- 1:11Speaker 3: by P and C Bank, a lot of people think
- 1:13Speaker 3: podcasts about work are boring, and sure they definitely can be,
- 1:17Speaker 3: But understanding of professionals routine shows us how they achieve
- 1:21Speaker 3: their success little by little, day after day. It's like
- 1:25Speaker 3: banking with P and C Bank. It might seem boring
- 1:28Speaker 3: to save, plan and make calculated decisions with your bank,
- 1:31Speaker 3: but keeping your money boring is what helps you live
- 1:34Speaker 3: or more happily fulfilled life. P and C Bank Brilliantly
- 1:38Speaker 3: Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty
- 1:42Speaker 3: five is a service mark of the PNC Financial Service Group, Inc.
- 1:46Speaker 3: P and C Bank National Association Member FDIC.
- 1:51Speaker 4: For anyone who may be watching right now and they're like, Okay,
- 1:54Speaker 4: with all this doom and gloom, what's the point if
- 1:56Speaker 4: the system is read, can we give them a conclude
- 2:00Speaker 4: answer about why you still have to invest despite of
- 2:03Speaker 4: the conditions we may face in roadblocks that may be
- 2:06Speaker 4: thrown away.
- 2:07Speaker 5: I mean, it's the only option, Like he said, you know,
- 2:08Speaker 5: the only three ways to get the bill Welk in
- 2:10Speaker 5: his country is is real estate, stocks.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And business.
- 2:13Speaker 5: You noticed he didn't say working a job, saving. He
- 2:18Speaker 5: didn't say any of that. So at the end of
- 2:21Speaker 5: the day, Republican, Democrat, independent, doesn't matter. If your goal
- 2:26Speaker 5: is to have financial freedom, which people that watch just
- 2:28Speaker 5: show that's usually their goal. You have to invest. That's
- 2:32Speaker 5: the only the only way. It's the only way to
- 2:35Speaker 5: have financial freedom. Now, you're still going to have other
- 2:37Speaker 5: issues in life, but this show is focused on financial freedom.
- 2:41Speaker 5: So yeah, with that being said, at least me to
- 2:43Speaker 5: my next question. Beyond stocks, what are some alternative sources
- 2:47Speaker 5: of income for those looking to invest heavily while moving
- 2:53Speaker 5: beyond a traditional nine to five job.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I mean, we just talked to hit the nail on
- 2:58Speaker 1: the head.
- 2:58Speaker 4: You have to build a business or build something that
- 3:01Speaker 4: that you're best.
- 3:02Speaker 1: In the world.
- 3:02Speaker 4: I know it's not an answer that everyone loves, but
- 3:04Speaker 4: even when we're talking yesterday about networking tips, a keep
- 3:09Speaker 4: your pitch down to ten seconds because it's going to
- 3:12Speaker 4: be people meeting all day, all night. But when you're
- 3:15Speaker 4: looking to build a business, what can you do that
- 3:17Speaker 4: someone else in the world is not able to do?
- 3:20Speaker 4: You want to enter a field that doesn't have a
- 3:22Speaker 4: ton of competition. So like when chat GPT came onto
- 3:25Speaker 4: the scene, they have more competitors now, but for seventy
- 3:29Speaker 4: five years they were trying to make something like that.
- 3:31Speaker 1: They were the ones that were able to execute it.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Google, who dropped the fucking ball, were supposed to have
- 3:36Speaker 4: come out with something like this eight years ago.
- 3:38Speaker 1: They didn't do it. What can you build?
- 3:40Speaker 4: What resource can you give to your community, to the
- 3:43Speaker 4: world that no one else can do, and then you'll
- 3:46Speaker 4: get a win fall from there. You have to build
- 3:48Speaker 4: a business or help someone build theirs. So going back
- 3:52Speaker 4: to the CEO of Starbucks, now, his skill set is
- 3:56Speaker 4: so valuable that it's worth paying them one hundred and
- 3:58Speaker 4: thirteen million dollars and conversation to help resurrect Starbucks from
- 4:03Speaker 4: where they are now to where.
- 4:05Speaker 1: They should be.
- 4:06Speaker 4: So be so valuable that you can increase the evaluation
- 4:09Speaker 4: of a company. That's the only way you have to
- 4:11Speaker 4: build a business.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Have to.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Know more to it. That's it.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Work on your craft every day. I keep stressing this
- 4:26Speaker 4: be genuine and the people that you meet. But people
- 4:28Speaker 4: can feel if you worked on your craft when you're pitching,
- 4:31Speaker 4: like we'll talk about it, but you're like, hey, what
- 4:34Speaker 4: can I do to get better? You guys have the
- 4:35Speaker 4: conversation when Nick Cannon is like, hey, do there's networking
- 4:38Speaker 4: matter more being great at your craft. The answer is both.
- 4:41Speaker 4: But if you're not great at it, the connection doesn't matter.
- 4:45Speaker 4: It doesn't matter. Can you put up points on the
- 4:47Speaker 4: board when you get the ball in your proverbial court?
- 4:50Speaker 2: Can you continuously put points up on the board?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Absolutely?
- 4:53Speaker 3: And the crunch time, Yeah, it's important because I mean
- 4:58Speaker 3: each person is has a subjective opinion, and so is
- 5:02Speaker 3: your message is going to be consistent every time?
- 5:05Speaker 2: Are you going to show up every time the same way.
- 5:06Speaker 1: And the output be consistent? It's important.
- 5:10Speaker 3: I was gonna say, can we run through some earners
- 5:12Speaker 3: really quickly? Since we're talking about obviously investing in creating business.
- 5:17Speaker 3: You tell me what you think about these companies. A
- 5:18Speaker 3: big week for retail. We got Low's reporting this week,
- 5:21Speaker 3: we got Target so, Macy's, TJ max Is reporting, we
- 5:26Speaker 3: got DJ's, Tava's reporting.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Ross.
- 5:30Speaker 2: What's your thoughts around retail? I think that they're seeing
- 5:32Speaker 2: some Upjeck.
- 5:35Speaker 4: I'm not gonna say uninvestable, but that's not why I
- 5:37Speaker 4: will put my first set of cash if I have
- 5:39Speaker 4: some spare cash. I don't want to lie and say
- 5:42Speaker 4: that they're investable like someone else lies.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Shout them. But Kava I like Target not so much.
- 5:53Speaker 1: And also like, okay, what is the interest rate? This
- 5:56Speaker 1: is a great exercise.
- 5:57Speaker 4: What is the current interest rate versus what is the
- 6:00Speaker 4: profit margin at these companies?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Great exercise.
- 6:04Speaker 4: So if the profit margin for Target hypothetically is eight
- 6:07Speaker 4: percent in our interest rate is I don't want that
- 6:11Speaker 4: kind of thing of of a margin.
- 6:13Speaker 1: BJ's easy joke. I want to do it.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Caba like though Ross rosses than that Ross too easy,
- 6:26Speaker 4: you know what I mean? But Ross Ross I like Kava,
- 6:31Speaker 4: Like who else is on there?
- 6:33Speaker 2: Uh?
- 6:34Speaker 3: TJ Max? TJ Max had a rough quarter, solid solid,
- 6:39Speaker 3: you know, I'm interest in seeing Snowflake. Snowflake, they got
- 6:43Speaker 3: beat up last quarter so bad they haven't recovered, dropped
- 6:46Speaker 3: down to one fifty.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I'm interested in seeing that. And then one of the
- 6:50Speaker 2: darlings of the pandemic, Zoom.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Remember when they said Snowflake was gonna be like the
- 6:55Speaker 4: no no no no.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Reality set in for them a bit. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 7:01Speaker 3: it didn't didn't quite deliver it. Where is it's a
- 7:03Speaker 3: one thirty?
- 7:06Speaker 1: It was that three ninety eight, Oh baby them coach?
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yeah, this year was at two thirty two in February
- 7:12Speaker 3: two thirty two, and it's it took a beating. I
- 7:17Speaker 3: think it was after the first quarter, second quarter earning
- 7:19Speaker 3: his report, and it has it.
- 7:21Speaker 2: It has a recover, that has a recover. So I'm
- 7:23Speaker 2: interested to see him with how they report.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Knocked down one hundred and eight bucks over the last
- 7:27Speaker 1: four years.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Yeah for ne though, m h yeah, unless the.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Buffett going to bob a whole bunch of shars and
- 7:34Speaker 4: merger with Geico.
- 7:35Speaker 2: But you know, what do you think about Zoom?
- 7:39Speaker 3: You're talking about one that at its peak it's trying
- 7:44Speaker 3: to stay above trying to stay around above sixty dollars
- 7:47Speaker 3: at this point.
- 7:49Speaker 4: If you're a Zoom, who can you sell to that
- 7:52Speaker 4: is a great piece of technology but has no use case?
- 8:00Speaker 4: Even with that, are more people on Zoom or Instagram Live.
- 8:05Speaker 2: They might have missed the point.
- 8:07Speaker 4: They should have sold as soon as they got hot.
- 8:12Speaker 4: I would have been making every call, just like the
- 8:13Speaker 4: equity company deal a rock Nation, Hey smurgeral well, where
- 8:17Speaker 4: you at speaking of which weekend?
- 8:23Speaker 5: Oh?
- 8:24Speaker 4: Yeah, but Zoom uninvestible.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Shout to the management CEO.
- 8:31Speaker 5: But we have we have to Actually, I'm glad you
- 8:33Speaker 5: said this. We have to be fair about this situation.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I did speak to.
- 8:38Speaker 5: Dang dash who you know, you know, we reported something
- 8:42Speaker 5: that everybody reported last week when it was actually a
- 8:46Speaker 5: teachable moment when Rock a fella well reasonable doubt. He
- 8:53Speaker 5: has a judge thing that's a judgment to sell reasonable
- 8:56Speaker 5: doubt and jay Z's lawyer, so it's been going on auction,
- 9:00Speaker 5: but jay Z's lawyer or Rock Nations lawyer put his
- 9:03Speaker 5: statement out saying that whoever buys it is going to
- 9:08Speaker 5: revert back to jay Z in twenty thirty. Essentially, you
- 9:13Speaker 5: know you're discouraging people from buying it by the same
- 9:15Speaker 5: point in that statement, for sure. So is that something
- 9:27Speaker 5: because it's like eight hundred thousand dollars, right, It's not
- 9:29Speaker 5: like it's eight hundred million dollars, right, Yeah, So is
- 9:37Speaker 5: how do you feel about that? How do you what
- 9:39Speaker 5: that's something that you would do? How do you feel?
- 9:42Speaker 5: What do you what do you answer? How do you
- 9:44Speaker 5: what do you think? As far as in the in
- 9:46Speaker 5: the yeah, you're understands.
- 9:49Speaker 2: What side of the colony is you on?
- 9:51Speaker 5: If side of truth, the side of if he was
- 9:56Speaker 5: the person that was had the judgment, No, the other
- 9:59Speaker 5: side of the person you're on a judgment? You know,
- 10:00Speaker 5: you know you're not in the position doing anything for
- 10:02Speaker 5: the president, who was going to.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Revert to okay, gotcha, I was actually because you know,
- 10:06Speaker 4: Joseph was talking about buying it, right, I think we
- 10:09Speaker 4: should buy them off a dame and given to Hope,
- 10:12Speaker 4: and we should do what buy the master off a
- 10:15Speaker 4: day friend and give them the whole. Why would we
- 10:21Speaker 4: do that relationship?
- 10:24Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying, Why would you give it?
- 10:25Speaker 5: If you buy it, why would you give it?
- 10:28Speaker 4: Well, how much money you think you'll be able to
- 10:29Speaker 4: make off of it in a six year period? I
- 10:32Speaker 4: think the return on investment on a relationship probably ten
- 10:34Speaker 4: next if they bought Manhattan for twenty four dudges.
- 10:39Speaker 2: They don't take me as those type of guys.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Though.
- 10:42Speaker 4: If it was me buying a flat out, would I
- 10:47Speaker 4: to have rights to it for five or six years?
- 10:50Speaker 1: No?
- 10:51Speaker 4: Once again, going back to the conversation we had privately,
- 10:54Speaker 4: I don't want to make it enemy out of anybody
- 10:57Speaker 4: on that side.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and then you don't touch it.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I mean, you know it's one because he like you know,
- 11:03Speaker 1: he's uninvestable.
- 11:04Speaker 4: By making that statement, he almost gave a declaration of
- 11:07Speaker 4: war to say you only have five years anyway, but
- 11:10Speaker 4: five or six years, but those five sec years can
- 11:13Speaker 4: be Lawyers don't even make those.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Statements normally run back to Sean anyway, what Yeah.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Unless you don't want to you know, you don't want
- 11:23Speaker 2: eck where you go to the prison.
- 11:25Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean, you know, he he he.
- 11:27Speaker 5: I think he's looking at from a standpoint of he's
- 11:29Speaker 5: saying that, and he said this before, like you know
- 11:31Speaker 5: that the bylaws were changed and the potential sale originally
- 11:39Speaker 5: it was supposed to be it was supposed to be
- 11:41Speaker 5: valued at twenty million, ten to twenty million, So how
- 11:43Speaker 5: does it come to only eight hundred thousand? And then
- 11:46Speaker 5: putting that statement out actually lowers the value even more
- 11:49Speaker 5: to the point where I don't know what the market
- 11:51Speaker 5: value is now or maybe one hundred thousand maybe who knows.
- 11:54Speaker 5: You know, it's uh so, I guess the question would
- 11:58Speaker 5: be what would be the motive for doing that? I
- 12:01Speaker 5: guess that's that's the mind frame that he would kind
- 12:04Speaker 5: of go in. It's like, what would be the motive
- 12:06Speaker 5: of somebody doing that? Other then you know, devaluate it to.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Hurt, to devaluate it and then destroy completely because if
- 12:16Speaker 4: I make it uninvestable, or not a wise investment and
- 12:21Speaker 4: is it going to revert back to jay z anyway
- 12:25Speaker 4: is to drive the buyer's market. No different if you
- 12:29Speaker 4: have a condom enemies, like, well it's contaminated with lead.
- 12:33Speaker 4: Of course you're going to devalue the property for what
- 12:35Speaker 4: it could go for.
- 12:38Speaker 3: That's on the sale of it. But if there's a
- 12:40Speaker 3: judgment on the side of it, doesn't that change it? Right,
- 12:42Speaker 3: Like in the sense of it if it doesn't sell
- 12:45Speaker 3: at that value, right if the judgments for eight hundred thousand,
- 12:47Speaker 3: and now the value of that is going down to
- 12:49Speaker 3: let's say, if it's one, there's still seven hundred thousand
- 12:51Speaker 3: that needs to be made on that judgment.
- 12:53Speaker 1: That hurts him, right, that hurts him design So it's.
- 12:58Speaker 5: Like looking like, why would you want to hurt me
- 13:01Speaker 5: more than I've already suffered?
- 13:04Speaker 1: Right?
- 13:04Speaker 5: Like you if you have to pay eight hundred thousand,
- 13:07Speaker 5: and your asset, your only asset that you have, could
- 13:11Speaker 5: potentially sell for eight hundred thousand, that'll get you out
- 13:13Speaker 5: the clear. But now if that asset is deemed worthless,
- 13:16Speaker 5: you still owe eight hundred thousand. So now it's just
- 13:19Speaker 5: puts you in a pibbow.
- 13:20Speaker 2: A different situation here.
- 13:21Speaker 5: Now you got to try to figure out where're gona
- 13:23Speaker 5: get eight hundred thousand from.
- 13:26Speaker 4: This reminds me a lot of warm Buffett Lehman situation
- 13:29Speaker 4: in two thousand and eight. I'll say the economy. But
- 13:31Speaker 4: as a result, something has to fall apart that I
- 13:36Speaker 4: want to fall apart.
- 13:38Speaker 2: So he's saying we should call Jamie Diamond. He got
- 13:42Speaker 2: the answer, let me come save you all.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Yes.
- 13:46Speaker 6: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 13:50Speaker 6: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 13:54Speaker 6: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 13:58Speaker 6: filming and selling child graphy in Michigan. These are just
- 14:02Speaker 6: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 14:06Speaker 6: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States
- 14:09Speaker 6: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 14:14Speaker 6: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 14:18Speaker 6: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 14:21Speaker 6: are here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 14:25Speaker 6: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you will
- 14:29Speaker 6: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 14:33Speaker 6: app and leave now you could be allowed to return legally.
- 14:36Speaker 6: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump America's laws,
- 14:41Speaker 6: border and families will be protected.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
