- 0:05Speaker 1: I felt so bad for this mother. The other day,
- 0:07Speaker 1: I was leaving Walmart. I'd went in to grab stuff
- 0:11Speaker 1: to wash the truck at my house instead of always
- 0:13Speaker 1: having to like go through the automated car wash. And
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm checking out and this mom she's there with her
- 0:20Speaker 1: little son. And I didn't I was trying to not
- 0:23Speaker 1: be nosy, but from what I gathered, this mom was buying,
- 0:28Speaker 1: you know, a couple things of clothes for you know
- 0:30Speaker 1: this like four year old kid or three year old
- 0:32Speaker 1: kid or whatever. Yeah, and she didn't want to bring
- 0:35Speaker 1: the hangers home with her. That come on, the you know,
- 0:38Speaker 1: the clothes.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Right, the hangers at home exactly.
- 0:42Speaker 1: And this poor lady just dealt with a full blown
- 0:45Speaker 1: meltdown in the aisle, you know, and everyone feels terrible.
- 0:49Speaker 1: It's not like anyone's like blaming the lady. Everyone feels
- 0:52Speaker 1: just horrible. And I was sitting there going so that's
- 0:55Speaker 1: what it was like when I wanted that vest when
- 0:57Speaker 1: I was four years old, done over a whole vest, Angie,
- 1:02Speaker 1: here's what it was. My parents took me shopping and
- 1:05Speaker 1: I wanted this vest, right. And when I say I
- 1:08Speaker 1: wanted this vest, it wasn't even meant for three or
- 1:11Speaker 1: four year olds. It was like, I wanted this vest
- 1:14Speaker 1: so my dad could wear this vest.
- 1:16Speaker 2: It wasn't even for me. I just like wanted the vest.
- 1:20Speaker 1: At our house and I lost it in this coals
- 1:24Speaker 1: And basically when I got back to the car, I
- 1:26Speaker 1: had the life of life of death scared. I mean
- 1:29Speaker 1: I never threw a tantrum like that again in coals,
- 1:31Speaker 1: but that I was wondering this morning. Man, that's got
- 1:34Speaker 1: to be the most relatable thing. What is the goofiest, silliest,
- 1:37Speaker 1: stupidest thing your kid has ever thrown a tantrum over
- 1:42Speaker 1: thinking about some pork not getting to take the hangar home?
- 1:46Speaker 3: Kids funny kids mount down over anything. And it's always
- 1:51Speaker 3: a surprise because there are things that it's like, why is.
- 1:55Speaker 4: That triggering you?
- 1:56Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:57Speaker 3: So, Aiden, when he was like five, we took him
- 2:00Speaker 3: trigger treating and he was Spider Man for Halloween, just
- 2:04Speaker 3: like a bajillion other kids were Spider Man for Halloween.
- 2:08Speaker 3: And we're walking and we're heading up to this house
- 2:10Speaker 3: and there's a guy who's sitting outside the house with
- 2:12Speaker 3: a bowl of candy and he's dressed in a Spider
- 2:15Speaker 3: Man costume.
- 2:16Speaker 2: And Aiden lost it. He starts screaming and k and
- 2:21Speaker 2: we're like, what is happening?
- 2:23Speaker 5: Why is there another Spider Man?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Ah, there can be one.
- 2:27Speaker 3: No, literally, there's the meme where there's several.
- 2:31Speaker 5: Spider Man pointing at each other.
- 2:33Speaker 2: It was wild to me.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I mean, this kid was having a full and then
- 2:36Speaker 3: we were like, no, look because there's more than it's hellowen.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Then we're trying to explain to.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Him, sir, you pick the most basic costume everybody was
- 2:45Speaker 3: gonna be. I think Spider Man across the Spider Verse
- 2:48Speaker 3: into the Spider Verse had come out so like it
- 2:50Speaker 3: was super on the forefront, right, and he was surprised.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I've that's main character syndrome. If I ever saw obviously
- 2:57Speaker 3: there was gonna be another Spider Man.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Yeah, at that point, go ant Man. They're probably on
- 3:01Speaker 1: a ton of ant Man exactly not.
- 3:03Speaker 3: But he wanted to be Spider Man like everyone else
- 3:05Speaker 3: and then somehow offended and yeah, he had a foot
- 3:08Speaker 3: like we stopped trigger treating. It was that it was over.
- 3:12Speaker 3: There was on Facebook you posed this question.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I asked this question, kids, your kid melting down
- 3:19Speaker 1: and why? And of course the response is they live
- 3:22Speaker 1: up to the hype. These are all wonderful. I believe
- 3:25Speaker 1: this is Naomi.
- 3:26Speaker 2: She said.
- 3:27Speaker 1: He wanted to read the Star Wars intro. He was
- 3:31Speaker 1: three and couldn't read, and also never seen any of
- 3:35Speaker 1: the movies. Of course, yeah, that's of course, that's so good.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Laurie said, because he fed the dog his pretzel and
- 3:42Speaker 3: the dog ate it.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Okay, right, Carrie, she said. She asked if it was morning.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I told her, in fact, it was.
- 3:54Speaker 5: More that would have me melting down too.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I lose it to I feel bad for that kid.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Levinvan. What was the silliest thing your kid melted down over?
- 4:02Speaker 3: Kimberly said she was very sad George Washington.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Was dead on the dollar bill.
- 4:10Speaker 2: How do you explain that one?
- 4:11Speaker 3: Yeah? And Andrea said, my toddler was mad because her
- 4:15Speaker 3: chip broke in her mouth because.
- 4:17Speaker 1: She was eating so yeah, of course, how do you
- 4:21Speaker 1: explain that once you bite the chip? Yeah, it's really
- 4:24Speaker 1: just a bunch of creepies at that point.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know what's a foggy for you? This morning?
- 4:31Speaker 3: It was foggy for me, and there was a smell
- 4:33Speaker 3: that I didn't understand was what was happening?
- 4:36Speaker 2: Well, that's the sweet smell of victory. Angela.
- 4:42Speaker 1: We will talk a little bit about the game later on,
- 4:45Speaker 1: but welcome to Viking Football. That game is everything that
- 4:50Speaker 1: watching the Minnesota Vikings is like. All right, and we'll
- 4:53Speaker 1: talk more on that in a little bit, but obviously
- 4:56Speaker 1: very very excited, very cool for the Vikes. That kind
- 4:59Speaker 1: of a little victory in and of itself. There was
- 5:01Speaker 1: at one point where I'm just thinking, oh man, maybe
- 5:04Speaker 1: i won't be tired at work tomorrow, Like if this
- 5:06Speaker 1: gets out of hand, you know, there's no point in
- 5:08Speaker 1: really staying tired for nothing. Yeah, and then you know
- 5:12Speaker 1: there's one little play here, a little play there. I'm like, well,
- 5:15Speaker 1: I'm back committed. But we like starting to show off
- 5:19Speaker 1: on a positive note every single day, and we're going
- 5:22Speaker 1: to do that with some little victories here, which if
- 5:24Speaker 1: you ever have any, by the way, we'd love to
- 5:25Speaker 1: hear them and or read them. Seven oh one two
- 5:28Speaker 1: eight zero one nine eight seven. Chiming with those out
- 5:32Speaker 1: whenever you want. If it's like two in the afternoon,
- 5:34Speaker 1: you can still text it to us.
- 5:35Speaker 3: We'll see see it, Gabe. My little victory stemmed from
- 5:43Speaker 3: something that happened over the weekend. So on Saturday, I
- 5:46Speaker 3: headed out with Mikey and the kiddos. We went out
- 5:49Speaker 3: to Leonard because they had a little harvest festival, and
- 5:53Speaker 3: I live.
- 5:54Speaker 4: For a fall festival, okay, So.
- 5:57Speaker 3: They were selling baked goods and fresh produce, and so
- 6:01Speaker 3: Mikey is excellent at picking out tomatoes, like, okay, he's
- 6:06Speaker 3: never picked a bad tomato. And so we picked up
- 6:09Speaker 3: a couple of tomatoes, and yesterday we made belts and
- 6:14Speaker 3: I took my first shot at making faux bacon with
- 6:19Speaker 3: tofu and it turned out so great. Yes, the kids
- 6:25Speaker 3: are not vegan for the record, so I'm not like
- 6:29Speaker 3: just bias saying I did.
- 6:30Speaker 2: A great job.
- 6:31Speaker 3: The kids are obviously the ones who would tell me, like,
- 6:34Speaker 3: no bacon. The kids were so impressed, and they were like,
- 6:39Speaker 3: can we have this again tomorrow?
- 6:41Speaker 4: But we ran out of tomatoes, so we.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Gotta go to another fall festival and pick up some tomatoes.
- 6:46Speaker 3: But they were super stoked about this tofu bacon and
- 6:51Speaker 3: the tomatoes topped it all out.
- 6:52Speaker 2: It was great. So we were just happy and full.
- 6:56Speaker 1: That is wonderful. That's a very cool story. I suppose
- 6:59Speaker 1: that's an interest saying what's the word not dilemma? Dynamic
- 7:03Speaker 1: where you are vegan, your kidd's are not vegan, right,
- 7:07Speaker 1: but I'm sure they eat some of the things you
- 7:08Speaker 1: eat from time to time, and so yeah, probably an
- 7:11Speaker 1: interesting road to navigate sometimes.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I always I feel like people ask me like, well,
- 7:16Speaker 3: are you your kids vegan? But like I didn't become
- 7:19Speaker 3: vegan until eight years ago, Like that was my choice,
- 7:22Speaker 3: and so the kids can make that choice or not
- 7:25Speaker 3: whenever they feel like it. But they know that if
- 7:28Speaker 3: I'm cooking dinner, probably it's.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Gonna end up a certain way.
- 7:31Speaker 3: But if Mike's making dinner, there's probably all kind of
- 7:35Speaker 3: meat and cheese.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Let's go, all right.
- 7:38Speaker 1: My little victory is there was a fall decor put
- 7:41Speaker 1: up around the glitten house.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Yes, oh my gosh, And I know it was your
- 7:44Speaker 4: wife that did it.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I know it's not you.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Well that is also very true, but I did help
- 7:49Speaker 1: get the boxes for the fall deckorse.
- 7:51Speaker 2: She was like, can you help with the boxes?
- 7:53Speaker 1: And of course, you know, we got the pumpkins all around,
- 7:56Speaker 1: and of course she's all done, and she got just
- 7:57Speaker 1: a disappointing look on her face. So the little victory
- 7:59Speaker 1: is the fall decors up. She's like, you know, I
- 8:02Speaker 1: just hate this fall decor.
- 8:04Speaker 4: Oh shopping trick.
- 8:07Speaker 1: So sadly it looks like I'm gonna lose some money
- 8:09Speaker 1: on some courageous you know what, it does look very cool.
- 8:14Speaker 5: I want to see and I feel like I've been
- 8:16Speaker 5: here now for what six months?
- 8:19Speaker 4: And how come I've never been to your house?
- 8:22Speaker 2: Well, you know, I like to keep something secret. What Yeah,
- 8:26Speaker 2: you know.
- 8:26Speaker 1: It's it's just an interesting dynamic Angie on you know,
- 8:31Speaker 1: on the way the tea is gone.
- 8:33Speaker 5: You can invite me over to look at the fall decori.
- 8:36Speaker 1: You can come over, but Corey's going to probably need
- 8:38Speaker 1: to do some more shopping for other decor because the
- 8:41Speaker 1: decor we have isn't decoring enough.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Okay, Well, whenever that happens, I want to come over
- 8:47Speaker 3: and see. You know, I live for fall.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you could always come to the backyard
- 8:50Speaker 1: and chill on the patio.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Is there something weird like?
- 8:54Speaker 4: Do not want me in your house?
- 8:56Speaker 2: Oh? You can definitely come over basically whenever.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Okay, the Minnesota Vikings pulled off what was a very
- 9:09Speaker 1: exciting comeback yesterday, and if you are a Vikings fan,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I just I want your take and I want to
- 9:16Speaker 1: know if you agree with me here today that was
- 9:19Speaker 1: the most Minnesota Viking game of all time. Angie, welcome
- 9:25Speaker 1: to watching Viking football. You have you're an Eagles fan,
- 9:30Speaker 1: but you have said, you know, hey, I'm cheering for
- 9:33Speaker 1: the Vikes. I live here now, and you know I
- 9:35Speaker 1: want Gabe to be happy.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yes, exactly, so I'm very supportive.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I just didn't know exactly what kind of fandom this
- 9:46Speaker 3: was or is, because I walked in yesterday to work,
- 9:49Speaker 3: and because I'm an Eagles fan, Like our thing happened.
- 9:53Speaker 2: On Thursday, Oh yeah, long gone.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Yeah, we beat the Cowboys gay and you know, cool,
- 9:57Speaker 3: But yesterday I did feel left out.
- 10:00Speaker 4: I had fomo for sure, because.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Almost everyone in this building was wearing a Vikings something,
- 10:08Speaker 3: a hoodie, a jersey, a shirt, a hat. Everyone was
- 10:12Speaker 3: like decked out in Vikings gear. And like, I saw
- 10:15Speaker 3: a photo on Facebook where everybody got together and they
- 10:19Speaker 3: took a group photo in their Vikings gear and everyone
- 10:22Speaker 3: is like so pumped for the game, Like the atmosphere
- 10:25Speaker 3: in this building was electric in all this anticipation for
- 10:29Speaker 3: the game, and like, y'all are a hopeful bunch.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Y'all are a hopeful.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Bunch of fans where it's like, yeah, we're gonna win.
- 10:37Speaker 3: We're making it to the Super Bowl, like come down,
- 10:39Speaker 3: it's the first game, like. But it was just the
- 10:42Speaker 3: vibe was so like and to the point where by
- 10:46Speaker 3: the time I was leaving this building, I was like,
- 10:48Speaker 3: if these bikes don't win.
- 10:51Speaker 5: What is it going to be like in the building today?
- 10:54Speaker 3: And by the time I went to bed, you know,
- 10:56Speaker 3: my old self was not gonna stay up all night,
- 10:59Speaker 3: which is what that feels like, stand up all night
- 11:01Speaker 3: pass like eight o'clock is like bro. But by the
- 11:04Speaker 3: time I was finally like putting my head to the pillow,
- 11:07Speaker 3: I had checked the score and the Bears were up,
- 11:09Speaker 3: and I was like, oh no, oh.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Man, hoos day at work is gonna stink.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yes.
- 11:14Speaker 5: I was so worried.
- 11:16Speaker 3: And so when I woke up this morning, I checked
- 11:18Speaker 3: the score immediately and it's like, dang, girl, that's not
- 11:20Speaker 3: even your team, like, but you're invested now. Yeah, And
- 11:23Speaker 3: so I saw they went and that it was close,
- 11:24Speaker 3: and I was like, well, at the very least I
- 11:26Speaker 3: know that I'm going to walk into a very happy building.
- 11:29Speaker 2: That's right.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Yeah, And as you just are kind of forced to
- 11:34Speaker 1: see more Vikings news and hear it, you know, living here,
- 11:38Speaker 1: I want to let you know that the game yesterday
- 11:41Speaker 1: is exactly I mean exactly what being a Viking fan
- 11:46Speaker 1: for thirty four years from or thirty four and a
- 11:47Speaker 1: half years for myself looks like. Okay, the Minnesota Vikings
- 11:51Speaker 1: on National TV on Monday Night football, they stink. They
- 11:56Speaker 1: are notoriously garbage and getting blown out by thirty on
- 12:01Speaker 1: Monday Night football.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Oh, how fussy.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I didn't know.
- 12:04Speaker 1: They are just historically stink. When the nation is watching
- 12:09Speaker 1: the game, it just is what it is.
- 12:11Speaker 3: So if it's a game that's in the middle of
- 12:13Speaker 3: the day, like in the Hullabaloo of Sunday on a Sunday,
- 12:16Speaker 3: we'd win the Super Bowl.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Oh, there was a game on National TV against the Cowboys.
- 12:22Speaker 1: It was like two years ago or something. This team
- 12:24Speaker 1: went out and lost thirty three to three.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Oh oh it was wow.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And then so no, only that, you know, the first
- 12:33Speaker 1: half looks atrocious and you're sitting here going, well, the
- 12:36Speaker 1: Vike's gonna vike right. Yeah, not only that, we have
- 12:39Speaker 1: been waiting for this. The youngest quarterback in the league
- 12:43Speaker 1: is oh the youngest, the onliest quarterback in the league.
- 12:46Speaker 1: We have been waiting for eighteen months to see this
- 12:49Speaker 1: dude play football. He is the first quarterback that the
- 12:53Speaker 1: Minnesota Vikings have ever drafted in the top ten.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Oh wow, I have never taken a order back that
- 13:00Speaker 2: high in the draft.
- 13:02Speaker 1: We have been waiting for a year and eight months
- 13:04Speaker 1: or whatever it is to watch this dude go out
- 13:06Speaker 1: and play football. And you know, everyone's so excited. Anytime
- 13:09Speaker 1: you have a new QB. It's exciting, yeah, because.
- 13:12Speaker 2: You're hoping like they turn things around for the team.
- 13:15Speaker 1: He goes out in the first half, which no help
- 13:17Speaker 1: from his coaches, by the way, But that's I digress.
- 13:20Speaker 1: He goes out in the first half, and I swear
- 13:22Speaker 1: to goodness, looks like he had never played football before.
- 13:25Speaker 1: It was horrible. Now he's pretty rusty. And then all
- 13:30Speaker 1: of a sudden, he's on his way to the Hall
- 13:33Speaker 1: of Fame. Get him the gold jacket. He is going
- 13:36Speaker 1: to the Hall of Fame. The Vikes are winning the
- 13:37Speaker 1: Super Bowl. I never doubted him for a second.
- 13:41Speaker 5: Way you're telling me this is what I can.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Expect every single week.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Okay, every single week except when they play at noon,
- 13:48Speaker 1: then they usually play a little bit better.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Well, I'm here to support it unless they play the Eagles.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I'm sorry, not fine.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I will always be rooting for the Vikes. And then
- 13:58Speaker 3: what's the oh you guys won.
- 13:59Speaker 2: So skull skull? That is right, school.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Let me know your thoughts on the game seven oh
- 14:03Speaker 1: one two eight zero one nine eight seven. As an
- 14:06Speaker 1: advice fan, I feel like I could dive into this
- 14:08Speaker 1: game in the minuw shove it, but we're not gonna
- 14:09Speaker 1: do that this morning. I really just wanted to prepare
- 14:13Speaker 1: ANGI for the next sixteen weeks.
- 14:16Speaker 4: I feel like I should give myself a jersey.
- 14:18Speaker 1: So let us know here at seven oh one two
- 14:20Speaker 1: eight zero one nine eight seven, And be honest, did
- 14:23Speaker 1: you go to bed early or did you stay up
- 14:25Speaker 1: and watch the whole thing? I did stay up and
- 14:27Speaker 1: watch the whole thing yesterday.
- 14:34Speaker 3: On the problem, it is time for am I the
- 14:36Speaker 3: problem where you send us your side of the story
- 14:39Speaker 3: and we help you figure out if you're in the
- 14:42Speaker 3: right or maybe, just maybe you.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Are the problem.
- 14:46Speaker 3: If you ever want to send us your side of
- 14:47Speaker 3: a story, you can head to Big nine eight seven
- 14:49Speaker 3: dot com, click the on air tab and make your
- 14:52Speaker 3: submission right there.
- 14:53Speaker 1: And the best part about this is your side of
- 14:55Speaker 1: the story. I mean, we're only going to hear your half.
- 14:57Speaker 2: That's right.
- 14:57Speaker 1: You might be totally wrong, but whatever can you send
- 15:00Speaker 1: us might be totally right.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 15:02Speaker 3: While Garrett reached out to us and he said, hey,
- 15:04Speaker 3: Gabe and Angie, I need advice on a situation with
- 15:08Speaker 3: a friend I met online. We click really well, and
- 15:11Speaker 3: while I don't have feelings for her yet, I do
- 15:14Speaker 3: find her attractive and could see something working down the road.
- 15:18Speaker 3: We've talked about meeting in real life, and one day,
- 15:21Speaker 3: while chatting about relationships, I casually said I could imagine
- 15:26Speaker 3: us together someday if we got to know each other more.
- 15:30Speaker 3: She immediately got defensive, distant, and almost passive aggressive, like
- 15:34Speaker 3: I had done something awful. Eventually, she told me it
- 15:37Speaker 3: would never happen, and even said if I brought it
- 15:40Speaker 3: up again, she might end the relationship. When I asked why,
- 15:44Speaker 3: she admitted she just doesn't feel any physical attraction toward me.
- 15:47Speaker 3: We've since smoothed things over, but I'm still hurt by
- 15:50Speaker 3: how she reacted. Why wouldn't she just up be upfront
- 15:55Speaker 3: from the start instead of shutting me down so harshly.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Did I handle this wrong or was she just caught
- 16:01Speaker 3: off guard. Thanks for your advice, Garrett. All right, Garrett,
- 16:06Speaker 3: I can appreciate that the friend that you're talking to
- 16:10Speaker 3: is hot and you think, well, maybe maybe we could
- 16:14Speaker 3: something down the line. I get that, But you know,
- 16:18Speaker 3: she wasn't a problem. She's not the problem in being
- 16:21Speaker 3: harsh and whatever, because as a lady, like, sorry, it's
- 16:25Speaker 3: not personal against you, it's just most of our experiences
- 16:29Speaker 3: tend to be we have to be harsh and really
- 16:32Speaker 3: draw a line or the guy doesn't get the hint.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think silver lining hook. Yeah, yes, I.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Feel like and I think every lady can agree with
- 16:42Speaker 3: me that unless your own like borderline mean d yeah,
- 16:47Speaker 3: guys will think like, so you're saying there's a chance,
- 16:51Speaker 3: And I'm sorry, my guy, and so you know, maybe
- 16:55Speaker 3: it did sound harsh, and I'm sorry that your feelings
- 16:58Speaker 3: were hurt. But I'm team whoever this lady is, because
- 17:02Speaker 3: she did what she had to do. You know that
- 17:04Speaker 3: she's not interested now, right, Like the line is drawn
- 17:08Speaker 3: in the.
- 17:08Speaker 5: Sand, you know, and you have chosen to still.
- 17:11Speaker 3: You said you smoothed things over, and you're still hurt
- 17:15Speaker 3: by how she reacted, but you smooth things over and
- 17:16Speaker 3: you're still talking so clearly, like you know what's what,
- 17:19Speaker 3: and you're choosing to still talk to her.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Now.
- 17:22Speaker 3: I will say this, Garrett, if you try to circle
- 17:25Speaker 3: back and be like, well, maybe now because we got
- 17:29Speaker 3: to know each other, No, she already told you now. Yeah,
- 17:33Speaker 3: so sorry, Garrett, You're a little bit the problem here.
- 17:36Speaker 1: See this, It is true, Garrett. All is fair and
- 17:40Speaker 1: in love and tender. All right, puffing up, puffing up,
- 17:44Speaker 1: get a helmet. Now, here's what I will say, Garrett.
- 17:46Speaker 1: This is why you keep the options open, okay. This
- 17:50Speaker 1: is why you're DM in three, four, five girls at
- 17:52Speaker 1: a time.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Garrett. You gotta spread, oh my god.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Gotta cast your net wide, okay, and then maybe one
- 18:01Speaker 1: of these girls would be interested in you.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:05Speaker 1: This is why you gotta get on Tinder and swipe
- 18:08Speaker 1: right on everybody.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 18:10Speaker 3: I feel like this is very personal advice from Gabe Blannon,
- 18:14Speaker 3: who absolutely did this, but he ended up married, so
- 18:19Speaker 3: I guess it were I think.
- 18:20Speaker 2: The advice is that bad.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Well, in all seriousness, garrettson, you're not the problem for
- 18:25Speaker 1: being like, oh hey, like maybe we could work out,
- 18:27Speaker 1: but you are the problem for being kind of a
- 18:30Speaker 1: wiss about it?
- 18:31Speaker 2: Does that make sense?
- 18:32Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:32Speaker 2: Tough enough. You know she doesn't like you like that.
- 18:35Speaker 1: It's cool, But this is all confusing to me because
- 18:37Speaker 1: she says she's not physically attracted to you, but you've
- 18:40Speaker 1: never met in person.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Like, are your pictures that bad? That's when you're supposed
- 18:44Speaker 2: to look good.
- 18:45Speaker 1: It's in real life when you look ugly online you
- 18:49Speaker 1: look hot?
- 18:52Speaker 5: What do you think?
- 18:52Speaker 3: Seven on one chwolin on when I made seven Garrett
- 19:02Speaker 3: reached out to us with his am I the problem,
- 19:06Speaker 3: wondering if he was the problem for letting a friend
- 19:10Speaker 3: a lady friend online know that he is potentially interested
- 19:15Speaker 3: and he thinks that they could be together in the future.
- 19:18Speaker 3: She responded with what he thought was very harsh words
- 19:23Speaker 3: and said she said, no, I'm not physically attracted to you,
- 19:26Speaker 3: and if you bring this.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Up again, we're not going to talk anymore.
- 19:29Speaker 3: So he wants to know if he was the problem
- 19:31Speaker 3: or if she was actually being too harsh. My guy, Garrett,
- 19:35Speaker 3: I think that, uh, you need to toughen up a
- 19:39Speaker 3: little bit. She had to draw the line in the sand,
- 19:42Speaker 3: because guys just don't take no for an answer the
- 19:46Speaker 3: way they should. Like, I feel like there's if it
- 19:49Speaker 3: seems like there's an open door even a little bit
- 19:52Speaker 3: for flirtation, then the guys like she wants to.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Be with me.
- 19:56Speaker 1: We cling to that for dear life, like it is
- 20:00Speaker 1: oxygen to breathe.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 20:02Speaker 3: We posted this on the Big ninety eight point seven
- 20:04Speaker 3: Facebook page and Kim responded saying, I feel I feel
- 20:08Speaker 3: like there's a second side to this story. Really hard
- 20:11Speaker 3: to say. Yeah, and you know what that is true?
- 20:14Speaker 3: With am I the Problem? You send us your side
- 20:16Speaker 3: of the story, and that's what we decide on. If
- 20:18Speaker 3: mystery lady who was talking to Garrett, if you want
- 20:23Speaker 3: to reach out and give your side of the story,
- 20:26Speaker 3: we're very open to that.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Reach out to.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Us Big nine eight seven dot com submit your am
- 20:31Speaker 3: I the Problem. It's right there on the on air tab.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Because yeah, I don't think we've ever had someone respond.
- 20:37Speaker 5: This would be a good one.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it'd be great to hear, mystery lady. We're waiting
- 20:42Speaker 2: for you.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Garrett, as a fellow dude who has been shot down
- 20:46Speaker 1: millions of time by ladies, I'll let you know, No,
- 20:48Speaker 1: you were not the problem for you know, kind of
- 20:51Speaker 1: shooting your shot or going down that Avenue. There's nothing
- 20:55Speaker 1: wrong with that. You are the problem though, for even
- 21:00Speaker 1: thinking that this is a little bit harsh. All right
- 21:03Speaker 1: after she says that, you say, hey, that's cool. I
- 21:06Speaker 1: was just checking the vibe. I was seeing the temperature
- 21:09Speaker 1: of the water, and when you found out it was
- 21:11Speaker 1: ice cold, that's when you put on your scuba gear
- 21:15Speaker 1: and get into a different pond.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Ashley just messaged us.
- 21:18Speaker 3: She said, sounds like he has said something like this before,
- 21:22Speaker 3: and she finally had to be this way.
- 21:24Speaker 2: He's the problem. Yeah. See, I don't hate that.
- 21:28Speaker 1: We're tough enough and we just keep swimming and it's
- 21:34Speaker 1: hard not to be romantic about football. There is a
- 21:38Speaker 1: couple that met at a Cleveland Brown tailgate before the game. Okay, well,
- 21:46Speaker 1: all these years later, Desiree Wheeler and Charles Bevill Junior,
- 21:51Speaker 1: they went ahead and got married this past weekend outside
- 21:54Speaker 1: of the Cleveland Brown football stadium, making it kind of
- 21:57Speaker 1: a full circle moment to And that got me kind
- 22:01Speaker 1: of thinking, hey, did you ever get married in just
- 22:03Speaker 1: a unique or interesting place? Because I don't think I
- 22:06Speaker 1: really did. Seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 22:09Speaker 1: eight seven. I got married at a beautiful park, but
- 22:11Speaker 1: I'm sure that. You know, I don't think that's all
- 22:13Speaker 1: that interesting.
- 22:14Speaker 3: I got married at a little chapel in Vegas.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I get there is a reason I brought this up
- 22:22Speaker 1: my whole life growing up in Minnesota. I was always like,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I'd really like to meet one person who actually did
- 22:28Speaker 1: one of these like Vegas weddings that you see in
- 22:30Speaker 1: the movies all the time. Yeah, and you come along
- 22:34Speaker 1: and I have found my Vegas unicorn.
- 22:36Speaker 5: Yes it was me. I did it. It was a
- 22:39Speaker 5: little Vegas chapel.
- 22:40Speaker 3: There was an Elvis statue, but the Elvis himself did
- 22:44Speaker 3: not the impersonator did not marry us. Yeah, there just
- 22:49Speaker 3: was his statue there. But my wedding was sixty dollars.
- 22:53Speaker 3: That's how much it was. I wore a black dress
- 22:55Speaker 3: and leopard print heels. Now did the marriage last No,
- 22:58Speaker 3: But I got two great kids out of it. And
- 23:01Speaker 3: maybe if I would have gotten married at a better venue.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Well if you, let's say, you could do it over again,
- 23:08Speaker 1: and you know, you didn't do it at you know,
- 23:10Speaker 1: a park or a church or whatever, and you could
- 23:12Speaker 1: do it at maybe someplace that's kind of different or
- 23:15Speaker 1: unique or you know where interesting.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I want to get married in a library, in a
- 23:19Speaker 3: really pretty library.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I love reading, even though now.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Because the kids are always so loud, I just zone
- 23:26Speaker 3: out and listen on Audible.
- 23:27Speaker 5: But I love I love a library.
- 23:30Speaker 2: And Mikey he's an avid reader.
- 23:33Speaker 3: And one of our big things is that we want
- 23:36Speaker 3: to just visit as many libraries as possible across the country.
- 23:40Speaker 3: He took me to the Yale Library. Oh cool in November,
- 23:43Speaker 3: and like magical. And so if we were to get married,
- 23:46Speaker 3: he better proposed if we were to get.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Married, I want to get married in a library.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I love that, Kyle.
- 23:52Speaker 1: If you could get married someplace that's just maybe a
- 23:54Speaker 1: little bit different, where would you get married? Man?
- 23:57Speaker 6: I would love to get married in a cool movie location.
- 24:00Speaker 6: And like, you know where Luke Skywalker grew up. I
- 24:02Speaker 6: know they filmed it in Indonesia. I wonder if there.
- 24:06Speaker 6: I might have to look into that more.
- 24:08Speaker 2: I kind of like that.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Or you know, if you could get married in winter
- 24:11Speaker 1: Fell for Game of Thrones.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Oh my god, you can't intertwine weddings and Game of Thrones.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Those never end well, you know, I suppose you got
- 24:22Speaker 2: a point.
- 24:23Speaker 1: If you don't want it to go well, maybe go
- 24:25Speaker 1: over to you know, Iceland where they did the rings.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Okay, how about that one? Yeah that's good Abby. What
- 24:31Speaker 2: about you a haunted house picture exchanging valves while someone
- 24:35Speaker 2: with a chainsaws chasing your Bible party?
- 24:38Speaker 5: Oh that's pretty Oh my gosh.
- 24:40Speaker 3: You know what if someone wanted to get married at
- 24:43Speaker 3: the crypt at Jacob's Manor in Leonard, I bet you
- 24:46Speaker 3: Dave Jacobs would let them do.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Yeah we know a guy.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Yeah, have some very interesting news for you if you
- 24:59Speaker 1: were member this iconic TV commercial. Do you remember hearing
- 25:08Speaker 1: this on your TVs? If you were alive in the eighties, nineties,
- 25:11Speaker 1: maybe even seventies.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Take a listen, mister.
- 25:13Speaker 6: Row, how many lips does it take get to the
- 25:16Speaker 6: tutsil center of a Tutsi pop?
- 25:18Speaker 4: A good Christian flitch? I note one two?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Agreeree Angie, and I quote that in the hall on
- 25:29Speaker 1: a daytime.
- 25:30Speaker 3: I don't know what is our mutual obsession with, but
- 25:35Speaker 3: it's just misterrollll.
- 25:38Speaker 1: You know, yeah, you're headed to you know, Carol Whitman's
- 25:41Speaker 1: candy co or something you want to get yourself a
- 25:43Speaker 1: Tutsi pop?
- 25:43Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, you think in your head?
- 25:47Speaker 2: How many weeks does it take get to the center?
- 25:50Speaker 1: Well, they have updated that commercial. There is a new
- 25:54Speaker 1: version coming out in twenty twenty five. I want to
- 25:57Speaker 1: know if you can hear the differences, because there are some.
- 26:01Speaker 1: They are very slight. Okay, but take a listen to
- 26:04Speaker 1: the new one. Let me know which one you like better.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Mister Owl, how many licks does it take to get
- 26:09Speaker 3: to the Tuttiro Center?
- 26:10Speaker 5: What Tutsi pa?
- 26:11Speaker 3: Let's find out one, two, three, three?
- 26:18Speaker 1: It has the same essence, but it's not quite the same.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Yeah, crudeness, adorableness, very good, but not the same.
- 26:26Speaker 3: So clearly, obviously the audio is cleaned up now because
- 26:29Speaker 3: it's twenty twenty five.
- 26:31Speaker 5: However, I think the Owl doesn't.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I don't like the way he says it. It's not
- 26:37Speaker 2: the same, and I.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Can imagine why.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Maybe it would be hard to get the same voice
- 26:41Speaker 3: actor because what year did that come out?
- 26:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so the old original Toutsi Pop commercial came out
- 26:46Speaker 1: in nineteen sixty nine, so quite a time ago.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Okay, Well, listen, I respect it.
- 26:53Speaker 3: I'm glad that it's coming back in twenty twenty five,
- 26:56Speaker 3: so I'm not gonna be a hater. I will say, though,
- 26:58Speaker 3: the original Tutsi Paw commercial came out in nineteen sixty nine,
- 27:02Speaker 3: which means my boyfriend was four years old.
- 27:13Speaker 1: After reading the dog Man novel, a nine year old
- 27:18Speaker 1: named Ethan came up with this really fun summer project.
- 27:22Speaker 1: It was inspired by the character who set up an
- 27:25Speaker 1: insult stand, only Ethan decided to do the exact opposite,
- 27:30Speaker 1: and he opened up a free compliment stand that he
- 27:33Speaker 1: set up at the end of his driveway. At first,
- 27:36Speaker 1: business was a little bit slow, but after his father, Brandon,
- 27:39Speaker 1: posted about it on social media, more people started stopping
- 27:42Speaker 1: by for a compliment. The stand doesn't sell lemonade or cookies,
- 27:48Speaker 1: and it only offers positive words, but business has been
- 27:52Speaker 1: good and it's become a popular spot in the community.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Ethan's mom, Jessica, says she was surprised by how strong
- 27:58Speaker 1: the reaction was from neighbors and vis visitors.
- 28:00Speaker 2: People describe it as heartwarming, and even though.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Ethan admits he sometimes struggles to think of compliments, we
- 28:08Speaker 1: will persevere. Now the stand has become a local hit.
- 28:11Speaker 1: It's spreading joy to passerbys during the summer days. Ethan
- 28:14Speaker 1: continues to encourage others with his kind words, saying, if
- 28:18Speaker 1: you had that idea, I definitely would compliment you on
- 28:21Speaker 1: that his thoughtful project is captured the attention and appreciation.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Of many in his community. Way to go Ethan, You know,
- 28:29Speaker 2: you never know.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Sometimes one person just needs a nice thing said to
- 28:33Speaker 1: him that day, and it might mean it might be
- 28:36Speaker 1: this nine year old.
- 28:37Speaker 3: That I mean, it's the sweetest thing on the planet,
- 28:40Speaker 3: because you never know.
- 28:41Speaker 4: How a compliment can you say somebody's.
- 28:44Speaker 2: You never know.
- 28:45Speaker 1: It's incredible, And a nine year old doing this throughout
- 28:48Speaker 1: the summer, it's just such a wonderful thing to hear about.
- 28:51Speaker 1: And the world's full of nice people. If you can't
- 28:53Speaker 1: find one, you gotta be one. And I knew i'd
- 28:55Speaker 1: get you to day, Angie.
- 28:56Speaker 2: I knew it
