Speaker 6: to the folks from the West Side Neighborhood Association, and
1:43
Speaker 6: who knows, I haven't gone off on a good rant
1:45
Speaker 6: in a while, so maybe I'll do that a little
1:47
Speaker 6: bit later on. I do want to mention this. I
1:51
Speaker 6: had said that we were going to talk to some
1:55
Speaker 6: folks from Saint Albans about an upcoming chili event that
1:57
Speaker 6: they have that has actually been moved Wednesday, the seventeenth.
2:02
Speaker 6: We'll get to it, but it won't be till then.
2:03

2:05

2:16
Speaker 6: The final regular season homestand for the Dirty Birds over
2:19
Speaker 6: at Gomar Ballpark, they begin a long homestand against Gastonia.
2:22
Speaker 6: The the Ghost Peppers' gearing from the Dirty Birds is
2:25
Speaker 6: here to talk about. Hey, Jill, how you going?
2:27
Speaker 2: Oh?
2:27
Speaker 6: Good morning the Ghost Peppers.
2:29
Speaker 9: Yeah, the Ghost Peppers.
2:31
Speaker 6: Is that a relatively new name for our opponents?
2:33
Speaker 2: Sir?
2:33
Speaker 9: Yes, they changed it this year. Actually last year they
2:36
Speaker 9: went through a new ownership, so they were just called
2:38
Speaker 9: the Gastonia Baseball Club and they tested out about six
2:41
Speaker 9: different alternate identities or potential identities than they did a
2:45
Speaker 9: fan vote, and the Ghost Peppers won.
2:47
Speaker 6: Well, I kind of like it. I mean it's it's different, yeah,
2:50
Speaker 6: and that's in the world of baseball. I mean that's
2:52
Speaker 6: what everybody wants. They want these different name like the
2:55
Speaker 6: Honey Badgers and what's the most unique name you've ever heard?
2:58
Speaker 9: Ooh?
3:00
Speaker 6: I mean it's kind of a.
3:01
Speaker 4: That's a hard one.
3:01
Speaker 9: I mean, the Dirty Birds is one that a lot
3:03
Speaker 9: of people definitely remember there.
3:06
Speaker 6: Were And that's the thing. When the name changed happened
3:09
Speaker 6: a couple of years ago, there was a little controversy
3:10
Speaker 6: about it whatever, And I said then and you and
3:12
Speaker 6: the other folks said that The thing about it is
3:15
Speaker 6: is people that are really into baseball on the non
3:19
Speaker 6: non big league level, they love these unique names. And
3:22
Speaker 6: it's about the merchandise. And I promise you people have
3:25
Speaker 6: ordered Dirty Birds merchandise that couldn't find Charleston, West Virginia
3:28
Speaker 6: on a map exactly.
3:29
Speaker 9: I know someone at least from Oregon. I remember specifically
3:31
Speaker 9: filling one from Oregon last week.
3:33
Speaker 6: People go online and they just looked for it for
3:35
Speaker 6: these unique things. Yeah, all right, So it's a final
3:37
Speaker 6: homestand gets underway tonight. Talk about the season over off
3:40
Speaker 6: the Dirty Bard. It's not exactly where we wanted to be,
3:43
Speaker 6: but still fun. No job.
3:45
Speaker 9: Yeah, so, no no playoffs this year, unfortunately. I know
3:48
Speaker 9: we had high hopes after going to the championship game
3:51
Speaker 9: last season, but this is PJ. Phillips, our manager, only
3:54
Speaker 9: his second time in his managerial career to not make
3:57
Speaker 9: the playoffs. So we know next year he's going to
4:00
Speaker 9: come back and have a great team for us. But overall,
4:04
Speaker 9: we've had a great time at the stadium. Weather was
4:06
Speaker 9: a little iffy, lot of rain, a lot of hot days,
4:09
Speaker 9: but the boys still had a great time. Any fan
4:11
Speaker 9: that did come to the ballpark, I hope that you
4:12
Speaker 9: all had a good time and you got six more
4:14
Speaker 9: days to come back out and enjoy some baseball.
4:16
Speaker 6: Let's take it day by day. What's you got going
4:18
Speaker 6: on tonight?
4:18
Speaker 9: So today is our two dollars Tuesdays it's usually two
4:22
Speaker 9: dollar tickets hot dog, soda, popcorn, but we are partnering
4:26
Speaker 9: with Mountaineer Food Bank where if you bring three canned
4:29
Speaker 9: food items you get to have a free ticket to
4:33
Speaker 9: the ball game. So it is cheaper than two dollars
4:35
Speaker 9: depending on where you go get your canned food items,
4:38
Speaker 9: and you're helping give back to the community.
4:40
Speaker 6: And that's a big part of what the Dirty Birds do. Yeah,
4:42
Speaker 6: I mean it's I mean from this event to we'll
4:46
Speaker 6: be over there in October for annual or not backpack
4:50
Speaker 6: attack or trick or beat. I should say I get
4:52
Speaker 6: our events mixed up sometimes and selango loll light the
4:54
Speaker 6: night you folks in this and Andy Shay and all that.
4:56
Speaker 6: I mean, you really like giving back to the community, definitely,
4:59
Speaker 6: I mean that.
4:59
Speaker 9: That's frankly why here. Andy. She called me up about
5:01
Speaker 9: two years ago and said, I need someone to help
5:05
Speaker 9: handle our community relations. Will you come and do that?
5:07
Speaker 9: And that's that's why I'm here in Charleston right now,
5:09
Speaker 9: is to help build that community aspect of the team.
5:13
Speaker 6: There's not a single event I can think of around
5:15
Speaker 6: Charleston that you guys aren't part of.
5:17
Speaker 10: Either.
5:17
Speaker 6: You've got Dusty the mascot out there. You yourself show up,
5:20
Speaker 6: other people show up. I know when we did the
5:22
Speaker 6: backpack attack a couple of weeks ago. I mean it
5:24
Speaker 6: was like one hundred degrees out there, and Dusty was
5:26
Speaker 6: out there, you know, being Dusty. We made sure Dusty
5:29
Speaker 6: was hydrated, Yes exactly. Let Dusty go inside the building,
5:33
Speaker 6: you know from time to time. All right, So that's
5:34
Speaker 6: what's happening tonight. Let's go to Wednesday.
5:36
Speaker 9: Tomorrow is our Wolf Wednesday. Your dogs can come to
5:40
Speaker 9: the ballpark for free and there will be a little
5:42
Speaker 9: water bowls sometimes the little giveaways, depending on what community
5:45
Speaker 9: partners we have there. Thursday is actually kind of a
5:49
Speaker 9: newer promotion. Most teams do a fan appreciation night on
5:52
Speaker 9: the last game of the season. We decided to do
5:54
Speaker 9: it on Thursday. So we have some partners coming out
5:57
Speaker 9: to give free items. You can get some free dirty Birds, morece,
6:00
Speaker 9: some free coupons from McDonald's, free coupons from Dave and
6:03
Speaker 9: Busters and some other community partners that we have. And
6:08
Speaker 9: also Thursdays are always thirsty Thursdays, so it is one
6:12
Speaker 9: dollar beer and water from five thirty to seven thirty,
6:15
Speaker 9: then it increases to four dollars. So that's Thursdays. Friday
6:19
Speaker 9: is our last giveaway, and as you mentioned, Selingo Law
6:23
Speaker 9: Light the Night is coming up. We're kind of doing
6:25
Speaker 9: a giveaway surrounding that. So the first five hundred fans
6:28
Speaker 9: get a shirt that says Naughty List MVP with the
6:32
Speaker 9: Hay image of Dusty. And also that's the first five hundred,
6:36
Speaker 9: but every single fan that walks through the gates on
6:38
Speaker 9: Friday get a free Selingo Law Light the Night ticket
6:41
Speaker 9: to opening nights on November twenty first.
6:43
Speaker 6: And I do want to mention and you and I
6:44
Speaker 6: were talking about this off the air that the Selango
6:47
Speaker 6: Law White Dit is covered up, bigger, better, stronger, faster,
6:51
Speaker 6: you know, all the all the stuff that you talk about,
6:53
Speaker 6: But now would be a good time to go online
6:56
Speaker 6: and get those tickets.
6:57
Speaker 9: Correct, So if you come to the game on Friday,
7:00
Speaker 9: we'll get a free ticket to opening night only, but
7:03
Speaker 9: we do have it's open November twenty first, all the
7:05
Speaker 9: way through January first, except for Christmas Day on the
7:08
Speaker 9: twenty fifth, So you can get your tickets at Dblightthnight
7:12
Speaker 9: dot com if you want to get your tickets early.
7:14
Speaker 6: And it's and why should people get their tickets early?
7:17
Speaker 6: What's the advantage to that other than the lines.
7:20
Speaker 9: It is cheaper. You usually save a dollar.
7:22
Speaker 6: That's a good one at least.
7:23
Speaker 9: And we haven't necessarily sold out, but there was that
7:29
Speaker 9: one Saturday where we basically did because there was eleven
7:31
Speaker 9: thousand people in the ballpark at one time. So if
7:35
Speaker 9: you want to come to a Friday or Saturday game,
7:37
Speaker 9: not game Friday or Saturday night, I recommend getting your
7:40
Speaker 9: tickets early. Or if you know that your family's coming
7:42
Speaker 9: in town for Thanksgiving for Christmas, that's the time to
7:45
Speaker 9: make sure you get your tickets now because it is cheaper,
7:47
Speaker 9: all right.
7:48
Speaker 6: The gain we're talking with Joe garn to the Dirty Birds,
7:50
Speaker 6: but Dave Alan Chilling five eighty Live is brought to
7:52
Speaker 6: you in part by Hustin's Pizza. With this month, at
7:55
Speaker 6: your local Hustand's you can get a large eten inch
7:57
Speaker 6: pepperoni pizza and an order of six meat balls twenty
7:59
Speaker 6: four now nine dinand deliver your pickup. Visit Hudson's Pizza
8:02
Speaker 6: dot com. So every fan that comes to the gate
8:04
Speaker 6: on Friday is going to get a free ticket for
8:06
Speaker 6: opening night for Slango Law Light the night November the
8:09
Speaker 6: twenty first, that's opening night. Take it from there while
8:11
Speaker 6: we get on Saturday.
8:12
Speaker 11: Saturday is our.
8:13
Speaker 9: Last fireworks game of the season, and it's usually the
8:17
Speaker 9: biggest one. Everyone thinks that our July fourth or July
8:19
Speaker 9: third game is the biggest fireworks is actually our last one.
8:22
Speaker 9: And for those of you who remember in May our
8:25
Speaker 9: first fireworks night had to be canceled because of rain.
8:29
Speaker 9: Every single firework that we purchased for that one is
8:31
Speaker 9: being used for this Saturday, so it's going to be
8:34
Speaker 9: two times as big. So last Saturday Fireworks and then
8:38
Speaker 9: Sunday our final game of the season. A three o'clock
8:41
Speaker 9: Star and it is Grandparents' Day presented by ARP. So
8:44
Speaker 9: you can go to our social media or on the
8:47
Speaker 9: website and you can sign up with your grandchildren to
8:50
Speaker 9: be a part of something in game, whether you want
8:52
Speaker 9: to sit in the bullpen for a half inning, whether
8:54
Speaker 9: you want to be the playball kid throughout the first pitch,
8:57
Speaker 9: be a guest broadcaster for an inning. We have a
8:59
Speaker 9: lot of fun, free things that you can sign up
9:02
Speaker 9: as a grandparent and grandchild.
9:03
Speaker 6: And of course that doesn't end the season. That just
9:06
Speaker 6: sends the homestand and then you have games next week
9:09
Speaker 6: on the road.
9:09
Speaker 9: Correct, The Boys go on the road Tuesday through Thursday
9:12
Speaker 9: against high Point and then that's it.
9:14
Speaker 6: All right, Let's talk about the playoffs, even though the
9:16
Speaker 6: Birds aren't going to be there. Who are the teams
9:18
Speaker 6: we're looking at? And course, you know, the Birds made
9:20
Speaker 6: it to the to the series so to speak, last year.
9:24
Speaker 6: Unfortunately they lost. But let's talk about who the teams
9:27
Speaker 6: are that we're looking at.
9:28
Speaker 2: Me.
9:28
Speaker 9: Yeah, it's still a race right now for some of
9:30
Speaker 9: the teams. So the two teams that made it in
9:32
Speaker 9: the first half is Lancaster and high Point, who the
9:34
Speaker 9: Boys are going to go face next week. Gastonia right
9:38
Speaker 9: now is in first place, in the South, so these
9:41
Speaker 9: games do matter where the dirty words canna have a
9:43
Speaker 9: little bit of pride. Where we frankly have been having
9:46
Speaker 9: a rough time against Gastonia. I don't mean statistically, I
9:49
Speaker 9: mean there has been some beef between the guys, so
9:52
Speaker 9: there's going to be some pride. Yeah, some bench clears
9:54
Speaker 9: a little bit against And.
9:56
Speaker 6: Now you've piqued my interest even more, even though I
9:58
Speaker 6: love baseball. So what's so, what's happened here, Joe?
10:01
Speaker 9: It's funny. I was talking to one of the guys
10:03
Speaker 9: last night and they said that the coaching staff is great,
10:06
Speaker 9: but the Gastonia players just seem to be a little
10:09
Speaker 9: more chirpy, little mouth uh huh. And you know, when
10:11
Speaker 9: when you got nothing to lose, your few games back
10:14
Speaker 9: from first place, the dirty birds are not going to
10:16
Speaker 9: go down with the fight. So they're I think they
10:19
Speaker 9: would take some great pride in saying that they sent
10:21
Speaker 9: Gastonia home early a.
10:22
Speaker 6: Couple of brushbacks here and there. I mean, we don't
10:24
Speaker 6: want to encourage that sort of thing, but it makes
10:27
Speaker 6: it more interesting.
10:28
Speaker 9: You go the right and these these guys are they're
10:31
Speaker 9: young athletes, they're what late early twenties, late twenties early thirties.
10:35
Speaker 9: They're athletes, they're competitive. One of the guys, Demetrius More
10:38
Speaker 9: He says, I don't know what happens that they just
10:40
Speaker 9: start chirping at me, and I can just feel this
10:42
Speaker 9: adrenaline surge. And for those of you who are athletes listening,
10:45
Speaker 9: you you know that feeling.
10:46
Speaker 6: Exactly exactly all right. So, uh, we got a text
10:49
Speaker 6: your somebody ask if we plan on doing anything for
10:52
Speaker 6: September eleventh. Do we have anything, any plan, any anything plan.
10:56
Speaker 9: Nothing crazy? But yes, of course, of course we're gonna
10:58
Speaker 9: have something planned for nine to eleven. As I said,
11:00
Speaker 9: that's our fan appreciation night. We are going to do
11:01
Speaker 9: a moment of silence per usual. We did actually just
11:04
Speaker 9: buy a new American flag, so that will be up
11:07
Speaker 9: and flying during the week as well.
11:09
Speaker 6: And we want to make sure people realize that this Saturday.
11:11
Speaker 6: By the way, the weather is going to be great,
11:13
Speaker 6: you know, I mean neck, I mean through. It's going
11:17
Speaker 6: to be kind of a repeat of what we had.
11:19
Speaker 6: We may have suffered early on with storms and lightning
11:22
Speaker 6: and whatever, but there's no rain in which we need
11:25
Speaker 6: some rain. But if you're coming out to the ballpark,
11:28
Speaker 6: the weather's going to be fantastic, not too it's actually
11:30
Speaker 6: gonna warm up a little bit by the weekend. It's
11:32
Speaker 6: going to feel more like summer, which it is technically, Jill.
11:34
Speaker 2: Still summer, Still summer.
11:35
Speaker 9: I keep telling my coworkers that it's still summer until
11:38
Speaker 9: September twenty second. But yeah, so we want rain. But
11:41
Speaker 9: the rain can start on Monday of next week.
11:43
Speaker 6: Or maybe before the game or whatever, because you get
11:45
Speaker 6: to turf and it's not nearly as big a deal.
11:47
Speaker 6: The rain is not as big a deal as the
11:48
Speaker 6: lightning is. And that's unfortunately what we saw last Friday
11:51
Speaker 6: night with high school football in the area. But we appreciate,
11:55
Speaker 6: we appreciate you being here. And what I was saying
11:57
Speaker 6: about the weather is, the weather's going to be fantastic.
12:00
Speaker 6: And Mega Mega super blast fireworks on Saturday night. You
12:03
Speaker 6: can blow them all out exactly.
12:05
Speaker 9: It's going to be a lot of fun.
12:06
Speaker 4: I'm excited.
12:07
Speaker 9: The end of the season is always bittersweet for us,
12:09
Speaker 9: where we've put in all this work and we want
12:12
Speaker 9: our fans to make sure that they feel appreciated that
12:14
Speaker 9: they had a good time this season.
12:15
Speaker 6: All right, Jill, It's always a pleasure to talk to you,
12:17
Speaker 6: and again the season of fish wins. The last game
12:19
Speaker 6: of the season, the.
12:20
Speaker 9: Last game for at home is this Sunday, but then
12:24
Speaker 9: the Boys go on the road to high Point. So
12:25
Speaker 9: if you can't come this weekend and you want to
12:27
Speaker 9: go watch the Boys playing High Point, you can make
12:28
Speaker 9: that drive. I'll be making that drive.
12:30
Speaker 6: It's not far, it's not far. Just drove a little
12:32
Speaker 6: less than four hours drove by there, not long ago.
12:35
Speaker 6: So and we also want to remind you that we
12:37
Speaker 6: do have Selangol law Light the Night coming up to
12:39
Speaker 6: the ballpark. Starts on November twenty first, and again, if
12:41
Speaker 6: you come out to the game on Friday night, you're
12:43
Speaker 6: going to get a free ticket to get into the
12:46
Speaker 6: Selango law Light the Night. You can go online and
12:48
Speaker 6: get your tickets now for that. We would highly encourage
12:51
Speaker 6: that because it's going to be much bigger, much It
12:53
Speaker 6: was great last year and the year before, but it's
12:55
Speaker 6: going to be huge this year. And before you know it,
12:58
Speaker 6: we're going to be silent night and jingle belling all
13:01
Speaker 6: over the place over there. So we'll see you there
13:03
Speaker 6: and we'll talk to you several times. So it's been
13:05
Speaker 6: a pleasure having you on this season.
13:06
Speaker 9: Though, absolutely, Thank you, Dave.
13:08
Speaker 4: It's been fun.
13:08
Speaker 6: You're sticking around, aren't you anywhere? Okay? Making sure, Okay,
13:12
Speaker 6: I'm here, I'm here, all right. It is a nine
13:14
Speaker 6: to twenty. But Dave Allen Show on five eighty Live

13:43
Speaker 12: Seasons are changing, the kids are back in school, and
13:46
Speaker 12: cooler weather is on the way. But one thing that
13:48
Speaker 12: always remains consistent is the car buying experience at Walker

14:03

14:09

14:12
Speaker 12: buying cars too. Now All makes and models are welcome,
14:14
Speaker 12: and they'll give you a top dollar for it, even
14:17
Speaker 12: if you plan to buy somewhere else.
14:19
Speaker 6: But why would you?
14:20
Speaker 3: You know?
14:20
Speaker 12: It's good to know that in a world full of
14:21
Speaker 12: constant change, there are some things that remain consistent and
14:25
Speaker 12: that some car dealers still believe in treating you like
14:28
Speaker 12: a friend with a smile and a HANDSHAKEE head to

14:47
Speaker 14: Dick Durbin, And now Dick Durbin has a new scheme,
14:50
Speaker 14: a government takeover of your credit card. Today, consumers have
14:54
Speaker 14: thousands of choices and credit cards, all with equal strong security.
14:58
Speaker 14: But Durbin's plan is less competition and less security, and
15:02
Speaker 14: that means more risk for your credit and your identity too.
15:06
Speaker 14: Republicans in Congress stop Dick Durbin's takeover of your credit

16:05
Speaker 6: How you doing, girls, We're doing great.
16:07
Speaker 4: Tell me everybody else is having a good morning.
16:09
Speaker 11: So how much to Samantha doing a Yeah, it's Tuesday,
16:11
Speaker 11: I'm here.
16:12
Speaker 6: It's a beautiful day. Yeah, beautiful day in the neighborhood.
16:14
Speaker 6: It's going to be a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
16:16
Speaker 6: For what you guys, A guy going on with the
16:18
Speaker 6: first of all, for people you've been on the show
16:20
Speaker 6: several times for people that don't know. Explain the organization
16:23
Speaker 6: to us, either one of you.
16:24
Speaker 15: So, the West Side Neighborhood Association has been around since
16:26
Speaker 15: nineteen eighty six, and our whole mission is to do
16:30
Speaker 15: beautification and clean up projects along the west Side and
16:33
Speaker 15: empower neighbors.
16:34
Speaker 4: So basically just neighbors getting together with neighbors.
16:37
Speaker 5: Samantha, Yeah, what she said, Yeah, exactly, exactly, just that,
16:42
Speaker 5: and yeah, we we like to make our community as
16:45
Speaker 5: as good as we can, and we do that through
16:47
Speaker 5: cleanups and making it, you know, just a friendly place
16:50
Speaker 5: to live in.
16:50
Speaker 6: Now, the last time I had you on, I think
16:52
Speaker 6: you were talking about your most recent cleanup.
16:54
Speaker 2: Is that?
16:54
Speaker 6: Is that why we had?
16:55
Speaker 3: Ye?
16:55
Speaker 6: How did that go? We just want to kind of good.
16:57
Speaker 15: Yeah, we think we had over fifty people show up
16:59
Speaker 15: for that at one and we cleaned up one of
17:02
Speaker 15: the core places of the west Side and like, yeah, yeah, people,
17:06
Speaker 15: We feed people when they come up to cleanups.
17:08
Speaker 4: We have a good time, We play music, we take photos.
17:10
Speaker 6: It's a good time, always a good time, always a
17:12
Speaker 6: good time on the west Side, the best side, right, Yeah,
17:14
Speaker 6: all right, So what do you got going on? Now?
17:18
Speaker 6: So when I ask now. And when I say, what
17:22
Speaker 6: are you going on now? And she laughs, I'm like,
17:24
Speaker 6: all right, so what's up?
17:29
Speaker 15: We have this wonderful event. Like I said, we do cleanups,
17:32
Speaker 15: and so we were looking at how can we enhance
17:37
Speaker 15: the cleanup, how can we turn it upside down on
17:39
Speaker 15: its head, and so we kind of came up with
17:41
Speaker 15: Magic on Magic Island. It's a date night cleanup event.
17:46
Speaker 11: So whether you're single looking to mingle, or if you
17:50
Speaker 11: just want to make some friends, it's a great way
17:52
Speaker 11: to find people that also care about the community.
17:55
Speaker 6: Okay, And it's when and where.
17:57
Speaker 15: It is Saturday, starting at four thirty, and it is
18:01
Speaker 15: at Magic Island. You will be treated to a wonderful
18:06
Speaker 15: gourmet picnic.
18:07
Speaker 4: Because it's thirty dollars.
18:10
Speaker 15: We'll have a magician roaming around after we do the cleanup,
18:14
Speaker 15: and you'll probably come away with a balloon animal.
18:16
Speaker 4: And if you want your.
18:18
Speaker 15: Tarot cards read, we will have a lovely psychic on
18:22
Speaker 15: hand for you to do that, plus some fun other
18:24
Speaker 15: little activities for get to know each other.
18:28
Speaker 6: I love this because this is just something that you guys,
18:30
Speaker 6: if you've I mean, you've never done anything like this before.
18:32
Speaker 6: I'm going to take I don't know, I anybody's ever
18:34
Speaker 6: done anything those part. So I got to ask, where
18:36
Speaker 6: did the idea come from? Whose idea, Samantha, whose ideaail Me?
18:40
Speaker 4: Who's I think it's both of us. We were just
18:43
Speaker 4: kind of I.
18:44
Speaker 6: Mean, you're packing a lot into this timeframe because you
18:47
Speaker 6: got tarot cards. You threw out the if you're single
18:50
Speaker 6: and want a mingle kind of thing, so you got
18:52
Speaker 6: a love connection thing going on over there. So I know,
18:54
Speaker 6: I just that's show's been off there for forty years.
18:56
Speaker 6: But I'm all so so so so, so let's let's
19:02
Speaker 6: I mean, this is kind of an interesting concept.
19:04
Speaker 16: Yeah.
19:05
Speaker 15: So, I mean, so the single versus friendship thing. You know,
19:08
Speaker 15: we've kind of looked at other dating events where they
19:12
Speaker 15: use the stop light method, where they have you know, red, yellow,
19:16
Speaker 15: and green armbands, so we kind of took it to
19:20
Speaker 15: when you come in to do the cleanup, we give
19:22
Speaker 15: you a different color trash bag depending on what you're
19:24
Speaker 15: looking for. So if you're looking for love, you go
19:26
Speaker 15: find the other people that have pink trash.
19:28
Speaker 6: Bags, Okay, can you go talk to them?
19:30
Speaker 2: Yeah?
19:30
Speaker 11: Or if you just want to be friends blue blue,
19:33
Speaker 11: And then if you just want to like pick up
19:35
Speaker 11: garbage and you're just here. I'm just here for the mission.
19:38
Speaker 11: You get a black cash back.
19:40
Speaker 6: Girls, I'm gonna tell you, I am resisting the temptation
19:44
Speaker 6: when you say picking up garbage to talk about it. Now,
19:47
Speaker 6: I'm not not even going to go there. It's like
19:49
Speaker 6: a it's like a country song going through my head.
19:51
Speaker 6: I'm not even I'm not even going. But it does
19:53
Speaker 6: sound like it'd be a unique band. It really does.
19:55
Speaker 15: Yeah, And what it does is it breaks down the barriers,
19:57
Speaker 15: right like instead of just every thing our interactions being online,
20:02
Speaker 15: you're there. You're meeting people that care about the community,
20:05
Speaker 15: that care about in the environment.
20:06
Speaker 6: Or that's what the bottom line is.
20:07
Speaker 15: Yeah, you have that already taken away, so you have
20:10
Speaker 15: something to talk about, right And like we're gonna have
20:12
Speaker 15: a silly little scavenger hunt. So while you're looking for
20:16
Speaker 15: litter to pick up, you know, you got to be
20:18
Speaker 15: looking for something maybe that's pink or something that's heart shaped,
20:21
Speaker 15: and okay, what other fun things we come up?
20:23
Speaker 6: And again, it just brings no matter you know, how
20:25
Speaker 6: much fun you have or whatever, it's all about. It's
20:28
Speaker 6: all about the organization and it's all about bringing attention
20:32
Speaker 6: and it's and I think it's very interesting that, uh, Samantha,
20:35
Speaker 6: you said that about the about the friendship aspect of it,
20:39
Speaker 6: because we live even in West Virginia, which is probably
20:42
Speaker 6: the friendly Are you both note native West Virginias? Are
20:45
Speaker 6: you both from here.
20:46
Speaker 4: Or been here long enough? I don't know how many
20:47
Speaker 4: years you have to be here?
20:48
Speaker 2: Okay?
20:48
Speaker 11: And I moved here because because the people are so friendly.
20:51
Speaker 6: Okay, Yeah, Well my point is is West Virginia is
20:54
Speaker 6: always known as the friendly state, where the kind of
20:56
Speaker 6: place that you know, you see somebody that's you know,
20:58
Speaker 6: has a flat tire, you stop to help them, you know,
21:00
Speaker 6: you wave it to people that you don't know walking
21:02
Speaker 6: in your neighborhood or whatever. And maybe because of social
21:08
Speaker 6: online activities and things like that, maybe we're a little
21:10
Speaker 6: bit more disconnected than what we used to be, even
21:12
Speaker 6: in West Virginia. But I think it's time to get
21:15
Speaker 6: that back again. And we've even seen it, you know,
21:17
Speaker 6: if you're from a larger city, you know, I got
21:20
Speaker 6: I mean, one of my best friends lives in DC
21:22
Speaker 6: and he tells me, he said, I've lived here for
21:25
Speaker 6: ten years. I have no idea the names of my
21:27
Speaker 6: neighbors at all, none, because people just don't do that
21:30
Speaker 6: as often. It's not that way in West Virginia, but
21:33
Speaker 6: it could get that way because of again, everybody's got
21:36
Speaker 6: a phone in their hand and so on and so forth,
21:38
Speaker 6: and sometimes we don't get to know our neighbors. It's
21:40
Speaker 6: a great way to get to know the people around you.
21:42
Speaker 11: Yeah.
21:43
Speaker 15: Yeah, and especially as you get older too, it gets
21:45
Speaker 15: a little bit more difficult to make friends, right, And
21:47
Speaker 15: so you know, this is another fun aspect of that,
21:50
Speaker 15: because then you might see this person around town, you
21:52
Speaker 15: might run into them at another event, and then you
21:55
Speaker 15: kind of like already.
21:56
Speaker 6: Kind of watching after each other too. And now I
21:58
Speaker 6: don't mean that necessarily that bad stuff's going to have happened,
22:00
Speaker 6: But if you haven't heard from a neighbor in a
22:02
Speaker 6: day or two, you might pick up the phone or
22:03
Speaker 6: go knock on the door, say hey, you haven't seen
22:05
Speaker 6: you out. You know, you're normally out in your yard
22:07
Speaker 6: working on your flowers. Are you making sure everything's okay?
22:10
Speaker 6: Kind of a thing, kind of getting that whole West
22:11
Speaker 6: Virginia vibe.
22:12
Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure, for sure.
22:13
Speaker 15: I mean, my neighbor brings my trash can in for me,
22:16
Speaker 15: time because I forget to get it.
22:19
Speaker 6: Do you forget to put it out? Or do you
22:21
Speaker 6: forget to.
22:22
Speaker 3: Up on top?
22:22
Speaker 4: And then I'm like, let's go inside.
22:24
Speaker 15: And then like three hours have gone by and I
22:26
Speaker 15: hear ed like bringing it down.
22:28
Speaker 6: Yeah, well that's it's good. It's that's kind of that's
22:30
Speaker 6: kind of what we what we do. All right, let's
22:32
Speaker 6: go back to the tarot card. Yes, this is something
22:35
Speaker 6: I know, I know absolutely nothing about. So whose idea
22:39
Speaker 6: was that? Which which one of you? I'm gonna go
22:41
Speaker 6: ahead and guess that this was Do you guess, Samantham?
22:44
Speaker 11: Okay, well, okay, maybe, but it's new a psychic.
22:50
Speaker 6: All right, go ahead.
22:53
Speaker 15: So I knew this girl from around town. In true
22:56
Speaker 15: West Virginia fashion, we thought we were related for a
22:59
Speaker 15: hot minute, and we turned out not to be.
23:02
Speaker 4: So we call each other cause.
23:04
Speaker 6: You don't want to hear at the day. You don't
23:07
Speaker 6: want to hear that you know that we're how close
23:11
Speaker 6: cousins are we? But anyway, go ahead.
23:13
Speaker 15: Yeah, we just thought it would be a fun little
23:15
Speaker 15: activity to do. And Allison of Plutos and Pentacles, We'll
23:20
Speaker 15: just do a quick little reading for singles or couples.
23:23
Speaker 15: And that's an extra charge. But yeah, she's she's there
23:26
Speaker 15: and she's great and she can she's kind of funny.
23:28
Speaker 6: Too, okay, And that's a big part of it too.
23:30
Speaker 6: I mean, these things like this are about having fun.
23:33
Speaker 6: It sounds like your event is fun. And as I
23:35
Speaker 6: was talking to Jill from The Dirty Birds earlier, the
23:38
Speaker 6: weather is going to be, you know, fantastic. I mean,
23:41
Speaker 6: it's going to be really good because we you know,
23:43
Speaker 6: last last week we struggled a little bit with the weather.
23:45
Speaker 6: But we need the rain. I mean, I get that
23:47
Speaker 6: as well. But the weather is going to be great,
23:49
Speaker 6: to be a great night. And it's still as Jill
23:51
Speaker 6: pointed out, it is still officially summer, and it will
23:54
Speaker 6: be till September twenty second day before my birthday. I
23:56
Speaker 6: just knowlew that out there, but I will say that,
24:00
Speaker 6: you know, the the nights are getting longer, They're going
24:02
Speaker 6: to be pretty soon and daylight's going to be disappearing.
24:05
Speaker 6: And maybe by the time you know this this date
24:07
Speaker 6: in January rolls around, when we had three or four
24:09
Speaker 6: inches of snow out on the ground, you're gonna wish
24:11
Speaker 6: that you had got out and taken taking part in
24:13
Speaker 6: these activities because you're starting to wind down.
24:15
Speaker 11: Yeah, it's almost it's what the kids call cuffing season.
24:18
Speaker 11: So you better find someone to snuggle up with before
24:20
Speaker 11: it gets cold.
24:23
Speaker 6: Say what, Ryan, Ryan? Can you help me with this? Ryan?
24:28
Speaker 6: Now he doesn't have any idea either a cuffing season?
24:31
Speaker 6: Am I going to get fired for saying them on
24:33
Speaker 6: you like that? Is that like a term that it
24:36
Speaker 6: is just funcause I don't need to know their HR violation.
24:39
Speaker 6: I don't need to actually coming out here.
24:40
Speaker 15: Again, you're just looking for winter snuggles. I got ya,
24:43
Speaker 15: I got you, I got you, all right, And maybe
24:45
Speaker 15: someone is shovels.
24:46
Speaker 6: Somebody's show that now you're getting Yeah, yeah, you're you're
24:51
Speaker 6: you're attractive at everything. But I'm really more interested in
24:54
Speaker 6: what you can do for me on shoveling the snow
24:56
Speaker 6: or whatever.
24:56
Speaker 11: The guy got you at least lift twenty five pounds.
25:00
Speaker 6: You all right? Also, it sounds like a lot of fun. Again,
25:03
Speaker 6: it's the West Side Neighborhood Association. Give us the details
25:07
Speaker 6: where people can can find out more about it.
25:09
Speaker 15: So you can buy your ticket. If you've loved the
25:12
Speaker 15: idea of this event, you can buy your ticket.

25:30
Speaker 15: you're getting and then the rest.
25:32
Speaker 6: I'm going to go back to the gourmet picnic because
25:34
Speaker 6: you had you had me at food. Okay, what is
25:37
Speaker 6: the constitutes a gourmet picnic?
25:39
Speaker 15: Chef curated. Yeah, so we have chef Brandon Mauser. He
25:43
Speaker 15: has created a menu for us.
25:45
Speaker 6: So this is not going to be you know, your
25:46
Speaker 6: typical hot dogs and potatoes side accountaba hut.
25:48
Speaker 4: Oh no, no, we win, we win a little.
25:50
Speaker 11: Yes, we even have picnic blankets for you to enjoy.
25:53
Speaker 11: The it's a all.
25:56
Speaker 15: Right and one like maybe the sun will be setting
25:58
Speaker 15: right about that time. Like we are creating eating a
26:00
Speaker 15: mood y'all.
26:01
Speaker 6: Mood Yeah, all right for cuffing. All right, So so
26:06
Speaker 6: what's on the menu.
26:08
Speaker 15: Well, the menu is a chicken salad rap with a
26:13
Speaker 15: cherry pepper crem fresh or a full offul with the
26:17
Speaker 15: cherry pepper crem fresh rap, a personal charcouterie bard and
26:26
Speaker 15: a dark chocolate ganache with white chocolate.
26:30
Speaker 6: Chip I mean cookie pie pie.
26:33
Speaker 2: Goodbye.
26:34
Speaker 6: This ain't your grandma's picnic, you know. All right, it
26:38
Speaker 6: all sounds like it's fun. And again all this stuff.
26:41
Speaker 6: We have a lot of fun when you guys are
26:42
Speaker 6: in here. But this is all it's all to go
26:44

26:49

26:50
Speaker 6: people on the West Side. It could be anybody. Have
26:52
Speaker 6: you Have you met your new neighbor our reception, Yeah, yeah,

27:03
Speaker 6: good people. Her her guy is especially I don't know
27:05
Speaker 6: about her, but now, but her dude, her dude's pretty
27:08
Speaker 6: cool and a little bit Yeah, well we'll tell her.
27:12

Speaker 6: Daniel Woods with a story posted this morning over at
35:25
Speaker 6: the website wv metronews dot com. Brock Williams could be
35:29
Speaker 6: spending life behind behind bars. This, of course, is the
35:33
Speaker 6: tobacco shop murder in North Charleston from last year. Yesterday,
35:38
Speaker 6: in the courtroom of Judge Mary Claire Acres, a jury
35:42
Speaker 6: found the fifteen year old kid and I mean, let's
35:47
Speaker 6: face it, that's that's that's what he that's what he is.
35:49
Speaker 6: He's a kid and his accomplice was a kid not
35:53
Speaker 6: being treated like kids because well they did adult like
35:56
Speaker 6: things and they're gonna have to pay for it now.
35:58
Speaker 6: But in Judge Acres courtroom yesyesterday, the fifteen year old
36:02
Speaker 6: Barack Williams guilty of felony murder in connection with the
36:07
Speaker 6: robbery that killed nineteen year old Caden Martin at that
36:13
Speaker 6: vape shop on the north side of Charleston back in
36:15
Speaker 6: twenty twenty four. Williams, of course, as I mentioned, tried
36:19
Speaker 6: as an adult. The automatic sentence is life in prison
36:25
Speaker 6: with the possibility of parole in fifteen years. Now. Williams,
36:31
Speaker 6: they say, apparently was serving as some sort of a
36:34
Speaker 6: lookout during the robbery. And I wasn't in the courtroom.
36:39
Speaker 6: I followed the case just like you did. But Daniel
36:41
Speaker 6: Woods was and we had him on Metro News midday
36:43
Speaker 6: last week and he talked about that. You know, the
36:46
Speaker 6: lawyers in the case were trying to point out that
36:48
Speaker 6: well it was he a mere lookout, as William's attorneys claimed,
36:53
Speaker 6: and didn't know what was going on. But there's several
36:55
Speaker 6: points in the video that you see him opening up
36:57
Speaker 6: the door and looking inside. And I guess jury, and
37:00
Speaker 6: I'm not trying to get into the mind of the
37:01
Speaker 6: jury here, but I guess they figured, well, if he
37:04
Speaker 6: if he opened up the door and kept looking inside,
37:06
Speaker 6: he was more than than than just to look at it.
37:09
Speaker 6: I don't know. But anyway, now, the other kid, the
37:13
Speaker 6: Williams Kid, John Williams Hampton, held the clerk at gunpoint
37:19
Speaker 6: to steal vapes and money from the shop. Williams Hampton
37:22
Speaker 6: was found guilty earlier and sentenced to life with the
37:25
Speaker 6: possibility of parole. And I said this before, I said
37:32
Speaker 6: it when it first happened. You know when I mean
37:34
Speaker 6: when this, when this case first happened, I had I
37:40
Speaker 6: had Kenaw County Prosecutor Deb Rusnick on the show. Then,
37:44
Speaker 6: by the way, programming note, she will be on talk
37:46
Speaker 6: line with the Wilson Meadows coming up today. Regardless of
37:51
Speaker 6: how you feel about this particular story, three young lives
37:57
Speaker 6: were taken, one for ever because he was killed the clerk,
38:04
Speaker 6: but the other two, who were mid teens, tried as adults.
38:10
Speaker 6: Their lives are effectively over to now again. They were
38:13
Speaker 6: both sentenced to life. They're eligible for parole, but I mean,
38:15
Speaker 6: in effect, their lives are over. And it's a sad,
38:19
Speaker 6: sad case all around. And you just you're scratching your
38:23
Speaker 6: head and saying, you know, for what I mean two
38:29
Speaker 6: and I don't know. And I'm not gonna get into,
38:32
Speaker 6: you know, amateur psychologists here and get into what happened,
38:35
Speaker 6: you know, in their family situations. That's not for me
38:39
Speaker 6: to decide or you or anybody else. That was all
38:41
Speaker 6: discussed in court and so on and so forth, I guess,
38:44
Speaker 6: but just wonder, I mean, what when when you're a
38:48
Speaker 6: kid and these are these are these are in effect
38:52
Speaker 6: under the under the eyes of the law. Even though
38:54
Speaker 6: they were tried as adults, these two were children, and
38:57
Speaker 6: they took this other young man who was much older
39:00
Speaker 6: than they were, took his life and in effect ruined
39:06
Speaker 6: his family's life, and then ruined their own lives. And
39:13
Speaker 6: for what it was just just senseless and it's tragic.
39:19
Speaker 6: It's tragic situation all around. Because even if these two do,
39:24
Speaker 6: if they are granted parole in fifteen years or get
39:27
Speaker 6: out on good behavior or whatever, I mean, their their
39:29
Speaker 6: lives are effectively ruined as well. And I'm not saying
39:32
Speaker 6: that they shouldn't be. I mean, you know, kind of
39:34
Speaker 6: hardcore when it comes to crime and punishment and things
39:37
Speaker 6: that people that think I'm a little too liberal. You
39:40
Speaker 6: don't want my opinion when it comes to crime and punishment.
39:42
Speaker 6: All right, you'll you'll do you'll, you'll do a quick turnaround,
39:45

40:34
Speaker 6: I know you like to ramble. I do like to
40:36
Speaker 6: ramble about how Putnham County has the best schools. Well, Fyi,
40:40
Speaker 6: Conawa County has two high schools in the top five
40:42
Speaker 6: of the state. Putnam has won. Take that, pampas Putnam
40:46
Speaker 6: County ins. Look, I want all of our schools to succeed.
40:49
Speaker 6: I live in Putnham County, and I am all things
40:53
Speaker 6: Puttnham County. But I work in Charleston, and I want
40:56
Speaker 6: Canawa County schools to do the best they can. And
40:58
Speaker 6: I want you know, Barber County, and I want all
41:01
Speaker 6: of our schools to do well. But it is true
41:05
Speaker 6: that Putnam County does have some of the best schools
41:07
Speaker 6: in the state. The test scores show it. That's why
41:10
Speaker 6: people want to move there. And there are other counties
41:14
Speaker 6: around the state that have have great schools as well,
41:19
Speaker 6: you know. And so I'm never going to pit one
41:22
Speaker 6: county against the other when it comes to school especially
41:24
Speaker 6: since some maybe doesn't have kids. But I do want
41:28

Speaker 6: and get maybe get you to weigh in on this
41:40
Speaker 6: as well. I want to talk about the words in
41:44
Speaker 6: God we trust. Now, you'll recall that a bill requiring
41:51
Speaker 6: the words in God we Trust be placed in public schools,
41:56
Speaker 6: and it was signed by the governor. Whether it was
41:58
Speaker 6: a ceremony held yesterday at the Capitol, and of course,
42:02
Speaker 6: as I mentioned earlier, the legislature in town for interims
42:05
Speaker 6: and so a lot of them were around anyway, but
42:08
Speaker 6: the governor, Governor Morrissey, held a press event yesterday talking
42:14
Speaker 6: about the whole thing. Now, the bill's sponsor was Republican
42:18
Speaker 6: Mike Aisinger out of Wood County, and he and others
42:23
Speaker 6: were around yesterday when the signs were shown to the
42:28
Speaker 6: public put on display. Now, taxpayers aren't on the hook
42:34
Speaker 6: for the signs. By the way. The groups were called
42:37
Speaker 6: First Liberty Institute and Patriot Mobile, And I don't know
42:41
Speaker 6: anything about those organizations, but they paid for around twenty
42:47
Speaker 6: five hundred signs that are going to be donated to
42:51
Speaker 6: the States with the words in God we trust, accompanied
42:57
Speaker 6: by the US flaglac representation of the flag, and that
43:01
Speaker 6: will be in all schools, elementary, secondary, and higher education institutions. Now,
43:05
Speaker 6: the law also extends to charter schools. Now, I'm going
43:10
Speaker 6: to give you a quote from Governor Morrison. And by
43:13
Speaker 6: the way, Jeff Jenkins has a full story written about
43:15
Speaker 6: this this morning at wv metronews dot com. This is
43:19
Speaker 6: a direct quote from Governor Morrisey about the story from yesterday.
43:23
Speaker 6: A true Actually, no, let me back up. This quote
43:26
Speaker 6: is actually from the bill signing, not yesterday. I'm sorry
43:28
Speaker 6: it was from the bill signing, but in regardless, it's
43:31
Speaker 6: a quote from the governor. A true and accurate retelling
43:35
Speaker 6: of civics and American life and history is going to
43:38
Speaker 6: be set up for our students to become engaged in
43:42
Speaker 6: very knowledgeable members of our society. End quote. Now, again,
43:47
Speaker 6: that's what the governor said when he signed a bill
43:50
Speaker 6: into law in April. Senate President Randy Smith, Republican from
43:56
Speaker 6: Preston County, said quote, schools will be better place when
44:00
Speaker 6: God is included. And you know, he continued on, society
44:09
Speaker 6: started going downhill when we took God out of our schools,
44:13
Speaker 6: and I think we had the statistics to show that
44:17
Speaker 6: end quote. We have not seen that statistic yet, I would.
44:23
Speaker 6: I mean, there's you know, there's been problems in our
44:25
Speaker 6: public schools for a long time. And I don't know
44:27
Speaker 6: whether the two go with each other.
44:29
Speaker 16: I don't know.
44:31
Speaker 6: I don't know that God was ever taken out of schools,
44:33
Speaker 6: to be honest with you. But a former state senator
44:36
Speaker 6: from Arkansas who's all about this stuff, was there as well,
44:40
Speaker 6: and he said lawmakers around the country are doing similar things.
44:43
Speaker 6: Quote from him, and I found this interesting. And again
44:45
Speaker 6: you can read all this as part of Jeff's story
44:48
Speaker 6: wv metronews dot com. This is a quote. We just

Speaker 6: were touched and say, we need to resurrect those founding
45:03

45:10
Speaker 6: Now we can go I do a deeper dive on

Speaker 6: that what our founding fathers really meant. But Okay, when
45:19
Speaker 6: I read that quote, I thought, Okay, the students in
45:23

48:53
Speaker 6: get to the text. Here's where well, no, no, no,
48:56
Speaker 6: I said no, no, back up because I said I
48:58
Speaker 6: was more interested in what you have to say. So
49:00
Speaker 6: I am going to leave it up to you, and
49:02
Speaker 6: if I have time tomorrow or whatever, I'll get into
49:04
Speaker 6: my thoughts. It's all about It's all about you, all right,
49:07
Speaker 6: Tex says in God we trust, perhaps not. There's no
49:11
Speaker 6: one who has more broken promises than God. By the way,
49:14
Speaker 6: if you're listening, I didn't say that, the texture didn't,
49:18
Speaker 6: text says. Patriot and Mobile is a cellular company that
49:22
Speaker 6: markets to conservatives under the premise of not paying for
49:25
Speaker 6: liberal phone service companies, but they use the towers from
49:28
Speaker 6: the liberal companies and Patriot Mobiles surely pays to use
49:31
Speaker 6: the towers, So those dupe conservatives are technically paying for
49:35
Speaker 6: liberal companies, says a Texter. This is the people one
49:38
Speaker 6: of the groups that paid for the signs we're talking about.
49:40
Speaker 6: Text says this round of in God we trust. It's
49:42
Speaker 6: just like the first round of it. It's a reaction
49:44
Speaker 6: of scared conservatives. What are they scared of? The first
49:46
Speaker 6: round of it was communism? This round LGBT, pocs, Muslims,
49:51
Speaker 6: brown skin, immigrants, electric cars, solar panels, vaccines, people smarter
49:54
Speaker 6: than them, education, It's really an undending list of fears.
49:58
Speaker 6: As a texture tex says Dave. Have you seen the
50:01
Speaker 6: chaos that just happened into Paul? Now?
50:03
Speaker 2: I didn't.
50:03
Speaker 6: It wasn't my day to watching Nepaul. Their communist government
50:06
Speaker 6: officials are being hunted down, chased, stripped, and beaten in
50:09
Speaker 6: broad daylight. Anti commy protesters are setting fire to the
50:13
Speaker 6: homes of leaders and even torching the Parliament building. Their
50:16
Speaker 6: gend z citizens were simply arranging peaceful protests against corruption,
50:20
Speaker 6: but then the government banned all social media, basically shutting
50:23
Speaker 6: down the Internet. Nineteen kids were killed the first day
50:25
Speaker 6: of protests. After that, all hill broke loose against government officials.
50:29
Speaker 6: There the people had enough, all right, Texas, Dave, you
50:33
Speaker 6: were talking about the team thugs who killed the store worker.
50:36
Speaker 6: Look at it this way. Thirteen percent of smoke alarms
50:38
Speaker 6: cause eighty percent of the beeps. There's your answer, tex
50:45
Speaker 6: says Dave. Great to see public schools in West Virginian
50:48
Speaker 6: displaying in God, we trust science, finally acknowledging what is
50:52
Speaker 6: important in life common sense. All right, I guess, and look,
50:56
Speaker 6: I am not opposed to the science at all. Here's
50:59
Speaker 6: where I am on this, Okay, And now I've read
51:02
Speaker 6: through all the text, I'll tell you where I am
51:03
Speaker 6: on it. I am not opposed to them at all. However,
51:06
Speaker 6: I don't know what good they actually do because their
51:08
Speaker 6: words on a sign. And as a kid that went
51:10
Speaker 6: to school of the nineteen seventies, and we did the
51:13
Speaker 6: and I'm as patriotic as the next person, don't get
51:15
Speaker 6: me wrong, but we did the Pledge of allegiance. We
51:17
Speaker 6: did the Lord's Prayer every morning, we prayed before lunch.
51:21
Speaker 6: You know, the whole God is great, God's good. And
51:22
Speaker 6: we thinking for a food, buy a sence. We show
51:23
Speaker 6: we've had now to give us lord of data bread
51:25
Speaker 6: a man. That's about how fast we went through it
51:27
Speaker 6: because we were more interested in getting to the blowney
51:28
Speaker 6: sandwich or I didn't eat in the cafeteria, so I
51:31
Speaker 6: don't know what they had there. So I don't know
51:34
Speaker 6: that putting up a sign with words on it is going.
51:37
Speaker 6: I don't know that a school shooter or anybody that's
51:39
Speaker 6: going to do bad is going to walk in and go,
51:41
Speaker 6: oh God, we trust. Yeah, I can't do that here,
51:44
Speaker 6: kind of like gun free zones in cities. Not opposed
51:47
Speaker 6: to it. I just think I just think it's a
51:49
Speaker 6: waste of time. That's detches me. I think your time
51:51
Speaker 6: could be spent in other ways. But hey, private company's
51:54
Speaker 6: paying for it. Legislature passed it. You do you? TJ.

Speaker 6: Meadows coming up with talk where are you on this
52:00
Speaker 6: sign thing? Yeah, I don't have a problem with it.
52:02
Speaker 10: I'm much more concerned about whether or not someone sharing
52:04
Speaker 10: the Gospel with a child, though, than a sign being
52:06
Speaker 10: Then the.
52:07
Speaker 6: Sign does absolutely sign does what's what's what's the book
52:10
Speaker 6: say about words without deeds? It does nothing? Yeah, it doesn't,
52:14
Speaker 6: absolutely nothing but make you feel good about yourself? Are
52:16
