  Guys, we sat there, we watched the game.

  Thoughts. If anything surprise you,

  anything not surprise you? What did?

  What did you think? Pete will start with you.

  Yeah, I mean, for once, I guess in the playoffs, I mean, it was,
• 1:44
  it was tough. We talked about how tough it was
• 1:46
  to bet these games in the playoffs just 'cause you just
• 1:49
  didn't. And, and really through the bowl
• 1:50
  games, the playoffs are maybe a little easier than the bowl
• 1:52
  games, but the bowl games are tough.
• 1:54
  At least it was this one kind of played out the way I thought it
• 1:56
  would. You know, we said right out of
• 1:58
  the gate that that point spread was a bit long, it was a bit
• 2:01
  high, so it played into that. So, you know, the the game
• 2:05
  played pretty much how I thought it would.

  I mean, it was evenly matched through most of it.

  You know, Miami's offense controlled tempo for for a long
• 2:13
  time. You know, defenses kept
• 2:16
  everything pretty much in check, right?
• 2:18
  There wasn't a lot of big plays or anything like that going on.

  It was a controlled kind of offense game.

  I thought Carson Beck played pretty well for most of the
• 2:28
  game, right? He was poised in control for
• 2:29
  most of the game. You know, forget the end for a
• 2:32
  second, but you know, you're pressing at the end.
• 2:34
  But I, you know, I thought both quarterbacks, obviously Mendoza
• 2:37
  was excellent. So, you know, they played well.
• 2:41
  I thought, you know, Indiana's defense was solid.
• 2:44
  Turnovers were minimized all the way through for the most part.
• 2:48
  second-half was pretty much on script.
• 2:49
  What I thought would would be. I mean, it was very much what I
• 2:53
  expected. It was a good game.
• 2:56
  It was a close game, which I thought it would be.
• 2:59
  And I think the better team won. And we said that Indiana was
• 3:02
  likely the better team. I think the better team won.
• 3:04
  So it'd be hard to look back at this and say that you know, what
• 3:07
  happened, Is it what should have happened, right?
• 3:09
  The better team won the game. It was a good game.
• 3:12
  It was fun to watch. So at the end, I mean,
• 3:15
  everything played out. But you know, all this argument
• 3:17
  about who should be in the playoffs and who shouldn't have
• 3:19
  been, You could have had two teams in the playoffs and the
• 3:21
  same team would have won. So at least this time it worked
• 3:25
  out where the number one team was going to win anyway.

  They were the better team and that was the end of it.
• 3:29
  So still, it was good, worked out at least for once in terms
• 3:32
  of our betting and it was a fun game to watch.

  So those are those are my thoughts.

  All right, Tim, I know you're going to be completely objective

  here because I mean, you don't hate Miami in the least, but you
• 3:43
  know, if you could at least try and be objective for a few
• 3:46
  seconds before you you go off on you not being all the way back,

  what'd you think of the game? Well, on a defensive side of the
• 3:55
  wall, it was obviously a great effort by Indiana all the way
• 4:00
  around. You got Mikhail Kamara, Keelan
• 4:01
  Wyatt up front, did a really good job in the trenches with
• 4:06
  Aiden Fisher, Hardy, Isaiah Jones at linebacker, they did a
• 4:09
  great job. DeAngelo Pons on an island out
• 4:12
  there, Jamari Sharp, the big interception, you know, Mari
• 4:16
  Farrell and Lewis Moore did a great job at safety as well.
• 4:20
  Devon Boykin was also all over the place, so let's not forget
• 4:23
  Mario Linder and what's his name, Hosa Wheeler, So.

  What are the jersey numbers? I'm confused about the jersey

  numbers. I don't even know what you're

  talking. Look at the look at the

  offensive side of the ball. I mean Roman Hemby and Kelon
• 4:36
  Black, they did a great job. Elijah Serra, Omar, Omar Cooper

  did some great catches. Don't forget Riley, Noah Kowski

  had tight end. He had a great game.

  It all starts in the trenches up front, you know, Carter Smith,

  Drew Evans, Pat Coogan, Bray Lynch, Zen Makowski up front,

  really making time. The quarterback #15 I forget his
• 4:58
  name. He had the world to pass the

  ball and show why he won the Heisman.

  So that's, you know, great breakdown.

  How'd you like that? See what I did there That.

  Was good you basically just read the Empire Indiana roster for

  anybody who wasn't aware. So that was good we.

  Appreciate all the players names now and they're all going to

  The only thing that kind of surprised me is like if, if you

  guys are, I mean, obviously we know, we, we all read other
• 5:25
  articles and, and see what other people are thinking.

  I, I don't think I heard anybody laying the points with Indiana.

  I think we all thought that anybody betting this game was
• 5:35
  taking, taking the 8 1/2 and obviously the kickoff went down
• 5:37
  to 7 1/2. So a lot of people betting on
• 5:40
  Miami, but there were quite a few people who were picking
• 5:43
  Miami and went outright and their their reasoning was this
• 5:45
  was, you know, Tim and bench at the trenches.
• 5:48
  But Miami's offensive line outweighing Indiana's defensive
• 5:51
  line by like 50 lbs a guy. There was one drive in the first
• 5:56
  half where Miami just went like pass, pass, pass and quick three
• 5:59
  and out. Didn't understand that at all,
• 6:02
  especially since like in the first half, Miami didn't have
• 6:04
  the ball that often. It was pretty much time of
• 6:06
  possession dominated by Indiana. So I wonder if if even on that
• 6:10
  one drive, if they had tried to run, maybe try and wear it out
• 6:13
  in Indiana because they're saying Indiana really doesn't
• 6:15
  swap out a lot of their starters.
• 6:16
  I mean, those guys are playing the majority of the game for 16
• 6:19
  games now, but didn't even look like they really tried to to
• 6:22
  tire that unit out. So and you know, you lose by 6.
• 6:27
  You you doink the field goal there.
• 6:28
  Maybe Carson Beck doesn't throw that deep pass.
• 6:31
  He just tries maybe throw a couple more short ones to get
• 6:32
  into the field goal range and tie it up.

  But I mean, good game. I mean, I was nervous once
• 6:37
  Indiana settled for that field goal.

  I was like, that offensive lineman is going to leave school

  after that false penalty. I was like, I don't know if you
• 6:46
  heard his interview, He said that somebody asked him what he
• 6:49
  thought of when Shark made that interception.

  He goes, I may kiss him, whatever.

  If you're off the hook, if that's what you want to do, more

  power to you. But yeah, definitely an

  entertaining game. I'm not surprised at the

  outcome. And like I said, if you followed

  us and and went with our bets, we all gave out a bet.

  We all hit Pete gave out 8 1/2 that hit Tim gave out the over
• 7:08
  47 1/2 that hit my dog's ground like crazy and I gave out first

  quarter under 9 and 1/2. It was 3 nothing when the first
• 7:17
  quarter ended. So good way to end for us as
• 7:20
  fans. We got to see the you lose and
• 7:22
  as betters we all cashed our last ticket of the year.

  So a couple things did come full circle.

  I heard some tidbits after the game.

  Mendoza wanted to go to Miami and they didn't even recruit
• 7:34
  him. I guess his parents both went to
• 7:36
  Miami. They were a tennis player.

  They're moments of swimmer, I believe, and another one that
• 7:42
  came really full circle. Jamari Sharp, who made that
• 7:46
  interception at the end of the game His dad played for Miami
• 7:51
  and he. Had he got that penalty against
• 7:52
  he? Had the penalty at the end of
• 7:54
  the game against Ohio State to set up Claret to go in and
• 7:59
  squirt a touch on at the end. That's talk about full circle

  there. It's like, wow.

  So I don't there was no crystal ball moment, but we did have the

  Carson Beck moment. But one or the other, I figured

  one of them was going to happen. I didn't think it, but I was

  thinking, OK, here's the time. I was probably thinking maybe a

  sack on Beck, but a fumble or something like that.

  I didn't actually say interception, but I thought if

  it was going to game was going to end the way it ended, it was

  going to be something like that. It wasn't going to be like a,

  you know, a, you know, a tackle behind the line of scrimmage on

  4th and one or anything like that.

  It was going to be a turnover by some some way of a turnover by

  Carson Beck. So but no crystal ball moment.

  Miami's going to apparently try and buy out whatever they need

  to buy out, and there's the word on the street he's headed to EU.

  Just a wild, Wild West. Yeah, so you might actually

  still be back if they get Mensa, which will depress me as a fan,

  but we'll see. Those guys have until what, 2

  days from now, the 24th? Those those two teams can still

  have players enter the portal five days after their last game.

  So I think that team feels more of like a grown up contender now

  and hopes and dreams of last year.

  So that feels more solid to me where they sit.

  Oregon, I think they're a sneaky strong contender at that level.

  So that is interesting to me. They they tend to peak late.

  They're built to be a playoff contender.

  So it didn't obviously go back great last year, but they ran

  into a monster and and the wheels came off on them pretty

  quick in that game. So stuff happens.

  Whatever they're going to learn from that.

  So I think there's there's something positive there.

  It's 2:00 on the other side. I mean, Indiana, obviously it's

  way up there 'cause they just won.

  They're going to come down So that that I don't love in Miami,

  which is not on this list because they're a little below

  this level. They're a year out, I think see

  what happens at quarterback, but I think certainly they're loaded

  a lot of talent, but I think they're a year out from being

  able to kind of come back. So those are my thoughts real

  these schedules. I took a look at some of them

  like Notre Dame and Texas Tech have really cake schedules.

  That's great to get you into the playoff, but I don't know how

  battle tested you are when it comes to playoff time.

  soft schedule. They didn't play any other top

  teams in the SEC last year and their first game out, you know,

  they put up three against Miami. So I mean, I think he got to

  have some tough games in there to to make a run Texas schedule

  is kind of tough, but I think I kind of want higher odds.

  I have a little questions about their offensive line, but they

  did great in the portal. LSU also great in the portal.

  Before I gave these odds to Tim, they managed to snag old missus

  stack leader and I'm going to try and pronounce that dude's

  No, Levitt's got some injury concerns, but if he stays

  healthy, well, the one on LSU isn't terrible.

  They do start with Clemson again, so they would need to win

  don't know, Clemson lost a lot as well, but lean a little bit

  towards you and Texas not really liking the odds with Notre Dame

  Ole Miss was they bought all their players.

  They had DK and all them and all four of them lost in the bowl

  game. Like FSU beat Auburn, Oklahoma

  beat Alabama, and I think Georgia Tech beat Ole Miss and I

  want to say TCU beat Mississippi State.

  It's like every all the other conferences all they took their

  turns like like kicking their ass.

  Danny Cannell had a field day with that with Paul Feinbaum.

  I'm sure, but this year the SEC wasn't any good either.

  If when they weren't beating each other the only other team

  they beat was James Madison. Other than that they beat nobody

  of of real quality so. They didn't win any bowl games.

  in the playoffs thanks to constant whinings.
