SickKids Staff Face Child Exploitation Charges | Toronto News
A SickKids housekeeping employee, 55, has been charged with accessing child sexual abuse material and luring a minor after allegedly sending explicit messages to a 15-year-old via social media. The hospital placed him on leave and he resigned; SickKids called the conduct “unacceptable” and reaffirmed patient safety as top priority. This follows another recent arrest of a physician at the same hospital for similar charges — the two employees were unrelated.
