- Two Million in Louisiana! This is The Lottery Rundown for Tuesday October 6th Powerball drew Monday night with 16, 23, 32, 36 and 54, plus Powerball 9 and a 2X multiplier. Nobody claimed the jackpot, but one lucky Louisiana ticket holder matched all five white balls with Power Play for a huge 2 million dollar prize. Would you trust yourself to finish breakfast before checking that ticket a fourth time? Four of the five white balls were even; the odd one, 23, had to carry the entire rebellion. Number 36 also returned after 28 drawings away. Wednesday’s jackpot climbs to 485 million dollars, with a cash value of 199 million 800 thousand dollars. That could finance a luxury submarine dedicated entirely to retrieving golf balls from water hazards. The jackpot has gone 23 drawings and 54 days without a winner, a fairly normal stretch. Moving to Mega Millions, the last draw was Friday, October 2, with 6, 37, 40, 41 and 55, plus Mega Ball 10. No jackpot winner emerged, while one thrilled Wisconsin ticket holder collected a massive 4 million dollar prize. Four of the five white balls landed above 35, giving the draw a distinctly top-heavy shape. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at 345 million dollars, with a cash value of 139 million 600 thousand dollars. The run stands at 19 drawings and 66 days without a jackpot winner, still close to ordinary territory for Mega Millions.
