- 15:07Speaker 1: footsteps and running down the hallway and then she went
- 15:10Speaker 1: on to say that she actually Jenna dying with Prince
- 15:13Speaker 1: Charles the night before his mother's passing and there was
- 15:17Speaker 1: nothing to indicate anything was was happening here. So that
- 15:22Speaker 1: interview was canceled. And then the next morning Charles got
- 15:28Speaker 1: a call saying the queen was really in bad shape
- 15:32Speaker 1: and they jumped on a helicopter and rushed to bell
- 15:37Speaker 1: moral castle. Sources say, quotes. Charles took the call and
- 15:42Speaker 1: everything went silent. Then the next thing we knew, it
- 15:45Speaker 1: was this mad panic to get Charles and Camilla into
- 15:48Speaker 1: a helicopter and to the Queen. Hey, we're going to
- 15:52Speaker 1: take a quick break here, but we will be right back.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Welcome back to the naughty but nic show. I'm wrong.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Shoot Him. With all the news today, on such a
- 16:03Speaker 1: sad but also inspiring day, what a wonderful, Wonderful Life.
- 16:08Speaker 1: We are celebrating Queen Elizabeth today with all the Royal News,
- 16:13Speaker 1: all the Royal News. So let's do a nicest of
- 16:16Speaker 1: the day. This story is lovely. So David Beckham, the
- 16:22Speaker 1: football player, got emotional after waiting in line for twelve
- 16:25Speaker 1: hours to mourn Queen Elizabeth, he got very emotional. He
- 16:29Speaker 1: waited twelve hours to pay his respect. The British soccer
- 16:34Speaker 1: star was spotted wiping tears away from his eyes while
- 16:39Speaker 1: he was inside Westminster Hall on Friday. He could also
- 16:43Speaker 1: be seen burying his head in his hands as he
- 16:47Speaker 1: stood with the other mourners. So he got online at
- 16:51Speaker 1: about two a m. He wore a cap hoped people
- 16:54Speaker 1: wouldn't recognize him, but they did. He got online two
- 16:57Speaker 1: a M on Friday morning and waited over twelve hours.
- 17:01Speaker 1: So he didn't seem to mind the attention and he
- 17:04Speaker 1: even bought you found some doughnuts to give them some
- 17:07Speaker 1: energy as they waited on the long, long line. Hey,
- 17:10Speaker 1: you know, he could have skipped the line. People went
- 17:13Speaker 1: up to him officials and said you just want to
- 17:15Speaker 1: come through the back door, we could sneak you in.
- 17:17Speaker 1: He said no, and I think that's just so British
- 17:20Speaker 1: and so charming and a lesson for all celebrities out there.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Wait your turn and nicest of the day and now
- 17:29Speaker 1: a nutiest of the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty, noughty. So
- 17:33Speaker 1: Harry and Megan discovered they were disinvited to the reception
- 17:36Speaker 1: and Buckingham Palace. By reading it in the press, I know.
- 17:41Speaker 1: So there was a big dinner on Sunday night, last
- 17:44Speaker 1: night for all the world leaders, the dignitaries from around
- 17:47Speaker 1: the world who had arrived in London for the queen's funeral.
- 17:51Speaker 1: So Megan and Harry got an invite and then they
- 17:53Speaker 1: were told don't come, they were uninvited. So this is
- 17:57Speaker 1: what happened. Apparently this was just for the working royals
- 18:01Speaker 1: and they're not working royals anymore. This was a state
- 18:04Speaker 1: function and said they were sent an invite by mistake.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Have you ever done that? Have you ever invited somebody
- 18:12Speaker 1: by mistake? I have. My philosophy, though, is if you
- 18:16Speaker 1: invite them, you can't take it back. You've just got
- 18:18Speaker 1: to suck it up. Well, that didn't happen at the palace.
- 18:21Speaker 1: They took the invitation back and the way that the royals,
- 18:25Speaker 1: Megan and Harry, found out about it was through the press. Oh,
- 18:29Speaker 1: how embarrassing. If this family can cause drama, they will.
- 18:34Speaker 1: They've got to get it together. So I do understand,
- 18:37Speaker 1: and we should point out here they chose to leave
- 18:40Speaker 1: the royal family. They were not kicked out, they were
- 18:42Speaker 1: not fired. They wanted to leave the family and so
- 18:46Speaker 1: because of that now they don't get invited to the
- 18:48Speaker 1: working events. But I speke to a source close to
- 18:51Speaker 1: Megan here and they said don't feel sorry for them.
- 18:53Speaker 1: When Megan did that interview with Oprah she talked about
- 18:56Speaker 1: having suicidal thought, the pressure, everything that goes along with
- 19:01Speaker 1: being a member of that family. It was too much
- 19:04Speaker 1: for her. That's why she wanted to get out. So
- 19:07Speaker 1: I think in a good way, doing less, not going
- 19:11Speaker 1: to these big events, that can be really nerve wracking.
- 19:13Speaker 1: We've all been invited to parties and places or work
- 19:16Speaker 1: things that we don't really want to go to. You've
- 19:18Speaker 1: got to make Chit Chat you don't know anybody. So
- 19:20Speaker 1: I think here they're probably grateful that they don't have
- 19:24Speaker 1: to go. They chose this and so I think for
- 19:26Speaker 1: their own mental health, not having to do this is
- 19:29Speaker 1: probably a good idea. It sounds awful, doesn't it, when
- 19:31Speaker 1: you're told you're disinvited to a party, particularly a party
- 19:34Speaker 1: at Bucking Palace. You think it sounds terrible, but I
- 19:38Speaker 1: think this is actually what they want. They don't want
- 19:40Speaker 1: to do this, so don't feel sorry for them. But nevertheless,
- 19:44Speaker 1: the people that send out the invite by mistake. You're
- 19:49Speaker 1: antiest of the day. Hey, let's send with a moment
- 19:54Speaker 1: of Rab. You get a Robbietta, Robbie gonna Rab. Today's
- 19:58Speaker 1: quote is from, of course, Queen Elizabeth. She said the
- 20:02Speaker 1: following and it just stopped me in my tracks. She
- 20:05Speaker 1: said the following quote. Grief is the price we pay
- 20:10Speaker 1: for love. Think about that. If we're lucky enough to
- 20:15Speaker 1: really love somebody, to have love in our life, it
- 20:19Speaker 1: doesn't come Freyer. The price of love is grief. If
- 20:23Speaker 1: you're going to love that passionately, that much, if you're
- 20:27Speaker 1: lucky enough to find that much love, when it goes,
- 20:32Speaker 1: there's grief and that's the price to pay, and I
- 20:37Speaker 1: would argue we should all be so luckier to have
