- 0:02[SPEAKER_00]: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_00]: This is your host, Izzy, right here on the Redstone Report, part of the built in Buffalo, YouTube, X, and Facebook, network of podcasts and live streams.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm here to talk about the NFL draft combine.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_00]: Today's, I believe, the last day of the NFL draft combined, and it's offensive lineman.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: And they're not really on my list of needs with Buffalo Bill.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to talk about the other positions that are positions of need.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: Mostly, some of these guys I've talked about in my last week's stream.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: And some of these guys I have not talked about.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about who went out there and improved their position.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: In this year's NFL draft.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: Let's start in just a second.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about it.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: Well, welcome, everybody.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm your host, Izzy.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: Again, this is the Reds and Report on the built-in Buffalo's social media platforms.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm here to discuss the NFL draft combine and the players that
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: had improved themselves at said combine with their performances and yeah some of these guys really went out there and did something with their you know drills and did did amazing job to to show that they are worthy of being drafted higher than what we may have originally anticipated in the centerfield draft so these are the winners of the combine.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: And some of these guys are going to be obvious if you pay attention to the NFL draft and the NFL combine and college ball and some of you guys are going to have a favorite team and you're going to have players from that favorite team and you know hope that they make it the NFL or you know and hopefully the bills if you're if you're elected in college.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: That they will be successful here and you know or wherever they go, but you know.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's, it's fun being a football fan, you know, when your teams are looking to improve, it's fun being a football fan when the season is going.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's fun being a football fan when your team's in the playoffs.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's fun being a football fan, you know, during OTAs and, you know, when your team's healthy and all that good stuff, it's not fun when your team loses the playoffs.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: So the playoffs are over and now we are on to the next one guys.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: This is the post-season officially ramping up.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: The new league year starts pretty soon here.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: and the combine just happened.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: So the players that we're going to get into are, we'll before I get into that.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: Good evening, Sandra, as always.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: And to my good buddy Kim Boom Hauer, you hope you guys are having a great night.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: The first player or position I'm going to go is the wide receiver.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's obviously the position that everybody really is concerned
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: And so with that being said, the first wide receiver on the board is when has been talked about to the Buffalo Bills a lot more later on than early on, some of these guys did not perform at the combine like Casey Conception.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: He did not do any drills or anything like that.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: He's you know, it's was pro day, other guys, you know, performed at the combine, but didn't do as well.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: I figured with Ohio Statewide receivers name is, but he didn't he didn't do as well.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: I can look that up pretty easily though.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: Carnal tape, did not perform particularly well, but, you know, he didn't run too slow either.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: He ran a 453, so these guys that we're listening right now, they did very well on their drills and we're going to see, first guy up is Omar Cooper Jr., now.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: I never thought this guy was a burner per se, right?
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: And he's not really a burner like, you know, with the top top end speed like that.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: But he ran a four, four, two, four to your dash.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: Omar Cooper Jr went out there and did exactly what he needed to do to show that people mocking him to the bills in the first round isn't you know an exaggeration or it's like that or if the bill is going to trade back into the second round to get him closer to his his actual value because his value in the draft circles that I kind of operate in have him as the 57th overranked overall rank player 9th at receiver.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: And the point is, a lot of the guys who are ranked above them are slot receivers and we don't need any more slot receivers.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: We got slot receivers.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: We got key on a comb in a big slot.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: We've got, you know, close to care who's a really good slot.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: You may go after a slot receiver in his draft.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: He was barely in the slot.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: You're for that.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: Once Joe Ray took over or he was mostly in the slot last year.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: almost entirely.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember him being on the outside much at all.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: They before that, once Joe Brady took over, he was almost exclusively in the slot again.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: They need to have him running more routes down the field.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: He can run routes down the field.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: We've seen him run routes down the field.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: We've seen him running immediate routes.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's got the speed.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's got four, four, two speed himself, Kalishakira.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: So if they really wanted to go after somebody in the slot, they're going to have to commit to putting Kalishakira on the outside more.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, that slot room stays crowded because this is being crowded.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's time to go get somebody who's not in the slot, exclusively.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: Now, that that's a big what if Omar Cooper is a multi-role guy.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: He can play the X, he can play the Y, he can play the Z.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: He can play all those roles and he is being compared to Debo Samuel, which I can see in his style of play, but I cannot see it in how he
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: actually physically size his up.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: Debo Samuel six foot or five eleven to six foot, you know, 215 pounds.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: Omar Cooper is six foot one ninety nine.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: So he's bigger than Chiquir, he's a whole inch taller and he's a whole nine pounds heavier.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: But that's kind of where the difference is end outside of his route tree.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: Now, in the combine, his production score as in how much he produced in college was third overall, and his athleticist in score was 19th.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I don't know how that is.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't do the broad jumps.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't do the three cone.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't do the 20-yard shuttle, and he didn't do the branch.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: He just did the 40, the 10-yard split, which is part of the 40s.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: The first 10-yard, obviously.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: And in the vertical jump, he didn't.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: He had a vertical of 37 inches.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: pretty good when it comes to the speed department.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: We all know that speed doesn't necessarily win you anything.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Could there is Tony was really fast?
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: They were the ran really fast.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: What did they do in the NFL?
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: Both of them with Patrick Mahomes as their quarterback at times.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: worthy the entire time, except for last year when the home's got hurt.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: And then Cadair is Tony when he got traded to them by the giants.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: So when he left the giants and goes to the chiefs, Cadair is Tony was with Patrick my home.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: So the quarterback can't be the excuse for those guys.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: Speed kills, yes, it does, but speed is not the only factor involved in why receiver play.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's just not separation can mean lots of different things.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: You have guys like Devante Adams, you got guys like Kenan Allen, you've got guys like Anquan Bolden in the past who didn't run top flight 40s and these guys still found ways to separate, which is why the bills were willing to pull the trigger last year on Keyon Coleman.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: Even though they knew that in college you couldn't really separate that well they thought maybe the NFL level with the proper coaching You'd be able to develop some of that separation and you know in the meantime be the big boy getting the wall top shelf kind of guy hasn't paned out that well, but it's paned out better than what the chief's got for Xavier worthy Xavier really hasn't really paned out that well, so you what do you do we they're looking at or I don't know if the bills are looking at but
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: the experts are looking at Omar Cooper Jr. And I like the prospect better in a second round, but what he does and can do, I do like.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: And his style being like Debo Samuel.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: If I told you hey, we could get a guy like Debo Samuel in here.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: Most Bill's fans in Debo's prime would be like,
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: sign me up, somebody who's actually shown the ability to separate, maybe not the cleanest route runner, maybe not the, you know, the best footwork, but still good separation and good hands.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_00]: Sky, they yesterday with that 442 definitely increased his draft ability.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: And so all my Cooper.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: If the bills decide to trade back because they don't have anybody on the board worthy of the 26th overall pick, I can see him drop him back to the 40s and then taking Cooper that's definitely a possibility this draft is really receiver heavy and so.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: Cooper do you think then next receiver on the board.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: is Deon Berks, why does he roll Oklahoma?
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: Last week, I spoke about Cooper.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: This week, I'm speaking about Berks.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: He was not on my list last week.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: My list last week was on my Cooper.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: It was Casey Concepion, and it was Chris Bell.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: Those are my guys last week, I talk about.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: Deon Berks went out there and lit it up.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: He is 5 foot 10, 180.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: He is more of a slot receiver.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: He ran a 43 flat though.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: So if again, your commitment is to pushing Kalushikira outside, and you have a 43 receiver on the outside, or on the inside, you can run a lot more of those short routes with this guy and he can take it.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: But I prefer to stay away from this guy, but his draft stock has gone up tremendously.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't hear many of you talking about Dion Berks at a level where they thought he would go high,
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: he might jump to the third round, maybe second round with this performance today or this week.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really have a comp form, but dude was flying and he did the bench press too.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: So he's got some strength on he as a wide receiver at 510 180, dude put up 26 reps
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you why that's crazy because if you go to the NFL combine right and you look up the tracker there and you go to live results defensive tackle bench he did better than
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: One hundred twenty five and a little bit of twenty one.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: This kid we're not there and put up twenty six reps on the bench.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: So he's strong, especially for his size.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: He's very strong for his size.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: His athletic score was a 93 second overall on this NFL combine.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: Four three speed one four nine split vertical jump a four point two or 42.5.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: Broad jump of 10 eleven didn't do three cone didn't do 20 art shuttle.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: So if speed is what the bills are really after, and if speed is what the bills are really trying to get to, the on-bricks is an option.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: Now, again, I'm not punting the table for no slot receiver.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: If they believe that he can play outside, then maybe sure, you go after him.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not positive that's really what he is.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: Let me see, Berks can pull up his draft buzz profile.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: They have him as a multi-roll receiver, okay?
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: So, NFL.com says he's a slot receiver.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: They go very description analyst by analysis by Lance Zirline, fifth year slot receiver, who is savvy against zone coverage and crafty after making a catch bricks does a good job of utilizing his straight line speed.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: When the ball is in his hands, he struggles to win on vertical routes though.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: Sounds like Curtis Samuel and me a little bit.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: He creates windows underneath by crispy breaking off short routes.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: He's a compact, short arm target who secures catches through contact.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: That sounds a little bit more like Kalushikir.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: However, his production left something to be desired during his time at Purdue and Oklahoma.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: Comebacks and curls are often swallowed, coaching, and route work could lead to improvement in those areas.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: Berks lacks standout measurements, but better quarterback play could unlock more productive player.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: So the quarterback play at Oklahoma this past year from when I understand wasn't great.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: Wasn't terrible, but wasn't great.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why they're saying that him having better quarterback could really lead to something with this kid.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: I like the Umberks.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: And if... And if I don't come saying this a lot, but and if I'll draft us as he is multi-role, so he can play inside and out.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: And the bills as I take a shot on them, I wouldn't be mad, but I'd be cautious.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'd be cautiously optimistic about it, just because of, you know, the nature of the player.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: And what he was described as in college.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: And just because he was a slot receiver in college doesn't mean he necessarily has to project
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: And just because he was an outside receiver in college, doesn't mean he would have to be that in the pros as well.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_00]: People change positions sometimes and sometimes you're within the same position, but you just move like you would.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: Who's the corner for the.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: For the chiefs.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm forgetting his name, but he.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: He played nickel for the most part.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: He won first team all pro a couple of years ago.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: And then now he's playing outside when they lost, when they traded all the way to the Titans.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: So sometimes people move positions in transition and can do it just fine.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: It'd be something to see if he could because, again, his straight line speed is really good.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: But for some reason, he has trouble with deep rounds, which I don't understand.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: Now, looking at my third option at wide receiver, not option for the bills to draft, but my third guy who really propelled himself in his combine, because this has less to do with the bills overall, and more with their jump, although it does have some to do with the bills, because these are guys that we could potentially draft that and put anybody on here that we couldn't potentially draft, but there's a likelihood, the next guy, third receiver is Brennan Thompson.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if you watch college ball, everybody knew Bryn Thompson was fast.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: We all did not know that Bryn Thompson was 99th percentile fast.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: If speed is the key, this is your guy, this is, this is, this is this year's Xavier worthy.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: He's five nine, one sixty four, so really slight frame.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: His athleticist score was an 81 overall 11th in the class, but his speed is blazing.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think that his overall athleticist score is based on the fact that he didn't do anything but the 40 yard dash.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: That was all he did.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: So looking at his production score versus what he actually did, you know, we'll see because I'm about to pull him up over here.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: Mr. Brennan Thompson, Mississippi State.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: So he had 57 receptions for 1,054 yards, six receiving touchdowns, receiving average per catch, 18.5, he is 23 years old soon.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: We're at a 426 and they have him as an outside ex-receiver.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: So the question is, are we looking more at the size of the player?
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: Are we looking more at the,
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: the profile as to what he can do.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: Is he more, is he worthy or is he more like a Devante Smith?
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: Because Devante Smith for the Eagles also pretty small dude.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: He's not big at all, but he produces an NFL.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: He played at Bama versus Mississippi State, but this score of a 4, 2, 6, 40 yard dash with a 10 second, 10 yard split of 1.5, 4 really does flip things for him.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_00]: his 1.5, 410 yards split was 0.05 seconds slower than Xavier worthy and that's the difference between the 426 and a 421 apparently because top speed in the 40 yard dash, Brennan beat them.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: Brennan Thompson beat Xavier were the in top speed by like half a mile per hour by 0.5 miles per hour.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: So that's quite the increase in the actual speed and it felt comparisons include J.J. Nelson.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_00]: I remember him from I think was the Packers back in the day.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_00]: But.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, do do definitely show that he's got the burners question is, is he can be able to get off bigger corners separate down the field and make the catches because he has the speed, but the speeds out everything that we've seen that with Xavier worthy where the speed was all he had and he didn't really have the skills to get around people and we've seen that with Dante Smith or Devante Smith for the Eagles who is a route running tactician and
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, can really eat you alive and, you know, he's not really known for getting too deep.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: He is known for getting deep somewhat, but he can just get down the field and then put a move on you and you're just eating dirt.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: So the question is, is this guy more Smith or is he more worthy?
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: That's that's the big question with the Brennan Thompson.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we are done with wider severs and there are a couple of linebackers that we're going to go over next, right, not a lot of comments guys, not a lot of comments, plenty of people watching, but not a lot of comments, maybe I'm here.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: For people's background noise, a lot of people's on X Holy shoot, okay, do not expect that.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: But.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: Looking at the next position is one of the guys I talked about last week and it's Anthony Hill from Texas, dude ran a 4.5.1
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see them running that fast.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was going to be more of a four or six guy.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I see a 6, 2, 2, 3, 8, which is what he measured in the combine, which is exactly what he measured before that.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: So it looks like the colleges are starting to more accurately depict the player's actual size versus the player's, you know, combine size.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: Because at times we're like a guy like Michael Crabtree, we listen at 6, 3 and a half at Texas Tech, then he gets to the combine and he's 6, 1 and a half.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_00]: So they didn't inflate their numbers there and they didn't do anybody in the justice because you're still going to go to the combine get measured and be found lying.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_00]: the schools at least.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_00]: So, looks like they're getting more accurate with that.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: His athleticism score was 84 overall, six among his position, production score, 72, six amongst position, and his total score was a third amongst position with 81.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_00]: He is the third rated line-backer in this draft class, behind, Reese, and behind styles.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: Do run a 451 with a 1.58 second split.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: vertical jump 37 inches for a big guy that's a that's a big jump broad jump 10 10 foot five inches bench press 21 reps so another guy that Omar Cooper did more on the bench with or was it deon deon by bad deon bricks did more on the bench than Anthony Hill but
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: very good getting downhill.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_00]: Very good covering in the middle.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: His NFL comparison is Bobby Wagner.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, please.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take some Anthony Hill.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: I watched a bunch of his film at Texas.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: dude can play.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_00]: He can flat out play.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's an excellent linebacker.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: I've got a late first early second wrong grade on the kid, which is more than you usually see in the NFL draft.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_00]: You don't usually see, you know, three linebackers with first wrong grades.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: I got a first wrong grade in the guy.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: And his scores at the combine helped propel him forward.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to do so much better
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: or in college, I think that he's going to grow with proper defensive coaching.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: You give him to Jim Leonard.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think Jim Leonard can really improve his draft stock, really show you know what he can do.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_00]: Anthony Hill from Texas is a name that I think is going to be
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: on the bills radar.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: If the receivers are gone and they want to look at something in the second round, maybe even up in the second round for a Cooper or something like that or if they're dead set on receiver, they're not going to get anything healed.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think I might rather take Anthony Hill and then trade up in the second, give up a fifth and you know, move up because you know, the hell with them picks right now, you want to get the right quality guys.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I know a lot of people were like, yeah, look, give me more shots in the draft, trade back, get more picks,
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, maybe or maybe you go out in the free agency and you sign some veterans who can fill in for this year and then next year when you have more money and more draft capital within a deeper draft class, you can go get some of those guys.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think that this year's draft class, whatever, you know, it's not it's not that it would not be a class.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'd move up if I could for the receiver or the lineback or the second round.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: and that's how I feel about it.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you don't have to agree, but I think that if you can look at a Bobby Wagner type guy to play in this three or four defense, a guy who can find the right hole, find the running back, help stop the run, and be decent in coverage, sign me up, sign me up right away.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: The next linebacker is obvious.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_00]: He was on my thumbnail from Ohio State, linebacker, sunny
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: he's the second best linebacker in his draft and the other guys also in the Ohio State linebacker Reese are real Reese.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: Sunny styles were not there and had one of the best NFL combine performance that that you could have.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, his, his, his athleticism score was first overall.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: His production score, first overall.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: His total score, first overall.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: He will not be there when the Buffalo Bills are picking if he somehow falls.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: If teams are looking at offensive linemen and they're drafting more for need, rather than how good the player actually is.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_00]: And this guy falls to Buffalo.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm running to the podium, but it's probably like 90% chance it's not gonna happen.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's not gonna be there for the Buffalo Bills.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, please.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: Six foot five, 244 pounds and ran a four, four, six, 40.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: One point five, six seconds split.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: Which means that his top speed was quite a bit faster than Anthony Hill.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: Vertical jump, 43.5, broad jump, 11.2, three cone drills, 709, 20 yard shuttle, four, two, six, didn't do the bench.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: player comp, Fred Warner.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_00]: The number two linebacker in this class behind our memories is the most athletic and productive from this past year and his comparison is one of the best linebackers in NFL when healthy Fred Warner.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_00]: The third is compared to Bobby Wagner.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_00]: Neither of these guys might be there at 26.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_00]: Neither of them.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not dipping in the next year's draft class.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: Next year's draft is going to be so much deeper.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_00]: But man is tempting.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's very tempting when you've got linebackers of this caliber in this draft class.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_00]: My brother, go bills.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_00]: Love you, bro.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the show.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_00]: Happy to see you earlier today.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: Lunch was nice.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: You look at sunny styles and Anthony Hill, the athleticism drop-off is there slightly, but man, oh man, are they both productive in college?
- 25:25[SPEAKER_00]: They're both very productive in college.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I'd be happy to have you the one of them on this team.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: Be very happy to have you the one of them on this team.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: I doubt it's gonna be sunny styles.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_00]: I know for a fact it's not gonna be our real race, but I'd be very happy with Anthony Hill.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'd be very happy with them.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: But Sunny Styles, man, really propelled himself in his draft class to possibly a top 10 player.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, linebackers are the cornerstone of a defense, you know, edge wrestlers are probably one of the most important and one of the highly played paid players, but your middle linebacker is your quarterback on defense.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_00]: He's the guy who tells everybody where to be.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_00]: He's a guy who adjust the linemen.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's a guy who, who, who, who, who, who,
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: assigns the stunts when the coaches call it in.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's the green dot.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's the guy who's the brains, the defense.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: Sun is thousands of freaking animal men.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_00]: He's a freaking animal.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: And he was dope in college and his athleticism is through the roof.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's through the roof and guys on next, you guys can, you know, drop comments and I can read them to you.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: So you guys are not like left out of that.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_00]: I get excommens all the time.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: So if you guys want to comment, you can go ahead to sign a exclusive to Facebook and uh YouTube now.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: We are now we're going to another position and it's not a position in need.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're pretty set at this position.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: He's come by performance kind of wild me.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: And so you just never know what's going to happen.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe, you know, they cut Thai Johnson.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: And if this guy's around in the third round, maybe you go get him.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's running back Mike Washington, running out of Arkansas.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to say, running back twice.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: He's from U.S. in New York.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_00]: He played at Arkansas.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_00]: He's 61223.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_00]: So he'd be the big boy receiver or runback that you may want to be the power guy.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_00]: We do have Ray Davis.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_00]: This guy's much faster than Ray Davis.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_00]: Ray Davis ran in four or five.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_00]: I believe it was.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: This guy ran a 433 with a 10-year split of 1.51 with a vertical jump of 39 inches in a broad jump of 10 feet, 8 inches.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: They had him as like a
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: third or fourth brown pick.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'd say now he's the second to third brown pick.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: Late second, you know, to mid third, he could still fall to the fourth.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_00]: His production in college wasn't great, but he was on Arkansas.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: They're not exactly one of the better SEC teams, but they are at SEC team, which means that he played a lot of the really good competition in the SEC.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: But he is a big boy and a big boy running a fourth three is in sanity.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like imagine this dude like getting ahead of steam and then some safety or a corner is trying to tackle this guy good luck, buddy good luck because Mike Washington Jr. is a tank.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: He's a tank.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_00]: Do I see him going in the bills?
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: Could the bills draft him and then move on from Ty Johnson, they could this guy got good hands?
- 28:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, look at his strengths and weaknesses.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_00]: His NFL comparison is Chris Carson, not a backup person, not a bad run-and-back, third or fourth brown value I'd say in Chris Carson, I don't remember if he was drafted later on in that, but Let's take a look.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: So you know, Washington made stops at three different colleges and showed improvement with each move to a new school.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: He's fast with loose hips and adequate agility.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's not very sudden in tight quarters and his steps slow to see it and go when the whole opens.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: He can glide and swirl around interior traffic once he's on the move.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: uh... he has breakaway speed in the open field and it's capable as an inside outside runner running to his size with greater degree of aggressiveness will be the key as he makes the jump watching the straights and talent to become solid rotational back and that's where we be looking to draft him if we were going to draft him third fourth round and he'd be a guy that we look for as a
- 29:40[SPEAKER_00]: A compliment to James Cook.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_00]: James Cook's obviously our lead back.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to continue to be our lead back, and so yeah, that's that's where that.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's where that lies Moving on to the next position because this is a position of need Safety Dylan Thineman out of Oregon.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_00]: I talked about him last week.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_00]: His his speed was greatly underrated apparently because the dude is a dog
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: The dude is a dog.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: The time in speed went from like four, four, four, four, eight in estimation to four, three, five in actuality.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: He's at let-up score was first amongst all safety's.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_00]: So he's the most athletic safety in his class.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_00]: Again, 435 speed, 152, 10 yards split, vertical jump of 41 inches, broad jump of 10 feet, 5 inches, did 18 reps on the bench.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's a shirt tackler.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: His NFL comparison is Javan Holland.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: Right, he's a savvy three-year starter with NFL size, speed and alignment versatility.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: Thymein is an extension of his defensive coordinator, aligning and adjusting the secondary to motion and presnap shifts.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's instinctive, rangey safety, who can roll down into big nickel or robber positioning.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_00]: He has a good field for play design and route concepts in zone, but has average change in direction and breaks in man.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's not a big thumper near the line, so he's not a big thumper.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: but he rushes into action with relentless pursuit and should allow him to keep stacking high scores and tackle amounts.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: So he's a good takler, not a smasher.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: Thumbin checks important boxes for teams looking to add versatility or versatile playmakers in the secondary.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: Sounds like he fits exactly what Jim Lennon is looking for.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_00]: He's six foot two or one.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_00]: So he's right around like the more hamlin size, coal bishops like nine pounds heavier, like coal bishops like two to ten.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_00]: do this from a westfield in the and so he would he's plenty familiar with the cold and he played at Oregon.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: Dude could be a perfect fit here in Buffalo question is is he going to be there in the second round or the third round for the Buffalo bills also.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: If he is a first round valued player, then the bills want to, you know, pick a safety that high.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: This would be another guy that you look to trade back and acquire a couple of maybe a couple of second round picks or a second and a third, so I will you can go and take a shot at receiver in one round and then a shot at safety in the next, you know, say, look at the
- 32:27[SPEAKER_00]: the Jets or the Raiders, something like that.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_00]: If they want to trade back up into the first round, you give them your first, you get their second and third, very, very possible thing that you could do to stack some picks or, you know, anybody in the top 10, you know, move back a little bit and then get your guy.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_00]: Let me see if I have some comments.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_00]: I do.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yo, what's good is how you doing Robert, nice to have you back.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's a very, very good player, this defense is going to be something that really needs to be addressed in his draft, as well as water seeer, but the defense may end up being the priority, especially if in free agency, Bobby, all right, Bobby, I got you.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: So long as I remember, I have a terrible memory, I'm really, really bad with names.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: I need a haircut too, look at that.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I think that Dylan Thymon is a good prospect and he's a defensive player.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_00]: And so he may be someone that the bill's prioritized.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_00]: I have no for sure, but seems like somebody that they would be looking at chops for, especially Jim Leonard.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_00]: Camari Ramsey is the other safety.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I talked about him last week.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: This is the only position I believe where I talked about both guys that are on my list here, that performed at the combine and really elevated themselves in my humble opinion.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_00]: Camari Ramsey safety at a USC, both West Coast guys,
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's actually from Palmdale, California.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: He is six foot two hundred two pounds and he ran a four four seven.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: So he was estimated to run a four four or four five five or four five three or something like that.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: He exceeded that speed four four seven.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_00]: One point five seven ten yards split vertical jump 36 inches broad jump 10 foot bench press 16 reps.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_00]: He does not have a player comp here, versatile safety prospect with solid size, Ramsey, so I have your workload at Nickelback in 2025, at the splitting time, at all three safety spots in 2024.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_00]: He plays with average eyes and space and good brick anticipation when matched up in man.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think that most football bases, and this is not, I'm not still reading here, what Lance Irland had to say.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think that a lot of teams are starting to look at nickel as a safety rather than a corner.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why you're seeing a lot of this chatter about Taren Johnson moving to safety.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_00]: And while you had last year, the bills had a safety slash nickel coach.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: And then you had the corners coach.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_00]: So you had the corner coach separate from a safety slash nickel.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_00]: Here's why a lot of analysts are starting to call free safety strong safety and nickel and they kind of dropped the free and strong safety names from the position they're just safety you box safety deep safety and nickel safety
- 35:35[SPEAKER_00]: which to me fits more like a box safety because he's basically playing a lineback a position as with a box safety, but this is a smaller guy who's ranging in coverage.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_00]: See, he plays with average eyes in space and good break anticipation when matched up in man.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_00]: He was adequate covering the slot.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_00]: So if we're looking for a man guy, Camari Ramsey sounds like he'd be a better picked and Dylan, but overall athleticism, Dylan's more athletic.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: see might not have enough short area burst and athleticism to do the same in the pros.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_00]: He needs to close downhill and run sport with greater urgency when playing from depth.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_00]: His tackle finishing saw massive improvement 25 but like that means he's developing.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: But with multiple games missed in consecutive seasons, Ramsay's draft stock could take a hit so this is a guy you'd probably get in the fourth fifth round.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_00]: to the injury concerns.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_00]: So if they can, if they decide not to go get signing and decide to go linebacker receiver, whatever the position in the first round or, you know, whatever they pick first and they get to the fourth round and come on, Ram is in the board.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_00]: This could be a solid pick up and and Brandon Bean is known for picking good players in the third
- 36:53[SPEAKER_00]: uh... preken uh... what's his that taran johnson uh... christian benford he's done you know to get good guys in that range so here we are c'mon ranzi
- 37:15[SPEAKER_00]: Now, my next player and position is my last position I got, right?
- 37:19[SPEAKER_00]: The edge rushers, a lot of them didn't run 40 yard dash, a lot of them didn't do drills at the combine, a lot of them are going to just do their stuff at their pro days and let the tape speak with themselves.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I left them out, or not edge rushers, but like defensive linemen, not like.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: My brain is still stuck in four, three mode.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we're running a three, four now.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: So the outside linebackers are now, your edge rushers, and these are outside linebackers.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_00]: So edge rushers are here, not defensive tackles.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_00]: And what are the positions that I talked about last week that I'm not talking about today?
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: Talk about offensive line, I think it was.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of the guys didn't perform until today, and a lot of stuff is not listed yet on NFL.com.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: So, we're moving on to the next position, and that is outside landbacker edge rusher, which I last week I put, you know, DEOLB, we're at 34 now, so this is OLB, when we're in nickel, we're running at 2, 4, 5, so they're still technically landbackers, even though they'll be on the edge, and may have their hand in the dirt, minor differences, whatever, but
- 38:34[SPEAKER_00]: Malachi Lawrence outside linebacker University of Central Florida.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't have it on my list last week.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_00]: I did not six foot four 253 pounds Dude went out there and ran a four five two at that size 253 pounds ran a four five two with a 1.59 split a vertical of 40 inches and a broad jump of 10 in 10 foot 10 inches
- 39:00[SPEAKER_00]: The dude is explosive.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: He's explosive.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: He's got some get-off to him.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's a big guy with extreme athleticism.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_00]: At his position, he had the most athletic scores in the comma.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: He was number one athlete.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: His production scoring college was 19th overall.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm fixing to pull him up because, yeah.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: Malikai.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just a copy and paste and boom boom.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: Malikai Lawrence, University of Florida,
- 39:56[SPEAKER_00]: pressure for five to speed he played the he played the East West Triangle, which is known from smaller schools.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_00]: He had seven sacks last year, two fourths fumbles, 28 tackles, 18 of them solo for University of Central Florida.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's his production.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why his production is like 19th, but his actual you know, his actual ability there is more high
- 40:25[SPEAKER_00]: projective, right?
- 40:28[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to look more to project him forward rather than counting on a stats.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like when we drafted Greg Lucio, he had like 16 sacks this last year who played at Miami.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: He comes to the NFL.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's everything about eight sacks a year.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_00]: Not bad, but you know, not top shell features.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: He's about a mid tier, not mid tier, but like, like,
- 40:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like upper mid tier right he's not top flight.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's not like tray Hendrickson in those boys.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's he's just a below that edge rusher.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: It comes to pass rushing.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's got really good pressures.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then you go and you can Look at his run stopping ability and Very good.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now the rest of the defensive run stopping ability.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_00]: Very questionable, but
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: Greg, we're so really good against the run.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: Really seals the edge really well.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_00]: Now you look at this guy, he could be a guy that projects to the NFL and put up better numbers.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_00]: Does that happen a lot?
- 41:30[SPEAKER_00]: Not so much, but yeah.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_00]: John Brewster, keep Bosa.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not against keeping Bosa, and but I'm also not against letting them walk.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_00]: He said he wants to come back and for the right number, I'm down, and the bill's gonna actually save money on the cap due to his void years, buy bringing him back.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe, maybe they do.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, so his brother wants him to play with him.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_00]: However, both are said he is the most he's hung out with his teammates or this is the most he's hung out with his teammates.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: Since he's been in the league, the bill's brotherhood is what keeps players wanting to stay with us.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: That is a very good and valid point, Sandra Elking.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you again for always being here and paying attention and watching the show from beginning to the end.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_00]: You are a real one, Sandra.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very much.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate that very much.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_00]: We have Malachi,
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: Lawrence really, really, really helped his draft stock because he probably was projected as like a six, seven throne pit and that's not seventh, but
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: maybe a six or seven-thromb pick.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean they they have a fifth-ground pick projection on NFL draft buzz.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_00]: He's probably looking you know if a third they're around now.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see him as a first-round pick but again jumping from the fifth to the third round is a pretty big jump especially when a lot of guys that your position did not perform at the combine.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_00]: So this is a guy who I really had to go through the guys at the combine and see who actually participated in the damn thing to really, you know, see who boosted themselves.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_00]: Our produce are coming and this will change again somewhat because produce are not as rigorously, you know, monitor as the NFL combine like, and I'm going to end up coming everything is laser, you know, measured and and times.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_00]: So as soon as you come off that line.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_00]: Laser is going to turn when you cross the finish, you know, when you when you do your 10 yards split, there's a laser there picks up when you when you broke the beam in order to project how fast you were in your 10 yards split.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like everything is precise at the combine.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: Everything stop watches at the pro day.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: Some people believe stop watches are more accurate and some people believe lasers are.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: I tend to go with the tech.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_00]: The tech to me is more accurate because you're not counting on a human instinct to do this.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's as soon as he broke the bricks to line, it's over.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: So that is more precise to me.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_00]: Now let's see.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_00]: Malachi Lawrence, big jump in this draft.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: Now, another guy, outside linebacker for the bills.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I hit the wrong thing.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's Cassius Howell, who I believe I did talk about last week.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm pretty sure I did, the name is very familiar.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: Cassius Howell is a...
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: another big boy, six foot, two and a half, two, fifty, three.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: Cash is how it went out there and, you know, handled business.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_00]: He is the 10th highest average athlete.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_00]: He ran a four, five, nine, for a little red rush, that's perfectly fine, right?
- 44:41[SPEAKER_00]: He don't have to run a four, five, two, four, five, one.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's impressive when you do, but it's not a requirement.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_00]: By any stretch of the imagination, it's just not.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_00]: By four, six is perfectly fine.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_00]: He ran a sub four, six.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_00]: So you go and you look, check out Cashis, how old dude had the 4.5 9.40, 10 yards split, vertical jump 3.5 and a project of 9 feet, 7 inches.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_00]: All that's fine.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_00]: No one's looking for him to jump except for to bat passes in the NFL.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: How's out of that?
- 45:26[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, the, um, the athleticism in this guy is up there for sure.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_00]: His NFL comparison is Wilmic Donald and, uh, yeah, we all know about that guy.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_00]: That guy's a beast.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_00]: He had 11.5 sex that Texas A&M, one force fumble 31 tackles and 20 of them were solo.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_00]: edge rusher.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_00]: They have them as 20's overall rank.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: So you might not be there for the bills.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_00]: They got a mid first wrong where them.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: But if he falls, you know, it'd be smarter to have Joey both on the team just in case.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: But if not, there are plenty of prospects out there for the Buffalo bills to acquire through the draft.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_00]: I guys.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: I love you guys, but I got to cut this one a little short.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_00]: I've gotten through all my prospects and I'll probably talk to you guys after the NFL league year starts.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_00]: I hope you guys are all have a good Sunday evening, God bless you.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_00]: Do good, be good, God bless and go bills.
