- 0:00The traditional woman does not exist and contrary to whatever
- 0:03red pill slop you may see on the Internet, this actually is a
- 0:06good thing. Hey guys, what's up?
- 0:07Some urgency and welcome. Welcome back to my channel.
- 0:09And I just have to disclaim before we get into this that,
- 0:12yes, gay man and woman's business.
- 0:14So take what I say with whatever size grain of salt you think it
- 0:17deserves and let it be known that this is not coming
- 0:19unprovoked. And in fact, I made a whole
- 0:21video talking about the exact same thing except about
- 0:24traditional men. And y'all ask for this, so here
- 0:27we are. But yeah, very similar to my
- 0:29video about about traditional men and why traditional men no
- 0:32longer exist and should not exist.
- 0:34The same can be said for the traditional woman.
- 0:37And I think this conversation is very interesting because we see
- 0:39so much content and so much discourse around the traditional
- 0:43woman or the traditional wife. And I feel like what's
- 0:45interesting about this kind of content and this whole
- 0:47discussion is that this push towards traditionalism is coming
- 0:50from both sides, both from men and women, but kind of talking
- 0:53about two very separate but similar things.
- 0:56And in this video I want to talk about why both of these things
- 0:59are kind of getting the whole something wrong and why this
- 1:01push towards traditionalism for women or being a trad woman or a
- 1:04trad wife does not exist anymore and should not exist anymore for
- 1:08the good of pretty much everyone.
- 1:10So to get started with this conversation we do need to talk
- 1:12about what does it mean to be traditional and specifically
- 1:15getting into what does it mean to be a traditional woman.
- 1:18And shocker, it does not look great for women.
- 1:20According to the peer reviewed article Social media is
- 1:23Dangerous Fantasy. How the trad wife movement Fuels
- 1:25Inequality and gender based violence by Antonio Wolf and
- 1:28others. Trad wife is short and for
- 1:30traditional wife, which is a lifestyle that has gained online
- 1:33traction over the last decade through different social media
- 1:35platforms. Trad wives differ from
- 1:37housewives though. Through their ideology, trad
- 1:39wives hold strict archetypal gender roles.
- 1:41They support the patriarchy and submit to their husbands.
- 1:43They commodify far right politics and disseminate sexist
- 1:46and racist rhetoric veiled by images of romantic domestic
- 1:49life. Which is a fancy way of saying
- 1:51that trad wives and traditional womanhood is the modern day
- 1:55yasified version of just submitting to the patriarchy in
- 1:59doing what red pilled men or traditional men have been
- 2:03expecting and wanting from women since before the women's rights
- 2:06movement. Because the key part here is
- 2:07that it's the ossified to make it seem like it's a thing of
- 2:10control and relinquishing control.
- 2:12And don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with wanting to
- 2:13relinquish control to your partner or be more submissive in
- 2:16your relationship. But I think there is a
- 2:18difference when it comes to wanting to fall back into
- 2:21traditional values and like fall back into patriarchal norms and
- 2:24call that revolutionary or something new or like a a novel,
- 2:27because that's anything but. In fact, that quite literally is
- 2:30the status quo, if not is taking a few steps back.
- 2:33I don't understand how this isn't every woman's dream.
- 2:36I mean, you get to stay home all day and just do whatever you
- 2:39want, like cook and clean and maybe cook and clean and then
- 2:44cook and then clean. And the best part is you don't
- 2:47even have to see anybody. You don't have to talk to
- 2:49anybody. It's just you and the baby.
- 2:51And one thing to note is that when we're talking about these
- 2:53roles, love itself is never in the equation really.
- 2:56And if it is, it's about the woman loving the man
- 2:59unconditionally. It's so funny that some of these
- 3:02trad wives are just like, you know what isn't working for me
- 3:04anymore? Having full rights and autonomy.
- 3:07So I'll just run a play that's. Straight up from the 18.
- 3:10Hundreds, because ultimately, the AD wife movement is just the
- 3:13cult of true womanhood all over again.
- 3:15And the man reaping the benefits of a woman's labor, whether that
- 3:18be emotional, physical or mental.
- 3:20Either that or a man reaping the benefit of what the woman
- 3:22symbolizes to him, that being a good modest woman, like a true
- 3:25pillar to being a trad wife, is being subservient to a man.
- 3:28And it really doesn't get more male centered than that.
- 3:30So I think that when women embody like the traditional
- 3:33roles of a marriage, they kind of end up sacrificing and giving
- 3:37up their whole life for their husband.
- 3:39The way I view it is everything you do as a woman is to progress
- 3:43your husband's life. And there are just real glaring
- 3:46reasons as to why traditionalism does not work in the modern day
- 3:49for women or for anyone to be real.
- 3:51But, you know, for the sake of this video.
- 3:53Because, for one, when it comes to distribution of Labor and
- 3:55like, who is leading the household, the notion of being a
- 3:58trad wife, at least the way that trad wives are right now, kind
- 4:01of still makes you the leader of the household.
- 4:03You're just not getting credit for it.
- 4:04Women get exhausted in traditional partnerships because
- 4:07they are the leaders of their households.
- 4:08It's not the opposite. It's not because they're being
- 4:10so overlooked and because they're so of course, like that
- 4:13narrative exists to some extent, but it's actually because women
- 4:15in traditional, the trad wife, that whole traditional framework
- 4:19are the leaders by every conceivable metric.
- 4:21They're the ones that are taking care of the space.
- 4:22They're the ones that deciding what the home looks like.
- 4:24They're the ones that are deciding how the kids are going
- 4:25to spend their time. They're the ones spending how
- 4:27the family unit as a whole is going to be spending their time.
- 4:28They're the ones that decide for the for the most part, how the
- 4:31family money is going to be spent.
- 4:32They're the ones deciding if a child is going to be brought
- 4:34into that family, if they're going to get pregnant.
- 4:36They they make virtually every single meaningful decision about
- 4:40the house, about the family, about them as a unit, as a
- 4:42couple. Like, women call the shots in
- 4:45literally every single way and. An important thing to note when
- 4:47it comes to the conversation around being a tried wife or
- 4:49being a traditional woman is that like the essence of being
- 4:52traditional as a woman does not center yourself or your needs.
- 4:55In fact, to be a traditional woman in like the textbook form
- 4:58means that you are centering a man and a man is always
- 5:01involved. And I personally hate that
- 5:03because the traditional life and traditionalism centers and has
- 5:07always centered men, men's needs, men's wants, and men's
- 5:11lives. To be a traditional woman in the
- 5:13way that has been traditional means to reduce yourself to an
- 5:16accessory to an accomplishment, a quest for a man, because that
- 5:19is how things were traditionally done.
- 5:21And I hate that. I don't think that should be the
- 5:23norm because in a way, it's kind of stripping away someone's
- 5:25personhood to be considered an accessory to someone as opposed
- 5:28to someone's partner or someone's equal.
- 5:30But hey, everyone has a choice and I'm going to respect
- 5:32people's choices if you're choosing to pursue that
- 5:34lifestyle and that is something that you are actually seeking.
- 5:37But I think the greater conversation here is that I
- 5:38think that a lot of people are subscribing to this whole
- 5:41aesthetic in this whole vibe because there is an appeal to
- 5:44letting someone else lead, make decisions for you and take care
- 5:47of you financially, especially now when times are so uncertain
- 5:49and things are so expensive. But I think we're not thinking
- 5:52all the way through what that means and what you give up for
- 5:55that. And as we talked about in the
- 5:56previous video, in this traditional saga around
- 5:58traditional men, it really just isn't feasible to even attempt
- 6:01to be traditional in today's world because generally our
- 6:04milestones in life have shifted and are not what they used to
- 6:07be. Like finding a man, especially a
- 6:09Gen. Z man, to be a sole provider is
- 6:11realistically going to be tough because inflation's up, wages
- 6:14are down, and gas is $7.00 in California.
- 6:16Lots of Gen. Z men are not.
- 6:18They are not going to chase you like they want to be chased.
- 6:21Like they will not even do a woman the service of asking her
- 6:26out and planning the date. They want the woman to plan the
- 6:28date. They want the woman to text
- 6:29first. They want the woman to initiate
- 6:32things physically. It's like it is completely
- 6:35backwards from a traditional standpoint.
- 6:37So I don't really know where the people that are writing these
- 6:41articles are getting this information from because it
- 6:44certainly cannot be Gen. Z women.
- 6:46And you know, disclaimer police, this isn't me saying that like
- 6:48you're never going to find anyone that's going to treat you
- 6:50right. Like I, that's not what I'm
- 6:51saying. And please don't take it that
- 6:53way. I'm speaking generally across
- 6:55the board for everybody. Not many people in general in
- 6:57our generation are able to sustain a family off of 1 wage.
- 7:00But speaking specifically about women, there are more choices
- 7:03than ever as women are able to work, make their own money,
- 7:06pursue whatever educational endeavors and don't have to play
- 7:09the 15 roles that go into being a Hillmaker.
- 7:11And that's really me speaking to the choir because studies show
- 7:13that like, yeah, the girlies does this.
- 7:16Women have an outperforming men in the classroom and in the
- 7:18workplace for a minute now, like the girlies are up.
- 7:21But social media, regular media and just general content will
- 7:24have you thinking that like, that's a bad thing.
- 7:26And to do that work and be really successful and be really
- 7:29good at your job is to be in your masculine and that it's
- 7:32more feminine to just be at home, take care of the kids, get
- 7:35into baking and sourdough starter talk, work on your
- 7:38modesty, your aesthetic, be a clean girl and be mindful that
- 7:41you show up in the section. Do y'all remember that?
- 7:45Y'all remember that trend? That was a deep pull.
- 7:47But it like even then to point out the hypocrisy.
- 7:49Like the traditionally feminine roles like home making or just
- 7:51being a mother have been historically downplayed because
- 7:54of patriarchy. To be like these softer more
- 7:56feminine roles when they also are very hard work because those
- 7:59aren't jobs that you can just clock out of.
- 8:01And like not to be a Reddit truther, but like this post kind
- 8:03of hits the nail on the head. And if we really want to wake it
- 8:05up and go down the extreme path, I point you no further to the
- 8:08tred wives that are influencers because that might friends is
- 8:10one of the biggest contradictions.
- 8:12Because I can assure you that those Tri wipe influencers are
- 8:14making a lot more money than whatever their man is doing.
- 8:17And I don't know about you, but that does not sound very
- 8:19providerly of that man. But as I alluded to earlier in
- 8:21the video, there is something to be said about how this rise in
- 8:24like traditionalism in like trad wipery is just pinkwash
- 8:28misogyny. a TikTok like this is something
- 9:09that you see all over the for you page and at surface level
- 9:11can be seen as pretty innocuous and pretty harmless.
- 9:15None But content like this is honestly some of the most
- 9:15sinister. Not necessarily because of the
- 9:17creator themselves, but more so because of the messaging.
- 9:20Because it's using modern day frustrations to basically tout
- 9:23gender bio essentialism and looks back on the struggles of
- 9:26women back in the day and kind of goes maybe that wasn't so
- 9:29bad. They actually had it kind of
- 9:30good back then. Like girl, no, like the reason
- 9:34why we're even able to see it that way is because we have the
- 9:36privilege of perspective and the very privileged position of
- 9:40choice. Like there's a reason why whole
- 9:42generations of people fought for us to be where we are now, even
- 9:45though right now isn't amazing. There are generations of people
- 9:47that fought for the rights that we have now.
- 9:49And again, this isn't to say like, if that's the life you
- 9:51want to live, then don't live it because again, the root of
- 9:54everything is choice and more specifically your own choice.
- 9:57But I think the problem we get into with a lot of the content
- 9:59that's online right now is that it influences the choices that
- 10:01you do make with information that might not be the best or
- 10:04the most accurate or telling the whole story.
- 10:07Well, you're busy, right? Your nervous system.
- 10:09He's regulating laws and infrastructure to enforce on
- 10:12your body. And that's ultimately what all
- 10:15this feminine energy content is about.
- 10:17It's a compensation package for the patriarchy, A coping
- 10:20mechanism for misogyny, A digitally administered SSRI.
- 10:24Gender maxing is just as much of A content genre for women as it
- 10:27is for men. It's all about manufacturing
- 10:30sexual dimorphism and these femininity coaches because they
- 10:33don't really have very much to say though.
- 10:35Instead, they resort to pseudophysics with vibes,
- 10:39energy, frequency, electromagnetism, gender
- 10:43addition, masculine and feminine polarity.
- 10:46Because surprise, triwef content isn't the only kind of content
- 10:49with this kind of messaging around bio essentialism, gender
- 10:52roles and gender Larping. Because a lot of seemingly
- 10:55spiritual content, like think of the vein of like divine feminine
- 10:58content, still pushes this bio essentialist rhetoric saying
- 11:00that like, oh, this thing in this action feminine, this thing
- 11:03in this action masculine, the twain shall not mix.
- 11:06If you are girl you shall be feminine and if you are a boy
- 11:08you shall be masculine and never, never swap those
- 11:12energies, which is just not how the world works and is
- 11:14problematic on multiple levels. The conversation around what
- 11:17makes a traditional woman or what traditional men or just men
- 11:20in general want from a traditional woman and where that
- 11:23desirability comes from is definitely problematic if you
- 11:26want to examine it because a lot of it, and bear with me, can
- 11:28stem back to things like how do I say this without getting
- 11:31demonetized? PDF Phillic.
- 11:33Centuries of conditioning is a hell of a thing to overcome, but
- 11:37just to say it because somebody needs to say it.
- 11:41When you diminish your womanhood so that the man next to you can
- 11:45feel like a bigger man, you're playing into like fantasies.
- 11:48There's a reason why Palia is so normalized in so many cultures
- 11:52around the world and it's because y'all romanticize that
- 11:55shit and you think it's kinky and cute and quirky and funny
- 11:58and it's not. Like if you really think about
- 12:00it, what other group of people need to always be taken care of,
- 12:04need to be provided for, have their decisions made for them,
- 12:06are youthful looking, are expected to be quiet and are
- 12:08expected to speak only when spoken to, and are generally
- 12:11expected to be hairless children.
- 12:13And not saying that being a trad wife or wanting a trad wife
- 12:16means that you are one of those types of people, but it's
- 12:20important to understand where a lot of these values and
- 12:22interests are rooted in. And a lot of it unfortunately is
- 12:25rooted in that sort of stuff. Because being a trad wife, you
- 12:27are submissive, you dress very frilly and youthful, but then
- 12:30are also expected to be like a mother to everyone in this
- 12:33situation, even your man, While also at the same time making
- 12:35yourself smaller and subservient to your husband, man, or
- 12:38whatever. Regardless of if you are both
- 12:40working or if one of you is working.
- 12:42And personally that doesn't sit right with me because like for
- 12:44one, that just doesn't make sense.
- 12:45And two, that's not a true and equal division of Labor because
- 12:47those things aren't valued the same, unfortunately.
- 12:54Modesty does not exist. Being of the opinion that women
- 12:57should cover themselves head to toe to Coleman's desires is the
- 13:01same as being of the opinion that women should go out fully
- 13:04naked to excitement. In both, the woman's body is
- 13:07made solely the object of desire, and yet it has made her
- 13:11responsibility to either facilitate this desire or impede
- 13:14it. And then a whole side point of
- 13:16this conversation is around the concept of modesty, because I
- 13:18think one of the core pillars to like traditionalism and being
- 13:21traditional is to be modest and to dress modestly.
- 13:24And I think that there is like an interesting conversation to
- 13:26be had around the concept of modesty because who are you
- 13:29being modest for? Is it for how you perceive
- 13:30yourself and how you want to dress?
- 13:32Or is the modesty for other people and how they are
- 13:35perceiving you? I think there is this big
- 13:37modesty push, like almost scoring brownie points for being
- 13:39modest. Like who could be the most
- 13:41modest? Because that somehow translates
- 13:43to like your value as a person, which again, in my opinion could
- 13:46be kind of male centered because like, who are you being modest
- 13:48for? Like why are we translating how
- 13:49people dress and like the way that they dress with someone's
- 13:53inherent value? Because the real problem here
- 13:54revolves around like the ability to choose what you dress.
- 13:57Because at the end of the day, the fault isn't like dressing a
- 13:59certain way. It's being told how you should
- 14:01dress, especially because the conversation is catered to
- 14:04centering men. And I do think that sometimes
- 14:07immodesty is presented as always being more authentic, as always
- 14:11being more stylish, as always being this kind of like a few to
- 14:14the world, a few to people policing your body.
- 14:17It's like this, this narrative of like, I'm going to allow my
- 14:20body to exist and I'm going to allow my body to be out there.
- 14:21And I'm not going to allow, you know, these crazy Christian
- 14:23religious people to tell me that I need to be modest and cover up
- 14:25and whatever. And like, that's absolutely
- 14:27true. And there's definitely a time
- 14:28and place for that. But I think like that just ends
- 14:30up becoming its own form of pressuring women on how they
- 14:34should act, how they should dress.
- 14:36Like telling women if you're confident in your body, if you
- 14:38love your body, if you're truly progressive, then you'll be OK
- 14:41showing more skin. Like I always hated growing up
- 14:43and like going to different family functions and seeing how
- 14:45family members would talk about girls and like how they would
- 14:48dress. So the detail is all this time
- 14:49being like, oh, make sure you're not dressing a certain way
- 14:51around certain family members, Which again, goes back to the
- 14:54point we're talking about before about those PDF files.
- 14:56But even generally with how people would speak about women's
- 14:58dress, like you'd always see the old heads dredging the hot flag
- 15:01girl that would be dressed to the nines, not necessarily
- 15:03modestly, but like the alpha would eat.
- 15:04And they call her all types of fast, easy and all these other
- 15:07derogatory terms. And growing up, I always thought
- 15:09that was like an old head thing and like something that like we
- 15:11would replace as we grow up. But now we're circling back.
- 15:15We're becoming the old heads pushing this modesty and pushing
- 15:17these projections of what we believe these people are like
- 15:19because they don't dress modest. Because the answer to all of
- 15:21this is to dress however you feel comfortable and however you
- 15:24feel confident. But when it comes to this whole
- 15:25conversation around like traditional modesty, the root of
- 15:28it is never actually about how women dress, but rather how men
- 15:31are thinking about what a woman is wearing.
- 15:34You don't sexualize it, you don't suppress it, you just let
- 15:37the perception exist. Admiration without ownership,
- 15:40that's what I'm saying. Curiosity without entitle.
- 15:43Me, that is discipline. That takes discipline.
- 15:46And across the room, she feels something too.
- 15:48The quiet awareness. The quiet awareness of being
- 15:50seen now. Male center modesty would have
- 15:52told her what to do next. That's what I'm about to say.
- 15:55Look down, adjust the dress. Shrink the moment.
- 15:57Because the system says if men and men react badly, you should
- 16:01have predicted it. That's what it teaches women
- 16:02every day. But self anchor modesty looks
- 16:05different, right? Right.
- 16:06Self self anchor modesty does not mean revealing everything.
- 16:09It means your choices come from alignment instead of prediction.
- 16:12You don't hide because men might react, and you don't perform
- 16:14because men might approve. You simply exist in a way that
- 16:16feels right to exist. Because that's how it was
- 16:19traditionally. And now we have like fresh and
- 16:21thick kind of man, the man that nobody really wants, by the way,
- 16:24telling women how to dress and telling men how women should
- 16:27dress to be high value. Like this is regression before
- 16:31our very eyes. And my final point in this
- 16:37conversation has to do with what we talked about before is
- 16:39specifically getting into why traditionalism and why being a
- 16:42tried wife or a traditional woman is so in right now.
- 16:45Getting into what the appeal really is, but also why this
- 16:48isn't the answer. Because like I was saying
- 16:50before, the girlys are up. Women at large are more
- 16:52successful and are able to provide for themselves.
- 16:54Women excel in academia, they excel in the workplace and
- 16:57generally have very fulfilling social lives.
- 16:59And in comparison to how modern men are doing, the girlys really
- 17:02are up. And it's just interesting to
- 17:04note that like, because of the patriarchy and because of like,
- 17:07the dying breath of like the old world order where men have
- 17:09historically been at the top, it feels like this last wave of
- 17:12psychological warfare are trying to convince women at large to
- 17:15dampen their own lives and to mute their own success to be
- 17:18able to meet men where they are generally and to be subservient
- 17:21and traditional to them. Which is crazy to me because,
- 17:24for one, we talked about this in like the traditional man video.
- 17:26If you truly want a traditional body, you need to be traditional
- 17:29yourself. And in this current world,
- 17:30that's not very realistic. But like, if you want it to be
- 17:33real for you, you got to be really pushing it because the
- 17:35competition is stiff. Like the pendulum has fully
- 17:37swung from like the 2010's girl boss life to the 2020 Strad
- 17:40wife. And that's crazy to me.
- 17:42But that also kind of makes sense.
- 17:44The trad wife trend is a response to the failed girl boss
- 17:46movement of the 2010 S, but maybe not in the way you think.
- 17:49The girl boss era was marketed hard to millennial women was
- 17:52this entire culture built around.
- 17:54You can have it all if you just hustle harder and get like a she
- 17:56EO mug. But at its core, girl boss
- 17:59feminism pretty much just said, look, white women can patriarchy
- 18:01too, while doing nothing to address the systemic barriers
- 18:04that prevent women from she EO unpaid labor, a lack of paid
- 18:08leave, unaffordable childcare, wage gaps, white supremacy,
- 18:11misogynoir, capitalism. So when women inevitably burned
- 18:15out, the same system said let's try to sell Gen.
- 18:17Z women on the trad wife. Because no shade, I get it.
- 18:20Like this current dating pool is so bad I would also turn to
- 18:23religious psychosis. But I promise you idealizing the
- 18:26nuclear family in the days of times past is not the answer
- 18:29because contrary to popular online belief, having a husband,
- 18:32a nuclear family and rage and gender roles are not going to
- 18:35solve the issue and are not going to save you.
- 18:36Like y'all don't want to hear it.
- 18:38But all this is directly in line with the make America great
- 18:40again sentiments. Like yes, let's go back to a
- 18:43time to before when women had choices legally, culturally or
- 18:46socially. Like what?
- 18:47What are we what are we talking about?
- 18:49And speaking generally, this whole conversation around like
- 18:51being a traditional man, being a traditional woman is just so sad
- 18:54to me because I feel like these conversations really trap people
- 18:57in such a binary. And this is where as a queer
- 18:59person, a, it's so interesting to witness from an outside
- 19:02perspective. Like of course the queer
- 19:03community has its own issues when it comes to gender
- 19:05expression and gender roles, but like for this traditional push,
- 19:09this is mostly a straight person conversation.
- 19:12I had, like, a borderline homophobic conversation this
- 19:14weekend with these two straight guys who kept trying to, like,
- 19:16pry for tragedy. They were like, was it just,
- 19:19like, so hard growing up? And I was like, I mean, yeah, my
- 19:21parents were conservative, but like, I don't really give a
- 19:22fuck. I was like doing what I wanted
- 19:24to do by 50. Like no, he was like, is it just
- 19:27is it really hard to like find to date?
- 19:29And I was like, no, like I get to hook up with people without
- 19:33having to take them to dinner. No, it's I have a great time.
- 19:37And he was like, but like stability, like can you find?
- 19:39And I was. Like, yes, we're talking.
- 19:41About human beings, like people want to date, people want to be
- 19:44in a relationship. Like it's we're not, we're not a
- 19:46different species. Like there are similarities,
- 19:49There are differences. And he was like, but does it
- 19:50feel like you guys can like, can find a path?
- 19:52And I was like, yeah, I was like, I would actually flip it
- 19:55and say that like, it's harder for straight people because
- 19:57sometimes you guys are on this road and on this track that you
- 20:00didn't consent to. There's like a quintessential
- 20:03stereotypical American bingo card of like, go to college, but
- 20:06get find a partner, get a mortgage, have a baby.
- 20:08Like, And then that's why I think so many of these like
- 20:10midlife crises happen because these people wake up at 40 and
- 20:12they're like, I actually didn't want any of this.
- 20:14I just felt compelled to do that.
- 20:15And I think this one TikTok does a great job of like explaining
- 20:18what I'm kind of talking about here, where it's just like
- 20:21really sad to see so many people in times of uncertainty and
- 20:24unrest, push so hard for this, like gender Larping, like really
- 20:29wanting to play out your gender, being trapped in that binary of
- 20:32being like, oh, if I'm a girl, I have to be like this type.
- 20:34Or if I'm a guy, I have to be like this, like, free yourself
- 20:36from your shackles. People.
- 20:38Like everybody needs to get gayer right now.
- 20:40Like Jude is almost here. This is your chance.
- 20:42Get gayer now computer. Make this one gayer right in
- 20:47meow. But in all seriousness, the
- 20:49general conversation around traditionalism and around these
- 20:52heteronormative ideals for the type of person you should be to
- 20:56attract a partner or to have a good quality of life are
- 20:58incredibly outdated. And again, I understand why it
- 21:01feels like we need to regress in order to meet the times that
- 21:05we're living in now, but that's just not the answer.
- 21:07Like traditionalism has not saved anyone ever because even
- 21:11in those traditional lifestyles, no one generally was happy.
- 21:15I mean, maybe the white men were, but nobody else in the
- 21:18traditional landscape was truly happy and or had any type of
- 21:22autonomy. So while I'm not gonna tell you
- 21:24what to do with your life because hey, it's your life, I
- 21:27would just advise to take a deeper look into what exactly it
- 21:30is that you're looking for in life, why you want what you
- 21:32want, and whether or not being a trap, whatever is going to solve
- 21:36that for you. Because it's most certainly not
- 21:38for me.
