- 0:40I know all the podcast episodes are different, but this one you're going to need your pen.
- 0:45And the piece of paper.
- 0:47And write down all the information.
- 0:50To fig back to your doctor to get the proper test for you.
- 0:57Gun the days where we do the basic blood tests.
- 1:01Basic blood tests can only go so far.
- 1:04And most often they come back normal.
- 1:06And as we know, if you were normal, then you wouldn't be going.
- 1:11To see a doctor's office and I'm venting to them, how unwell you've been feeling and how you need help because something is wrong and you can feel that something is wrong.
- 1:21That is why you are continuously looking for that.
- 1:24Those.
- 1:24Doing what you're supposed to do, scheduling an appointment, seeing your doctors to get help.
- 1:30However it is.
- 1:32We're listed the say, or it is fair to say that many doctors don't, we look for the right markers.
- 1:38If you educate yourself, And new bring to them.
- 1:42The market's going, I'm going to be discussing today.
- 1:45You will be taking your house.
- 1:47So far, you will get so much information you and your doctor can help you literally start identifying the root cause.
- 1:56And also what kind of healing or products or supplements is needed.
- 2:01Or medications is needed to help you address.
- 2:04You're half conditions.
- 2:06This podcast is one you're going to have to listen to over and over again.
- 2:11One thing I have to mention is that with all these markers, they all can be covered by insurance.
- 2:16They are not complicated markers that insurance cannot be cover.
- 2:21You just have to find a doctor that are looking for, with cause and inflammation and toxins to get these markers prescribe.
- 2:27The doctor also have to have, documentation as well.
- 2:30So this is a laptop script.
- 2:33That you would get from your doctor and we know that lab cop is covered by insurance so there's a lot of things you can do that insurance will cover I have to say this podcast is a mouthful.
- 2:44All the name of the the lab markers, I'm going to be potentiating is a mouthful.
- 2:49I have to literally repeat myself a lot of times as I'm preparing for this podcast and I'm looking at the markers, I'm like, okay, let's say it right, because we have to make sure you understand.
- 2:58What to ask for, and also able to potentiate.
- 3:02And with my beautiful accent, I was like, okay, this is going to be fun.
- 3:06Listen to this with an open mind, open your ears, have fun.
- 3:10And giggle and laugh like I was doing.
- 3:13As I'm pronouncing because the man who came up with the names, but anyways, All right.
- 3:17You'll get it.
- 3:18you'll get it And I'm going to go very slow.
- 3:20So that I can.
- 3:21give you the information, cause I didn't see talk really fast and I need you to really get all the details in this podcast and write down all the lab markers I'm going to be discussing.
- 3:31We only start helping yourself, That's the education I'm talking about is to get yourself through enough.
- 3:37To help your doctor help you.
- 3:39If you don't know what the doctor should be looking for.
- 3:41And then you're at the mercy of the doctor and they do basic blood work.
- 3:45You still feel in the same way or even worse.
- 3:48You're going to get frustrated and anxious.
- 3:50Let's just give you the information.
- 3:52For you to help yourself.
- 3:54Knowledge that's with you first.
- 3:56Healing starts with you first.
- 3:58On the last podcast, I talked about inflammation, acute inflammation, chronic inflammation, how it is.
- 4:06Affecting every single part of our bodies, every single cells, organs, and how those inflammatory markers.
- 4:12We need to know that it's going to help us.
- 4:14So considering all health issues.
- 4:17They are caused by chronic inflammation.
- 4:20These EAs.
- 4:21Is it a result of a chronic inflammation?
- 4:24So understanding the markers.
- 4:25I believe that every single human being.
- 4:28Should be doing all these markers now.
- 4:31Disclaimer.
- 4:32Please don't take this marker to diagnose yourself.
- 4:35Take this information, go to your doctor, go to your practitioner for help.
- 4:39At least you can help them and they can look at the right markers.
- 4:42They are.
- 4:42Let me see.
- 4:43I have 10 to 12.
- 4:45Inflammatory markers that you need to look for.
- 4:47Cause at the end of the day, we are all inflamed toxins.
- 4:51Give us inflammation, inflammation.
- 4:53Leads to disease.
- 4:54I'm going to die saying that the more you understand this concept.
- 4:58The more you're going to save yourself.
- 4:59And heal yourself.
- 5:00And get the proper treatment.
- 5:02And work with the soulmate doctor.
- 5:04The first marker, I think every single human being should look at now.
- 5:08let's just say this.
- 5:10This is not your typical basic blood work.
- 5:12We are not checking CBC, which is complete blood counts or CMP.
- 5:16These things already done, or the doctors are doing that.
- 5:19I'm talking about markers that you probably never heard of.
- 5:22Oh, maybe you heard of them.
- 5:23And you wonder what they are and how.
- 5:26They contribute to a disease.
- 5:28Or how they can contribute to your healing.
- 5:31these are the markers.
- 5:32The first one we're going to talk about is a hypersensitivity.
- 5:35C-reactive protein.
- 5:37All the markets I'm discussing today, I checked on every single human being.
- 5:40The hyper sensitive C-reactive protein.
- 5:42Is a test.
- 5:44Again, I highly recommend.
- 5:46It measures ports in produced in your liver.
- 5:50That indicates inflammation levels in your body.
- 5:54here, it goes deliver again.
- 5:55And most often when mythologist or experts in auto immune health conditions, which at that marker.
- 6:02But I think every single human being to check it because when you have increased.
- 6:06CRP.
- 6:07Or H S dash CRP hypersensitive C-reactive protein.
- 6:13It is associated with muscle strength, weakness, like arthritis, or all of you, wonderful people that have arthritis.
- 6:20You need to check your CRP now.
- 6:22An elevated CRP leads to diabetes.
- 6:25Cancer heart disease and stroke.
- 6:29Also.
- 6:29Colitis disease.
- 6:31Sleep apnea.
- 6:32And again, our a.
- 6:33There's an auto immune condition.
- 6:35Not a good range is between zero to three.
- 6:39If your CRP is past three, then you can have a risk for all these diseases that I mentioned.
- 6:45Again, cancer, heart disease.
- 6:47It would have about this.
- 6:47disease, sleep apnea.
- 6:49Uh, a auto immune diabetes.
- 6:51So please check your hyper-sensitive C-reactive protein.
- 6:55The next marker at the, every single human being should check for is a fasting insulin.
- 7:01I know where the check in your glucose, most doctors or they check in your hemoglobin A1C.
- 7:07Or your blood sugar.
- 7:08That's where I come in.
- 7:09I sit at a lot in a lot of my patients blood work when they submit that to me from previous partitioner.
- 7:16So what do you know?
- 7:17We need to check your hemoglobin A1C that's given, but most people are not checking your fasting insulin.
- 7:23It is a blood test.
- 7:24And blood sugar and balances.
- 7:27May increase your risk for inflammation.
- 7:29Incident is produced by your pancreas.
- 7:31You're looking at your increased risk of getting diabetes incident with distance, but you also looking at the function of your pancreas.
- 7:40Now.
- 7:40A healthy range of insulin fasting insulins between 2.6 to 23.
- 7:46I like that number to be between 2.6 to 10, but depending on the laboratory, we have different ranges.
- 7:53When you have increased fast and insolent and you have increased carb cravings, you have inflammation all over your body.
- 8:01You have blood glucose going up in yourselves?
- 8:04You have issues with your pancreas, your size or struggled to put this energy and you find yourself eating a lot of carbs.
- 8:11So please have your doctor check for your fasting.
- 8:14Insulin to make sure that you are not at risk for insulin resistance.
- 8:19The next marker.
- 8:20I think we should check for that.
- 8:22I've seen some people check, but not everybody is a serum Farrington.
- 8:26Ferentz and measures the level of parents and in your body, in the work to iron deficiency, anemia.
- 8:33You know how many times I'll see people come to me with iron deficiency anemia, but there's no sites of Farrington.
- 8:39We need to check that.
- 8:40So fountain level was mobi associated with iron deficiency, anemia.
- 8:44And age-related inflammation in all the people.
- 8:47When your elevation of Farrington is present, that indicate liver disease.
- 8:54That's not a reason why we need to check it.
- 8:56Liver disease.
- 8:57Auto immune disease and even cancer.
- 9:00A good range of Farrington is between 30 to 400.
- 9:04But I like to say between 50 to 100 for, females, 72, when 54 males.
- 9:11So Farrington is involved in iron overload, acute inflammatory conditions, liver disease, and alcohol access.
- 9:19So we need to check to see what this potent is doing.
- 9:22What it is Willy important, and most people do not look at that.
- 9:26The next marker.
- 9:27We should be checking that's.
- 9:28What inflammatory markers is.
- 9:30Homocysteine.
- 9:31Homocysteine is a common I'm.
- 9:33I'm in an acid.
- 9:34In your blood that we get from eating meat.
- 9:37Homocysteine is a good marker to check for cardiovascular disease.
- 9:41All my high blood pressure patients, my diabetes patients, my cholesterol patients, we need to check for homocysteine because that can help us to see how much inflammation and it responds to acute coronary syndrome.
- 9:53A good range of homocysteine should be between six and nine.
- 9:57but I like to see it under eight, to be honest with you, but six and nine, again, home assistant can be a indication of injuries in your arteries as a presence of fatty substance, like through plaque, Lesions in your arteries and can also indicate that you have, Cells that are causing damage to the site.
- 10:16Of your arteries.
- 10:18So that's why we need to check to make sure that your.
- 10:21Risk for heart disease is not as elevated.
- 10:24The next marker is at you also need to check is our D H lactate de hydro Jenny's.
- 10:33Our D H is an enzymes found in all living cells.
- 10:37Its job is to have support energy production.
- 10:41And in the lactate and Buford cycle of the glycolysis.
- 10:44That's a lot of.
- 10:45Medical term here.
- 10:46No that we needed.
- 10:47For energy.
- 10:48But action.
- 10:49And elevated levels may indicate inflammation.
- 10:52According to the journal of aging, they said elevated LDH markers may be a risk factor for severe respiratory illness.
- 11:02So we want that level to be between one 40 to 180.
- 11:05Over 180 is an indication of inflammation.
- 11:08So think about energy.
- 11:09Think about LDA.
- 11:10So for all my chronic fatigue, Patients or my COVID patients or my long haulers.
- 11:16I check L D H N every single one of them, because we know that corny fatigue is the most reported symptoms in this population.
- 11:25And I need to know what is happening to the bodies.
- 11:28So I check that marker.
- 11:30So the next one.
- 11:32We need to check in terms of inflammation is neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio.
- 11:37And neutrophil lymphocyte, which, or an L R is a measure of stress.
- 11:43And inflammation that may affect your health.
- 11:45When the body's dealing with chronic inflammation over time, the lymphocyte, which is part of the white blood cells.
- 11:51And the neutral field, which is part of your right, but cells level would drop.
- 11:55And the neutrophil level would rise so you have an imbalanced.
- 11:58So you want that ratio to be a good ratio.
- 12:00You want it to be between 1.2 to two.
- 12:03If you see that number of neutrophils.
- 12:04Or more.
- 12:05Then twice, they might have lent for site.
- 12:07It is a signs of chronic inflammation.
- 12:10So don't believe that there is anybody that tells you, you cannot measure inflammation.
- 12:14Yes, you can.
- 12:15There are markers on it to do.
- 12:17They just have to know what the markers are in order for you to see the degree, the severity of your inflammation in your body.
- 12:23The next one is the liver enzymes.
- 12:25You know, I cannot leave your liver enzymes, although this part of your complete metabolic panel, but there are certain enzymes you need to look for besides the alt.
- 12:33Alanine.
- 12:34Amino transfer rates.
- 12:36I'm in a transfer race.
- 12:38Alt, which is a liver enzyme specifically to deliver.
- 12:42We want that Margaret to be between 10 and 26.
- 12:45Even sometimes that marker is not elevated and people have fatty liver disease.
- 12:49And then aspartate trans San minis.
- 12:52ESC is another enzyme split in the liver that spells out during a time of increased liver stress.
- 12:59And when that market to be between 10 to 26, again, Look at your laboratory reference range.
- 13:04These markers can be different.
- 13:06But this is just the basic one.
- 13:08What I've seen in LabCorp and also quest diagnostic.
- 13:11We also need to check for liver enzymes.
- 13:15G G T gamma glutamyl transpeptidase it's an enzyme.
- 13:21In the liver and pancreas and kidneys.
- 13:23Elevated levels indicates inflammation in the liver and also liver disease.
- 13:28Due to alcohol.
- 13:29And sluggish bowels or go stone.
- 13:31Obstruction.
- 13:32So if you feel like you have gallstones.
- 13:35You need to check your G G T.
- 13:37gamma gamma T.
- 13:39G G T Normal range should be between 10 and 26 lower levels.
- 13:44Then 10 can indicate a deficiency of vitamin B6.
- 13:49So many things you can get from blood work that are covered by insurance.
- 13:52And the next one you should also check is alkaline phosphate.
- 13:55Another liver enzymes.
- 13:57which we want to be, between 55 and 95.
- 14:00Again, high levels of alkaline phosphate.
- 14:03And indicate liver and biliary stress bone growth in the body.
- 14:09Low levels can indicate a zinc deficiency.
- 14:12So for my cancer patients, I check ALP.
- 14:16Alkaline phosphate that helps me.
- 14:19Identified as an, any metastasize to the bone.
- 14:21And also immunity because Zack is part of your immune system.
- 14:25Of course, many of you guys are checking the lipid panel.
- 14:28That's also part of inflammation, triglyceride.
- 14:32VLDL.
- 14:34L a M L D L.
- 14:35So these are given many doctors are checking that, so we didn't have to discuss that.
- 14:39And I think the last marker.
- 14:42I have for you that we need to check is we have not discussed.
- 14:46Is E S R it will recite sedimentation rate.
- 14:52It's a common blood markers to look for inflammation.
- 14:56It refers to the rate that which red blood cells is into coagulate the blood.
- 15:01Go down.
- 15:02Do over a period of one hour.
- 15:05what does that mean?
- 15:06Inflammation, inflammation, inflammation, a good range should be between.
- 15:101 75 to two 50.
- 15:12Again, check the reference to rage.
- 15:14Talk to your, practitioners.
- 15:15They may be used in different laboratories.
- 15:17You can also look at platelets as a measurement of tools of inflammation and the thickness of the platelets, platelets, elevation.
- 15:24Above two 50, the signs of inflammation.
- 15:27The sweet spots for platelets should be between one.
- 15:3050 to two 50 below, one 50.
- 15:34and to get some immune function.
- 15:35Blood clotting.
- 15:37it also.
- 15:38We don't want any class.
- 15:39So on that.
- 15:40Test we need to look for is a D dimer.
- 15:43It did.
- 15:43Dimer is an indication of clots that could be traveling to your lungs.
- 15:49Pulmonary embolism.
- 15:50Also evaluates.
- 15:51If you have class in your vein, like defend from bosses.
- 15:54And we want to keep a good.
- 15:56Marker.
- 15:57Is under 0.4.
- 16:00For D dimers as Cindy diamonds, severely elevated, and then these people at risk for clots, and sometimes they even have microscopic clots.
- 16:09And I see these markers elevated a lot of our post COVID patients, long holders, because again, the virus will enter your body.
- 16:17Create massive inflammation damage at the cellular level.
- 16:20Even if you over the symptoms and as symptomatics, or you have long haulers, you still need to check those inflammatory markers.
- 16:28So I hope you get some value out of this podcast.
- 16:31If you want podcasts like this, where you can just take this information.
- 16:35I write it down and take it to your doctor.
- 16:38Let me know.
- 16:38We can talk about other blood markers that I look for pathogens.
- 16:42the antibodies that I mentioned in the believer podcast and also the right markers for Taiwanese, for cancers.
- 16:48That I looked at so many things we can do because there are so many.
- 16:52Information that your body.
- 16:54it's providing to you in terms of blood tests, in terms of symptoms, in terms of signs you can take to your doctor to help you.
- 17:02So that's it again.
- 17:03Help me spread the word, share this podcast with all the people that, you know, let them know that there are these markers.
- 17:09they need to be checked by a doctor.
- 17:11It is a must for you to help your body because this marker saves life, literally saves lives.
- 17:18If you can decrease the amount of inflammation.
- 17:20In your body.
- 17:21That means you are a decrease in the amount of toxins in your body.
- 17:24So the decrease in the amount of this ease in your body.
- 17:27So this blood test can save life.
