- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. Ever since the announcement of the Epstein Files
- 0:08and the scandal reigniting, we have seen the Trump administration
- 0:13do everything in their power to get the conversation to
- 0:16move somewhere, anywhere else. And some people even think that
- 0:20the wars that are being fought or have been fought
- 0:24throughout the last year or so are nothing more than
- 0:27a diversion from the Epstein Files. And now people are
- 0:31calling them the Epstein wars. And when you start looking
- 0:35at what we gained from what happened over in Iran,
- 0:39you got to ask yourself what was the point? Now
- 0:43they'll tell you, well, the straight of Horror moves is open,
- 0:45but it was open before we attacked Iran. So that's
- 0:49a mood point. Well, they're not gonna have nuclear weapons,
- 0:53sure they're not. Oh and by the way, they're getting
- 0:56three hundred billion dollars for what billion. Infrastructure was attacked,
- 1:02only military outposts and military facilities. So why are we
- 1:06giving them three hundred billion dollars? Especially after all that
- 1:09talk about the pallets of cash that were being shipped
- 1:12to the Iranians during Obama's tenure. I'm old enough to
- 1:16remember that. But now, all of a sudden, we're going
- 1:19to put three hundred billion into Iran and for what. Now, Look,
- 1:24if we would have destroyed Tehran, you know, rubled it,
- 1:27then yeah, that would be our responsibility, no doubt about it.
- 1:32But that didn't happen. So what's the motivation for ponying
- 1:36up three hundred billion? How about we get three hundred
- 1:39billion for our infrastructure here in America. That might be
- 1:42a good idea, but God forbid, our lives are made
- 1:45easier or better. It's always about, you know, the boogeyman
- 1:49somewhere else. Meanwhile, we have plenty of problems right here
- 1:52at home. So the question is we're all these wars,
- 1:57all these military operations a diversion or were they legitimate
- 2:02campaigns that furthered American interests around the world? And if
- 2:05that was their goal, they failed miserably because the United
- 2:10States has never been on shake your footing around the world.
- 2:13And according to David Rothkoff, the author of this article,
- 2:17every single one of these military engagements is nothing more
- 2:21than a distraction. Today's article was published by The Daily
- 2:25Beast and the headline Strongman Trump's forever wars. I'll come
- 2:29back to Jeffrey Epstein. This article was authored by David Rothkoff.
- 2:36Once we had wars of choice, Today we have wars
- 2:39of distraction called the catastrophically misguided war in Iran and
- 2:43the Blink and you missed It war with Venezuela, the
- 2:46Epstein wars. Look is he wrong at this point? I
- 2:53kind of agree, like we gain nothing with Iran. Like
- 2:57if we would have had some kind of tangible gains
- 3:00as a society, as a nation and we weren't dealing
- 3:02with somebody like Trump, I would laugh this article away.
- 3:06But after all we've learned all we know. Do you
- 3:10really put it past the Trump administration to start these
- 3:13military operations as a distraction. I don't. These were not
- 3:18wars fought to defend US national security. They were not
- 3:21wars fought to advance our national interest. They were wars
- 3:25conjured up not by generals or season foreign policy advisors,
- 3:29but by a frightened old man and his public relations
- 3:31team to distract from a scandal he fears will be
- 3:35his undoing And look, I don't doubt for a minute
- 3:38that Trump is very fearful of the Epstein story. Look,
- 3:42at his reaction. He's never reacted like this to anything else,
- 3:45including Russia. So when you have somebody acting out the
- 3:49way Donald Trump is acting out, usually that means there's
- 3:53some there there. Now, I'm not going to sit here
- 3:55and tell you that there's evidence that Donald Trump was
- 3:57partaking in the abuse. We don't have any smoking gun
- 4:02evidence of that. Now. People have said some pretty disturbing
- 4:07things about Donald Trump's behavior, but we don't have that
- 4:10smoking gun. What I think we do have, though, is
- 4:14an obvious cover up, And I think that all you
- 4:17have to do is follow along from the beginning here
- 4:20and at every step of the way. The cover up
- 4:23has been ongoing, and the cover up has been growing.
- 4:27They're massive human, economic, and geopolitical costs being undertaken to
- 4:30serve the narrow self interest of not a nation, but
- 4:33that man, the president of the United States. Now, look,
- 4:37we also have to take everything that we hear from
- 4:40the Deli Beast with a grain of salt. They certainly
- 4:42don't like Donald Trump, right, so that is something that
- 4:47kind of shades the way they report this. But that said,
- 4:51does that take away from the truth of the matter.
- 4:55Does that take away from the fact that these wars
- 4:58gained us nothing. Now, I guess you can make the
- 5:01case down in Venezuela. They got Madero and it was
- 5:04a pretty bloodless type of situation. Right, Okay, cool Madero
- 5:09not a great guy, But is he this criminal that
- 5:13they're making him out to be. He's the worst world
- 5:16leader we have. I mean, come on, where does it end?
- 5:21So Venezuela, at least they have some kind of footing, right,
- 5:25all right, we charged Madero, we went swooped him up.
- 5:28Now we're going to try him in court. But Iran,
- 5:31what do we got going on here? What are they doing?
- 5:34What's the goal? What's the endgame? Well, the endgame started
- 5:39out as no nuclear weapons. The endgame started out as well,
- 5:42we're going to get rid of the regime. Now, all
- 5:44of a sudden we see Trump capitulating to Iran three
- 5:48hundred billion to help rebuild the country. So geopolitically speaking,
- 5:53we gain nothing. Now, that doesn't mean that the United
- 5:55States military didn't blast these dudes to Kingdom come. They did,
- 6:00But that's not enough to get it done. There's never
- 6:03been regime change from the air. If you want to
- 6:06change the regime, you have to have boots on the ground,
- 6:09and we know that Trump's never going to do that.
- 6:11So at the end of the day, who exactly did
- 6:14this operation serve not the American people? Well, the one
- 6:18person that's standing to gain the most, certainly Donald Trump.
- 6:22And now, of course you have people out here talking
- 6:23about the great victory. I mean really the great victory.
- 6:27This is capitulation. This is basically Donald Trump bending the
- 6:32knee to the IRGC. That's basically what happened here, all
- 6:38because he didn't want to deal with the Epstein matter.
- 6:42By the way, the Epstein matter is not going away.
- 6:45I've told you that from the beginning. And they can
- 6:48throw out all the wars they want, all the alien
- 6:50invasions they want, whatever. We're not going to be distracted
- 6:54at this point. We've come too far. And like I've
- 6:56told you, the boats have been burned on the shore.
- 6:58There is no going back. The facts of what has
- 7:01unfolded to date in these wars makes us clear Trump
- 7:04and his team could not coherently express rationale for entering
- 7:07into either military operation. They offered many possibilities and spouted
- 7:13many blatant lies, but shifted between them carelessly as if
- 7:16they did not matter, because well, they did not matter.
- 7:21And look, I think now that we have, you know,
- 7:24a few miles put between us and the start of
- 7:27all of this, it becomes more and more apparent. And
- 7:31you know, I always tell you I don't like to
- 7:33jump to conclusions. I like to wait and get as
- 7:36much information as we can. But it's not looking good
- 7:39for the Trump administration when it comes to the war
- 7:41in Iran and the war in Venezuela. To me, and look,
- 7:45this is my personal opinion, it looks like a distraction.
- 7:50The leaders of Venezuela were corrupt, criminal even, but they
- 7:54were not terrorists. They are not terrorists. They posed no
- 7:57direct threat to the people or territory of the United States.
- 8:01And that's true too. Now you can make the case
- 8:04that Venezuela was moving drugs, and they were, but not Ventanyl.
- 8:09Venezuela was a gigantic hub for cocaine. And what would
- 8:14happen is you would have the cartels bring the cocaine
- 8:16to Venezuela, and once they crossed the Venezuelan border, the
- 8:20Venezuelan military would offer them protection and then they'd get
- 8:24pieced off. So once the load got into Venezuela, it
- 8:28was protected by the government. They'd bring it to port
- 8:32and then they'd ship it to America, or they'd ship
- 8:34it to Europe. Whatever. Now, look, I'm not going to
- 8:36tell you that cocaine is great. It's not. But it's
- 8:40certainly not fentanyl. And if you were looking to go
- 8:43after somebody, you should have been going after the cartels.
- 8:48Iran was nowhere near acquiring a nuclear weapon. Well, I
- 8:51don't know about that. I mean, honestly, I have no
- 8:54idea they could have been. Let's not act like Iran
- 8:58is some kind of great administration, great you know, group
- 9:01of people who don't have any designs on being mad men.
- 9:05They most certainly do, so don't take this as me
- 9:08saying that Iran are the good guys here. I don't
- 9:11believe that. I think Iran and the IRGC should be decimated,
- 9:16but that was never the goal. Unfortunately, that was never
- 9:19the goal. And the people of Iran, they're the ones
- 9:22that are going to suffer. Now the hornet's nest has
- 9:25been kicked, and now Trump's retreating and leaving the Uranian
- 9:29people to their own faith. And then you wonder why
- 9:32people hate Americans. It had no ability to deliver such
- 9:35a weapon. There was no imminent threat, and indeed, to
- 9:38the degree to which Iran had moved closer to gaining
- 9:41the ability to manufacture a weapon. It was in large
- 9:45part due to actions taken by the president during his
- 9:48first term, when he tore up the effective successful nuclear
- 9:51agreement struck during the Obama administration. Bullshit, that wasn't working either. Okay, stop,
- 9:58don't try their revisionist history. That deal that Obama made
- 10:02not good. Wasn't a good deal. If anybody thinks that
- 10:05Iran wasn't still working towards building a bomb, they're crazy.
- 10:09They were. That's their goal. Do you know why? Because
- 10:13they see what's going on in North Korea. They see
- 10:16that Kim John Wund's crazy ass got himself a bomb
- 10:19and now he can pretty much do whatever the fuck
- 10:22he wants. Right nobody's messing with them. So Iran sees
- 10:25that and they want to do the same thing. So
- 10:28let's not sugarcoat that and act like Iran doesn't have
- 10:31designs on having a bomb. The operation in Venezuela began
- 10:35with the murder on the high Seas of occupants of
- 10:37small craft the US alleged were trafficking in drugs. We
- 10:41attacked them with no evidence of these alleged crimes. We
- 10:44administered the death penalty to the occupants of the boats
- 10:47without due process. In some cases, we did so consistent
- 10:51with orders that were in violation of international law and
- 10:55the Military Code of Justice. Well, international law really means nothing.
- 10:59Let's be real, Okay, there's nobody in the world that's
- 11:05going to press the case against the United States, So
- 11:08just cut the bullshit now against Military Code of Justice.
- 11:13I'm not too sure. I have no clue what that is,
- 11:15so I won't make pretend I know. But what I
- 11:18will say is this. If people are trafficking drugs and
- 11:22they're bringing in loads of cocaine, and you know that
- 11:25they have loads of cocaine, well you should arrest them, right.
- 11:30I don't know why you're blowing the boat up. What's
- 11:31the point of that? Now? If you're going to incapacitate
- 11:34the boat, great, but why not just arrest these people?
- 11:38When we snatched the leader of Venezuela on a thin
- 11:41legal pretext, we then allowed as regime to remain in
- 11:44place if they would direct some of their oil revenue
- 11:46to US or the interest identified by the President as beneficiaries.
- 11:52It's still unclear who is making the money produced by
- 11:55these sales. But the nature of the US operation is
- 11:58crystal clear. It too was a crime. It was a
- 12:01foreign policy as the mafia would conduct it, a shakedown,
- 12:04an extortion racket. I mean, is he wrong we left
- 12:08the regime in place. I thought there were all bad people,
- 12:11so it was just Maduro doing all of it. The
- 12:14attacks on Iran were undertaken under false pretenses, contrary to
- 12:18the Constitution and the letter of the War Powers Act.
- 12:22Civilians and civilian targets were victims in clear violation of
- 12:26international law. I have my doubts about that, Okay. I
- 12:31don't really believe the propaganda coming from the ground, just
- 12:33like I don't believe the propaganda coming from the United States.
- 12:39The fog of war is real, and all these different
- 12:42people making these accusations, I just don't know what's true
- 12:45and what's not. But targeting of civilian infrastructure, that's definitely
- 12:51not happening. We've seen the pictures, we've seen the video,
- 12:54So you can say that that happened, and sure, I'm
- 12:57sure that civilians did get killed, But to say that
- 13:00they were targeted in a malicious manner, I don't think
- 13:03I buy that. Now with that said, I don't think
- 13:06it really matters if you're on the ground and a
- 13:08bomb comes through your roof, right, doesn't matter one bit.
- 13:12In other words, the President chose to unleash a series
- 13:15of illegal wars to distract from the possible crimes that
- 13:18might be revealed as part of the Epstein investigation. Clearly
- 13:22he's petrified of what the facts of that case will reveal.
- 13:25He's devoted the full resources of the Department of Justice
- 13:28to bury the truth about Epstein. He had the Deputy
- 13:32Attorney General cut a deal with Epstein sex trafficking co
- 13:35conspirator Glanne Maxwell and ignored the law passed by Congress
- 13:39demanding all files be turned over to congressional investigators. Well,
- 13:43that's true. There's no doubt there's a cover up underway
- 13:47here in America. Now, if you want to believe that
- 13:50the wars are part of it as a distraction, I
- 13:53think there's some evidence that points in that direction. He
- 13:56apparently ordered the serial obstruction of justice, and then he
- 14:00if you're to reward that dutiful DOJ Number two, Todd
- 14:02Blanche with a nomination to be top dog at the agency,
- 14:07why go to that trouble if there was nothing to hide,
- 14:09why take the risk? What could be so grave that
- 14:12it warranted such behavior? Well, we know, we know. The
- 14:17question is just how deep Trump's involved. That's the real question, right,
- 14:24how deep are the ties and how much did he
- 14:27know or was he involved in when it comes to
- 14:30his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, And I think that's the
- 14:34investigation that has to take place. The President's behavior has
- 14:39only simulated interest in the case. Allegations against him made
- 14:43under oath suggested that he had committed terrible crimes. The
- 14:47public and members of his own party were turning against him,
- 14:50angered that he did not release the full truth about
- 14:53the Epstein case, as he once promised to do. Clearly,
- 14:58trying to bury the case was not working, so he
- 15:00tried something else, anything else instead. The first of the
- 15:04Epstein Wars may well have been the ones he launched
- 15:07against American cities, sending in troops to combat illusory threats,
- 15:11killing US citizens in the process, spending millions, depleting the
- 15:15resources that should have been used for our defense, achieving
- 15:19nothing but mayhem and more serial violations of the law.
- 15:23The second Epstein War was Venezuela. Epstein War III is
- 15:27this war that Trump is now desperately trying to wind
- 15:30down in Iran, that once like the invasion of our cities,
- 15:34had backfired. He had sent the global economy into a tailspin,
- 15:38drove up inflation, weakened our alliances, spent tens of billions
- 15:42of dollars, produced devastation that led to the deaths of
- 15:45more than a dozen US troops. We're not sure of
- 15:48how many plus thousands of Iranians and Lebanese citizens, most
- 15:52of them innocent victims. Well, I don't know, Okay, we
- 15:56don't have an accounting. What are we going to go on?
- 15:59What Iran has to say. I don't believe them either.
- 16:02When are people going to get hip to the fact
- 16:04that there are no good guys here? None of these
- 16:07people are good. None of them care about you, None
- 16:10of them care about Lebanon, None of them care about Iran.
- 16:12They care about their own bank accounts. None of the
- 16:16objectives the US alleged were the reasons for the war
- 16:19were achieved. If there was regime change, it was to
- 16:22replace a bad regime with a worse, more hardline one.
- 16:26Iran's nuclear capability was not obliterated as promised. Neither were
- 16:30Iran's missiles or drone capabilities, nor the effectiveness of its
- 16:35proxy network throughout the Middle East. Rather than weakening Iran,
- 16:39it's emerged with more leverage over the strait of horror
- 16:41moves and thereby the global economy. Our alliances are weaker,
- 16:46Irans are stronger. And look, I hate to admit it,
- 16:50but it's true. Trump got dog walked, and that MoU
- 16:55absolutely embarrassing. Talk about a capitulation, and to these people,
- 16:59of all people, absolutely devastating geopolitically speaking. And now the
- 17:05US seems to be suing for peace, desperate to get
- 17:08out of the war, proposing to pay off Iran in
- 17:10exchange for just talking with US. Indeed, in France this week,
- 17:15Trump actually said that perhaps it was not even worth
- 17:17negotiating about the fate of Iran's enriched uranium stockpiles. In
- 17:22his view, now that they have promised not to seek
- 17:25nuclear weapons, the rest of it is irrelevant. Except you see,
- 17:28Iran first promised never to seek nuclear weapons in nineteen
- 17:32sixty six, it repeated that promise in writing in the
- 17:36twenty fifteen accord, Trump tore up Indeed, no one has
- 17:40done more to open the door to motivate Iranian progress
- 17:44toward the ability to produce such a weapon than Trump.
- 17:47Perhaps someday he will be made a hero of the
- 17:49Iranian Revolution for his efforts while he loves that part
- 17:53of the world. Has this dude ever met an oil
- 17:55baron he wasn't in love with? Has he ever met
- 17:59somebody over in the Middle East that he hasn't wanted
- 18:02to be friends with? Seems like his type of people.
- 18:07All of this begs the question if the war was
- 18:10actually important for national security reasons, Why accept such a
- 18:13humiliating defeat. Why give up and walk away? Why reward
- 18:17Iran in the process with cash in a stronger position
- 18:21in order to help make it go away? Good questions,
- 18:24all of them. The only conclusion one can draw is
- 18:28that none of the usual reasons we decide whether to
- 18:30fight or withdraw mattered this time. The war was useful
- 18:35if it distracted from Jeffrey Epstein, and not useful when
- 18:39it became a problem rivaling the Epstein problem. Trump wants
- 18:43to turn the page. Indications, however, are that his goals
- 18:47remain the same. His next moves may well be the
- 18:50next Epstein war. Cuba has been suggested by the President
- 18:54as a likely next target. Greenland remains a possibility, even
- 18:58Panama could end up on the president hit list. None
- 19:02of these conflicts are in the US interest. All are
- 19:04in service of Trump's pr agenda, and, from time to time,
- 19:07if it can be arranged, his ever present search for grift.
- 19:12This man who literally wraps himself in the flag and
- 19:14who along with his aides regularly touts their love of
- 19:18the military, views the entire massive US defense apparatus as
- 19:22a prop a personal plaything, an entity that exists not
- 19:26to defend the country, but rather to defend the president himself.
- 19:31Whatever the cost, whatever the lasting damage done, doesn't matter,
- 19:36as long as people do not find out any more
- 19:38of the dark truth about who Donald Trump is, what
- 19:41he has done in his past, and why are worst
- 19:44fears about him? May not go far enough in detailing
- 19:47his depravity and contempt for the law and human decency. Now, look,
- 19:52there's a lot to unpack with that article, right, but
- 19:55I think that the gist of it is valid. And
- 19:59when you talk about distract actions, what better distractions than wars?
- 20:03So what do you folks think? Do you think that
- 20:05these wars are nothing more than part of the cover
- 20:08up or do you think that the author here is
- 20:10getting a bit ahead of themselves. Shoot me some emails
- 20:13and let me know. All the information that goes with
- 20:16this episode can be found in the description box.
