- 0:00Speaker 1: And now move the sticks with Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks.
- 0:07Speaker 2: What's up, everybody?
- 0:08Speaker 3: Welcome to move the sticks, DJ, Bucky, Rhett, back with you.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Buck.
- 0:11Speaker 3: First of all, we missed you yesterday. We had a
- 0:13Speaker 3: lot of good things to say about the Jags.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Man. We were just very positive. There's a lot of
- 0:17Speaker 2: energy about you. I'm doing well.
- 0:22Speaker 1: And before we even talk about the Jags, let me
- 0:23Speaker 1: tell you, DJ, I don't know if you've had a
- 0:26Speaker 1: chance to see the Chicago Bears up close and in person,
- 0:30Speaker 1: Like the way they attacked the football, I have never.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Seen anything like swinging on the foot.
- 0:36Speaker 1: I have never seen any team that is more obsessed
- 0:39Speaker 1: with knocking the ball loose and to be there. So
- 0:43Speaker 1: on the call Westwood one, Peanut Tillman is there, and
- 0:47Speaker 1: so one to see Peanut Tillman one. That is exactly
- 0:51Speaker 1: how you want him at corner. He is as long
- 0:52Speaker 1: as as tall as whatever as you want. But DJ,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I mean they are relentless going after it to the
- 0:59Speaker 1: point where you know when you work for the charge
- 1:01Speaker 1: of whatever. I'm on the field, you in the booth.
- 1:02Speaker 1: But after the game, everyone goes and exchanges pleasantries. I
- 1:06Speaker 1: talked to a couple of their coaches like, hey, man,
- 1:11Speaker 1: it's a team to go after the ball like that.
- 1:14Speaker 1: And I talked to a few of them. They were like, man,
- 1:16Speaker 1: BLUs talks about it every day. He demands that they
- 1:19Speaker 1: go after it. They demand it, they practice it, and then.
- 1:24Speaker 2: They reward it.
- 1:25Speaker 1: So they talked about the rewards they give the players
- 1:27Speaker 1: for knocking the ball loose and having a production chart
- 1:29Speaker 1: and all this other stuff. And I can just say,
- 1:32Speaker 1: and and redt knows this from our time at the
- 1:35Speaker 1: East West game when we had the Chicago coaches and
- 1:37Speaker 1: how they were it.
- 1:40Speaker 2: It's really remarkable to see how they go after it.
- 1:42Speaker 4: And I was listening to Peanut on the radio and
- 1:45Speaker 4: he was calling for he was saying, guys, that's enough,
- 1:49Speaker 4: Like you're giving up a little too many extra yard
- 1:52Speaker 4: Like at some point you've got to get the guys down.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Slow down with the tackle too, you know, when it's
- 2:00Speaker 4: too much for when it's too much for.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Nut, I mean they're uppercutting after it. I mean every
- 2:06Speaker 1: time someone is tackled, it is it's like on the speedback. Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: is the craziest thing that I've ever seen, But it works.
- 2:16Speaker 1: And what it does is going into the game. The
- 2:19Speaker 1: Jacks has such a fear of losing the ball. The
- 2:23Speaker 1: DJ Early in the game, Evan Ingram catches when he
- 2:25Speaker 1: could get maybe five more yards and he basically just
- 2:27Speaker 1: collapses because he's he's worried about them coming from all angles.
- 2:31Speaker 2: It's uh, they've done a really good job.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And I would say the quarterback Carrie Joseph is one
- 2:36Speaker 1: of their guys that works on offense. He's a buddy
- 2:38Speaker 1: of mine and he works really closely with Caleb, and
- 2:40Speaker 1: he just talked about how the light is going on
- 2:42Speaker 1: and how they've really helped Caleb, like is a mix
- 2:46Speaker 1: of some of the stuff he did in college with
- 2:47Speaker 1: some basic stuff and they're kind of evolving. But I'm
- 2:49Speaker 1: gonna tell you, man, he is as confident as you
- 2:52Speaker 1: can see a young quarterback be. And it's not hard.
- 2:55Speaker 1: But when you just see the ball going to hoop,
- 2:58Speaker 1: there's something to be said for seeing the ball going
- 3:00Speaker 1: hoop and how it helps you down the line later
- 3:03Speaker 1: in games.
- 3:03Speaker 2: How's it come out of his hand? Buck? Oh, he
- 3:06Speaker 2: can spin it. But you know what's the funny thing.
- 3:08Speaker 1: And it's really my first time seeing Caleb live because
- 3:11Speaker 1: I watched all those se games, but I didn't watch
- 3:13Speaker 1: him live.
- 3:15Speaker 2: The game is very easy. And I know people made.
- 3:18Speaker 1: A lot of comparisons to Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but here's where I would say the comparison to Myhomes
- 3:24Speaker 1: and maybe even Rogers is like it's the calmness with
- 3:29Speaker 1: which he plays while he's running around frantically that really
- 3:33Speaker 1: gets you. Like when he's scrambling around and it seems
- 3:36Speaker 1: like it's chaotic for everyone else, when you look at him,
- 3:39Speaker 1: it is almost like his heart, his heart doesn't even
- 3:41Speaker 1: skip a beat, you know, like there's this he can
- 3:45Speaker 1: go to the line, he can whip it all over,
- 3:47Speaker 1: he can scramble, he can move around. You forget how
- 3:49Speaker 1: athletic he is, but he's using his athleticism to look
- 3:53Speaker 1: for shot plays and so it's different and as he's
- 3:57Speaker 1: learning how to rein it in in terms of like
- 3:59Speaker 1: the risk taking. The Bears are a really good quarterback
- 4:03Speaker 1: and they're going to be a really good team because
- 4:04Speaker 1: their weapons are fast, they're dynamic, and with the defense
- 4:07Speaker 1: that they have, they can win a lot of games.
- 4:09Speaker 2: With Kayla Williams installed as the QB.
- 4:10Speaker 3: One, Yeah, they have the commanders coming up.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I believe in two weeks.
- 4:15Speaker 3: So when they do, we're gonna have to blow out
- 4:17Speaker 3: a whole episode on just these two guys. And how
- 4:20Speaker 3: I mean it could be the face of the league,
- 4:21Speaker 3: of the quarterback position, you know, for the next decade
- 4:23Speaker 3: with what we've seen thus far, Jayden really from Jump
- 4:26Speaker 3: and Caleb what we've seen over the last few weeks.
- 4:29Speaker 3: All Right, we do have some news here. It's signed
- 4:31Speaker 3: for the lead block presented by T Mobile four business.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Football needs a network willing to go the extra yards,
- 4:35Speaker 3: So do you go further with T Mobile four business.
- 4:38Speaker 2: We got a trade and it was one that I
- 4:40Speaker 2: don't know anybody's.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Surprised by, especially after the Jets lost last night to
- 4:44Speaker 3: the Buffalo Bills. I woke up this morning that thing
- 4:46Speaker 3: was already done. Davante Adams going to the Jets Surprise
- 4:50Speaker 3: level one to ten.
- 4:53Speaker 4: I mean, I want to clarify this, like you are
- 4:56Speaker 4: less surprised after the loss that they need that they
- 5:00Speaker 4: need this in order to get back rolling, or were
- 5:03Speaker 4: you like that's spiration?
- 5:04Speaker 5: Okay, that's yeah. So in that point, I would say
- 5:08Speaker 5: surprise level is five.
- 5:11Speaker 4: You know, I think there's a part of you that's
- 5:13Speaker 4: like Okay, do we want to give up the future
- 5:16Speaker 4: resources if this season is there's no future.
- 5:18Speaker 2: There's no future, there's no future. This is yourself.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Say you have a forty year old quarterback, your window
- 5:25Speaker 3: is like it is rapidly closing. You have given him
- 5:29Speaker 3: what he wants and right now it's it's really not working.
- 5:32Speaker 3: And the fact that the last two games have ended
- 5:35Speaker 3: on interceptions to Mike Williams, which was, you know, not
- 5:38Speaker 3: great at in and of itself. When I'm watching the
- 5:40Speaker 3: post game last night and Aaron Rodgers ran him over
- 5:42Speaker 3: with a bus, I was like, well, this is over.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I mean, this is over like that that they are
- 5:47Speaker 3: all He's gonna get whatever he wants. You're pot committed.
- 5:49Speaker 3: All your chips are in the middle of the table.
- 5:51Speaker 3: So you've got to play that. You got to play it.
- 5:53Speaker 3: And so there was no surprise at all that this
- 5:55Speaker 3: this trade got done. It's not my by the way,
- 5:57Speaker 3: I will say this, I don't and I don't and
- 6:00Speaker 3: I'm sure Aaron Rodgers probably right. You know, maybe Mike Williams,
- 6:03Speaker 3: you know, ran the wrong route at the end of
- 6:05Speaker 3: the game. Two things on that. Number One, most quarterbacks
- 6:08Speaker 3: would not air that publicly most quarterbacks would take the
- 6:11Speaker 3: blame publicly and then have that conversation with him and
- 6:15Speaker 3: maybe even a heated conversation with him privately, but publicly,
- 6:18Speaker 3: most quarterbacks would own it and take it for their teammate.
- 6:22Speaker 2: He did not. He did not do that.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Number Two, I was around Mike Williams calling Charger games
- 6:27Speaker 3: for his entire career. If you gave me a list
- 6:30Speaker 3: of my five favorite maybe even top three, he might
- 6:33Speaker 3: be one of my three favorite guys I've ever been around.
- 6:36Speaker 3: He is an unbelievable dude. And look, sometimes it doesn't
- 6:40Speaker 3: work places, but man, I did not think he deserved
- 6:42Speaker 3: to get aired out like that, even if he did
- 6:44Speaker 3: run the wrong route.
- 6:45Speaker 5: Fair.
- 6:46Speaker 4: I'm just curious, So, where where does DeVante Adams make
- 6:50Speaker 4: the biggest impact right for Aaron Rodgers in this offense,
- 6:53Speaker 4: you know, like, and how does it affect Garrett Wilson
- 6:56Speaker 4: and like, So where do we see the biggest positive
- 6:59Speaker 4: benefit other than the fact that you've got built in chemistry, right,
- 7:02Speaker 4: You've got built in knowledge and experience from Rogers and
- 7:05Speaker 4: from Adams on.
- 7:06Speaker 5: What each other expects out of the other one.
- 7:09Speaker 4: As it's like, as things are happening on the field, right,
- 7:12Speaker 4: So are we getting more like easier completions? Is that
- 7:15Speaker 4: how you see this thing essentially working? Get the ball
- 7:18Speaker 4: out of your hand, quicker. You know what Davante can
- 7:20Speaker 4: do off the line, get some of those quick throws
- 7:22Speaker 4: that we saw back in Green Bay like Bucky.
- 7:24Speaker 5: How do you see Davante having the biggest impact.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I really don't know, because, like I think, what you
- 7:30Speaker 1: have is you have guys that can play nice together.
- 7:32Speaker 1: But I don't know how it works within the fabric
- 7:34Speaker 1: of a team. You have a young player, Gary Wilson,
- 7:37Speaker 1: who is ready to go to the next level, but
- 7:39Speaker 1: now his growth is stunted because you're gonna bring over
- 7:42Speaker 1: Devonte Adams. And I'll say this here, I believe DeVante
- 7:46Speaker 1: Adams is a descending player. I don't think he is
- 7:48Speaker 1: what he was two years ago. He's definitely not what
- 7:51Speaker 1: he was three years ago. And sometimes when you have
- 7:53Speaker 1: an older player who still fancies himself as a top
- 7:56Speaker 1: five receiver, they think that they can do certain things
- 8:00Speaker 1: in there, entitled to being the number one on top
- 8:02Speaker 1: of the pecking water or whatever. This to me only
- 8:06Speaker 1: disrupts their locker room. It doesn't bring it together. Because
- 8:09Speaker 1: I know Garrett Whistler looking around like, okay, so what
- 8:12Speaker 1: does this mean for my targets? What does it mean
- 8:14Speaker 1: for everybody else's targets? I don't know, Like, yes, mine,
- 8:18Speaker 1: I understand going all then, but I don't think it
- 8:20Speaker 1: makes them better.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I'm Rogers.
- 8:21Speaker 4: I gotta sell this thing, bitch, like I gotta sell
- 8:24Speaker 4: this like I gotta I gotta sell how this is
- 8:26Speaker 4: gonna work for Garrett Wilson in a more positive manner?
- 8:29Speaker 2: Right?
- 8:29Speaker 4: I mean, I gotta figure out a way to make
- 8:31Speaker 4: both these guys feel the right way.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Here's here's my and I'll try and spin it positively.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Here my two things.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Number one, I went back and watched all of Davante's targets,
- 8:44Speaker 3: so he's literally fresh in my mind him and just
- 8:46Speaker 3: watched him.
- 8:47Speaker 2: There's not a ton of separation.
- 8:49Speaker 3: But what he is is he's going to be where
- 8:50Speaker 3: he's supposed to be when he's supposed to be there.
- 8:52Speaker 3: He knows the offense inside. Now there's gonna be a
- 8:54Speaker 3: trust factor. You get Blitz and Hots, he's gonna know
- 8:56Speaker 3: exactly where to be and Aaron's comfortable with him.
- 8:59Speaker 2: So that's the first point.
- 9:00Speaker 3: The second point is, if you took if you took
- 9:03Speaker 3: Alan Lazard and put him on any of the thirty
- 9:05Speaker 3: one other teams in the league. He I mean, I
- 9:07Speaker 3: don't know that he gets on the field much less
- 9:09Speaker 3: is having the production that he's having. So that does
- 9:11Speaker 3: speak to chemistry mattering for Aaron Rodgers, the fact that
- 9:15Speaker 3: he's been able to get that out of Allen Lazard.
- 9:17Speaker 3: And now you have somebody who, while he might not
- 9:20Speaker 3: be buck what Davante was three years ago, he's the
- 9:23Speaker 3: heck of a lot more talented than Allen Lazard. And
- 9:25Speaker 3: Alanizzard's putting up hundred yard games just because he's on
- 9:28Speaker 3: the same page with the quarterback, So I think he'll
- 9:31Speaker 3: be productive. My concern is what yours is is that.
- 9:36Speaker 2: If you're if.
- 9:37Speaker 3: You're Garrett Wilson, you are the Ferrari that's parked in
- 9:40Speaker 3: the garage, and you're gonna watch the owner walk into
- 9:43Speaker 3: the garage, look at you and getting the pickup truck
- 9:46Speaker 3: and go driving away. You're gonna be sitting here going
- 9:48Speaker 3: like I'm a Ferrari, here like I'm a Lamborghini, Like
- 9:50Speaker 3: you gotta you're gonna take me out for a spinner.
- 9:52Speaker 3: You guys are gonna keep using these other guys, because
- 9:54Speaker 3: I do think you talk about Davante maybe not being
- 9:57Speaker 3: what he was and maybe on the slight decline, Garrett
- 9:59Speaker 3: Wilson and is already fantastic and he is only going
- 10:02Speaker 3: to get better, should only be getting better.
- 10:04Speaker 2: And I don't see how that, you know.
- 10:06Speaker 3: From from just a statistical standpoint, benefits him.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I don't know how it does.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Like there's yeah, I mean, like besides being able to
- 10:17Speaker 1: ask Devanta Adams different things about getting open and and
- 10:20Speaker 1: like elite nuanced conversation that wide receiver once have.
- 10:24Speaker 2: I don't know how it helps him.
- 10:26Speaker 1: You put both of them on the field, you have
- 10:28Speaker 1: to remove somebody, and it's having at a time where
- 10:31Speaker 1: you just beginning to remember, oh, brees Hall is a
- 10:33Speaker 1: pretty good player. Now if we can give Breesaw and
- 10:36Speaker 1: Braylen all on the ball, maybe it creates more opportunities
- 10:39Speaker 1: for Gear Wilson on the outside. A lot of mouths
- 10:43Speaker 1: and feet in this offense right now, A lot of
- 10:45Speaker 1: check with me.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Pittsburgh Pittsburgh next week? Is that right? I think so?
- 10:50Speaker 2: Coming up? Yeah, I think Pittsburgh.
- 10:53Speaker 5: In Pittsburgh Sunday night football.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Here's here's my thing. Quickly, rat quick quickly. Yeah, Russell,
- 10:58Speaker 3: We'll get to that in a second. Here's quick Ritt.
- 11:01Speaker 3: If you're coming into this game this, you know what
- 11:03Speaker 3: this feels like. This feels like and I know all
- 11:06Speaker 3: of the attention pregame leading up to it the entire week.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Davante Aaron, Davante Aaron, and all I'm thinking of. I'm
- 11:13Speaker 3: not thinking of those two guys. I'm thinking of Tyron
- 11:15Speaker 3: Smith and TJ.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Watt. That's what I'm thinking of. No Bueno, No Bueno.
- 11:20Speaker 4: And Olu Fashionu and Alex Heismith on the other like,
- 11:24Speaker 4: which is Morgan Moses Moses?
- 11:26Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, right, So he.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Was serviceable, he played fine, Tyron Smith watched that Go
- 11:30Speaker 3: back and watch that tape against Buffalo not good?
- 11:33Speaker 4: Well uh yeah, no shortage of storylines for the Gang
- 11:39Speaker 4: on Sunday Night with Russell Wilson. Now, by the way,
- 11:43Speaker 4: did I mean just a quick thought, like Buck, does
- 11:44Speaker 4: that make sense to you to go back to Russell
- 11:46Speaker 4: here or to go to Russell for the first time
- 11:49Speaker 4: You're four and two.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't, I don't know. Man.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Like, Look, you got a team going be increasingly becoming
- 11:56Speaker 1: more and more of Justin Feels's team. You look at
- 11:58Speaker 1: how Najia Harris and all the guys are interacting with him,
- 12:02Speaker 1: and it comes the look, Justin Fields has been the
- 12:05Speaker 1: great substitute teacher. Right, everyone is thriving, we're busting. Now
- 12:08Speaker 1: comes the regular teach into the classroom. What does that
- 12:11Speaker 1: look like?
- 12:12Speaker 4: If it like the reverse Kurt Warner Eli Manning with
- 12:15Speaker 4: the Giants thing right, put the older guy in.
- 12:18Speaker 2: It puts so much pressure on Russell Wilson.
- 12:20Speaker 1: They hit the ground running. Yeah, I mean he has
- 12:22Speaker 1: to hit the ground running with his team. And look,
- 12:24Speaker 1: it wasn't that Justin Fields.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Lit it up.
- 12:26Speaker 1: But they won games in a workman like fast and
- 12:29Speaker 1: they were beginning to find their identity with him at quarterback.
- 12:32Speaker 1: You now are changing all of that with Russell Wilson there.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I think there's a lot of pressure on the Super
- 12:38Speaker 1: Bowl champ to kind of figure out a way to
- 12:39Speaker 1: coexist with his team.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, it's it is a it's a different dynamic.
- 12:46Speaker 3: I'm pulling up their schedule right now because I want
- 12:48Speaker 3: to see what's on the horizon here. So they've got
- 12:50Speaker 3: the Jets coming up, we just mentioned that. Then they've
- 12:53Speaker 3: got the Giants and then at Washington. Then Baltimore. So
- 12:57Speaker 3: those are the next group of games. So interesting thing is, man,
- 13:01Speaker 3: you you looked at the preceding games. I think what
- 13:04Speaker 3: this might be about is about that loss to Dallas
- 13:07Speaker 3: when they lost to the Cowboys and only scored seventeen
- 13:10Speaker 3: points against the defense that as we saw what the
- 13:12Speaker 3: Lions did against.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Him of the night. Yeah, not very good.
- 13:15Speaker 3: And that's and that's and look, I'll give I'll give
- 13:19Speaker 3: Tomlin credit there. If we're going to teach as we
- 13:23Speaker 3: always talk about and and say process over results, process
- 13:27Speaker 3: over results. I think that's this is a great example
- 13:30Speaker 3: of sticking to that and saying I don't care what
- 13:32Speaker 3: the result is. We may be won, but the process
- 13:34Speaker 3: and what we look like offensively, that is not good
- 13:36Speaker 3: enough for us to get where we want to go.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, how do you argue with that? You can't argue that.
- 13:41Speaker 2: I can't.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I can't say anything in terms of his process because
- 13:44Speaker 1: he finds a way to get it done and maybe
- 13:45Speaker 1: he is banking on we can have a higher ceiling
- 13:49Speaker 1: down the line with some of the bullies that we're
- 13:51Speaker 1: going to meet, because he obviously is looking within the division.
- 13:54Speaker 1: You're looking at Baltimore, You're looking at Cincinnati when they
- 13:57Speaker 1: get it to go, not necessarily Cleveland because they're struggling.
- 14:00Speaker 1: But you're saying, in those games, we don't have to
- 14:03Speaker 1: get to twenty seven maybe to win, I can't count
- 14:05Speaker 1: on my defense to hold everybody to seventeen or fewer points.
- 14:09Speaker 1: What gives us the best chance to get the twenty
- 14:12Speaker 1: six twenty seven points per game?
- 14:14Speaker 2: Maybe he's saying, Russell Willson, you can give them that.
- 14:16Speaker 1: And it might not even have anything to do with
- 14:18Speaker 1: Russell's passing ability, but his knowledge and being able to
- 14:21Speaker 1: execute the check with me game is some of the
- 14:23Speaker 1: nuances of winning the game.
- 14:26Speaker 2: At the line of.
- 14:26Speaker 4: Scriptage, yeah, I could see that part of it, but
- 14:31Speaker 4: I think you're gonna put yourself in a real awkward
- 14:33Speaker 4: situation if this doesn't go well. Like, I don't think
- 14:36Speaker 4: you have any like do you have an extended runway here.
- 14:39Speaker 5: For Russell Wilson?
- 14:41Speaker 3: I mean, like, you know who's not process over results
- 14:43Speaker 3: your fans.
- 14:47Speaker 4: Hard one, hard one to sell there if we're talking
- 14:50Speaker 4: about selling things today.
- 14:52Speaker 2: There you go.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Well, that's a rap for the lead block presented by
- 14:55Speaker 3: Tea Mobile for Business. Football needs a network willing to
- 14:57Speaker 3: go to the extra yard and so do you go
- 14:59Speaker 3: further with mobile for business? Take quick break, we come back,
- 15:02Speaker 3: we'll have our rookie draft. It looks like, by the way,
- 15:05Speaker 3: looking at what happened last week, I don't know how
- 15:08Speaker 3: the results ended up the way that they did, but
- 15:10Speaker 3: apparently rehtt one going away. We'll get into that right
- 15:12Speaker 3: after this. All right, Uh, Rhett, you called it, man,
- 15:21Speaker 3: I'll give you credit. Caleb Williams twenty eight points. Uh,
- 15:24Speaker 3: you ended up with eight points. I ended up with four.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Buck got shut out. But the Marvin Harrison for a
- 15:29Speaker 3: donut there that that cost you. You got a concussion
- 15:32Speaker 3: right at the start of the game.
- 15:33Speaker 1: So I.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Got that and I got a Brad Tims. You did
- 15:39Speaker 2: not give me a stellar.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Performance, No, well one too many times. You gotta be
- 15:44Speaker 5: careful with that, Bucky.
- 15:45Speaker 2: You gotta, you gotta, you gotta make sure. But you
- 15:47Speaker 2: know what, man, Ritt, I was digging into my Dodger
- 15:50Speaker 2: fandom and I was sometimes you pull out. You gotta
- 15:53Speaker 2: pull out you guys. You know you gotta trust Hernandez
- 15:57Speaker 2: to just figure it out. And you know you us.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I trusted my guess too much in that situation.
- 16:03Speaker 5: But that's what that's fair.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Go Mets go please, I love do America favor all right,
- 16:10Speaker 3: as we look at the standings right now, it is tight.
- 16:14Speaker 3: I've got a one point lead on Bucky, who has
- 16:16Speaker 3: a one point lead on rhet So it's always game
- 16:19Speaker 3: here like RHTT made up a lot of ground.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Uh round? Who did I have? Oh yeah, this is
- 16:26Speaker 2: what you had? You had.
- 16:27Speaker 3: You had Caleb, You had Brock Bowers who had a
- 16:30Speaker 3: great game, and you had Bucky Irving who had who
- 16:32Speaker 3: had a big game. You won all those categories, telling
- 16:35Speaker 3: you guys, well done, well done. I get to Uh,
- 16:38Speaker 3: I get to lead us off today, and uh, there's
- 16:41Speaker 3: no surprise. I think has Jaye Daniels been the first
- 16:44Speaker 3: pick every year? One of these things, especially with Caleb
- 16:46Speaker 3: having a bye. Caleb's on a bye this week, that's
- 16:49Speaker 3: a no brainer. I'm gonna go Jaye and Daniels here.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Bucky, you're up next. You know, quarterback is a really
- 16:55Speaker 2: big thing, and I would love for you a tar heel.
- 16:59Speaker 2: You to go to Tarhill Nation right now? Well, I
- 17:02Speaker 2: got to because I won't read.
- 17:03Speaker 1: They have to make a tough decision between Bo Nicks
- 17:05Speaker 1: and Spencer Ratler. But I feel like I'm working against
- 17:09Speaker 1: myself because Drake May is playing my Jags, but in
- 17:12Speaker 1: this one have to work against I don't know you saw,
- 17:15Speaker 1: I mean, you need to keep your gig, so I won't.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I'm not going to ask you the same. But that
- 17:19Speaker 2: ain't the eighty five Bears. You guys are trotting out
- 17:21Speaker 2: there right now time. So Drake May, Drake May.
- 17:24Speaker 5: Come on, come on down, come on down.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Uh rap back to backers. Yeah.
- 17:30Speaker 4: So this is an interesting one, guys, because we got
- 17:32Speaker 4: some running backs that are kind of stepping into the
- 17:34Speaker 4: conversation here.
- 17:34Speaker 5: And I'm not trying to get.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Less about Tyrone Tracey i'but Ray Davis, thank you. But
- 17:43Speaker 4: can we count on James Cook being out again? I
- 17:46Speaker 4: think is part of the question with that toe injury.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Connie Vaidell, do it, let's do it. Come on touchdown
- 17:53Speaker 3: last week?
- 17:54Speaker 4: How about Indianapolis one hundred meter state champion Isaac Grenda.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Grendo, Wait a.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Minute, look this guy, that is this guy no matter what,
- 18:05Speaker 1: as a Garrinda.
- 18:06Speaker 2: For like six like six months, he showed you this.
- 18:10Speaker 4: He should have scored on that play on Thursday night.
- 18:12Speaker 4: I don't know what was going on there, all right,
- 18:14Speaker 4: You're gonna pull the trigger. You can know, I'm gonna
- 18:16Speaker 4: take the leak Neighbors and and hope, hope he's playing.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Hope he's playing.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Uh.
- 18:20Speaker 5: And then I got another one and with that, I'm gonna.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Go brock Powers ah mm hmm.
- 18:28Speaker 5: So all that just to say, give me, give me
- 18:32Speaker 5: the best.
- 18:32Speaker 4: By the way, Elik Neighbors is still like number two
- 18:35Speaker 4: in terms of rookie receptions.
- 18:36Speaker 5: He hadn't played in two weeks.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I know, m hm m mmm, what do you think, Bud? Wow?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Man, I've stuck between a rock and a hard place,
- 18:46Speaker 1: right Doug, because my favorite guys are.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Struggling, struggling, But I.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Gotta feel like my gay is gonna bounce back, so
- 18:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna stay with him for the long call. I'm
- 18:56Speaker 1: gonna go with bt J in this no matter what
- 18:59Speaker 1: can on me. Ye, That's what I got, no matter
- 19:03Speaker 1: what those there.
- 19:06Speaker 3: All right, I'm gonna go. Yeah, I mean, I gotta,
- 19:11Speaker 3: I gotta hope that Marvin Harrison. I'll have a backup
- 19:14Speaker 3: in case he doesn't play, But I'm gonna go Marvin Harrison.
- 19:19Speaker 2: And then I'm.
- 19:21Speaker 3: I'm gonna go back. I'm gonna I'm gonna just put
- 19:23Speaker 3: him both in that game the Chargers at the at
- 19:26Speaker 3: the Cardinals Monday night. I'll go with I'll go with mconkey.
- 19:30Speaker 5: And you ended up with what a four for forty
- 19:32Speaker 5: eight this last week.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Yeah, they didn't have to.
- 19:34Speaker 3: I mean they kind of jumped on the Broncos and
- 19:36Speaker 3: then just kind of put it on cruise control. So
- 19:39Speaker 3: we'll see, I'm gonna go with him on the fast
- 19:41Speaker 3: track during Arizona. Buck, you've got your final pick here.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Okay, well, look, I'm I think I'm gonna take my
- 19:48Speaker 1: my name said to make sure he's up. I think
- 19:50Speaker 1: Bucky Irvans. I think I'm gona go Bucky Irvan. See
- 19:52Speaker 1: if we can get him in the mix, you can
- 19:54Speaker 1: get him. Think, oh he goes see who we got?
- 19:57Speaker 4: Dang, it's actually a tough one. Uh for those rookie
- 20:01Speaker 4: running backs like that. You've got Bucky's gotta gotta deal
- 20:04Speaker 4: with the Ravens defense. Uh, Grendo's got to deal with
- 20:07Speaker 4: the Chiefs defense. And Ray Davis has got to deal
- 20:11Speaker 4: with the Titans defense, which is like what they can
- 20:13Speaker 4: hang their hat on here?
- 20:14Speaker 3: What about Tyrone Tracy? We're just gonna pretend like he
- 20:16Speaker 3: isn't the guy there right now.
- 20:18Speaker 5: M you know what, that's actually a pretty good move
- 20:27Speaker 5: the Eagles defense.
- 20:29Speaker 4: I need a quarterback though, so I'm gonna I it's
- 20:34Speaker 4: it's it's one of the other in the matchup, right,
- 20:36Speaker 4: Broncos Saints, it's bon Nick Thursday night.
- 20:39Speaker 2: We're gonna get a chance to see this one right away.
- 20:42Speaker 4: Uh, there's no way Sean Payton loses this game.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Give me you're honoring Drew Brees at the at the game,
- 20:52Speaker 3: You're going.
- 20:53Speaker 5: X give me X.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, alright, there you go. This is a tight
- 20:59Speaker 3: Ray guy, the very tight race. I'm not going to
- 21:03Speaker 3: win the quarterback anyway. So I mean it's like it
- 21:06Speaker 3: doesn't matter.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Here's my question.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Are we maybe a week away we get if Ray
- 21:10Speaker 3: Davis kind of solidifies his role there, and we'll see
- 21:13Speaker 3: even I think even when they have a healthy backfield,
- 21:15Speaker 3: I think he's shown that he deserves carries and touches.
- 21:18Speaker 5: Back to putting a running back back there, I.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Think we might have to go back to the old school.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Got to have a running back, got to have a
- 21:23Speaker 3: receiver and a running back. Yeah, so Withers falling, Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Well it's anybody's game right now.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Buck, I don't feel like I don't feel like we're
- 21:33Speaker 3: changing the rules with somebody in a big advantage.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I think we're all basically tied right here. So yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 2: just give it a a little fresh coat of paint,
- 21:40Speaker 2: A little fresh coat of paint like it? By the way,
- 21:44Speaker 2: anything else? Uh buck? When are you taking?
- 21:46Speaker 1: You?
- 21:46Speaker 2: Taking off on red eye going back to London?
- 21:49Speaker 1: I am going to leave Saturday morning to go back.
- 21:51Speaker 1: It'll be interesting to see you.
- 21:53Speaker 2: How long is that? One?
- 21:53Speaker 1: Twelve hours? I like ten, ten or eleven. They break
- 21:58Speaker 1: it up, they do it differently.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Time.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I did it a single shot, did a non stop
- 22:02Speaker 1: last time? Maybe I'll break it up. Standing to Atlanta
- 22:05Speaker 1: in the.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Are you in the lay down steats? You're in the
- 22:07Speaker 2: lay down seats? Oh no, I don't know what kind
- 22:09Speaker 2: of budget you think?
- 22:10Speaker 4: I no, no, no, sixty man, come on, let's come.
- 22:17Speaker 3: You don't have enough miles to get bumped to get
- 22:20Speaker 3: bumped out DJ.
- 22:22Speaker 2: You know those tickets are like eighty five hundred dollars.
- 22:24Speaker 1: They're so expensive, you know, they're like it's like a look,
- 22:28Speaker 1: they may love some bro, but they don't love me
- 22:31Speaker 1: enough to.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Man. I love nothing better than the lay flat oh
- 22:38Speaker 2: right there, man, I look up there with the envy within.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I got it. I have. I have a six year
- 22:43Speaker 2: old car.
- 22:44Speaker 3: I don't care about obviously, you can tell I don't
- 22:47Speaker 3: really care about, you know, super nice clothes. I am
- 22:50Speaker 3: a travel snob. It's because I've been scarred, buck, We've
- 22:52Speaker 3: been scarred from those scouting years.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Man.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Like, I'll gladly spend money on airfare and hotels.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I mean, I dig it. But there's a reason that's
- 23:02Speaker 2: a little pricey, that's a little bit, that's a little much.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Because I look, I was looking all those little upgrade
- 23:07Speaker 1: certificates and all that other stuff.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't do any good. Nope. Yeah.
- 23:11Speaker 3: By the way, Red, you flying, you've been flying a
- 23:14Speaker 3: lot too. I I don't know what happened over the
- 23:16Speaker 3: last few years, but with my airline, when they put
- 23:18Speaker 3: the uh, you know, the upgrade list, when you put
- 23:22Speaker 3: yourself down for the upgrade list, I can't correct the
- 23:24Speaker 3: top thirty.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I'm like, what the frick where are these people going?
- 23:26Speaker 3: How many people are flying this much that I can't
- 23:28Speaker 3: even get to the top thirty on the upgrade list.
- 23:30Speaker 5: Let's here on that American nonsense, right, Yes, oh no,
- 23:36Speaker 5: you know airline.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yeah, the airline that read we don't want to give
- 23:43Speaker 1: them a freedom. But yeah, I don't have to worry
- 23:45Speaker 1: about that.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I'm not down.
- 23:48Speaker 5: We're always over here. Maybe really, am I gonna have
- 23:52Speaker 5: a shot.
- 23:53Speaker 2: It's not like I'm so.
- 23:53Speaker 3: I never even have to sweat it out the terminal
- 23:55Speaker 3: thinking like, man, I got a shot. Maybe I'll get
- 23:57Speaker 3: in this now.
- 23:58Speaker 2: You pay for Wi Fi too? Oh I pay for WiFi?
- 24:02Speaker 2: Oh my god? What are you doing?
- 24:04Speaker 5: What are we doing?
- 24:04Speaker 2: What's this guy?
- 24:09Speaker 3: You know what it is? You know what it is
- 24:11Speaker 3: with with with with airfare. It's like I'm the Jets.
- 24:14Speaker 3: I'm pot committed. I've already I've already got so much
- 24:17Speaker 3: with this airline that I can't switch.
- 24:19Speaker 2: You know, I'm already. I'm all.
- 24:20Speaker 3: I gotta pay for the Wi Fi. I gotta trade
- 24:22Speaker 3: for Devanta Adams. That's me paying for the Wi Fi
- 24:24Speaker 3: every week.
- 24:25Speaker 5: You're going all in. You're in desperation mode.
- 24:27Speaker 3: I'm too far down the road. All right, that's gonna
- 24:30Speaker 3: do it for us today. Thank you guys for hanging
- 24:32Speaker 3: with us. See you next time. Right here on movie
- 24:33Speaker 3: sticks
