- 0:09Speaker 1: it means the world to us. Anybody here from outside
- 0:13Speaker 1: Rhode Island tonight. Wow. Uh. If you're here from Massachusetts,
- 0:19Speaker 1: give us a woo. Yeah. If you're here from Connecticut,
- 0:24Speaker 1: give us a lou. If you're here from another state,
- 0:27Speaker 1: give us a lou. Whoa over here Texas? You know
- 0:34Speaker 1: you're not here just for us? No they are. Yeah,
- 0:38Speaker 1: it's love birthday, thirtieth birthday. Happy birthday? Is it today? Oh?
- 0:44Speaker 1: My gosh, well, happy birthday. It means the world that
- 0:47Speaker 1: you've chosen to celebrate with us. And how cool of
- 0:50Speaker 1: a spot. How awesome is Audrey's is my first time here? Yeah,
- 0:55Speaker 1: it's really nice in here. Great coffee, so everybody who
- 0:58Speaker 1: is If you don't know why Ben keeps joking about
- 1:03Speaker 1: the coffee we serve his brand of coffee, Generous Coffee.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And I know that a lot of our listening audience
- 1:10Speaker 1: at home, the almost Famous audience, knows a little bit
- 1:12Speaker 1: about Generous Coffee. But I think this would be a
- 1:14Speaker 1: great time for you to remind them where you're you're
- 1:19Speaker 1: basically donating every time you drink a cup of Generous coffee. Yeah,
- 1:23Speaker 1: thank you for that. That's a big deal. Uh, well
- 1:25Speaker 1: big news. As of last week, Audrey's became Generous biggest
- 1:31Speaker 1: purchaser for any wholesale account. Yes, so this place is
- 1:36Speaker 1: rocking and rolling. It's very special to me because it's
- 1:40Speaker 1: given us momentum and encouragement behind the scenes that Generous
- 1:43Speaker 1: were very thankful for Audrey's were very thankful that Ashley
- 1:46Speaker 1: and Jared when they built this beautiful place said Generous
- 1:50Speaker 1: to the coffee company want to go with. So first off,
- 1:52Speaker 1: thank you to them, Thank you this place, thank you
- 1:53Speaker 1: for you, to you for coming in and getting coffee. So,
- 1:58Speaker 1: in short, Generous is a for profit company. We call
- 2:01Speaker 1: ourselves for purpose. We provide specialty grade coffee. So if
- 2:06Speaker 1: anybody leaves a Google review and says the coffee is
- 2:09Speaker 1: not good, you're lying. It is scientifically the best coffee
- 2:13Speaker 1: in the world, and it has made Jared think that
- 2:17Speaker 1: Duncan is less than That is a huge that deserves
- 2:21Speaker 1: an applause. We still love Duncan. We will have it
- 2:26Speaker 1: whenever we're out of this vicinity in Rhode Island. But like, wow,
- 2:30Speaker 1: it's a huge feat to say that Jared has a
- 2:32Speaker 1: new favorite brand of coffee. It means a lot to me.
- 2:34Speaker 1: So here's what how Generous works. Everybody Uh in the
- 2:38Speaker 1: on the ownership team, which there's two of us, we
- 2:41Speaker 1: have other jobs. Part of my job is talking for
- 2:44Speaker 1: a living, which is why I'm here tonight. We're able
- 2:47Speaker 1: to run this company in our free time and then
- 2:52Speaker 1: donate a d percent of the profits from each bag
- 2:54Speaker 1: of coffee sold two nonprofits around the world fighting injustice
- 2:59Speaker 1: facing human So she's right, every time you drink a
- 3:02Speaker 1: cup of coffee, some percentage of that usually tend to
- 3:05Speaker 1: fifteen percent is what we can give away. Uh, from
- 3:08Speaker 1: each bag of coffee sold goes to nonprofits. Now you
- 3:12Speaker 1: just to close here, you're like ten percent. That's a
- 3:16Speaker 1: percent of profits. That's ten to fifteen percent of revenue. Uh.
- 3:20Speaker 1: So we do have to pay for rent, gas oil,
- 3:23Speaker 1: all the things any other business has to pay for.
- 3:25Speaker 1: So allright, we keep our margins about fifteen percent. And
- 3:28Speaker 1: so thank you for buying Generous. You can buy it
- 3:29Speaker 1: online at Generous Coffee dot com. We need more subscribers.
- 3:34Speaker 1: You can get it delivered to your house. We're really
- 3:36Speaker 1: good at that. And uh, as my friend over here
- 3:39Speaker 1: is mentioning. Our decaf is uh decaffeated through a sugarcamee process,
- 3:44Speaker 1: so there's no chemicals at it. So if you're somebody
- 3:47Speaker 1: who sensitive the chemicals, the decaf is really good for
- 3:49Speaker 1: you, you you can get it here tonight. I see it
- 3:51Speaker 1: up on there. But yeah, super pumped about it. Audreys
- 3:54Speaker 1: has a really special place in my heart. I'm very
- 3:56Speaker 1: thankful to be here. Been looking forward to this for
- 3:59Speaker 1: a long time. We're gonna have a lot of fun.
- 4:01Speaker 1: We have some incredible guests, as Ashley mentioned, so let's
- 4:04Speaker 1: get started. All right, Well, let's get started with our
- 4:06Speaker 1: interview with Cassie. Cassie, have you ever been on our podcast?
- 4:10Speaker 1: I think a long time? Was it right after your finality?
- 4:14Speaker 1: I think? So? Okay? Here though, and I love I
- 4:17Speaker 1: love this place. Hi, everyone, she came far and wide
- 4:21Speaker 1: to be here. We're so grateful. She flew from Huntington Beach,
- 4:25Speaker 1: you know, just outside l A, to be here just
- 4:27Speaker 1: for two nights. She loves Rhode Island, guys. I know
- 4:30Speaker 1: everybody in Rhode Island loves to hear that somebody else
- 4:33Speaker 1: loves to say. But it is hard not to love
- 4:35Speaker 1: beautiful Ashley was my tour guide today. We took her.
- 4:38Speaker 1: They got married. We took her on the Ashley Jared
- 4:41Speaker 1: wedding tour. So she went to some of the mansions.
- 4:45Speaker 1: We had lunch of Newports, all that real quick. You
- 4:47Speaker 1: want to know how you know you're beautiful? Um, Cassie
- 4:53Speaker 1: is a story from her flight yesterday. Cassie decides to
- 4:57Speaker 1: leave her computer in her seat on the plane. Didn't
- 5:00Speaker 1: walk off the plane. Okay, she's walking off the plane
- 5:04Speaker 1: and she said it some angel walked up to her
- 5:06Speaker 1: and said, hey, weren't you sitting in seat? And she says,
- 5:12Speaker 1: I was. He goes, they're calling for you left your
- 5:15Speaker 1: computer on the plane. So if any of you ever
- 5:18Speaker 1: have a stranger recognize what seat you're sitting on in
- 5:21Speaker 1: a plane after you've gotten off the plane, I think
- 5:23Speaker 1: it was an angel, you know, but you've got something
- 5:26Speaker 1: going for you. It's never happened to me, but I
- 5:29Speaker 1: look forward to the day Ben's humble. I'm sure something
- 5:32Speaker 1: very similar has happened to him. Okay, So I also,
- 5:37Speaker 1: I don't know why I'm telling everybody your truck. This
- 5:39Speaker 1: girl came and she has two layovers tomorrow on the
- 5:43Speaker 1: way home. Who's never had two layovers. Me, Well, that's
- 5:48Speaker 1: because Ben travels every No one had two layovers. Actually,
- 5:51Speaker 1: I can't remember ever having two layovers. I've never had
- 5:54Speaker 1: two layovers. Okay, okay, Well, Cassie, since you were lost
- 5:59Speaker 1: on our show, it's a lot has happened in your life.
- 6:02Speaker 1: You now have a boyfriend brighton of two years. How
- 6:06Speaker 1: serious are things? It sounds pretty serious. I mean I
- 6:10Speaker 1: feel like time is just flown in the last two years.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I feel like everyone through that too. But I mean, yeah,
- 6:17Speaker 1: I guess we're serious. Do you think he's the one?
- 6:21Speaker 1: I feel like that's such a big question to ask,
- 6:24Speaker 1: but I mean I would I hope. So, Okay, I
- 6:27Speaker 1: think so. Do you think he's planning a proposal? I
- 6:30Speaker 1: feel like you have to ask this because we were
- 6:31Speaker 1: like on the Bachelor Life. Um, we have talked about proposals,
- 6:39Speaker 1: We have talked about rings. Um. I don't think I'm
- 6:44Speaker 1: supposed to know, right, am I supposed to know? You
- 6:46Speaker 1: can lots of different ways about this. I like the
- 6:49Speaker 1: surprise proposal and not really knowing anything about the ring
- 6:53Speaker 1: or the moment. But there's lots of couples. Yeah, I
- 6:56Speaker 1: just don't know how that works. I feel like he
- 6:57Speaker 1: wants me to be surprised. Do you want to be surprised?
- 7:02Speaker 1: I don't know how I feel about it. What kind
- 7:05Speaker 1: of diamond do you want? A very big one? What's
- 7:09Speaker 1: your favorite shape? See? This is what he keeps asking
- 7:14Speaker 1: me that I don't know? Does? He asked her sister.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Ben, I'm just taking over. That's fine. How
- 7:20Speaker 1: do you decide to ring? I feel like it's such
- 7:22Speaker 1: a big decision, you know. So he's like, what shape
- 7:26Speaker 1: do you want? And I changed my mind? I always
- 7:29Speaker 1: hit everybody changes her mind. Whatever you get, you're gonna
- 7:32Speaker 1: like for a bit and you'll love it for what
- 7:34Speaker 1: it is. But then you're gonna be like, ah, I
- 7:36Speaker 1: like that shape, like Changile. The style is always changing,
- 7:40Speaker 1: but eventually your ring will go back into style. I'm fun.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You know. When I was proposing to my wife, I
- 7:48Speaker 1: asked her mom, so you just might want to give
- 7:51Speaker 1: the hint. Like your friends and family do know, and
- 7:54Speaker 1: they probably know you better than you know yourself. Sometimes
- 7:57Speaker 1: when it comes to what you'll like, so I asked,
- 8:00Speaker 1: term it is? It leads us to a great question.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Though obviously we are at least two years removed from
- 8:05Speaker 1: your time on the show, I would say and tell
- 8:09Speaker 1: me if I'm wrong, please, But you're a more private person,
- 8:12Speaker 1: Like you don't just love making headlines and being out
- 8:16Speaker 1: in the spotlight. Uh, you enjoy your life in Huntington
- 8:20Speaker 1: Beach and you enjoy the quietness of your life. Does
- 8:23Speaker 1: the time on the show now feel like a distant
- 8:25Speaker 1: memory to you? Do you feel like it was just
- 8:27Speaker 1: a chapter in a season or does it still feel
- 8:30Speaker 1: very relevant for the life you're living the day. That's
- 8:33Speaker 1: a good question. I don't know. I feel so. I
- 8:36Speaker 1: feel like I took a step back from being like
- 8:40Speaker 1: doing anything kind of for a while. So even being here,
- 8:43Speaker 1: I'm like, oh the nerves being up yourself and I
- 8:47Speaker 1: don't really leave my Huntington's bubble. I kind of just
- 8:51Speaker 1: you know, walk everywhere I go. But I think with Bachelor,
- 8:58Speaker 1: it'll always be a part are you know that we
- 9:01Speaker 1: all know would always kind of be a part of
- 9:03Speaker 1: who we are, And like I still love it, like
- 9:06Speaker 1: I would still be associated or like go on the
- 9:10Speaker 1: show and say hi to everyone and do little things
- 9:13Speaker 1: here and there. For sure. I just think things that
- 9:17Speaker 1: have happened over the last few years made me have
- 9:19Speaker 1: to kind of take a step back from things. So
- 9:23Speaker 1: it just kind of naturally happened. But I am a
- 9:26Speaker 1: very private person. I never considered myself a private person
- 9:29Speaker 1: until I see all you guys doing all these things,
- 9:33Speaker 1: and I'm like, am I a private person? I guess
- 9:36Speaker 1: I am. Well, how did a person like you, who
- 9:49Speaker 1: is a little bit more like into being in their
- 9:53Speaker 1: comfort zone go on The Bachelor? I don't, I don't know.
- 9:59Speaker 1: I did somebody sign you up? I love It's a
- 10:06Speaker 1: really weird story and I've told it before. I don't know.
- 10:09Speaker 1: But one day I woke up and I was like
- 10:11Speaker 1: twenty one, and I had had this vivid dream I
- 10:15Speaker 1: was on The Bachelor, and I was like, I had
- 10:18Speaker 1: never really watched it before. I think your season Ben
- 10:21Speaker 1: was one of the first Yeah, yeah, and then she's
- 10:29Speaker 1: twenty seven now, um, but I like googled it and
- 10:33Speaker 1: there was a casting call in my area, like ten
- 10:35Speaker 1: minutes from my house, and I was like, I'm just
- 10:37Speaker 1: gonna like go, I don't know what this is about.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I didn't even know how he got on the show
- 10:41Speaker 1: how soon after the dream that day, So then I
- 10:45Speaker 1: was what, it's really weird. But I didn't end up
- 10:49Speaker 1: being like next season, and he was a lot older
- 10:52Speaker 1: than me. And then it was Ari the next year
- 10:56Speaker 1: and he was also a lot older than me. And
- 10:58Speaker 1: then it just worked out. I don't know, I have
- 11:01Speaker 1: to be single and went on the show. And I
- 11:03Speaker 1: feel like I was very naive going into it. Um,
- 11:06Speaker 1: but so did you have a choice as to when
- 11:09Speaker 1: you got to go on? So the first year they
- 11:13Speaker 1: were like, we think you're too young. The second year,
- 11:16Speaker 1: I thought, we definitely think you're too young for a
- 11:18Speaker 1: right or ironically Nick is older than Ari, I think,
- 11:23Speaker 1: or the exact Samey was just really young, like I
- 11:25Speaker 1: was fresh out of college. Um. The next year when
- 11:29Speaker 1: it was Ari, I thought it was going to be
- 11:31Speaker 1: I thought it was gonna be Dean actually, and I
- 11:33Speaker 1: was like, Oh, it's gonna be deep you um. But
- 11:42Speaker 1: then they're like, Ari, do you want to go on?
- 11:45Speaker 1: I was like, you know, I just feel like it
- 11:47Speaker 1: wouldn't be genuine, you know. Uh So I said no.
- 11:53Speaker 1: But then they came back. Well, one of the one
- 11:56Speaker 1: of the things we never want to do on this
- 11:58Speaker 1: podcast is put people a weird position. But I'm gonna
- 12:01Speaker 1: try to dance that line very carefully tonight. So if
- 12:05Speaker 1: we can go back to then when you were told, Hey,
- 12:06Speaker 1: this is the season you're going to go on, this
- 12:08Speaker 1: is who the bachelor is going to be. Do you
- 12:10Speaker 1: remember being excited, uh, nervous. What were your emotions around it,
- 12:15Speaker 1: and if you could even walk us into the first
- 12:17Speaker 1: few weeks of the season, did you feel like, hey,
- 12:19Speaker 1: this could be something spectacular for me. His his name
- 12:23Speaker 1: was Colton. That was the name of the bachelor. I'll
- 12:26Speaker 1: say his name so she doesn't have to. Oh. No,
- 12:31Speaker 1: I was really excited. I remember, like a week before
- 12:35Speaker 1: I left, my brother and dad were at like this
- 12:38Speaker 1: football game randomly, and they saw him from far away.
- 12:40Speaker 1: They're like, oh, my batch Cassie. Um. I was super excited.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And the first few weeks, I mean, you guys know,
- 12:47Speaker 1: it's just a whirlwind, Like you don't even know where
- 12:51Speaker 1: you are half the time or what time of day
- 12:53Speaker 1: it is. Um. But I mean I was just very hopeful.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I think the entire time I remember your season. I
- 13:04Speaker 1: remember watching it vividly, uh, and knowing that there. I
- 13:08Speaker 1: guess most people in the audience probably that can remember
- 13:11Speaker 1: that time. We're thinking Cassie is gonna be there. Towards
- 13:13Speaker 1: the end, I remember even we're doing a podcast, and
- 13:15Speaker 1: like she's either going to be the next Bachelor, she's
- 13:16Speaker 1: gonna be there at the end of it. Obviously that
- 13:19Speaker 1: relationship ended up continuing past the show, and we're gonna
- 13:23Speaker 1: ask the question, uh, you know, then the headline started
- 13:27Speaker 1: to come out and you found out that Colton came
- 13:31Speaker 1: out as gay through these headlines? Correct, And I remember that, right?
- 13:36Speaker 1: How does that make you feel at the time? Um?
- 13:41Speaker 1: I feel like it's a very loaded question because I
- 13:44Speaker 1: I can't necessarily talk a lot about it. Um. You know,
- 13:49Speaker 1: I'm very happy that he, you know, is at peace
- 13:53Speaker 1: with himself, not carrying that burden anymore. Of course, it
- 13:58Speaker 1: was a very just over all hard time for me.
- 14:02Speaker 1: So I feel like there's just one thing after another
- 14:04Speaker 1: and I was just extremely overwhelmed just with everything going on.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Um so, yeah, it was really hard. You were with
- 14:11Speaker 1: your boyfriend at that time for over a year a
- 14:15Speaker 1: year ish, right, Yeah? How did he support you through that?
- 14:19Speaker 1: Did you try to not bring it up just because
- 14:21Speaker 1: it was a past relationship we had been so me
- 14:24Speaker 1: and Brian have been friends for like seven years now,
- 14:27Speaker 1: which is which is the way to start a relationship. Yeah,
- 14:32Speaker 1: um so yeah, we were friends for a long time
- 14:34Speaker 1: before we started dating like that last summer, um, kind
- 14:38Speaker 1: of unofficially, but we still count it as like we
- 14:40Speaker 1: were dating then. Um. And now he was very very
- 14:44Speaker 1: supportive just through everything. He's never been weird. If anything,
- 14:49Speaker 1: I feel like he I think he's just very defensive,
- 14:53Speaker 1: you know, or protective or kind of makes me talk
- 14:57Speaker 1: it out with him more than I would like to,
- 14:59Speaker 1: you know, Um, not in a bad way, in a
- 15:01Speaker 1: good way. Um. But it's just it's been really helpful
- 15:04Speaker 1: to have. I feel very lucky to have a good
- 15:07Speaker 1: support system for sure. That's I mean, I think that's
- 15:11Speaker 1: that's something to take note of too. You know, obviously
- 15:14Speaker 1: when you're on this show, public things happen, you know,
- 15:18Speaker 1: public breakups, uh, public marriages. Um, It's it's difficult, and
- 15:24Speaker 1: I think one of the things that just to say
- 15:26Speaker 1: there is kudos to him for being that strong support
- 15:28Speaker 1: to you, because sometimes it does feel very lonely and
- 15:32Speaker 1: it's confusing. And there's a thousand messages I remember talking
- 15:35Speaker 1: about on the podcast as well. But when when Laura
- 15:37Speaker 1: and I broke up, there was like a team Laura
- 15:39Speaker 1: and a team then, and nobody knows the real story
- 15:41Speaker 1: except us. That's the most annoying part. Yeah. And so
- 15:44Speaker 1: it's all out there and you're reading stuff and people
- 15:47Speaker 1: are publicizing stuff, but you're like, wait, I don't want
- 15:49Speaker 1: anybody to hate her. I don't want anybody to hate me.
- 15:53Speaker 1: You don't know what's going on, and so to have
- 15:55Speaker 1: that is very special. Yeah, when a Colton did come
- 16:00Speaker 1: out last year, did you did you hear rumblings that
- 16:07Speaker 1: it was going to happen? Did it completely catch you
- 16:09Speaker 1: off guard? Because I think even bet and I heard
- 16:12Speaker 1: rumblings that it was about to happen a day or
- 16:14Speaker 1: two before. I feel like people didn't talk to me
- 16:17Speaker 1: about things because I was so in a sensitive, like
- 16:21Speaker 1: fragile staying that I didn't hear anything. So I was
- 16:27Speaker 1: just completely caught off guard. Well, and that brings us
- 16:30Speaker 1: to today, obvious. So you're sitting here, You're back in public.
- 16:33Speaker 1: You've been in public if you you know, people can
- 16:35Speaker 1: see you in Huntington's Beach and wherever else you're traveling to.
- 16:38Speaker 1: How are you holding up today today? I'm doing great,
- 16:42Speaker 1: I'm fine. She's Grid Payball Um, Well, like, tell us
- 16:48Speaker 1: about your life today because you live with your boyfriend
- 16:50Speaker 1: hunting beach and you're like nice little safe space with
- 16:52Speaker 1: your cats, and um, we all knew that you were
- 16:56Speaker 1: studying speech pathology when you were on the Bachelor and
- 17:00Speaker 1: you graduated, and now how does how do you work
- 17:04Speaker 1: with that in your day to day life? Yeah? So,
- 17:08Speaker 1: I I don't know. Life is weird. Life just changes
- 17:11Speaker 1: all the time. I feel like I've been in this zone.
- 17:14Speaker 1: So I moved into my house like a year and
- 17:17Speaker 1: a half ago, and I feel like ever since then,
- 17:19Speaker 1: I've been like so settled, you know. So even coming here,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I'm like, how I'm really out of my comfort zone again.
- 17:25Speaker 1: But it's fun, Like I love doing these kind of things,
- 17:28Speaker 1: but I also love being feeling so stable and settled
- 17:32Speaker 1: at home, you know. Um. But back to speech therapy.
- 17:36Speaker 1: So I do speech therapy part time in a clinic.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I work from home. I do all my jobs from home,
- 17:42Speaker 1: so I literally don't have to leave or like in
- 17:46Speaker 1: an office at home via zoom. I have my own
- 17:49Speaker 1: little office space at home. Um, and that I have
- 17:53Speaker 1: been doing for a little over a year now. So
- 17:57Speaker 1: it's very It's a lot of commitment. I've feel like
- 18:00Speaker 1: it's only a few days a week, but it ends
- 18:02Speaker 1: up taking over. I have a great story about this,
- 18:06Speaker 1: and so I don't know if you remember this. My
- 18:08Speaker 1: wife is a massive fan of Cassie. She just really
- 18:11Speaker 1: enjoys her. And she's been able to be around just
- 18:13Speaker 1: a few people from the Bachelor franchise since we've gotten married. Um,
- 18:17Speaker 1: there's not a lot of people that she's been able
- 18:19Speaker 1: to meet. But we went to the same golf tournament together,
- 18:24Speaker 1: and uh, Jessica and Cassie were kind of it was
- 18:27Speaker 1: raining outside, I think that day, and so you're both like,
- 18:30Speaker 1: we're just gonna stay in the clubhouse and hang out.
- 18:32Speaker 1: And my wife at that time was starting her business
- 18:34Speaker 1: as an esthetician, and so she was very nervous too
- 18:39Speaker 1: to take too much time away from that. And you
- 18:42Speaker 1: were also in school at the time, and I remember
- 18:43Speaker 1: we walked into the clubhouse and both of you are
- 18:46Speaker 1: sitting in the corner on your computers, typing away. And
- 18:48Speaker 1: remember the conversation my wife and I had on the
- 18:50Speaker 1: way home is how impressive it was that you were
- 18:52Speaker 1: going through school studying getting your masters, your master's in
- 18:58Speaker 1: speech pathology, while at the same time at the peak
- 19:02Speaker 1: I mean, this is during the peak of all the
- 19:04Speaker 1: attention and all the Craze from the show. I think
- 19:08Speaker 1: I remember again, I could be dreaming stuff. It's been
- 19:11Speaker 1: a wild week that you've recently came out and said, hey,
- 19:13Speaker 1: that was a really hard time. Maybe you wouldn't have
- 19:15Speaker 1: gone and gotten your masters during that season of life.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Is that true? Yeah? I mean I stuck with it
- 19:21Speaker 1: because I had been pursuing it for so long, and
- 19:25Speaker 1: it was this thing that I just had to You know,
- 19:28Speaker 1: once you have it, you have it and no one
- 19:29Speaker 1: can take it away from you. So I knew, no
- 19:32Speaker 1: matter what I would that would be something I could
- 19:34Speaker 1: always rely on. But at the same time, you know,
- 19:37Speaker 1: when you I had no idea what Bachelor was gonna bring.
- 19:41Speaker 1: And it's crazy the opportunities that it does. Um. I mean,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I feel like now everyone kind of expects that go
- 19:48Speaker 1: into it, but I had. I mean, I went so naive.
- 19:51Speaker 1: But looking back sometimes I wonder should I have just
- 19:55Speaker 1: like taken hold of every opportunity instead of you know,
- 19:59Speaker 1: sitting on my computer through at home and doing school work. Um.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I mean, I know you can't ever go back and
- 20:06Speaker 1: do things differently, but it's just I question it sometimes.
- 20:11Speaker 1: But I love it as well, Like I would have
- 20:13Speaker 1: always finished it eventually. So I'm happy now looking back
- 20:17Speaker 1: that it's that I didn't suck with it, because I
- 20:20Speaker 1: find it very impressive, like incredibly impressive. And I only
- 20:23Speaker 1: meant to tell that story to show that you were
- 20:25Speaker 1: dedicated to this, you care about it, that yes, the
- 20:28Speaker 1: show was swirling around you and and you still said, no,
- 20:32Speaker 1: this is my dream. I'm really weirdly enjoy it though.
- 20:37Speaker 1: That's great. Like school though, like I enjoyed school have
- 20:43Speaker 1: in common. I remember we were at like a makeup
- 20:45Speaker 1: event for like channel or something, and she was like,
- 20:47Speaker 1: I have to go home because I have like homework
- 20:49Speaker 1: that needs to be submitted by midnight. Yeah, it was
- 20:51Speaker 1: so awesome. I love that it was always my excuse
- 20:54Speaker 1: to like stay home with a homebody. I like that
- 20:58Speaker 1: as well. Mm hmm. Okay, So speech pathology, I like,
- 21:12Speaker 1: I don't even know what that means. Can you explain
- 21:15Speaker 1: what speech to pathology is? Yes? Okay? Now in this okay,
- 21:23Speaker 1: so yes, man, I'm embarrassed now question. We have some
- 21:29Speaker 1: speech pathologists in the room. I'm like, do you guys
- 21:31Speaker 1: want to explain it? It's so hard. There's so many
- 21:35Speaker 1: things you can do with it, but essentially what it
- 21:38Speaker 1: is is just providing communication therapy in all different aspects
- 21:45Speaker 1: of communication to any kind of person. So like you
- 21:49Speaker 1: can work with little kids, you can work with adults, Um,
- 21:52Speaker 1: you can work with like autism, you can work with
- 21:56Speaker 1: people who have dementia or have had a stroke. Um,
- 22:00Speaker 1: you can even I know there's speech therapists out there
- 22:03Speaker 1: who give voice lessons or um, like accent work in
- 22:08Speaker 1: the accent field, whatever you call it. But there's just
- 22:12Speaker 1: so much it's fun. Okay, So if a kid had
- 22:15Speaker 1: a lisp, they would go to you too. Okay, all right,
- 22:19Speaker 1: that's that's a great clarification. I want to close out here, Cassie.
- 22:22Speaker 1: We do love having you up here with us. We
- 22:24Speaker 1: have a big night in front of us. Um, there's
- 22:27Speaker 1: obviously some contestants or one contestant I guess that's on
- 22:31Speaker 1: Bachelor Paradise right now that we're gonna talk to in
- 22:33Speaker 1: just a bit. Which leads me to my final question
- 22:36Speaker 1: for you actually might have more. I don't know, but
- 22:39Speaker 1: if you didn't meet your boyfriend, if you never met
- 22:43Speaker 1: him then you were single. Would have Paradise ever been
- 22:47Speaker 1: something you considered to do? Well? Obviously I'm with Brian
- 22:54Speaker 1: and I'm very happy. I feel like I was so awkward.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Are we gonna get married? I know, I like to
- 23:02Speaker 1: come out with rapid fire, um and just let you know.
- 23:06Speaker 1: If you're dating for two weeks with him asked, you
- 23:09Speaker 1: would have asked you, are you guys gonna get married?
- 23:11Speaker 1: Like that's not like he's very excited about marriage. She
- 23:14Speaker 1: loves sharing a lot. Um. Yeah. I mean if we
- 23:21Speaker 1: weren't together, I of course would have been like, oh,
- 23:24Speaker 1: that's fun. But you know, the contracts really heavy, so
- 23:29Speaker 1: that would have scared me away for sure. Contracts. But wait,
- 23:33Speaker 1: I have one more question that I know it's like
- 23:35Speaker 1: maybe boring to like the masses, but I find it
- 23:38Speaker 1: very interesting. You basically flipped your house. Yeah, it's so
- 23:44Speaker 1: isn't the biggest job ever. It has been. It's been
- 23:50Speaker 1: so much more work than I thought. Like when I
- 23:51Speaker 1: originally I bought my house, I was like, I'm gonna
- 23:55Speaker 1: d I y everything, I'm gonna do it in six months,
- 23:58Speaker 1: three months, and then you know, you start doing that
- 24:01Speaker 1: and it just does not work out how you had planned.
- 24:04Speaker 1: We moved. It's been so fun. Yeah, we've moved into
- 24:06Speaker 1: our house three months ago. I haven't even finished decorating.
- 24:08Speaker 1: It's so exhausting. Yeah, it is, and I feel like
- 24:12Speaker 1: I can't do anything else until the house is done,
- 24:15Speaker 1: so I could never do a flip job. This is
- 24:18Speaker 1: where I thank you Brighton, thank you my dad, thank
- 24:21Speaker 1: you my brother, because thankfully my family lives close so
- 24:24Speaker 1: they can help. But I definitely will like invite, you know,
- 24:29Speaker 1: my dad in landing over and be like, hey, are
- 24:31Speaker 1: you all three gonna be here at the same time,
- 24:33Speaker 1: might as well get this project done. And they're like,
- 24:35Speaker 1: never go to Cassie's house again. Yep. Fred my father
- 24:38Speaker 1: in law, he's around here somewhere and he knows that
- 24:41Speaker 1: I do that to him all the time. So it's like,
- 24:43Speaker 1: why don't you get a reugh a game down here
- 24:45Speaker 1: because I could really use the help with like rugs. Anyway,
- 24:49Speaker 1: I just want to end with one question with you
- 24:53Speaker 1: of your entire past. I guess it's been four years,
- 24:57Speaker 1: right since the beginning of your bachelor journey, doesn't what
- 25:06Speaker 1: has been the highlight? And I like one one specific moment,
- 25:11Speaker 1: if like a growing learning about yourself thing? Um? Oh sorry,
- 25:18Speaker 1: it's so hard. Sorry, I hate these questions. Um, guys,
- 25:27Speaker 1: I have no idea. I guess just the whole thing.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Is that a horrible answer, But I think it's just
- 25:36Speaker 1: been a really growing experience. Like you know, you're forced
- 25:39Speaker 1: to come out of your comfort zone and do things
- 25:41Speaker 1: you didn't ever realize it would be placed in front
- 25:44Speaker 1: of you. Um. I feel like I've grown into myself
- 25:47Speaker 1: a lot. I think if Bachelor never happened, I would
- 25:52Speaker 1: never be the person I am today. But it sounds corny,
- 25:55Speaker 1: but it's just so so true if you've been through
- 25:57Speaker 1: and I guess that's the same for everyone going through anything.
- 25:59Speaker 1: But um, I feel like it's made me more decisive,
- 26:05Speaker 1: more know what I want, and I think that's really
- 26:08Speaker 1: important because I struggled with that before a lot. That's beautiful. Well,
- 26:12Speaker 1: two last things before we send Cassie off here, just
- 26:18Speaker 1: to give a little praise to your sister. Um, we
- 26:21Speaker 1: saw some headlines. She landed a massive role. Do we
- 26:26Speaker 1: have any Yellowstone fans in here? Where's your hand? Wow?
- 26:31Speaker 1: You want me to say it? Okay? Um, okay, Yeah,
- 26:35Speaker 1: I'm very proud of her. She got she booked nineteen three,
- 26:39Speaker 1: which is the pre quill yellow Stone, which is that
- 26:42Speaker 1: I don't know what you call it company, it's the
- 26:45Speaker 1: next show after that. Yeah, yeah, so very excited for her.
- 26:49Speaker 1: And if I if I'm not wrong, I'm a massive
- 26:51Speaker 1: fan of Yellowstone Harrison Ford, isn't that right? Yeah? And
- 26:55Speaker 1: Mirn Yeah, Helen Mirren, isn't it Well, she's gone. I'm
- 26:59Speaker 1: so happy for like she's she deserves it. She's been
- 27:02Speaker 1: working so hard for like I don't know, five years,
- 27:05Speaker 1: pursuing this every single day, So she deserves it more
- 27:09Speaker 1: than anyone I know. Um, but Montana did steal her
- 27:13Speaker 1: from me for like a year. She's filming right now,
- 27:17Speaker 1: so make sure you check out the next sequel to three,
- 27:20Speaker 1: which Cassie's sister is gonna be in. We're telling the
- 27:24Speaker 1: story last night, and it sounds like she's just worked
- 27:26Speaker 1: very hard for this opportunity, and so we want to
- 27:28Speaker 1: celebrate her. Also, you're gonna meet Cassie and just a
- 27:31Speaker 1: little bit, she's gonna be out there hanging out, wandering around.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Cassie is one of the sweetest, kindest souls you're ever
- 27:36Speaker 1: gonna meet. This took a lot for her to come
- 27:38Speaker 1: out here and sit with us. Uh, so hang out.
- 27:42Speaker 1: It's gonna be a great night. We still have Jill
- 27:44Speaker 1: coming up as she's not gonna be up here just
- 27:46Speaker 1: talking your heads off for a bit. You can hear
- 27:47Speaker 1: from us all night long. Um, but be very sweet
- 27:52Speaker 1: to Cassie because she is one of the most special
- 27:55Speaker 1: people from this franchise. So thank you all. Cassie, thanks
- 27:58Speaker 1: for coming out. Followed the Benn and Ashley I Almost
