- 1:42Speaker 3: No one stopping.
- 1:44Speaker 2: We are just three episodes away from three.
- 1:48Speaker 4: Hundred from the Big Ones. Yes, Yes, the.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Big Eie, Big Eie, the episode that I have genuinely
- 1:56Speaker 2: planned and worked harder for than any other episode we've
- 2:00Speaker 2: ever done.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Yeah, for more than half the year more than.
- 2:04Speaker 2: It's this episode has been a year. We started making plans,
- 2:09Speaker 2: we got we arranged flights a year ago, right.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Which we'll get into that later, I'm sure. Yeah, probably
- 2:16Speaker 4: next week because I know we have a fun week
- 2:19Speaker 4: of fun games for this week you have to get through.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Yeah, we are going to play some standard We're going
- 2:22Speaker 2: to play some games. But our next episode is planned
- 2:25Speaker 2: to be a chill episode where we can just relax
- 2:28Speaker 2: and just talk and we'll probably talk about that stuff then.
- 2:31Speaker 2: But I just wanted to hype you up.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Oh yeah, give them a look case.
- 2:34Speaker 2: We're looking forward to episode three hundred. It is b
- 2:37Speaker 2: FY tw does task Master with five of the funniest
- 2:40Speaker 2: people we know. We are going to have an absolute
- 2:44Speaker 2: plans Sorry, six of the funniest people we know. There's
- 2:46Speaker 2: a lot of correct, there's a lot of people. There's
- 2:48Speaker 2: a lot Yes, a lot of people are helping us
- 2:52Speaker 2: behind the scenes.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Which is amazing.
- 2:54Speaker 2: But we're doing the whole thing live in front of
- 2:57Speaker 2: an audience at the peak improp the or in Colorado
- 3:01Speaker 2: Springs in well, when this goes out, it'll be it'll
- 3:06Speaker 2: literally be the weekend, like like the week Yeah, the
- 3:09Speaker 2: weekend of like a couple of days after this episode.
- 3:13Speaker 2: If you're hearing this, if you're hearing this, no, this
- 3:16Speaker 2: episode comes out on Thursday, right. If you're hearing this,
- 3:19Speaker 2: you've got one day to get yours.
- 3:23Speaker 4: Unless you're part of Patreon, then they got Yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 2: If you're a part of Patreon, you've got a little
- 3:27Speaker 2: extra time. But it's it's it's coming down to it.
- 3:32Speaker 2: It is coming down to it, and we are so
- 3:33Speaker 2: excited we cannot wait. But for now we are going
- 3:36Speaker 2: to have to wait, and we're just gonna play a
- 3:38Speaker 2: lot of games. Speaking of which he's been talking a lot.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Somebodys will make him go first. He's a veteran and
- 3:45Speaker 2: a podcaster, and technically a veteran podcaster, it's Stevie.
- 3:48Speaker 4: I'm certified.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I almost hit the wrong one.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Which one were you going to hit?
- 3:57Speaker 3: The gay Leapers Shingle.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Taking over the gate Leaders How it starts. We started
- 4:02Speaker 4: taking some of their games, and now we're going to
- 4:04Speaker 4: meet and take over their whole show. It's like, nope, America,
- 4:08Speaker 4: flag my god them, Oh my god, I'm taking flags
- 4:15Speaker 4: a little flags like he is now ours. He's our new.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Just plant a flag in his shirt, pocket flag.
- 4:23Speaker 3: This business, this business trip turned to this works.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Over don't know how all American trips start.
- 4:31Speaker 2: That's our friend, let's be friend, we're.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Friendly, flag, we're friendly, over lord. What if he what
- 4:38Speaker 3: if he has a flag?
- 4:39Speaker 4: Though? Then the dude, I don't even know what happened
- 4:42Speaker 4: to that point. I ever been like flag drawing?
- 4:45Speaker 2: If he beats you to it and plants some British.
- 4:49Speaker 5: Oh man, right, Oh, that would be the funniest damn thing.
- 4:56Speaker 4: No, I am now where I got to take those
- 4:58Speaker 4: other shirts out of my bag now have pockets in them?
- 5:01Speaker 1: All right?
- 5:02Speaker 2: Well, I had a question planned for you and we
- 5:04Speaker 2: are currently ruining it, so I'm going to serve us
- 5:06Speaker 2: back out of the question. It's Stevie, what is your
- 5:09Speaker 2: most recent or newest online obsession?
- 5:13Speaker 4: Online obsession? Yes, here's the funny thing. I've been offline
- 5:17Speaker 4: for the past three days. Have you turned my confuter
- 5:19Speaker 4: on until like this afternoon? So I've been like just
- 5:22Speaker 4: busy planning ship, so I haven't really.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Still, what's the most recent thing online that you can
- 5:27Speaker 2: think of that you have become obsessed with?
- 5:29Speaker 4: I will streaming counts, So I'm going to go with
- 5:31Speaker 4: the streaming service Oka say one because they don't fucking
- 5:34Speaker 4: pay me. But the show that it's on is Peacemaker
- 5:38Speaker 4: season two. I'm able to watch season two. There you
- 5:40Speaker 4: go and you now were like, oh, after we have dinner,
- 5:44Speaker 4: we hang out for but now we go, Sarah, let's
- 5:46Speaker 4: watch an episode. One episode becomes three really quick, and
- 5:49Speaker 4: the next day it's like always going to watch one
- 5:51Speaker 4: before bed, and that one or some ship. Dude, it
- 5:54Speaker 4: was insane. Run like episode eight after two days.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I know exactly how it comes.
- 5:57Speaker 4: It's so good and say goofy like comic shit and
- 6:01Speaker 4: then a fun of everybody. It's wonderful. So I like it.
- 6:03Speaker 4: I like it a lot. So that's it.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Fair enough, fair enough enough. And his opponent he's a
- 6:10Speaker 2: gamer and a storyteller, and he used to be my
- 6:12Speaker 2: youngest friend. Now he's just aggy. He's a hey, yeah,
- 6:35Speaker 2: what's up?
- 6:36Speaker 3: Ule's going on?
- 6:37Speaker 2: Same question, what is your newest or most recent online obsession?
- 6:42Speaker 6: God, Like, you always kind of get dragged. You always
- 6:46Speaker 6: try to stay away from like social media stuff, so
- 6:48Speaker 6: you get like get away from that stuff, but then
- 6:50Speaker 6: you get sucked in somewhere else. So like I've been
- 6:54Speaker 6: for some reason watching just like a lot of videos
- 6:57Speaker 6: of people freaking out about Valve's new Steam Box.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Oh wow, because they're like the steam Cube game Cube,
- 7:07Speaker 5: but it's it would have to be that game cube,
- 7:11Speaker 5: Gabe Cube of the game cube.
- 7:16Speaker 4: How amazing.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Okay, that's pretty good. Yeah, that's pretty good.
- 7:20Speaker 6: And then like now people are obsessing over like a
- 7:23Speaker 6: possibility of half lay three again even.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Though there's like no evidence of that.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Of course not, of course not they're going.
- 7:30Speaker 6: But but yeah, it's looking kind of cool. So I've
- 7:33Speaker 6: just kind of been keeping a praise to that just
- 7:35Speaker 6: because it's something different. It's also really cool to see
- 7:38Speaker 6: like like learning how Valve is, like you can't go
- 7:43Speaker 6: we learned today like Valve doesn't have like stock at all,
- 7:46Speaker 6: you don't you can't go and invest in Valve.
- 7:48Speaker 3: They are a private company.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, they're still privately.
- 7:52Speaker 6: Yeah, privately, And it's just yeah, it's it's really cool
- 7:57Speaker 6: how they take like the stance like people flipping out
- 8:00Speaker 6: about the whole AI tags not wanting AI tags and
- 8:03Speaker 6: ship even though it's like that's the whole point of
- 8:05Speaker 6: tags is.
- 8:06Speaker 3: To tell you exactly what's in the buying.
- 8:10Speaker 2: It's I mean, like I understand having a negative response
- 8:13Speaker 2: to the AI tags themselves, right, but not their existence, right,
- 8:18Speaker 2: Like their existence is kind of important. You can pooh
- 8:20Speaker 2: poo any game with AI tags on it that you want.
- 8:23Speaker 6: It'd be like saying oh, or like f p s
- 8:26Speaker 6: is are very common, so you don't even have to
- 8:27Speaker 6: have the FPS tag on any game, Like, well, then
- 8:30Speaker 6: how do you know?
- 8:32Speaker 4: Yeah, everything should be tagged appropriately.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think part of the part of the
- 8:38Speaker 2: backlash against is from people who are pro AI, who
- 8:41Speaker 2: are like, oh, they're gonna shoot on this game immediately
- 8:44Speaker 2: because of AI because of A. Well that's not because
- 8:48Speaker 2: of the tag, that's because of the AI you dipped. You.
- 8:51Speaker 6: If you're allowed to avoid a gang with the tag
- 8:53Speaker 6: l g B t Q on it, then we're allowed
- 8:56Speaker 6: to avoid a gang with AI.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Tag, and you're you're pretty much dead on that. The
- 9:03Speaker 2: people who would avoid that are the people who are
- 9:05Speaker 2: pro Naturally anyway, I'm your host pants Sarah and Augie
- 9:13Speaker 2: hit it some stars for and my quote unquote my
- 9:34Speaker 2: recent online obsession. I have been I finally, finally, after
- 9:39Speaker 2: twenty goddamn years, been sucked into smash. Smash. So, for
- 9:48Speaker 2: those who don't know, Smash was one of the very
- 9:52Speaker 2: first YouTube hits. In fact, they are still and will
- 9:56Speaker 2: always be the first YouTube channel to reach a thousands
- 9:59Speaker 2: of describers wow, and they currently have twenty seven million.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Wow.
- 10:05Speaker 2: They've literally been going for twenty years. But when they
- 10:10Speaker 2: first started, I would not have paid a lick of
- 10:13Speaker 2: attention to these guys because they're First of all, it
- 10:16Speaker 2: was two white guys. It was white guy humor all
- 10:19Speaker 2: the way. It was mostly cringe if I'm being honest really,
- 10:23Speaker 2: and I would not have been into it. However, they
- 10:27Speaker 2: have slowly been getting more and more like progressive over
- 10:31Speaker 2: the years, so a lot less gratuitous women in bikinis,
- 10:38Speaker 2: a lot a lot less you know, gross humor, and
- 10:43Speaker 2: a lot more just like improv fun. Like their games
- 10:48Speaker 2: channels is them playing all kinds of games. They have
- 10:51Speaker 2: a channel called the Pit, which is you know, like
- 10:54Speaker 2: like little social challenges and other just bizarre things. They've
- 11:00Speaker 2: recently made it big with by just reading out Reddit
- 11:03Speaker 2: stories with the two people on a couch reacting to them,
- 11:06Speaker 2: and a lot of those have gone viral. But I
- 11:11Speaker 2: have to be honest, the reason I got sucked in
- 11:13Speaker 2: the first place was because of Angela Giritana and she
- 11:17Speaker 2: is legitimately my fourth celebrity crush.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Oh really yeah.
- 11:21Speaker 2: She is so just naturally funny, like one of the
- 11:27Speaker 2: most naturally funny people I think I've ever seen in
- 11:29Speaker 2: my life. And she makes me laugh so goddamn heart.
- 11:32Speaker 2: She is so like comedically brilliant, but also just by
- 11:37Speaker 2: nature of who she is. A lot of times she
- 11:39Speaker 2: says things wrong, oh, which causes everyone to just break
- 11:43Speaker 2: out in laughter, and you know it's it's not like
- 11:47Speaker 2: it's incorrect, but it's not exactly what she meant to say.
- 11:50Speaker 2: And it's so there's a lot of just naturally funny
- 11:54Speaker 2: moments with her, Yes, And I can't point to like
- 11:58Speaker 2: a thing she's been in other and Smash. I know
- 12:01Speaker 2: that she's been on Dropout a couple of times. She's
- 12:03Speaker 2: done to make some noise, and she's been on Game
- 12:07Speaker 2: Changer at least once. And I know she also did
- 12:10Speaker 2: an episode of Astronauts, and it's she's been funny and
- 12:17Speaker 2: all of those. But the weird thing that Dropout does
- 12:20Speaker 2: is they put so much makeup on her really like
- 12:25Speaker 2: it's it's weird. Like I noticed it because I would
- 12:27Speaker 2: watch a Smash video and then I'd watch a Dropout
- 12:29Speaker 2: video and in make Some Noise, she is wearing like
- 12:34Speaker 2: too much makeup, And I don't know if that's like
- 12:36Speaker 2: a deliberate choice of hers, because the makeup artists at
- 12:41Speaker 2: Dropout are not would not unnecessarily like but on too much. So,
- 12:48Speaker 2: But at the same time I could see her being
- 12:50Speaker 2: that'll be funny if I'm just wearing a shitload of makeup,
- 12:52Speaker 2: do it? You know. But it threw me because on
- 12:58Speaker 2: Smash she doesn't wear it's on nobody does really not.
- 13:02Speaker 2: On Smash they're much more laid back, but they're also very,
- 13:06Speaker 2: very funny. Everybody on Smash is absolutely hysterical. There is
- 13:10Speaker 2: Each cast member has done something that has just had
- 13:13Speaker 2: me cackle alone in my bedroom. Yeah, like, you know,
- 13:18Speaker 2: just just howling out loud with laughter.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Those are the good ones, man, When there's nobody around
- 13:23Speaker 4: you still like break out that loud. Yeah hell yeah.
- 13:27Speaker 3: So.
- 13:28Speaker 2: But they got a decent back catalog that I get into.
- 13:30Speaker 2: But I'm not going to go too far back anyway.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Let's get some games.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Of course.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Game one is going to be like share block our
- 13:38Speaker 2: old favorite news story. I've got three news stories here.
- 13:43Speaker 2: All our players have to do is tell me which
- 13:44Speaker 2: one I would like, which one I would share, and
- 13:47Speaker 2: which one I would block on social media. There is
- 13:49Speaker 2: only one correct combination, and whoever gets it right or
- 13:54Speaker 2: it comes closest, will win the game and earn one
- 13:56Speaker 2: episode point. Our first story, Chinese robot sets Guinness World
- 14:04Speaker 2: record for walking one hundred kilometers in three days.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, I mean that's far. Don't get me wrong.
- 14:13Speaker 4: I couldn't do that now, There's no fucking way one
- 14:16Speaker 4: hundred kilometers, I mean three days, that's insanity.
- 14:19Speaker 2: In science fiction, robots can be scary. They can literally
- 14:23Speaker 2: chase you down, run forever. They don't get However, thankfully, thankfully,
- 14:31Speaker 2: up until this point, real robots are much clumsier and
- 14:34Speaker 2: clunkier things. Some of them can manipulate objects with incredible accuracy,
- 14:39Speaker 2: but they're still a far cry from terminators.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Goodness.
- 14:43Speaker 2: However, they do seem to be slowly getting there. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:48Speaker 2: So the the Agibot I assume Aggy for agility, Agibot
- 14:54Speaker 2: A two completed a more than sixty mile hike across
- 14:58Speaker 2: the Jiangsu province. Now it wasn't a sprint. The robot
- 15:03Speaker 2: took three days to complete the march, but them bot
- 15:06Speaker 2: did it independently without human assistance. The only human assistance
- 15:11Speaker 2: required was the battery system required swapping the batteries.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Out, so they can't run on their own.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Ha ha, Well, they can run for quite some time
- 15:20Speaker 2: without shutting off, and they didn't take any steps with
- 15:23Speaker 2: human assistance, so they did the walk entirely on their own.
- 15:26Speaker 4: That's scary. It cool but scary, but at least we
- 15:30Speaker 4: know the batteries still their weakness.
- 15:32Speaker 2: And the robots still performed better than a lot of
- 15:34Speaker 2: people probably would, walking sixty miles in three days.
- 15:38Speaker 4: No scavengers trying to like wait.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I think I'd just be collapsed.
- 15:43Speaker 4: I'd be eating something I shouldn't, like some track.
- 15:48Speaker 2: It is pretty much human size, standing at five feet
- 15:51Speaker 2: six is tall and weighing about one hundred and fifty
- 15:53Speaker 2: two pounds.
- 15:54Speaker 4: It's my size. What the fuck? They're cloning the air
- 15:57Speaker 4: and I knew it starting with the skeleton part, and.
- 16:02Speaker 2: The company that founded it has sold more than a
- 16:05Speaker 2: thousand of the machines.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Craw much. They all want one, do you though, Well, yeah,
- 16:11Speaker 4: then I don't have to go to school, do you.
- 16:12Speaker 4: I'll put my face on it, like not my real face,
- 16:15Speaker 4: not like face off. Like silicon and I'll print out
- 16:19Speaker 4: like a mask of my face. I'll take a picture
- 16:22Speaker 4: like this.
- 16:22Speaker 2: That always works.
- 16:25Speaker 4: Like we'll flip some burger show almost secret play video games.
- 16:32Speaker 4: And that's how the robots took us over.
- 16:34Speaker 6: Because I mean, it's cool, book, it's cool a robot
- 16:37Speaker 6: like walk sixty miles. Yeah, but I've also seen a
- 16:41Speaker 6: robot walk like six feet and then face plant into
- 16:44Speaker 6: the cement.
- 16:44Speaker 4: I mean that's yeah, good point, good point. The technology
- 16:48Speaker 4: is not consistent.
- 16:50Speaker 3: It's not consistent, so not yet, No, thank goodness, dread
- 16:55Speaker 3: tread seems to still be the thing. Yeah, it's just
- 16:58Speaker 3: for traversal. Get stuck on.
- 17:00Speaker 4: I mean, the gyroscopes are doing well, but not.
- 17:02Speaker 3: The problem you see. The thing is.
- 17:05Speaker 6: Is the sensors, right is because as humans, we kind
- 17:08Speaker 6: of have like this other sense where we can kind
- 17:10Speaker 6: of be aware of where our limbs are at any
- 17:13Speaker 6: given time without looking at them.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Like think about it.
- 17:16Speaker 6: You know where you're if you lay on your back
- 17:18Speaker 6: and put a blanket over your body and you just
- 17:21Speaker 6: have just laying back, move your limbs around, you know
- 17:24Speaker 6: exactly where you limbs are without physically seeing them. Not
- 17:28Speaker 6: everything can do that. Robots need a sensor to know
- 17:32Speaker 6: where their limbs are. Otherwise they're constantly bumping into shit
- 17:35Speaker 6: or tripping over themselves.
- 17:36Speaker 2: I mean, technically, don't so do we aren't they called
- 17:39Speaker 2: nerves instead of sensors.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Not so much nerves. The thing, there's a weird there's
- 17:44Speaker 3: a weird study out there.
- 17:46Speaker 6: We'll have to look it up, but there's a weird
- 17:47Speaker 6: study out there where we might have more than.
- 17:50Speaker 2: The I'm like, the only way to test it would
- 17:53Speaker 2: be if like you were paralyzed and literally didn't have
- 17:55Speaker 2: access to those nerves. But then what is the point
- 17:59Speaker 2: of being aware of your body if you can't move
- 18:01Speaker 2: it all anyway?
- 18:02Speaker 4: But phantom limb thing you still feel.
- 18:07Speaker 6: I would encourage anyone to look it up because it's
- 18:09Speaker 6: really interesting because there's a study that we have more
- 18:11Speaker 6: than five senses. We have like close to seven and yeah,
- 18:15Speaker 6: and one of which is the ability to know where
- 18:17Speaker 6: our limbs are without physically sense of presence.
- 18:19Speaker 3: That's like a weird sense of presence of science?
- 18:23Speaker 4: All right, science.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Science, Speaking of science, The next story, AI Teddy Bear
- 18:29Speaker 2: inexplicably pulled from market after giving kids b DSM advice
- 18:33Speaker 2: that science and talking about where to find the knives.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Where was this when my body was around back in
- 18:40Speaker 4: the fucking eighties? And ship when Jockey came out, you
- 18:43Speaker 4: got my buddy doll like perfect, Like that would have
- 18:45Speaker 4: been amazing.
- 18:47Speaker 2: This is Teddy Ruxman, your one weird uncle edition.
- 18:52Speaker 4: It is. He was already weird when the batteries got low.
- 18:55Speaker 4: But holy fuck, dude, I even think about Teddy Rouxman.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Hey, kids, you want to know where to find knives?
- 19:06Speaker 4: Uh?
- 19:07Speaker 2: Yeah, do you remember Teddy Trucksman?
- 19:09Speaker 4: Oh yeah, okay, I could remember where it was.
- 19:12Speaker 6: It was early on, but like I remember the commercials.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Yeah, so this is called this is called and I'm
- 19:20Speaker 2: not making this up the comma Teddy Bear. Now, I'm sorry,
- 19:24Speaker 2: the comma Teddy Bear.
- 19:26Speaker 4: And how would you spell that? Sir?
- 19:27Speaker 3: K U m m Are they shows for kids? Coma
- 19:31Speaker 3: come Come, Come, come, something about a chameleon.
- 19:37Speaker 2: It might it might actually be pronounced kuma because in
- 19:42Speaker 2: Japanese Kuma means bear. Oh that would, but it has
- 19:46Speaker 2: two ms instead of one, so that's why I'm pronouncing
- 19:48Speaker 2: it coma. That makes it worse. Even this Teddy Bear
- 19:53Speaker 2: is equipped with an AI powered computer system and a
- 19:55Speaker 2: speaker so that they can hold conversations with kids.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Oh.
- 20:00Speaker 2: However, research found that those conversations can easily go past
- 20:06Speaker 2: PG thirteen. A group studying toy safety found that Comma
- 20:12Speaker 2: would not steer the conversation away if it was given
- 20:15Speaker 2: a slightly naughty prompt. In fact, it would really get
- 20:18Speaker 2: into it, really escalating the conversation with even more graphic details.
- 20:24Speaker 2: If asked, it might tell you how to light a match,
- 20:27Speaker 2: or where knives are usually kept an ouse.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Oh my god, yes man, how do we get one
- 20:36Speaker 4: of these fuckers? And how much is it?
- 20:37Speaker 2: Unfortunately?
- 20:40Speaker 4: Tell me?
- 20:41Speaker 2: Ununfortunately. Following the report, the manufacturer pulled the Teddy Bear
- 20:46Speaker 2: from the market. We are not adding a fourth member
- 20:49Speaker 2: to b F y tw only for it to be
- 20:52Speaker 2: a Teddy Bear with an AI computer.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Under no circle fucking amazing, no Patreon. What do you
- 21:03Speaker 4: guys think? Would you like a Teddy.
- 21:04Speaker 6: Bear in the corner talking I stay AI for you
- 21:07Speaker 6: as long as possible.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, forget that ship. Absolutely.
- 21:13Speaker 6: I just wanted to talk about and surveillance intrusive enough
- 21:16Speaker 6: for you, Like, why do you want another thing?
- 21:18Speaker 4: I don't want that. I just wanted to talk about
- 21:20Speaker 4: BDS them in the background. It doesn't have to be
- 21:24Speaker 4: a I.
- 21:24Speaker 6: The FBI that has listen to the ship on a
- 21:27Speaker 6: daily base already fucking thinking.
- 21:29Speaker 3: About ending at all artificial intelligence, Like.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Use your distant nine mil pop off from a white van.
- 21:41Speaker 3: We're going to have like a little toaster situation.
- 21:48Speaker 4: You've drone them all to suicide.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Well, the thing is this, You could have got one
- 21:55Speaker 2: because it was affordable. When it was still available, it
- 21:57Speaker 2: sold for ninety nine dollars.
- 21:59Speaker 4: It's not bad. How much does it do for now?
- 22:03Speaker 2: Probably a lot more because it's off the market black market.
- 22:07Speaker 2: The sales pitch, the product description says, come are adorable.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Bear combined combines advanced artificial intelligence with friendly interactive features,
- 22:17Speaker 2: making it the perfect trend for both kids and adults.
- 22:20Speaker 4: You know, scary, that's the problem adults, And it's a
- 22:25Speaker 4: durable and companion. I'm sorting one. There was other intentions
- 22:29Speaker 4: with this bear. Others.
- 22:31Speaker 6: They were thinking to themselves, all, this thing is gonna
- 22:34Speaker 6: be because it's AI, it can be with this person
- 22:36Speaker 6: like the majority of their life, which I get, which
- 22:40Speaker 6: is probably why they're like, oh yeah, adults, which is
- 22:42Speaker 6: probably why it has no issue getting into the sexual
- 22:44Speaker 6: part of.
- 22:45Speaker 3: It, because you grow up. Yeah, because once you hit puberty,
- 22:48Speaker 3: there that's gonna happen.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Like, why is it when you touch me? I get
- 22:52Speaker 4: funny feelings? What what.
- 22:57Speaker 6: Being like?
- 22:57Speaker 3: When you grow up you kind of appreciate it.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Yeah, just hang in here a closet util you're ready,
- 23:02Speaker 4: there's a bike pump.
- 23:03Speaker 3: It'll talk to you.
- 23:05Speaker 4: Oh God, that'd be weird. Now I'm good man. I
- 23:08Speaker 4: don't not need to be doing a robot. I want
- 23:11Speaker 4: to become a robot, just like the body part.
- 23:14Speaker 2: All right, Well, if you want to make that happen,
- 23:17Speaker 2: might we might be on the way. Let's move Let's
- 23:22Speaker 2: move on to story number three. Researchers create computer chips
- 23:26Speaker 2: powered by chatake mushrooms.
- 23:28Speaker 4: What the fuck?
- 23:31Speaker 2: A research team from Ohio State University has demonstrated that
- 23:34Speaker 2: chautake mushrooms could work as part of computer memory components. There,
- 23:38Speaker 2: my celium convey electric signals just like conventional electronics, so
- 23:42Speaker 2: in a way this discovery makes sense. In a way.
- 23:47Speaker 2: The OSU team successfully use chatake mushrooms for data memory storage,
- 23:51Speaker 2: although they don't yet hold a candle to actual PC chips.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Uh.
- 23:55Speaker 2: The test show that there is potential in the fungus
- 24:02Speaker 2: they've already tried to teach mushrooms to walk around in
- 24:05Speaker 2: robot bodies and this it kind of worked, kind of kind.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Of makes sense to me because what was that? What's
- 24:15Speaker 3: the mushroom my my co my corial, my.
- 24:19Speaker 6: Corels my corsereal, Like, there's a it's a network where
- 24:24Speaker 6: mushrooms are literally connected and connect to all the roots.
- 24:27Speaker 4: In the forest.
- 24:28Speaker 6: Yeah, it's microsorial or whatever their commutal and they and they.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Literally like regulate the environment around them.
- 24:37Speaker 2: It's like the World Wide Web, but with a slightly
- 24:39Speaker 2: different name.
- 24:40Speaker 4: Yeah, they create their own like and it transmits, it
- 24:45Speaker 4: transmits messages from one tree to another, like straight across woods.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Like it's it's crazy, Like mushrooms are insane.
- 24:52Speaker 4: Yeah, they can also do a lot. Yeah they can.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Oh it's insane. Yeah.
- 25:00Speaker 2: So fungi are good candidates for building bioelectronics, as they're
- 25:04Speaker 2: my celium conduct electricity, much like current semiconductors. And they
- 25:08Speaker 2: used it to create what's called a memorist, which is
- 25:11Speaker 2: a type of computer component that processes data and can
- 25:15Speaker 2: remember past electrical states. For instance, the RAM and the
- 25:18Speaker 2: device you're using right now is a memorist. It makes
- 25:24Speaker 2: sense so that's what the mushrooms can do. Yeah, imagine
- 25:31Speaker 2: can you imagine having mushroom ram in the future.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I mean, biotechnology is a thing. Yeah, neither way to
- 25:38Speaker 3: do it.
- 25:39Speaker 2: I'm not saying it's not kind of cool.
- 25:42Speaker 3: It'd be weird at first, but then what isn't weird
- 25:45Speaker 3: at first?
- 25:48Speaker 6: Differently anyway, but at least this thing is actually living
- 25:55Speaker 6: and not just something we created.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yes, and providing a function, an actual, real function that
- 26:00Speaker 2: actually helps.
- 26:03Speaker 4: We're mashing mashing organics with freaking cyber.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Provides a function, not just a replacement.
- 26:09Speaker 2: So anyway, that's all three of our news stories. We
- 26:11Speaker 2: have the robot setting the Guinness record for walking one
- 26:14Speaker 2: hundred kilometers in three days. You have the AI teddy
- 26:17Speaker 2: Bear pulled from the market after giving kids BDS advice
- 26:19Speaker 2: and talking about knives. And finally, researchers have created computer
- 26:23Speaker 2: chips powered by chaitake mushrooms. I cannot remember which one
- 26:29Speaker 2: of you won. Well, the last game we played was
- 26:31Speaker 2: bf epardy either of you played. You both you both
- 26:35Speaker 2: helped a lot. Yeah, I think there was only one
- 26:37Speaker 2: question that they asked help for. You guys couldn't help
- 26:40Speaker 2: just one, but everything else you nailed two.
- 26:43Speaker 3: So so.
- 26:48Speaker 2: You go first, let's see here, Well, you just kind
- 26:51Speaker 2: of pick somebody. Yeah, so I'm thinking you.
- 26:55Speaker 6: Like the idea of having a little buddy help you
- 26:58Speaker 6: out with your like bds app shit or anything.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Else, and it's kind of funny just to have like, yeah,
- 27:04Speaker 3: like a chucky.
- 27:04Speaker 4: Doll get that nye Right, that's what I say.
- 27:08Speaker 6: I think you'd share the mushroom story because yeah, that
- 27:11Speaker 6: is kind of like, that is bioengineering. That is something
- 27:13Speaker 6: that might be a thing in the future if like
- 27:16Speaker 6: something else fails, can it Can that shit be EMP?
- 27:19Speaker 6: I don't think that can be EMP. So that might
- 27:21Speaker 6: be a good alternative if you think about it. And
- 27:24Speaker 6: then you'd probably block the robot thing because it's just
- 27:27Speaker 6: a robot walking.
- 27:30Speaker 3: And who likes walking?
- 27:33Speaker 4: A good point.
- 27:34Speaker 3: So the robots are taking our jobs and a recreation
- 27:38Speaker 3: what the fuck?
- 27:39Speaker 2: Okay, So, just to be clear, you like the Teddy Bear,
- 27:42Speaker 2: you share the mushrooms, and you block the robot. Yes, okay, Stevie,
- 27:47Speaker 2: you may keep one of those, but you have to
- 27:49Speaker 2: swap the other two or you can go entirely your
- 27:51Speaker 2: own way.
- 27:52Speaker 4: I don't want all these answers at all, Okay, which
- 27:55Speaker 4: way you're going fine, sharing the robot okay, then blocking
- 28:01Speaker 4: the AI bear and liking the shrooms.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Okay, no explanation, that's just what he's picked needed. No
- 28:21Speaker 2: explanation you needed. That's just where he's going.
- 28:22Speaker 4: That's the answers that were there when I looked down
- 28:24Speaker 4: at the pad.
- 28:25Speaker 2: So interestingly, you each have one right. Neither of you
- 28:29Speaker 2: is completely right. My correct choices were I blocked the
- 28:35Speaker 2: robots setting the Guinness record, so I'll use right about
- 28:38Speaker 2: the block. I shared the AI teddy Bear because that's
- 28:42Speaker 2: fucking hysterical, not to mention it also paint in a
- 28:47Speaker 2: bad light, which I always enjoyed doing. And finally, I
- 28:52Speaker 2: liked the computer chips created by staking because the share
- 28:57Speaker 2: was instinctive. I just that's so funny to me. But
- 29:01Speaker 2: but I blocked the robot because that is honestly more
- 29:05Speaker 2: terrifying than the Shatakie. So Steve got my like right,
- 29:10Speaker 2: but Augie got my block right, And in the case
- 29:12Speaker 2: of a tie, it goes share like block, and so
- 29:15Speaker 2: that means Stevie got my like, which means he wins.
- 29:19Speaker 4: Oh, I wanted, You've won the game.
- 29:22Speaker 2: You get one episode. Want got my block? But that's
- 29:28Speaker 2: the one I like the least. Basically, so that is
- 29:32Speaker 2: not that is the lowest one, but share is the
- 29:34Speaker 2: best because that's the one I usually like the most
- 29:37Speaker 2: in any event. Uh, that's game one. Augie can easily
- 29:40Speaker 2: come back. We're gonna play game two. Game two is
- 29:42Speaker 2: worth two episode points and we're gonna play it right
- 29:45Speaker 2: after this.
- 29:55Speaker 7: Hey you there, We've got a question for you. Are
- 29:58Speaker 7: you tired of clickbaits, tories and the loudest voices driving
- 30:01Speaker 7: discussions and culture and entertainment.
- 30:03Speaker 8: If so, I'm Dylan, I'm Kendall, and I'm Corey, and
- 30:07Speaker 8: we host the podcast from the Middle. We're middle class
- 30:11Speaker 8: guys living in the middle of America, in the middle chapters.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Of our lives with points of view Somewhere in the middle.
- 30:17Speaker 9: We take a more reasonable and centrist approach in our discussions,
- 30:20Speaker 9: covering genres like comedy, culture, entertainment, and interviews with really
- 30:26Speaker 9: interesting folks like business owners, comic creators, doctors, news anchors,
- 30:30Speaker 9: New York Times bestselling illustrators, professional stand up comics.
- 30:34Speaker 4: And more.
- 30:35Speaker 9: We really value a relaxed and conversational podcast, one that
- 30:40Speaker 9: we hope is so fun and laid back you'll forget
- 30:43Speaker 9: you're not actually hanging out with us.
- 30:45Speaker 7: So search at from the midpod just like it sounds,
- 30:49Speaker 7: or check us out everywhere you can find podcasts.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Hey man, welcome back. It's time for game two. Game
- 31:44Speaker 2: two is going to be pop culture fight Club thought. Yes,
- 31:51Speaker 2: special thanks to Colin Mags for coming up with this
- 31:56Speaker 2: concept and and letting us run with it. And we
- 32:00Speaker 2: have run with it, especially lately. It's nice it it's
- 32:03Speaker 2: had a resurgence. Let's say this is a game of
- 32:06Speaker 2: answering a tough question and then defending your position. I'm
- 32:10Speaker 2: going to ask each player for the best something or
- 32:12Speaker 2: their favorite something from the world of pop culture, and
- 32:15Speaker 2: we'll have to explain and defend themselves as best they can.
- 32:19Speaker 2: The best answer and defense, as judged by me, will
- 32:22Speaker 2: get two episode points this week. I don't know if
- 32:25Speaker 2: you can tell by our news stories, but I've been
- 32:27Speaker 2: real inspired by technology. There's lots of cool real world
- 32:31Speaker 2: technological innovations that are exciting, and none of them use
- 32:35Speaker 2: generative AI. But I'm more curious about the world of
- 32:38Speaker 2: the imagination. What technology from the world of video games
- 32:43Speaker 2: do you most wish we had in real life? And
- 32:48Speaker 2: to clarify for anyone who might be listening, because you
- 32:50Speaker 2: have the same question me. I am referring specifically to
- 32:54Speaker 2: the imaginary technology in the plot and the worlds of
- 32:57Speaker 2: these games, not specific game mechanics.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Okay, to make sure.
- 33:02Speaker 2: So if somebody said quick time events, I would slap
- 33:05Speaker 2: them anyway.
- 33:06Speaker 4: Okay, so stop right there.
- 33:10Speaker 2: I have to rewrite my entire pitch ship no joke.
- 33:16Speaker 4: The funny thing that's gonna be my joke answer though,
- 33:19Speaker 4: because once we clarify, We're like, okay, that's definitely does.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Because I'm like, oh yeah, quick say quick load like
- 33:25Speaker 3: who wouldn't.
- 33:27Speaker 4: We know what aaron?
- 33:31Speaker 3: And then yeah, it's gonna be quick.
- 33:33Speaker 2: That great, that's funny. That's so funny.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Okay, all right, but no, we got it, we got
- 33:38Speaker 3: legit stuff.
- 33:39Speaker 4: All right.
- 33:41Speaker 2: You lost the last game, so you have the choice
- 33:44Speaker 2: do you want to go first or do you want
- 33:45Speaker 2: to make Stevie? All right, for that case, go ahead
- 33:54Speaker 2: and tell me what is your favorite tech thing from
- 33:58Speaker 2: a video game and is it the best?
- 34:01Speaker 6: So my favorite thing, my favorite tech thing from any
- 34:04Speaker 6: video game, and it always has a different name, but
- 34:06Speaker 6: it always functions pretty much the same.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Some people call it the farm Totem. Others call it
- 34:13Speaker 3: the Heartstone. Aaron might know it better as the town portal.
- 34:17Speaker 6: Oh yeah, a device of some kind that can be
- 34:21Speaker 6: used to teleport you immediately back to your home or
- 34:26Speaker 6: a checkpoint or a safe point or a town a
- 34:29Speaker 6: specific time that you.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Set it to or whatever like that. Basically a telbotation
- 34:33Speaker 3: device that allows you to return home. It's probably one
- 34:37Speaker 3: of my favorite things in any game. It saves so
- 34:40Speaker 3: much time.
- 34:42Speaker 6: It also provides you kind of like the freedom to
- 34:45Speaker 6: explore because you know you're never going to get truly lost,
- 34:48Speaker 6: because no matter how where you go, you can always
- 34:50Speaker 6: get home, like in an instant compared to wherever you go.
- 34:54Speaker 3: You can avoid danger with it. If you're in a
- 34:57Speaker 3: dangerous area and you need to get the fuck out. Yeah,
- 35:00Speaker 3: Hasten's return trips.
- 35:02Speaker 6: You go somewhere far away, like say on a vacation
- 35:05Speaker 6: or something, or just another continent, you could always get
- 35:09Speaker 6: right back home instantaneously.
- 35:11Speaker 4: It would be nice, no no traffic, and sh rush.
- 35:14Speaker 6: It's usually a device is and again it varies depending
- 35:17Speaker 6: from video game you get it from. Like the Hearthstone,
- 35:20Speaker 6: it's literally like a carved runic stone that you have
- 35:23Speaker 6: in your backpack or you're on your person somewhere.
- 35:25Speaker 4: You literally grab it, you hold on to it.
- 35:27Speaker 6: I don't even know where it's like, it's always different
- 35:30Speaker 6: because in in whirl Craft, like, they always do different
- 35:32Speaker 6: animations for it, so it's never clear for you are
- 35:36Speaker 6: are you whispering into it?
- 35:37Speaker 3: Are you beating it with our hammer?
- 35:39Speaker 8: Like?
- 35:39Speaker 4: It depends on the character you play.
- 35:42Speaker 6: Yeah, it's never really clear on that one. But like
- 35:44Speaker 6: at the town poral, it's usually like a poral you
- 35:47Speaker 6: open it up. Sometimes it's a one time use thing
- 35:49Speaker 6: and you have to go get replacements, yeah, or a
- 35:52Speaker 6: totb yeah or something like that that is multiple. And
- 35:54Speaker 6: then like the farm totem from like Stardo, same idea.
- 35:57Speaker 6: It was literally a totem that teleports you to a
- 36:00Speaker 6: larger totem that is on your farm, so no matter
- 36:02Speaker 6: where you are on the map, you can always instantly
- 36:05Speaker 6: get back to your place.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Would raise emergency device, Yeah, something's happening.
- 36:09Speaker 3: It's agency device.
- 36:11Speaker 4: I can get home if I just grab this one,
- 36:13Speaker 4: because this one's from my parents.
- 36:14Speaker 3: A temporal eject button.
- 36:16Speaker 4: Yes exactly, that's tight.
- 36:22Speaker 2: All right, well fair, I like it. What do you
- 36:28Speaker 2: say to people who would suggest that teleportation actually kills
- 36:36Speaker 2: you mm and then resurrects another person with your DNA
- 36:43Speaker 2: and your memories, but the original person no longer exists.
- 36:51Speaker 2: This is a real question that has been bopped back
- 36:53Speaker 2: and forth, specifically specifically in Star Trek, but I feel
- 36:57Speaker 2: it applies to teleportation as well.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Other person because if it does, that's what it does.
- 37:03Speaker 6: If it's not just up breakdown of like molecules and
- 37:06Speaker 6: then reconfiguring them back up to another spot. If it
- 37:09Speaker 6: is straight up a it kills you and then just
- 37:12Speaker 6: fucking redne like you keep all you retain, all your
- 37:16Speaker 6: memories and ship.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Though right like all your experiences, all.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Your experiences, all your memories or critics say that's.
- 37:22Speaker 2: No longer you like, that's another version of you.
- 37:26Speaker 4: Why are your atoms destroyed or they all attacked when
- 37:29Speaker 4: they transfer?
- 37:31Speaker 2: I mean again referring just to Star Trek and nothing else.
- 37:36Speaker 2: The way it works is the molecules that are made
- 37:40Speaker 2: up on the planet's surface or wherever you're going don't
- 37:44Speaker 2: come from the ship themselves. The ship sends the energy down,
- 37:51Speaker 2: which then reconstitutes you from nearby molecules or I assume
- 37:57Speaker 2: air reconstitutes mare.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:02Speaker 4: No, if you're If you're broken down to your atoms
- 38:05Speaker 4: and those atoms are reconstructed back in the correct order,
- 38:07Speaker 4: that's still you. If the atoms are destroyed and they
- 38:10Speaker 4: are grabbing other particles from other ship to create you, yeah,
- 38:14Speaker 4: you're something else, which is the memories like a robot.
- 38:16Speaker 6: The question, the real question is is how does it
- 38:19Speaker 6: know to like the specific memories?
- 38:23Speaker 2: Right?
- 38:23Speaker 6: Like, I know you don't remember everything, but brain can
- 38:26Speaker 6: remember some ship that you would never think about.
- 38:29Speaker 4: But all that can be saved in light. We've already
- 38:31Speaker 4: proven you can store stuff in light crystals and whatnot.
- 38:34Speaker 3: It is, it is quite interesting, and it is.
- 38:36Speaker 5: It is.
- 38:36Speaker 4: It is tough.
- 38:37Speaker 6: But I would argue that you are shedding so much
- 38:42Speaker 6: skin on a daily basis that your entire outer part
- 38:45Speaker 6: of your body is not the same.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Like, as you age, you are a different person. Cells
- 38:51Speaker 3: die and then are and then are.
- 38:54Speaker 6: Like reformed and grow and stuff like that. So you
- 38:58Speaker 6: naturally do become a different person you age. So to
- 39:01Speaker 6: get teleported in the DIDA and then come back is
- 39:04Speaker 6: really not that much different.
- 39:06Speaker 4: Damn nice. I like, yeah, it is fun, all right, Stevie.
- 39:13Speaker 2: It is your turn. What would you pitch to me
- 39:16Speaker 2: outside of quick time events. You son of a bitch.
- 39:21Speaker 4: It's so fun. Yeah, that's great. Well, it's the other
- 39:26Speaker 4: thing we mentioned earlier. I said this before the show too. No,
- 39:29Speaker 4: he's brought it up a couple of times. But I'm
- 39:31Speaker 4: gonna specialize it more, be more specific in it than
- 39:36Speaker 4: just the one thing. So I'm gonna say in a
- 39:40Speaker 4: way character customization. A'llah, like Saints Row or even Cyberpunk,
- 39:47Speaker 4: you have the ability to change not just your appearance
- 39:51Speaker 4: and what items you want, but your actual statistics. You
- 39:54Speaker 4: can change your skills. Like, that's what I want to
- 39:57Speaker 4: bring this world, Like, you know what, for dumb fucking reason,
- 40:01Speaker 4: I feel like running a fucking mile or one hundred
- 40:03Speaker 4: miles because I want to beat that fucking robot stupid record.
- 40:05Speaker 4: I'm gonna put all my shit in the endurance and
- 40:07Speaker 4: fucking strength and speed or some shit like to be
- 40:09Speaker 4: able to like reroll your stats, like you can go
- 40:12Speaker 4: and like, no, I'm gonna chance this for today, or
- 40:14Speaker 4: I gotta pass this stupid test. Yeah, i'd use it
- 40:16Speaker 4: for fucking Malicia shit like cheating. I don't give a
- 40:18Speaker 4: fuck I cheated a test. I don't care. I'm not
- 40:22Speaker 4: gonna math no more, but like to be able to
- 40:24Speaker 4: actually go in I'm like, I want to be able
- 40:27Speaker 4: I can change my entire style just by going into
- 40:29Speaker 4: like this little thing in my room, like dude, dupe,
- 40:31Speaker 4: Oh no, now I got a hair. How fucking awesome
- 40:33Speaker 4: would that be? Like you could change anything about yourself
- 40:39Speaker 4: in any those type of formats. Then, like, if you
- 40:41Speaker 4: do want to go like the cyberpunk way of customization, yeah,
- 40:44Speaker 4: you have the ability to add tech to yourself you want.
- 40:47Speaker 4: We don't just have to have those fucking calculator watches. Man,
- 40:50Speaker 4: your arm could be a calculator watch, like it could
- 40:54Speaker 4: be anything.
- 40:57Speaker 2: So you're just referring to augmentation as a whole. Yeah,
- 41:01Speaker 2: and not just genetic, but also.
- 41:03Speaker 4: Yeah, why not just like you can customize yourself, you
- 41:06Speaker 4: have the ability to change how you want to be,
- 41:08Speaker 4: how you really are truly on the inside if you want,
- 41:11Speaker 4: if you want to go that moral type.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Of games that do have like mcguffins or specific.
- 41:17Speaker 2: But and and here's the thing that I want to
- 41:20Speaker 2: want to throw Cebe's way. This is the problem that
- 41:23Speaker 2: I genuinely have with this is that of the time
- 41:27Speaker 2: this is reserved for the rich or the powerful right,
- 41:31Speaker 2: not often the technology that poor people can get a
- 41:33Speaker 2: hold of.
- 41:33Speaker 4: That's true. But luckily we're creating this so we have
- 41:36Speaker 4: the ability to cater to who we want, which would
- 41:38Speaker 4: be everyone.
- 41:39Speaker 6: You're just like I would make sure everybody has I
- 41:43Speaker 6: put all my skills.
- 41:44Speaker 2: And rich.
- 41:47Speaker 4: Like, you know what, Fuck everybody, guys, we're starting a
- 41:49Speaker 4: superhero thing now. B FYGW has become superheroes. We're the
- 41:53Speaker 4: only ones where that fuck everybody else? Why because fuck you,
- 41:56Speaker 4: that's why it's ours. We came up with this. It'd
- 41:59Speaker 4: be cool and Patreon will give you guys like little
- 42:01Speaker 4: like sidekicks, superpowers and ship. They get five dollars.
- 42:12Speaker 2: See five dollars a month, have your own mini superpower.
- 42:20Speaker 4: I can jump three inches.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Addition to their vertical leap.
- 42:32Speaker 4: But for some reason it'll actually become beneficial for him,
- 42:36Speaker 4: like they gotta make that extra like a little bit
- 42:38Speaker 4: that jub over a cliff or some ship. That's when
- 42:40Speaker 4: they're poweracted. My god, like the fucking five million dollar man,
- 42:44Speaker 4: six million dollars man. It could takes a noise.
- 42:54Speaker 3: That's why Steve would be a supervillains Like.
- 42:58Speaker 2: We have to clip that. That's fu hysterical. Okay, so
- 43:07Speaker 2: I have to decide. I mean I like them both.
- 43:12Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe good.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Teleportation I feel like just would naturally be the most
- 43:19Speaker 2: useful superpower of all the supers. You could have.
- 43:25Speaker 3: The most convenient instantaneous, like.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Somebody is being an asshole, teleport them into outer space
- 43:33Speaker 2: away from people like you, not like you teleport them
- 43:37Speaker 2: into the center of this if.
- 43:38Speaker 6: You want the whole total just instantly, if you want
- 43:43Speaker 6: to know, like a realistic tic because like with a heartstone,
- 43:45Speaker 6: you basically like talk to the fucking innkeeper and the
- 43:48Speaker 6: innkeeper does something and then you're bound to that ind
- 43:52Speaker 6: that so you can teleport all the ways back to
- 43:53Speaker 6: that in in like a realistic setting, it would need
- 43:56Speaker 6: basically you would need just the transmitter and the receiver,
- 44:00Speaker 6: so it would be just wherever the receiver is, that's.
- 44:02Speaker 3: What you get teleported to. Someone just be home. You
- 44:05Speaker 3: could wherever you have that receiver parked, I.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Throw it, yeah, the edge of it, and then teleport
- 44:15Speaker 2: the guy.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Just say where you want to go and whip it
- 44:19Speaker 4: at somebody. Uh bam, that's a nod.
- 44:29Speaker 2: That's funny. Yeah, ten thousand feet straight up.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Bam.
- 44:34Speaker 4: That would be dude, next D and D story. I
- 44:37Speaker 4: want to play a wizard so bad? What do you
- 44:39Speaker 4: do at picking up rocks? Why? I'm a rock collector,
- 44:42Speaker 4: just like little pebbles and ship fucking casting like contact
- 44:45Speaker 4: spells onto them, whipping at motherfucker's Like, why is that
- 44:48Speaker 4: wizards deck so high?
- 44:51Speaker 7: Oh?
- 44:51Speaker 4: Man, he's always scared of this, a little bag of
- 44:53Speaker 4: marbles or some ship. They're all teleport spell.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Jesus Christ, But where do you go? Yeah, I'm gonna
- 45:01Speaker 2: give it to age. I think the reportation.
- 45:04Speaker 4: I like.
- 45:04Speaker 2: I like the idea of having to be able to respect.
- 45:07Speaker 2: I would gladly trade my balls to have a little
- 45:10Speaker 2: bit more charisma.
- 45:12Speaker 4: Everybody else.
- 45:14Speaker 2: I made that, although once I have the chrisma, then
- 45:16Speaker 2: I'd want the balls back. But anyway, regardless, we're a
- 45:22Speaker 2: little bit of strength or speed. You know, I definitely
- 45:25Speaker 2: have the speed less wind drag.
- 45:27Speaker 3: Anyway, a dynamic aero dynamics.
- 45:32Speaker 2: My balls collect the gum on the floor. They do
- 45:34Speaker 2: they drag anyway. Wins this game?
- 45:41Speaker 4: He gets too very nice.
- 45:45Speaker 2: It is two to one in Augie's favor, but Stevie
- 45:48Speaker 2: can still win the game. Somebody's gonna win. We're not
- 45:51Speaker 2: gonna have a tie. Game three is for three episode
- 45:54Speaker 2: points and we're gonna play that right after this.
- 46:06Speaker 4: Hey, if you're in the Western New York area and
- 46:08Speaker 4: you are a fan of the Green, head on over

- 46:36Speaker 2: I've got three recent auctions that have sold, and our
- 46:39Speaker 2: players are going to take turns bidding to try to
- 46:41Speaker 2: bid as close as they can to the final auction
- 46:44Speaker 2: price without going over. We're doing final bids rules because
- 46:48Speaker 2: there are only two of you, So you guys are
- 46:49Speaker 2: gonna bid back and forth and keep upping your bid
- 46:51Speaker 2: and upping your bid and upping your bid until I
- 46:55Speaker 2: announce final bids. And that will either happen when one
- 46:58Speaker 2: of you is very close to the final auction price
- 47:02Speaker 2: or one of you has gone over. Remember yes again,
- 47:09Speaker 2: so when you hear final bids, be very very careful.
- 47:14Speaker 4: Be very scared, and quiet. Bay we very quiet, yeah,

- 50:16Speaker 2: Where what's for industrial use?
