- 0:20Well, I've got some good news. The report from the Rancher
- 0:23Foundation presented by our dear friend MO Siegel, the President,
- 0:29and his letter 2026 on the overview of the past year of the
- 0:35Urantia Foundation and all the things that they're involved
- 0:37with. MO writes a great comment here.
- 0:43It's towards the end of his opening paragraph where he says
- 0:47I often reflect on the wisdom of the Contact Commission, the
- 0:50first people entrusted with stewarding the revelation to
- 0:54humanity. Their counsel was simple and
- 0:58enduring. Be patient.
- 1:00This project is larger than any of us.
- 1:02Be brave. Do not shrink from the
- 1:05responsibility of sharing the revelation wisely and be
- 1:09realistic in your expectations, remembering that lasting
- 1:12spiritual evolution unfolds steadily, not suddenly.
- 1:18And this is echoing what we were talking about in the previous
- 1:22podcast and looking back at the four epical revelations that
- 1:27preceded this one and the approach that the individuals
- 1:31involved in each of those epics and how they dealt with teaching
- 1:36the revelation, teaching revelatory truth to our fellows.
- 1:40The other great paragraph I want to say before we get underway in
- 1:45reviewing some of these numbers, MO writes, we are all deeply
- 1:48privileged to serve Michael as a steward of this revelation.
- 1:52During these early years, few generations have the opportunity
- 1:56to participate in the growth of a revelatory project destined to
- 2:00transfigure humanity's spiritual course.
- 2:04When on the mansion worlds, we more fully grasp the
- 2:07significance of this revelation and its unfolding impact, we
- 2:12will look back with profound gratitude for being permitted to
- 2:16help lay its foundation. That is a privilege of eternal
- 2:20value. And 1 he says we will forever
- 2:24cherish. And I agree completely.
- 2:28He stated it beautifully. So how did we do?
- 2:32How did the Arantia book do? As in the marketplace?
- 2:37According to the report from the Foundation 20, over almost
- 2:4124,000 books were sold and that was a 7% increase from the year
- 2:47previous. There have been 53,600 downloads
- 2:54and that was 21% more than the previous.
- 2:57And then as far as books printed in other languages or in all
- 3:01languages, 29,000 books were printed in English, Korean,
- 3:06Portuguese and Spanish. Those are not small numbers.
- 3:10As far as outreach, there have been 961,000 visitors, unique
- 3:16visitors to urantia.org and there are 741,000 active users.
- 3:24The top five visiting countries include the United States,
- 3:27Brazil, Mexico, Spain and Canada. 37,000 visitors to the
- 3:34Chinese section of the website in the final quarter of 2025,
- 3:39and there were 1600 free outreach books distributed.
- 3:43And this is interesting to me. 440 copies of The Untold Story
- 3:48of Jesus were sent to ministers in the United States.
- 3:53That is the planting of the seeds in a meaningful way.
- 3:57And in some of my conversations with folks Lutheran,
- 4:02particularly Episcopalian, they're a little bit more free
- 4:06thinking and not as rigid as you might find in the evangelical
- 4:10communities. And I, I think that I sense that
- 4:15there will be much more tolerance today than 20 or 30
- 4:19years ago in many of these denominations where they would
- 4:24be open to the Jesus story. What I think we'll see over time
- 4:30is it more and more ministers will be integrating Urantia
- 4:33truths that are found about Jesus's life in Section 4.
- 4:40See what else is significant to me?
- 4:43Oh, the education. You know, we talked sometimes
- 4:46about the Urantia Book Internet School and I've, I've taken a
- 4:51couple of courses and it's a wonderful interchange between
- 4:54fellow students of the Urantia Book and now they're offering
- 4:57them in nine languages. 53 courses are offered, 734
- 5:03students have enrolled and I believe that's just from this
- 5:06year, 7 or 34. I, I could be wrong.
- 5:08If I'm wrong, someone let me know.
- 5:10Now what's real significant, if I can find it, is that they're
- 5:17going to do something which we've talked about on this
- 5:19program for quite some time, and it's an initiative, is to create
- 5:26a global cultural and educational center.
- 5:30And So what I will do is reach out to the foundation and ask
- 5:34what that is. Creating and sustaining
- 5:37thousands of study groups is vital.
- 5:39MO says a publication mandate was presented to the early
- 5:43leaders, instructing thousands of study groups must be brought
- 5:46into existence and the book must be translated into many tongues.
- 5:51Thus will the book be in readiness when the battle for
- 5:55man's liberty is finally won and the world is once more made safe
- 6:00for the religion of Jesus and the freedom of mankind.
- 6:06Thanks to MO and really all the folks over at the Urantia
- 6:10Foundation for their tireless efforts to keep the book out
- 6:14there in the world. If you'd asked me 10 years ago,
- 6:18I I would have been concerned about the Urantia book not
- 6:22gaining ground. But there's just so much effort
- 6:25and energy and that's being put into it.
- 6:28So it's, it's a wonderful thing to see the flowers start to
- 6:31bloom. See you next time.
- 6:34And again, thank you. We'll talk to you again on the
- 6:37Urantia Radio Podcast.
