- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KFI AM
- 0:04Speaker 1: six forty.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Yes, is falling Swift Observatory space telescope to destructive atmospheric
- 0:18Speaker 2: re entry later this year?
- 0:19Speaker 3: And is it re entering at a much faster rate
- 0:22Speaker 3: than normal satellites?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Do?
- 0:24Speaker 4: I think it's not, because you know, they spend thirty
- 0:26Speaker 4: million dollars trying to save this thing, getting pushing it
- 0:29Speaker 4: up into an orbit and it didn't work.
- 0:33Speaker 5: You miss that. It's a it's the Swift Observatory.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Oh I did.
- 0:40Speaker 5: Yeah, that's why he had to tell us.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why this is called the Bill Handle Show.
- 0:44Speaker 3: It's because of the humor.
- 0:46Speaker 5: Yes, it's horrible.
- 0:48Speaker 1: And now Handle on the news, Ladies and gentlemen. Here's
- 0:53Speaker 1: Bill Handle.
- 0:56Speaker 5: KFI A M six forty Friday.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I guess twenty once as we start the Friday show,
- 1:04Speaker 3: and Friday is always fun.
- 1:06Speaker 5: I love it.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Foody Friday at eight o'clock with Neil and then I'm
- 1:09Speaker 3: gonna try something new at eight thirty. A little bit
- 1:12Speaker 3: of Handle history which I was fascinated by, and I'll
- 1:16Speaker 3: tell you. I'd tell you about that a little bit later.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Oh. Also a quick.
- 1:19Speaker 3: One regarding our promo guaranteed human. Now why didn't they
- 1:25Speaker 3: start doing that promo years and years ago when describing
- 1:28Speaker 3: our show? Oh I get it because of the irony
- 1:33Speaker 3: involved guaranteed human.
- 1:39Speaker 5: Yeah, oh that's a given. Yeah, yeah, that's true. All right.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Oh and you know holidays.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Here's what happens at Christmas time is you have no
- 1:49Speaker 3: idea how many I actually get buckets lowed of pieces
- 1:54Speaker 3: of coal that are given to me.
- 1:57Speaker 4: You can eat the house with its.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Air of surprise from your crew. That's true. Okay, Look
- 2:05Speaker 5: at the colors.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Will and Amy are wearing identical colors, I mean identical.
- 2:11Speaker 3: But Amy is wearing the La Dodgers logo on her shirt?
- 2:16Speaker 3: Does it say Dodgers underneath that? Because I only get
- 2:18Speaker 3: the top just as La, That's what I thought?
- 2:21Speaker 5: And Will? What does that shirt say? A super Bowl
- 2:24Speaker 5: that I was? I worked on the TV crew? Oh
- 2:28Speaker 5: oh there it is? Yeah? What what do you do
- 2:31Speaker 5: for the TV crew? The aerial video above the stadium?
- 2:36Speaker 5: What was in Arizona? And what what device or what
- 2:40Speaker 5: platform were you on? I was in an airplane running
- 2:44Speaker 5: a camera.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Uh okay, side gig during the winter colne.
- 2:50Speaker 5: No, well, a drone, I mean, there's no chance you
- 2:53Speaker 5: can get on a drone.
- 2:54Speaker 3: But even then do they look at you know, how
- 2:56Speaker 3: they figure out the weight of people relative to the
- 2:59Speaker 3: amount of few relative to the altitude airplane bill there
- 3:05Speaker 3: takes off in lands.
- 3:06Speaker 5: It's a very sturdy airport.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I was once on an airplane coming out of Utah
- 3:11Speaker 3: where my kids were in nut school, and we were
- 3:15Speaker 3: and Saint George is pretty high. We're leaving Saint George
- 3:19Speaker 3: hotter than hell. It was a little puddle jumper, and
- 3:22Speaker 3: they actually said we need people to get off the
- 3:25Speaker 3: airplane because the weight is too high, you know, the
- 3:29Speaker 3: air is too thin. And so then they started offering money.
- 3:34Speaker 3: And the trick is, if you are ever on an airplane,
- 3:37Speaker 3: for example, they've overbooked it, which happens all the time,
- 3:40Speaker 3: and they come on and say we need some volunteers.
- 3:43Speaker 3: If everybody just shuts up, the amount of money and
- 3:48Speaker 3: the amount of credits and free tickets goes through the roof.
- 3:50Speaker 3: But somebody inevitably goes, oh, okay, I'll take it for free. Idiots.
- 3:54Speaker 3: All right, So much for that very bad negotiating tactic.
- 3:58Speaker 3: All right, Amy, will or the Neil there are you?
- 4:01Speaker 3: Good morning, Hello William, Oh hello, Ann, Yes, thank you,
- 4:08Speaker 3: d good morning.
- 4:10Speaker 5: She had.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Anne was telling me two hours sleep because she was
- 4:13Speaker 3: working the football game. No, it was not foot the ball,
- 4:18Speaker 3: it was football football. It was football playing ordinary football.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Real.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Yeah, well, it depends on how you argue it.
- 4:27Speaker 3: It's if you look at internationally American football is they
- 4:32Speaker 3: don't understand it. But we're in America, I understand. But
- 4:37Speaker 3: using the term football never mind. We can go on
- 4:41Speaker 3: for a long time with that one. Anyway, So Anne
- 4:43Speaker 3: was working so far and got caught up on the
- 4:47Speaker 3: freeway coming home the sup passes because and you're on
- 4:55Speaker 3: two hours sleep. Yeah, And I don't know how you
- 4:58Speaker 3: do that. I don't either, that one. I don't get.
- 5:00Speaker 3: I mean, that's I don't know. Unfortunately, I don't do
- 5:04Speaker 3: amphetamines anymore. I wish I did, no kidding, that would
- 5:08Speaker 3: help enormously. I used to be able to do when
- 5:11Speaker 3: nights like this, I'd roll over and get the little
- 5:13Speaker 3: vial of cocaine in the morning and.
- 5:15Speaker 5: Oh, okay, yeah, let's go to work. Not anymore, I
- 5:19Speaker 5: can't afford it. Yeah, you know what, it is so
- 5:21Speaker 5: much cheaper.
- 5:21Speaker 3: I was talking to you, lindsay, it is so much
- 5:24Speaker 3: cheaper to day when I was, when I was snorting
- 5:28Speaker 3: the evil powder, it was about one hundred dollars a
- 5:32Speaker 3: gram for cocaine.
- 5:34Speaker 5: And that was forty years ago. Wait, how does Lindsay
- 5:39Speaker 5: know how much cocaine cot?
- 5:40Speaker 3: I have no, Well, okay, because that's that's Lindsay. I
- 5:44Speaker 3: mean she she knows. In any case, it was forty dollars.
- 5:48Speaker 3: It was one hundred dollars a gram. Today it is
- 5:51Speaker 3: one hundred dollars a gram. How much did you do today? Oh,
- 5:55Speaker 3: I got to the point where I was doing. I
- 5:58Speaker 3: did at least an eight ball, which is three great
- 6:00Speaker 3: ms a day, and sometimes more. I was a serious
- 6:04Speaker 3: cocaine at really, really, it was a lot of money
- 6:09Speaker 3: I was. I was a successful lawyer literally from day one.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I was very I'm a good hustler. Horrible lawyer, but
- 6:16Speaker 3: a good hustler. And I lived in my office because
- 6:20Speaker 3: I couldn't afford an apartment, and the only thing that
- 6:23Speaker 3: made it livable is my office. Prior to my renting
- 6:28Speaker 3: the office, it was the uh it was a facility
- 6:32Speaker 3: for a porn distribution center, and so there was a
- 6:35Speaker 3: walk in shower and when we were when I first
- 6:38Speaker 3: walked in to renta they had left. Man, it was
- 6:40Speaker 3: red flocked wallpaper and the shag rug and this huge walking,
- 6:45Speaker 3: walking shower, and they still had the tracks where the
- 6:49Speaker 3: camera dolly uh was there. They used to roll the
- 6:52Speaker 3: camera in there, so I would shower there, I'd sleep
- 6:55Speaker 3: on the couch. I had one suit to go to court,
- 7:00Speaker 3: and I had you remember lick cars, Remember that those
- 7:03Speaker 3: little crappy little cars, not quite as good as a
- 7:06Speaker 3: you go. And I had one of those. All my
- 7:09Speaker 3: money went to cocaine, every dime of it.
- 7:12Speaker 2: That's how I could afford to described the first episode
- 7:15Speaker 2: of Better Call Saul.
- 7:16Speaker 3: I know, it was just yeah, that was my background. Yeah,
- 7:20Speaker 3: go figure right, And people actually used to hire me
- 7:23Speaker 3: as their lawyer.
- 7:24Speaker 5: I have no idea.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Well, people listen to me on weekends and ask for
- 7:29Speaker 3: legal advice, and I guess think I know what I'm
- 7:32Speaker 3: talking about, which is come on, guys, I'm telling you
- 7:34Speaker 3: I don't for years. Okay, said hello to everybody, and
- 7:38Speaker 3: I think we are ready to do it. It is
- 7:41Speaker 3: time for a handle on the news on this Friday morning, Amy,
- 7:44Speaker 3: Neil and me.
- 7:45Speaker 5: This is lead story.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Well, okay, the Iran responds to the president and says
- 7:55Speaker 3: that any new threats would quote be devastating against the US.
- 8:01Speaker 3: And this is after Washington pledged to impose the toughest
- 8:04Speaker 3: financial penalties in history.
- 8:07Speaker 5: So I guess war attacks are off the table.
- 8:10Speaker 3: So we're not going to be bombing Iran into oblivion
- 8:14Speaker 3: or wiping it out or anything. The President realizes going
- 8:18Speaker 3: to war is not not going to work.
- 8:21Speaker 5: Physical war, a.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Conflict, and so there it is the toughest financial penalties, which.
- 8:27Speaker 5: Means that Iran will not be able.
- 8:29Speaker 3: To sell their Persian carpets or their chandeliers because Ranian's
- 8:36Speaker 3: that's it's a Ranian joke.
- 8:38Speaker 5: They love chandeliers and marble and.
- 8:41Speaker 3: You know, every I don't know if you've ever been
- 8:43Speaker 3: to an Iranian house. They all look like Iranian whorehouses.
- 8:48Speaker 3: I mean.
- 8:48Speaker 5: And we have friends that were Irani or are Iranian,
- 8:51Speaker 5: you know, for some of your best friends. No, not anymore.
- 8:54Speaker 3: But when we were in our synagogue, which we were
- 8:57Speaker 3: while the kids were going to school, we somehow were
- 9:00Speaker 3: adopted by the Iranian community, and about a third of
- 9:03Speaker 3: the synagogue was Iranian and so we used to go
- 9:06Speaker 3: to the parties and all that, and man, it was
- 9:09Speaker 3: the amount of marble in those houses and the gilded everything.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I mean they you know, Fairfax and stuff, and you
- 9:17Speaker 2: can see the furniture, don't. Yeah, you know, it looked like,
- 9:21Speaker 2: you know, you almost think that Donald Trump is Iranian
- 9:24Speaker 2: because they have the same taste that And I remember
- 9:27Speaker 2: once going into one of our friends. In every room,
- 9:31Speaker 2: every room had a chandelier. They love chandeliers, including the bathrooms.
- 9:37Speaker 5: So I went into one.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Of their bathrooms because they live in Beverly Hills, because
- 9:40Speaker 3: they're all rich, and I asked the lady, the hostess.
- 9:45Speaker 3: I said, hey, there isn't a chandelier in this bathroom
- 9:48Speaker 3: that I went to, and she said it's on order.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Yeah, okay.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Anyway, so it's going to be financial penalties now, and
- 10:00Speaker 3: it's actually going to be secondary penalties. It's any country
- 10:03Speaker 3: doing business with Iran is going to be sanctioned. Well,
- 10:07Speaker 3: we're talking Russia, We're talking China that gets most of
- 10:11Speaker 3: its oil from Iran. It's the geopolitics of this are
- 10:14Speaker 3: completely crazy.
- 10:16Speaker 5: Trump is way over his head on this one.
- 10:18Speaker 4: Yeah, Ami, isn't this how we And it was that
- 10:22Speaker 4: the US who did it kind of forced South Africa
- 10:25Speaker 4: to end apartheid. They basically brought there that there was.
- 10:30Speaker 3: There was absolutely, but that was the entire world sanction everybody.
- 10:34Speaker 3: And do you know the one country, one country that
- 10:37Speaker 3: was an ally of South Africa. You may be surprised Israel.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Israel was the one country and with and sold South Africa.
- 10:46Speaker 3: It's artillery and uh, it's various war material.
- 10:51Speaker 5: As they say, skeeters.
- 10:52Speaker 4: Are packing more than just a bite. California has seen
- 10:56Speaker 4: a surge in mosquito activity that has driven West Nile
- 10:59Speaker 4: viral risk activity to a five year high. As of
- 11:03Speaker 4: August fourteenth, thirteen or thirty human cases of West Nile virus,
- 11:08Speaker 4: including three deaths, have been reported OOH in thirteen counties
- 11:13Speaker 4: in California. That includes just announced yesterday that a person
- 11:18Speaker 4: in San Fernando Valley had died after being hospitalized with
- 11:22Speaker 4: a neurological complication caused by a severe infection of West Nile.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Usually they have underlying medical conditions. I don't know about
- 11:31Speaker 3: you guys, but mosquitos leave me alone for some reason.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I I'm very lucky that I don't get mosquitos. They love, Yeah,
- 11:39Speaker 3: I know they love Lindsay. And here, as mosquitos start
- 11:43Speaker 3: flying around, I just point to her and the mosquitoes.
- 11:47Speaker 4: You'll like her better.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly, Yeah, it's you.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Know what it is though, seriously, it's my blood type. No,
- 11:54Speaker 4: it's because she's sweeter than you. No, like seriously, like
- 11:59Speaker 4: you probably eat a lot onions, right, yeah, I like onions. Yeah,
- 12:02Speaker 4: they don't like that.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Oh oh onions. If you wear about I don't like garlick. Yeah,
- 12:08Speaker 3: when you wear garlic as a necklace, that'll do it.
- 12:11Speaker 3: And it keeps the vampires away.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Double bonus.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Okay, mosquito squad, we use them. Good people, good service,
- 12:21Speaker 2: not a not a paid endorsement.
- 12:23Speaker 5: All right.
- 12:24Speaker 2: So the FBI has rated a home belonging to former
- 12:27Speaker 2: Democratic Representative Eric Swalwell.
- 12:31Speaker 5: So you know, we know Swallwell.
- 12:34Speaker 2: He hates President Donald Trump and was out there as
- 12:38Speaker 2: an antagonist before he resigned from Congress. Now as a
- 12:42Speaker 2: part of an investigation into sexual misconduct claims against him.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Was one of those reasons. This all has to do
- 12:48Speaker 2: from a source familiar with the investigation. Of course, nobody
- 12:51Speaker 2: names themselves anymore. FBI agencies the usual stuff electronic devices
- 12:59Speaker 2: and the like from Swallwell at the San Fernando San
- 13:02Speaker 2: Francisco International Airport.
- 13:04Speaker 5: Yes you woulds home and washed.
- 13:05Speaker 3: You would think this would be a political move against
- 13:07Speaker 3: Solwell by the fedside. Also local law enforcement in New
- 13:11Speaker 3: York and LA looking into him. So oh yeah, this
- 13:14Speaker 3: actually has legs for sure.
- 13:16Speaker 4: One of the women has accused him.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Of raping her.
- 13:19Speaker 4: That's even Yeah, it kind of goes beyond political.
- 13:22Speaker 2: There was filthy Democrats right right, yeah, no, the filthy rapist. Yes,
- 13:30Speaker 2: oh I was. I was just doing what we do now.
- 13:32Speaker 2: We just call it their political. Everything's political, it's always do.
- 13:37Speaker 4: You should start with us that we stopped that.
- 13:39Speaker 3: As a matter of fact, we go back in history
- 13:41Speaker 3: convicting Charles Manson.
- 13:42Speaker 5: It was a witch hunt against him. Everything was a
- 13:45Speaker 5: witch hunt.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Really.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Another story just for Bill.
- 13:53Speaker 5: Oh boy.
- 13:54Speaker 4: The US Navy's working to rename an aircraft carrier under
- 13:57Speaker 4: construction that was set to honor a black sailor ailed
- 14:00Speaker 4: for his heroic actions during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
- 14:05Speaker 4: It's unclear what the Navy is seeking to change the
- 14:07Speaker 4: name of the carrier too, but according to CNN, it
- 14:12Speaker 4: says two sources have said that there have been internal
- 14:15Speaker 4: conversations about renaming it to honor Trump.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Yeah. First of all, if anybody doubt that, second, of all,
- 14:21Speaker 3: why would you change the name of an aircraft carrier
- 14:24Speaker 3: just to change the name of an aircraft carrier? Also, well,
- 14:29Speaker 3: who was this air craft carrier carrier named after?
- 14:32Speaker 5: Right now? And USS Doris Miller, Yeah, helped enlisted.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Sailor in involved in a Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Okay,
- 14:44Speaker 3: and it would be you know, normal, No, I just say,
- 14:47Speaker 3: we'll wait until it actually does become the USS Donald Trump.
- 14:50Speaker 2: But wouldn't you think or wouldn't you hope that in
- 14:53Speaker 2: that situation, whoever the president would be, would be no,
- 14:57Speaker 2: keep it what it is this way?
- 14:58Speaker 5: Were you kidding? Who do you think? Who do you
- 15:00Speaker 5: think would order this? Who do you think?
- 15:05Speaker 3: Because you have a president who is dead set on
- 15:08Speaker 3: making Washington, DC and the rest of the rest of
- 15:13Speaker 3: the country in his own image. He wants to trumpify everything,
- 15:18Speaker 3: wants to leave his face, his name, his legacy on
- 15:22Speaker 3: everything that he possibly can.
- 15:24Speaker 5: That's the reality here.
- 15:26Speaker 3: By the way, has there ever been a US ship
- 15:28Speaker 3: named after a sitting president? Absolutely not? Okay, moving on.
- 15:37Speaker 5: All right, that's me.
- 15:38Speaker 2: FBI arrests a woman who apparently had some sort of
- 15:44Speaker 2: bomb plan for New York Capitol Building. The FBI arrested
- 15:49Speaker 2: her and she wanted to kill lawmakers there in Albany,
- 15:55Speaker 2: and prosecutors alleged that Jessica Bowie thirty five had previously
- 15:59Speaker 2: pledged allegiance to the Islamic State Group. Is she is
- 16:03Speaker 2: charged with providing material support or resources of some kind
- 16:08Speaker 2: to a designated foreign terrorist organization. She repeatedly surveilled the
- 16:13Speaker 2: building in advance, and she said she wanted to destroy
- 16:17Speaker 2: as much of the building as possible and kill the senators.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Is that illegal?
- 16:23Speaker 3: I think it is, And if not illegal, it's certainly
- 16:27Speaker 3: a civil issue where she can be sued.
- 16:31Speaker 5: Okay with that.
- 16:33Speaker 3: She was given a fake bomb by the FBI and
- 16:37Speaker 3: a gun, a toy gun that didn't work obviously, and
- 16:41Speaker 3: they got her. I mean it was a staying operation.
- 16:42Speaker 3: And she obviously is a genius, isn't she?
- 16:45Speaker 4: Putin and Kim thick as the new wave of North
- 16:49Speaker 4: Korean troops is apparently heading to Russia, along with a
- 16:54Speaker 4: drone unit that could attack targets inside Ukraine, North Korea
- 17:00Speaker 4: and a NATO style mutual defense packed with Russia. Two
- 17:03Speaker 4: years ago and has been sending troops to help Moscow
- 17:07Speaker 4: and maybe asked to contribute another fifty thousand troops when
- 17:11Speaker 4: Putin and Kim Jong un meet next month.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a big deal because Russia is going through
- 17:21Speaker 3: its forces like basically using them as cannon fodder, and
- 17:25Speaker 3: so this will help enormously. And then the politics of this,
- 17:29Speaker 3: This is happening at the same time that the president
- 17:32Speaker 3: has cut back on the exercises and military exercises with
- 17:37Speaker 3: South Korea, so everything's.
- 17:39Speaker 5: Being turned around.
- 17:39Speaker 3: You know, allies are enemies, enemies or allies is kind
- 17:44Speaker 3: of crazy, all right.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Federal judge says Drill Baby Drill, a Texas based oil firm,
- 17:50Speaker 2: can continue to pump oil through pipelines along Santa Barbara
- 17:54Speaker 2: County coast under an emergency order from the Trump administration.
- 17:59Speaker 2: He also transferred much of the regulatory authority over the
- 18:03Speaker 2: oil operation to federal officials, and that kind of well
- 18:08Speaker 2: not kind of, but did strip the state of oversight.
- 18:11Speaker 2: So big blow to California officials there and environmental activists.
- 18:16Speaker 3: I think the entire issue is the definition of the
- 18:19Speaker 3: Defense Production Act, and this is under which the President
- 18:23Speaker 3: made the order and the judge upheld the order. Under
- 18:27Speaker 3: that act, the government can take over and make decisions
- 18:32Speaker 3: in the interests of national security. There is the difference
- 18:36Speaker 3: because the Trump administration basically views everything that he does
- 18:40Speaker 3: in the interests of national security, and that's under that Act,
- 18:47Speaker 3: and no one intended I don't think for wide raging
- 18:51Speaker 3: purposes like this national security. We're already the US is
- 18:57Speaker 3: exporting oil, has more oil than it needs, and still
- 19:03Speaker 3: we have to pump more oil. But you know, the
- 19:06Speaker 3: president has the right to do this according to the courts.
- 19:11Speaker 4: So the Chucky guy could be in la I don't
- 19:15Speaker 4: know if you've seen this. A guy wearing a white
- 19:19Speaker 4: Chucky style match mask has been terrorizing people around Philadelphia.
- 19:25Speaker 4: He's been caught on video. Again, you probably have seen
- 19:28Speaker 4: it by now. I think it would be very freaky.
- 19:31Speaker 4: But on August twelfth, around five thirty am was the
- 19:33Speaker 4: first time he wearing a white mask chased a forty
- 19:37Speaker 4: year old woman in the downtown area of Philadelphia, right
- 19:40Speaker 4: across from City Hall. Apparently she fell and was injured.
- 19:44Speaker 4: He made some threatening comments to her while holding his
- 19:47Speaker 4: hand behind his back, and he's done it to several
- 19:49Speaker 4: other people. He hasn't actually hurt anybody.
- 19:52Speaker 3: But yeah, but he does say how's it, I'm going
- 19:54Speaker 3: to kill you, how does it feel like you're going
- 19:56Speaker 3: to die or some paraphrasing.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Yeah. Also, the guy's name twenty two year old Zimer Hughes,
- 20:03Speaker 4: and he has ties to LA. They think he might
- 20:05Speaker 4: be here now.
- 20:06Speaker 5: And they have a picture of this guy too.
- 20:09Speaker 3: It's you know, I was just about to say the
- 20:13Speaker 3: mask is better looking than he is.
- 20:15Speaker 2: But if he was homeless, this would be totally legal.
- 20:19Speaker 2: That happens in downtown LA all the time. Good point, Neil, Yeah,
- 20:24Speaker 2: very good point. The guy got to get rid of
- 20:27Speaker 2: his house, all right. AI new toify. These are all
- 20:32Speaker 2: kinds of apps out there. You remember when there was
- 20:34Speaker 2: a burst what was it last year? Sometime there was
- 20:37Speaker 2: a burst of these high school incidences where they were
- 20:41Speaker 2: making porn images or naked images from fully clothed images
- 20:46Speaker 2: of people at girls at school and posting them everywhere.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Horrible kind of bullying. Well this back to school photos.
- 20:57Speaker 2: You know, everybody's going back to school clothed all of that.
- 21:01Speaker 2: People with this artificial intelligence are taking those innocent photos
- 21:05Speaker 2: and sexualizing them. They call them new toify apps. They're
- 21:09Speaker 2: AI generated software. They turn photographs of somebody wearing clothes
- 21:13Speaker 2: into naked or pornographic issues, and it's becoming a problem again.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Roughly half of US teens say they've seen AI generated pornography,
- 21:24Speaker 2: and one in five teams even admits to of making
- 21:27Speaker 2: some of this AI porn.
- 21:29Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's easy to spot AI porn.
- 21:32Speaker 3: For example, you know a photo or an app that
- 21:37Speaker 3: shows smoothly Finkelberg, who is impressive if you know what
- 21:42Speaker 3: I mean, and they know that's photoshop.
- 21:45Speaker 5: That's just not true. That's what you're taking away from it,
- 21:50Speaker 5: Schmooller share that is.
- 21:54Speaker 3: As a matter of fact, it shows that smoothly doing
- 21:56Speaker 3: rope tricks without a rope, and you know that just
- 21:59Speaker 3: as all right, okay, still bullying and horrible. Okay, that
- 22:05Speaker 3: was you know that was a softball. You threw it me,
- 22:07Speaker 3: of course you know that.
- 22:08Speaker 5: Don't you have nothing but softballs?
- 22:10Speaker 4: Sir?
- 22:11Speaker 3: There you are, you see you see you take it
- 22:13Speaker 3: to levels that I don't what like funny, I.
- 22:17Speaker 5: No like perverse, depraved. Let's just do one more.
- 22:24Speaker 4: That'll do. Pig, that'll do. Grammy. A winning songwriter Diane
- 22:29Speaker 4: Warren has a new pig, the little black and white
- 22:32Speaker 4: pig named Wilbur, who went viral running through the streets
- 22:36Speaker 4: of West Hollywood was auctioned off because his owner didn't
- 22:39Speaker 4: show up, and the person who won the auction was
- 22:43Speaker 4: Marcia is Willing. She works for Diane Warren, and the
- 22:47Speaker 4: little pig is going to live out his life in
- 22:49Speaker 4: a animal sanctuary in Malibu.
- 22:53Speaker 5: That's sweet. She's renaming it Bacon. Okay, you see, you
- 22:57Speaker 5: know what I think.
- 22:58Speaker 2: George Clooney had a little pot belly pig named Bacon.
- 23:02Speaker 5: Oh you see. There you go. You and George Clooney
- 23:05Speaker 5: at it again.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Damn right, we look the same, George copy you know,
- 23:09Speaker 3: separated at.
- 23:10Speaker 5: Birth, Yeah, for obvious reasons. Yeah, okay, why don't we
- 23:14Speaker 5: kill it?
- 23:15Speaker 2: Okay, Well, it wasn't too long before the lawsuits start
- 23:19Speaker 2: popping out. A Western Pennsylvania woman is now suing Taco
- 23:24Speaker 2: Bell and Taylor Farms in federal court after she was
- 23:27Speaker 2: hospitalized with cyclosporiasis sporia asis.
- 23:33Speaker 6: Yeah, now I'm saying, yeah, of course, I domed yous.
- 23:45Speaker 5: There you go.
- 23:48Speaker 4: It's aunt word.
- 23:49Speaker 5: Yeah, that's just another word for taco.
- 23:51Speaker 2: No, it's not yet, dummy, It's not Taco Bell's fault.
- 23:55Speaker 2: It was Taylor Farm, Taylor Farms. That's correct.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Thro your point, Neo, it is surprising it took this
- 24:01Speaker 3: long for that first lawsuit to hit.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Yeah, so the lawsuit was only filed a couple of
- 24:07Speaker 2: days ago, Ongust eighteenth, in federal court. And you know,
- 24:12Speaker 2: it's important to note that this says the the attorneys
- 24:16Speaker 2: that this illness is much more severe than food poison.
- 24:19Speaker 5: Of course, of course they're going to say that. And
- 24:21Speaker 5: this is the first of thousands. I think, what what
- 24:24Speaker 5: does it actually do?
- 24:26Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, diarrhea, upset stomach, all those things.
- 24:30Speaker 5: Is anything permanent? Didn't you?
- 24:32Speaker 3: No?
- 24:32Speaker 5: But it can get really serious. I mean it can be.
- 24:35Speaker 5: I mean, the symptoms can be very severe. So what
- 24:37Speaker 5: are you going to wages for not being able to
- 24:40Speaker 5: go to work?
- 24:41Speaker 3: Well, yeah, you get that, that's part of your compensatory
- 24:43Speaker 3: and easy.
- 24:44Speaker 5: What about punitive damages you get? You don't get. No,
- 24:48Speaker 5: you don't get punitive.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Damage as my butt my butt pots saw and burned.
- 24:56Speaker 5: Yeah no, punitive damages don't fly red. I can't sit
- 25:02Speaker 5: down pilded of damages. I know, I know.
- 25:05Speaker 3: So and what do you do you have? Show pictures
- 25:08Speaker 3: of how seriously ill you are?
- 25:10Speaker 5: Look at it? Look at it? Yeah those are blisters? Yeah?
- 25:14Speaker 3: Down? Yeah, Okay, you get the Italian Red Eye in photos.
- 25:18Speaker 4: Okay, moving on, Amazon will soon literally be dropping off
- 25:25Speaker 4: your packages. Amazon Prime Air is expecting drone delivery service
- 25:32Speaker 4: to be expanded almost five hundred cities and towns across
- 25:36Speaker 4: the US by the end of the year. I don't
- 25:39Speaker 4: think California is included in that just yet. Right now
- 25:41Speaker 4: it's in the seven States. Yeah, yeah, they're huge.
- 25:46Speaker 2: That one one dropped I think it was Texas or
- 25:49Speaker 2: or Florida. They dropped it into the pool.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I saw that yesterday too.
- 25:55Speaker 5: They're working. But Amazon Prime already.
- 25:57Speaker 3: I mean, we will order something at o'clock in the afternoon,
- 26:01Speaker 3: by five it arrives. And that's now with Amazon Prime,
- 26:05Speaker 3: they're saying half an hour delivery.
- 26:08Speaker 5: It takes longer to get a pizza delivered. It takes
- 26:11Speaker 5: longer to get in the car and drive. So yeah,
- 26:13Speaker 5: it's crazy, all right.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Plane crash Unfortunately, this was a chartered plane crash that
- 26:21Speaker 2: killed eight and they were out near a very remote
- 26:27Speaker 2: radar site there in western Alaska. So this happened yesterday.
- 26:33Speaker 2: The crash happened at Cape New in Hand Long Range
- 26:39Speaker 2: Radar Site Airport, approximately four hundred and fifty miles west
- 26:43Speaker 2: of Anchorage, Alaska. A huge loss for the military family
- 26:49Speaker 2: there and the communities obviously, so says the Air Force
- 26:55Speaker 2: commander there at the Alaskan Command.
- 26:57Speaker 3: So, yeah, they were doing maintenance. I mean, this was
- 27:01Speaker 3: a normal job. This was not this was not a
- 27:03Speaker 3: tourist trip at all.
- 27:06Speaker 4: Don't mess with polar bears. A guy found that out.
- 27:11Speaker 4: He apparently sounded a fog horn. He was on a
- 27:15Speaker 4: boat that was in the Spalbard Archipelago region and woke
- 27:21Speaker 4: up a polar bear that was slumbering, And the governor
- 27:26Speaker 4: of Spalbard said that that action disturbed the polar bear
- 27:30Speaker 4: and it was done intentionally. And environmental protection laws in
- 27:34Speaker 4: Svalbard state it is prohibited to unnecessarily disturb, lure, or
- 27:38Speaker 4: pursue polar bears. They've been protected since nineteen seventy three.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I wish the guy had done what the other
- 27:46Speaker 3: fellow did in kicking that sea lion. I wish he
- 27:49Speaker 3: had tried kicking the polar bear. That would be a
- 27:52Speaker 3: little disturbing, wouldn't it.
- 27:54Speaker 5: What if you just wanted to give him a coke? Oh, well,
- 27:57Speaker 5: there you go. It's very cute. I think we have
- 28:00Speaker 5: time for one more.
- 28:01Speaker 2: One more hundreds of Boyle Heights residents suffered health problems
- 28:05Speaker 2: apparently after the fire at that cold storage facility, and
- 28:11Speaker 2: you're looking at respiratory infections, I disorders, all these makes
- 28:16Speaker 2: sense and persistent coughing. According to a new studying, The
- 28:19Speaker 2: studies of the Saint John's Community Health Study found that
- 28:23Speaker 2: these symptoms were directly related to toxic exposure and smoke inhalation.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Yeah, there go a few thousand lawsuits going to hit
- 28:33Speaker 3: on that one.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yeah, you're looking at over thirteen hundred patients. Yeah, we're
- 28:38Speaker 2: treated mobile clinics in the LA.
- 28:40Speaker 3: I know it's going to hit in lineage this company.
- 28:44Speaker 3: I don't know if it's going to go bankrupt or not.
- 28:46Speaker 3: And depends how how big their insurance policy is, because
- 28:49Speaker 3: all these companies have insurance, of course, and.
- 28:50Speaker 5: They don't even know if these will be long term suffered.
- 28:54Speaker 3: You know, it all depends on it all depends on
- 28:57Speaker 3: the prognosis. And that's basically I think a lot of time. Guys, boy,
- 29:03Speaker 3: we went through a lot of these today.
- 29:04Speaker 4: Would you don't want to talk about Trump and his
- 29:06Speaker 4: former fixer getting back together?
- 29:07Speaker 5: Okay, we can do that, Amy, Let's do it quickly.
- 29:10Speaker 4: Okay, So President Trump and Michael Cohen, his former lawyer
- 29:14Speaker 4: known as his fixer, they were thick as thieves, and
- 29:17Speaker 4: then they broke up.
- 29:18Speaker 2: And then.
- 29:20Speaker 4: Michael Cohen went to jail and was convicted, and he
- 29:24Speaker 4: I and Trump got into huge, huge disagreements and we're
- 29:28Speaker 4: no longer friends. Well, they were on his show yesterday
- 29:32Speaker 4: on the radio, getting back together to talk about how
- 29:35Speaker 4: Trump said Cohen was basically a political pawn.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Yeah, he's changed his mind.
- 29:41Speaker 3: And then Colin during what Trump of course called him
- 29:44Speaker 3: all kinds of names which Trump does. My favorite one
- 29:47Speaker 3: is what Cohen called Trump a cheeto dusted cartoon villain.
- 29:51Speaker 5: You don't get better than that, You really don't.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Wow, does he have writers?
- 29:58Speaker 4: Tito dusted cartoon villain?
- 30:00Speaker 5: Who is that fabulous?
- 30:01Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 30:01Speaker 5: It doesn't. It doesn't get better than that. All right, guys,
- 30:03Speaker 5: we are done. You've been listening to The Bill Handle Show.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Catch My Show Monday through Friday, six am to nine am,
- 30:10Speaker 3: and anytime on demand on the iHeartRadio app
