- 0:00Speaker 1: Dancing in the country, going to do splashing probably if
- 0:02Speaker 1: you're dancing in the country in North Florida, especially in
- 0:05Speaker 1: the panhandle. We're not making any light of that because
- 0:07Speaker 1: we've got a mess coming your way there. Yeah, definitely
- 0:09Speaker 1: a rainy weekend here as well. So Megan and I
- 0:13Speaker 1: are really big in a spooky season.
- 0:15Speaker 2: John?
- 0:16Speaker 1: Not so much. Not so much.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Not so much. No, but everybody's got their thing. Are
- 0:19Speaker 2: you watching horror movies yet?
- 0:21Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. We watch them year-round.
- 0:23Speaker 2: We just watch. We do. How many horror movies do
- 0:26Speaker 2: you think you consume? At least one a day. Really?
- 0:31Speaker 2: I didn't know they made that many.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Sometimes we'll have two on. Okay. We always go to
- 0:35Speaker 3: bed watching a scary movie. I like to watch the
- 0:38Speaker 3: murder ones before bed. I don't know what that says
- 0:40Speaker 3: about me.
- 0:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it's saying more about you than the movies. No,
- 0:44Speaker 4: I love Halloween season. We've been watching scary movies, got
- 0:46Speaker 4: the house all decorated. So I think you'll really like this, Megan.
- 0:49Speaker 4: There's a guy in Los Angeles that is running a
- 0:51Speaker 4: horror-themed convenience store.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Check this out. This is owner and curator Eric Wessel.
- 0:57Speaker 5: So I own a store called the Mystic Museum, which
- 1:00Speaker 5: is a horror immersive experience and gift shop. I just
- 1:04Speaker 5: felt like I needed a change and do something a
- 1:06Speaker 5: lot more whimsical, a lot more fun. I wanted to
- 1:09Speaker 5: do something retro. So he actually has, it's a convenience
- 1:12Speaker 5: store you go into and you have to experience it
- 1:15Speaker 5: if you're just going to go get a Coke. Yeah,
- 1:17Speaker 5: they've got food. John's worst nightmare.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I thought it was bad enough I had to wade
- 1:32Speaker 1: through all the vape stuff just to pay for something.
- 1:35Speaker 4: No, this place has food that has played a role
- 1:38Speaker 4: in scary movies, Halloween-themed food. Imagine you get a Twinkie
- 1:42Speaker 4: that looks like a severed finger.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I'm all about it.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Wait, where is this again?
- 1:46Speaker 2: It's in Los Angeles.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Dang it. We should set Froggy up and make him
- 1:50Speaker 3: think he won some kind of cool vacation so he
- 1:53Speaker 3: gets in there because he's so easily scared.
- 1:55Speaker 1: He would lose his mind. That would be it. As
- 1:58Speaker 1: long as we have video, we are in business.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I don't know. There's some convenience stores here in town
- 2:02Speaker 4: we could send Froggy to and that would be pretty scary.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Country 99.1 WQIK with a big show.
