Latest / The Hypnotist / Hypnosis to Level Up in Life and Raise the Floor of Daily Habits
Transcript
- 0:04Hi, it's Adam here, and in this episode of The Hypnotist, you're
- 0:08going to be listening to a hypnosis session that was
- 0:11created for a very ambitious client that wanted to increase
- 0:16their. Level of success.
- 0:18In business, but also in physical health.
- 0:21And they were into things like jiu jitsu and cold plunges, but
- 0:26also learning about very innovative technology.
- 0:29And they wanted to be very entrepreneurial in these fast
- 0:32growing spaces. And this hypnosis session was
- 0:37really created at a time in their life where they were
- 0:40looking to almost reinvent themself, establish new habits,
- 0:44new standards. And in the conversation before
- 0:48the hypnosis session, they were talking about raising the floor.
- 0:52And I tend to pay attention to the language that people use
- 0:56when there is a, an unconscious metaphor going on in the
- 1:00background. So this idea of raising the
- 1:02floor means raising a standard, but they used a, a property or a
- 1:06building metaphor to explain that.
- 1:09So what you're going to hear in this hypnosis session is me
- 1:12amplifying that metaphor to talk about basements, which
- 1:16represents almost the self loathing, self sabotage or time
- 1:22wasting period that many people do fall into.
- 1:26Levelling up means raising standards and becoming more
- 1:29capable, and this is key suggestion there that the peak,
- 1:35the ceiling, becomes a new flaw. And by phrasing it in that way,
- 1:40you can't maintain a standard if you've never achieved that
- 1:43standard before. So these peaks become new
- 1:46baselines to grow and evolve, and I think this hypnosis
- 1:50session will be very beneficial for anyone that is very
- 1:55ambitious, very hungry to achieve and accomplish and
- 1:59understands that by raising their standards.
- 2:02In different areas of their. Life it becomes more able to
- 2:05achieve those results that come from those standards.
- 2:09So this is really a success and and levelling up hypnosis
- 2:14session, it was created for a specific client.
- 2:18So some of the suggestions that relate to cold plunges or other
- 2:24other things might not really relate and resonate with you.
- 2:26So just ignore any suggestions that don't quite connect with
- 2:30you. But this broad metaphor of
- 2:33levelling up, I think will connect with a lot of people and
- 2:36just think about what that would mean for you.
- 2:39And if you'd like the idea of working with me directly rather
- 2:43than just listening to recordings that were created for
- 2:46other people, there will be a link in the description where
- 2:48you can schedule a free consultation call to explore
- 2:52what that would be like. For now, though, find a quiet,
- 2:55comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
- 2:58Relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in and as you
- 3:37breathe in, breathe in a wonderful feeling of calm and
- 3:42relaxation. And as you exhale, just allow
- 3:50any feelings of stress, worry, or tension to feel like it's
- 3:57leaving your body in that outward breath.
- 4:04And notice you can breathe deeper, deeper in through your
- 4:15nose, breathing in that resourceful feeling of
- 4:19relaxation. And as you release the breath,
- 4:25feel like you're letting go, letting go of any sensations
- 4:33that feel like they're impeding you in some way, breathing in
- 4:41what you need and exhaling what you don't, as you enable
- 4:49yourself to feel like you're drifting deeper and deeper,
- 4:55relaxed. The deeper you breathe, the more
- 5:07relaxed you become. And the more relaxed you become,
- 5:13the deeper you breathe. That's it.
- 5:21And as your body relaxes, your imagination awakens.
- 5:30So with each breath now allow your body to truly relax, your
- 5:37thoughts begin to slow, and perhaps your awareness drifts
- 5:45inwards, as if you're stepping back from the outside world and
- 5:53into the deeper architecture of your own mind.
- 6:04With every exhale, you can release anything and everything
- 6:12that no longer needs to be held. And as your body relaxes even
- 6:19more, your mind becomes more receptive, more open, and more
- 6:28focused on what truly matters. Allow your mind to wander and I
- 6:42wonder if you could imagine an impressive skyscraper, a vast
- 6:51tall tower. Picture the shape, and as you
- 6:58look upwards you can see it goes further and further into the
- 7:04sky, almost like it seems to stretch endlessly above and
- 7:14below. And I wonder if you could
- 7:19imagine that this tower represents you, every habit, but
- 7:27also every version of yourself, every floor.
- 7:35It becomes a standard, but also a level of your identity.
- 7:48Sometimes people will use the word levelling up and you get a
- 7:55sense of what that means for you now as you find yourself walking
- 8:02into an impressive reception towards the elevators at the
- 8:10very centre of this tower. Smooth walls, glowing buttons,
- 8:19and a stillness that invites reflection because even on the
- 8:25ground floor, the elevator can go up or down.
- 8:37Imagine glancing at the panel and notice the lower buttons are
- 8:43no longer labeled by number, but by feeling.
- 8:52And all the way down you can see a button that represents the
- 8:57basement. We've all spent time in the
- 9:03basement, a place of avoidance, distraction, self doubt and self
- 9:12sabotage. The basement is the place where
- 9:18potential is ignored, doubts thrive, and comfort was mistaken
- 9:27for safety. And maybe you can recall the
- 9:32time that you spend time in that basement.
- 9:39This is a life living below your capabilities, your potential and
- 9:46your minimum standards. And you recognize that it's
- 9:53always a choice. Anyone can choose to go down
- 9:59into the basement, but why would you choose to go into the
- 10:04basement when it's possible to go upwards, to level up, to
- 10:12raise standards? You're not going down there to
- 10:18the basement. In fact, imagine that you've
- 10:22already sealed those doors shut. The basement is no longer
- 10:29available. You've raised your floor,
- 10:48so imagine pressing the button for a level that represents your
- 10:52current standard, a higher floor, one you've earned, and
- 11:02feel the elevator rising. Each floor it passes is a
- 11:13reminder that you've already made so much progress in your
- 11:17life. You've already grown and
- 11:21climbed, and from this point forward, your only mission is to
- 11:28raise the floor higher and higher until even your worst
- 11:38days take place on levels once considered your peak.
- 11:50Because each day you raise your floor, you rise into greatness,
- 11:59not by chasing peaks, but by mastering consistency.
- 12:06I want you to think of three big important rituals.
- 12:13Perhaps a cold plunge. Consider these three significant
- 12:21things. Non negotiable anchors of your
- 12:27evolution discipline isn't something you have.
- 12:34Consider it part of your genetic code, your DNA, forged in
- 12:44repetition and solidified through discomfort.
- 12:51You don't do what's easy, you do what is necessary.
- 13:02Consider your floor, your base level, and it's your freedom.
- 13:08The higher you raise it, the more you elevate up into this
- 13:14building, the more unshakable and confident you become.
- 13:23So much so that even when motivation fades, you execute.
- 13:31Especially then, because doing what's necessary.
- 13:37Execution is your identity. It's not about chasing the
- 13:44highs, it's about building the base.
- 13:50You're not interested in spending a few hours at the
- 13:55higher levels of the skyscraper of your life.
- 14:00You want to raise the minimum level.
- 14:05Consider yourself doing that, climbing the elevator and
- 14:11exploring what it would look like to level up.
- 14:20Because when you no longer chase the highs, you are continually
- 14:26and incrementally building the base, brick by brick, grounded
- 14:34and deliberate. Your base level is rising.
- 14:46And every cold plunge feels like a contract or a promise with
- 14:52your future self. You show up no matter what, in
- 15:00the past and in the future. You face resistance with
- 15:05courage. So that discomfort is the toll
- 15:10you gladly pay for transformation, running your
- 15:16stripes. Old patterns may whisper, but
- 15:20you don't listen. That basement is sealed and you
- 15:26are no longer available for self destruction.
- 15:33Consider that moment of euphoria, a glimpse of your
- 15:38future, your potential, of who you truly are becoming, and
- 15:45every action you take brings that version of you closer.
- 15:50As you get into the elevator and raise another floor higher.
- 15:58Your habits are your scaffolding.
- 16:01They hold up the structure of your next level self.
- 16:07Feel how good it would feel to be consistently levelling up.
- 16:16Grounded action is your superpower.
- 16:20Doing what is necessary is so much more appealing over any
- 16:27fantasy, comfort or escape. And when it's tough or unsexy,
- 16:36that's when you lean in because that's where the floor rises and
- 16:42greatness grows. And perhaps you can think of
- 16:49someone in history or in the present that you admire a Julius
- 16:56Caesar or an Elon Musk. On their very worst day, they
- 17:03would accomplish more than many others on their very best day
- 17:08because they are levels higher and what was possible for them
- 17:17is equally possible for you. Because this is your
- 17:22breakthrough year and you're making it irreversible.
- 17:32Each Rep, each walk, each supplement, each session, it's a
- 17:39powerful, profound message to your subconscious that you are
- 17:44becoming unstoppable not through arrogance, but through momentum.
- 17:53You're getting yourself into a rhythm, a routine, powerful
- 17:58habits that transform who you are and who you are becoming.
- 18:08And that higher self you saw and glimpsed during your upturn is
- 18:14real. You are becoming them, one
- 18:19action at a time, and you're able to stay on track.
- 18:26Not because it's easy, but because that's simply who you
- 18:32are and what you do now and every day you stay committed.
- 18:41You are elevating your life, rising up in your skyscraper,
- 18:48making the basement not even a possibility.
- 18:55Imagine climbing in that elevator and rising up level
- 18:58after level. I want you to get a glimpse of
- 19:03what is possible. See maybe a few floors upwards
- 19:11this time as the observer. See your future self not based
- 19:16on what you've accomplished, but based on minimum standards.
- 19:23Get a sense that the future version of you is someone you
- 19:29respect and you admire because they exude the qualities that
- 19:36you are mastering now. I want you to get a sense that
- 19:44every floor is someone else's ceiling.
- 19:50I want you to get a sense that every time you level up, the
- 19:55peak then becomes the baseline. The ceiling then becomes the
- 20:01floor. And I want you to imagine going
- 20:06all the way up to the penthouse, to the very top floor, and get a
- 20:12glimpse of what is possible, perhaps far off into the future.
- 20:20Get a glimpse of the qualities that are resonating and present
- 20:26in you. See those qualities that never
- 20:32changed. Loyalty, courage.
- 20:40I want you to see the things that are still there no matter
- 20:44how far you level up. Some things are simply who you
- 20:49are at your very core, and that tells you that you always have
- 20:57value because you lean in to these values.
- 21:04Levelling up will get easier and easier as experience collide
- 21:11with new capabilities, wisdom compounds with intelligence and
- 21:22get a sense that your life is heading in a wonderful
- 21:24direction. But notice something?
- 21:30Even when you think you've got to the very highest floor, I
- 21:36want you to see there is a secret private elevator letting
- 21:42you know there is no end to how much you can continue to evolve,
- 21:54to level up and to progress. The finishing line is just the
- 22:02starting line of a new race. The ceiling is just a new floor.
- 22:09The penthouse perhaps is a new floor to go even higher.
- 22:21And as you look out across the landscape of your life from this
- 22:25elevated view, you know this truth in every cell of your
- 22:34being. Your greatness is not a moment.
- 22:40It's a pattern, a system, a structure you live inside every
- 22:49day. And the basement.
- 22:55The basement is now just an echo of a deterrent, a place that
- 23:03perhaps you've been once or twice, but the doors are locked
- 23:10and the key has long since been thrown away.
- 23:14You are someone going higher and higher and get a sense that you
- 23:24aren't waiting for this to happen.
- 23:27You are making this happen. I want you to get a sands.
- 23:36Then you're glimpsing into the future, but now to return in the
- 23:42elevator, not to the reception and certainly not to the
- 23:46basement, but to the floor that you feel that you're currently
- 23:50on. Now realizing how much progress
- 23:56there is for you. That all of the floors between
- 24:01where you've been and where you are is your potential.
- 24:06And you are excited to unleash and unlock more of that
- 24:12potential. But it's time to leave this
- 24:17skyscraper of your life and start to bring this clarity and
- 24:22these raised standards with you. So take a deep breath in through
- 24:29your nose and out through your nose.
- 24:35Just wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 24:38Start to connect and calibrate with the here and the now.
- 24:42As I now count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 24:48You will awaken with a new sense of galvanized purpose, an
- 24:55excitement of doing what's necessary to raise your
- 25:00standards consistently. That's right, starting to count.
- 25:05123 Waking up. 456 More alert. 7-8 Open your eyes, open your
- 25:12eyes. 910 Wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
