Transcript
- 0:10Hello and welcome to Braddisgrapher's episode 35 As
- 0:18we look back at what has happened with the Catch Enigma
- 0:23series as we have had two shows but kind of cut in half.
- 0:30So we've had 4, but we are going to have a Freeman booth, so to
- 0:38speak, for the 1st 2 episodes that were on Patreon.
- 0:44And then show 3 and 4 is going to be with just me and Sam.
- 0:55I've kind of told you who's joining us on this episode
- 0:58really, but I'll still do the introductions.
- 1:02So First off, we have our on official official Co host in Mr
- 1:12Miles Smith. Good evening, Miles.
- 1:16Good evening. Yeah, I was going to think of a
- 1:19catch joke, but didn't. Didn't work.
- 1:24I'm I'm you've got plenty of time.
- 1:27What's the catch? Yeah, catch as catch can, and
- 1:32also making it almost two days in a row now we have from
- 1:40rambling about wrestling the better half of the duo, because
- 1:46I can say that because Jack just ignores DM messages.
- 1:52It doesn't. But I'm just saying that anyway,
- 1:54we have some. Good evening, Sam.
- 1:58Good evening. It's nice to be here.
- 2:00It's nice to catch up with you both.
- 2:03Hey. Females, that's how you do it.
- 2:06That's how you do it. Smoother than John's dancing to
- 2:10Lana Austin, which we will mention later on.
- 2:15So Catch Pro Wrestling have been doing a special residency at the
- 2:24Red Arches in Manchester City centre, which is kind of on the
- 2:31border of Cheatham Hill. And of course we've had the
- 2:37success of the Enigma series last year.
- 2:40So because they've got residency they have filmed two shows and
- 2:48made them into kind of like 2 separate shows which gives you 4
- 2:54with one show to come in a couple weeks time.
- 3:00So we will touch on the two groups and then I will explain
- 3:07the rules for those that do not know.
- 3:11So the Enigma series has two blocks A&B.
- 3:21I'm waiting to see if anyone actually does this.
- 3:24Block A, block B, block B. We haven't got to it yet.
- 3:31The rules, as Mark Adams told us, are they are 10 minute time
- 3:37limits. 10 minute time limit. You get 2 points for a win.
- 3:45Two points, 2 points. 2 points. 2 points.
- 3:49One for a time limit draw. Time limit draw one point.
- 3:56One nothing for a loss which he doesn't actually say, but if you
- 4:00are counted out or get disqualified you get -1.
- 4:06Minus. 1 - 1 - 1. So looking at the two blocks in
- 4:14block. AI can't do.
- 4:17It a bloke A bloke K? You've only got 1.
- 4:21You've only got 1 jobs guys. Come on, you've got Kevin Lloyd.
- 4:28Hey. Dec McCarthy, Henry Faust and
- 4:34Keenan Krishna Boo. And in Block B, Block B, Block
- 4:42B, Block B, Block B, you have Tony Wright, Danny Proper, Yeah.
- 4:53Nay J Yeah, And Adam Bolt Boo. So that is effectively the rules
- 5:03and who are in the separate blocks.
- 5:07However, before we started this year's Enigma series, we were
- 5:16joined by Eytenstein, who cut a promo ahead of his dog collar
- 5:24match with Ian Skinner at the end of It's Not This Month, is
- 5:31it? It's May.
- 5:32Yeah, next month. May 25th. 25th year.
- 5:36Bank Holiday Monday because I have so much going on that
- 5:39weekend. So Atenstein comes out says when
- 5:45he first came to Catch Pro he said there wasn't enough
- 5:49violence in the company which we then had the crowd chanting
- 5:54murder and violence. He asks where Skinner is and
- 6:00says he may have to wait till May to have his soul and also
- 6:06his blood. Then goes on to say that if he
- 6:11comes to the red arches that he will be painting the venue with
- 6:17Skinner's blood. Not a bad promo, it kind of did
- 6:23what it needed to do. Nothing fancy, just kind of set
- 6:29the scene. Mark Adams then gets in the
- 6:33ring, lays out the rules for the Iniquis series.
- 6:39Blame certain people for booing when we didn't.
- 6:44And then we went into the opening match of the Block A's,
- 6:49which was Kevin Lloyd against Declan McCarthy.
- 6:57So a few notes on this before we throw it open to Miles.
- 7:04Really good technical contest. Very hard hitting as you would
- 7:10expect with these two. Lloyd has deck in a bit of
- 7:15trouble as he applies an arm bar from nowhere.
- 7:20A Declan then hits hard, then whips Lloyd into the corner
- 7:26three times while still having control of the wrist.
- 7:34Sexy Kev then hits free. German Suplex tries to apply the
- 7:41arm bar again, but even though he does it, he can't lock the
- 7:45fingers to really kind of cinch it in.
- 7:49Kevin has deck in a kind of like an kind of like a hammerlock in
- 7:57a sense, but McCaffrey reverses it, froze Lloyd head first into
- 8:03the middle turnbuckle and from that point just grabs Lloyd into
- 8:09the centre of the ring and hits a massive powerbomb to record 2
- 8:17points for block A and come out the victor.
- 8:22Miles, what was your take on this before we go to Sam?
- 8:28My thoughts on this match was it was a very very physical
- 8:33encounter. Deck looking really strong in
- 8:37this match, Kev just equally as strong.
- 8:43Two absolute workhorses of Catch Pro Wrestling in the first match
- 8:50of the show for Kev was looking really stronger this match.
- 8:57The suplex sequence he did where he got the suplex Kev chant,
- 9:02that was great. Yeah, Kev was on fire.
- 9:06Dev Deck was hitting some nasty elbows and like lariats, he just
- 9:12looked on fire. Both guys looking like they were
- 9:16going to pick up the two points. Deck coming out with a whim with
- 9:20a absolute brutal powerbomb. It looked like it actually
- 9:24knocked, knocked the cab out. Yeah.
- 9:28And I think it moved. It looked like it moved the ring
- 9:31slightly as well. Yeah, because I was sat on the
- 9:34little sofas. Weird.
- 9:36Yeah, Watching it all clocked and personal.
- 9:39It just looked brutal. As you can see if a camera will
- 9:44show they that's you. Ignore.
- 9:49Ignore the shark onesie. Sam, what's your view of it?
- 10:01It was good. It's a good.
- 10:04Match. Nothing more that I can say that
- 10:07Miles hasn't already put. Yeah.
- 10:12Good Graps. That's that's the hard hitting
- 10:16journalism I love on Brad is Graps.
- 10:19It's why we it's why we don't pay the big bucks.
- 10:23So we went from that straight into the second block, a contest
- 10:30which featured Henry Faust against Keen and Krishna, both
- 10:36men using their wrestling skills early on or as Mark Adams kept
- 10:43calling it, tekkers. For the first kind of like
- 10:46couple minutes of this contest, Krishna constantly went back to
- 10:53working on the eyes of his opponent, hit a really solid
- 10:59shot in the corner. Faust moves on 1/3 splash that
- 11:07Keenan went to do. And as Henry fights back, the 2
- 11:11trade forearm strikes and just as they kind of slowed down,
- 11:18Keenan lights an absolute fire under Henry, under Henry, even
- 11:25as he slaps him across the face. And was a case of when you see
- 11:32someone that's so angry they stiffen up.
- 11:35That was effectively how Faust was.
- 11:40To which we see two clotheslines, a high angle
- 11:44suplex and then a phrase I am now using on the lines of the
- 11:52best thing to come out of hole since Dean Windus, which Alexis
- 11:57Falcon uses. I've gave a slight tweak.
- 12:02So for Henry Phelps I have got the best striker from Newcastle
- 12:08since Alan Shearer with his kicks, even though he then
- 12:14corrected me and said he's a West Ham fan and said well you
- 12:18can say Andy Carol if you want. So we're going Alan Shearer,
- 12:25he's in complete control at this point, Kicks Keenan in the
- 12:29chest, to which Faust is one of those people I would not want to
- 12:35be kicked by because they are solid as a rock.
- 12:40Krishna then hits a drop kick to the back of Faust's head.
- 12:47Henry reverses a move into a sleeper hold with Keenan
- 12:52resorting to biting the hand of Henry.
- 12:55Throws a couple of punches and then we see Faust turning the
- 13:01tide again. Signals for a buzz saw kick but
- 13:06Krishna pulls rescue in the way of it.
- 13:11A quick clothesline and Krishna wins the match with a Deaf
- 13:16Valley driver to see him picking up two points in the Enigma
- 13:22series. And as we come to the first
- 13:27round of these blockade matches, we have both Krishna and
- 13:34McCarthy on 2 points and Faust and Lloyd on 0 points.
- 13:45Sam, we will come to you for this match.
- 13:50Well, this match, I think it was just what I love about catch and
- 13:57like the type of matches that they put on it.
- 14:00Just they just take two people and like these two people, they
- 14:07can kick the crap out of each other pretty well.
- 14:11Let's have them in a match and they just let them just go at it
- 14:18all rough and tumble. And it's it's a breath of fresh
- 14:24air because up to this point in Catch for the past couple
- 14:27months, we haven't seen Keenan face many new opponents because
- 14:33since his heel turn, we've only had Tony Wright and Danny proper
- 14:39that he's faced, you know, he's never gone against the rest of
- 14:44the Catch roster. So him being in this tournament
- 14:48is a real breath of fresh air. And it just shows how good both
- 14:54of these men are that because, you know, they're in the middle
- 15:03of the way, in the middle of the car, they needed to keep
- 15:05people's attention. And they did really well because
- 15:09that was a real hard hitting match.
- 15:13I also liked the fact, I don't know if you brought this up,
- 15:17that I believe Teddy Ray was at ringside for Keenan.
- 15:25He turned up late in this contest.
- 15:29Yeah. So more like immoral support
- 15:31could say, but for for once, when you have kind of like a
- 15:40like a bad guy turning up at the ring, you expect shenanigans,
- 15:44but you didn't get that, which is again, refreshing to have
- 15:51because normally it results in kind of an interference.
- 15:54But again, with the rules as they are, if you are caught you
- 16:00lose a point. Yes, almost have to be on best
- 16:04behaviour on the outside. I think the story with this is
- 16:08that it that with Teddy coming out, it just put Faust head on
- 16:14that just a little bit of a swivel and it what led Keenan to
- 16:19be able to fully capitalise and get the victory here.
- 16:24So I think we'll more just mind games from Keenan because we
- 16:29have been seen that the past couple months he's been getting
- 16:33in the minds of his opponents and making them second guess
- 16:38themselves. So I do like how we're still
- 16:40carrying on, you know, his character and his progression
- 16:45even into this tournament. So yeah, that's my thoughts.
- 16:52Miles. Yeah like I say, Stan's pretty
- 16:57much summed it up. Great technical match, some
- 17:01absolute Peaches of some strikes in this match.
- 17:05The tips were on point. I honestly two very similar
- 17:10style wrestlers clashing. Very similar to the first match
- 17:14where it's like 2 very similar styles locking up in the ring.
- 17:21Enjoyed Teddy being on the outside sort of is support for
- 17:26Keenan even though not physically getting involved,
- 17:29sort of like is it a distraction to Henry because he's trying to
- 17:36focus on Keenan and Teddy at the same time.
- 17:40So it's sort of give Keenan the edge in the match.
- 17:43So it was like solid victory for Keenan to pick up two points on
- 17:49the the old Enigma series board. What I find interesting in Block
- 17:57A is if you actually look at it, you have three very technically
- 18:04sound wrestlers in McCarthy, Faust and Lloyd.
- 18:12The very kind of physical and very technical.
- 18:16You have Krishna who is not very technical.
- 18:22He's more, I suppose you'd say more kind of the the speedier of
- 18:29the four. And as we'll kind of come to
- 18:35looking at this block, you probably may not have put
- 18:40Krishna as leading or in the top 2 at this point in time.
- 18:49But what it has done, it has thrown up some interesting
- 18:53results so far, more of which we will touch on a bit later on
- 18:59when we come to the second round of matches.
- 19:06We then had our main event of show number one or episode #1 if
- 19:13you will. And this was for the Catch
- 19:16Women's Championship as Lily Winter defended her title
- 19:23against Melissa Fierce. And this I thought was a really
- 19:29good contest. So the notes as I have them,
- 19:35Melissa has Lily's head trapped between her legs having got out
- 19:41of it. With a very good technical move,
- 19:45A Winter fires back and hits a Gut Wrench Suplex on Fierce.
- 19:52Melissa then launches Lily into the corner and continues to have
- 19:57the upper hand. However, it sees the champion
- 20:01having to really fight tooth and nail in this contest as she hits
- 20:07a Sunset Foot to goes to hit a backslide, but Mel knocks her
- 20:14down and regains control in this contest.
- 20:20Winter fights back, hits kind of like a combination of moves, a
- 20:26double running knee in the corner, then goes for the cold
- 20:31shoulder, but Fierce manages to kind of wriggle out and hits a
- 20:37backstabber in the ropes, which was a really nice move I have to
- 20:44say. Lily hits Frostbite on Fias, but
- 20:48can only get a 2 count. Fias hits a suplex on Winter,
- 20:55which has both Lucy and Mark on commentary, quite proverbially
- 21:02shitting themselves because it was right by them.
- 21:07Lily rallies, but comes unstuck when Mel causes her opponent to
- 21:12drop down and effectively do the splits on the middle rope.
- 21:19Gets a face plant for her troubles.
- 21:21Can only get A2 counts. However, if Mel hadn't grabbed
- 21:29the ropes on the count of two, we could well be sat here now
- 21:34with a new women's champion. As it was ref Katie noticed her
- 21:41grabbing the ring rope and saw the count stop.
- 21:47We then have a crossbody followed by a cold shoulder by
- 21:53Lily Winter and she goes on to defend her Catch Women's title
- 22:01again. I really loved this was a really
- 22:05good main event. We will come to Miles because
- 22:12that's who I have down for you talking about it.
- 22:17Yes, so this was a very, very strong title defence for Lily.
- 22:22It's Melissa come in as the heel, which was nice to see the
- 22:27different side of Melissa. What I the story in this match
- 22:31was it was Melissa was very arrogant and she was showing off
- 22:37her inexperience to catch because it was pretty sure it
- 22:41was a debut in catch if I'm correct.
- 22:45You are, yes, kind. Of Melissa's debut in Catch.
- 22:50So she showboat into the fans. Very cocky, very arrogant.
- 22:56I loved how in the match she was just shouting towards like
- 23:00getting clips of the match. Have you got that?
- 23:03Have you got that? Did you get that?
- 23:06Yeah, her like showboat into the fans was effectively what cost
- 23:12her the match because she got into a bonehead like showboating
- 23:17and Lily just calm as you like, just dealt with her.
- 23:22I, I'll tell you what, the more I see Melissa, I think Fierce
- 23:30plays the role as the rule breaker so much better than kind
- 23:37of like being the the fan favourite.
- 23:40She does that equally as well. But I think she just kind of
- 23:46like goes up a few notches when she can just effectively break
- 23:50every rule possible and just being asked to the fans and
- 23:55everyone around her, which I would take a very good guess she
- 24:01enjoys doing the most because of everyone would love to be kind
- 24:06of like the heel. So I did enjoy that side of it,
- 24:14Sam, because I haven't asked you yet.
- 24:17Yeah, I think this was a really good match.
- 24:21You know, the first defence for Lilly Winter, if I'm not
- 24:29mistaken. And yeah, and I feel like, as
- 24:36you said, the list of his does suit the heel more.
- 24:40I think it's her intro. Why?
- 24:45Like, she really suits being a heel.
- 24:51Yeah, it's got the Joe Blazer quality to it where like, you
- 24:55know you're going to get booed anyways for using it, so you
- 24:59might as well be a heel. I mean there's the Blazer and
- 25:09the Mel AI ones. Even though I am a massive I
- 25:14hate AII do think it kind of some of the the lyrics are a bit
- 25:21cheesy. It has to.
- 25:24She's got, she's got grace. You're kicking your face.
- 25:27Yeah, Blazers is equally kind of cringy, but I think it does suit
- 25:41their characters when they're kind of playing the the rule
- 25:45breaker. So I will, I will let it pass,
- 25:50but I begrudgingly do so. We then came to our the
- 26:00technically main event, though it wasn't really a main event,
- 26:07to which we had the catch champion in Scott Oberman coming
- 26:12out to choose his first title defence.
- 26:19He comes out with his extra long entrance, then decides to do a
- 26:27full lap effectively of Cheatham Hill before returning to the
- 26:32venue, Asks the crowd should they do one more lap, to which
- 26:37everyone kind of starts chanting one more lap, One more lap.
- 26:44Even though I think we're all chanting to lock the door so he
- 26:47didn't come back in. I did find that quite funny.
- 26:53I thought it was quite a humorous bit.
- 26:57Eventually, though, Olbermann tells us that catch management
- 27:00have gave him the option, surprisingly, of choosing his
- 27:06first challenger. That's since he took the title
- 27:10of Scotty Rock. He informs us of all the
- 27:15accolades he has won in the past 12 months and then says he is,
- 27:22he wants the IT kind of scours the the massive crowd that was
- 27:29in on this particular night. And then we get the crowd
- 27:35chanting for certain people. So we have a massive chant for
- 27:41Jeebus, who kind of laughs it off and thinks, no, don't be
- 27:48stupid. Then there's a chant for Ant the
- 27:52editor, who is almost effectively attached at the hip
- 27:59with Scott considering. Scott's payday.
- 28:02Yeah, he's almost like he's PA, but in video form.
- 28:10Then it switched to Mark Adams and Mark very quickly got out
- 28:14ring Lucy Simon on commentary and as soon as the Lucy chant
- 28:23started she told everyone to fuck off.
- 28:28Then Pele got chanted and he gave a cheeky little wave to
- 28:35Scott and I've almost had Scott breaking character for a brief
- 28:39time. And then we had one or two
- 28:42people chant Solomon, which didn't particularly get as much
- 28:48traction as the others did, but eventually it had Scott picking
- 28:54out a skinny dude that was in the crowd.
- 28:59Skinny dude. Skinny dude.
- 29:01Yeah, told him to who he was and he introduced himself as Riley
- 29:07Miles. Scott goes on to kind of talk to
- 29:12him a bit more. Says make a name for yourself.
- 29:17Miles then pushes Scott, Scott pushes ref Katie and as the bell
- 29:24sounds he kicks Miles square in the balls, kneels on chest of
- 29:30his now fallen opponent and gets the 123 in probably about 6
- 29:39seconds. And that effectively ended show
- 29:44#1 it's what did we think of the segment.
- 29:54I thought it was quite a clever segment to be fair, pull in this
- 29:59unknown face because we all thought it was just a fun.
- 30:02We didn't realise he was actually a wrestler, but looking
- 30:09that his career, he works for the House of Pain in Nottingham.
- 30:15So yeah, this guy is like sort of fresh.
- 30:18I don't know how long he's been wrestling for.
- 30:20I think he's only been wrestling a couple of years.
- 30:23OK Yeah, he's only been wrestling for two years.
- 30:27So this kids like very fresh to the scene.
- 30:30So getting to see him get in the ring with Scott, even though
- 30:34it's like 6 seconds, it was quite a nice touch.
- 30:38It was nice to see. Yeah, it was a quick title
- 30:42match, but it was cool to see somebody stepping up to take on
- 30:46Scott. Somebody brave enough to take
- 30:49Scott on got kicked in the balls for his defence, but good on the
- 30:57kid. Hopefully we see it again.
- 31:01Sam. Yeah, You know, I feel like each
- 31:09day Scott is leaning more into the comedy heel aspects because,
- 31:17like, he used to be all serious, but now he's he's just a goofy
- 31:23lad in it. I always like seeing him smile.
- 31:27It's like seeing a cat and dog get along or like seeing, I
- 31:35don't know, something that isn't supposed to happen.
- 31:41Like, you know, it's just like, you know, a sight to be old.
- 31:47So I like when he's a little goofy.
- 31:51So I love the entrance. And then then sure, we didn't
- 31:56get much of A match, but I think with how long that first night
- 32:02went, maybe it's good that we got a small match because it
- 32:07tied everyone out by the end of it.
- 32:11Well there is a good kind of reason which we will come to why
- 32:18it was so long as we enter Episode 2 and has Mark Adams
- 32:27welcoming us to the Red arches in Manchester.
- 32:32And yet again as he goes to tell us the rules of the series, we
- 32:39see another interruption. This time coming from the Super
- 32:45athletes in Troy Ryan as he informs everyone that the
- 32:51rankings are out for the catch title and there are two names at
- 32:58the top of it. One being him and the other
- 33:03being Brady Phillips. To which the last cat show saw
- 33:12Phillips and Ryan going at it and had Phillips coming out on
- 33:18top after low blowing Troy Ryan to take victory on that
- 33:23occasion. So this is Troy Ryan calling out
- 33:28Brady Phillips. Phillips comes out, but not
- 33:34alone as we see Riley Nova making his debut at Catch Brady.
- 33:43Then Brady then starts to go mad at Troy Ryan, who Ryan had
- 33:52called Phillips a cheater having won at the last show.
- 33:59However, we have Brady telling Ryan, if we want to talk about
- 34:06cheaters, why don't we go in the back and prove it by pissing in
- 34:11a cup, trying to claim that Troy's on the juice.
- 34:18And that's why he's kind of so big.
- 34:21And he's used this kind of insult at him a couple of Times
- 34:25Now, to which Ryan pretty much just laughs off.
- 34:31Miles, You you want to make a point?
- 34:34I'll just pull you back to you said it was Riley's debut.
- 34:38He debuted A hostile against Tony Wright, Hostile Part 2.
- 34:43I wasn't there, so for me it's a debut.
- 34:47So it's a debut for you? It's his second appearance.
- 34:50That's all that matters. So we then have Phillips and
- 34:59Nova then attacking Troy Ryan. Having said that, Ryan has no
- 35:04friends at all now, so they start to beat him down on A2 on
- 35:09one. That is till we get the police
- 35:13sirens going off. Not because it's in Cheetham
- 35:17Hill, but because we get the jacked daddy in the man Shreddy,
- 35:26who's been to Japan, if you don't know.
- 35:29He appears and sees him and Troy taking out Philips and Nova.
- 35:39The crowd start chanting Shredded Meat, to which Shreddy
- 35:44instantly jumps on and says who here wants to see Shredded Meat
- 35:50tonight? And the entire crowd go, yeah,
- 35:56then says he wants A tag match with both Nova and Philips.
- 36:01They accept A tag match, but said we'll do it later on
- 36:06tonight. So your main event for this
- 36:11particular episode is set in stone with Troy, Ryan and
- 36:17Shreddy taking on the team of Brady Phillips and Riley Novo.
- 36:26What was our take on this segment?
- 36:30I thought it was a quite a clever segment, to be fair.
- 36:35Sort of like having the two guys that sort of at the top of catch
- 36:39at the minute with Brady and Troy.
- 36:42Troy calling out Brady, Brady not coming along because he sort
- 36:48of face Troy at the minute because Brady is Troy's number
- 36:53one target in catch. Troy wants to take Brady out, so
- 36:59to see him them to beat up Troy and then Shreddy comes out for
- 37:05the save, which, yeah, it's cool.
- 37:08Cool to see Shreddy in a catch. Pro wrestling.
- 37:12Always, always love seeing the jacks.
- 37:13That daddy. I mean I am a massive shred head
- 37:19and having heard the his music when we were stood outside it
- 37:25never came into my mind that he was actually there.
- 37:29I. I said it's Shreddy here, but
- 37:32like, I don't know why. Why?
- 37:38It just slipped my mind that it was Shreddy's music and I didn't
- 37:42realise he was actually going to be there.
- 37:44I was like, yeah, even though I knew it was Shreddy, sort of, it
- 37:51still caught me off guard. You know what, it made me think
- 37:55of the the music when we was at the Union and we kind of like
- 38:01sat in the the Union canteen thing and we were listening to
- 38:05all the music when they were doing the the debuts on like
- 38:10Show 2 at Future Shop. And we were trying to, we were
- 38:13trying to tell or trying to guess if we knew who the music
- 38:17belonged to. That's kind of how it felt.
- 38:21Yeah, but we actually knew who the music was, but we just never
- 38:27put two and two together. But yes, I just say Phillips is
- 38:34a bit of a shit house because he does not want to face Charlie
- 38:37Ryan. So we then moved to our Block B
- 38:45matches. Block B.
- 38:47Block B. Block B.
- 38:49See someone's on the ball here as we started with Tony Wright
- 38:55going up against his good friend in Danny Proper.
- 39:01Before the match got underway, we were joined by members of
- 39:07Northwest Strong in Keenan Krishna and Teddy Ray because
- 39:13these four men have a bit of a history dating back to the final
- 39:22cat show at the Breadshed which saw Danny Proper saving Tony
- 39:28Wright. Though in fairness, looking back
- 39:32now it was Ridgeway, not Ray, but they've all intertwined in
- 39:36the last couple of shows it's fair to say.
- 39:41However, Tony then makes a joke claiming that Ray and Keenan are
- 39:47just team new versions of both him and Danny Proper, Which I
- 39:52did kind of get a little kick out of that.
- 39:56The match itself and the notes I have basically go as follows.
- 40:05Feet a very long feeling out period because they both know
- 40:11each other's move moves. Even the crowd were very split
- 40:17on this. Some were chanting for.
- 40:22Proper and then they would switch to rights a lot didn't
- 40:27confirmly kind of like attach their allegiances to one person,
- 40:36which made it an interesting match amongst the fans at least.
- 40:42Right reverses a I've got a snow plough, but I can't remember
- 40:46exactly what Proper was trying to do.
- 40:49He kind of had him up in a an awkward position but that gets
- 40:55reversed proper then dumped Tony over the top rope and sees the
- 41:03leading man catching his lower back on the ring apron.
- 41:09Danny then goes to the outside checking on his mate.
- 41:13Being a bit concerned, Ref Katie sends him back in and then once
- 41:20Tony gets back into the square circle, it sees proper whipping
- 41:25him into the ring. Sorry Into the Corner adopts a
- 41:32Boston Crab and then hits a Fisherman Suplex To add to the
- 41:37pain that is already Tony's back.
- 41:41Right then hits a springing clothesline off the ropes with a
- 41:48Super Kick and the two trade Stiff Forearm shots.
- 41:54The two then go back and forth with numerous reversing in
- 42:01attempts. However, Proper will get the
- 42:05drop as he hits a Jackknife pin on Tony to win the match and
- 42:11sees Danny collecting the first of the Block B points.
- 42:20Who was on the last one. We'll go, Sam.
- 42:26All right, see, I really liked this match because it felt like
- 42:35the bridge between the catch main timeline, as you call it,
- 42:43you know, with their main shows and this Enigma series because
- 42:49it directly connects to probably I'd say their biggest story
- 42:53going on, which is Northwest Strong versus Tony and Danny and
- 43:03I. What I liked is that we've just
- 43:08standing there because I don't think they got involved at any
- 43:12point. Just standing there.
- 43:15Teddy and Keenan were able to get so much heat on them by just
- 43:20their faces and reacting. I remember one point, I can't
- 43:26remember what the chant was, but I knew it was at Keenan and what
- 43:31you're watching. Yeah.
- 43:33And then I just see Teddy, just look at him and being like, is
- 43:38that about you? Just.
- 43:42And then just smug as all hell when Tony does his back in on
- 43:48the floor. So and it's they were very good
- 43:55character work from all four men in this match.
- 43:58And it I really liked how they managed to still have the heel
- 44:05and face dynamic, even though it was a match between two faces by
- 44:08having them out, because that was something that I feared
- 44:14looking at the at block B, because block A it's an even
- 44:20distribution. So you know, most weeks you will
- 44:26have both matches be a face and heel.
- 44:30But then obviously in this one, you're only going to have one
- 44:33face and heel match a week. The the other Two's going to be
- 44:36faces facing each other, but this match luckily stood the
- 44:41landing and was a great opening contest.
- 44:46I will say though, with Keenan being the Watcher, he did do a
- 44:51lot of watching. So he kind of played to, to that
- 44:56role. At least I, I, I do find that a
- 45:02bit of a strange kind of gimmick.
- 45:05The the watcher. It's I what what exactly?
- 45:13Again, it's like the channel. What are you watching?
- 45:16Maybe he's got like a Patreon membership and he's just
- 45:19watching back all the old cat shows on demand.
- 45:23I mean this. I mean, we could ask him.
- 45:26But yeah, I don't think we'll get, I don't think we'll get a
- 45:29reply. Miles, what was your version of
- 45:34right and proper? Yeah, I thought it was
- 45:39technically sound. It was 2 good friends hashing it
- 45:42out in the ring like you said. Like Mark said, friends hate
- 45:47each other harder and my God, they were hitting each other
- 45:50hard and this much. They're in their close pals.
- 45:54Yeah, they would go in really hard on each other, really
- 46:00stiff. Like they were proper stiff in
- 46:02each other in as much. When Tony landed back first on
- 46:06the apron. Oh my God.
- 46:07I genuinely thought he was hurt like, and Danny's showing mercy,
- 46:13sort of like reluctant. Did not want to pin him that
- 46:18way. Yeah, it's.
- 46:20So. I think you could tell of, I
- 46:26think there was a bit of genuine concern that he might have
- 46:29actually done something, but I think that was just a very good
- 46:36like selling job really by by Tony.
- 46:39Again, he may have actually like tweaked something, but it did
- 46:46make it an interesting dynamic then.
- 46:49What did in Jordan this match jumped the gun there.
- 46:53I'll just say this match shown how good of a wrestler Danny
- 47:00proper actually is. A lot of people see Danny as
- 47:03like a comedy guy, like just he's in there for a laugh.
- 47:07But the types of potency he was going for, like the one sequence
- 47:14that I remember from that match was like, you know what?
- 47:16He floated over the top rope over Tony and flipped him onto
- 47:21his back. That was really, really, really
- 47:24good done proving to himself that he is catch style
- 47:30wrestling. He is Catchers fan.
- 47:33He is a really, really good wrestler and I don't think a lot
- 47:38of people actually see that size of proper.
- 47:42We watching this can see he's a good wrestler.
- 47:49Almost feels like if Proper had like a wrestling home, you would
- 47:56probably say Catch because he seems to fit in more with Catch
- 48:03I feel and any other promotion is he's done because he's
- 48:10showing off his kind of like comedic stuff like he did at the
- 48:16Breadshed. But also we've seen him being
- 48:19serious when he took on Scotty Rock and had the Grimsby rules.
- 48:25Yeah, the Grimsby rules much? Yeah.
- 48:27So I think what he does at Catch is just show that, listen, I I
- 48:33can be like the goofy son of a gun.
- 48:37However, if needs be, I can actually wrestle and I can do
- 48:44like very kind of like violent wrestling as well.
- 48:51Just very quickly though, talking about both hitting each
- 48:56other as hard as possible. Lucy actually mentions this on
- 49:01the commentary on Patreon where she says when you're friends
- 49:06with someone you always hit your mate harder.
- 49:09And I think that's a very accurate description of what you
- 49:16of what you said about it, because they just basically beat
- 49:19the hell out of each other really.
- 49:23But yes, you want to make a point.
- 49:25What I do enjoy about Danny's character work, it's very
- 49:30unbalanced. Like some weeks he's really
- 49:33goofy. He's just there for a mess
- 49:35around. And then against Tony, he fully
- 49:39locked into that match. He was fully focused.
- 49:43He wanted them two points and he got two points because he he
- 49:48wasn't mucking around. He wasn't play into the fans,
- 49:52the fans just gravitate towards him because he's genuinely a
- 49:56sound guy. I think it's the case also of
- 50:00because it's the Enigma Series and how this one's different to
- 50:06past ones. If you're in this tournament,
- 50:09you have to have your head on your serious head on more.
- 50:15If it was just like a normal match, it's it's a bit of a
- 50:20throw away. But with this tournament, you
- 50:22can't really have like a day off at goofy.
- 50:27So I think what we're getting in these Enigma series matches is
- 50:35everyone involved these deadly series and it's making the
- 50:42matches even more compelling to watch as well.
- 50:48But yeah, it it was a really good match.
- 50:53And then we came to the penultimate match on Episode 2,
- 51:02and that was our final Block B Con contest.
- 51:06Block B. Block B.
- 51:08Block B. I'm glad you did it.
- 51:10Nay J versus Adam Vault, the crowd being fully behind Nay J
- 51:17in this one Bolt with some great character work, effectively just
- 51:26running the crowd down and being an ass, which he plays
- 51:32perfectly. So the two do the whole one runs
- 51:41into the corner, the other follows and then you kind of
- 51:46leap backwards over their opponent who's gone too far
- 51:51running in both of them mess up on this one to.
- 51:58It's the first time I think it's Bolt does it where he runs into
- 52:02the corner, tries to go back. Naj stops thinking I'm I'm too
- 52:08smart for you to do this kind of like 3 times and then smacks him
- 52:14and then Naj himself tries the same thing and Bolt goes I know
- 52:21what you're thinking and then smacks him back.
- 52:25We then seen AJ doing a standing calf kick, a tiger fan arm drag,
- 52:32a gorgeous move which we've now seen a couple of times from Bolt
- 52:37where he jumps over the top rope and then jumps back and hits a
- 52:43code breaker and it's an absolutely sweet move.
- 52:51He then stomps Naje. Naje gets some offence in but
- 52:57Adam hits a super kick followed by a standing moonsault, having
- 53:04sidestepped a missed drop kick from Naje.
- 53:09Natchez then pushes Bolt, who does a flip off the top rope,
- 53:15lands almost like a superhero landing in a sense, and AJ then
- 53:23hits a shotgun drop kick with results soon afterward, Bolt
- 53:29hitting a cutter off the top row to win the match and picks up
- 53:34the two points on offer. And as we come to the end of the
- 53:42opening round of Block B matches, we have Danny Proper
- 53:48and Adam Bolt on two points each, with Nay J and Tony Wright
- 53:55on 0. Anyone want to come in on this
- 54:03one? Anyone.
- 54:07I'll jump the. 1. Go on.
- 54:11Go on, I'll do two in a row. I'll jump the gun.
- 54:15So yeah, this was both the debuts in Catch, which was cool
- 54:20to see. Two debuts in one match.
- 54:23Originally a few people were cheering for Adam at the start.
- 54:29That went instantly. To be fair.
- 54:35To be fair though, I've watched it back and no one cheered for
- 54:38Adam at the start until about halfway through the match.
- 54:44Yeah, it was. It was weird because I knew we
- 54:48all know Adam Bolt, we all know he's going to be a heel, but a
- 54:52few people genuinely thought he was going to be face and it's
- 54:54like Adam Bolt, this guy screams natural heel.
- 55:04I love Adam, his character work is brilliant.
- 55:08So he comes to the ring running down the people of Manchester
- 55:11saying you all stink. I can't remember what he calls
- 55:15us. He just calls us like an app.
- 55:19He just says we all stink and you look like you stink.
- 55:22So my chant that I did to work in Outlook, it got Mark Adam on
- 55:30commentary. Shitty Adam.
- 55:33And then we I think effectively we then have the entire room
- 55:37chanting shitty Adam. And Mark on commentary goes,
- 55:41that's one way of putting it. Yeah, Sam, your take on this?
- 55:50I think it was a really fun contest, you know, with the
- 56:00block a block a block A being all, you know, big beefy men
- 56:08slapping beef and Keenan. We kind of didn't get many, you
- 56:16know, like fast, high octane offence.
- 56:20They want they slowed it down and strong strikes.
- 56:24But this one we it felt like a rabbit drinking Red Bull who
- 56:32also has a shotgun because it would just 100 to 100 from
- 56:37beginning to end almost. And it was definitely the right
- 56:44choice to put this in the middle because it woke everyone, you
- 56:49know, right up, you know, got everyone ready for, you know,
- 56:54the main event. And as much as I hate seeing
- 56:59Adam Ball picking up the points, you know, it's he he didn't
- 57:04cheat. I don't think he won this fair
- 57:07and square. He it it was actually a clean
- 57:12win. Yeah, which was a shock.
- 57:15Yeah. Does he, Adam Ball actually pick
- 57:17up a clean win? Which I think in these matches
- 57:21you almost have to be very clean to to pick up.
- 57:25Yeah, you have to be. If you're trying to pick up a
- 57:28dirt, you win. Unless you're crushed and you
- 57:30kind of just gouge the eyes most of the time and then get an
- 57:34actual clean win. But yes, that was your block B
- 57:41matches for the opening 2 episodes.
- 57:48And we ended episode 2 with a hell of A tag match that went on
- 57:55quite a while to which I thought it was going to finish a good 10
- 58:01minutes earlier. But we we carried on.
- 58:06So it was Riley Nova, Brady Phillips taking on shredded meat
- 58:13in Troy, Ryan and Shreddy. Oh Lord.
- 58:19I have a fair few notes for this.
- 58:22So we have a lot of fan interaction before we even see a
- 58:28punch thrown in this contest. Lucy.
- 58:33Lucy makes a hell of a comment during the the opening exchanges
- 58:40of this where she says more meat than a butcher's and not
- 58:46suitable for vegans, to which Mark replies beefy, which I did.
- 58:55Enjoy that the fans chant Brady's bitch to Riley.
- 59:02The fans are just on Riley's case pretty much the entire time
- 59:06really with chance of you can't Wrestle, which Mark Adams takes
- 59:12umbrage with and says well he's a really good wrestler.
- 59:16So I don't particularly agree with with that statement.
- 59:22We then see Ryan Riley putting Shreddy in a full Nelson and the
- 59:30Jacks that Daddy powers out of it with absolute ease like a hot
- 59:36knife through butter. He broke out of that.
- 59:39Shreddy then has Nova and he kind of collide with each other
- 59:47and then he tells him come on come on, try and knock me off.
- 59:51And we see Nova using his speed, bounces off every row, so he
- 59:58bounces off one side and Shreddy goes come on, so he tries
- 1:00:03another side. Does the same and when we get to
- 1:00:07like the 3rd or the 4th time Shred is on down on one knee
- 1:00:12looking knackered and then effectively just powers just
- 1:00:18hits a power move on him but the man from Newcastle is just far
- 1:00:24too henched to be knocked off his feet.
- 1:00:29Brady then comes running in and the exact same finger curse.
- 1:00:35Shreddy tells him come on have a have a run try and knock me off
- 1:00:39my feet. However, on this occasion Brady
- 1:00:43hits a running boot and knocks Shreddy down to the mat.
- 1:00:52We then have Troy coming into the ring.
- 1:00:55Nova kind of evades him, goes to the outside, poses and taunts
- 1:01:04towards the crowd. Shreddy Watts right up behind
- 1:01:08him, picks him up and throws him back into the ring.
- 1:01:14We then have Brady and Nova kind of grasping hands like the
- 1:01:20Predator theme. Also the Predator meme should
- 1:01:23say. To which we then get Troy and
- 1:01:27Shreddy redoing that spot moments later as they go a
- 1:01:33double elbow on Nova and I think they were meant to do some
- 1:01:40simultaneous press UPS at the side of Nova, but there was a
- 1:01:46bit of a miscommunication and looked slightly off.
- 1:01:52Back to the contest. Shreddy gets isolated as Brady
- 1:01:57Phillips. We see a bit of a
- 1:01:59miscommunication as Brady ends up in a tree of woe.
- 1:02:05Nova is then tripped up and gets pulled towards the ring post,
- 1:02:13but obviously Brady's head is in the way.
- 1:02:16You can probably guess where this is going, so Shreddy pulls
- 1:02:22Nova's legs towards Brady's face.
- 1:02:27Phillips then falls out of the tree on wall on top of Nova and
- 1:02:36the two roll around on top of each other.
- 1:02:42Let's just say a 69. Let's just call it that because
- 1:02:47that's pretty much what it was. The two of them have like a mini
- 1:02:52tiff. Troy then gets taken out by
- 1:02:55Phillips behind the ref's back as he sent into the ring post.
- 1:03:03There we have so many spots. Brady and Nova combined for a
- 1:03:07super kick and a lariat on Troy Ryan 2.
- 1:03:13Ryan then avoids A suplex from his opponents as he suplexes
- 1:03:22both Nova and Phillips as he hits a suplex of his own.
- 1:03:29Shreddy comes in hot tag, splashes both men and then hits
- 1:03:36AI. Can't think what the move.
- 1:03:37I've got a Vader move where he basically jumps on bottom rope,
- 1:03:41the middle rope and kind of splashes down on you.
- 1:03:47The fight goes to the outside. Troy flies like an eagle through
- 1:03:53the ring ropes, grabs Brady and and moments later we see him
- 1:03:59making a massive hole in the red in the red arches as he launches
- 1:04:05Brady into the wall and makes a massive hole in it.
- 1:04:12We then have Ryan is an absolute monster dominating this match
- 1:04:18and looks on course to win. Nova takes a run at him but gets
- 1:04:23his leg caught in the ring ropes.
- 1:04:27But while Refs due is trying to help Nova get free, Adam Bolt
- 1:04:32appears from nowhere, hits a springboard cutter on Troy Ryan.
- 1:04:38Brady Phillips then hits the Phillips screwdriver to pick up
- 1:04:43the win. And after the match sees my mate
- 1:04:47John, or our friend John I should say, arguing with all
- 1:04:51three. And that is effectively how the
- 1:04:54episode ends. Sam, as we haven't come to you
- 1:05:01for the start of any match, I think on this particular
- 1:05:05episode, what was your view on this?
- 1:05:10So this match was a bit of fun. I forgot that I had seen Riley
- 1:05:24before. I forgot I watched Tim face Tony
- 1:05:28Wright at the second part of the hostile tournament this past
- 1:05:36year. Gone.
- 1:05:37So for the whole match I just thought he was known as Brady's
- 1:05:46B word B as the crowd was putting it.
- 1:05:53I do like the fact how for the whole time the sort of played
- 1:06:01off the crowd really well and it almost felt like the crowd was
- 1:06:07dictating some of the spots that they do or like some of the
- 1:06:11stuff going on. I don't.
- 1:06:15I haven't watched back the episode so I don't know if they
- 1:06:19caught it, but before the match even begins, Brady Phillips does
- 1:06:24flip me off. I imagine he flipped everyone
- 1:06:28off in that building. To be fair, though, it did
- 1:06:33capture him going up to me, Dean and John up in the kind of the
- 1:06:39little gamma tree kind of thing. Yeah, because the rivalry with
- 1:06:47John and Brady is one that really does warm the cockles of
- 1:06:53my heart. Whenever I see Brady on a card,
- 1:06:57Johnny's there. I always love their interactions
- 1:07:01because it is always hilarious. Miles.
- 1:07:07Yeah, Brady give me some shit as well.
- 1:07:10So is it all well done? You can swear your fore eyes
- 1:07:13prick of like well done. You've had a drink.
- 1:07:17I've not even had a drink, Brady.
- 1:07:19Yes, I I remember that. Yeah, I was like, Brady, I've
- 1:07:23not even had a drink. Like calling you names because
- 1:07:29you're Brady Phillips and you are an ass.
- 1:07:35Pretty much I I really enjoyed this match.
- 1:07:41It was a whole lot of fun. It did a fair bit to kind of
- 1:07:47push the storyline as well because now that makes it two
- 1:07:52wins for Brady Phillips over Troy Ryan, both of which have
- 1:08:00been contentious defeats along with a low blow one with Adam
- 1:08:08Bolt getting involved. So it's going to be interesting
- 1:08:15where all this effectively leads.
- 1:08:20Especially with Adam Bolt, you know, being in the tournament,
- 1:08:25you know, it's interesting to see how that factors in.
- 1:08:29So yeah, I'm, I'm really looking forward to what's next for the
- 1:08:34Brady Bunch. Oh God, no, don't.
- 1:08:38Please don't suggest that as an idea.
- 1:08:40Please, Miles. Yes, and now it creates like a
- 1:08:46little mini faction with Brady, Riley and Bolt.
- 1:08:52So it's like the free. They're all from Yorkshire,
- 1:08:56right, Aren't they? No Brady's tethering Novus from
- 1:09:03Nottingham. And bolts from Doncaster.
- 1:09:08Doncaster, so they're not all from Yorkshire.
- 1:09:11No. Brady Bunch.
- 1:09:14Brady Bunch. No, please don't actually.
- 1:09:19Yeah, I was going to say Kettering, but I'm, I think
- 1:09:23they've said Northampton before for I'm pretty sure it's
- 1:09:26Kettering. OK, he comes out as Kettering,
- 1:09:29but I think. I think we have said Northampton
- 1:09:32in the past, yeah. So we'll say they're all from
- 1:09:35Yorkshire. No.
- 1:09:39We can't even say. No, because Northampton is a
- 1:09:43county, no. So.
- 1:09:46It's not, it's not Yorkshire, it's it's effectively like
- 1:09:51saying Liverpool is in Birmingham or the West Midlands.
- 1:09:56Right. So the three guys, and they're
- 1:09:58not all from Yorkshire, the three guys that work in
- 1:10:01Yorkshire for House of Paint, there you go.
- 1:10:04The option name is just the three guys.
- 1:10:08Or another way to put it, which can alienate more things is like
- 1:10:11saying the Wirral is in Liverpool.
- 1:10:14All right, OK. And that's how you win, and
- 1:10:19that's how you win friends and actually arguments.
- 1:10:26So what was our take on the two episodes that we have?
- 1:10:35Because you're probably going to be the best one on these miles
- 1:10:38because you didn't attend the last one.
- 1:10:40Overall, I thought going into it, I thought it was a bit of a
- 1:10:44weird way of like recording the show.
- 1:10:48I thought the venue going into it, I said oh, this venue looks
- 1:10:53crap. I'm not looking forward to this.
- 1:10:56But as you sat down on to the sofa and like basically got
- 1:10:59involved with a show and like you were a part of the show,
- 1:11:03being SAT up close and personal, like the interactions with the
- 1:11:08talent made the show a bit more personal and more enjoyable to
- 1:11:15sit and watch for two hours, 2 1/2 hours, it was different.
- 1:11:24It was one of those things. Of when they announced the
- 1:11:26venue. I think a few of us worried
- 1:11:30because we've seen photos, we thought this could be a bit of a
- 1:11:36mess, and then where we actually turned up and saw the layout, we
- 1:11:43still kind of had that thought process in our minds.
- 1:11:48But I think once the show got under way, all the thoughts we
- 1:11:52had completely disappeared and it seemed to be a case of the
- 1:11:58venue. Itself worked, really.
- 1:12:00Well, I think if the move. Forward with.
- 1:12:07Doing like Enigma series tournaments here in future I can
- 1:12:15see that being an option. If they can get.
- 1:12:18Residency again, but I think the main reason they chose here was
- 1:12:24because he couldn't get the dates for Gorilla and then they
- 1:12:28got offered residency so it's kind of making the A slightly
- 1:12:38bad. Scenario.
- 1:12:39Better, but I think this well it's a smaller room and it holds
- 1:12:46about 50 people roughly It does feel like it's.
- 1:12:54The right size for. For catch, in a sense, I think
- 1:12:59there was also. Told that we're going to have
- 1:13:00reinforced walls, they may now. I think try kind of.
- 1:13:08Made sure that the they look to do that but as we.
- 1:13:16Come to the end of this. Particular podcast episode
- 1:13:22because I think we are going to break this into two because you
- 1:13:27won't be here on the next episode, Miles, because we're
- 1:13:32taking you out out into the desert and just letting you fend
- 1:13:36for yourself. The two matches we have for
- 1:13:41Gimme Danger in May, one of which is the dog.
- 1:13:47Collar match. With Ian Skinner and Aidan
- 1:13:50Steen, what's what's been your your take on this?
- 1:13:57I'm lead up so far or the lead up towards it?
- 1:14:01It's it's building and building. With each week coming every show
- 1:14:06they're doing little segments and doing little bits to add on
- 1:14:08to the match. What's going to happen at
- 1:14:12Gorilla? The dog collar match so.
- 1:14:15I feel like things are going to just keep heating up, keep
- 1:14:18getting more violent between these two in when it gets to
- 1:14:22gorilla time. This my potential blood food.
- 1:14:29Yeah, because it's because I take it you have seen.
- 1:14:33The video clips. Of what?
- 1:14:35They've done. I've seen, yeah, I've seen the
- 1:14:37last episode. I've seen what Ian did.
- 1:14:39To him, to which we will. Expand upon on.
- 1:14:45The the next episode. Very slowly, yeah.
- 1:14:50Chatting with Nikki about it. And she finds it very
- 1:14:56interesting and they've worked it really well.
- 1:15:01So I'm because we went from this particular couple of episodes.
- 1:15:07Being. Just Steamy Boy was there.
- 1:15:11The next two episodes Ian was effectively the the person
- 1:15:20there, but we do get an appearance of staying on episode
- 1:15:244, which effectively well. Again, we'll we'll save.
- 1:15:32That for the next episode, we'll call it a teaser, but the other
- 1:15:38match that gets announced on the next episode or episode 4 at
- 1:15:45least, is the Catch Championship involving Scott Olbermann on
- 1:15:51Luke Jacobs. What what are your thoughts on
- 1:15:56this one? This is going to be a potential.
- 1:16:00Match of the year between these two.
- 1:16:02Two former Northwest Strong guys hashing it out.
- 1:16:07Liverpool versus Manchester Gorilla.
- 1:16:12This is going to be a money match between these two.
- 1:16:17Two of the best wrestlers currently in the UK and I'd even
- 1:16:22say currently in the world. I I regard these two as two of
- 1:16:27the finest talents around. So the fact that we're getting
- 1:16:32this catch catchweight title matching a gorilla, this is
- 1:16:38going to be a spectacle as as far as I know.
- 1:16:44Oberman has beat every member. Of.
- 1:16:48Northwest Strong on catch other than one person because I think
- 1:16:54he referenced it saying he's beat.
- 1:16:58He's gone through all the Northwest strong team.
- 1:17:03Technically there's one other person, but I will need to
- 1:17:10double check. I will.
- 1:17:13I will put. Who?
- 1:17:14I think. In the in the chat well, who
- 1:17:18he's not faced yes well. He says he's.
- 1:17:23Gone through them all he may have done.
- 1:17:28I'll just leave that there for you to He's beat Teddy.
- 1:17:33He's. Beat No, he beat Rio at atomic.
- 1:17:37But I think it's, I think it's on.
- 1:17:39Catch who he's beat. In Catch Who, he's beat because
- 1:17:44he's beat every single. Member of.
- 1:17:47North restaurant. Other than Jacobs, as far as I'm
- 1:17:51aware he's beat Ridgway multiple times.
- 1:17:56He's beat Teddy. Because I think he actually
- 1:17:59posted a tweet. About beat Keenan in that
- 1:18:03unsanctioned match that like likes out.
- 1:18:05Match because I think it's the I'm.
- 1:18:09Trying to see if I can. Find the the actual post he put
- 1:18:13on I don't as he faced looking at I don't.
- 1:18:17Think he has because I'm positive.
- 1:18:21Oh, there we go. So he has, Oh no, I tell a lie.
- 1:18:26I've found the tweet. So he's put Ethan Allen.
- 1:18:29Tick Joe Kessler, tick Rio, tick Keenan Krishna, tick Chris
- 1:18:39Ridgeway, Tick Teddy Ray Brackets loads too.
- 1:18:45Ha ha ha ha. Take Luke Jacobs, Red Cross, the
- 1:18:52last one to be to prove I'm northwest strongest so.
- 1:18:59And the fact that he. Actually references that since
- 1:19:05catch return he has not suffered a defeat yet.
- 1:19:12So we're either going to get Olbermann becoming Thanos
- 1:19:19collecting all the northwest strong kind of were they?
- 1:19:28Were they crystals? Stones.
- 1:19:32Stones, that's the word. I haven't watched it.
- 1:19:34For a while. Or we're going to get Olbermann
- 1:19:39lose. So it's going to be an
- 1:19:43interesting one, I think it's fair to say, but we.
- 1:19:50Shall leave it. There at this point in time, so
- 1:19:56for now at least, we will let Mr Miles Smith head off again.
- 1:20:06I say this every single time. Would you like to plug anything?
- 1:20:14No. A toaster perhaps, or.
- 1:20:19ATVI plug a toast, there you go. Use a toast.
- 1:20:29Brown bread. Brown bread, Dad.
- 1:20:34Anyway. That is it for episode 35.
- 1:20:41A, as I will call it, because we have two more episodes, A, A, A,
- 1:20:47a, A. You know what?
- 1:20:50I've I didn't actually think of that.
- 1:20:52And now it's actually genius that I've bought of A&B.
- 1:20:57I'm going to say it's a moment of genius, but it's pure fluke.
- 1:21:03But yes, thank you to Miles and hoefully you catch us on 35B.
