- 0:09Speaker 1: VI for sure.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's no love Loo, welcome to the noy but nice
- 0:18Speaker 2: sham your house from shooter and it's Thursday, which means
- 0:20Speaker 2: our dear friend Mark Loofer ge angels, hey LEUVI are
- 0:24Speaker 2: you there? Last week we had a little bit of
- 0:29Speaker 2: issues with the sound, so thank you for all your
- 0:31Speaker 2: d ms and your notes. You're never criticizing. I like feedback.
- 0:35Speaker 2: I'm a big boy and I've got tough skin, and
- 0:37Speaker 2: it was really valuable. The sound was a little officer.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Hopefully we're going to figure that out today. Mark's going
- 0:43Speaker 2: to sit a little closer to his microphone. Although I
- 0:45Speaker 2: do like being just a little bit louder than everybody.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I was once in London at this concert. I think
- 0:52Speaker 2: it was a Wicked concert, and the British girl who
- 0:55Speaker 2: was in Wicked is phenomenal. She's no longer in it,
- 0:58Speaker 2: but she was phenomenal. A DNA Menzelle was at the
- 1:01Speaker 2: show too, and a Diana suggested that when she seeks,
- 1:06Speaker 2: that might be a little bit loud.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I don't mind if you do that.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Rather, it's argud no. I used to do that when
- 1:14Speaker 2: I was on the Gossip Table, the Morning show on
- 1:16Speaker 2: VH one. I'd walk in and when they put the
- 1:17Speaker 2: mic on me, I made friends with the sound guy
- 1:19Speaker 2: immediately right after the makeup. That's the most important person
- 1:22Speaker 2: hair and makeup. Then it's the sound people. And I
- 1:25Speaker 2: said to this very cute sound guy, make me a
- 1:28Speaker 2: little louder, but everybody else and he did, Okay, we're
- 1:31Speaker 2: going to try to have an even level of sound today.
- 1:34Speaker 2: What time is it, my friend said, el is tea time?
- 1:37Speaker 2: Really sad. Big story at the top of the show.
- 1:38Speaker 2: So we now know Britney Spears's shocking emergency contact. It
- 1:43Speaker 2: is not a family member, it's not even a lifetime friend.
- 1:45Speaker 2: It's her ex bodyguard. How do we know this? When
- 1:48Speaker 2: she was recently arrested the DUI, who did she call?
- 1:52Speaker 2: Not a family, not a friend, but her ex bodyguard,
- 1:55Speaker 2: Thomas bunder Bumbaree. That's his name, Bumbaree. The Daily have
- 2:00Speaker 2: investigated this and found him. So Brittany quietly called Thomas
- 2:05Speaker 2: from the side of the road while police were questioning her,
- 2:08Speaker 2: and it just reveals how close the two have become.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Despite explosive allegations around him. There's some shadiness here. So
- 2:17Speaker 2: inside his claim that the former bodyguard he's no longer
- 2:19Speaker 2: the bodyguard has really become involved. In fact, he has
- 2:23Speaker 2: become one of Britney Spears's most trusted confidence, even after
- 2:29Speaker 2: accusations that he accessed her private accounts and concerns over
- 2:33Speaker 2: his troubled past. Will Sources say that Britney continues to
- 2:37Speaker 2: spend time with Thomas after the arrest, and the two
- 2:40Speaker 2: even spent time together before she went to rehab. Now
- 2:43Speaker 2: why this is important is that sources around the Britney
- 2:48Speaker 2: friend's family members are really concerned that once again, it's
- 2:52Speaker 2: not the first time, once again she might be placing
- 2:55Speaker 2: her trust in the wrong person. Oh, Britney, she makes
- 2:59Speaker 2: bad descis. I don't know if she's ever going to
- 3:02Speaker 2: change that. But when you make bad decisions and you
- 3:05Speaker 2: let bad people into your life, it's not going to end.
- 3:07Speaker 2: It's not going to be a happy ending. Mark, what
- 3:09Speaker 2: do you think?
- 3:09Speaker 1: Not a happy ending? And yes, it's so many bad
- 3:12Speaker 1: decisions that led up to this point. My question though,
- 3:15Speaker 1: is where are the friends and family Who are these people,
- 3:18Speaker 1: if there are any left that are supposed to be
- 3:21Speaker 1: there for her. Where are the free Brittany people who
- 3:23Speaker 1: are so you know, free her, free her where's that
- 3:26Speaker 1: energy now for we need to figure this out. She's
- 3:28Speaker 1: not well and she cannot be on her own. Clearly
- 3:30Speaker 1: there's something deeply wrong there.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Absolutely, we report on Brittany. I call my sources,
- 3:36Speaker 2: and it's getting more and more difficult to do any
- 3:38Speaker 2: reports on Brittany because the people that used to be
- 3:40Speaker 2: at least in her life marginally are not in it.
- 3:43Speaker 2: The friends, the family members, the institution of celebrity, the publicists,
- 3:48Speaker 2: the agents, the managers have all sort of disappeared, and
- 3:51Speaker 2: Britney's life has become very insular. I would imagine from
- 3:56Speaker 2: people I've spoken to, being friends with Britney Spears is
- 3:59Speaker 2: very difficul It's very challenging. If you think about friends
- 4:01Speaker 2: in your own life, sometimes it's difficult. We've all got
- 4:04Speaker 2: that wacky friend, We've all got that needy friend. We've
- 4:07Speaker 2: all got that friend who might even struggle with mental
- 4:10Speaker 2: health issues. Britney certainly does. It's really hard to be
- 4:14Speaker 2: friends with Britney Spears. I know, on the surface, she's
- 4:18Speaker 2: rich and she's famous, and she's Brittany. Like, if you said,
- 4:20Speaker 2: do you want to be friends with Britney Spears? Do
- 4:22Speaker 2: you want to be friends with Madonna? Do you want
- 4:24Speaker 2: to be friends with j Lo? The first answer I
- 4:26Speaker 2: think is going to be yes. As somebody who's met
- 4:29Speaker 2: all three, I could tell you the answer might be no,
- 4:32Speaker 2: because once the celebrity, once the star dust disappears, you're
- 4:37Speaker 2: left with a really difficult person who's a narcissist and
- 4:40Speaker 2: very wealthy and very powerful, and suddenly, I don't know.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I'm always quite suspicious about people who have tons and
- 4:48Speaker 2: tons of celebrity friends, because my experience with celebrities are
- 4:52Speaker 2: they are delicious, they are so much fun to be around,
- 4:55Speaker 2: but they're not necessarily good friends because the only thing,
- 4:59Speaker 2: or the main thing that think about is themselves, and
- 5:02Speaker 2: that's why they are so successful. It's sort of like
- 5:04Speaker 2: a double edged sword. You've got to be a narcissist
- 5:07Speaker 2: to be a successful celebrity. It's got to be about
- 5:10Speaker 2: you all the time. You've gotta want to always put
- 5:13Speaker 2: on a show. That's why you're so entertaining. However, that
- 5:17Speaker 2: does not make for a good partner or a good friend.
- 5:19Speaker 2: You've been around celebrities, Mark, I know your friendships. Your
- 5:22Speaker 2: group is very tight. It's not stars, it's not celebrities.
- 5:26Speaker 1: No, I mean I do you know celebrities from Afar
- 5:29Speaker 1: and I It's the reason why I don't really stay
- 5:31Speaker 1: friends with people like that is because it is exhausting.
- 5:34Speaker 1: It's always all crazy. Are you're the best? You're really
- 5:36Speaker 1: amazing guy?
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but I don't know.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I can It's it's soresome.
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's funny for a couple of nights out. I used
- 5:45Speaker 2: to be quite close with Sonia Morgan, the Real Housewife
- 5:47Speaker 2: and every Thursday when Brother aired The Real Housewives of
- 5:50Speaker 2: New York, she had only gay men over to her apartment.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Once I took after in Valerie and she literally said,
- 5:56Speaker 2: no girls aloud, that you can't unless that if she leaves,
- 5:59Speaker 2: I leave, And she ended up staying. But she shouldn't
- 6:01Speaker 2: have stayed because Sonya was rude to her the whole night.
- 6:03Speaker 2: But we used to ad a Sonya so and we
- 6:04Speaker 2: used to watch Sonya watch herself on TV, and it
- 6:07Speaker 2: was all about Sonya and every time she said something, oh,
- 6:10Speaker 2: that's an iconic moment on that Sonya, Oh this is
- 6:14Speaker 2: bigger than throwing the leg or you're the star, You're
- 6:17Speaker 2: the new Teresa side And it was just exhausted and
- 6:20Speaker 2: it was funny for maybe a month and then the
- 6:23Speaker 2: second month, I just stopped going because it was exhausting
- 6:26Speaker 2: and be it was a little bit sad, it was
- 6:28Speaker 2: a little bit needy. And so being friends with Britney Spears,
- 6:31Speaker 2: good question mark where are they? But I do understand
- 6:34Speaker 2: why they're not there. It's not easy. It is not easy,
- 6:37Speaker 2: which brings us to our whole question of the day.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Britney Spears's emergency contact is her ex bodyguard? Not family,
- 6:44Speaker 2: not friends, No, an ex bodyguard who might be a
- 6:48Speaker 2: little bit shady. Is this sad? Is it sad? Go
- 6:52Speaker 2: vote on addwinter page. I think I know your answer
- 6:55Speaker 2: also too, you can check out our Facebook page and
- 6:57Speaker 2: audiosip and be sure to check back tomorrow Friday to
- 7:00Speaker 2: hear your results. Hey Loopy, what are you working on that?
- 7:03Speaker 1: Yes, so some more tough pop news. Netflix is under
- 7:07Speaker 1: fire now for an explosive Michael Jackson trial dot they're
- 7:11Speaker 1: about to release. So Netflix is basing fierce backlash ahead
- 7:15Speaker 1: of the release of Michael Jackson The Verdict to new
- 7:18Speaker 1: doc revisiting the singer's two thousand and five child molestation trial. Now,
- 7:22Speaker 1: fans are accusing the streamer of exploiting Jackson's legacy nearly
- 7:26Speaker 1: two decades after his death, especially after the massive success
- 7:30Speaker 1: of the recent Michael biopic, and social media has erupted
- 7:34Speaker 1: with outrage, with supporters insisting Jackson was equated on all
- 7:37Speaker 1: accounts and calling a documentary a money grab a roub.
- 7:41Speaker 1: The doc promises to have interviews with jurors, accusers, and
- 7:45Speaker 1: court room insiders, and it's reigniting one of the biggest,
- 7:48Speaker 1: most avisive pop culture scandals of our time.
- 7:51Speaker 2: What do you think, Yeah, yeah, I mean to say
- 7:53Speaker 2: some money grab is silly, because that's what these companies do.
- 7:56Speaker 2: They're not there to entertain money, all these entertainment companies,
- 8:00Speaker 2: I'm not there to put on a great show. They're
- 8:02Speaker 2: a profit, profit driven. Is this yes? And so if
- 8:06Speaker 2: I was the head of Netflix or any other any
- 8:08Speaker 2: other network, this is a good week to talk about Michael.
- 8:12Speaker 2: If I was at NBC, we'd do a Michael special
- 8:14Speaker 2: this week for two hours on Dateline, Like this is
- 8:16Speaker 2: what they do. The morning shows should cover Michael this week.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Whenever a celebrity is in the news, we piggyback on them.
- 8:23Speaker 2: When a royal gets married, when Harry and Meghan get married,
- 8:25Speaker 2: They're on the cover of every magazine not because those
- 8:28Speaker 2: magazines wanted to bring you the news. No, they wanted
- 8:31Speaker 2: to sell magazines. It is a moneymaking business, so I'm
- 8:35Speaker 2: not at all surprised by this. This movie has made
- 8:37Speaker 2: eight hundred million dollars more than The Devil Wears Prada.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Expect to see a lot of Michael coverage. And this
- 8:44Speaker 2: is what the problem is with celebrity. When you put
- 8:46Speaker 2: yourself in the public eye, when you reach out, they'll
- 8:49Speaker 2: always be a backlash. I remember what. There was a
- 8:52Speaker 2: time when I was working with Jessica Simpson and she
- 8:54Speaker 2: was sick or she said she was sick of being
- 8:56Speaker 2: on the cover of US Weekly, in the magazines every
- 8:59Speaker 2: single week. She loves it, but she claimed that she
- 9:01Speaker 2: didn't like it. And I said, the only way that
- 9:05Speaker 2: they're going to stop putting you on the cover is
- 9:07Speaker 2: when it doesn't sell. But that also means your career
- 9:11Speaker 2: is not where you want it to be. So you
- 9:14Speaker 2: should every week you go on a Wednesday or Friday
- 9:16Speaker 2: to the newsstand and see yourself on the cover, you
- 9:19Speaker 2: should drop to the floor and kiss it and thank
- 9:21Speaker 2: the Lord because it means you're relevant. Now Jessica cannot
- 9:25Speaker 2: be on the cover, so those magazines because she doesn't
- 9:27Speaker 2: sell and I think she misses it. Be careful these
- 9:30Speaker 2: celebrities who are like, oh my goodness, leave me alone. Leave,
- 9:34Speaker 2: I'll leave you alone and see how you feel dead.
- 9:36Speaker 2: History is littered with celebrities who have been asking Bethany Frankle,
- 9:41Speaker 2: leave me alone, leave my daughter alone. It's private. Now
- 9:45Speaker 2: we're ignored. Go And she's like in a bikini on
- 9:47Speaker 2: the beach taking pictures of herself, like she desperately misses
- 9:50Speaker 2: the attention. So the difficult part of this is it's
- 9:53Speaker 2: attention that the estate doesn't want us to talk about it.
- 9:56Speaker 2: And they never mentioned any of this in the movie.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I saw the movie. I loved it. I'm not exactly
- 10:01Speaker 2: sure it's truthful, but I did thoroughly enjoy it. It's
- 10:04Speaker 2: very tricky with Michael because he changed the face of music,
- 10:08Speaker 2: and we love his songs. And if you and me
- 10:10Speaker 2: and we're going out tonight together, if a Michael Jackson
- 10:14Speaker 2: song comes on me and our little feet bit it's
- 10:16Speaker 2: not tappul under the tape. I love it, but I
- 10:18Speaker 2: don't know if I'm allowed to like it anymore. Where
- 10:21Speaker 2: are you on? Jackson?
- 10:22Speaker 1: It's complicated, it is I remember my brother getting married
- 10:25Speaker 1: in twenty nineteen ish and Jonathan, we're talking to the
- 10:29Speaker 1: DJ about Michael Jackson and we're like, it was during
- 10:31Speaker 1: that me two time, and are we okay playing Michael Jackson?
- 10:35Speaker 1: We want to, but is that okay? Problem?
- 10:39Speaker 2: Did he play it? In the end?
- 10:40Speaker 1: No, said, which was sad. You know, looking back, whatever.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Makes everyone dance, everyone gets on the dance. It's a
- 10:47Speaker 2: very very complicated thing. But you can't blame Netflix here.
- 10:51Speaker 2: This is actually smart programming. We shouldn't be shocked, we
- 10:54Speaker 2: shouldn't be surprised, we should expect it. Okay, moving along,
- 10:57Speaker 2: I love this story. Gail King is a final admitting
- 11:01Speaker 2: that she clashed with Oprah. The biggest fight they ever
- 11:03Speaker 2: had was over the gay rumors. So Gail admits that
- 11:06Speaker 2: she once begged her best friend Oprah to publicly shut
- 11:09Speaker 2: down the rumors that they were secret lovers. But get this,
- 11:11Speaker 2: Oprah refused. So Gail's on her Call Your Daddy podcast,
- 11:15Speaker 2: and she said, at first, the speculation deeply upset her
- 11:18Speaker 2: because get this, it hurt her dating life. She was
- 11:21Speaker 2: looking for a man, and if everybody thought she was gay,
- 11:24Speaker 2: they weren't going to data and sheesus. She said, Oprah,
- 11:28Speaker 2: it's okay for you because She've got Steedman, so you
- 11:31Speaker 2: don't have to worry about this. But me by myself now,
- 11:34Speaker 2: she said her as time when on. As time passed,
- 11:37Speaker 2: she doesn't care about it anymore. She insists, if Oprah
- 11:40Speaker 2: and I were gay, we would tell you. But it
- 11:43Speaker 2: is interesting, isn't it. Oprah refused. She said, no, I'm
- 11:47Speaker 2: ignoring these rumors. There's nothing wrong with being gay. How
- 11:51Speaker 2: do I say I'm not gay without implying I don't
- 11:54Speaker 2: want to be gay? It's very, very difficult. I think
- 11:57Speaker 2: this is just amazing. If I'd been if you had
- 12:00Speaker 2: come to me and said, can we put out rumors
- 12:02Speaker 2: that we're not gay, we're not a couple, I'd say, yes,
- 12:05Speaker 2: we can. But Oprah was like, no, not playing this game.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I sort of Admira, what do you think?
- 12:11Speaker 1: I do? Have a funny story about this. I intended
- 12:15Speaker 1: a Oprah book event a few months ago in New York,
- 12:19Speaker 1: and it was moderated by a gale, of course, And
- 12:21Speaker 1: in the middle of the of the panel, Oprah's phone rings,
- 12:25Speaker 1: and Oprah looks at her phone, and she sounds and
- 12:27Speaker 1: puts it down and Gal.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Goes who does that?
- 12:29Speaker 1: Who called you? She goes stead Bit but like, none
- 12:33Speaker 1: of us believe that Stedman's calling her in the middle
- 12:35Speaker 1: of that panel. It was like a planted thing for
- 12:38Speaker 1: us to think he's still around. But where is Steedman?
- 12:40Speaker 1: He's been missing and the public guy for quite some time.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Now, Oh, I love it. I did something really naughty
- 12:46Speaker 2: a couple of weeks ago. I was having drinks with
- 12:47Speaker 2: a reporter from Vanity Fair who did that hatchet job
- 12:50Speaker 2: on the may I so, have you read that story
- 12:52Speaker 2: about it? So be bark and they read a picture
- 12:54Speaker 2: of me with the black eye. But I was with
- 12:57Speaker 2: the reporter from Vady Fair. He was into me. I
- 13:00Speaker 2: knew he was coming, and so ten minutes before he arrived,
- 13:02Speaker 2: Nancy Grace called me. I said, Nancy, I can't talk now,
- 13:06Speaker 2: call back in thirty minutes because I can show off
- 13:09Speaker 2: that Nancy Grace is calling me to this reporter. She did,
- 13:12Speaker 2: and I just my phone rang in the middle of
- 13:14Speaker 2: the interview and he was like, do you need to
- 13:15Speaker 2: get that. It's like, no, it's just Nancy. It's Nancy Grace.
- 13:19Speaker 2: And in the end we got it and she was
- 13:21Speaker 2: really funny. Now I think it's I think there's a
- 13:23Speaker 2: lot of show busies. I think there's a lot of
- 13:25Speaker 2: set up here. I think to Gail was a little
- 13:27Speaker 2: bit homophobic about this. She didn't want people to think
- 13:30Speaker 2: she was gay because she didn't think it was a
- 13:31Speaker 2: very flattering thing. And we've evolved now. Being gay's great.
- 13:36Speaker 2: I love it. Mark. When I was a little boy,
- 13:38Speaker 2: I used to dream at night. I used to make
- 13:39Speaker 2: a wish, Please make me straight, Jesus please. I don't
- 13:42Speaker 2: want to be gay. I don't want to be gay.
- 13:43Speaker 2: My arm's bad enough. I've got a broken arm. I
- 13:45Speaker 2: don't want. I don't want more more stuff that makes
- 13:48Speaker 2: me difference. Now, I wouldn't change it for the world.
- 13:51Speaker 2: It has changed my life in all the most wondrous ways.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Where were you on this?
- 13:55Speaker 1: It's funny the street men in our lives, the ones
- 13:58Speaker 1: that are our age, They tired and they are beaten down,
- 14:02Speaker 1: and they looked just out of shape and gross on like.
- 14:07Speaker 2: You're the brother. You know.
- 14:09Speaker 1: We just we looked out Rob, We really did.
- 14:11Speaker 2: We looked at We looked at Gail. Too bad you
- 14:13Speaker 2: didn't look at But I do enjoy the story. Okay,
- 14:17Speaker 2: moving along, Chelsea Handler has dumped a cowboy boyfriend, Chelsea?
- 14:22Speaker 2: What is That's right?
- 14:24Speaker 1: She's back in the market. The comedian revealed she has
- 14:26Speaker 1: split from her construction executive Joe Agura, the mystery cowboy
- 14:30Speaker 1: she famously met at Las Vegas black jack table. The
- 14:33Speaker 1: story is so crazy, so Handler called the romance a
- 14:36Speaker 1: really funny adventure, admitting that the pair enjoyed a hot
- 14:40Speaker 1: five to six month wing before finally calling when and
- 14:44Speaker 1: I think you remember they met at a casino when
- 14:47Speaker 1: she borrowed one thousand dollars from him, and then she
- 14:50Speaker 1: invited him on the spontaneous trip to Antartica.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Crazy, he went, We went, first of all, if I've
- 14:57Speaker 2: been a black jack table or you asked for if
- 14:58Speaker 2: I'm anywhere you asked her for that dollars on run,
- 15:00Speaker 2: I'll say, being held up, that I'd be mugged. I
- 15:03Speaker 2: would run for my life. But I want Chelsea to
- 15:06Speaker 2: find happiness. She does make me giggirl. I like how
- 15:09Speaker 2: honest she is about her relationships. She was a lot
- 15:12Speaker 2: younger than her two and she said it was a
- 15:14Speaker 2: really romantic, winking good time they had together. I bet
- 15:19Speaker 2: they did. She's had some wild boyfriends. Fifty cent what
- 15:22Speaker 2: she dated her fifty cent do I love it? I
- 15:26Speaker 2: love it. I can't wait to see who she dates next. Dakay,
- 15:28Speaker 2: we're going to take her quing Rain and we will
- 15:31Speaker 2: re right back. Welcome back to the Naughty b Nice

- 15:38Speaker 2: p Let's get to the polls. Yesterday we talked about
- 15:43Speaker 2: how prosecutors claimed that Matthew Perry's assistant tried to cover
- 15:46Speaker 2: up tedamine evidence. So after after Matthew died he got
- 15:51Speaker 2: rid allegedly of syringes of information of documentation. Should he
- 15:56Speaker 2: go to jail? Ninety percent said yes, well you will
- 15:59Speaker 2: be relieved he's going to jail. The verdict is Dan,
- 16:02Speaker 2: he is going to jail. Okay, don't forget to vote
