  towns
• 1:18
  of
• 1:18
  Tyre
• 1:19
  and
• 1:19
  Sidon.
• 1:20
  They
• 1:21
  had
• 1:21
  come
• 1:21
  both
• 1:21
  to
• 1:21
  hear
• 1:22
  him
• 1:22
  and
• 1:22
  to
• 1:22
  be
• 1:22
  cured
• 1:23
  of
• 1:23
  their
• 1:23
  diseases.
• 1:25
  Those
• 1:25
  disturbed
• 1:26
  by
• 1:26
  evil
• 1:26
  spirits
• 1:26
  were
• 1:27
  healed.
• 1:28
  Everyone
• 1:28
  was
• 1:29
  trying
• 1:29
  to
• 1:29
  touch
• 1:29
  him.
• 1:29
  So
• 1:30
  much
• 1:30
  energy
• 1:31
  surging
• 1:31
  from
• 1:32
  him,
• 1:32
  so
• 1:32
  many
• 1:32
  people
• 1:33
  healed.
• 1:35
  Then
• 1:35
  he
• 1:35
  spoke.
• 1:37
  You're
• 1:37
  blessed
• 1:38
  when
• 1:38
  you've
• 1:38
  lost
• 1:39
  it
• 1:39
  all.
• 1:40
  God's
• 1:40
  kingdom
• 1:41
  is
• 1:41
  there
• 1:41
  for
• 1:41
  the
• 1:41
  finding.
• 1:42
  You're
• 1:43
  blessed
• 1:43
  when
• 1:44
  you're
• 1:44
  ravenously
• 1:45
  hungry,
• 1:46
  then
• 1:47
  you're
• 1:47
  ready
• 1:47
  for
• 1:47
  the
• 1:48
  messianic
• 1:48
  meal.
• 1:50
  You're
• 1:50
  blessed
• 1:51
  when
• 1:51
  the
• 1:51
  tears
• 1:52
  flow
• 1:52
  freely.
• 1:54
  Joy
• 1:55
  comes
• 1:55
  in
• 1:55
  the
• 1:55
  morning.
• 1:57
  Count
• 1:57
  yourself
• 1:58
  blessed
• 1:58
  every
• 1:58
  time
• 1:59
  someone
• 1:59
  cuts
• 2:00
  you
• 2:00
  down
• 2:00
  or
• 2:00
  throws
• 2:01
  you
• 2:01
  out.
• 2:01
  Every
• 2:02
  time
• 2:02
  someone
• 2:02
  smears
• 2:03
  or
• 2:03
  blackens
• 2:04
  your
• 2:04
  name
• 2:04
  to
• 2:04
  discredit
• 2:05
  me.
• 2:06
  What
• 2:06
  it
• 2:06
  means
• 2:07
  is
• 2:07
  that
• 2:07
  the
• 2:07
  truth
• 2:07
  is
• 2:08
  too
• 2:08
  close
• 2:08
  for
• 2:08
  comfort
• 2:09
  and
• 2:09
  that
• 2:09
  that
• 2:10
  person
• 2:10
  is
• 2:11
  uncomfortable.
• 2:13
  You
• 2:13
  can
• 2:13
  be
• 2:13
  glad
• 2:13
  when
• 2:13
  that
• 2:14
  happens.
• 2:14
  Skip
• 2:15
  like
• 2:15
  a
• 2:15
  lamb
• 2:15
  if
• 2:16
  you
• 2:16
  like,
• 2:16
  for
• 2:17
  even
• 2:17
  though
• 2:17
  they
• 2:17
  don't
• 2:18
  like
• 2:18
  it,
• 2:18
  I
• 2:18
  do.
• 2:19
  And
• 2:20
  all
• 2:20
  heaven
• 2:20
  applauds
• 2:22
  and
• 2:22
  I
• 2:22
  know
• 2:22
  that
• 2:23
  you
• 2:23
  are
• 2:23
  in
• 2:23
  good
• 2:23
  company.
• 2:24
  My
• 2:25
  preachers
• 2:25
  and
• 2:25
  witnesses
• 2:26
  have
• 2:26
  always
• 2:26
  been
• 2:27
  treated
• 2:27
  like
• 2:27
  this.
• 2:29
  Give
• 2:29
  away
• 2:30
  your
• 2:30
  life,
• 2:32
  but
• 2:32
  it's
• 2:32
  trouble
• 2:33
  ahead
• 2:33
  if
• 2:33
  you
• 2:33
  think
• 2:33
  you've
• 2:34
  made
• 2:34
  it.
• 2:35
  What
• 2:35
  you
• 2:35
  have
• 2:36
  is
• 2:36
  all
• 2:36
  you
• 2:36
  ever
• 2:37
  get.
• 2:38
  And
• 2:38
  it's
• 2:38
  trouble
• 2:38
  ahead
• 2:39
  if
• 2:39
  you're
• 2:39
  satisfied
• 2:40
  with
• 2:40
  yourself.
• 2:41
  Your
• 2:41
  self
• 2:42
  will
• 2:43
  not
• 2:43
  satisfy
• 2:44
  you
• 2:44
  for
• 2:44
  long.
• 2:45
  And
• 2:46
  it's
• 2:46
  trouble
• 2:47
  ahead
• 2:47
  if
• 2:47
  you
• 2:47
  think
• 2:47
  life's
• 2:48
  all
• 2:48
  fun
• 2:48
  and
• 2:48
  games.
• 2:49
  There's
• 2:50
  suffering
• 2:51
  to
• 2:51
  be
• 2:51
  met
• 2:52
  and
• 2:52
  you're
• 2:53
  going
• 2:53
  to
• 2:53
  meet
• 2:53
  it.
• 2:54
  There's
• 2:54
  trouble
• 2:55
  ahead
• 2:55
  when
• 2:56
  you
• 2:56
  live
• 2:56
  only
• 2:57
  for
• 2:57
  the
• 2:57
  approval
• 2:58
  of
• 2:58
  others,
• 2:59
  saying
• 2:59
  what
• 3:00
  flatters
• 3:00
  them,
• 3:00
  doing
• 3:01
  what
• 3:01
  indulges
• 3:01
  them.
• 3:03
  Popularity
• 3:03
  contests
• 3:04
  are
• 3:04
  not
• 3:04
  truth
• 3:05
  contests.
• 3:06
  Look
• 3:06
  how
• 3:07
  many
• 3:07
  scoundrel
• 3:07
  preachers
• 3:08
  were
• 3:08
  approved
• 3:09
  by
• 3:09
  your
• 3:09
  ancestors.
• 3:10
  Your
• 3:11
  task
• 3:11
  is
• 3:11
  to
• 3:12
  be
• 3:12
  true,
• 3:13
  not
• 3:14
  popular.
• 3:16
  That
• 3:16
  is
• 3:16
  the
• 3:16
  Reading
• 3:17
  I
• 3:17
  just
• 3:17
  want
• 3:17
  to
• 3:17
  say
• 3:17
  greetings
• 3:19
  to
• 3:19
  the
• 3:19
  good
• 3:19
  people
• 3:20
  who
• 3:20
  are
• 3:20
  listening
• 3:20
  in
• 3:20
  to
• 3:21
  our
• 3:21
  conversation
• 3:22
  here
• 3:22
  today.
• 3:23
  I
• 3:24
  like
• 3:24
  to
• 3:24
  think
• 3:24
  of
• 3:24
  it
• 3:24
  as
• 3:25
  us
• 3:25
  having
• 3:25
  a
• 3:25
  conversation
• 3:26
  over
• 3:26
  a
• 3:26
  cup
• 3:26
  of
• 3:26
  coffee,
• 3:27
  around
• 3:28
  a
• 3:28
  table,
• 3:29
  at
• 3:29
  a
• 3:29
  coffee
• 3:30
  shop,
• 3:30
  or
• 3:30
  in
• 3:30
  perhaps
• 3:31
  in
• 3:31
  someone's
• 3:31
  kitchen.
• 3:33
  I
• 3:33
  want
• 3:33
  to
• 3:33
  thank
• 3:33
  you
• 3:33
  for
• 3:34
  spending
• 3:34
  a
• 3:34
  few
• 3:34
  minutes
• 3:35
  with
• 3:35
  me
• 3:35
  today.
• 3:36
  Our
• 3:37
  reading
• 3:37
  here
• 3:37
  is
• 3:37
  from
• 3:37
  Luke,
• 3:38
  chapter
• 3:39
  6,
• 3:40
  1726,
• 3:40
  and
• 3:41
  from
• 3:41
  the
• 3:41
  message
• 3:42
  is
• 3:42
  often
• 3:42
  called
• 3:42
  the
• 3:42
  sermon
• 3:43
  on
• 3:43
  the
• 3:43
  plane.
• 3:44
  It's
• 3:44
  the
• 3:44
  one
• 3:44
  that
• 3:45
  starts
• 3:45
  with
• 3:45
  you're
• 3:45
  blessed
• 3:46
  and
• 3:47
  then
• 3:47
  flips
• 3:47
  the
• 3:47
  script
• 3:48
  into
• 3:48
  what
• 3:48
  is
• 3:48
  most
• 3:49
  from
• 3:50
  what
• 3:50
  most
• 3:50
  call
• 3:51
  success.
• 3:52
  I'm
• 3:53
  Kevin
• 3:53
  Hughes,
• 3:53
  a
• 3:54
  man
• 3:54
  who's
• 3:54
  been
• 3:54
  married
• 3:54
  for
• 3:54
  over
• 3:54
  34
• 3:55
  years
• 3:56
  and
• 3:56
  raised
• 3:56
  three
• 3:57
  adult
• 3:57
  kids
• 3:57
  who
• 3:57
  have
• 3:58
  turned
• 3:58
  out
• 3:58
  great,
• 3:59
  and
• 3:59
  they're
• 3:59
  carving
• 4:00
  out
• 4:00
  their
• 4:00
  own
• 4:00
  beautiful
• 4:00
  pathways
• 4:01
  in
• 4:01
  life.
• 4:01
  We've
• 4:02
  got
• 4:02
  two
• 4:02
  young
• 4:02
  granddaughters
• 4:03
  who
• 4:04
  think
• 4:04
  I'm
• 4:04
  funny
• 4:04
  because
• 4:05
  I
• 4:05
  tell
• 4:05
  dumb
• 4:05
  dad
• 4:06
  jokes
• 4:07
  and
• 4:07
  they'd
• 4:07
  be
• 4:07
  kind
• 4:08
  of
• 4:08
  groaners,
• 4:08
  if
• 4:08
  you
• 4:09
  will.
• 4:09
  My
• 4:09
  wife
• 4:09
  and
• 4:09
  I
• 4:10
  love
• 4:10
  to
• 4:10
  travel,
• 4:11
  especially
• 4:12
  if
• 4:12
  there's
• 4:12
  woods
• 4:12
  or
• 4:13
  mountains,
• 4:13
  that
• 4:13
  type
• 4:13
  of
• 4:13
  thing.
• 4:14
  Trails
• 4:15
  to
• 4:15
  go.
• 4:16
  And
• 4:16
  yes,
• 4:17
  I'm
• 4:17
  all
• 4:17
  in

• 4:56
  look
• 4:56
  at
• 4:56
  three
• 4:56
  points
• 4:57
  to

• 5:00

• 5:02
  The
• 5:02
  first
• 5:02
  is
• 5:03
  that
• 5:03
  being
• 5:03
  is
• 5:04
  blessing
• 5:05
  is
• 5:05
  a
• 5:06
  solidarity,
• 5:06
  not
• 5:06
  a

• 5:09
  Blessed
• 5:10
  are
• 5:10
  you
• 5:10
  isn't
• 5:11
  congratulating
• 5:12
  hardship,
• 5:13
  it's
• 5:14
  God's
• 5:14
  proximity
• 5:15
  in
• 5:15
  it,
• 5:16
  in
• 5:16
  a
• 5:17
  world
• 5:17
  that
• 5:17
  equates
• 5:17
  blessing
• 5:18
  with
• 5:18
  comfort.
• 5:20
  Luke's
• 5:20
  blessings
• 5:21
  are
• 5:21
  about
• 5:21
  God's
• 5:22
  showing
• 5:22
  up
• 5:22
  first
• 5:23
  to
• 5:23
  those

  the

• 5:25
  those

• 5:27
  for
• 5:27
  justice,
• 5:28
  a
• 5:28
  second

  chance.
• 5:30
  This
• 5:30
  isn't
• 5:31
  suffer
• 5:31
  more
• 5:32
  to
• 5:32
  be
• 5:32
  holy.
• 5:33
  It's
• 5:34
  you
• 5:34
  are
• 5:35
  seen.
• 5:35
  You
• 5:36
  are
• 5:36
  not
• 5:36
  alone.
• 5:37
  That's
• 5:37
  a
• 5:37
  call
• 5:38
  for
• 5:38
  the
• 5:38
  rest
• 5:38
  of
• 5:38
  us
• 5:38
  to
• 5:38
  organize
• 5:39
  our
• 5:39
  lives
• 5:39
  so
• 5:40
  that
• 5:40
  those
• 5:40
  who
• 5:40
  weep
• 5:41
  aren't
• 5:42
  Left
• 5:42

• 5:46
  how
• 5:46
  cancer
• 5:47
  strips
• 5:47
  away
• 5:47
  pretenses,
• 5:48
  I
• 5:49
  see
• 5:49
  how
• 5:49
  honesty
• 5:50
  creates
• 5:50
  belonging
• 5:51
  and
• 5:52
  blessing.
• 5:52
  Looks

  of

• 6:43
  The
