- 0:20Speaker 1: I don't know because I can't read. But what's going on? Everybody?
- 0:23Speaker 1: I'm the one, the only w o okay, I e
- 0:26Speaker 1: joint here by my normal cast of misfits. We got
- 0:30Speaker 1: I don't even know. I need something for Felix, Like,
- 0:32Speaker 1: I don't feel like I have anything for him. Felix
- 0:35Speaker 1: is here, I don't know what. Yeah, I haven't thought
- 0:38Speaker 1: of anything for you yet. Sorry, I'm a teacher. I
- 0:42Speaker 1: guess you're a man who isn't a teacher nowadays? God
- 0:45Speaker 1: damn everyone teacher, Like everyone in the key Forge community
- 0:50Speaker 1: either working as a teacher or works in it. Mm hmmm.
- 0:55Speaker 1: I feel like there. I feel like there's a trend here.
- 0:58Speaker 1: But we also do have have the guy who is
- 1:01Speaker 1: better than you, mister Cole Robbie. Hey, that's it, Yeah,
- 1:09Speaker 1: already such a humble intro. He's better than you?
- 1:16Speaker 2: Oh hi guys, yep, well we'll just go with it.
- 1:20Speaker 1: That weird kid in your chemistry class, Dexter. Hello, everybody
- 1:25Speaker 1: got stuff to go over today? Big news I think
- 1:28Speaker 1: for almost everyone. I don't think anybody is excluded from
- 1:34Speaker 1: pretty sweet big news. But we did have you, te
- 1:38Speaker 1: mault Champs. They've kind of been going it's a thing.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe go to a past episode if
- 1:43Speaker 1: you're new around here. But te Mault Champs Dexter Felix,
- 1:47Speaker 1: you guys had a te Mault recently?
- 1:49Speaker 3: Yeah, our two Mault championship today ages happened. We only
- 1:53Speaker 3: had seven people, but it was cool. I ended up
- 1:56Speaker 3: getting going to in one with my Taja build. I
- 1:59Speaker 3: lost round one to Chris's really annoying a faunas. I
- 2:04Speaker 3: got super ahead early on and was like literally three
- 2:07Speaker 3: expeditions ahead until the very end, and then I couldn't
- 2:11Speaker 3: move anymore because he got rid of all my cards,
- 2:13Speaker 3: so I lost. But then my other two games were
- 2:15Speaker 3: pretty easy wins. Sounds like Mike Moon is pretty fun,
- 2:20Speaker 3: but I hate a Faunas.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Sounds like my kind of a funas. Ye know, I'm
- 2:26Speaker 1: almost there now, I can do nothing.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Row. My guys were to each other and he was
- 2:33Speaker 3: three away and he still managed to win.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It's my kind of deck Feelix. Did you how did
- 2:38Speaker 1: you survive the te Mault?
- 2:41Speaker 4: I breaked hard, which is pretty fun. I lost the
- 2:46Speaker 4: faunas as well. I'm math wrong, and he double moved
- 2:50Speaker 4: for the win.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Ah.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Mathing Ron always a pain in the ass.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Here's the way is a lot harder in person than
- 2:57Speaker 3: it is on b g A.
- 2:59Speaker 2: What do you t felix mathematics?
- 3:05Speaker 5: Yeah, like.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Social studies.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Does my running joke at school whenever I make a mistake,
- 3:13Speaker 4: come better man?
- 3:16Speaker 1: And then you proved it. So overall I think, did
- 3:19Speaker 1: you have fun?
- 3:21Speaker 5: It was good?
- 3:22Speaker 3: It was super fun.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Nice.
- 3:24Speaker 3: We got pizza and oh pizza. Yeah. There's a lot
- 3:29Speaker 3: of people for other tournaments there actually, but it was good.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:33Speaker 3: First place got a bo like eight packs or something.
- 3:37Speaker 6: Yeah, would you guys a bunch of promo packs like yeah,
- 3:43Speaker 6: and then he hadn't gotten in the championship stuff yet.
- 3:48Speaker 3: But when he gets it in, I'll get my h
- 3:50Speaker 3: my foiled Tumult cards and my Muna leaders card sing yeah,
- 3:57Speaker 3: my Moona Scout card.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Nice? So'd you just saying? Did you crack those bad
- 4:02Speaker 1: boys yet?
- 4:05Speaker 3: All the packs? Yeah, I opened all of them. I
- 4:07Speaker 3: did not get any uniques I really liked. But someone
- 4:10Speaker 3: else actually got a pretty solid Moona unique that I
- 4:13Speaker 3: ended up buying from him for twenty bucks.
- 4:15Speaker 1: So that's the thing, and that would be.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I sent it to Cole. Let me grab it all.
- 4:24Speaker 2: What was the what was the hero breakdown for all
- 4:27Speaker 2: seven post year it was Yeah.
- 4:31Speaker 4: It was one off on Us, one Wrin, one Fen,
- 4:35Speaker 4: one Bassira, one Subash, and two tages.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Was it just two tages?
- 4:42Speaker 5: Yeah? Yeah?
- 4:44Speaker 2: Nice. So you had some competition for the moona Scout.
- 4:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:50Speaker 3: My final game, I was up against another person that
- 4:53Speaker 3: was also one in one with a Tasia build. He
- 4:56Speaker 3: actually ran Hydrosinas, but we never got to that point
- 4:59Speaker 3: because I won the day that we got to seven
- 5:01Speaker 3: Manna nice. There were no artists, yeah, no artist decks.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, same as my event.
- 5:10Speaker 1: No artists, no ortists. It's almost like the sun car
- 5:14Speaker 1: or something.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Well, I don't know. I think either you really like
- 5:24Speaker 2: ortists and you're gonna go to represent artists, or you
- 5:29Speaker 2: don't really care about artists and you're gonna go to win,
- 5:33Speaker 2: so you'll just play a fauness or Kojo or something.
- 5:40Speaker 2: But it's the idea of the event is to go
- 5:45Speaker 2: out to represent the faction that you rep but obviously
- 5:50Speaker 2: people want to go out just to win.
- 5:52Speaker 3: So wow, Sammy actually did change factions last minute. I
- 5:58Speaker 3: think he was originally going to go something else, but
- 6:00Speaker 3: then he switched and he was gonna go a faunus originally,
- 6:03Speaker 3: but then he switched to Basira since he saw that
- 6:05Speaker 3: nobody else was running uh no one else was running Bravos,
- 6:09Speaker 3: and he ended up getting second place with that pretty
- 6:11Speaker 3: good bassira build.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Nice What did? What did you run, Felix?
- 6:18Speaker 7: I ran the fen with a bunch of last minute
- 6:21Speaker 7: changes I should not have done.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Don't tell me you put eighth shard in?
- 6:27Speaker 5: No, I was tempted to.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Uh so you gotta put I think.
- 6:33Speaker 5: I put a Kodama in there. I tried the rare
- 6:37Speaker 5: a capella training, which did something.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Surprisingly is always good, except for when it's eighth shard.
- 6:48Speaker 5: I should have put it in there.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Drawing cards cheaply is always good. Let me rephrase that, are.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Gonna spend five man? I better be for more than
- 6:58Speaker 2: one card?
- 6:59Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:59Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what I did online. And I had like
- 7:03Speaker 5: thirteen cards at the other game.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Only thirteen?
- 7:09Speaker 5: Only thirteen and thin.
- 7:10Speaker 1: With scrub What are you doing with? I'm actually I
- 7:18Speaker 1: just you know what. Here's here's the thing I'm gonna say.
- 7:21Speaker 1: So let's get into this right, let's get into this
- 7:24Speaker 1: whole article. Big news. Does every somebody want to reveal
- 7:30Speaker 1: what the big news is?
- 7:34Speaker 5: The market?
- 7:36Speaker 1: There? Wow, the market is here. Marketplace is available to everyone.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Almost everyone is yes, most places, I guess will say
- 7:53Speaker 1: that the marketplace is open. I'm not going to go
- 7:59Speaker 1: through the list of eligible countries. It's a lot. You'll
- 8:02Speaker 1: know if you have it. Now. Here's one thing I
- 8:06Speaker 1: am going to say, a whole altered, like the website
- 8:12Speaker 1: you use and all that jazz. They it's kind of
- 8:15Speaker 1: almost a social media ish type deal, right, Notifications really
- 8:22Speaker 1: needs to be on top. I haven't checked my notifications
- 8:25Speaker 1: and for ever. There's people in here who have like
- 8:29Speaker 1: tried to be my friend, and a lot of them.
- 8:33Speaker 1: If you're one of them that tried to be my friend,
- 8:35Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I had no idea that this existed. I mean,
- 8:40Speaker 1: I knew friends existed, but I didn't think I had
- 8:42Speaker 1: any It's.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Okay, it was just people trying to trade shark.
- 8:48Speaker 1: You probably, yeah, but I was like, holy like I'm
- 8:52Speaker 1: clicking around in here, right, and the biggest thing that
- 8:57Speaker 1: I kind of took away from the article, so I
- 8:59Speaker 1: don't know, we really want to go over the entire article.
- 9:01Speaker 1: It's a long.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's a bunch of fluff too, which very
- 9:08Speaker 2: nice things said in here, but there isn't anything super
- 9:14Speaker 2: pertinent that we would have to tell you.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean some of the some of the interesting things.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I want to note. They do have a whole section
- 9:23Speaker 1: a technical challenge like no other, which boy howdy, I
- 9:27Speaker 1: do not.
- 9:30Speaker 5: I do.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I don't want to say I do not blame them,
- 9:32Speaker 1: but like I do not envy them. There we go.
- 9:34Speaker 1: That's the word I'm looking for. This had to be
- 9:37Speaker 1: a logistical nightmare. Yeah, just like absolutely atrocious, right, like
- 9:45Speaker 1: just the buy the cell and especially like today, right
- 9:51Speaker 1: like just with where we are with like and I
- 9:53Speaker 1: guess maybe not so much. Print on demand might be
- 9:57Speaker 1: even more of a nightmare marketplace, not so much. I
- 10:01Speaker 1: was like tariffs had he gotta so on and so forth.
- 10:05Speaker 1: But that's more print on demand that's going to be
- 10:09Speaker 1: a nightmare, Like an absolute nightmare. This is also a
- 10:13Speaker 1: nightmare because you do have different people trading all over
- 10:18Speaker 1: the world with each other trying to convert currency in
- 10:22Speaker 1: real time. Quite gross.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Like it is very ambitious, and.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I would not have blamed them if they were like, yeah,
- 10:37Speaker 1: it can't be done. It was a lot simpler three
- 10:39Speaker 1: years ago, but now we've found it. It just can't happen.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, like I said, I'm like you said, I'm
- 10:45Speaker 2: sure it has gotten a lot harder over the last
- 10:48Speaker 2: couple of months, because even if you're just doing things digitally,
- 10:55Speaker 2: like currencies have been in flux, you know, like a
- 10:59Speaker 2: lot of systems will build themselves off of the USD,
- 11:04Speaker 2: but that is kind of messed up right now. Relations
- 11:09Speaker 2: with you know, other countries is messed up. So I'm
- 11:13Speaker 2: sure it affects all sorts of stuff with the print
- 11:18Speaker 2: on demand. That is one good thing to know that
- 11:21Speaker 2: I didn't add in the notes because it wasn't really
- 11:27Speaker 2: pointed out in the article. But if you have placed
- 11:31Speaker 2: in order for print on demand during the beta, it
- 11:34Speaker 2: said that the printing would be four twenty nine, that
- 11:39Speaker 2: has been updated to five thirteen. And I'm sure you know,
- 11:46Speaker 2: like you said, things going on right now, probably didn't
- 11:51Speaker 2: didn't have nothing to do with that light changing date.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, probably had nothing to do.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I said, I said, you didn't not did did it not?
- 12:07Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 12:07Speaker 1: You do whatever you do the math out there.
- 12:12Speaker 5: Don't let Felix do it though exactly that's right.
- 12:17Speaker 1: It'll make you lose by two points anyway. But key
- 12:22Speaker 1: points from the takeaways these are coals takeaways, and I
- 12:26Speaker 1: think they're pretty much the best takeaways we got from it.
- 12:30Speaker 1: More countries coming soon, so if you weren't in the
- 12:33Speaker 1: first round of countries, you might be in the next
- 12:35Speaker 1: round or the next round of the next round. Again,
- 12:39Speaker 1: I can't stress enough how much of a logistical nightmare
- 12:44Speaker 1: this has to be, Like, it just has to be
- 12:47Speaker 1: absolutely bananas.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Yeah, good example. We have a lot of people we
- 12:55Speaker 2: know in the community that are in Switzerland and it's
- 12:59Speaker 2: not of available in Switzerland yet, and it's an ongoing
- 13:03Speaker 2: thing they've been working on. And a big part of
- 13:07Speaker 2: it is the different currency, different taxes. A lot of
- 13:12Speaker 2: people might think that Switzerland is on the euro or whatever.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Uh they are not. Uh they are not technically part
- 13:23Speaker 2: of the EU. So you know, everyone in America is
- 13:29Speaker 2: on USD so that gets all of US. Canada's got
- 13:34Speaker 2: the Canadian dollar, and then the EU has their squid money,
- 13:41Speaker 2: but like Switzerland and some of those other places are
- 13:44Speaker 2: not on that. So it's I call quid squid.
- 13:50Speaker 8: Squid money, yep, sip money because it's it's quid, got it?
- 13:56Speaker 8: So yeah, never mind, sorry, just automatically, my bad, everyone
- 14:04Speaker 8: automatically I went to you guys ever watched The Mandalorian?
- 14:08Speaker 8: Yes I have, yeah, yeah, any and season season two
- 14:12Speaker 8: he plays in the I forget what it's called, but
- 14:15Speaker 8: it's the Montclamari currency.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I can only pay in blah blah blah. And it
- 14:21Speaker 1: was like little blue round pucks. That's funny.
- 14:25Speaker 2: That's what they That's what they use in the you
- 14:28Speaker 2: from what.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I understood, that's now, that's the old that's images forever
- 14:31Speaker 1: in my head. They did improve the filter navigation. Tell
- 14:37Speaker 1: me a little bit about that. You can tell me it,
- 14:40Speaker 1: but I don't believe it because I don't see it.
- 14:44Speaker 2: It's one of the things they're working on next, improved
- 14:48Speaker 2: filter and navigation. Listen this, this is when I pull
- 14:54Speaker 2: out my my box. I understand that people want to
- 14:59Speaker 2: search by very specific, unique lines of text. I get it,
- 15:07Speaker 2: but I also think people are not really putting much
- 15:10Speaker 2: thought into using the filters that are in place. So
- 15:15Speaker 2: for now, what I will suggest is, if you're looking
- 15:20Speaker 2: for a unique, you most likely have something in mind,
- 15:25Speaker 2: which is also why you want to have the very
- 15:28Speaker 2: specific line of text search. I also think you probably
- 15:33Speaker 2: have a mana cost that you're willing to associate to it,
- 15:37Speaker 2: and then a dollar amount and most of the time
- 15:43Speaker 2: a faction. And if you think just a little bit more,
- 15:47Speaker 2: there are certain characters that you would want the unique
- 15:51Speaker 2: to be on, because there are certain characters you don't
- 15:55Speaker 2: actually want unique of because you want the three rares
- 15:58Speaker 2: or the three commons in your day instead. So if
- 16:02Speaker 2: you add all of those into the filters, it will
- 16:05Speaker 2: be a lot easier of a time than scrolling through
- 16:10Speaker 2: fifty pages of uniques. So definitely start with that. But
- 16:15Speaker 2: they did call out improved filters and navigation through the market,
- 16:21Speaker 2: and the website in general is on their list, and
- 16:24Speaker 2: I think from the service they put out, it's probably
- 16:27Speaker 2: the thing that people voted for most being the most important.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I'm just thinking right now, and again, if you've ever
- 16:36Speaker 1: been in tech, like you realize what like a huge
- 16:39Speaker 1: undertaking this whole thing probably was. And I on Arkan's corner,
- 16:47Speaker 1: Drafscorps works, he's like he works on tech. He's like
- 16:50Speaker 1: a tech supervisor, and his thing about tech is any
- 16:55Speaker 1: you know, especially with coding and anything anything as possible.
- 17:01Speaker 1: It's just how much you want to spend on it. Now,
- 17:07Speaker 1: put that into like the amount of work that probably
- 17:10Speaker 1: went into this like how much money was put into this.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I think that.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Definitely a ton of man hours for sure.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I think that kickstarter money gone. That's that's all.
- 17:22Speaker 3: I know.
- 17:23Speaker 1: It's got to be gone.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Do you think all of the Kickstarter money's gone? They're
- 17:29Speaker 3: still selling product too.
- 17:31Speaker 1: But between the marketplace and print on demand and what
- 17:34Speaker 1: they're trying to do for print on demand, that money's
- 17:37Speaker 1: got to be gone. Dude.
- 17:38Speaker 7: Yeah, like you started specifically, I believe so, i'd he'surpresive
- 17:41Speaker 7: it wasn't.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yeah, not to mention, as we've already stated, the whole
- 17:49Speaker 2: world is in a financial bind. And while Asthma Day
- 17:56Speaker 2: is a big.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Company, any thing to help fund this.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's what I'm saying. Okay, Like they're they're
- 18:06Speaker 2: not like the type of relationship where Equinox can go
- 18:11Speaker 2: and just like dig in Asthmade's podects.
- 18:14Speaker 1: We need a little chatter, all right, you know, I
- 18:16Speaker 1: got you.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Yeah, Equinox's team I think is twenty people are less
- 18:23Speaker 2: and I'm not sure if all of them are technically
- 18:26Speaker 2: even full time.
- 18:27Speaker 3: So I want even are tech people?
- 18:30Speaker 2: Do you know?
- 18:32Speaker 5: Uh?
- 18:33Speaker 3: On the marketplace stuff.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I'll tell you this much, not as many as you
- 18:36Speaker 1: want it to be.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I only know two, but I don't think it
- 18:41Speaker 2: could be It could be others, you know, Okay, I
- 18:45Speaker 2: think multiple hats kind of deal.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Cost sharing. Tell us a little bit about the cost sharing.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Oh what was that note that I put in? I
- 18:58Speaker 2: accidentally hit a button my mouse and navigate it out
- 19:01Speaker 2: of the article.
- 19:04Speaker 5: It was.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, yeah, I remember. It is ways for
- 19:11Speaker 2: people to like bundle together orders, whether it be a
- 19:16Speaker 2: group yeah, or with your friends, so that if you
- 19:21Speaker 2: only want one pack of cards, you're not paying the
- 19:25Speaker 2: high dollar for that pack, because the more cards you order,
- 19:29Speaker 2: the cheaper each card is. So this is this is
- 19:33Speaker 2: on the list of things that they're looking to improve next.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Ye got it.
- 19:39Speaker 3: And also in stores as well, so you can get
- 19:43Speaker 3: a whole bunch of packs delivered to a store at
- 19:45Speaker 3: the same time, so it's cheaper overall for each individual
- 19:48Speaker 3: person that does it.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Yep, yeah, I mean that makes sense, right if they're
- 19:51Speaker 1: able to ship it all at once, like, it just
- 19:54Speaker 1: makes their lives easier more than likely, as opposed to
- 19:57Speaker 1: trying to print all of all of dexters cards.
- 20:00Speaker 7: Got that fucking little and that is straight just directly
- 20:04Speaker 7: to his home.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Little blonde asshole. I can't deal with him anymore.
- 20:10Speaker 5: Through ups.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, yes, but we used to do Unique
- 20:16Speaker 1: of the Week. Well before we move on out of that,
- 20:20Speaker 1: is there anything else we wanted to get out of
- 20:21Speaker 1: the article that was about it? Like, it's not a
- 20:24Speaker 1: very long article. I don't know if there's a ton
- 20:28Speaker 1: Like I guess the most valid information really Number one,
- 20:32Speaker 1: set up your wallet. You have to do some work
- 20:34Speaker 1: to set up your wallet, which is going to be
- 20:37Speaker 1: a pain in the ass for me. I already found out.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Thank you, my terrible addressing.
- 20:45Speaker 5: You the exact problem.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you still use old fire code addresses.
- 20:50Speaker 5: No, not that bad.
- 20:52Speaker 7: But for some reason, I think I mentioned it earlier
- 20:55Speaker 7: that when I try to connect my car, specifically, there's
- 20:59Speaker 7: discrepancy between my.
- 21:00Speaker 5: Address from the bank and from VISAM.
- 21:04Speaker 7: The bank says everything is fine, Visa says we can't
- 21:09Speaker 7: do anything.
- 21:09Speaker 2: I'm yeah, I guess. I guess that is a good
- 21:13Speaker 2: thing to note, because since I am on the discords
- 21:19Speaker 2: far too long, it seems like VISA is giving the
- 21:23Speaker 2: most trouble.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Into a lot of issues.
- 21:25Speaker 7: Yeah, and let's write a MasterCard and that worked just fine.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Yeah, from what I have heard from people is you
- 21:34Speaker 2: have to call Visa directly and ask them to allow
- 21:37Speaker 2: the charge, because a lot of people's banks were like,
- 21:41Speaker 2: we're not we're not blocking it. And then someone found
- 21:44Speaker 2: out that it was Visa directly that.
- 21:48Speaker 1: I know exactly what you're talking about.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Yeah I don't, is why don't they Just at least
- 21:57Speaker 2: ten people have called Visa in about this Visa just
- 22:01Speaker 2: like I mean, I know why.
- 22:04Speaker 1: But you know, just well hold on, hold on, so
- 22:11Speaker 1: again this this I know exactly what this is. I
- 22:13Speaker 1: actually just went through this and it actually had nothing
- 22:19Speaker 1: to do with actual Visa or our end or this
- 22:23Speaker 1: person's end or whatever the case may be. What it
- 22:26Speaker 1: is is somewhere in the coating, right, and it's just
- 22:31Speaker 1: it's probably nobody's fault, but somewhere in the coating there
- 22:36Speaker 1: is something going on that when it sends the ping
- 22:40Speaker 1: to the account, it like comes up and it pings
- 22:45Speaker 1: as a fraudulent charge. It's just somewhere in a coating.
- 22:48Speaker 1: So Visa has oh boy, don't use Visa so that
- 22:54Speaker 1: well you laugh, but like I highly doubt so. Like
- 22:58Speaker 1: there was this whole thing and a lot of retailers
- 23:00Speaker 1: actually had to deal with it. It was just something
- 23:04Speaker 1: in the coding that when it charged like it would
- 23:06Speaker 1: come back as fraudulent, it would deny, it would decline it.
- 23:10Speaker 1: And it's like, it's it's nothing like malicious or anything
- 23:14Speaker 1: like that. It's just there's you know a zero war
- 23:16Speaker 1: one should be or you know whatever, whatever the case
- 23:19Speaker 1: may be. Right, Like, it's just there's something in it,
- 23:22Speaker 1: and it pings, and whoever they're going through, whether it's
- 23:26Speaker 1: bad old coating or whatever, it's just telling. It's telling
- 23:33Speaker 1: it's a fraudulent charge.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Something that I think is might be an issue.
- 23:38Speaker 7: The fact that when you set out the wallet, the
- 23:42Speaker 7: application automatically sets it the default, the closest one that
- 23:46Speaker 7: they can.
- 23:47Speaker 5: Find, really hurts.
- 23:49Speaker 7: So I'm wondering if it's at least for me, it's
- 23:52Speaker 7: a ZIP kill thing because it automatically the fault to
- 23:54Speaker 7: the what ten nine digit DIP code, and at the
- 23:59Speaker 7: same time time it changes my street address a little bit,
- 24:03Speaker 7: so for example, it doesn't right road as an RD,
- 24:06Speaker 7: it wrights road as r O A D, and that
- 24:10Speaker 7: doesn't match the same worrying that it is in the bank.
- 24:14Speaker 2: That's interesting, but your case might be different. Felix specifically
- 24:20Speaker 2: because I'm pretty sure it was a guy trying all
- 24:24Speaker 2: Visa directly and found out it was Visa specifically blocking
- 24:28Speaker 2: the charge before it even went.
- 24:30Speaker 5: To his bank.
- 24:32Speaker 1: H Yeah. And everybody has those filters in there, right,
- 24:37Speaker 1: everybody's got those like fail safe filters, so nobody can
- 24:41Speaker 1: get in your stuff, right, And it's one of those
- 24:43Speaker 1: fail safe filters kicking in and going ah and just
- 24:46Speaker 1: boots it back.
- 24:49Speaker 9: I just I just had a support ticket about maybe
- 24:52Speaker 9: allowing us to maybe to like a specific address because
- 24:56Speaker 9: we can't edit the address that they choose for us.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, because I just set up my I hadn't
- 25:05Speaker 1: even connected my card yet as we speak, I'm still
- 25:08Speaker 1: trying to set up my wallet because my city, you
- 25:11Speaker 1: still uses old fire code addresses, So I have an
- 25:14Speaker 1: N and a W in my address.
- 25:19Speaker 3: What are you telling people?
- 25:21Speaker 5: I'm not telling you remember that last time.
- 25:25Speaker 1: And lots of like Amazon does not like that, so
- 25:31Speaker 1: you have to like go around it.
- 25:35Speaker 3: So I'm.
- 25:37Speaker 5: Utah.
- 25:38Speaker 2: So Utah is built on a grid, So that's how
- 25:39Speaker 2: old addresses are in Utah.
- 25:41Speaker 1: With NS and w's like old fire code addresses.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 2: So like my my address growing up was like forty
- 25:50Speaker 2: four sixty six South. I mean technically, oh.
- 25:53Speaker 1: No, no, no, no no, So so I'm not going
- 25:55Speaker 1: to use my address, but like our addresses here will
- 26:00Speaker 1: be like and ninety nine W one two seven one
- 26:06Speaker 1: six Main Street, Main Street, Milwaukee, you know, whatever, whatever, whatever, whatever.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's a little different.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah, So it's not because everywhere else, like like my
- 26:20Speaker 1: work address where I work is sixty five seventy four
- 26:23Speaker 1: North seventy sixth Street. Yeah, that's that's a normal, that's common, right,
- 26:29Speaker 1: But like every time, like I'll literally be on the
- 26:32Speaker 1: phone with like people now, I mean this is years
- 26:35Speaker 1: ago now, because Amazon's figured it out by now. They've
- 26:38Speaker 1: delivered me enough packages. They're just like, that's not an address.
- 26:43Speaker 1: We're like, yeah, but it is. That's it's mine. So
- 26:51Speaker 1: it's a little bananas and it hasn't liked it yet.
- 26:54Speaker 1: But I did just use the one I normally use
- 26:58Speaker 1: for Amazon, and it worked just fine.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I Mean, one other thing worth mentioning for the marketplace
- 27:03Speaker 3: is that it is still technically a beta and that
- 27:06Speaker 3: they're still gonna be bugs. So if you run into.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Those, just like bitching God put this.
- 27:13Speaker 3: In They put this specifically in the article saying this
- 27:16Speaker 3: is still a beta, there might still be bugs now.
- 27:20Speaker 1: That doesn't That doesn't.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Matter to people, matter to me people. You're right, but
- 27:26Speaker 2: it should.
- 27:27Speaker 1: You can't put up a disclaimer and have people think
- 27:31Speaker 1: they're going to and think people are going to be
- 27:33Speaker 1: okay with it. Who are you?
- 27:36Speaker 3: Like?
- 27:36Speaker 1: I knew, I knew immediately. I'm like I just and
- 27:39Speaker 1: even perusing our server and an a normal altered server,
- 27:44Speaker 1: it's just like people just bitching it and it's like, guys,
- 27:47Speaker 1: it's a bit like you remember, like I don't know,
- 27:50Speaker 1: maybe I'm just old enough to remember old school betas
- 27:52Speaker 1: where it's like, yeah, things went wrong and then you
- 27:55Speaker 1: like you reported it to somebody and they're like, oh,
- 27:58Speaker 1: thanks Bud, and then like maybe like three weeks later
- 28:03Speaker 1: there'd be a fix for it. Now it's just like
- 28:06Speaker 1: there's one thing wrong and everyone loses their mind. It's like, dude,
- 28:11Speaker 1: it's still a beta.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's uh. It's really funny because there's something weird
- 28:17Speaker 2: going on with the Adventure Pass right now and people
- 28:23Speaker 2: have gone into the main server to ask about it.
- 28:26Speaker 2: What's really funny though, is four times in a row
- 28:31Speaker 2: someone asked about it, when one message above was someone saying, yes,
- 28:39Speaker 2: look above, it's it's a wide issue, so it's yeah,
- 28:45Speaker 2: it's funny. So yeah, if you're I mean, it's it'll
- 28:48Speaker 2: it'll likely be fixed by the time that you're hearing this.
- 28:52Speaker 2: But if you have zero events, uh, they probably just
- 28:56Speaker 2: need to fix it on Monday when they're back in office.
- 28:58Speaker 1: So one of the bottom portions I did find a
- 29:02Speaker 1: little interesting with opening up the marketplace and print on
- 29:04Speaker 1: demand to all users. The next stempest and can you
- 29:06Speaker 1: improve in these services? Thank you for your feedback. We
- 29:09Speaker 1: have a clear vision of the elements we can improve
- 29:11Speaker 1: in the short and medium term, including but not limited
- 29:14Speaker 1: to opening the marketplace. I shuld put in demand services
- 29:18Speaker 1: to countries that do not have access, allowing players to
- 29:21Speaker 1: share their purchases in order to lower some of the fees,
- 29:24Speaker 1: proving the filtering systems are allowed to better target the cards.
- 29:26Speaker 1: You're interested in increasing the two hundred and fifty dollars
- 29:30Speaker 1: price ceiling for listing cards? Is there? This one confused
- 29:36Speaker 1: me right.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Now, there's just undred fifty dollars cap, which so you're
- 29:39Speaker 3: cannot you're anything more than two hundred and fifty dollars
- 29:42Speaker 3: just because that's what they did for whatever reason.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Got it.
- 29:46Speaker 3: In the future, they might raise that cap so that
- 29:48Speaker 3: now I can make my unique cost one thousand dollars
- 29:52Speaker 3: and hope someone buys it.
- 29:53Speaker 2: They should keep the cap, keep it.
- 29:55Speaker 3: I agree that they should keep the cap, or at
- 29:58Speaker 3: least like no more than like, I don't know, four
- 30:01Speaker 3: hundred dollars. Maybe is the max.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Should go to Richard. We should go Richard Garfield's idea,
- 30:06Speaker 1: and no cards should cost over twenty dollars.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Oh boy, that would make a lot of people mad.
- 30:13Speaker 3: I think one is even a lot gathering cards because
- 30:16Speaker 3: there's not there's like maybe five uniques ever that have
- 30:20Speaker 3: ever been sold for more than five hundred.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 2: I have no idea they're planning to Yeah, they're planning
- 30:29Speaker 2: to lift the limit. And then there's also technically I
- 30:34Speaker 2: think so because that's what people want, and I mean,
- 30:37Speaker 2: if there's no reason not to, then it's, you know,
- 30:41Speaker 2: give the people what they want. I guess, Yeah, I.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Let the price gougers gouge away.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Yeah, oh shit, because if you think about it, as
- 30:50Speaker 2: long as there's no like legal or fee or digital
- 30:57Speaker 2: issue on Equinox's side, they might as well just lift
- 31:00Speaker 2: the limit so people don't bitch about there being a limit.
- 31:03Speaker 1: It's just like you know, or a being, and stop
- 31:10Speaker 1: trying to sell your high valued cardboard for five hundred dollars.
- 31:13Speaker 1: You twat.
- 31:17Speaker 2: There was one other thing that I wanted to talk about.
- 31:24Speaker 2: I so they've kind of said that it's not on
- 31:27Speaker 2: the app for now. My opinion is it should never
- 31:33Speaker 2: be available on the app.
- 31:35Speaker 5: And I think they mentioned it was not going to
- 31:39Speaker 5: be end up app anyways.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I think worded it. The way they've worded it
- 31:45Speaker 2: is for now, it won't be in the app. And
- 31:50Speaker 2: the reason being is even if it was in the app,
- 31:55Speaker 2: I would highly suggest nobody ever like load money or
- 32:01Speaker 2: buy anything through the app. If you need to have
- 32:06Speaker 2: a story, why just look up Fortnite versus Apple and
- 32:10Speaker 2: everything that came out from that. If it is on
- 32:14Speaker 2: the Apple Store or the Google Store and it charges
- 32:19Speaker 2: money or it takes money or deals with money, then
- 32:23Speaker 2: Apple and Google are going to taken yep cuts and fees.
- 32:29Speaker 1: You got a grease to palms boys.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's not like a small like oh, this
- 32:35Speaker 2: is a one percent processing fee. I think that I
- 32:40Speaker 2: think Apple's was very like awful, like thirty percent.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Apple needs a kidney. Google's gonna at least need a
- 32:52Speaker 1: finger yop.
- 32:54Speaker 2: So yes, do not ask for it to be on
- 32:58Speaker 2: the app, because you should not want that unless you're
- 33:01Speaker 2: an oil baron that can see.
- 33:03Speaker 1: But here's the deal, and you and I both know this, Cole.
- 33:06Speaker 1: We've been around long enough to we know someone's going
- 33:09Speaker 1: to bitch about it.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Oh, they already have, Like I don't know, someone's always
- 33:16Speaker 3: gonna get mad at something, no matter what was this
- 33:20Speaker 3: not here?
- 33:22Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you know what I should I should have.
- 33:26Speaker 2: I mean I shouldn't, but I should also have, like
- 33:30Speaker 2: the stupid thing of the week I read?
- 33:33Speaker 1: We should you read? What stupid thing did you read
- 33:35Speaker 1: this week? I'm interested?
- 33:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I was gonna say, we've already claimed the bad
- 33:44Speaker 2: boys have altered.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Uh so I feel like you claimed that. I don't
- 33:49Speaker 1: know about the rest of us, But I mean we're
- 33:52Speaker 1: already in it, so yolo.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Yeah, let me see if I find it. They basically
- 34:00Speaker 2: I won't say this person's name because that's never any fun.
- 34:07Speaker 2: But market marketplace.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Really sometimes I hate to tell you call I no,
- 34:12Speaker 1: you don't like it, but sometimes it's the most fun.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Yeah, but I can put them on blast and other
- 34:20Speaker 2: people don't need to dog pile.
- 34:22Speaker 1: So fair enough.
- 34:23Speaker 2: It was basically like the marketplace came out and someone
- 34:28Speaker 2: went into the main server and they were like, where
- 34:31Speaker 2: can I dislike this invasive market that they put It's
- 34:36Speaker 2: disgusting that I open a card in my collection to
- 34:39Speaker 2: see info about pricing. So yep, that was one of
- 34:46Speaker 2: the you can't keep everyone happy kind of moments that I.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Know everyone everywhere is begging for the marketplace and like
- 34:56Speaker 3: quitting the game because they're like, the marketplace isn't out yet,
- 34:59Speaker 3: and of course there's other people that are like, now
- 35:02Speaker 3: mad the marketplace is open.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Yep. So, uh, we have a game now, though we
- 35:13Speaker 2: always are Are you ready for the game? I meant
- 35:16Speaker 2: the unique game?
- 35:17Speaker 1: Oh what game are we playing?
- 35:20Speaker 2: So I picked Wookies. So when we get I think, uh.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Because I have been I have been busy this week
- 35:27Speaker 1: and my apologies, Yeah, I'll be busy next week.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Fish fa Karma, Dexter's or Felix is.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Yeah, that was the one that I grabbed.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Yep, So I I picked thet I wanted to find
- 35:44Speaker 2: stuff that was either cool or stupid or just funny.
- 35:48Speaker 2: I think Dexter tried to find something that was actually good.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Such a chad.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I think the otter is a little bit of both. So,
- 36:00Speaker 2: so what it is is we went on the market
- 36:02Speaker 2: and found uniques for five dollars or less, and we're
- 36:06Speaker 2: gonna tell you the ones we found. So mine is
- 36:10Speaker 2: a rap potter order that is four from hand and
- 36:15Speaker 2: four from reserve, and it has stats zero or one
- 36:23Speaker 2: down the line, I think I can post. Oh, I
- 36:26Speaker 2: hate how you can't.
- 36:28Speaker 5: I can post a screenshot.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hard to copy it.
- 36:33Speaker 3: You can write, click, copy paste.
- 36:35Speaker 2: It doesn't work from Google sheets or Google Docs.
- 36:40Speaker 5: I'll post as you can coverture right now.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Google Docs.
- 36:45Speaker 2: This repotter order is from anywhere. Target character in your
- 36:51Speaker 2: other expedition gains two boosts. That is already very good
- 36:57Speaker 2: for five dollars from.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Me wise, it's fine since you know we cost four
- 37:06Speaker 3: and it has zero four one. Now after you get
- 37:09Speaker 3: the two boosts, it's about even. Stat wise, it has
- 37:13Speaker 3: to be target character.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Well if you're yeah, if you're considering the stats it gives.
- 37:18Speaker 2: I'm saying for five dollars, though, after what we've seen
- 37:20Speaker 2: people try to sell in the community discord.
- 37:23Speaker 3: He's there, Yeah, but we're not even.
- 37:25Speaker 2: We're not even done yet from reserve.
- 37:27Speaker 3: You've got some other cool stuff there.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Each player may put a card from their hand in reserve,
- 37:33Speaker 2: which at first Dexter will hate this because it gives
- 37:37Speaker 2: you no I like it.
- 37:39Speaker 3: I actually like each player putting a card from hand
- 37:41Speaker 3: in reserve. Each player drawing one I think normally sucks.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Each player putting a card from hand in reserve. I
- 37:53Speaker 3: think is fine for Muna since Muna has a lot
- 37:55Speaker 3: of cards that you want to see in reserve.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so this is a very ability I have decided,
- 38:04Speaker 2: especially if you're careful about who you use it against. Obviously,
- 38:11Speaker 2: if you are against Yazmir or Lyra, you might think
- 38:16Speaker 2: twice about, you know, using this unique for that, But
- 38:20Speaker 2: a lot of other matchups they will just skip it,
- 38:25Speaker 2: like they just won't do it. So it's a benefit
- 38:27Speaker 2: for you. And then when you play another character in Forrest,
- 38:32Speaker 2: if I have one or more boosts, target character gains
- 38:36Speaker 2: two boosts.
- 38:38Speaker 3: Yes, because if you play this first with it's getting
- 38:41Speaker 3: a boost, and now every other character you play this
- 38:43Speaker 3: turn it's more boosts. I like.
- 38:46Speaker 2: It's a it's a little high cost on on the
- 38:50Speaker 2: man as side and harder to anchor, but it could
- 38:54Speaker 2: be very cool in a Parvadi deck. Yeah, and it
- 39:00Speaker 2: has a whole bunch of text for five dollars. So
- 39:03Speaker 2: that's the one.
- 39:04Speaker 3: It's not doing much for you early game, but once
- 39:06Speaker 3: you get to like, I don't know, turn five, if
- 39:09Speaker 3: you're if you're like close, you can get some good
- 39:11Speaker 3: boost off of that.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and then who felix your next I picked the
- 39:19Speaker 2: Serrunos for Lyra.
- 39:22Speaker 7: Sorry, that was worth That was worth two dollars and
- 39:26Speaker 7: seventy cents.
- 39:27Speaker 3: Okay, did you actually buy it or did you just
- 39:30Speaker 3: pick it?
- 39:31Speaker 5: No?
- 39:31Speaker 3: I didn't buy it, So I'm the only one that
- 39:34Speaker 3: actually bought their card. Is that what I'm hearing?
- 39:36Speaker 5: I think?
- 39:37Speaker 3: So we were supposed to buy the one that we're
- 39:40Speaker 3: talking about.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Why why would I make you buy something for the podcast?
- 39:45Speaker 3: I just it's less than five dollars, It doesn't matter.
- 39:52Speaker 7: But the Serunos is a three hand threes reserve, three forests,
- 39:58Speaker 7: five mountain, three on water, and then it has a dusk.
- 40:03Speaker 7: You can put a car from your hand or reserve,
- 40:04Speaker 7: and if you do you can have a character loose fleeting, which.
- 40:08Speaker 5: Is really weird, and Lyra I don't have I haven't
- 40:13Speaker 5: seen that in Lyra.
- 40:16Speaker 2: May have target. Yeah, you may put a card from Mmm.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:22Speaker 2: I think the fact that it's at dusk makes it.
- 40:26Speaker 2: I don't see how it would be good for anyone in.
- 40:31Speaker 5: Lyra outside of a Roboro's incaster.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Well that's what I was gonna say, is you're able
- 40:39Speaker 2: to solve the cernuinos first and then inc castor right?
- 40:45Speaker 5: Yeah? Because yeah, at does.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Because I yeah, I don't. I don't remember off the
- 40:52Speaker 2: top of my head what ink caster says.
- 40:55Speaker 7: Yes, he casts when it goes through reserve from your expedition.
- 40:59Speaker 7: So this work because as soon as dust hits you
- 41:02Speaker 7: can make it loose fleeting, and then when people go
- 41:05Speaker 7: to rest then you can pick something up.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Interesting. Yeah, I mean it could be fun definitely. Like
- 41:14Speaker 2: you said, stats for two dollars.
- 41:19Speaker 5: Pretty much.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yep, all right, dekster, you've got ready to karma.
- 41:24Speaker 5: Yep.
- 41:24Speaker 3: Mine was three dollars on the dot and I actually
- 41:26Speaker 3: purchased this. So it costs five from hand and then
- 41:29Speaker 3: four from reserve. It is four four to two, and
- 41:34Speaker 3: then it has played from anywhere. If you control two
- 41:37Speaker 3: or more landmarks, I gain two boosts. Otherwise I get
- 41:40Speaker 3: one boost and then it as from hand you can
- 41:43Speaker 3: pay one manna if you do the next permanent you
- 41:45Speaker 3: play this afternoon costs three less. So I think this
- 41:49Speaker 3: is pretty solid in a Sierra landmark spam build, where
- 41:52Speaker 3: if you play it from hand, you pay the one,
- 41:55Speaker 3: so it'll cost six. It'll get the two boosts since
- 41:59Speaker 3: you know you always going to have two landmarks in
- 42:01Speaker 3: your Sierra build because you have so many landmarks, and
- 42:04Speaker 3: then you're already equal on stats there, and then your
- 42:08Speaker 3: next permanent costs three less, so that's super nice. And
- 42:10Speaker 3: then from reserve you can play it for four and
- 42:13Speaker 3: it'll be a six six 's four, which is pretty
- 42:15Speaker 3: solids debts. It's expensive, but I honestly think it's fine
- 42:19Speaker 3: for your Sierra landmark spam.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Like, I don't think I've seen a Vish fora Karma's
- 42:26Speaker 2: unique art yet because it's just not a characterize YE
- 42:31Speaker 2: really been considering, Well, that's kind of what I was
- 42:34Speaker 2: saying on uniques, you know, Vish fora Karma might be
- 42:37Speaker 2: a really good unique to just look at for the
- 42:40Speaker 2: market because nobody is playing that card naturally.
- 42:44Speaker 3: Yeah, no, one regularly is that card.
- 42:47Speaker 7: I tend to look in the marketplace for characters that
- 42:49Speaker 7: generally don't have any ability at all, like sernos and
- 42:54Speaker 7: just seeing what type of abilities it can sometimes have,
- 42:56Speaker 7: and those can thing to be pretty fun.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Yeah, if you want some really fun ones to look at,
- 43:04Speaker 2: definitely look at rip Potter Otters as well. But Wookie,
- 43:08Speaker 2: do you want this magpeing that I got for you?
- 43:12Speaker 1: Yeah? I picked the best one. Thanks cool. It's a
- 43:18Speaker 1: magpen horder. This one's an axiom though, yep so points.
- 43:25Speaker 2: The lyral ones are actually kind of expensive.
- 43:30Speaker 5: There were no cheap I saw magpingham Lyral though. I
- 43:35Speaker 5: think it was like seven.
- 43:37Speaker 7: It was a three three for three three three that
- 43:40Speaker 7: you have two reserves from anywhere. It can exhaust a
- 43:43Speaker 7: cardon reserve. But that was pretty good yea, only talking
- 43:48Speaker 7: about cheap one.
- 43:50Speaker 2: I did not pick a pretty good one though. I
- 43:53Speaker 2: picked a pretty funny one.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Pretty funny one. So he's a character animal pimp that
- 44:00Speaker 1: should be added to his line. I don't know if
- 44:02Speaker 1: that really matters. Three from hand Yeah, pimp, p I
- 44:05Speaker 1: m p pimp. Look at him. He's not all the
- 44:09Speaker 1: things you.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Want for sure to.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Two when played from anywhere if you have two or
- 44:15Speaker 1: more cards in reserve. Target character games. One boost when
- 44:19Speaker 1: played from anywhere. If your reserve is empty, target target
- 44:22Speaker 1: character gains one boost.
- 44:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:28Speaker 1: When played from reserve, if you control a token, you
- 44:31Speaker 1: may exhaust target card and reserve.
- 44:34Speaker 5: I like it.
- 44:35Speaker 3: That's got some things boost, boost, exhaust.
- 44:38Speaker 2: I love how the first two abilities count for each other.
- 44:42Speaker 5: Yeah, I think I was looking at Yeah, that's fine.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Let's put it this way.
- 44:49Speaker 3: You always get one of them.
- 44:50Speaker 1: You always get one. I was just gonna say, you
- 44:52Speaker 1: always get one unless.
- 44:54Speaker 3: You unless one card. In case you get either of.
- 45:01Speaker 1: What of a horrible day that would be?
- 45:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I I have picked up so I did. I
- 45:08Speaker 2: did something kind of dirty just to test it. I
- 45:12Speaker 2: actually really have been a scumbag this week. I need
- 45:15Speaker 2: to go class myself.
- 45:21Speaker 3: No.
- 45:22Speaker 2: So you know how like I'm always harping on people
- 45:26Speaker 2: about time and tournaments, but I won't like time anyone
- 45:32Speaker 2: out where. I won't click the button to like kick them.
- 45:37Speaker 2: There was someone playing a very annoying deck against me
- 45:42Speaker 2: and taking way too much time and it was holding
- 45:46Speaker 2: up the whole tournament.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Hell yeah, Robbie, yep. I just sat.
- 45:53Speaker 2: I just sat on my clock and used my time
- 45:56Speaker 2: and got the win. And then I saw that people
- 46:00Speaker 2: were listing uniques on the market for like very cheap,
- 46:07Speaker 2: and it looked like someone else was buying up all
- 46:11Speaker 2: the cheap ones. Yeah, most likely to resell them. So
- 46:15Speaker 2: I grabbed two that I thought were decent, and I
- 46:21Speaker 2: turned around and put them back on the market for
- 46:23Speaker 2: like five dollars more, just to see if it would work.
- 46:29Speaker 2: They haven't sold yet.
- 46:30Speaker 1: No, I thought you're gonna be like, and it's sold haa.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Like I have.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Flipped a few uniques myself, I will say I'm a
- 46:37Speaker 3: bit of a scumbag.
- 46:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:40Speaker 2: I have a Mouna caregiver that I bought for I
- 46:42Speaker 2: think two dollars. I have it on the market right
- 46:45Speaker 2: now for six fifty. It's two one man acoste from
- 46:54Speaker 2: reserve up to one target plant gains two boosts, and
- 46:58Speaker 2: then it has normal quick action to anchor three or less.
- 47:04Speaker 3: Character dam that seems fine.
- 47:07Speaker 7: Markup Place is turning into the robin Hood of card games.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I just like testing it. I also have a
- 47:17Speaker 2: unique that I have up for too much money, and
- 47:21Speaker 2: I'm like slowly lowering it to kind of see what happens.
- 47:26Speaker 5: But yeah, it's like Dexter's.
- 47:31Speaker 3: I dropped that one to one twenty actually today after
- 47:33Speaker 3: I when I got home at like seven o'clock after
- 47:37Speaker 3: eating dinner, I decided to go through my entire collection
- 47:40Speaker 3: and reorganize my trade bind to reorganize all my other cards,
- 47:45Speaker 3: and then reprice all of my uniques on the marketplace.
- 47:49Speaker 3: So that's why I was a little bit late, because
- 47:51Speaker 3: that took longer than I expected it to.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Let's get into it. Oh, go ahead, go ahead.
- 47:58Speaker 2: I was just gonna say, if you don't have any uniques,
- 48:02Speaker 2: just go to the market built by unique Sort price ascending. Uh,
- 48:06Speaker 2: there are pages of like three dollars uniques you can
- 48:10Speaker 2: check out.
- 48:11Speaker 1: So well, I've just spent my whole check on Magpen Hoarders,
- 48:16Speaker 1: So sorry, kids, if you're looking for them, I own
- 48:21Speaker 1: the mall.
- 48:22Speaker 5: Now.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Oh, all the Lyra ones, I'm sorry, not it. I
- 48:26Speaker 1: don't care about any of the other peasants actions.
- 48:28Speaker 7: From what I saw, most of the cheaper ones, at
- 48:32Speaker 7: least in Lyra were the warden, the Order's warden. There's
- 48:36Speaker 7: so many of them for five bucks, and the cone Man.
- 48:44Speaker 1: I just like Magpen Hoarder. It's my favorite. I don't
- 48:48Speaker 1: know why, I just dig it. Should we get into
- 48:52Speaker 1: some lore yep?
- 48:54Speaker 2: I picked let's do it more just for you.
- 48:56Speaker 1: This is the magpen hoarder's laura. Why does it need
- 48:59Speaker 1: all these things? Might come in handy someday. I wish
- 49:03Speaker 1: it was like more like snarky. He looks like a
- 49:07Speaker 1: snarky penguin, right, And I love the art how it
- 49:09Speaker 1: goes from like he doesn't have a ton of stuff,
- 49:11Speaker 1: but he's got a lot of stuff, and then he's
- 49:13Speaker 1: got more stuff, and then he got all the things.
- 49:16Speaker 3: Yes, everything is all the things.
- 49:19Speaker 1: It should be like, why does why does it need
- 49:22Speaker 1: all these things? Because he ain't broke bitch like or
- 49:26Speaker 1: something like that. I don't know that was bad, don't
- 49:29Speaker 1: that was a bad one. I don't like that one.
- 49:30Speaker 1: I'll come up with something better. But it would just
- 49:33Speaker 1: you know, it would be that be if it was
- 49:35Speaker 1: a little bit more snarky.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Why does it need all these? Because he got it
- 49:40Speaker 2: from your mom's closet?
- 49:41Speaker 1: Nice? I like it, stamp and printed it, send it away.
- 49:47Speaker 1: While exploring among the foliage, I discovered something else. Large
- 49:51Speaker 1: web depaw prints the distance between each step, suggesting the
- 49:56Speaker 1: owner of these feet must be pretty big. I follow
- 49:59Speaker 1: that as I continue to hunt, lost in thought, the
- 50:03Speaker 1: wind carries a whistle to me, a warbling to more precise,
- 50:07Speaker 1: warbling to be more precise. It's rhythmic, very repetitive, like
- 50:12Speaker 1: a tune you might hum nonchalantly while doing something else.
- 50:16Speaker 1: A feeling of satisfaction emanates from this stunned melody, a
- 50:21Speaker 1: declaration of joy. I'm move closer to the source of
- 50:24Speaker 1: the sound. Crowbar covers me from the rear. Of course,
- 50:29Speaker 1: hidden behigh. I said that all wrong. Crowbar covers me
- 50:32Speaker 1: from the rear. Of course they could have done better there.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Hidden behind a barrier of snow covered fir trees, I
- 50:39Speaker 1: finally see a sort of clearing, strewn with all sorts
- 50:43Speaker 1: of odds and ends. A jubble of item lies on
- 50:46Speaker 1: the ground, a bucket with binoculars inside a flashlight, A
- 50:50Speaker 1: pile of books with a mug on top. Taking stock
- 50:53Speaker 1: of everything feels like an ortis nursery rhyme. It makes
- 50:58Speaker 1: my head spin, But it's not garage dump. All the
- 51:01Speaker 1: items are in perfect condition. And besides, and besides, I
- 51:06Speaker 1: recognize some of them. These headphones, that's Tamati's. It was
- 51:11Speaker 1: stolen from the camp a couple of days ago. One, two, three, four.
- 51:16Speaker 1: Things with horror I realized that this is a thief
- 51:19Speaker 1: sten and then I see his strange figure entering the clearing.
- 51:23Speaker 1: It was an elegant cross between a magpie and a penguin.
- 51:27Speaker 1: Clearing clearly pleas for himself. He waddles around, carrying on
- 51:31Speaker 1: his pack back, carrying on his back a pack filled
- 51:35Speaker 1: with items as debt despair. I need to make this bigger. Sorry,
- 51:42Speaker 1: I'm using new monitors again. As you can tell, where
- 51:46Speaker 1: did I leave despair it as he's strewn across the ground.
- 51:50Speaker 1: He's even wearing a hat I remember from another expedition,
- 51:54Speaker 1: and I'm confident its owners didn't have webbed feet and
- 51:57Speaker 1: an orange beak. He probably just dumped off his plunder
- 52:02Speaker 1: from his latest salute run. I look at what he's carrying,
- 52:05Speaker 1: cartographer's papers, chocolate eggs. No, he's also got the rolled
- 52:10Speaker 1: pin that Hastilla uses. How will she make those delicious cookies? Now,
- 52:17Speaker 1: So you're telling me the magpie horders are jawas.
- 52:22Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty much. They're a little bit bigger probably, and
- 52:29Speaker 3: you can actually see their face.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Yeah, Cole leave, Oh I like this.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Oh I was muted.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Yes, you were muted. So magpie Horner, they're just Jawas.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Yeah, they're you know, just getting things that people don't
- 52:47Speaker 2: really want.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Clearly, if somebody wanted all these things and they're just
- 52:51Speaker 1: taking them, that is fantastic. I love them even more now.
- 52:57Speaker 7: Yeah, character, but I can't think of any.
- 53:03Speaker 1: I just again, this takes me back to the Kenobi.
- 53:06Speaker 1: I watch a lot of Star Wars. I don't know
- 53:08Speaker 1: if anybody knew that, but I watched a lot of
- 53:09Speaker 1: Star Wars, and I know right with the name of
- 53:13Speaker 1: the Wookie, you know, you know where the Jawa comes
- 53:17Speaker 1: into Obi. Wan's like little rock enclosure where he's living,
- 53:21Speaker 1: and he's like, if you're going to sell sell back
- 53:23Speaker 1: the parts you steal from me, could you at least
- 53:25Speaker 1: clean them first?
- 53:27Speaker 5: Oh?
- 53:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh. One thing that stood out to me, uh
- 53:33Speaker 2: was they mentioned Hestia, who will be a card in
- 53:39Speaker 2: next set Whispers from the Mace. So that's cool.
- 53:42Speaker 3: How do you know that.
- 53:44Speaker 2: She is the one cooking in the middle of the
- 53:47Speaker 2: Bravos triptych.
- 53:50Speaker 3: I know that she is the Daughters of the Campfire,
- 53:54Speaker 3: That she's.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Than you, He is better than you, is better than you.
- 53:59Speaker 3: We know that.
- 54:01Speaker 2: How do we know that Hestia is Hestia? We've also
- 54:04Speaker 2: already went over this on our own podcast.
- 54:10Speaker 3: We didn't say that she was the one in the
- 54:12Speaker 3: trip ticks, did we?
- 54:14Speaker 2: Yes, we went over. We went over everything that was
- 54:20Speaker 2: revealed so far, Hestia, the red Panda.
- 54:24Speaker 3: The pace that was actually her name in the tript okay,
- 54:29Speaker 3: I see gotcha. Yeah, I do like the middle one
- 54:31Speaker 3: and the of Bravo Scotcha.
- 54:33Speaker 1: I am a big fan of the Red pandas.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Also back to those uh tryptics that reveal article. It's
- 54:42Speaker 2: been funny to uh be see people be wrong about
- 54:47Speaker 2: data lists. Data list is lyra yep. And I gotta
- 54:54Speaker 2: say suck it to everyone else who said I was wrong,
- 54:58Speaker 2: because I think earlier today Loki all but confirmed it.
- 55:03Speaker 3: So, I mean, it's understandable that people were thinking that's
- 55:07Speaker 3: that it's axiom. But who else would the staff the
- 55:10Speaker 3: SAP sniffer be in, Like, it's got to be one
- 55:12Speaker 3: of each faction. Come on, guys, process of elimination.
- 55:15Speaker 1: Cocaine. That's all I know, right, cocaine. And if Cole's
- 55:20Speaker 1: taught me anything cocaine, I agree.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Just got a box box fet full of Cuban links.
- 55:35Speaker 1: All right, events Ace every Sunday Night Championship will be
- 55:42Speaker 1: May eighteenth.
- 55:44Speaker 3: We're getting close.
- 55:45Speaker 1: I think I'll be at a Vault tour that day.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Which one I will be too.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Yeah, you will be will be in rose We will
- 55:58Speaker 1: be in Roseville, Minnesota. Bring bring your altered That'll be

- 56:07Speaker 5: For sure.
- 56:08Speaker 1: Team Malts Austin San Antonio joined the fight.
- 56:12Speaker 2: I think San Antonio's was today, but I think the
- 56:17Speaker 2: one in Austin.
- 56:18Speaker 5: Is May fifth.
- 56:21Speaker 2: They just got it up on the Altered website like
- 56:25Speaker 2: yesterday or the day before, so I'll get I'll get
- 56:29Speaker 2: it down.
- 56:29Speaker 3: One of the people that came into Ages today is
- 56:32Speaker 3: from Austin, and he said that there was May fifth.
- 56:34Speaker 2: So yep, tasty bacon.
- 56:36Speaker 3: Yep, tasty bacon. He came up to Dallas too, right.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Yep, shout out to tasty bacon. I'll be going down
- 56:44Speaker 2: to Austin tomorrow so I'll see all of them as well.
- 56:47Speaker 5: He says he's going to root it as well next week. Nice.
- 56:51Speaker 3: He said that was the plan. He's real dedicated to
- 56:54Speaker 3: traveling a whole bunch. We got our new Ogre.
- 56:58Speaker 5: Man.
- 56:59Speaker 1: I miss Ogre, miss him a lot. Come back Hogar
- 57:04Speaker 1: come back. If all of you are wondering what the
- 57:07Speaker 1: picture is, I just accidentally posted in our in our
- 57:13Speaker 1: chat discord instead of the discord it was supposed to
- 57:17Speaker 1: be in.
- 57:19Speaker 3: Was supposed to be.
- 57:21Speaker 1: So I've got a thing. I am trying to see
- 57:24Speaker 1: how far I could push the limits of the vault
- 57:26Speaker 1: to her before they just boot me. So I plan
- 57:31Speaker 1: on making slidy sleeves that's safe and seeing what happens
- 57:40Speaker 1: because I already made a I already made a ghost
- 57:42Speaker 1: Galaxy sucks ARCon card and that didn't do it, and
- 57:46Speaker 1: they still put me on stream. It was on the stream, No,
- 57:52Speaker 1: they made me flip it around, okay, but they're like, yeah,
- 57:56Speaker 1: we gotta put you. Well I was, I was in
- 57:58Speaker 1: the finals. They had to put me on. So I'm
- 58:03Speaker 1: kind of just wondering, like how far I can push
- 58:05Speaker 1: this At this point, I've got some ideas for some
- 58:10Speaker 1: other tokens that I'm going to be making just to
- 58:13Speaker 1: see how far I can push it. A q Z
- 58:15Speaker 1: A wall and the non unique challenge the nook. I'll
- 58:19Speaker 1: still going strong. I can't call it that. All still
- 58:22Speaker 1: going strong. So make sure you guys check out all
- 58:25Speaker 1: of those and that leads us into our Patreon Question
- 58:30Speaker 1: of the Week with a meta as it is. It's
- 58:33Speaker 1: just from Draconis again. Don't shake your head of me cold,
- 58:36Speaker 1: don't judge me. You to judge me with the meta
- 58:41Speaker 1: as it is right now, who do you feel is
- 58:44Speaker 1: the strongest hero? So right now you know, no winds, right,
- 58:51Speaker 1: no mazing.
- 58:53Speaker 3: With if you have three really good like one or
- 58:57Speaker 3: two cost token makers, Siggy, pretty freaking good. That hasn't changed.
- 59:03Speaker 5: I still think Afanas is better.
- 59:07Speaker 3: That is maybe a valid argument, but uh, I think it.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's an argument between those two, and it's me
- 59:18Speaker 2: over in the corner saying it's actually Finn.
- 59:23Speaker 5: I think Fan is still a pretty good third place.
- 59:27Speaker 3: Eli Fin is real mean, if we're if Eli, we
- 59:32Speaker 3: has a real mean Fin that is super strong, and
- 59:35Speaker 3: that is definitely one of the top builds I think
- 59:38Speaker 3: right now.
- 59:39Speaker 1: I do still have to build a Fen, the new
- 59:41Speaker 1: Fin with the updated set. I haven't done that. Yeah,
- 59:46Speaker 1: I've been a little bit lately.
- 59:49Speaker 2: The Altered TCG blog actually put out a very good
- 59:54Speaker 2: article about the competitive snapshot for March and it broke down.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: Oh that's that's that scared me.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I'm like my daughter is dyeing her hair, Oh what
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: color purple? And her friend.
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: I told you it was a fun.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Us turning into a faunas.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I told you guys, I liked the fun us
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: and the and the the she who will not be named.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so if they.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: He couldn't even do it. Did you all hear that
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: he couldn't even do it. He couldn't bring her, He
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: couldn't even bring himself to say her name. He just
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: moved on like it didn't.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: Even off a cliff so much it did like that's
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: just like it.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: It was like it didn't even happen.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: He just completely ignored it.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: I was such in the middle of finishing my thought
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: that I wasn't even listening to aokie.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: That's not true at all. You are every word he
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: said that.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Was I would not lie to you. But in in March,
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: the Funnest took the most first place. Wins and Fenn
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: and SIGGI are tied for second and third, and then
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Tasia and then Kojo.
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: What about April?
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: It's not out yet? Because April's not over.
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: Yet, dexter, where are you seeing these stunts.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: So alteredtcg dot blog They put a snapshot of march
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: out and it's it's really cool. There's some breakdowns of
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: cards and things like that, and then the hero standings
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: and first place wins, YadA, YadA. I think I'm still
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: gonna say Fenn. I think just not enough people put
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: the time into figuring out and actually playing Fenn.
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: She doesn't require a lot of brain power.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Just say your name once, just one time.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: He's able funnest.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Mm hmmm, uh huh, all right, fine, what Yeah, Dexter's mom.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Dexter's she's a lovely lady. She's a lovely lady.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: You still haven't met her, Wookie, You.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Know I haven't. I've seen pictures.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's a little bit creepy.
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I was thinking I was slightly disturbed there.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Well, I mean when you had the show we did
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: not too long ago, where we spent a whole month
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: talking about Dexter's mom and there's my kids.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: We uh, we don't really ever do guests, but first guests.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: The first guest we ever have absolutely should be Dexter's mom.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: We are not doing that.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: We should you have here?
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: No?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: You, Well, let's take a vote. I vote yes, Felix,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: sure call, I.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Say if she is interested and up for it. She
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: is more than welcome.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Let's do this.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: Tried to teach her how to play key Forge with
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: coded dex and she couldn't figure it out.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Listen, this doesn't happen.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: I don't have my hopes for her with all to.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Not be an episode about Altered.
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: Even the audience is voting for yes.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Yeah see yeah, well yeah, I vote yes. It would
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: never ever ever be about that. It would be all
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: about your mom.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Uh huh yeah?
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: Are we not an Altered podcast?
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I mean if we take one week off, nobody's going
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: to be upset. Nobody listens anyway.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: The two people that I always answer comments from on
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: YouTube might be upset, but maybe they'll be happy to
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: hear the story of Dexter's mom and how it is
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: to live with and raise a card game nerdy see.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: I like these ideas already.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: But ask us questions on Patreon so that Wookie stops
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: giving draconis a hard time for providing all the questions.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: It also helps pay for our website and the tournaments
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: and things like that, so we appreciate it. I am
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: not sure I'm going to do an ACE season four yet,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: just based on there's a lot of online tournaments. Now
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: a couple of them have kind of taken off, so
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: my focus on those. But I do have an idea
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: for a gauntlet that I will probably run after season
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: three and then we'll go from there.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: So well, we get a lot of comments. I never
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: actually looked. We get lots of We get lots of
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: comments in our videos. Huh, I knew, well.
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: This Cole actually checks them.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Somebody's got to all right, But thank you all for listening.

- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Imagination is a good one too. I feel like me
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: and I feel like should do like a paid an
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: episode about Magie Nation.
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: Probably go for it.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Oh man, Like that whole episode gave me just a
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: case of the nostalgia, and I like spent like the
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: next week e baying Magi Nation cards like you're doing everything,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: holding back to not buy a bunch because I'm just like,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: who am I gonna play with? Like a story to
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: play with? Then then then you know, now I'm thinking
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: about it. Is there a Magi Nation online play? I
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: bet you there is? Oh my god, there is? Oh
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: oh wait, that's not definitely hold on Magi Nation. Actually

- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Is that they do it? I know we've asked us.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: They're doing some stuff over that packs right.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Yes, shoot, I think the events are actually up now.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: But for the sake of this episode and the sake
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: of next episode, we will talk about it next episode,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: and I'll give you a primer of what to expect
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: at packs. That sounds good.

- 1:08:02Speaker 1: how did I miss this?
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: No, they talked about the Kickstarter a while back.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, and I just never did anything with
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: it that information. Oh it's on tabletop stimulator. I hate
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: tabletop simulator.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: Lookie has lost the plot. I really have everybody, Thanks
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: everybody for coming in.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Sometimes nostalgia just kicks in and you gotta run with it.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: But that'll do it for us this week. This is
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: an altered podcast. Maybe I'll hop on BGG now probably not,
