- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Somebody else had, by the way, texted earlier going, is there a place I can check to see if my birthday was spun?
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: Like if they had missed a week.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: We don't post that per se.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: We do keep a spreadsheet.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: We do know Allie knows every single date that has been spun since we brought her back for the 20th anniversary of the Scott and Allie show.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: By the way, it's Friday.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Wake up! Just making sure you guys are, you know, let's go.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, that took a lot out of me because I'm still drained from yesterday to that Thursday night game.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: It's tough.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Here's it here here were the birthdays.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Oh, you're gonna do it right now.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: 123102 2789.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: 21596, 418.53, 41106, 28, 1954, 13, 1970, 731, 73, 11, 2003, 41, 2003, uh, 529, the year 2000, 617, 82, and then the last week's was the Ides of March of 1981.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Wow, all over the place.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: Well, at any rate, uh, that'll happen very, very, very soon.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Last night we I had uh well, we hosted somebody from corporate at my house, and he told me the nicest thing.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: He lived with the owner of our company for a very brief amount of time.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: I'd heard that story once, yeah.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: I can't believe it.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: That's the sweetest, but also the weirdest thing because can you imagine?
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Think of your boss right now.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: I think it's an awesome gesture, especially when like life throws you some challenges.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Oh, sure.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: And I think our boss is a nice guy.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: I can't see our boss saying, Allie, you can come.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Like after my breakup, I had I needed a temporary housing situation.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: And my friends Matt and Donna gave me that.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: And but can you imagine Jonathan going, you can come live with me.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, flip it around.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: I could have rented in my downstairs.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: You could have rented me?
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Oh, me?
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: Jonathan.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Oh, yes, yes, yes.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: I could have.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Didn't.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Well, also, I don't want to wake up with the boss.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: I don't what did you do the night before that?
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: You ended up in bed with him.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: No, going in the kitchen and like, morning.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: Oh, see, in my situation, it would be totally different.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: No, see, it all depends on the boss and the chemistry.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: I could totally see our friend that's in town.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: Dave's our friend that's in town from uh from the corporate level.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: I even told him next time, come stay with me.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: Right, exactly.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's a few people that we're very close with up at the top level.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, we call it the top, but I mean, they're they're colleagues.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: We work with these people.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: They just don't have a studio like we do.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: They work, you know, all over the place for the company.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: And he's got great chemistry with the owner.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: We have, and I think, and I think the our owner is one of these people that is very generous enough to be like, yeah, I want to take care of you.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: She's a very, very giving person uh as far as making sure everyone's quote unquote air quotes okay, if that makes sense.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Um, I will tell you, I had a boss.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: Uh, this is a while ago.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: This is uh well, more than 13 years ago now.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, when you buy a house and there are okay, there's a couple things that happen.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: You have to make sure all of your accounts are in order, good standing.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: You know, good standing so that things can, you know, close.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: And I had a bill that I had to pay, it was like$2,500 and I had to pay it, and it had to happen before I went to closing.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: I don't remember the details of it.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: He gave me that.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: Now I did make an agreement with him.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: I said, listen, it's kind of funny, that money's coming back to me the day that I signed the check or signed the papers for the house.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: So it's like, I know in 10 days I can give this back to you.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: But$2,500 is no chump change.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Gave, he, he fronted that for me.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: He goes, uh, well, don't kid yourself.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: The guy owns his own plane, too.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: He's doing all right for himself.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: But it was still the nice gesture.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: He could have just been like, Well, good luck with that.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: But he was like, No, I'll I'll help you out.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'll help you out.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: So I did have, I've had it happen.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: There are some that are great.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Is there anyone with us that their boss has done something so super nice like that?
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Like, loaned you$2,500.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: I'm not talking bringing cupcakes for your birthday anymore.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: No, I'm talking like you can come live with me temporarily.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: That's big.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I will give you$2,500 so you can close on your house type of stuff.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: Just shoot us a message because I I don't think I'm a bad employee, but no boss has ever done that uh that that huge gesture for me.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: And I remember we were just talking about it.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: I didn't specifically ask him for it.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: I was explaining, I'm like, oh, you know, I'm I'm I'm this, I'm this, I just gotta figure out what I'm gonna do.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: And it just happened.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: So that in itself is an even nicer gesture of the nice gesture.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: Jump on the app, because usually people think bosses are but they're bosses, right?
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: Bosses are buttholes.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Uh right.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: On the app, the notebook or the microphone, the nicest thing your boss has ever done for you.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: Okay.
