  SPEAKER_01: Now I want to go uh before the Echo Park races next year to the Atlanta Aquarium and dive with a whale shark.

  SPEAKER_01: So I'm already researching my next uh dive adventures and trying to uh do it around these NASCAR races.

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the Atlanta Aquarium, if you've never been there, folks, it is phenomenal.

  SPEAKER_00: And Ty Gibbs was able to hold off a late charge from Christopher Bell.

  SPEAKER_00: And now we get ready to head to one of NASCAR's oldest tracks, and that is Richmond Raceway.

  SPEAKER_00: And things are looking up for our short track aces, but I don't know if I would put any money on Ty Gibbs this week, even though he won last week at a short track.

  SPEAKER_00: Andrew, what are you thinking as we get ready to go to Virginia and another great race coming up here before the end of the regular season?

  SPEAKER_01: You'd be foolish to not be thinking about Austin Dillon and this being his week.

  SPEAKER_01: Uh that's that's at the top of my mind.

  SPEAKER_01: And and I know that his crew chief Richard Boswell was on Sirius XM earlier this week saying, you know, I know we've got a target on our backs.

  SPEAKER_01: And there's a reason he's won this race two years in a row.

  SPEAKER_01: Um, obviously, the first time around that he won it, it was a controversial finish, but he was the best car that night.

  SPEAKER_01: I think you'd be foolish to not look at Austin Dillon to once again find a way to steal a race and win this race.

  SPEAKER_01: Um, I know the format is different, but there's just something magic that goes on with these Richmond cars at the RCR camp.

  SPEAKER_01: And he's plus 1,200 to win.

  SPEAKER_01: I feel like that is that's some really good juice on a guy that you wouldn't expect to win really any other weekend, but when you come to Richmond, you think of Austin Dillon.

  SPEAKER_01: This is his wheelhouse and it's his track, and I think you'd be foolish to ignore that.

  SPEAKER_00: And last week I had a few bets for that three team and RCR and Austin Dillon, and they both hit.

  SPEAKER_00: And I think it's time to go back to that well.

  SPEAKER_00: He's the only active driver that has consecutive wins at Richmond.

  SPEAKER_00: The closest one to him was Kyle Bush, Martin Tricks Jr., and Jimmy Johnson, but those guys aren't racing anymore.

  SPEAKER_00: And so he's the only active one to win back-to-back races right now out of this group of drivers that we have in the Cup Series.

  SPEAKER_00: So for me, I'm looking at Austin Dillon to top five.

  SPEAKER_00: I know that the juice is really good to squeeze on him to win at plus 1200.

  SPEAKER_00: I think the top five is almost a, it's gonna happen, almost a perfect hit, minus some kind of catastrophe and him getting mired back in a wreck or something of that nature.

  SPEAKER_00: So that's another solid, solid bet for Austin Dillon.

  SPEAKER_00: And like I said a little bit before, I know Ty Gibbs has been really good at the short tracks.

  SPEAKER_00: I think you need to stay away from him, even though he's got a lot of momentum coming in to Richmond Raceway.

  SPEAKER_00: I know that we didn't really talk much about Ty Gibbs last week on the betcast, but if you're looking at him, I just caution you.

  SPEAKER_01: Now, there's another Austin that I've got my eye on at Richmond, and that is Austin Sindrick.

  SPEAKER_01: Finished in the top 10 in both stages, um, and he's plus 215 to top five.

  SPEAKER_01: Uh, and I've I'll I'll go on a little bit of a roll here and just explain the rest of my thought processes, but um I've heard from a handful of drivers talking to them at North Wilkesboro that North Wilkesboro and Richmond for some reason remind them of the other track.

  SPEAKER_01: Like there's they s there seem to be a lot of similarities between North Wilkesboro and Richmond.

  SPEAKER_01: We'll look at the Penske car that won North Wilkesboro in a dominating fashion, Joey Logano, who also finished fourth last year and was one you know straight away away from winning this race that Austin Dillon ended up winning back uh in twenty twenty-four when Austin Dillon wrecked Joey Logano.

  SPEAKER_01: And if we're sticking on the trend of North Wilkesboro and Richmond, we'll race similar.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm putting the money on Logano at minus 115 in that matchup, and I think that it will be pretty strong.

  SPEAKER_00: There's two other matchups that I'm looking at, and then another top 10, and I'm probably going to take these matchups and put them into a parlay.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to maximize as much of these units as I can, and I think both of these matchups have a good probability of hitting, and they've got some good odds.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm going to pick Christopher Bell versus Denny Hamlin in a head-to-head matchup.

  SPEAKER_00: If you look at the top 10 averages and who runs here finishing position, it's Denny Hamlin and then Christopher Bell.

  SPEAKER_00: I know the sample size is much bigger for Denny Hamlin, but Christopher Bell has a ton of momentum coming into this race, and I think he could finish ahead of Denny Hamlin at Richmond.

  SPEAKER_00: The next matchup, the third matchup in this three-leg parlay, is two teammates again head to head, and that is Chase Elliott versus William Byron.

  SPEAKER_01: And one bet that I am purposely leaving out this week that I normally do is$1 on Tyler Reddick, because um if it was one dollar for Tyler Reddick to DNF, I think I would take that bet, but uh that one's not available.

  SPEAKER_01: But yeah, just it's interesting how the season ebbs and flows and um how momentum and track history both play into it all.

  SPEAKER_01: So um it's been fun to it's been fun to try to predict, especially when you get it right.

  SPEAKER_01: I've been looking at the pick'em standings, and I think I've picked three winners this year when you can only pick one driver once at one racetrack.

  SPEAKER_01: And so that's what makes it fun, is is now I'm gonna root for Austin Hill this weekend, try to get me some points at Richmond to extend my points lead and pick them.
