- 0:03Speaker 1: It's the Bootleg cav Show. We are here. We got
- 0:06Speaker 1: a special guest man his new album, Moving Towards Love
- 0:08Speaker 1: Pink out now yes, the second in a series of
- 0:13Speaker 1: color albums. Yes, yes, So you had the everything in
- 0:16Speaker 1: My Soul that was blue, which was blue, and now
- 0:20Speaker 1: we're moving towards pink And if you have not heard
- 0:22Speaker 1: the album yet, it is incredible. It's obviously a lot
- 0:24Speaker 1: of I feel like, uh, you know, towards your females. Yeah,
- 0:29Speaker 1: out there for sure. You have a big female listening core.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Is that a thing?
- 0:32Speaker 2: Man, I'm discovering that I had a bigger female listening
- 0:35Speaker 2: core than I thought I did.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Just assume it's like Dusty that podcast the guys that
- 0:40Speaker 1: look like Sallacy.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Now as funny as I was talking to the dish
- 0:45Speaker 2: about it, because we was like, yo, we got to
- 0:46Speaker 2: figure out a way to improve the ratio, you know,
- 0:49Speaker 2: with women. And then it jumped so fast that they
- 0:53Speaker 2: was basically saying like it let them know that there
- 0:55Speaker 2: are a lot of women that are aware of me,
- 0:56Speaker 2: but they maybe weren't listening because I wasn't making stuff
- 0:58Speaker 2: that you know what I mean, they can play you
- 1:00Speaker 2: get what I'm saying. Because they were saying, like for
- 1:01Speaker 2: its to jump, for the percentage to jump as quick
- 1:03Speaker 2: as it did, there was like we didn't have to
- 1:05Speaker 2: go find new people that to discover you.
- 1:08Speaker 3: They were already there. They were just waiting for you
- 1:09Speaker 3: to give them something that they actually you get what
- 1:11Speaker 3: I'm saying. I wanted to listen to Was.
- 1:12Speaker 1: This a harder project to make because it's obviously the
- 1:15Speaker 1: first time you've really put that hat on.
- 1:17Speaker 2: And like, yeah, it actually it was actually pretty easy because.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I've made a lot of relationship songs.
- 1:23Speaker 2: It's just when I was, you know, boxing too a
- 1:27Speaker 2: certain set, I couldn't really explore the way that I
- 1:30Speaker 2: wanted to, you get what I'm saying, Like, I made
- 1:32Speaker 2: Turns Up Records because I like to make music that
- 1:34Speaker 2: represents my life. So it's like I've you know, been
- 1:36Speaker 2: in a lot of situationships or relationships. I go outside
- 1:39Speaker 2: and I'm out, you know what i mean, Like from
- 1:41Speaker 2: the street to Las So it's like I make stuff
- 1:44Speaker 2: with my life, you know what i mean. So I've
- 1:45Speaker 2: made a lot of turns Up shit. I made a
- 1:46Speaker 2: lot of shit for relationships, and I've made a lot
- 1:48Speaker 2: of the stuff that people know me for the most.
- 1:51Speaker 2: It's just that that was what was being released, So
- 1:53Speaker 2: this was it was actually pretty easy to be honest
- 1:54Speaker 2: with you.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I didn say because it's like if you got kind
- 1:56Speaker 1: of like no, it's like I'm going into this. It's
- 1:58Speaker 1: a concept. Yeah, it probably makes it a little easier
- 2:01Speaker 1: to be like, all right, look, we're just gonna do
- 2:03Speaker 1: twenty of these or however, you know, because exactly that,
- 2:06Speaker 1: and then you broke it up into discs.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Yeah, broke it up in the disc because I wanted
- 2:09Speaker 2: to do something different, Like I feel like there's a
- 2:10Speaker 2: lot of projects that's about love and relationships, but it's
- 2:13Speaker 2: always the same story.
- 2:14Speaker 3: It's like guy does something.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Stupid, loses girl, he's trying to get girl back, you
- 2:18Speaker 2: know what I mean, And that's kind of like the norm,
- 2:20Speaker 2: and so I wanted to just walk through what an
- 2:22Speaker 2: actual relationship looks like, which is you meet the girl,
- 2:26Speaker 2: everything is great on both sides. She the best thing
- 2:29Speaker 2: you ever met, you know what I mean, vice versa,
- 2:31Speaker 2: and then it just kind of progresses from there and
- 2:32Speaker 2: it gets more serious and more serious, and I want
- 2:35Speaker 2: I felt like that would have been the most relatable
- 2:36Speaker 2: thing because that's something that.
- 2:37Speaker 3: We literally all lived through, you know what I mean,
- 2:40Speaker 3: and then you either get married or you break up
- 2:42Speaker 3: and break it up, you go do it again, or
- 2:45Speaker 3: you catch her cheat because.
- 2:47Speaker 1: She's a whore. Yo, are you gonna do? Because I
- 2:52Speaker 1: feel like the physical has got a kind of low
- 2:54Speaker 1: key before discs. Yeah, yeah, it would be like, yeah,
- 2:58Speaker 1: that's a high it's been. It's been a high costs.
- 3:01Speaker 2: It's been boxing us in a little bit or trying
- 3:03Speaker 2: to figure out one years like four size.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Or something like that.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah, we've been trying to figure out how to how
- 3:10Speaker 2: to make it, how to be able to like make
- 3:11Speaker 2: it a tangible product that we could sell that involves
- 3:14Speaker 2: all of them. And I'm not gonna Lie've been running
- 3:16Speaker 2: in the walls on that and we're like setting aggressive timelines.
- 3:19Speaker 2: So that's not helping because it's like we have these
- 3:21Speaker 2: timelines that we have to hit, but we have to
- 3:24Speaker 2: come up with ideas but still.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Keep pushing the music, you know what I mean. So
- 3:27Speaker 3: it's been tough.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It's been a couple of years since you've left the
- 3:32Speaker 1: TD situation. Would you say you are more happy now
- 3:36Speaker 1: as an artist?
- 3:37Speaker 3: For sure? For sure? Like it was for a long time.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I used to try to explain to people while I
- 3:41Speaker 2: was like like over there, like I made Porchase, which
- 3:44Speaker 2: was my last project there.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I made that project. Thank you, thank you.
- 3:48Speaker 2: When people like that project, it's so refreshing to me
- 3:51Speaker 2: because I made that project like depressed, Like I was
- 3:53Speaker 2: literally like clocking into a job.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It was work.
- 3:56Speaker 3: It was work. Like I would go to the studio,
- 3:58Speaker 3: I get there at twelve and I'd just be looking
- 3:59Speaker 3: at the like I can't wait for you know, six
- 4:02Speaker 3: to get here so I can get the fuck up
- 4:04Speaker 3: out of here.
- 4:04Speaker 2: And go home, you know what I mean. And so
- 4:06Speaker 2: making that project was really really hard. I had to
- 4:08Speaker 2: like go to other places and record to be able
- 4:11Speaker 2: to make it because I just wasn't in the headspace,
- 4:13Speaker 2: you know what I mean. And so definitely like I'm
- 4:15Speaker 2: I'm I'm more happy. I think the biggest thing I'm
- 4:17Speaker 2: happier about is the fact that like the music is
- 4:20Speaker 2: coming out in real time, Like I get to drop
- 4:22Speaker 2: music and it's who I am now, whereas when I
- 4:24Speaker 2: was dropping it. Then it'll be a song that somebody
- 4:27Speaker 2: loves and they can relate to. And I'm like that
- 4:28Speaker 2: was me three.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Years ago, right, Like I made this song three years ago.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I'm not even that person no more, you know what
- 4:33Speaker 2: I mean. Like, and then I got to go and
- 4:34Speaker 2: perform it, and I'm like, I don't even want to
- 4:36Speaker 2: rap this shit no more, because I feel like a
- 4:38Speaker 2: lame version of you know what I mean myself?
- 4:40Speaker 3: Like I feel like I'm faking it, you know what
- 4:41Speaker 3: I mean? And that's never been something that I'm good
- 4:43Speaker 3: at doing.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Do you think you could do because obviously we know that,
- 4:46Speaker 1: like it's obviously over there, it's a lot more stuff
- 4:50Speaker 1: spread out. Yeah, it ain't like you're dropping three albums
- 4:52Speaker 1: in a year. Yeah, I was gonna say, could you
- 4:54Speaker 1: even know? Like, because I feel like even just the
- 4:56Speaker 1: idea of doing like these concept projects where it's like, Okay,
- 5:00Speaker 1: I have this, I have the blue album, and then
- 5:01Speaker 1: the pink album, and I don't know if there's any
- 5:03Speaker 1: other color school. Yeah, your manager may or may not
- 5:06Speaker 1: have let me in a secret. But is that even
- 5:09Speaker 1: something you feel like you could have done?
- 5:10Speaker 3: Nah?
- 5:11Speaker 2: And that's what that's what I mean by like the
- 5:13Speaker 2: happiness about it, and like the freedom to create is
- 5:15Speaker 2: like I used to go into a project and be
- 5:18Speaker 2: like I gotta cram all different parts of me inside
- 5:22Speaker 2: this one body of work, but still make it feel cohesive.
- 5:24Speaker 2: You get what I'm saying, like, because I'm like, I'm
- 5:26Speaker 2: not gonna be back up to bat for.
- 5:28Speaker 1: A minute at least. Yeah, And you don't want it
- 5:30Speaker 1: to ever sound dated because you're like, Okay, I know
- 5:32Speaker 1: this might not come out for a couple of exactly.
- 5:34Speaker 2: So then it's like I'm scratching records that I love
- 5:35Speaker 2: because it feels dated, you know what I mean? Or
- 5:38Speaker 2: the beats feel dated, Like I remember me and Azy
- 5:40Speaker 2: Schike did a joint and then it was like by
- 5:42Speaker 2: the time Portress was coming out, it felt dated, like
- 5:45Speaker 2: the beat feeld dated, and I was just like, h like,
- 5:47Speaker 2: and me and Tike was kind of on the same pages,
- 5:49Speaker 2: like it don't really make sense, you know what I mean,
- 5:51Speaker 2: Like because we did it like two and a half
- 5:52Speaker 2: years before that, so.
- 5:55Speaker 1: You obviously, man, I feel like have always set yourself
- 5:59Speaker 1: apart when it comes to just like being one of
- 6:02Speaker 1: the best lyrical, lyrically gifted guys in Southern California. Is
- 6:08Speaker 1: it kind of like not to say like because I
- 6:10Speaker 1: feel like, you know, me and Salas were talking and
- 6:12Speaker 1: he was saying like he feels like this is your
- 6:14Speaker 1: best like song like songs the song, right is it
- 6:19Speaker 1: like for you, like have you seen because you have
- 6:23Speaker 1: fans of yours that are very much like they're there
- 6:26Speaker 1: for the bars for sure, Like have you seen the
- 6:29Speaker 1: like obviously you see more people coming to the party
- 6:30Speaker 1: who are females, But have you did you see any
- 6:32Speaker 1: of like the feedback from like those fans.
- 6:35Speaker 2: That's so funny that like I got a couple of
- 6:37Speaker 2: fans that's like die hard fans, like I've been talking
- 6:39Speaker 2: to him for years and they hit me and they
- 6:42Speaker 2: was like when they first dropped, they was like, man,
- 6:44Speaker 2: reason like I'm not gonna lie. I'm not really the
- 6:46Speaker 2: same what we want the same way, Like I'm not
- 6:48Speaker 2: really fucking with it. And then they'll name like certain
- 6:50Speaker 2: songs that they like and it's like it's the more
- 6:52Speaker 2: bar heavy songs. But it's funny because literally every single
- 6:54Speaker 2: one of those fans came back and it's only been
- 6:56Speaker 2: out for like a week, but they came back like
- 6:58Speaker 2: a few days later, and they was like, you're the
- 6:59Speaker 2: probably grown on me. Like it's almost like once the
- 7:01Speaker 2: expectation of like coming into a rap rap album run away,
- 7:05Speaker 2: they were like, you know, and I just told them.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I said, that's the whole point in me being able
- 7:08Speaker 2: to drop as frequent as I can, because if you don't,
- 7:10Speaker 2: if you hear for bar bar heavy reason, you could
- 7:13Speaker 2: just go and listen to Blue, like it's Blue is
- 7:15Speaker 2: right there. It's not it's not relatively relatively new. You
- 7:18Speaker 2: get what I'm saying, Like, in comparison to what you're
- 7:21Speaker 2: used to getting from me, you're used to getting something
- 7:23Speaker 2: every two to three years from me, That shit is
- 7:25Speaker 2: five six months.
- 7:26Speaker 1: It's crazy because you've dropped like three albums the last
- 7:29Speaker 1: year and a half a cent.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, like like I Love You Again, which
- 7:32Speaker 2: is shorter project than Everything in My Soul, which we
- 7:35Speaker 2: did a full one to when we dropped the deluxe
- 7:39Speaker 2: and then we just did this one's a full length.
- 7:41Speaker 2: So that's literally what I told him is like Blue
- 7:42Speaker 2: is right there. And that's why I started with Blue,
- 7:45Speaker 2: was because I want us to take care of my
- 7:46Speaker 2: core fans first.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Yeah, like I watch something for you.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I got something right for y'all that's in y'all pocket
- 7:50Speaker 2: that you know, I know you're gonna love. There's no
- 7:52Speaker 2: you know what I mean. And now we can kind
- 7:53Speaker 2: of get a little bit more creative and whatnot.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I feel like the most anticipated thing for you that
- 7:58Speaker 1: has become like, Uh, what the fuck is up with
- 8:02Speaker 1: you and cos doing this goddamn album you guys have
- 8:04Speaker 1: been talking about forever. It's like, if you guys have
- 8:07Speaker 1: to have the best song on the.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Dream album, it's on cause man like, like.
- 8:11Speaker 1: That's my brother, isn't he kind of is? He's not
- 8:14Speaker 1: in it anymore.
- 8:15Speaker 3: He's good, He's good to go. He's good.
- 8:17Speaker 1: He told me he want a studio right in here.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Take it for sake.
- 8:20Speaker 2: He told me he wanted to go solo first, which
- 8:23Speaker 2: I gotta respect. But I'm like, but my whole thing,
- 8:25Speaker 2: I just.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Like you'd be waiting for I just go take a
- 8:29Speaker 3: long likes and just drop. You know what I'm saying.
- 8:32Speaker 3: But now it's funny.
- 8:32Speaker 2: We actually just talked about that at the release party and.
- 8:36Speaker 1: He started it. Bro.
- 8:37Speaker 3: We got like forty five records like we could drop
- 8:41Speaker 3: tomorrow if niggas want to suppressed them, but we could, honestly,
- 8:45Speaker 3: you know what, So this and I haven't told nobody this.
- 8:48Speaker 3: The songs that people have been getting from me with.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Cause in like the last year and a half are
- 8:52Speaker 2: like songs supposed to be on that. I'm just like,
- 8:55Speaker 2: I'm taking the songs that sound a little bit more
- 8:56Speaker 2: dated and and and I'm showing cause because they all
- 8:59Speaker 2: love the songs, like the Tired of Fucking These Holes
- 9:01Speaker 2: record that's on there, that was me and co that
- 9:03Speaker 2: was on our project. I dropped a little quick three
- 9:06Speaker 2: pack before we went into the Pink rollout and they
- 9:08Speaker 2: had a record on their Across the Fall that was
- 9:10Speaker 2: on our project.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Like, I've just been putting those.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Records, the ones that sound a little dated, and I
- 9:15Speaker 2: know they're not gonna make the album. I've been just
- 9:17Speaker 2: kind of putting them out just to keep the anticipation
- 9:19Speaker 2: there and to show cause, like bro, there's a market
- 9:22Speaker 2: there for it. Like we're kind of just like blowing
- 9:26Speaker 2: a good situation right now, you know what I mean,
- 9:28Speaker 2: because people are never gonna wait forever.
- 9:29Speaker 3: It's just not gonna happen.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Hey, man, don't forget odd socks basics. The only thing
- 9:34Speaker 1: that's on my feet man, or the odd socks baby,
- 9:37Speaker 1: all right, And what I love about odd socks. First
- 9:39Speaker 1: of all, I don't want to say any other socks
- 9:42Speaker 1: by name, but if you're just throwing on you know,
- 9:44Speaker 1: the good old generic tube socks with shorts. So whatever
- 9:49Speaker 1: it is ankle socks, you ain't gonna find anything more
- 9:52Speaker 1: comfortable than these odd Socks Basics or more affordable. That's right,
- 9:56Speaker 1: get a pack like this for nine ninety nine. Odd
- 10:01Speaker 1: Socks dot Com use the promo code bootleg. Not only
- 10:04Speaker 1: do they got the basics on lock, of course, they

- 10:12Speaker 1: know what, they just locked in the liquid death. Can
- 10:15Speaker 1: we also give a shout out they just locked in
- 10:17Speaker 1: one piece. I'm waiting for my guy Obese to send
- 10:19Speaker 1: me some one piece stuff COLT forty five. How about
- 10:22Speaker 1: some moreheads? Uh yeah hello. Odd Socks dot Com used
- 10:27Speaker 1: the promo code bootleg save twenty percent off. And trust me,
- 10:30Speaker 1: the most comfortable socks in the world are these odd
- 10:32Speaker 1: Socks Basics. I literally have not worn anything else on
- 10:37Speaker 1: my feet in five years. Swear to God odd Socks,
- 10:42Speaker 1: my son hoops in them. Everybody's rocking with the odd
- 10:45Speaker 1: Socks Basics, So makesure you get you a pack and
- 10:47Speaker 1: thank me later. Odd Socks dot Com use the promo
- 10:49Speaker 1: code Bootleg save twenty percent off of checkout you uh
- 10:53Speaker 1: have still been obviously. I feel like the Dreamville guys
- 10:56Speaker 1: have held you down every since then. My brother Boss
- 10:59Speaker 1: was on the line album obviously, because what can you
- 11:02Speaker 1: speak to just because I feel like sometimes when you're
- 11:05Speaker 1: in a position like you were in where you have this,
- 11:07Speaker 1: I mean, whatever you want to call your situation with
- 11:09Speaker 1: TD falling out whatever, a little messier than you probably
- 11:12Speaker 1: would have liked, and they would have liked whatever. You know,
- 11:16Speaker 1: people will kind of back up off certain people. Yeah,
- 11:18Speaker 1: but I thought it was dope to just see the
- 11:20Speaker 1: Dreamville homies still like hold you down.
- 11:22Speaker 2: And yeah, and like I genuinely appreciated that because, like
- 11:25Speaker 2: you said, it's one of them situations, especially because people
- 11:28Speaker 2: don't all they know is what they see, And so
- 11:30Speaker 2: we had the messy situation that was live in public,
- 11:33Speaker 2: but you don't see like any of the mended relationships
- 11:36Speaker 2: and some nothing like that right behind closed doors. So
- 11:38Speaker 2: it's easy to be a person that's kind of in
- 11:40Speaker 2: the middle that could be like, you know, like I'm
- 11:41Speaker 2: just gonna be hands off. It's not that our own
- 11:43Speaker 2: fuck a reason, but I just don't want to, you know,
- 11:45Speaker 2: step on your toes and they really leaned in like
- 11:47Speaker 2: they like literally I talked to damn near everybody from
- 11:50Speaker 2: Dreamville after that shit happened, and they were just all
- 11:53Speaker 2: like genuinely just like, yo, we hear if you need me,
- 11:56Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like if you need us
- 11:57Speaker 2: from E B all the way down, like you know
- 11:59Speaker 2: what I mean, like if you eat as we hear.
- 12:01Speaker 2: But like you know, I'm you know, we rocking with you,
- 12:03Speaker 2: and we're proud of you for standing for what you want.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Because what's the point of doing this ship if you're
- 12:07Speaker 2: not gonna be happy doing it?
- 12:08Speaker 3: You know what I mean. That was kind of the
- 12:09Speaker 3: sentiment all the way through.
- 12:11Speaker 2: So those are homies, like I love him to death,
- 12:13Speaker 2: Like I was just talking to Jid like a couple
- 12:14Speaker 2: of weeks ago, like they it's all been the same
- 12:17Speaker 2: with them.
- 12:17Speaker 3: So Drainville got like they family with me.
- 12:19Speaker 2: It's like some of the nicest people in all bro
- 12:21Speaker 2: like the nice the nicest people, Like I always hanging
- 12:25Speaker 2: out with Boss.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I'm like ya, Boss, like you're you're so cool, You're on.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Why are you that much of a great guy all
- 12:32Speaker 3: the time?
- 12:32Speaker 2: You get what I'm saying, Like, yeah, it's crazy, you
- 12:35Speaker 2: know what I mean like in bosses like man, him
- 12:37Speaker 2: and EB are like the biggest hearted and it's even.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Coldes that way, Like like Cole bro Cod.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Stayed on the phone with me one time for an hour,
- 12:45Speaker 2: like helping me with like relationship problems. Wow, like I
- 12:49Speaker 2: don't know you like that, you know what I mean? Like,
- 12:50Speaker 2: and I text him and asked him a question. We
- 12:52Speaker 2: were talking about music and then I just asked him
- 12:54Speaker 2: for advice. I was drunk and I asked him for
- 12:56Speaker 2: advice on some relationship.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Ship and he called me it's like tien p.
- 13:00Speaker 2: And we stayed on the phone for like hour hour
- 13:01Speaker 2: and a half like talk about relationship ship, Like he
- 13:04Speaker 2: don't he don't know me from a campaign, you know
- 13:07Speaker 2: what I mean?
- 13:07Speaker 3: Not pass like the music we made, that's it.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Can you pass on Jake the number one thing you
- 13:11Speaker 1: took that you apply to future relationships from your Jake
- 13:13Speaker 1: Cole conversation.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Man, you know it's crazy, And I'll tell you when
- 13:17Speaker 2: we when we off camera, because it relates to like
- 13:19Speaker 2: the times that we in. But one of the things
- 13:21Speaker 2: that he said that that really stuck with me is
- 13:24Speaker 2: he said, there's gonna be a time where you have
- 13:25Speaker 2: to choose. You're gonna have to choose whether you want
- 13:27Speaker 2: to give up like it's fun. We know it's fun.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Like it's fun, it's addicted. You're gonna have to choose
- 13:33Speaker 2: whether you want to give up that to grow up
- 13:37Speaker 2: and have the other ship that. You don't know how
- 13:40Speaker 2: much you're gonna love that, but I promise you're gonna
- 13:42Speaker 2: love it on the other side.
- 13:43Speaker 3: But you don't know because you haven't experienced it. You
- 13:45Speaker 3: have to choose if you're gonna give that up to
- 13:46Speaker 3: be able to grow and have that, or if you're
- 13:48Speaker 3: just never gonna have that.
- 13:54Speaker 1: And that's what he said.
- 13:55Speaker 2: He was like, and I'm not here to tell you
- 13:57Speaker 2: which one is for you, you know what I mean.
- 13:58Speaker 2: He was like, but you're gonna you're gonna have to
- 14:00Speaker 2: And he was basically saying, it's the same thing with
- 14:02Speaker 2: like anything you chasing, Like if you're chasing a dream,
- 14:04Speaker 2: like you're gonna have to choose if you chasing a dream,
- 14:06Speaker 2: are you gonna give up the fun and the bullshit
- 14:08Speaker 2: to exactly you know what I'm saying, Like, it's.
- 14:10Speaker 3: The exact same thing, you know what I mean. So,
- 14:12Speaker 3: but he went a little bit more in detail, I'll
- 14:14Speaker 3: tell you when the cameras are man. Yeah, man, you.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Know it's crazy to me because like, to me, the
- 14:20Speaker 1: fall Off gets better and better every time I listen
- 14:22Speaker 1: to it, Bru And.
- 14:24Speaker 2: The Internet called me a cold stand, but I don't
- 14:26Speaker 2: be giving.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I think it's his second best album.
- 14:30Speaker 3: That's what I got it as a second best album.
- 14:32Speaker 1: And I'm just like, every time I listen to it,
- 14:35Speaker 1: I'm like, I just don't understand that. Me and my
- 14:38Speaker 1: boy Amen is not a big DJ. Man. He wouldn't
- 14:40Speaker 1: mind me saying this, but he's not a big fan
- 14:42Speaker 1: of the Cold album. And I'm like, dog, how this
- 14:44Speaker 1: ship is?
- 14:44Speaker 2: So you know, you know, you know what I think
- 14:46Speaker 2: that Cole did if I could say my opinion wrong
- 14:49Speaker 2: on this album, which even if there are my legends
- 14:52Speaker 2: and my goats, I you know, criticize if I see fit,
- 14:56Speaker 2: what I think he did wrong is that I don't
- 14:58Speaker 2: think that he had a good enough pre roll because
- 15:00Speaker 2: a lot of people went into the album expecting the
- 15:03Speaker 2: Black Album, which what I mean by that is just
- 15:05Speaker 2: like just a great rap body of work, and then
- 15:08Speaker 2: they went into a concept album, and I feel like
- 15:11Speaker 2: once it came out and people understood the concept and
- 15:14Speaker 2: then they were able to live with it. The project grew,
- 15:17Speaker 2: Whereas if you would have went in on the front end,
- 15:19Speaker 2: you're just like, this is a lot exactly, Whereas if
- 15:22Speaker 2: you go in on the front end already knowing like, Okay,
- 15:24Speaker 2: he's talking about what he's twenty nine and thirty nine,
- 15:25Speaker 2: and this is picking up from this, And I feel
- 15:26Speaker 2: like people picked up on it after you get what
- 15:28Speaker 2: I'm saying, and then it started to grow. And it's
- 15:30Speaker 2: funny because like, literally even with our rollout with this project,
- 15:33Speaker 2: I hit the group chat and I was like, what's
- 15:35Speaker 2: happening with Coka, happened with us?
- 15:36Speaker 3: We gotta do.
- 15:37Speaker 2: We got to explain this project on the We got
- 15:39Speaker 2: to communicate this project on the front end, and that's
- 15:41Speaker 2: when we started doing a lot of content to explain it.
- 15:43Speaker 2: That's when I decided to break it up into four
- 15:45Speaker 2: disk and all that, because I was like, I want
- 15:46Speaker 2: people to understand what they're listening to.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 15:49Speaker 1: But I feel like even if you would have did
- 15:51Speaker 1: the first half one week and then the Friday after dress.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I think it would have been received.
- 15:56Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, Like, I just think it was
- 15:57Speaker 2: all in the rollout, like he just kind of dropped
- 15:59Speaker 2: this bitch. He just put it out, you know what
- 16:02Speaker 2: I mean, Like, which is very Coleessee though, like he
- 16:04Speaker 2: just cares about the music. That's all he really gives
- 16:06Speaker 2: a funk about is the music and the shows, you
- 16:08Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 16:09Speaker 1: So I want to know your thoughts. I've been seeing
- 16:11Speaker 1: a lot of people critiquing Los Angeles Southern California hip hop,
- 16:19Speaker 1: essentially saying like we've gotten to this space where a
- 16:24Speaker 1: lot of LA artists are making the same kind of
- 16:25Speaker 1: records and essentially doing their best Draco the Ruler renditions. Yeah, yeah, I've.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Seen those conversations.
- 16:31Speaker 1: But obviously you have been a part of the other
- 16:34Speaker 1: side of the coin, which to me is like, you know,
- 16:37Speaker 1: obviously the TD shit is, But what are your thoughts
- 16:40Speaker 1: just on like the health of where we are?
- 16:43Speaker 2: Honestly, yeah, I think it's a conversation that's blown out
- 16:45Speaker 2: of proportion. Like I feel like everybody, I don't think
- 16:48Speaker 2: it's an LA thing. I think it's like a hip
- 16:51Speaker 2: hop thing. Like if you go to Atlanta, ninety percent
- 16:54Speaker 2: of the Atlanta artists you find are going to sound
- 16:57Speaker 2: the same. You know what, I'm saying, like, if you
- 16:58Speaker 2: go to New York, niggas was making drill, like whatever
- 17:01Speaker 2: the you know what I'm saying, whatever the hot sound is,
- 17:06Speaker 2: ninety percent of the city is gonna do it.
- 17:08Speaker 3: It's not an l A thing.
- 17:09Speaker 2: And I also feel like the people that survive off
- 17:12Speaker 2: of that content where they just keep you know, beating
- 17:15Speaker 2: in your head.
- 17:15Speaker 3: This is the LA problem. This is an LA. It's
- 17:17Speaker 3: like y'all not listening to you're You're a part of
- 17:19Speaker 3: the problem.
- 17:20Speaker 2: You're literally there's so many LA artists that's doing for
- 17:22Speaker 2: outher ship and you're not covering them. You're not talking
- 17:25Speaker 2: about you know what I'm saying, You're not embracing them
- 17:27Speaker 2: as part of LA. But it's almost like you push
- 17:30Speaker 2: them out like that don't sound like LA. But then
- 17:31Speaker 2: you get mad at people for sounding like you get
- 17:33Speaker 2: what I'm saying, like it literally doesn't make sense.
- 17:35Speaker 3: You look at what the yodi's like.
- 17:37Speaker 2: What they're doing, bro, it's fire fire, you get what
- 17:41Speaker 2: I'm saying, Like, it's like and they're successful in bubbling
- 17:44Speaker 2: in their own lane. But it's like, why is nobody
- 17:46Speaker 2: like when you talk about L A R. Why are
- 17:48Speaker 2: you not Why are you not having them in the conversation.
- 17:51Speaker 1: You know what, I'm killing it. They got bro.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Like, they got they got the culture of what LA
- 17:56Speaker 2: feels like. You know what I'm saying, like, why are
- 17:57Speaker 2: you not talking about them? Why are you not talking
- 17:59Speaker 2: about you know, like my project while you're not talking
- 18:02Speaker 2: there's a bunch of artists that I have to do
- 18:04Speaker 2: now not drop the Fire project. Like there's a bunch
- 18:06Speaker 2: of dope LA artists that don't sound like that.
- 18:08Speaker 1: TF got a crazy album?
- 18:10Speaker 3: TF got a crazy album?
- 18:11Speaker 2: Like, That's what I'm saying, Like, I listen to everybody,
- 18:13Speaker 2: and so it's like I hear the different pockets and
- 18:16Speaker 2: then it's like that allows me to be able to
- 18:18Speaker 2: appreciate the fact that when somebody does make a quote
- 18:21Speaker 2: unquote LA sounding album but it's really good, I can
- 18:23Speaker 2: appreciate it because I'm not only listening to LA all
- 18:26Speaker 2: the time to where that project might not fail on
- 18:29Speaker 2: my ears the right way, because that's all I've been
- 18:31Speaker 2: fucking diving into it.
- 18:32Speaker 1: It's like too, it just is what it is. It's
- 18:34Speaker 1: like there's like artists like Shortline Mafia who like run
- 18:38Speaker 1: the radio right now in LA. Yep, that's a fact,
- 18:41Speaker 1: and they're big everywhere. But like you, if you went
- 18:45Speaker 1: to like I don't know, Atlanta or testa User or something,
- 18:49Speaker 1: you're not gonna hear like YG Hollywood or you know,
- 18:54Speaker 1: shortline Rock. But if you get in the car out here,
- 18:56Speaker 1: it's like the best tests.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Like the best test of music that you can possibly he.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Hey, Man, Raffi Lawgroup, newest sponsor the Bootleg Cap Podcast.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Want to give some love to that man. I just
- 19:05Speaker 1: was in Arizona, just did a photo shoot. Show some
- 19:07Speaker 1: of those photos. While I'm talking, Man, you already know
- 19:12Speaker 1: I'm not only an endorser of Raffi. I'm also a client.
- 19:16Speaker 1: That's right. My wife got into a fender bender and
- 19:18Speaker 1: Raffi took care of her exponentially. It was so easy.
- 19:22Speaker 1: And when I tell you, man, if you get into
- 19:24Speaker 1: an accident, maybe a little injury situation, there's only one
- 19:27Speaker 1: guy I trust, one law group I trust. It's Raffi
- 19:30Speaker 1: Law Group called six two, three, three, eight eight forty
- 19:34Speaker 1: three thirty three. Whether it's a car accident, a personal
- 19:37Speaker 1: injury situation, whatever the case is, they alleviate all of
- 19:40Speaker 1: the stress. They've helped over seventy thousand people in az
- 19:44Speaker 1: Now look I know you're driving around you see the
- 19:46Speaker 1: billboards everywhere. You're like, Ah, is this guy just like
- 19:48Speaker 1: another one of these billboard lawyers. No, the amount of care,
- 19:51Speaker 1: the amount of attention to detail that they do everything with,
- 19:55Speaker 1: it's the best. One more time. If you need help,
- 19:57Speaker 1: you gotta call Raffi, just like I did my wife
- 20:00Speaker 1: got into an accident. Azy, you gotta trust Raffi man,
- 20:03Speaker 1: all right, they're the best. Raffi log group, the newest
- 20:06Speaker 1: sponsor of the Bootleg cap podcast. One more time, don't
- 20:09Speaker 1: forget to save the number. Call Raffie if you get
- 20:13Speaker 1: into an accident. Six two, three, three, eight eight forty
- 20:16Speaker 1: three thirty three. Let's get back to the podcast. I
- 20:19Speaker 1: was hoping that the GNX moment would have resulted in
- 20:22Speaker 1: that sound becoming more popular, popular for someone outside of Kendrick. Yeah,
- 20:27Speaker 1: because it's like I feel like Kendrick could do whatever.
- 20:29Speaker 3: And it's gonna work, like it if he made an
- 20:31Speaker 3: opera album, We're gonna find a reason to like you.
- 20:34Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, Like Country Tomorrow, everybody make
- 20:37Speaker 1: it not sense, like hell yeah.
- 20:39Speaker 2: And that's and it's funny because like that's even with
- 20:41Speaker 2: my own music, That's why I've always I've always kind
- 20:45Speaker 2: of like like been kind of like giving pool with
- 20:49Speaker 2: the going to La route because as much as I
- 20:52Speaker 2: love LA music, I know that worldwide like it's not
- 20:55Speaker 2: accepted in that type of way. You get I'm saying,
- 20:56Speaker 2: like I got homies in New York that hate gn X,
- 20:58Speaker 2: I don't get it.
- 20:59Speaker 3: It's for me. It's my literally second or third favorite Kendrick.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Lamer album, which is high for his discography, you know
- 21:05Speaker 2: what I'm saying, Like, and so.
- 21:07Speaker 1: It's Sallas's favorite, Like it's Sallas's favorite, you know what
- 21:10Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Liked that's the favorite album.
- 21:15Speaker 2: But I say that to say like it's like, like
- 21:17Speaker 2: you said, it didn't resonate in the whole world wanting
- 21:20Speaker 2: to hear our sound.
- 21:21Speaker 3: You get what I'm saying.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I thought that's what it was gonna come, not here
- 21:24Speaker 1: and not like I'm like, Yo, this shit is. It
- 21:27Speaker 1: feels like, oh, this might be a real turn. But
- 21:29Speaker 1: I also I also got to say a lot of
- 21:31Speaker 1: artists did not deliver on the other end of that,
- 21:36Speaker 1: because I feel like the YG album that came out
- 21:38Speaker 1: kind of came and went. You know what I'm saying,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I feel like that was a moment.
- 21:42Speaker 3: That's what I was just about to say that.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I feel like, and I don't know what went into
- 21:46Speaker 2: the process of picking the artists that were on gn X,
- 21:49Speaker 2: I don't know, but I feel like if Dot would
- 21:52Speaker 2: have picked more artists that are more consistent in their
- 21:56Speaker 2: art to be on there, I feel like it would
- 21:58Speaker 2: have I feel like post g X would have went differently,
- 22:01Speaker 2: like if if West Side Boogie was on there and
- 22:05Speaker 2: then he drops after that, you get what I'm saying.
- 22:08Speaker 2: There's a lot of artists I can name, I go
- 22:09Speaker 2: down a long list, but I feel like if he
- 22:11Speaker 2: would have picked artists that are just more consistent in
- 22:13Speaker 2: their business and their delivery of art and stuff like that,
- 22:15Speaker 2: I feel like the post would have went a lot better.
- 22:17Speaker 3: In my opinion.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I think like, obviously shout to Paso. Paso is
- 22:20Speaker 1: going crazy while he's going crazy, but I feel like
- 22:23Speaker 1: there's like a few urs You're like, I mean, it's
- 22:25Speaker 1: like those spots could have went. Yeah, delivered a very
- 22:29Speaker 1: memorable moment on that album, for sure, and it got
- 22:32Speaker 1: a Grammy for sure, you know, but I do think
- 22:35Speaker 1: I'm like, damn, it'd been nice if like Zoe was
- 22:37Speaker 1: on there or like even though I know o GZ
- 22:41Speaker 1: is huge in the Superstar, but he's not like Kendrick.
- 22:45Speaker 3: That's what I like.
- 22:45Speaker 2: If you would that sound like shortline, like shortline, you
- 22:49Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, Like those type of like artists.
- 22:52Speaker 2: I feel like it would have resonated in the music
- 22:55Speaker 2: traveling farther after gn X, you know what I'm saying.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Like, and I think that's another one because he took
- 23:00Speaker 1: it and I just got to.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Like Tike Is.
- 23:03Speaker 2: I've been telling people Shrike is is. He's been one
- 23:05Speaker 2: of my favorite West Coast.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Whatever they're doing right now with the album, they're overthinking.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Bro.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I literally just put we were at your birthday, but
- 23:12Speaker 1: were at your birthday part.
- 23:13Speaker 2: I walked up the hike and I literally the first
- 23:15Speaker 2: thing I said, I said, whatever you think is not.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Done, it's done. Just put it. I said, just put
- 23:20Speaker 3: it out.
- 23:21Speaker 2: That's literally the words that I said, whatever you Thinkike,
- 23:23Speaker 2: that's not done, put it out?
- 23:24Speaker 3: What promise you was done? Put it out, work it,
- 23:27Speaker 3: repeat and then repeat the process.
- 23:29Speaker 1: It's like something like or like it's like, this is
- 23:31Speaker 1: how you got here, bro.
- 23:32Speaker 2: This is literally how I became a fan of Tike
- 23:35Speaker 2: because I kept hearing Shrike and I kept finding right
- 23:38Speaker 2: Shike records that I fuck with.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I love him, and Roucie had a dope colab.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Super crazy shout out to shout out to Roochie.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's what I mean, Like, I feel like
- 23:46Speaker 2: if that was the pocket of artists and that's not
- 23:50Speaker 2: at all the ship on the So when y'all hear
- 23:51Speaker 2: the Young Mad whatever, but I think it would have went,
- 23:54Speaker 2: you know what I mean a little bit better post
- 23:56Speaker 2: post your next for sure.
- 23:58Speaker 1: All Right, So if this is the Pink album, what
- 24:00Speaker 1: colors next? Or are there other colors coming?
- 24:02Speaker 2: There are other colors coming, There's there's there's two more
- 24:04Speaker 2: colors coming. And I'm even flirting. This is a far
- 24:07Speaker 2: out idea. I didn't even told Salard ship, but I'm
- 24:09Speaker 2: even flirting on if I if I spin back and
- 24:11Speaker 2: do the color series again in like a couple of years,
- 24:13Speaker 2: then I might make every.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Color a collab album.
- 24:15Speaker 2: So I might grab, like for Blue, I might grab
- 24:18Speaker 2: another artist and do that album with Blue and there
- 24:21Speaker 2: from Pink might grab like an R and B artists.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Yeah, something like that.
- 24:23Speaker 2: But we got Red coming, and then I'm not ready
- 24:26Speaker 2: to talk about the last color yet because I'm still
- 24:28Speaker 2: working out some of the details.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I don't want it to change. But Red is coming
- 24:31Speaker 3: to Red is coming like fast.
- 24:32Speaker 1: So Red, Yeah, we're spending the box of Red. Yeah.
- 24:35Speaker 2: And so it all, it all coincides. It's like everything
- 24:37Speaker 2: in my soul is moving towards love. But I'm too
- 24:40Speaker 2: trapped in the city. And so that's just the first
- 24:42Speaker 2: time I'm giving that name of that album, which is
- 24:44Speaker 2: trapped in the city.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Okay, so the Red album is trapped in the city.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, that very la centric album, exactly. And I
- 24:53Speaker 2: love being able to drop these so close because, like
- 24:55Speaker 2: I said, it takes away that fear of like an
- 24:57Speaker 2: artist being like what if my this Like you said,
- 24:59Speaker 2: what if this fan?
- 25:00Speaker 3: It's like, well, right, pink is right there, you know
- 25:04Speaker 3: what I mean, Blue is right there, Red is right there.
- 25:06Speaker 3: So if there's different versions of reason that you liked more,
- 25:10Speaker 3: that music is still there. You get what I'm saying.
- 25:12Speaker 1: So can you speak from the artist's perspective and experience,
- 25:15Speaker 1: because you have a unique experience where you've been on
- 25:17Speaker 1: the opposite, the opposite end of the spectrum where you
- 25:20Speaker 1: drop very seldomly to where now you're able to drop
- 25:23Speaker 1: when you want. And I know a lot of artists,
- 25:27Speaker 1: whether they're independent, whether they're a major artist, whatever, it
- 25:29Speaker 1: is a lot of times they'll overthink putting music out
- 25:34Speaker 1: and you know, adding to the catalog at a pace
- 25:37Speaker 1: that you know, because I feel like people overthink everything. Man,
- 25:40Speaker 1: I don't got enough content shot.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Or people overthink everything down to like the posts that
- 25:45Speaker 2: they post on you know.
- 25:47Speaker 3: What I mean.
- 25:47Speaker 1: So I want to just from your perspective, man, like,
- 25:49Speaker 1: how does it feel to be able to just be
- 25:52Speaker 1: free and be like, Yo, we're not overthinking this. I
- 25:54Speaker 1: mean obviously you're you're putting thought into it because you're
- 25:56Speaker 1: showing these concept albums, but just is it like a liberal?
- 26:00Speaker 3: Is it work?
- 26:01Speaker 1: Like do you regret being like yo, we drop back
- 26:04Speaker 1: to back now.
- 26:05Speaker 2: It's it's literally one of those things where because I
- 26:08Speaker 2: am even still in my life, I'm an overthinker, but
- 26:10Speaker 2: it's one of those things where when you get freedom
- 26:14Speaker 2: taken away from you. It's like anytime that I'm thinking
- 26:17Speaker 2: about overthinking something.
- 26:19Speaker 3: That's what I go to is the fact that, like
- 26:22Speaker 3: you fought to have the ability to do this.
- 26:25Speaker 2: You get what I'm saying, Like, even me and Salla's
- 26:26Speaker 2: talk about it all the time, like I'll hit him
- 26:28Speaker 2: and I'll be like, bro, like the dish ro is
- 26:30Speaker 2: just like every fucking day to call him my phone,
- 26:32Speaker 2: call him and sounds like, well, nigga, you ask for this,
- 26:34Speaker 2: like this is what you want you, this is what
- 26:35Speaker 2: you want it, you know what I mean. And so
- 26:36Speaker 2: it's like when I am about to overthink something, that's
- 26:39Speaker 2: the way I view it, and I just always tell
- 26:43Speaker 2: myself like, it's never It's never what you think. It
- 26:46Speaker 2: is basically saying like you you get up to play
- 26:48Speaker 2: and you want to hit a homer every time. You're
- 26:50Speaker 2: not going to hit a home run every time. So
- 26:51Speaker 2: it's like, why are you overthinking it? Just swing the back,
- 26:54Speaker 2: make contact, you know what I'm saying, and get on base,
- 26:57Speaker 2: and then sooner or later you'll not want you know
- 26:59Speaker 2: what I'm saying, You'll not going out the park, you
- 27:00Speaker 2: know what I mean. But I think that that's what
- 27:02Speaker 2: artists do is they just overthink, overthink, overthink, and they
- 27:05Speaker 2: don't understand that while you're overthinking, especially if you had
- 27:07Speaker 2: a moment and a wave, if you're overthinking, you lose
- 27:11Speaker 2: the moment. Like the only way you can lose it
- 27:12Speaker 2: is if you give your moment or fire or gas
- 27:17Speaker 2: away to somebody else. And the easiest way to do
- 27:19Speaker 2: that is by just literally not doing anything.
- 27:22Speaker 1: By just sitting on the bench.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Just sitting on the bench, bro, just sitting on the bench.
- 27:25Speaker 2: And you know, if you're a huge artist, you can
- 27:27Speaker 2: do that. If you're Frank Ocean, if you're a Sisa,
- 27:29Speaker 2: if you're Drake, you can sit and then wait for
- 27:32Speaker 2: three years and then you know, when you come back,
- 27:34Speaker 2: it'll be it'll be a moment. But if you're not,
- 27:36Speaker 2: you gotta it's too much going on in this world, bro,
- 27:39Speaker 2: Like people's attention span is so short.
- 27:42Speaker 1: All right, So look this album is out. You got
- 27:45Speaker 1: the record with Eric Bellinger's Dope. I know you got
- 27:47Speaker 1: a video for that out, are you? Are you? You
- 27:50Speaker 1: already got the next thing like finished?
- 27:52Speaker 3: Yeaheah. Yeah.
- 27:53Speaker 2: So we we just dropped the Humbleum video with Couzins.
- 27:57Speaker 2: That was yesterday, if I'm right, Yeah, yesterday, we just
- 27:59Speaker 2: dropped that video. We're gonna shoot a video for uh
- 28:02Speaker 2: fuck Up the Vibe. That's FEU TV on the project
- 28:04Speaker 2: with Kaylin.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Uh.
- 28:05Speaker 2: So we're gonna shoot a video for that and then
- 28:08Speaker 2: my director Chris, I'm kind of giving him creative control.
- 28:11Speaker 2: He wants to shoot two different videos, so I told him,
- 28:13Speaker 2: whatever songs he want to shoot, you know what I mean,
- 28:15Speaker 2: we can knock them out. And Chris is like the
- 28:17Speaker 2: best when it comes to like the creative shitt and
- 28:18Speaker 2: stuff like that. So we're doing that. And then honestly,
- 28:21Speaker 2: other than that, just gearing enough for shows. We got
- 28:23Speaker 2: to show up the rock Sy on the twenty eighth,
- 28:24Speaker 2: May twenty eighth, so if you' all in town, please
- 28:26Speaker 2: pop up to that twenty eighth. If you're in New York,
- 28:29Speaker 2: we got to show on May fourteenth at the Racket.
- 28:31Speaker 2: And I'm just working, bro like it's it's literally NonStop
- 28:33Speaker 2: and it's tiring, but I'm having fun doing it, you
- 28:36Speaker 2: know what i mean.
- 28:36Speaker 1: So and then I'm assuming we're gonna get this other
- 28:38Speaker 1: album before the end of the summer.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Yes, yes, one thousand got it got to be in
- 28:43Speaker 2: the summer. It gotta get a summer. So yeah, we
- 28:45Speaker 2: we sprinting racing too that to like to make sure
- 28:47Speaker 2: that we get that one turned in. And so, uh,
- 28:49Speaker 2: that one I'm gonna have to pull up on niggas
- 28:51Speaker 2: to get my cause I wanted to be feature heavy,
- 28:53Speaker 2: but I don't want to wait on la niggas you
- 28:55Speaker 2: about to say, you know, I gotta pull like I
- 28:59Speaker 2: need this, literally got to pull up. That's how I
- 29:01Speaker 2: got the Kaylin record. And I've been knowing Kaala since
- 29:02Speaker 2: we was kids.
- 29:03Speaker 1: You gotta pull up.
- 29:04Speaker 2: I just yeah, caught out and say, hey, what are
