  Hello, and thank you for joining us in this broadcast of Woman at the Well Ministries.

  And we're going to speak out of a verse, Isaiah chapter 43 and verse 1.

  It says, But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob,
• 1:16
  and he that formed thee, O Israel.
• 1:19
  Fear not, for I have redeemed thee. I have called thee by thy name.
• 1:23
  Thou art mine. It seems that the longer we live, the more we run into people
• 1:30
  who try to kind of shove us down and belittle us.
• 1:34
  And it seems that even life itself can sometimes cause us to be discouraged.
• 1:38
  And the Bible says that we're not to be weary in well-doing.
• 1:41
  And that in itself is something that we should really consider and that we should put upon our lives.
• 1:48
  But it seems that sometimes that's difficult because it's just a commandment
• 1:53
  that tells us. And I don't mean just a commandment.
• 1:55
  I mean, it's something that tells us what we should do, but it doesn't really give us.

  Something to hold on to to allow us to
• 2:03
  be inspired and motivated to feel accepted
• 2:07
  you see the bible says that we are to be a peculiar people
• 2:10
  so if we are living as christians
• 2:13
  we don't exactly fit in and this can sometimes cause us to feel like we're unimportant
• 2:20
  that peculiar person zealous of good works can sometimes feel just a little
• 2:25
  awkward and out of place and when you sit in the congregations of the world,
• 2:31
  and when you're within the people and amongst them.
• 2:34
  You'll hear them talk about things, and you'll begin to feel maybe just a little
• 2:38
  bit inferior, because perhaps you haven't achieved the worldly successes that
• 2:43
  they have, and perhaps you haven't achieved the worldly notoriety,
• 2:47
  and that plays on your mind, but it won't touch your heart if it's absolutely bathed in Jesus Christ.

  If you really realize that our purpose on earth is
• 2:58
  to glorify God and not ourselves if you really
• 3:00
  understand that we are pilgrims traveling through
• 3:03
  this journey and that our
• 3:06
  real reward is on the other side but even
• 3:10
  that in itself sometimes is not enough to keep us from
• 3:13
  being discouraged but isaiah chapter 43 and
• 3:16
  verse 1 gives us something that we can hold on
• 3:19
  to that will absolutely positively keep us
• 3:22
  from being discouraged because the god of the
• 3:25
  universe the god of all creation calls
• 3:29
  us by name we know this because he says
• 3:32
  that he's no respecter of persons that he's the same god
• 3:35
  yesterday today and forever and in this verse he speaks to jacob but as we begin
• 3:40
  to look at this verse and we began to take it apart there are so many wonderful
• 3:45
  nuggets of truth in there that we began to just explode with joy because what
• 3:51
  we see says the The Lord created thee. We weren't an accident.
• 3:55
  You weren't a mistake.
• 3:58
  You weren't an afterthought. You weren't a byproduct.
• 4:02
  You were created by the God of the universe. He thinks about you.
• 4:07
  He prays for you. And my dear friend, he created you.
• 4:11
  He had a plan for you, we're told in Jeremiah 29, 11.
• 4:14
  And you are not just a happenstance, but you are a created being by the God
• 4:20
  of the universe, one in which he sent his entire son, his only begotten son,
• 4:25
  to lay his life down for you.
• 4:27
  And the son loved you so much that he gave his life willingly that we might go free.
• 4:33
  You are a created being by the God of the universe.
• 4:37
  As we move a little bit further in the verse, it says that he formed thee.
• 4:40
  I don't know about you, but just about every morning when I get up,
• 4:44
  I see something else I don't like about how I look.
• 4:46
  And somehow or another, I might get over what it bugged me yesterday,
• 4:49
  but when I look in the mirror today, there'll surely be something else.
• 4:53
  And that gray hair that I plucked out yesterday somehow seems
• 4:56
  to spring three or four more somewhere else in my hair and I realized that this
• 5:00
  is a defeated process I can't continue to pull it out not only does it hurt
• 5:05
  I'm a little bit afraid of what's going to happen in the end sometimes we don't
• 5:09
  like our shape other times we don't like our height I spent most of my life wanting to be taller.
• 5:15
  When I was a child, I desperately wanted to be 8'7". Now, if God had ever answered
• 5:19
  those prayers, wouldn't I have been a funny-looking thing today?
• 5:23
  8'7 and a female walking around in the world. Talk about being,
• 5:27
  you know, kind of odd and talk about not being the right fit-in person.
• 5:33
  That would have been that 8'7 first grader. But you see, God knows these things
• 5:37
  and God forms us exactly the way He wants.
• 5:40
  And my dear friend, let me tell you, I am not a tall person.
• 5:44
  But I'm the exact height he wants me to be.
• 5:47
  Now I wish I could tell you that I'm probably the exact weight that he wants me to be.
• 5:51
  What I can tell you is, is that I am the exact build that he wants me to be
• 5:56
  because he formed me that way.
• 5:58
  And how I choose to take care of my body and how I choose to eat and how I choose
• 6:03
  to exercise can possibly alter that form at times.
• 6:06
  But the truth of the matter is he formed me which
• 6:10
  meant he took time he had an idea he
• 6:13
  had a concept and he took it to fruition and
• 6:16
  he created me from his own mold and.
• 6:20
  He formed me into the being that i am that means he loves me and you say well
• 6:25
  how do you get that out of that because he took time to consider he could have
• 6:30
  made me any way he wanted he didn't just speak to a bunch of dirt and just throw
• 6:36
  it out there and see how it all came together and say, wow, that's Kim Miller.
• 6:40
  He didn't do that because he
• 6:41
  told me in Jeremiah 1 5, before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee.
• 6:48
  He formed me the way he wanted. And perhaps the most beautiful part of Isaiah
• 6:53
  43 1 is further in to the verse.
• 6:57
  He says, fear not, I have redeemed thee.
• 7:00
  You see, he created me and he formed me. And he absolutely positively knew that
• 7:06
  he was going to have to redeem me because he knew that I would have a sin debt I could not pay.
• 7:12
  And Romans 3.23 says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

  But he says, listen, fear not.
• 7:19
  I've redeemed thee. I take you back to Luke chapter 2 and verse 11 when he says,
• 7:24
  for unto you is born this day in the city of David, a savior,
• 7:27
  which is Christ the Lord.
• 7:30
  So back on that day on February the 2nd in 1965, when I came into this world,
• 7:35
  I was a created being that he had formed and he already had redeemed me if I
• 7:41
  would but just accept his gift of salvation.
• 7:45
  The price for my sins had already been paid, but I had to receive that gift of salvation.
• 7:50
  And the Bible says in Romans 10, 13 that whosoever shall call upon the name
• 7:54
  of the Lord shall be saved.
• 7:56
  I am a somebody because I am a created being formed by God who already took care of redeeming me.
• 8:03
  All I had to do was receive the free gift and I have nothing to fear.
• 8:07
  But perhaps some of the sweetest words written in the scriptures to my ears
• 8:12
  that penetrates my heart is found in the verse that he says,
• 8:17
  I have called thee by thy name.
• 8:19
  You see, my redemption is sure. And it wasn't a corporate salvation.
• 8:26
  He didn't say, okay, I'm going to call all of the short people in the world
• 8:31
  and they're going to be saved.
• 8:33
  No, he said, I've called everybody. And he sends the Holy Spirit to knock on your heart's door.
• 8:37
  And you have the opportunity to open that door and let him sup with you,
• 8:41
  as he tells us in Revelations.
• 8:42
  And allow him to come and be the Savior, the Redeemer of your soul.
• 8:47
  But it's personal. He came to Kim Miller, a young girl at the age of five.
• 8:52
  And he spoke to her and he made that relationship real. and he
• 8:55
  made that relationship personal and he called me
• 8:58
  by name and he said after he redeemed me
• 9:01
  when i received his salvation thou art mine for you i died he calls you by name
• 9:08
  you see sometimes we get lumped in as christians and that's a wonderful group
• 9:12
  of people to be associated with sometimes we are lumped at the church we go
• 9:17
  to and we'll be members of that congregation.
• 9:20
  And for most of us, that's a wonderful thing to be.
• 9:23
  But you know what? On that day, when I am standing face to face with Jesus Christ,
• 9:29
  it's not going to be come forward, all you Christians.
• 9:32
  It's not going to be come forward, all you members of my church.
• 9:35
  It's not going to be come forward, all the people that sit on the third row.
• 9:38
  Do you know what it's going to be?
• 9:40
  He's going to open up the Lamb's Book of Life. And he's going to look down that page.
• 9:44
  And he's going to see my name written there. And he's gonna say, well done, I hope...
• 9:51
  But he's going to say, enter in into the joy of your salvation.
• 9:54
  For you once were lost, but now you're found.
• 9:57
  And I wrote your name down here when you received the free gift.
• 9:59
  I created you for such a time as this.
• 10:04
  You see, the Lord created me with heaven on his mind.
• 10:08
  Did you hear me? The Lord formed me with heaven on his mind.
• 10:13
  The Lord redeemed me with me on his mind when he went to the cross of Calvary.
• 10:19
  And that redemptive seal was stamped on my heart when I received the precious
• 10:24
  blood of Jesus Christ flowing through my heart, covering the multitude of sins,
• 10:28
  those that I would commit, those that I had committed, and those that I was committing right then.
• 10:34
  For the Lord God died once for all, that we all might know the pleasant joy of being a child of God.
• 10:42
  So my friend, the next time the world may want to knock you down,
• 10:46
  and the next time that the world may make you try to think that you're unimportant.
• 10:51
  I want you to know something.
• 10:53
  He's going to call you by name. If you know him as Savior, and I want you to
• 10:57
  know something, if you don't know him as Savior, he's tugging on your heart's door right now.
• 11:02
  And the Holy Spirit is dealing with you personally.
• 11:05
  Because he created you, he formed you, and he didn't spend all that time for
• 11:09
  you to go to hell. So he spanned the gap that you would go to heaven.
• 11:13
  But he said, you must believe in me.
• 11:15
  For the Bible says without faith, it is impossible to please him.
• 11:18
  And you must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
• 11:22
  My friend, he calls us by name.
• 11:26
  And he says, thou art mine.
• 11:37
