- 0:00Speaker 1: This is kiss breakfast here's nat with a hit of
- 0:03Speaker 1: celeb news what he got.
- 0:04Speaker 2: So photos of kelly osbourne have kind of been going
- 0:07Speaker 2: viral over the last year because she has lost a
- 0:10Speaker 2: really dramatic amount of weight like to the point where
- 0:13Speaker 2: it was concerning um and she realized that herself because
- 0:16Speaker 2: she's now come out in an interview because you never
- 0:18Speaker 2: know when a celebrity loses so much weight if they
- 0:21Speaker 2: think it looks good or if there's something deeper going
- 0:24Speaker 2: on there. Plus, it's always awkward to comment on a
- 0:26Speaker 2: woman's body in general. But there is a definite point
- 0:29Speaker 2: where you can look at people and go, oh, you
- 0:31Speaker 2: look unwell. And she was in that case looked very unwell.
- 0:35Speaker 2: So now she's come out and said she actually had
- 0:38Speaker 2: no idea how much weight she'd lost until she saw
- 0:41Speaker 2: a photo of herself. taken during a dress fitting and
- 0:45Speaker 2: she said she looked like the effing Crypt Keeper and said,
- 0:48Speaker 2: it's scary, I didn't realise I looked like that. My spine,
- 0:51Speaker 2: you could see every single bone. So then once she realised,
- 0:54Speaker 2: she started wearing these really big wigs that would like
- 0:56Speaker 2: kind of hide her really gaunt face and try and mask.
- 1:00Speaker 1: It a little bit.
- 1:01Speaker 2: But she says basically she was just so distracted and
- 1:04Speaker 2: overpowered with grief from her father, Ozzy Osbourne's passing that
- 1:08Speaker 2: it kind of got a hold of her and she
- 1:09Speaker 2: didn't realise and before she knew it, She was really,
- 1:12Speaker 2: really unwell looking.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Is that what can happen when you lose weight as well?
- 1:15Speaker 2: I think about when I did it, I had like
- 1:17Speaker 2: 12 kilos on.
- 1:18Speaker 1: There was a point where I kept going a little
- 1:19Speaker 1: too far.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:21Speaker 1: And I think... I think you do have to look
- 1:24Speaker 1: back on photos. Like I had a couple of months ago,
- 1:27Speaker 1: because I was like really head down, bum up. I
- 1:31Speaker 1: wanted to get really fit for my 40th. But my genetics,
- 1:35Speaker 1: if I lock into anything, I will lose weight. But
- 1:39Speaker 1: I never lose it from my bottom half. I always
- 1:41Speaker 1: lose it from my top half of my body.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I looked back on a photo. It was my girlfriend's
- 1:47Speaker 1: 40th birthday and all of my chest, my bones here
- 1:51Speaker 1: were sticking out. I look like a greyhound and I
- 1:53Speaker 1: was like, yuck.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Those bones that go like horizontally.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I've seen that too. It's the first place I
- 2:00Speaker 1: lose weight from. But if I didn't have those photos,
- 2:03Speaker 1: I wouldn't have even realised. But it was a bit
- 2:05Speaker 1: of a yuck. Time for some, obviously, carbs and a
- 2:08Speaker 1: trip to Italy.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Sort of.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Sort of me straight out. But I do know that sometimes, yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 1: you're so in the zone that you don't realise that
- 2:19Speaker 1: you've almost gone a bit too far.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Well, it's body dysmorphia, right? Like you fully, and I
- 2:22Speaker 2: think as women particularly, it's drilled into us that you
- 2:25Speaker 2: can't be too skinny. You can only be fat. And
- 2:27Speaker 2: then it gets to a point where like when people
- 2:30Speaker 2: are concerned about your health, it's like, okay, maybe that's
- 2:33Speaker 2: when the penny drops. And for some people it still doesn't, sadly.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Sandra Bullock, now a huge actress. She's in a new movie,
- 2:39Speaker 2: Practical Magic 2, with Nicole Kidman. So she's doing a
- 2:43Speaker 2: lot of press right now. But aside from her career,
- 2:45Speaker 2: she's also a mum of two kids. Her son is 16.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Her daughter's 13. So they're kind of that peak, like,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I hate my parents age. By the way, both these
- 2:53Speaker 2: children are non-biological children.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Adopted. Yes.
- 2:56Speaker 2: So she's a single mom as well because her partner
- 2:58Speaker 2: tragically passed away three years ago now from ALS. So
- 3:01Speaker 2: she's raising these kids on her own now. And she
- 3:04Speaker 2: shared her greatest joy of being as a parent, sorry.
- 3:08Speaker 2: And it's probably not what you'd expect. So take a
- 3:11Speaker 2: listen to what she loves doing.
- 3:12Speaker 1: And he's like, you know, can I have a milkshake?
- 3:14Speaker 2: And I'm like, yeah, sure. And then I get up
- 3:16Speaker 2: there and I go, my milkshake brings, you know, and
- 3:18Speaker 2: I'll just start talking.
- 3:19Speaker 1: And he's just watching it. And then if he smiles,
- 3:22Speaker 1: I'm laughing so hard, whether he smiles or not. But
- 3:24Speaker 1: like humiliation. Yes. Makes me laugh. Me too.
- 3:28Speaker 2: If I can humiliate my children. Yes.
- 3:30Speaker 1: In the privacy of our home, not in public. Yes,
- 3:32Speaker 1: of course. But in the privacy of our own home.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:34Speaker 1: With a little rump shaking. It's the greatest joy. I mean,
- 3:39Speaker 1: Ryan loves to humiliate my kids. He doesn't just keep
- 3:43Speaker 1: it to the privacy of our own home, though. He
- 3:45Speaker 1: loves to do it, like, out the front of Charlie's school.
- 3:48Speaker 1: What will he do? He'll be like, bye, Charlie. Bye, darling. Charlie,
- 3:53Speaker 1: love you. And he's doing the love heart hands and
- 3:55Speaker 1: she's like, go away. But it's like the more... She
- 3:59Speaker 1: doesn't want it the more he does it, right? Oh,
- 4:01Speaker 1: it's fun, right? Yeah. And so he does it all
- 4:04Speaker 1: the time. I also enjoy a little bit of humiliation.
- 4:09Speaker 1: What do you do? Well, I just like to, a
- 4:12Speaker 1: lot of my boys sometimes, especially my youngest, I don't
- 4:14Speaker 1: know where he's picking this up, and he doesn't like
- 4:16Speaker 1: me to give him kisses or cuddles in front of
- 4:18Speaker 1: his mates at school. Yeah, of course. How old is he?
- 4:21Speaker 1: He's seven. I thought he'd be still too young for that. Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And so I obviously go over the top and I
- 4:30Speaker 1: bring him in for a big bear hug. And I
- 4:32Speaker 1: kiss him all over his cheeks. Mummy loves you. He
- 4:36Speaker 1: just walks, storms off.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Poor little kid, you've ruined all his game.
- 4:39Speaker 1: He secretly loves it, I'm sure of it. Well, better
- 4:41Speaker 1: than a parent that doesn't love you, right? Right?
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah, sure.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I mean, obviously, yeah.
