- 0:03The outlook for silver has never been better.
- 0:07Today we're fortunate to have two experts in the field, Gary
- 0:11Thompson, CEO of Silver 47 and Galen McNamara, CEO of Suma
- 0:17Silver. Independently.
- 0:19These two companies have major, massive silver resources in the
- 0:24ground in the United States. But earlier this week, we got
- 0:28news that they're merging the companies to create a real
- 0:32silver Titan. Gary and Galen, welcome to Ron's
- 0:35basement. Hello, thank you for having us
- 0:38again. Yeah, so.
- 0:40So big news, Ron. Yeah, good.
- 0:41Good to see you, Galen. I followed both of your
- 0:44companies very closely over the last several years.
- 0:48I'm super excited about this because when I look at this deal
- 0:52in the combined resources, other synergies that you'll be
- 0:56bringing to the to the table, it, it, it looks like this, this
- 1:01could create like a real silver Titan.
- 1:03So, and, and before we dig into that, maybe we can spend just a
- 1:07few minutes with each of you giving us your, you know, one
- 1:10minute insights into what you see going on in the macro silver
- 1:14market because I think that'll impact things as we move
- 1:17forward. Sure.
- 1:21Well, a couple of things that me and Michael will just kick it
- 1:23off that we're excited about on the macro side, you know, we're
- 1:27we're seeing silver now going into year five of a deficit that
- 1:31just simply can't, can't be sustained.
- 1:34And I think I think a lot of the people in the space are all
- 1:38excited about silver taking a taking a big jump higher.
- 1:43Well, when that is, we don't know, but I think it's
- 1:46inevitable that's that's going to happen.
- 1:48You've seen what happened with gold.
- 1:50Silver hasn't quite made that move yet, but I think when it
- 1:54does, it's going to be much higher and much more volatile.
- 1:58So we're we're all excited and and keenly watching for that to
- 2:02unfold at some point. And what we're seeing is a lot,
- 2:05a lot more uses for for silver and on the industrial side.
- 2:09And I think that's going to continue to grow and and many
- 2:13people may not be aware that there's actually a lot of silver
- 2:17goes into the military complex and that silver is consumed and
- 2:21gone. You can't really recycle that.
- 2:25And we're obviously seeing now new battery technology with the
- 2:28silver carbon batteries that hasn't even that hasn't even
- 2:32come into the demand side yet. But when it does, that's going
- 2:37to potentially suck a lot of silver out of the out of the
- 2:43market as well. So we see that industrial part
- 2:46of the equation here going to continue to grow.
- 2:48And yeah, we're, we're pretty excited to be advancing a
- 2:52exciting silver, high grade silver story in the US.
- 2:56Yeah, in the US, Galen, I want you to, I want to hear from you
- 2:59next. But I can't help but throw in
- 3:02that feels like to me that the silver market in its current
- 3:06state, right, with 100 to 1 gold to silver ratio with all these
- 3:10demand profiles that we're talking about China, India,
- 3:14electronic solar, you know, new solid-state batteries in the, in
- 3:18the, in the silver market feels very delicate to me at this
- 3:22point as well. And so I hear, you know, top
- 3:25analysts talk about the potential for a slingshot move
- 3:28when, you know, at times the silver or the gold to silver
- 3:31ratio has gotten down to 15 to 1.
- 3:34So when we talk about 50-60, even $100 silver, you know,
- 3:39people may scoff at me and that's OK, I, I can take it.
- 3:42But to me it feels like that's a, a real reality.
- 3:45Galen, do you have any any any insights into silver?
- 3:49Yeah, I think talking about the ratio is a great way to for me
- 3:53in my mind to keep it simple. And I look at what the silver to
- 3:57gold ratio is mined and then in the earth and it's 7:00 to 1:00
- 4:01and 8:00 to 1:00 then we and then, so that's a huge
- 4:03disconnect between 100 to 1 today.
- 4:06So we have kind of reality of what it's mined at, at it when
- 4:09it's in, what it's in the, in the, in the ground at, you know,
- 4:12versus, you know, what it trades at, which is kind of very, very
- 4:15strange. You know #1 And then I look at
- 4:18the last time that silver to gold, the, the, the, the ratio
- 4:21was 100 to 1. And that was in, I want to say
- 4:242020, early 2020. And after that, after getting
- 4:27even a little more out of whack and silver did really well, you
- 4:31know, really, really well, you know, and that was just, I think
- 4:34just a hint of what could be to come, you know, in, in a real
- 4:37market where both gold and silver take off, where we know
- 4:41that gold in these markets, gold starts, you know, and silver
- 4:45follows. And I remember it was only, I
- 4:47want to say a year and a half ago where I, I was watching the
- 4:49gold price on a Sunday night and it went to and it must have went
- 4:53from $2000 to 2150. And I thought at that time that
- 4:57like, wow, what a what a move 2150 and then here we are in
- 5:012025 and, you know, just the other week gold was, was rush
- 5:06rushing upwards and touching 3500 on all of this buying from,
- 5:10you know, we think central banks OR, or it doesn't really matter.
- 5:13A buyer's right, a buyer's a buyer.
- 5:15And I'm just thinking, OK, well, silver's, you know, hung in here
- 5:18around $30, you know, but in the last year traded say between 28
- 5:22and 32, touching 33, maybe 34 for a little bit.
- 5:25You know, it's just got a lot of catching up to do and when it
- 5:28happens, you know, often times it happens quickly and you know,
- 5:31we just want to position our companies to be a go to name in
- 5:35the silver space when people really want to want to own
- 5:38silver. Yeah.
- 5:40So, so you, you guys are combining as I said earlier,
- 5:44you're combining your companies, both of which independently have
- 5:48very attractive silver resources in the ground in the United
- 5:53States. It why don't, why don't you kind
- 5:56of give me a, a rundown as to the rationale behind this?
- 6:01Obviously, we're looking at, I believe it's what a resource of
- 6:05246,000,000 oz when you combine the companies and, and great
- 6:10exploration opportunities. So Gary or or Galen, whoever
- 6:16wants to start, you know, give me, give me the story and, and,
- 6:20and, and why I'm so excited about this.
- 6:23Yeah. I mean, we'll just kick it off.
- 6:25I mean, for us it was about, and we've been, you know, trying to
- 6:29get to scale in this business. It's, you know, a larger
- 6:34companies just attract more capital and and we found that,
- 6:37as you probably know, the junior companies have been underfunded,
- 6:40chronically underfunded for for way too long.
- 6:44And so I think part of the attraction of, of getting bigger
- 6:48is just, you know, getting that scale to, to attract more, more
- 6:52capital and to, and to jump ahead of, you know, some of the
- 6:55smaller companies. And, and the other one is
- 6:58creating a primary silver opportunity in the US.
- 7:04And there just aren't many, if you look at the high grade
- 7:07silver opportunities in, in the United States, there's very
- 7:10limited opportunities. And when Galen and I came
- 7:15together and started talking about this combination, it just
- 7:17made a lot of sense. We, you know, we both have
- 7:20independently strong resource base.
- 7:22And you know, for silver 47, we started at about 168,000,000
- 7:28silver equivalent in Alaska. And like you said, now we're
- 7:31like 200 and 4200 and 46250 ish silver equivalent.
- 7:36And for silver 47, we had about a 33% precious to base metals
- 7:41because they do have a lot of zinc and a lot of a lot of base
- 7:44metals in the Red Mountain project.
- 7:47But we went from 33% now to well basically doubled around 60%
- 7:52precious to base metals. So I think that's, you know,
- 7:55those are just a couple of reasons you know why why we're
- 7:58excited to, you know to build this venture.
- 8:01But go ahead to Galen. Yeah, I completely agree for
- 8:05sure. And then I think, you know, as
- 8:07as far as companies go, we have two ways to grow and that's
- 8:10through the drill bit, which I think we would both
- 8:12independently have been successful on, but that takes
- 8:15time, right? And then the other way is
- 8:18through, you know, merging M&A with like minded companies who
- 8:22want to grow something bigger where we hope that 1 + 1 is more
- 8:26than two, you know, and that's certainly something that we're
- 8:28going to, we're going to Gary and I are going to work on very
- 8:30hard through marketing, you know, and, and telling and
- 8:34telling people, you know, why it's important to invest in
- 8:37silver and but also why it's important to invest like in
- 8:40companies like as far as if you're into this sort of thing,
- 8:43which we of course are very much.
- 8:46So that's really it. Yeah, Yeah.
- 8:50Anyway, in, in, in my other thought as well is that as we
- 8:53talked about the macro silver market at the onset of this
- 8:56video, there aren't a lot of companies out there that are
- 9:00exploring and developing silver. So when the silver market does
- 9:04turn, I would think that the combined and the combined
- 9:08company will be called Silver 47.
- 9:10Is that correct? Yeah, that that you guys will be
- 9:14a step or two or three or four ahead of the competition, right.
- 9:18I mean, it takes years and years and a lot of money to establish
- 9:23the resource that that you'll already have had.
- 9:25And in that, that resource could become very attractive to, you
- 9:30know, even larger companies that might want to step in.
- 9:33I'd like to thank the sponsor of this video, First Mint.
- 9:37There a silver mint located in Las Vegas, NV, creating world
- 9:41class silver bullion products. As a matter of fact, here's a 5
- 9:46oz silver bar. You can check this out for
- 9:49yourself on their website, firstmint.com.
- 9:53Couple things unique about First Mint.
- 9:55They're owned by First Majestic Silver headed up by Keith
- 9:59Neumeyer. So they're getting the silver
- 10:02out of the ground to the Mint to you from the mine to the met.
- 10:07Again, you can check them out at first mint.com.
- 10:10Thank you to 1st Mint for sponsoring Ron's basement and
- 10:13sponsoring this video. Yeah, we, we think so there's,
- 10:18you know, as you pointed out, not a lot of names and I think
- 10:21we're going to see more M&A in, in the space.
- 10:24I think, you know, investors want to see companies with, with
- 10:29greater opportunities and, and greater scale.
- 10:32And, you know, we also have a number of critical minerals in
- 10:35our, we know in our, our zones, although they haven't been
- 10:39counted in the resource because, you know, look, 10 years ago,
- 10:43you know, people weren't really chasing antimony and gallium
- 10:46and, and some of these critical minerals.
- 10:48Well, now they're now they're strategic to, to the US and to
- 10:51the West. And so we're going to look to
- 10:53unlock some of that value. And that's just a bonus on top
- 10:56of the on the high grade silver that you know that we have
- 10:59collectible. Yeah.
- 11:01Yeah. Gary, why don't I pull up this,
- 11:04I'm going to pull up one of the slides from the from the deck
- 11:08and I want to get your and Galen's commentary on this
- 11:11because I think it's slide #7 there it is right there,
- 11:15relative value and pro forma analysis.
- 11:18What does what does this slide show us as we look at the
- 11:21combined company which is here in the middle of the screen, the
- 11:24white box? Yeah.
- 11:27I mean it's, it's just showing the, I guess the quality of of
- 11:32the company combined on a pro forma basis where we sit
- 11:35relative to our peers. And you can see that we're
- 11:37actually quite, you know, fairly.
- 11:40I wouldn't say we're on, you know, the front of the pack or
- 11:43the top of the pack, if you will, because we're still, you
- 11:47know, we're still exploration. We've got some work to do to
- 11:49get, you know, to get to where, you know, Visly is and, and some
- 11:52of these others are a little more advanced, but you know,
- 11:54this combination actually moved us up to middle to, if not, you
- 11:59know, in, in, in the front of the pack, if you will.
- 12:02And, and the US, it's really important.
- 12:05If you look at these silver names, again, there's not a lot
- 12:08of silver opportunities in the US and we think this is going to
- 12:12going to be an attractive investment opportunity for
- 12:15people to looking to deploy capital in a safe jurisdiction,
- 12:19you know, like the US. Yep, Yep.
- 12:22And when and when I look at this, you know, obvious on the
- 12:24horizontal axis, I see the total resource and like your first
- 12:30check mark there says you're the largest Tier 1 jurisdiction
- 12:33silver resource. And then when you look at the
- 12:37grade, you're not at the top of the grade, but you are above
- 12:41most of the other exploration and I guess development stage
- 12:45companies as well. Am I?
- 12:46Am I reading that correctly? Yeah, I, I think you are.
- 12:50I think you start to get over 300 grams per ton on the, the
- 12:54vertical axis there. And all of a sudden you start to
- 12:56separate from the pack pretty quickly.
- 12:58And then, you know, on the, on the horizontal axis, the
- 13:00resource size, you know, we're certainly furthest to the right,
- 13:04you know, on any, on any combined entity with an American
- 13:08flag beside it. And you know, these days the,
- 13:12the whole made in America idea, I think is just returning and,
- 13:15and not just from a making things that we use, but from a
- 13:19getting the resources that we need to make the things we use.
- 13:22You know, we, I think we really want to be producing our metals
- 13:25and our materials from places like the United States because,
- 13:28you know, great environmental standards, great Labor
- 13:32Standards. And it's not like dollars for
- 13:34dictators, like buying our metals from third world
- 13:37countries. So that just personally, I think
- 13:39that's important. Yeah, it's a good point.
- 13:44Yeah, excellent, Excellent point.
- 13:46Let me go back. I'm going to go to the other
- 13:48slide just to give a kind of a synopsis of the benefits that
- 13:52you guys outlined. Let me go back here.
- 13:56Here we go, there we go creating, creating a leading
- 14:00high grade US focus silver developer.
- 14:03So we're going to have the Red Mountain project which is
- 14:05obviously under Silver 47 at this point, the Hughes project
- 14:09in Nevada and Mogian in New Mexico.
- 14:13Gary, you want to give us a little overview of Red Mountain
- 14:16and and what some exciting things that are going on there
- 14:19right now? Sure.
- 14:20Yeah, we're just ramping up now. Our 2025 drilling season will be
- 14:27crews mobilizing there early June and we'll be drilling
- 14:30likely before the mid of June this year.
- 14:33And we've got a quite a significant budget.
- 14:36You know we're working through what it's going to take to
- 14:40really expand that resource. So the the main mission for 2025
- 14:44at Red Mountain is going to be to growing our resource.
- 14:47We already have a pretty substantial high grade silver
- 14:51resource and and we're looking to grow that meaningfully and
- 14:55hopefully it's enough to sort of tick the box on.
- 15:00I guess the next step would be to well basically get looking to
- 15:03get it into a new resource statement.
- 15:05But on the back of that perhaps if we have enough tonnage from
- 15:08this season is to move it into APEA.
- 15:11So we, we have a pretty, pretty aggressive strategy to
- 15:16accelerate the development, development of this project
- 15:19into, you know, into a mine ultimately.
- 15:22And we think we can fast track that if we can have a successful
- 15:25drill season, which we're confident that we will.
- 15:28And in addition to that, we've got a number of targets.
- 15:31I mean, we've got many targets on this 60 kilometer trend.
- 15:35It's a massive wholly owned project here that most of the
- 15:39work's been focused on, on a couple of the zones that Dry
- 15:42Creek and West Tundra that make up the resource.
- 15:44But there's tons of targets that are yet to be drill tested and
- 15:47just within the resource like you're showing here.
- 15:49Now if you look at some of the, the silver and gold Grays are
- 15:52quite impressive and that's what got us excited about it.
- 15:56And we just see lots of room to grow this resource and the
- 15:59mineralization is quite consistent and someone pretty
- 16:02impressive silver hits here. So, so we want to continue to
- 16:05grow this thing and like I said, move it into APDA as as soon as
- 16:09we can. OK.
- 16:11And and, and there's also some other critical minerals at Red
- 16:16Mountain, you touched on that earlier.
- 16:19Can you, can you expound on that just a little bit for us?
- 16:22Yeah. So what's interesting is when we
- 16:24we actually had a look at all casino's been obviously a big
- 16:26push on critical minerals in the last year or so.
- 16:30And we looked at all of our data and surprisingly came up with
- 16:34pretty meaningful amounts of antimony and and gallium.
- 16:38And up until about 2019, they never even assayed from the
- 16:44previous operators and previous drilling, they never assayed for
- 16:47those those elements. But since 2019, they started
- 16:51analyzing for them and, and we found pretty consistent and
- 16:55meaningful amounts of antimony and gallium and, and those,
- 16:59those prices of those commodities have really been
- 17:01ripping the last year mainly since trying to ban the export
- 17:04of them. And, and China dominates the the
- 17:07production of antimony and gallium like many other critical
- 17:10minerals. So we think there's an
- 17:12opportunity to add some value to, we need to do some
- 17:17metallurgical work, but we think whatever that number is on the
- 17:20recoveries, we think it's going to be a value add in addition to
- 17:23what's already a robust and attractive high grade, you know,
- 17:27exploration opportunity. So yeah, we're excited to do
- 17:30that, get some work on those elements just if we can put them
- 17:33into the fold and perhaps into the next resource statement.
- 17:36But we'll we need to see what kind of metallurgical recoveries
- 17:39we can get from that. But that's again it's just a
- 17:42value add for us. Yeah, awesome, Awesome.
- 17:44So that's project number one in Alaska.
- 17:47Now, Galen, I know you have two flagship projects.
- 17:50I guess you could say, or correct me if I'm wrong, Mogian
- 17:54in New Mexico and the Hughes project in Nevada.
- 17:58Should I flip a coin to ask you which one I'll have you talk
- 18:01about first? I know they're both very
- 18:03exciting, so I'll let you pick. Why don't you go ahead and tell
- 18:07us about those two projects? Sure sounds good.
- 18:10So we have two lower 48 US silver focus projects that were
- 18:16at one time these Wild West historic, you know, mining
- 18:19places that, you know, we, we often see about on TV and in the
- 18:23movies. And you find that there's an old
- 18:25adage in, in exploration and in mining.
- 18:27It's like the best place to find a new mine is right next to the
- 18:30old mine. So the one I'm going to start
- 18:32with is in Nevada because we just recently were drilling
- 18:34there and that one's called Hughes.
- 18:37It's called Hughes just because it used to be owned by Howard
- 18:39Hughes. So that's just a tip of the cap
- 18:41to the history. And this is in the historic
- 18:44Tonopah Mining District, big past producer in Nevada around
- 18:48the turn of the 20th century. And it's one of the reasons that
- 18:52Nevada is known as the Silver State.
- 18:54And when you drive into Nevada, it still says welcome to the
- 18:56Silver State and we have the eastern half of the historic
- 18:59mining district and it's about two and a half mile extension.
- 19:05So that's really where what we're focused on.
- 19:06You can see there, those are our resource estimates there, 10
- 19:10million ounces in the indicated category, 33 million ounces in
- 19:15the inferred category and then an additional almost 3,000,000
- 19:19ounces in some old tailings, you know old stuff that's already
- 19:24been processed that still has some silver and gold left in it.
- 19:27But what we see here is just just a great opportunity for
- 19:31upside in addition to all these Oz that we have is to step out
- 19:34from the district in with modern exploration tools that the the
- 19:39old timers, as good as they were, you know, 100 years ago,
- 19:42as good as they were, just didn't, didn't have the same
- 19:44tools that we have today, whether it be drilling, whether
- 19:47it be, you know, 3D software that we can use to visualize the
- 19:50veins better and just increase the the discovery efficiency.
- 19:53You know, we have all that stuff today and we've been quite
- 19:55successful in drilling this drilling this thing out and
- 19:58looking for more. But we think that there's a lot
- 20:01more to find here and that we the work is really only just
- 20:04begun. So you know that.
- 20:06That's that's the Hughes project in Nevada and then I'll move on
- 20:09now to the Maggione project in New Mexico.
- 20:13So this was the largest historic high grade silver producer in
- 20:16the state, you know, produce something like 16,000,000 ounces
- 20:19of silver and 350,000 ounces of gold, which sounds like a lot,
- 20:25right? But it's really not that much
- 20:26when you put it into comparison with, you know, it's cousins in
- 20:30Mexico that the Spanish have been mining going back at least
- 20:34500 years, something like 500 years.
- 20:36You know, this is a very unexplored version of that.
- 20:39And some people even say that this might be the best vein
- 20:43field left remaining in the United States.
- 20:45And I, I tend to agree with that.
- 20:47I, I think that it's definitely up there.
- 20:48It really could be. So we put out a resource, a
- 20:51mineral resource estimate on this project for the first time
- 20:55earlier in earlier this year in January.
- 20:57There's 32,000,000 silver equivalent oz there at a good
- 21:00grade of well over 350g per ton silver equivalent.
- 21:05But the big, the big thing is, is like, OK, well, we've only,
- 21:07only partially covered, you know, I'm going to use
- 21:10kilometers because that's what it says on the slide.
- 21:12We've only partially covered, you know, almost 2 1/2
- 21:14kilometers of 1 vein. There's an additional 75
- 21:18kilometers of vein and perspective good geological
- 21:22structures on the property that have seen a little bit of old
- 21:25mining, but no real modern exploration.
- 21:28And that's where we can come in and and really add value here
- 21:31over the long term. So that's that's really what
- 21:35we're excited about is, is you can go back here and just keep
- 21:38stepping out and likely in my professional opinion as a
- 21:41geologist continue to hit good mineralization.
- 21:44So lots of work to do on all three of these projects.
- 21:47And and correct me if I'm wrong, Galen the Mogi on project was
- 21:52was an operating mine. It was doing really well and
- 21:56wasn't it shut down because of one of the wars that broke out?
- 21:58Like it was doing great, but it just kind of was shut down for
- 22:01World War 2 or World War One if I remember correctly.
- 22:05Yeah, that's right. It was World War 2.
- 22:06So the reason that mining in Maggio, New Mexico shut down and
- 22:11they were in there and working on it was that in 1942, there
- 22:13was an executive order and then all precious metals mining
- 22:17stopped in the United States by law.
- 22:19So the guys can go and mine iron for steel and things like that,
- 22:22right? It just wasn't.
- 22:23It wasn't a priority and and never really started up after
- 22:26that, never really started up after that.
- 22:29Interesting. And and you mentioned something
- 22:31that I've never thought of before with the Mogi on project
- 22:33that you I think you refer to it as its cousins in Mexico.
- 22:37We all know that Mexico is the, you know, the silver, biggest
- 22:40silver producer in the world as I understand it.
- 22:43And I would imagine New Mexico obviously is not too far
- 22:47geographically away. So it is like part of that same
- 22:51system that that produces so much silver in Mexico.
- 22:56Yeah, I call it part of that same geologic province or clan
- 23:00is probably a better way to put it.
- 23:02When I get to hear about the prospect of buying, you know,
- 23:05silver in the ground it valued at under a dollar per oz, I get
- 23:09very excited and that's generally can be the case within
- 23:12the the developer exploration stage companies.
- 23:15But it looks like you guys are going to be presenting even a
- 23:18more attractive option. Can you tell us a little more
- 23:21about that? Yeah, I mean this slide kind of
- 23:25lays it out right. We're, we're on a combined
- 23:27basis, well probably today even less than $0.19 an ounce on a
- 23:33enterprise value of silver equivalent in the ground.
- 23:36And I think that's an attractive value proposition for somebody
- 23:39looking, you know, to getting a good deal on a, on a company
- 23:43with great assets. And if you look at our peers to
- 23:46the right of this, you know, they're 5859 and over well over
- 23:50a dollar per oz in the ground. So we think there's just huge
- 23:53torque on, on this new company going forward.
- 23:58And I think that's, that's great for investors to get in, you
- 24:01know, get in early while we're still, we're still young as a,
- 24:05as a company. Yeah, yeah.
- 24:07I get very passionate when I tell people like you can buy
- 24:10silver in the ground in the United States for less than a
- 24:14dollar per oz. So when you think about the big
- 24:17picture for silver at least, what my personal belief is that
- 24:21in the next year to 10 years, we're going to see some great
- 24:25times for for silver. What about the company's
- 24:30combined or what about the capital structure inside
- 24:33ownership? Is is there a guy named Eric
- 24:36Sprott that has an interest in the company at all?
- 24:40Yes, yeah. Yes.
- 24:42That, that, that simple answer is of course, yes.
- 24:44I think there's a slide we can show with the new capital
- 24:47structure actually. OK, Yeah, let me see.
- 24:49If I can, I can speak to you a little bit.
- 24:51I will. I believe I actually have that
- 24:53written down. Galen and slide #11 Yep, there
- 24:58we go. Is that it?
- 24:59Yeah. So this slide I think really,
- 25:01really does a really good job of laying out what the merger looks
- 25:04like. And you know that the
- 25:05shareholders that we're going to have just post on a post merger
- 25:08basis. So if you look at on the pro
- 25:11forma basis, we've got Eric Sprott in there at 12%, We've
- 25:16got institutionals, institutions and strategic investors in there
- 25:20at 15% and then management in there at 10%, which I think
- 25:24combined is, is a quite a strong place to be in.
- 25:29It's a, it's a really, when we say at the market merger, you
- 25:32know, it's just based on our average prices over 20 days,
- 25:36that's pretty close to 5050 with a Silver 47 being about 56% and
- 25:41Summa silver being about 44%. But that's just, you know, we
- 25:46thought we felt because we are, our valuations were so close as
- 25:49we worked through this process of negotiating, that the best
- 25:52thing to do is, you know, to to just be, to keep it simple and
- 25:55smash things together, for lack of a better term.
- 25:57And and here we are. Yep, out outstanding.
- 26:03And I want to emphasize this is a friendly merger.
- 26:06Obviously we have the CE OS of both companies on here together
- 26:11that that you guys both believe that this will be in the best
- 26:15interest. You know that it'll create some
- 26:17great economies of scale, some great synergies and and create
- 26:20more value for shareholders as well.
- 26:24Yeah, we think so. I mean, we took the approach of,
- 26:27you know, no premiums and just come together at market is, is
- 26:30how we've structured this thing. And look at, we all know that
- 26:34we're all undervalued here, at least we we feel that we are.
- 26:37And so we thought it was just the easiest thing to do is just
- 26:40come together and, and make a bigger, better company.
- 26:43And, and we're, yeah, we're pretty excited about this thing
- 26:45going forward. OK.
- 26:47OK. Anything else either of you
- 26:49would like to add? I always forget to ask
- 26:51something, so anything. Else there's there's one thing
- 26:55that you know, I think it was important for silver 47 is
- 26:58because we have this Red Mountain project in Alaska,
- 27:01which is a great opportunity, but it is in Alaska and you
- 27:05know, when it's winter time, it's, it's tougher to to do
- 27:08exploration. So I think one of the
- 27:10opportunities that, that we see combining with Zuma Silver is
- 27:14the fact that we can now work in, in the southern, southern US
- 27:17on, on our offseason for compared to Red Mountain.
- 27:20So you'll see the new company have a lot more news flow in, in
- 27:24Alaska in the summer and then in the Southern US and you know in
- 27:28the fall winter months. So I think that combination is
- 27:31going to be it's going to be good for shareholders.
- 27:34Yeah. I mean, you guys already have a
- 27:35massive resource, but I want to emphasize to our viewer, and
- 27:40maybe both of you can comment on this, there's real, I mean, the
- 27:44intention is to make it even bigger.
- 27:46I am I remembering correctly There may be a goal to get it up
- 27:49to almost possibly even a billion ounces of silver?
- 27:53Yeah, that's the dream. I mean we just we want to grow
- 27:56and we know that we could grow through the drill bit.
- 27:59But you know M&A is, is certainly part of that equation.
- 28:02So I don't think we're I don't think we're done on the M and A
- 28:04front. We're going to continue to look
- 28:06for creative acquisitions and then obviously we want to
- 28:09continue to grow, you know, through the drill bit.
- 28:11So yeah, it's a pretty hefty goal, but we we definitely want
- 28:14to grow and want to get up, get up to the front of the pack, if
- 28:17you will. OK, OK.
- 28:19For. Sure, for sure.
- 28:20And then from my end, just the last thing that I wanted to say
- 28:22was that we were talking about owning physical silver.
- 28:24Well, I just wanted to show you guys my new favorite piece of
- 28:27physical silver here. You can see there some, some
- 28:30sometime, you know, you hear that there's no such thing as a
- 28:32silver bullet. Well, sometimes there is.
- 28:36Nice. Well, Galen, I'd get in trouble
- 28:39because here's mine. I gave my wife this for
- 28:41Valentine's Day. Beautiful, yeah.
- 28:45About four years ago, it's 3 ounces of silver, and somehow it
- 28:48wound up on my desk, so you know it's on your.
- 28:51Desk. It's on my desk.
- 28:54Yeah. I, I, I love silver and I'm
- 28:57super excited again about the prospects for silver in general,
- 29:02but also the idea of a company like yours that has silver in
- 29:06the ground in the United States, zero debt, unless I'm mistaken,
- 29:11and, and just prospects to continue to grow.
- 29:14And, and, and you know, I've always been a big deep value
- 29:17investor. And let's just be real, the
- 29:20whole precious metals development sector has been out
- 29:24of favor for a long time. And in the, the, the value
- 29:28opportunity is just, it's astounding, right?
- 29:31Like we talked about earlier, when you get silver, I joke
- 29:34around and tell people, hey, you know, I love physical silver,
- 29:37but I really like it even cheaper in the ground.
- 29:40It's like in the best safe in the world.
- 29:42And we can just, you know, wait for the market to correct.
- 29:45And I think, you know, I don't give financial advice.
- 29:48I'm not a financial advisor, but you know, being patient and and
- 29:54holding on to some of these stocks in the, in the precious
- 29:57metals development and exploration stage, I think can
- 30:01provide some great opportunity for possible capital
- 30:05appreciation. And you know, I've talked to
- 30:07both of you independently in the past over the years, got a lot
- 30:11of respect for both of you. So I'm very excited to see that
- 30:15you're combining this effort and I can't wait to see where it
- 30:19goes. I also want to mention I'll have
- 30:21links to both the company's websites in the description of
- 30:24the video. Thank you guys.
- 30:27Yeah, I appreciate it. Thanks a lot, Ron.
- 30:29Yeah. Thank you.
- 30:29Great to be on. Great to see you and thanks
- 30:31again. Yep, we'll see you soon.
- 30:33Thanks. All right, take care.
- 30:34Bye now.
