- 0:04Speaker 1: Hey everybody, welcome back in. It's Drama Darling. I'm your
- 0:23Speaker 1: bish wife over here, just ready to talk about Roni
- 0:26Speaker 1: because it's invigorated, it's recalibrated. It's fabulous. Joining me today
- 0:32Speaker 1: is Deanna Chang. Deanna.
- 0:34Speaker 2: How does it feel good to be here, Amy? It
- 0:39Speaker 2: really does. Feels good to be with you. Feels great
- 0:42Speaker 2: to be with the darlings and, you know, ready to
- 0:45Speaker 2: cut it up.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Me too. I'm so excited to talk about Roni. And
- 0:50Speaker 1: before we head into that, just a couple of pieces
- 0:53Speaker 1: of dish. Let's go. Serving dish. Oh, this first one
- 0:58Speaker 1: happens to be about moi. So basically, just a reminder,
- 1:02Speaker 1: get your tickets if you'd like to go to The
- 1:04Speaker 1: Coney in Detroit, Michigan. This will be at the Detroit
- 1:08Speaker 1: Opera House this Saturday, September 26th. And it's a charity
- 1:12Speaker 1: event to raise money for the Children's Fund of Michigan.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I'm so excited to be a part of this. There's
- 1:18Speaker 1: a lot of wonderful Michigan celebs, and I'm just going
- 1:25Speaker 1: because they asked. I'm not necessarily in the drop-down category
- 1:29Speaker 1: as some of my clients. peers that will be there.
- 1:34Speaker 1: But my dear friend Sam Richardson will be there. J.K. Simmons,
- 1:39Speaker 1: Mark Evan Jackson, who is an absolute star to begin with,
- 1:42Speaker 1: but he's the one who put this all together. He's
- 1:44Speaker 1: been wanting to do this for years. I mean, when
- 1:47Speaker 1: he first told me, we had a Zoom call and
- 1:49Speaker 1: he was like, this is what I'm thinking about doing.
- 1:52Speaker 1: We're going to do this. We're going to do that.
- 1:53Speaker 1: We're going to do this. And he's got like this perfect,
- 1:56Speaker 1: you know, voice and just is so and he's so funny.
- 1:59Speaker 1: So I was like, wow, this sounds amazing. And then
- 2:02Speaker 1: cut to months later and it's just like he did it.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I mean, there is so much. It's incredible what he's done.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Fred Brown, who's a dear friend of mine, he and
- 2:15Speaker 1: his wife, Ani. Fred is a brilliant musician, played with
- 2:21Speaker 1: Bruno Mars for many, many years, toured with him, co-wrote
- 2:26Speaker 1: a few songs. He's like one of those musical geniuses
- 2:30Speaker 1: that can like play any instrument. You know, he went
- 2:33Speaker 1: to Cranbrook in Michigan. Anyway, so he's going to be
- 2:37Speaker 1: the musical director for this band that they're going to
- 2:40Speaker 1: have on stage. Tony Hawk, like there's going to be
- 2:43Speaker 1: random people. Amber Rufin will be there. There's just a
- 2:47Speaker 1: ton of amazing people that will be there. And it's
- 2:51Speaker 1: going to raise a lot of money. And I'm so excited.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I also get to go to- The Tigers game, and
- 2:56Speaker 1: I get to go to the Lions game, and Hobnob.
- 3:01Speaker 2: The Oh My.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Yeah, Lions and Tigers and Bears. Oh, no, and the
- 3:06Speaker 1: Jim and Chew. I get to Hobnob at some afterglows
- 3:11Speaker 1: around town, and I get to stay at the Shinola Hotel,
- 3:15Speaker 1: which is like tantamount to downtown Detroit and an incredible,
- 3:21Speaker 1: luxurious hotel. Very delighted. Oh, I see.
- 3:25Speaker 2: That'll get you anywhere. You know, to know that a
- 3:28Speaker 2: luxury hotel awaits.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Oh, in my hometown?
- 3:34Speaker 2: Come on now.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Now, my brother, my brother Kirk, who works at Rosettian Associates,
- 3:41Speaker 1: he's an architect, right? So they actually, and my brother specifically,
- 3:45Speaker 1: had a lot to do with creating the suites and
- 3:49Speaker 1: that whole level at Ford Field where the Lions play. Oh, cool.
- 3:57Speaker 1: And I've never been there since they've done all of this.
- 4:00Speaker 1: And I get to be in a suite watching the
- 4:02Speaker 1: game on Sunday. So I get to see my brother's work.
- 4:05Speaker 1: So I'm so excited about that.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Oh my God. This is everything.
- 4:10Speaker 1: What a weekend. I know. My BFF from five years old, Kelly,
- 4:14Speaker 1: She's coming in from Chicago.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Jewelry designer to the stars.
- 4:18Speaker 1: To the stars. And she is going to join me
- 4:21Speaker 1: at the Lions game. She is the biggest Lions fan.
- 4:24Speaker 1: She loves football. So... She's thrilled to death. I mean,
- 4:29Speaker 1: it's just it's all happening, as Sheena would say. So anyway,
- 4:33Speaker 1: the link is somewhere, I think, in my bio. But
- 4:39Speaker 1: it's called the Coney. It's called the Coney after Detroit's
- 4:43Speaker 1: own hot dog that they've made famous, the Coney dog
- 4:46Speaker 1: and the franchise, the Coney Island. So that's big news.
- 4:51Speaker 1: All right. That does affect my schedule a little bit.
- 4:55Speaker 1: So Friday I will be traveling, so I won't be
- 4:57Speaker 1: able to get to Orange County quite yet this week.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It'll keep. It'll keep.
- 5:04Speaker 2: It really will. Nothing pressing. Please trust.
- 5:10Speaker 1: A lot of preservatives are that. We already know that.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. It'll stay. I would love to stay fresh.
- 5:17Speaker 1: What's the shelf like, Deanna?
- 5:19Speaker 2: But it's a, yeah, it's, it's not a perishable. It's
- 5:23Speaker 2: more shelf stable.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Get it, get it, get it, get it. Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 1: You really read that for filth just then. And I'm
- 5:31Speaker 1: happy about it. So I'll get to, I guess, Orange
- 5:34Speaker 1: County when I get to it. You know what I mean?
- 5:37Speaker 1: The shelf life is fine. The expiration is like at 2031.
- 5:42Speaker 1: So yeah, I'll get to it. But I will be
- 5:46Speaker 1: able to squeeze in Salt Lake City. And I'm definitely
- 5:50Speaker 1: going to be trying to get my Below Deck Meta
- 5:52Speaker 1: next gen in because I want to wrap up next
- 5:55Speaker 1: gen reunion number two.
- 5:57Speaker 2: It's so good. Isn't it great? It really is a
- 6:03Speaker 2: breath of fresh. You know, it just– they did a
- 6:07Speaker 2: great– and I got to tip my hat to the
- 6:09Speaker 2: producers on the show as well as the cast.
- 6:12Speaker 1: And the editors. I'm blown away. They're doing stuff over
- 6:14Speaker 1: there that, you know, people as old as I– I mean,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm picking up what you're laying down and I'm proud
- 6:20Speaker 1: that I'm noticing it, you know?
- 6:22Speaker 2: Yes.
- 6:23Speaker 1: And I think that we need to acknowledge that. And
- 6:25Speaker 1: I appreciate them, you know, skewing their viewing towards a
- 6:30Speaker 1: younger audience because that's what it feels like. And I'm
- 6:34Speaker 1: happy to be among that audience, you know?
- 6:36Speaker 2: Exactly. And it's the connective tissue we need, you know,
- 6:40Speaker 2: with all the people we've known to keep us, we're
- 6:44Speaker 2: right there. I mean, I remember the First episode of
- 6:49Speaker 2: season one, I thought I was going to have to
- 6:52Speaker 2: tap out because the cuts, and they may have actually
- 6:55Speaker 2: slowed down the cuts a little bit since then.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I'd actually be curious to go back and look. But
- 7:01Speaker 2: it was a little too frenetic for me. And now,
- 7:05Speaker 2: I mean, either I've acclimated or they've chilled out, but
- 7:09Speaker 2: I just think it's so good. And the cast is excellent.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Truly. I mean, Vanderpump rules wishes, you know? I mean, like,
- 7:18Speaker 1: this is the young show that I'm going to be
- 7:20Speaker 1: tuning into. And it's just they have carved out a
- 7:24Speaker 1: new area that we never knew could exist, you know? Yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 1: The heirs of the reality TV people on Bravo and
- 7:33Speaker 1: then some other passerbyers that just joined up. So this
- 7:37Speaker 1: is just, it's thrilling. So now, speaking of the young ones,
- 7:42Speaker 1: I just have one... Interesting piece of news because it's
- 7:45Speaker 1: just everywhere right now. There's not a ton of news
- 7:47Speaker 1: out there, but apparently West Wilson is joining a show
- 7:50Speaker 1: called Million Dollar Secret. It says the show, which comes
- 7:56Speaker 1: from Brent Montgomery's wheelhouse, brings together a group of strangers,
- 8:00Speaker 1: in this case, celebrity contestants who must outwit their competition
- 8:06Speaker 1: and identify the recipient of a million dollars hiding among them,
- 8:09Speaker 1: sequestered in a lavish mansion. In each of their rooms...
- 8:14Speaker 1: is a mysterious welcome gift, a box. The majority of
- 8:17Speaker 1: them are empty, and one contains $ 1 million, and it's
- 8:22Speaker 1: for that guest to keep as long as they keep
- 8:24Speaker 1: their identity hidden. Oh, this is interesting. That's cute. So
- 8:28Speaker 1: the people who are a part of this, let me
- 8:30Speaker 1: just reel through what we have here. Olympian Adam Rippon,
- 8:36Speaker 1: Adam Shearer, A WWE wrestler better known as Braun Strowman.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Influencer and podcaster Brianna LaPaglia, better known as Brianna Chicken Fry.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Chicken Fry.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Somebody Somewhere star Bridget Everett. Oh, that's so fun.
- 8:55Speaker 2: That's really fun.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Love Island USA star Shelly Byzanthe. I don't know how
- 9:02Speaker 1: to pronounce her last name.
- 9:04Speaker 2: That's Ace's. Ace and Shelly were together.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Wow, I never knew her last name. Okay, yeah. Chloe Veach. Sorry,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I don't know these last names of these people. Host
- 9:16Speaker 1: of the Netflix Sneaky Links. Former SNL star Chris Reed. Sorry,
- 9:21Speaker 1: Chris Red. I'm really botching all these names. Hey, don't
- 9:26Speaker 1: put me on the nightly news.
- 9:27Speaker 2: You're doing better than I would do.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Okay, Selling Sunsets. Christine Quinn. Scream star David Arquette. And
- 9:36Speaker 1: Perfect Match star... Dom Gabriel. Oh, The Office's Melora Hardin. Oh, wow. Melora.
- 9:44Speaker 1: That's a big one. And Everything's Trash's Phoebe Robinson. Oh,
- 9:48Speaker 1: my gosh. That's fun.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Phoebe is great. She's like, she's going to, I mean,
- 9:55Speaker 2: she's so funny and smart and quick.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Like everyone, I don't know what this is, but that's
- 10:04Speaker 2: who you keep, that's who you.
- 10:05Speaker 1: That's who you want to keep your eye on.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Like, yeah. Like, cause she's going to be working, you know.
- 10:11Speaker 1: She's going to be working. Good. Working. Yeah. Well, that's exciting.
- 10:17Speaker 1: You know, that's just all the news today. We saw
- 10:19Speaker 1: Harvey Weinstein got 15 years. Great. Hope it adds up to... Bye-bye. Yes. Bye.
- 10:25Speaker 1: You're disgusting. You're disgusting. What happened? Don't worry, Lisa. You'll
- 10:31Speaker 1: find out.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 1: It's f * * * ing disgusting. Yeah. I'm so
- 10:35Speaker 1: glad to say goodbye. I wish there was more time.
- 10:40Speaker 1: We're hoping that this is added upon other time. But hopefully,
- 10:45Speaker 1: you know, He won't even see 15. What? Did I
- 10:47Speaker 1: say that?
- 10:49Speaker 2: He needs to sit there and rot.
- 10:52Speaker 1: All right. Well.
- 10:53Speaker 2: That's not the time and place.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry. You know what? I have rage within me.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I have a lot of rage for females, okay? And
- 11:00Speaker 1: it's going to come out one way or the other,
- 11:02Speaker 1: and it just did. So on that note. Yesterday I
- 11:07Speaker 1: had a colonoscopy. We are. You're kidding. I had that.
- 11:10Speaker 1: That was funny. Who is that? I forgot. Who? I
- 11:13Speaker 1: don't remember.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Oh my God. I just scheduled mine yesterday, by the way.
- 11:16Speaker 2: First one.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Oh, I had my first one earlier this year. So. Okay.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Okay. Not okay. So we're on the same schedule ish.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Yeah. It's going to be great. It's going to be great.
- 11:26Speaker 2: It did.
- 11:29Speaker 1: I had a couple polyps. I think I had two polyps.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Oh shit. So they got rid of them.
- 11:34Speaker 2: See, I, last year I shat in the bucket and
- 11:37Speaker 2: I sent it off.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Only Deanna Chang could make that sound just pleasant and lovely.
- 11:44Speaker 1: You know, just like last year, I shot in a bucket,
- 11:47Speaker 1: as a matter of fact.
- 11:48Speaker 2: And listen, you know, great news. No active cancer, super.
- 11:56Speaker 2: But I thought, you know, let's go get in there
- 12:00Speaker 2: and see if there's any polyps. And I want to
- 12:03Speaker 2: get them out. I want them out. Yes. Good.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Good. Well, I had a fine experience, so we can
- 12:10Speaker 1: discuss it offline at any point that you'd like. And
- 12:13Speaker 1: if not, that's fine too.
- 12:15Speaker 2: That's great.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Well, listen, guys, if you haven't gotten your colonoscopy and
- 12:19Speaker 1: it's time, go for it, you know?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:21Speaker 1: You might have some polyps waiting for you and you
- 12:23Speaker 1: want to say goodbye to those.
- 12:25Speaker 2: And that's why it's the gold standard because, you know,
- 12:28Speaker 2: those are the things that turn always– cancer, I asked
- 12:31Speaker 2: the doctor, it always in the colon always starts as
- 12:35Speaker 2: a polyp. Most of the time it doesn't turn into cancer,
- 12:38Speaker 2: but it will always start. So get those guys out
- 12:41Speaker 2: of there.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Yes. Get rid of them. All right. Well, why don't
- 12:48Speaker 1: we welcome ourselves into a fabulous episode of Roni? Hey,
- 12:53Speaker 1: welcome in. Hi. You know, who would have thought we'd
- 12:56Speaker 1: be saying fabulous in front of Roni? I mean, it's
- 12:58Speaker 1: been a long time, but... Yeah.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 1: They did such a bang up job on this cast.
- 13:03Speaker 1: And I'm just really loving everyone here. I love Haley.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I love Daisy.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Daisy's great.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Erica.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yeah, Erica, I don't know what I feel about her yet.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I'm neutral positive, you know?
- 13:23Speaker 1: Neutral positive. These are the things that you will get
- 13:27Speaker 1: if you listen or read the Substack How to Be
- 13:30Speaker 1: Less Old. And if you haven't done it, do it.
- 13:33Speaker 1: And I have your email bookmarked on the vacuum that
- 13:38Speaker 1: you just got that you have a whole thing about.
- 13:41Speaker 1: So trust and believe I will be digging into that. Yes.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Very soon. Probably on the airplane. Good, good, good. I
- 13:51Speaker 1: really want to enjoy.
- 13:52Speaker 2: And again, there are some specifics in terms of square footage.
- 13:58Speaker 2: You may need a different one, but I... The Bissell
- 14:03Speaker 2: Hydro something.
- 14:04Speaker 1: No, no, no. Keep it up.
- 14:05Speaker 2: No.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Keep it up.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Oh, it's in the stack.
- 14:07Speaker 1: It's in the stack.
- 14:08Speaker 2: It's a teaser.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Keep the people wanting more, you know? Okay. You got
- 14:11Speaker 1: to find out. Okay? Okay. Great. Great. Go to the stack.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Got to be less old. Right. Okay. So, and we
- 14:19Speaker 1: love Carol on the show. We love it all.
- 14:22Speaker 2: She's doing great.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Erin's doing great. I see you haven't.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:26Speaker 1: You see I haven't what?
- 14:28Speaker 2: Mentioned Jessel.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Oh, I was just about to. Jessel and Aaron's feud,
- 14:33Speaker 1: I mean, it's great. It's great for TV, you know,
- 14:36Speaker 1: say what you want about Jessel, say what you want
- 14:39Speaker 1: about Aaron. But, I mean, they're a perfect match for
- 14:42Speaker 1: an ongoing feud. And it's not hurting anybody, you know.
- 14:46Speaker 1: It's not that deep. It's not that dark. It's okay
- 14:49Speaker 1: right now. And I'm all right with that, you know.
- 14:54Speaker 2: I have notes, but, yes, I agree, you know. Sure.
- 14:59Speaker 1: They're for Jessel. Was Jessel looking at cue cards? A
- 15:02Speaker 1: hundred percent. Thank you. Okay.
- 15:06Speaker 2: That's where you just get over your skis.
- 15:10Speaker 1: You can't come in and have these pre-written lines ready
- 15:15Speaker 1: to drop. I mean, it's just ridiculous. What do we
- 15:19Speaker 1: look like?
- 15:19Speaker 2: You think we're new?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Right. I'm sorry. We were not born yesterday. We've been
- 15:24Speaker 1: here For a very long time. 20 years.
- 15:27Speaker 2: We put two decades into this shit.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Yeah. So please, please do better.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Do better.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Please. A lot better. Do better. And also, you're dragging
- 15:40Speaker 1: the name of Blossom to a generation of people who
- 15:44Speaker 1: watch this show, who watched Blossom and all had hats
- 15:48Speaker 1: and flowers. Just excuse me. Excuse me.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Excuse me.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Yeah. How dare you? If, you know, if it weren't
- 15:58Speaker 1: for Blossom, there'd be no Zendaya, okay? We're talking about
- 16:03Speaker 1: child stars.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know if that's 100% true, but like,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I just put some respect on Blossom's name, okay? Absolutely. Gosh, dang.
- 16:14Speaker 2: You know, and she's still in the game, so knock
- 16:17Speaker 2: it off.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 16:20Speaker 2: And she's very, you know, she's got a lot. What
- 16:25Speaker 2: Mayim has in her back pocket can just annihilate you, Ms. Jessel.
- 16:33Speaker 2: So knock it off.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I mean, she has like a doctorate in like physio-scientology.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I mean, she is so brilliant that she would laugh
- 16:47Speaker 1: at the idea that someone would actually even try to
- 16:49Speaker 1: drag her name. Also, speaking of, I saw... I mean, yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 1: I listened, saw the YouTube of Mayim's podcast where she
- 17:01Speaker 1: had Sharon Stone on. And Sharon Stone just wrote a
- 17:05Speaker 1: new book. And this was a journey. I mean, if
- 17:09Speaker 1: you want to go on a journey with Sharon Stone,
- 17:12Speaker 1: get your ass over the podcast. And Mayim is so good.
- 17:17Speaker 1: And she's so brilliant. And is that her? I don't
- 17:19Speaker 1: know if that's her husband that she's co-hosting with, but
- 17:21Speaker 1: whoever that is, is great too. But Sharon Stone has
- 17:25Speaker 1: lived several lives. And my God, I mean, the stories
- 17:29Speaker 1: this gal was telling, I was just, my mouth was
- 17:31Speaker 1: on the floor. And it's so well done. Take what
- 17:35Speaker 1: you want, but I loved it. I've always been a
- 17:38Speaker 1: fan of Sharon Stone. And she's been through a lot,
- 17:42Speaker 1: let's just say that. A lot. So this was interesting. Anyway,
- 17:47Speaker 1: side note. All right, so let's, why don't we... should
- 17:52Speaker 1: we start or end with Carol's Cone? You know what
- 17:54Speaker 1: I mean? Because that's the best part, right? I mean,
- 17:56Speaker 1: because this Jeep has its own character. Is it going
- 18:01Speaker 1: to have its own tagline, this Jeep?
- 18:04Speaker 2: It really is doing a lot of heavy lifting. I mean,
- 18:10Speaker 2: I literally said out loud, look at this Jeep. This Jeep.
- 18:15Speaker 2: You know, here comes this Jeep again.
- 18:19Speaker 1: You know, it's like, I haven't written any taglines for it,
- 18:23Speaker 1: but I imagine we could probably come up with some
- 18:26Speaker 1: right now. I may be parked in the same spot,
- 18:34Speaker 1: but I'll move when it's the time and place. I
- 18:38Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know. I'm working on it. I'm
- 18:40Speaker 1: working on it.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I may be red and boxy, but I am that bitch.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Okay. Most cars, we need some help. Yeah. Most cars
- 18:57Speaker 1: don't accessorize. But I know when to put a cone
- 19:01Speaker 1: on it. I don't know. I don't know. I just,
- 19:06Speaker 1: I think that this is a whole layer of Carol
- 19:08Speaker 1: that we never knew that informs us. Well, here's the
- 19:10Speaker 1: great thing.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Carol has come in a little older, wiser. More
- 19:18Speaker 2: world weary in some ways. And she don't give a fuck.
- 19:23Speaker 1: No.
- 19:25Speaker 2: And that is great for us.
- 19:27Speaker 1: It is. It is. Staple that ceiling.
- 19:31Speaker 2: You know, it's just right. And if she doesn't like
- 19:37Speaker 2: what's happening around the table, she goes, I need to
- 19:39Speaker 2: go take a nap. I am going to, you know.
- 19:43Speaker 1: In the right way. Now, if Vicky said that, we'd
- 19:45Speaker 1: have a problem. She's like, I got to go take
- 19:47Speaker 1: a nap. It's like, no, don't leave the party. But
- 19:49Speaker 1: Carol was insulted. You know, she can say that. Right.
- 19:53Speaker 2: And Carol was in it until she wasn't. But also,
- 19:57Speaker 2: here's what I'd like for us, really and truly, as
- 20:01Speaker 2: a viewership. We may need, and I did feel that
- 20:05Speaker 2: way this Ultimate Girls trip, like Vicky warmed on me.
- 20:10Speaker 2: you know, the first couple episodes are really hard and
- 20:12Speaker 2: now I'm laughing and the way Kyle is dealing with
- 20:15Speaker 2: her has me howling because Kyle can just give it to.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Her so good.
- 20:20Speaker 2: And like, Vicky's like, where no one else could do that,
- 20:23Speaker 2: you know? But I think if a gal's of a
- 20:29Speaker 2: certain age and she's tired, you know, we have to
- 20:35Speaker 2: build that in. We have to build it in.
- 20:38Speaker 1: In the right In the right way.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Yes. We can't, like, not everyone's on cocaine and, like, Lou. Like,
- 20:46Speaker 2: sometimes we just need.
- 20:48Speaker 1: To build it into the program. Allegedly. In our opinion,
- 20:51Speaker 1: you know.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Allegedly.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Or at all.
- 20:53Speaker 2: In most everybody's opinion. Something's got her up and at them,
- 20:57Speaker 2: you know.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Second cup of coffee, you know. It'll do you. Exactly.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Exactly. Fully leaded. So anyway, I'm just open in a
- 21:06Speaker 2: new way because our gals are getting older as I
- 21:09Speaker 2: guess we stay the same. And it does seem like
- 21:12Speaker 2: I'm open to building in nap and not getting mad
- 21:16Speaker 2: about it. That's what I'm learning.
- 21:18Speaker 1: You're open to building in nap. What? I think you
- 21:27Speaker 1: need a sub stack just on the way. The things
- 21:31Speaker 1: you say when we recap this. I can see where
- 21:36Speaker 1: you're coming from that. Because, yeah, there's certainly a bunch
- 21:40Speaker 1: of different ways to do it. And I think that
- 21:41Speaker 1: the editors and producers respect the way that Carol is
- 21:45Speaker 1: folding in. Folding, not stirring. Okay, is folding. Folding in
- 21:51Speaker 1: her naps into the show and the lifestyle. As opposed
- 21:55Speaker 1: to Vicky, who is whisking when you're supposed to be folding.
- 21:58Speaker 1: And Zuri is... The nap is more of a meringue
- 22:01Speaker 1: instead of a batter that needs to be hip-hop.
- 22:07Speaker 2: So, yeah, we agree.
- 22:09Speaker 1: We're on the same page. And, my God, just looking
- 22:13Speaker 1: crisp in her confessional with that white shirt. And saying,
- 22:19Speaker 1: what did she say about Jessel? I don't remember. It
- 22:21Speaker 1: was a good one. I probably have it in my notes.
- 22:23Speaker 1: But I think she dealt it. Where she needed to,
- 22:29Speaker 1: you know, in that confessional. And I appreciated that.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:33Speaker 1: So, all right. Some of the things that I am
- 22:37Speaker 1: excited to talk about. Let's first talk about how rich
- 22:41Speaker 1: Erica and Ankur are with their private island that celebrities
- 22:48Speaker 1: stay at and past presidents stay at in a place
- 22:51Speaker 1: called Mosquito, which, by the way, I would never want
- 22:53Speaker 1: to go because, I mean, are there mosquitoes? What? No,
- 22:56Speaker 1: but anyway, mosquitoes. Sorry, I hate myself. British Virgin Islands
- 23:04Speaker 1: is their private island and good for them, you know.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 23:12Speaker 1: This wealth is extreme for housewives. It is.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, and I think the juxtaposition of just kind
- 23:22Speaker 2: of a gal minus how she– was in Daisy's apartment.
- 23:28Speaker 2: But I think in general, she doesn't wear the wealth,
- 23:31Speaker 2: you know? So that is nice.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Yeah. I like that. I mean, her, when she was
- 23:37Speaker 1: making those pizzas, I just couldn't, I was like, how,
- 23:41Speaker 1: that blouse that's draping in such a way when I,
- 23:44Speaker 1: she does not have a bra on. I don't think
- 23:45Speaker 1: that she's got like nipple covers. It's just like, there
- 23:48Speaker 1: might be a little bit of tape, but she's just,
- 23:50Speaker 1: she's good to go. I mean, she is. If, if
- 23:54Speaker 1: I tried that, oh, For a second.
- 23:56Speaker 2: So silly. I don't even do that alone with my... Like,
- 24:00Speaker 2: I'm in a soft bra to bed. Like, there's no.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I know, I know. I'm like, give me my honey love.
- 24:08Speaker 1: By the way, plug, code drama. But like, give me
- 24:10Speaker 1: my honey love because that's about as nude as I'm
- 24:13Speaker 1: going to get when I'm in the kitchen, you know?
- 24:16Speaker 2: Yes, of course.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I mean, it's just.
- 24:19Speaker 2: I will say that in my time of these shows,
- 24:23Speaker 2: I've never... been turned off to having a private chef
- 24:27Speaker 2: but that looked horrible to have some dude lumbering over
- 24:32Speaker 2: you good point while you're cooking I was like no
- 24:36Speaker 2: I don't like this I don't want that I actually.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Don't want it did they want that like to me
- 24:42Speaker 1: it's like oh did they decide that they're gonna learn
- 24:45Speaker 1: how to cook together and this is kind of like
- 24:47Speaker 1: their date night and they do this together I think
- 24:50Speaker 1: that we would have needed, I mean, we should have
- 24:52Speaker 1: had a little bit of a liner there. Like, oh,
- 24:54Speaker 1: you know, Encore and I, we don't spend a ton
- 24:56Speaker 1: of time together and we really like to cook. So
- 24:59Speaker 1: the chef guides us, you know, every other Friday for pizza.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I don't know. No, I mean, he was just.
- 25:07Speaker 2: You're totally right.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:09Speaker 2: We needed a liner.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Yeah. And like now he's on the show. So that's
- 25:14Speaker 1: like a big deal. So he must be a pretty
- 25:17Speaker 1: big part of the fabric of their lives. gotten.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, cause this is the first time we're
- 25:23Speaker 2: meeting Encore. Right.
- 25:25Speaker 1: And the chef. Whoa.
- 25:27Speaker 2: This guy.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Good point.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Maybe that was part of the problem is like, she
- 25:31Speaker 2: looked embarrassed of Encore's what was coming out of his mouth.
- 25:34Speaker 2: So she's watching him like, Oh God, what's my husband
- 25:37Speaker 2: saying on national television? He's being corny. He's doing too much.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Like I'm hearing her, her like subjects.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I didn't really, I did not pick that up.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Um, no, she was like this. as he was talking,
- 25:51Speaker 2: you know, just sort.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Of locked in a glaze. I just kind of saw
- 25:54Speaker 1: that as, um, that's her resting face. Kind of like, um,
- 26:00Speaker 1: so do you see the, do you see when I
- 26:02Speaker 1: said Paige DeSorbo, like the connection? Cause, and maybe this
- 26:06Speaker 1: is actually to your point, not a great thing because
- 26:09Speaker 1: Paige was like that with Craig all the time. So
- 26:11Speaker 1: obviously that didn't work out, but like, She's always like
- 26:14Speaker 1: kind of annoyed and like, all right, well, I guess
- 26:17Speaker 1: I'll just do this. I mean, sort of dry and
- 26:19Speaker 1: sarcastic all the time. And I sort of saw similar
- 26:23Speaker 1: shades of that in Erica in general, but maybe I'm wrong.
- 26:31Speaker 1: So you think that she is annoyed by Ancora?
- 26:34Speaker 2: I don't know if she's always annoyed by Encore.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Encore's getting onto, you know, reality television for the first
- 26:41Speaker 2: time in his life. It's the first scene. He feels awkward.
- 26:44Speaker 2: It is awkward. I would be doing probably the same
- 26:49Speaker 2: thing to my husband. I understood it all. But then
- 26:52Speaker 2: there's just like a real regular shmegular looking dude in
- 26:57Speaker 2: plain clothes to the left.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Not even an apron, honestly. Yeah.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 27:03Speaker 1: That's rude. But also, you know what? Maybe Erica was like,
- 27:08Speaker 1: Encore is going to be, I don't know what's going
- 27:10Speaker 1: to happen. I want to, you know, pad this with
- 27:14Speaker 1: as much help as I can get. The chef is
- 27:17Speaker 1: supposed to come. I'm going to have him in this
- 27:19Speaker 1: just to kind of like throw things off a little
- 27:21Speaker 1: bit and hopefully give a little more footage that they
- 27:24Speaker 1: can kind of cut around. If the chef does something stupid,
- 27:28Speaker 1: they'll cut that in instead of Encore.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Right, right, right. Yeah.
- 27:32Speaker 1: No, for sure.
- 27:33Speaker 2: She padded it. For sure.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Well, we knew about the Cairo, Egypt, Base of the
- 27:40Speaker 1: Pyramids wedding, and I still can't get over it. But
- 27:44Speaker 1: we didn't know that they met, I guess we didn't know,
- 27:48Speaker 1: when she was teaching boxing, which I thought was really interesting. Yeah.
- 27:51Speaker 1: And we also got confirmation on Instagram. Our speculation that
- 27:57Speaker 1: Bilt gives people rewards for their rent and mortgage payments,
- 28:00Speaker 1: which we discussed quite often, I mean, quite thoroughly last week.
- 28:05Speaker 1: And then we got an emotional storyline about how her
- 28:10Speaker 1: liver has growths and that they grow with estrogen. So
- 28:16Speaker 1: she has been advised not to carry her own children
- 28:20Speaker 1: should she decide to get pregnant. And now they're on
- 28:22Speaker 1: Tinder for surrogates. So this is an interesting journey that we've,
- 28:27Speaker 1: very much a housewife's journey. We've seen, you know, oh,
- 28:31Speaker 1: Shamia on Atlanta.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yes.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Yes. Okay. Yeah. All right. So, I mean, it's great.
- 28:38Speaker 1: And I know we've seen it other places, but it's
- 28:41Speaker 1: going to be interesting to see how this pans out.
- 28:43Speaker 1: This is an emotional journey. That's hard. That's very difficult.
- 28:47Speaker 1: So why don't we move on to my second favorite part,
- 28:50Speaker 1: which was Martha Stewart giving Daisy... you know, just cornstarch
- 28:56Speaker 1: and potato starch instructions because you could just call Martha
- 28:59Speaker 1: Stewart on your phone and be like, God, can I
- 29:03Speaker 1: use this? Is this okay? And she's like, oh, yes,
- 29:05Speaker 1: you can definitely use it. They're interchangeable. It's just weird.
- 29:10Speaker 1: What's happening? Why aren't I invited? And I'm like, why
- 29:13Speaker 1: does Martha Stewart seem so desperate to like hang out
- 29:16Speaker 1: with her all the time, which is amazing to me. No.
- 29:21Speaker 2: I so am curious what you brought up. Like I
- 29:24Speaker 2: got more curious about it during this phone call. If
- 29:29Speaker 2: she has been like– for her to be taking calls
- 29:32Speaker 2: and saying she wants to be at the event, like
- 29:35Speaker 2: I'm like has she been done some kind of deal yet?
- 29:40Speaker 2: you know what I mean where yeah I don't know
- 29:44Speaker 2: because she's yeah it feels more than than not.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Yeah she's like well I was the one who put
- 29:51Speaker 1: this cast together or these new ladies and why aren't
- 29:53Speaker 1: I included in on this luncheon and the seder and
- 29:57Speaker 1: the drinks and the girls night and the girls drip
- 30:00Speaker 1: yes it's like no because you would be a million
- 30:04Speaker 1: dollars to come shoot you know so yeah I also
- 30:07Speaker 1: love that like Daisy's been influenced you know by the
- 30:11Speaker 1: original influencer I appreciate her calling it out that she
- 30:14Speaker 1: is the original influencer I mean it is it's OG
- 30:18Speaker 1: you know showing people how to do how to have
- 30:21Speaker 1: a an amazing home life and the things that you
- 30:23Speaker 1: can do at home so and then that she irons
- 30:26Speaker 1: her sheets now or has someone else iron her sheets
- 30:28Speaker 1: which is great yeah Think of a time when you
- 30:37Speaker 1: could have used therapy. Think of a time when you
- 30:40Speaker 1: were in a real pickle, maybe a breakup, maybe a burnout,
- 30:43Speaker 1: crash out, major anxiety, stress. Well, you get where I'm
- 30:48Speaker 1: going with this. But you wanted a therapist and you
- 30:51Speaker 1: wanted it right then, but you found it impossible to
- 30:54Speaker 1: find a therapist online who took your insurance. Well, you know,
- 30:57Speaker 1: affordable and accessible mental health care shouldn't be out of reach,

- 31:10Speaker 1: I love therapy. You know I do. And there are
- 31:13Speaker 1: a lot of online therapy platforms that actually fall short.

- 31:20Speaker 1: stuck paying the full cost out of pocket. No one
- 31:23Speaker 1: likes out of pocket. Or paying for an expensive monthly subscription.

- 34:26Speaker 1: I don't even know exactly what happened, but at some
- 34:28Speaker 1: point I looked in the mirror and thought, excuse me,
- 34:31Speaker 1: let's work on this skin, you know, because I'm getting
- 34:33Speaker 1: a little older and I've definitely noticed more fine lines.
- 34:36Speaker 1: So I've got the uneven texture, a little bit of
- 34:39Speaker 1: dark spots, and I did not invite them to my party.
- 34:44Speaker 1: That's why I started using GU Skin Care. It's spelled
- 34:47Speaker 1: J-I-Y-U and pronounced G-U. And honestly, these rejuvenation toner pads
- 34:53Speaker 1: have been a game changer for me. I've only been
- 34:56Speaker 1: using them for about two weeks and I've already noticed
- 34:58Speaker 1: a considerable difference in my skin. It feels exfoliated, incredibly smooth,
- 35:03Speaker 1: and just refreshed. I love using them at night. I'm
- 35:06Speaker 1: just noticing a difference so quickly. And at this point
- 35:09Speaker 1: in my life, I don't have six months to wait
- 35:11Speaker 1: around wondering, you know, is this doing anything? These are
- 35:14Speaker 1: not your ordinary toner pads. Think of them as an
- 35:17Speaker 1: entire Korean skincare routine packed into one easy swipe. Each
- 35:22Speaker 1: pad is saturated with eight clinically backed Korean skincare actives
- 35:26Speaker 1: designed to brighten, hydrate, soothe, and target signs of aging.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, by the way, I do feel very hydrated.
- 35:33Speaker 1: My skin feels very hydrated. They have snail mucin. You guys,
- 35:37Speaker 1: get with the snail mucin. And that's for hydration and glow,
- 35:41Speaker 1: peptides to support firmer looking skin, and niacinamide to help
- 35:45Speaker 1: visibly brighten and even skin tone. And unlike some toner
- 35:49Speaker 1: products that can leave your skin feeling stripped, my skin
- 35:52Speaker 1: feels hydrated, nourished, and so smooth afterward. I love how
- 35:57Speaker 1: easy they are. I don't want a 14-step skincare routine.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I don't have time. I have too much reality TV
- 36:04Speaker 1: to talk about. I want something that I will actually use.
- 36:07Speaker 1: So I grab a pad, I swipe, and I'm done.
- 36:10Speaker 1: If you're trying GU for the first time, I'd recommend
- 36:14Speaker 1: the Glow Up Bundle. It includes their best-selling toning polish
- 36:18Speaker 1: pads and their moisturizer with NAD +. So it's an
- 36:21Speaker 1: easy way to experience the GU routine while getting their

- 36:36Speaker 1: right now, GU is having a crazy deal for my darlings.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Their Glow Up Bundle is already up to 45% off,
- 36:44Speaker 1: but you can get an additional 20% off, plus free

- 37:11Speaker 1: What do we think about Daisy living in a rent-controlled
- 37:14Speaker 1: apartment for, well, Eugene there for 20 years and she's
- 37:17Speaker 1: there for 10? She says that it's like, you know,
- 37:21Speaker 1: one in a million. It's amazing. But the cackling gals
- 37:26Speaker 1: on the couch. Assholes. I mean, big assholes. Like, you know,
- 37:33Speaker 1: Jessa being like, oh, popcorn, and then just so nasty
- 37:36Speaker 1: in her confessional. And I was a little bummed that
- 37:40Speaker 1: Erica kind of joined in the cackling with that.
- 37:43Speaker 2: No, it was horrible.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:47Speaker 2: My husband, Wing, was watching with me, and he was like,
- 37:51Speaker 2: He's like, they're clearly– and they're not New Yorkers. Jessel's
- 37:55Speaker 2: from London and Erica's from Waco. They're not New Yorkers.
- 37:59Speaker 2: He's like, any New Yorker understands that what they have
- 38:04Speaker 2: is literally gold and you protect that. You pass it down.
- 38:08Speaker 2: You don't let anyone– you sit in a rent-controlled apartment
- 38:12Speaker 2: and you can use your money on other things.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, okay. That's right. Because, you know, reminder,
- 38:18Speaker 1: I mean, didn't we all watch Friends? And Monica Geller's
- 38:21Speaker 1: apartment that was rent controlled, that was a huge deal.
- 38:25Speaker 2: It's a really big deal in 20 years.
- 38:29Speaker 1: So it's better than buying in 20 years, you think?
- 38:33Speaker 2: Oh my God, I do. I really do. Yeah, because
- 38:36Speaker 2: they're probably paying like, they may not even be paying $ 2, 000
- 38:40Speaker 2: a month.
- 38:41Speaker 1: That's what I was thinking. Because I'm like thinking about
- 38:43Speaker 1: when I lived in New York and I'm like, okay,
- 38:45Speaker 1: how much did I pay for like A two-bedroom, you know,
- 38:48Speaker 1: when I was splitting it, and I'm like, 900 maybe?
- 38:51Speaker 1: It was really cheap.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Actually, I'm going to make it– because 20 years feels
- 38:55Speaker 2: like a really long time ago. It's not that long ago.
- 38:57Speaker 2: So they're probably paying two-something for the last 21 years. But,
- 39:02Speaker 2: you know, like if you look at the prices now,
- 39:05Speaker 2: I mean, it's just– first of all, they're both service providers.
- 39:09Speaker 2: They are not built– you know, they're service providers.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:15Speaker 2: This is amazing for them.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I never, like, I love how you put it in
- 39:19Speaker 1: a category because I never would have thought about it.
- 39:21Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean, it's like hair and makeup. Amazing. Period.
- 39:25Speaker 1: But like high end.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Yes, she has Martha, but when did she get Martha?
- 39:28Speaker 2: You know, when did he start– like I'm not saying
- 39:31Speaker 2: they don't do well. Obviously they do, but.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Like– Oh, if they moved to the suburbs, they could
- 39:35Speaker 1: probably buy a $ 2 million house. You know what I'm saying?
- 39:38Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. That's a different story.
- 39:40Speaker 1: But yeah, in the city– But to live in Manhattan. Yeah.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Yeah. No, I mean, it's amazing. Like– Wing's dad, when
- 39:46Speaker 2: he passed, we were– I mean he paid– he had
- 39:49Speaker 2: a two-bedroom in a totally Hasidic area of Brooklyn. So
- 39:57Speaker 2: it's like you're in a world there that– who's coming there?
- 40:02Speaker 2: But everyone thought– all my nieces and nephews– like everyone
- 40:05Speaker 2: considered it. It just didn't make sense to hold on
- 40:08Speaker 2: to it because the neighborhood is just so specific. Yeah.
- 40:11Speaker 2: And it's not buy anything. So, but like, I still like,
- 40:18Speaker 2: even last night I was like, I can't believe like
- 40:21Speaker 2: Charlene didn't take it.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean?
- 40:23Speaker 2: Just because it's dirt cheap for a two bedroom rent controlled.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I mean, it was, you know. Yeah.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Wow.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Yeah. No, they could.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Yeah. It's just they don't understand. It's ignorance is what
- 40:35Speaker 1: it comes down to. It's just plain ignorance. And Daisy
- 40:38Speaker 1: took it really well. I don't know if she'll take
- 40:41Speaker 1: it well later, but right now she's rolling with the
- 40:44Speaker 1: punches with these gals like cackling on her couch over
- 40:48Speaker 1: her choices.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Well, because she knows these two idiots don't get it.
- 40:53Speaker 2: They're not New Yorkers. They're transplants. And Bilt is in
- 40:57Speaker 2: a totally different situation than she is. And Jessel, I
- 41:00Speaker 2: promise you, is running through her money. So it's, you know,
- 41:04Speaker 2: her husband, what's he doing? Your husband is like.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Doing weird shit right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 41:10Speaker 2: So back up and you're rude.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Also, karma will come. It's going to come for Jessel.
- 41:18Speaker 1: I mean, it's just like she is laying the groundwork
- 41:22Speaker 1: thick right now. I mean, this foundation of rudeness is
- 41:27Speaker 1: going to come back and bite her in the ass,
- 41:31Speaker 1: in the water, water, in the water. I remember when
- 41:35Speaker 1: she ordered water and lemon. I never knew you could
- 41:37Speaker 1: even do that. I waited tables and one day someone's like,
- 41:42Speaker 1: can I have water and lemon? I was like, come
- 41:44Speaker 1: again now? What now? Water? Water. Just hot water?
- 41:48Speaker 2: Water.
- 41:48Speaker 1: It was hot water. Hot water. And I was like, okay.
- 41:52Speaker 1: And they're like, and just lemon on the side. I'm like,
- 41:54Speaker 1: You don't want tea? No tea? No, just hot water.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I mean, I was like 18, so I hadn't lived
- 42:02Speaker 1: a life. But at that time, I was like, that
- 42:06Speaker 1: is so weird. Now, I'm like, give me hot water
- 42:09Speaker 1: and lemon all day, all night.
- 42:11Speaker 2: The lemon is just luxury. I'll just take the hot water.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Right.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Anyway, so when they're over at Daisy's apartment, they... They
- 42:24Speaker 1: have a conversation about, you know, moving and stuff like that.
- 42:26Speaker 1: But I am curious about this clothes situation. What did
- 42:30Speaker 1: I miss? She's like, if we moved, it would have
- 42:32Speaker 1: to be like, where do I put my clothes? And
- 42:33Speaker 1: they're like, well, where are your clothes now? And she's like,
- 42:35Speaker 1: that's a whole other thing. So what are we talking about?
- 42:37Speaker 1: Do you think she's got a storage unit where she
- 42:39Speaker 1: keeps her clothes? I mean, that would make sense, right?
- 42:42Speaker 2: Possibly. I mean, maybe Martha broke her off a little
- 42:45Speaker 2: piece of something and she has like a closet at Martha's.
- 42:50Speaker 1: I mean, that would work. That would be amazing. I
- 42:53Speaker 1: love that Martha's like, oh, you want me to bring
- 42:56Speaker 1: you some more eggs on Monday? I mean, God, it's
- 42:59Speaker 1: just such a fun relationship. I know.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Because Martha likes to give.
- 43:03Speaker 1: That's the other thing. You're seeing Martha. She likes to
- 43:06Speaker 1: give and she likes to give advice. She likes to
- 43:08Speaker 1: give her eggs. She's a giver.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Yes. She sees how the rest of us are living.
- 43:13Speaker 2: She can't get over it. And she's just like, she
- 43:16Speaker 2: just wants to say like, guys, there's such a better
- 43:19Speaker 2: way to do everything you're doing. Everything you're doing is
- 43:23Speaker 2: so bad.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Bad. But also, she's not going to come for someone's
- 43:27Speaker 1: popcorn ceiling. I can tell you that, though. She's going
- 43:30Speaker 1: to have a lot of, you know, a lot more
- 43:32Speaker 1: decorum when it comes to that. Right.
- 43:34Speaker 2: I mean, she did come in and rattle off the
- 43:37Speaker 2: 12 things in her kitchen that needed to go and
- 43:39Speaker 2: rolled her eyes to camera. But it's different. It is different.
- 43:43Speaker 1: It is. Now, Jessel. She's Martha.
- 43:47Speaker 2: She's not Jessel Tankman.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Absolutely. Did you say Tankman?
- 43:53Speaker 2: I did. Why did I say that?
- 43:54Speaker 1: It's okay. I think it's great to add a minute.
- 43:56Speaker 1: It's just tanks.
- 43:58Speaker 2: I put two Ronis together, Kristen Tankman, the tanks.
- 44:05Speaker 1: And Kristen Takeman and, and, and Jessel tank. That's really funny.
- 44:12Speaker 2: I think I've been calling her Jessel Tankman. Oh my God.
- 44:17Speaker 1: I love that. Um, You know what's going to come
- 44:21Speaker 1: back and be a big thing, and I don't know
- 44:23Speaker 1: if it's going to happen at the reunion or probably
- 44:27Speaker 1: likely to happen during this season, is that Aaron is
- 44:30Speaker 1: going to find out that Jessel made an allegation, floated
- 44:37Speaker 1: an allegation out there, that Aaron flooded her house on
- 44:41Speaker 1: purpose to get insurance. And my God, is that dirty
- 44:45Speaker 1: and disgusting and And those are some tough, tough words.
- 44:50Speaker 1: It's disgusting. Heads are going to roll.
- 44:54Speaker 2: I'm here to inform you that that happened last night
- 45:00Speaker 2: on Watch What Happens Live. It was revealed. Erin was
- 45:05Speaker 2: the guest. And Andy was like, what did you think about?
- 45:10Speaker 2: And she was like, yeah, I thought we were going
- 45:12Speaker 2: to be, you know, saying each other's a bitch and
- 45:15Speaker 2: a this and a that. She's like, I can't believe
- 45:18Speaker 2: she went that low.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Like I can't.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah. I mean, that is about as
- 45:24Speaker 1: low as you can go. It's really bad. Really, really bad.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Like that's, no, it's not as low as you can go.
- 45:29Speaker 1: I mean, there's a lot lower you can go. I
- 45:30Speaker 1: don't know what I'm talking about. Who am I? I
- 45:32Speaker 1: talk about the housewives every day. You can go so
- 45:34Speaker 1: much lower. Right.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Right. But it's serious. And you stick that little bug
- 45:40Speaker 2: in people's minds, which wasn't in my mind at all.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Stick it in the insurance company's minds too. And
- 45:45Speaker 1: the next thing you know, you're getting audited and you're
- 45:47Speaker 1: like becoming the next Teresa. And it's like, but there's
- 45:49Speaker 1: nothing there. I mean, we saw the footage. We saw how,
- 45:53Speaker 1: thank God there's footage of that, you know, with them
- 45:55Speaker 1: discovering it. And I mean, I think that that can
- 45:58Speaker 1: only help them if there's ever a question about Right.
- 46:01Speaker 2: And I also think that– and listen, we've seen– speaking
- 46:05Speaker 2: of Teresa, we've seen a million things. But I think
- 46:12Speaker 2: it would be so risky knowing what the internet is
- 46:15Speaker 2: like to put that on camera if it wasn't– if
- 46:21Speaker 2: you had set it up, you know?
- 46:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:24Speaker 2: I just think it's so risky. You might talk about it,
- 46:27Speaker 2: but to put it on camera– I don't know. You know,
- 46:31Speaker 2: I just think that's, yeah. But then of course, people
- 46:35Speaker 2: were looking at the timeline of when she's owed money
- 46:39Speaker 2: and this and that. It was like right in line.
- 46:42Speaker 1: So who knows? No, I know. It's not true. I
- 46:45Speaker 1: think it's a bunch of bullshit. I honestly think like-
- 46:47Speaker 1: I think so too. Yeah. I think it was a
- 46:49Speaker 1: run of bad luck. And it's also a run of
- 46:52Speaker 1: living in New York and then having another house on
- 46:54Speaker 1: the side that you're not there at. I mean, these
- 46:56Speaker 1: are very likely scenarios. And when- Did Erin speak to
- 47:00Speaker 1: why she didn't pay the landlord? Because I remember her
- 47:04Speaker 1: speaking out about it earlier and it sounded like a
- 47:07Speaker 1: pretty reasonable explanation, which is that they had told the landlord,
- 47:12Speaker 1: we have a rat problem. Please fix this. We have
- 47:14Speaker 1: a rat problem. Please fix this. And they did nothing
- 47:17Speaker 1: about it. And so then they withheld rent. And I'm like, yeah,
- 47:21Speaker 1: I probably would do that too. If it's an infestation
- 47:25Speaker 1: and this is a health concern- I'm not going to
- 47:27Speaker 1: pay you money if you're not going to do something
- 47:29Speaker 1: about this.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Right. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. I don't think she did,
- 47:34Speaker 2: but don't hold me to it. You know, I, I,
- 47:37Speaker 2: but yeah. Um, but nothing more heavy on Erin last
- 47:42Speaker 2: night though. Not even the jam. So she was, she
- 47:46Speaker 2: seemed to be bouncing with, with it all. Yeah.
- 47:49Speaker 1: Only thing heavy were her necklaces, her several necklaces, you know? Yeah.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Erin had like one of the best lines when they
- 47:58Speaker 1: went to that Saturday morning breakfast when she and Jessel
- 48:01Speaker 1: had their little meeting at 830 on a Saturday, which
- 48:04Speaker 1: I loved hearing about. I'm like, oh, they're shooting on
- 48:06Speaker 1: a Saturday morning. That is cool. That is cool. Yeah.
- 48:09Speaker 1: And you felt that because you felt like there's people there.
- 48:11Speaker 1: And that's what I love. I'm like, I hate it
- 48:14Speaker 1: when we see these housewives. In a restaurant, you know
- 48:17Speaker 1: that they cleared out and then just put like some
- 48:19Speaker 1: PAs in, in the background or whatever.
- 48:21Speaker 2: I agree.
- 48:22Speaker 1: So, you know, New York City is the backdrop. I
- 48:24Speaker 1: love that they have them there on a Saturday morning
- 48:26Speaker 1: with the regulars. And in comes Jessel in a pair
- 48:29Speaker 1: of stirrup pants, by the way. Interesting to see those
- 48:32Speaker 1: come back around. Whoopie wow. Wow.
- 48:35Speaker 2: What a sense memory I had seeing those stirrups.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Me too.
- 48:39Speaker 2: I was like.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Did you feel them? Like I felt like. Oh, yeah.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Around my. Right in the arch of my. Arch of my. Yeah. Yeah.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Yeah. And I have a hell of an arch. My
- 48:47Speaker 2: arch is like, like really crazy. So I mean, my,
- 48:52Speaker 2: my feet look like the Barbie, like the Barbie feet
- 48:55Speaker 2: that just, they're just weirdly arched.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Because you wore so many stirrups. I mean, it has
- 48:59Speaker 1: to be.
- 48:59Speaker 2: So many stirrups. It pulled my arch right up.
- 49:02Speaker 1: It pulled them, it pulled them up. I loved, I'm like. Yeah,
- 49:07Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Listen, the crotch was always going to be a problem
- 49:11Speaker 2: because it's pulling down and all of that.
- 49:13Speaker 1: They may have fixed it by now, you know? Yeah.
- 49:16Speaker 2: They look great on her with the heels. The heels
- 49:18Speaker 2: and the stirrups look great.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Me. The look was really good. But Erin's line about like, well,
- 49:24Speaker 1: we got nowhere. The only thing I learned is that
- 49:27Speaker 1: Jessel likes to dress like she's at a nightclub at 8.30
- 49:29Speaker 1: in the morning. And I was like, this is so perfect.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:34Speaker 1: But when they were going head to head there– I
- 49:39Speaker 1: appreciated Aaron just serving it up fresh, hot and fresh, saying,
- 49:45Speaker 1: you don't treat people nicely. I mean, the fact that Dr.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Belkin was like the headline here, and we got Dr.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Belkin on camera saying pretty much what, co-signing what Aaron said.
- 50:00Speaker 1: And the fact that Jessel couldn't fucking read between the lines. Yeah.
- 50:05Speaker 1: That he literally said in so many words- yeah, she
- 50:09Speaker 1: was a bitch and she didn't have time. She didn't
- 50:11Speaker 1: have the time or day for me. Time of day, whatever,
- 50:14Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying? And Jess was like, he
- 50:17Speaker 1: didn't say that, Aaron. No, he didn't. It's like, no,
- 50:19Speaker 1: actually he totally.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Did say that. He literally said, you just seemed like
- 50:25Speaker 2: you didn't want to talk to me. And it was
- 50:27Speaker 2: so shocking that I did bring it to your friend
- 50:34Speaker 2: and my client and talk to her about it.
- 50:37Speaker 1: That's how shocking it was. And the fact that you're
- 50:39Speaker 1: sitting before me.
- 50:40Speaker 2: But I'm still going to take your money.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll take your money and you can put me
- 50:42Speaker 1: on camera and I will speak to my truth. And
- 50:45Speaker 1: all I said was we didn't know each other. Or no,
- 50:49Speaker 1: his preface was like, hey, look, we didn't know each
- 50:51Speaker 1: other then. Now we're cool, right? Because you pay me
- 50:53Speaker 1: money and I do your work. But like I did
- 50:56Speaker 1: mention that when we were introduced that you weren't interested
- 50:59Speaker 1: in talking to me. And then Aaron said, I can't
- 51:02Speaker 1: believe she was rude to you. And I said, no, no,
- 51:06Speaker 1: she wasn't. I wasn't offended at all. People are rude
- 51:08Speaker 1: to me all the time. People push me off and
- 51:11Speaker 1: they don't know who I am and they're always rude
- 51:13Speaker 1: and discourteous. And I was fine with that because I
- 51:16Speaker 1: always take the high road because I'm secure in who
- 51:18Speaker 1: I am and my skills. And the fact that she
- 51:21Speaker 1: says I was mortified, well, you should be mortified and
- 51:26Speaker 1: you should still be mortified and you should apologize to him.
- 51:29Speaker 1: But no, now you're still going to deny that you
- 51:31Speaker 1: said that. Bitch, please.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Well, it is– you know, I always liked Jessel. She
- 51:37Speaker 2: was the underdog. And she has a very soft femininity
- 51:44Speaker 2: to her. Like she looks very soft, literally. Like I
- 51:49Speaker 2: feel like everything on her is just like ting and
- 51:54Speaker 2: like– Yeah.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:57Speaker 2: I was rooting for her. And now, and is it
- 52:03Speaker 2: because Jenna's gone and, you know, I don't know if
- 52:07Speaker 2: she feels like she wants to be the top B
- 52:10Speaker 2: in the fashion slot. Interesting.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Right, right.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:17Speaker 1: She tried to take the crown.
- 52:19Speaker 2: But it's not. It's so, she's lost, I think, all
- 52:23Speaker 2: of the goodwill we had for her.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Either that or she's decided, okay, I'm going
- 52:28Speaker 1: to be the villain. I can't imagine her doing that.
- 52:31Speaker 1: No one wants to actually be the villain. But she
- 52:34Speaker 1: is certainly acting like one, the way that she treats
- 52:37Speaker 1: people and talks to people.
- 52:39Speaker 2: But I think we just were not seeing it, you know?
- 52:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you're right. I think we weren't seeing it.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Erin saw it way early and knows it, which is
- 52:49Speaker 1: why She can make up with Jessel one second and
- 52:52Speaker 1: apologize and then two seconds later be like, oh, she's
- 52:55Speaker 1: a clout chaser, blah, blah, blah, blah, which is rude.
- 52:57Speaker 1: But like, well, you know, the.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Truth is the truth. And Erin is a shit talker.
- 53:02Speaker 1: She's always going to be a shit talker. Now, when
- 53:04Speaker 1: she said to her that like you are, I mean,
- 53:07Speaker 1: she kept rattling on. She had a list, you know,
- 53:10Speaker 1: of synonyms that she was going to go through in
- 53:12Speaker 1: order to like make it clear you're a clout chaser,
- 53:16Speaker 1: you're snobby. You're not nice to people. You treat people
- 53:19Speaker 1: like they're beneath you. I mean, she just kept going.
- 53:25Speaker 1: And those were organic and real things to say. And
- 53:29Speaker 1: Jessel was like, can you hold those cue cards up
- 53:31Speaker 1: a little bit? I can't see what I wrote, what
- 53:33Speaker 1: someone wrote for me. You have a plan. You're a schemer.
- 53:38Speaker 1: You're a one-man ponzi. How do you say that? You're
- 53:43Speaker 1: a one-man ponzi scheme? Yes. Yes. You are a one-man
- 53:48Speaker 1: Ponzi scheme, and have you gargled yourself? Is it? What
- 53:55Speaker 1: is it? Google? Oh, have you Googled yourself recently bootleg
- 54:02Speaker 1: hideaway martini? Bootleg martini. Is that it? Yes.
- 54:08Speaker 2: It's a Houdini. Yes. It's Houdini.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Who done it? Your bootleg who done it?
- 54:14Speaker 2: Well, it's Houdini.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Houdini. Houdini.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Order some water.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Erin's like, I guess I'll pay for water. Very funny.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I know. I mean, it's just, it's giving way too much.
- 54:28Speaker 1: We've seen it before. We'll see it again, you know,
- 54:31Speaker 1: but you're always going to have a delusional housewife come
- 54:33Speaker 1: in with these pre-written lines and it takes away from everything.
- 54:37Speaker 2: It is insulting to us. And first and foremost, I
- 54:42Speaker 2: take it personally.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I do too. Please.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Please.
- 54:48Speaker 1: You're not going to get a t-shirt out of it.
- 54:50Speaker 1: And if you do, it's going to be on your
- 54:52Speaker 1: Instagram shop and no one's going to buy it.
- 54:55Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Come on. Also two hours late to the Seder and
- 55:01Speaker 1: no explanation. Weird, right? I mean, you can't, you'd have
- 55:04Speaker 1: been just like sourcing macaroons.
- 55:06Speaker 2: Yeah. She's better pull another Houdini trick out of her
- 55:10Speaker 2: back pocket because this isn't it.
- 55:14Speaker 1: No, it's not.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Tank, tank, tank.
- 55:16Speaker 1: This isn't it. Tank, tank, tank. I tank-a-ta-tank-a-ta-tank-a-ta-tank. Tank-a-tank-a-tank-a-tank. Tink, tink, tink, tink, tink, tink, tink.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Maura over on Dancing with the Stars, by the way,
- 55:25Speaker 1: which I kind of caught a glimpse of. I'm so
- 55:28Speaker 1: excited about the Dancing with the Stars cast. I haven't, like,
- 55:30Speaker 1: watched it, but I know it's a great cast right now.
- 55:32Speaker 2: It seems exciting. Yeah.
- 55:35Speaker 1: But the Seder was fun. You know, these outfits. I mean,
- 55:40Speaker 1: Erica with the booty shorts and then Hayley with this see-through.
- 55:44Speaker 2: What is that?
- 55:45Speaker 1: What is that? Do we not know respect?
- 55:47Speaker 2: And Erin was dressed appropriately.
- 55:49Speaker 1: Yes.
- 55:50Speaker 2: And Carol was dressed appropriately.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Yes.
- 55:54Speaker 2: Daisy was, but everyone else was, I mean, I don't
- 55:57Speaker 2: remember what Jessel wore, but it was just wild stuff.
- 56:00Speaker 1: She was so late. We couldn't tell, but like- We
- 56:02Speaker 1: couldn't tell. Carol's like, I got this little black dress
- 56:06Speaker 1: out of the trunk of my car. It's always back
- 56:09Speaker 1: there just in case.
- 56:12Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 56:13Speaker 1: It so is.
- 56:13Speaker 2: It so is.
- 56:14Speaker 1: But, like, I liked that they were at her parents' house.
- 56:19Speaker 1: But that must have been a real schlep. Holy shit.
- 56:22Speaker 1: It was. Holy shit.
- 56:23Speaker 2: In fact, Wing pulled it up on the map to
- 56:27Speaker 2: show me. He opened up his phone and he goes.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Battery Park? Is that where it was?
- 56:32Speaker 2: Midwood is where it was. He goes, this is so
- 56:35Speaker 2: deep into Brooklyn. He's like, they got these girls deep
- 56:40Speaker 2: into Brooklyn.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Wow.
- 56:41Speaker 2: And it was just cool because it was, listen, here's
- 56:45Speaker 2: what I like about Daisy. She has, she doesn't pick
- 56:51Speaker 2: up the kitchen, you know, like there's in both her
- 56:55Speaker 2: home and her parents' home. We have stuff.
- 56:59Speaker 1: I didn't even know she was in someone else's house.
- 57:02Speaker 1: That's how, that's the continuity of not picking up Deanna.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Like what you're saying. I didn't know the difference. I
- 57:07Speaker 1: didn't even know we were there.
- 57:09Speaker 2: Oh, in the beginning.
- 57:09Speaker 1: For a little while.
- 57:10Speaker 2: You thought we were.
- 57:11Speaker 1: For a few seconds.
- 57:12Speaker 2: You were like, oh, there's all the stuff on the
- 57:13Speaker 2: counter in the kitchen.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Yes.
- 57:16Speaker 2: And as much as that wouldn't be me for television,
- 57:20Speaker 2: you know, like I couldn't do it. I respect it.
- 57:25Speaker 2: And that little, like Cy got it immediately. She's like,
- 57:29Speaker 2: this is classic old school Brooklyn. Like we are just
- 57:33Speaker 2: in a real 50 years in that house. It felt
- 57:36Speaker 2: like it. Yeah. I love this. This is a real
- 57:40Speaker 2: New Yorker.
- 57:41Speaker 1: It's amazing. It's refreshing. And you know what also is refreshing?
- 57:46Speaker 1: And I'm sure Jessel will probably say this next week
- 57:49Speaker 1: about the schlep there and that it was like so
- 57:53Speaker 1: far away and, you know, kind of like Ramona doesn't
- 57:56Speaker 1: go to Tribeca or wherever, you know. But like no
- 58:01Speaker 1: one actually complained. Carol sure as hell didn't complain. No
- 58:07Speaker 1: one complained about going that far. And that is typically
- 58:11Speaker 1: something that you do on every show. It spans from
- 58:15Speaker 1: Housewives to Vanderpump Rules, like to the Valley. I mean,
- 58:18Speaker 1: let's talk about how.
- 58:20Speaker 2: Santa Clarita.
- 58:20Speaker 1: I mean, we're living in it. You know what I'm saying? Like,
- 58:23Speaker 1: I'm here representing a very controversial place. A schlep. Yeah.
- 58:30Speaker 2: You know, you're representing a schlep. And it was something
- 58:33Speaker 2: we spent... 15 minutes on I feel like like there
- 58:36Speaker 2: was just like all cutaways montages unit maps I mean
- 58:40Speaker 2: Potomac does it all the time the maps from here
- 58:43Speaker 2: to there so the fact that that wasn't even a
- 58:46Speaker 2: thing is so incredible I mean it is like it's
- 58:51Speaker 2: just it's breaking records now yeah.
- 58:55Speaker 1: So we're gonna we'll get to the Seder more next
- 58:59Speaker 1: week but I do want to talk about before we
- 59:02Speaker 1: wrap it up let's talk about Haley and the FaceTime
- 59:06Speaker 1: she had with her mom. Crazy.
- 59:09Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I mean, this mom is.
- 59:13Speaker 2: I know. There's so many.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Wild. And you know what I came up with? Here's
- 59:19Speaker 1: what my... Okay. So her story... About John and Kate
- 59:26Speaker 1: and her dad doing her plastic surgery, the tummy tuck,
- 59:29Speaker 1: and that she basically convalesced or like rehabbed in her
- 59:33Speaker 1: mom and dad's home. Kate did? It's just like weird
- 59:38Speaker 1: and wild to me. I don't– but anyway.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 59:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 59:41Speaker 2: That's what– okay.
- 59:42Speaker 1: That's what she said.
- 59:43Speaker 2: And so did he?
- 59:44Speaker 1: And then he asked to stay at the house when
- 59:48Speaker 1: they got separated. Okay.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Okay.
- 59:50Speaker 1: That's– okay. But so, yeah, that was the thing. Like,
- 59:54Speaker 1: they'd both been there, which is so weird. So that,
- 59:58Speaker 1: first of all, I can see why that would burn
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: up Kate because it's like a family friend's daughter, like,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: got with her husband, right? Okay, so that's very strange.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: But here's where it gets even more strange. Her mom.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Her mom is the reason why I think anything even
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: happened between her and John because her mom was encouraging it.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Her mom did not protect her when she was 22.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: She was 22 years old. This man was living in
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: her house and, and he like pursued her as a
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: young 22 year old girl coming home from college. Gross.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: And then like her mom fucking, she said it last
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: week or the first week where she was like, Oh,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: her mom was like, Oh, he's so nice. You know, I,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: It sounded like she was laying the foundation of, you
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: should go for John. Like, what are you thinking? You
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: should be protecting your daughter. And don't have your daughter
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: come home and stay in the same house as a man,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: as a married man who, like, seems to be maybe
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: coming on to your daughter. Also, kick him the fuck out,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: you know? Like, where is your head? And then to
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: then put Haley in a situation where after that all
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: went down, her mom had the gall to say to her,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: you know, make me proud and like slip away into
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: stability with a rich man so that you're not on
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: the radar anymore. You've already like disgraced our name. I'm
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: just reading between the lines, but fuck her mom. That's
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: messed up. And I feel very bad for her because
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I feel like her mom has traumatized her and has
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: a lot of influence on her. And the fact that
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: she's able to even speak with her to this day
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: and have a relationship says a lot about her considering
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: that she was clearly the mother in that relationship. Right. Oof.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: What are your thoughts?
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: No, I mean, I think you nailed it. It's interesting.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: You're making me wonder why her mother would want her
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: to date a guy with all those children, eight children.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: And was it to get fame? I'm actually wondering. Because
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: what would the reason be? A nice guy with nothing
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: but baggage on his hands. And like, it doesn't What
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: was that about?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I don't understand it.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: And also like- Like, does she want her to be
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: the next, you know?
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Right, right, right.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: It just doesn't make sense. Like, any mother would go like,
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: first of all, he's radioactive right now. So if there's
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: anything there, give it a beat. You know what I mean? Like,
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: that's what you would say if there was an interest.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Right. You know, he's an- She knew him. He's hiding here.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: He's in hiding at our house. He's in hiding.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: So it's almost like they just offered their daughter to him.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: It's very weird. Yeah. And you know what? I said
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: her mom, and I apologize. I even have in my
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: notes because I just started to put down mom. But
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: then I'm like, let's not take the dad off the hook, okay? Right.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. So I take that back. Her mom
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: and her dad.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: She seemed to– think her mom was the driver.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Why? It's just like any parent would go like, this
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: is not a good situation for you to be in
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: right now. If you like him, give it a year,
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: two years.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Pull her out of it and pull him off of it.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Pull him off of her. Get out of the house.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: On the yacht? Are you insane right now? Like, what
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: are you doing? It's so gross. It's so fucking gross. I...
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: have a lot of problems with that. And I think,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: you know, she's seeing a therapist and I, you know,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I love that the therapist was like, have you considered
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: joining a queer bird watching group? And she for real said,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: since when are birds queer? And I thought that it
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: was a joke, like a one-liner, you know, and I
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: was like, oh, she's got some good one-liners. Like she's
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: like jam and you know, since when are birds queer?
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: And she incidentally, like it wasn't, Now on purpose. And
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: then she realized she was talking about her and not
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: the birds.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: I mean, I think there's, it's a lot of it's
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: powered by marijuana and gummies, you know, but it takes the,
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: it takes a little while for the synapses. But it's sad.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: You know, I think what I'm hearing also is that
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: she would have been with a woman period.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: And she would have lived in an authentic life with
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: a partner and, not in this, which is not her truth.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: And it is strange to hear her say that she
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: wouldn't choose this and she's still with her husband. And
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: I know they have a lavender marriage, but it's an
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: odd thing to say out loud about your partner. And
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: I think that that, how can that be taken any
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: other way than hurtful?
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Oh God, yeah.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I mean, who knows?
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: We haven't met him. We have no idea what their arrangement,
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: like their real nuts and bolts of the arrangement, like
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: the intricacies. He may know it and he may agree
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: with it. I mean, I have no idea, you know,
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: like it's, but I do think you can't, you know,
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: it's similar, like not similar to Monica Lewinsky.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: But we can't forget like.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: The press at that time, it was different. You know,
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: it was so relentless.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: And what went on on like the late night shows
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: and the, you know, and just hearing that, because I'm thinking, gosh,
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: if something happened to me in that, like I would
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: be able to handle my, no, you wouldn't. Especially when
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: you're that young.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: But, you know, all of that is like when they
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: are out for blood, you're cooked.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, the tabloids, that's all it was. And
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: it's like, you know, and of course they're going to
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: blame her. They're going to blame the woman. They're not
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: going to blame John. It's disgusting.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: And that story was so hot.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Yeah. And now you've got, I mean, when I saw
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: the tabloids, I'm like, you know, homewrecker, whatever. I'm like, oh,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: even back then, I'm like, why are we fucking blaming her?
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Why are you looking at her? Look at him. What
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: a dick. What a loser. And then Aaron is bringing up,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: The whole thing. So, you know, I guess we'll see
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: where this goes. She called her boring and now it's
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: gotten back to her. And now she's out for blood.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: So we'll see about how she responds to this. And
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: it was kind of funny that the way I'm saying
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: it now is exactly the way that Aaron was like, well,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: I didn't do this. And you broke up with a
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: marriage where there was eight kids. What do you have
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: to say about that, Haley? It was like passing her,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: you know, the torch. And now we're all waiting to
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: see what this is going to be.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Well, I thought it was so funny because like when
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: she– we got the preview of that line and for
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: some reason I didn't connect it back to John and Kate.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Like I thought this was another– because.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: It's so long ago. Because it was so long ago. Yeah.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: Yeah. That it's interesting to me that it would even
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: hold weight at this point. It just throws me that
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: it would even hold that much weight, you know?
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: And it's like of all the weapons, all the verbal
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: weapons that you have in your arsenal, Erin went for
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: the one thing that I think we're all going to
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: attach her to, that she's going to have to speak to.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: And I think that had to have been somewhat, I
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: don't know if I want to say premeditated, but kind
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: of like, well, fine, if we're going to go there,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: why don't you speak on this since that's half the
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: reason why you're here because you've got this name for yourself,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: like whatever. Totally.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: Totally. Yeah. No, for sure. For 100%.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: But the crisis management thing, the PR, that that spurred
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: her into doing that, I mean, that she was doing clippings.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: I mean, I don't even know what that means necessarily,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: but that she started doing that in the middle of
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: when the the heat hadn't even been turned down yet,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: that she's working at a PR agency and she's still
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: in the tabloids. That to me was crazy. I was like,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: how much time passed before you got involved doing PR?
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Like that was very interesting. And I'd like to hear
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: more about that.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, I'm feeling sad for her. I feel sad
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: for her because it seems like it did a real.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Number on her.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: And like when you say all the names that could
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: flood into my mind and tabloids, it's like, did I
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: know Haley Glassman? It's somewhere in there for me.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: It's there.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: It's bouncing around. But you even have this name that's
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: bouncing around and it's like it does. feel that significant,
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: but it's like if you're going through it, it's everything.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: It burned her life down. It's wild. I mean, it
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: may have been a blip on the map as far
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: as gossip and being on the radar, but that was
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: enough to take a person down. So it is nice
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: to see and hear her story because I think beyond
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: what we were all irritated about, the connection with John
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Gosselin and Kate Plus Eight, being irritated about that connection,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: like why are you trying to, you know, why is
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: that your banner to come on the show? That's bullshit.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: It's a bigger picture. It's really representative of what that
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: time was and to your point earlier of what it
