- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables. I'm gonna phrase it. When you
- 0:02Speaker 1: say someone's emotional, there's normally like a negative connotation associated
- 0:06Speaker 1: with it. Yes, So if I was going to say,
- 0:07Speaker 1: women are more emotional, so they cry more like, people
- 0:11Speaker 1: think that's bad, but I think it's a good thing
- 0:12Speaker 1: because they have more releases and more ways to express
- 0:16Speaker 1: themselves in more ways to feel in life. Relatable.
- 0:31Speaker 2: The Relatable podcast is hosted by myself, Jake Craig aka Daddy,
- 0:36Speaker 2: and my partner in crime Oddie Clark aka Mummy. And
- 0:42Speaker 2: Mummy is the one you go to when, let's say,
- 0:45Speaker 2: maybe you're having some troubles with your friends.
- 0:48Speaker 1: You did it wrong, and Jake is Daddy because he's
- 0:51Speaker 1: always late.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Well, I didn't do it wrong.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Did you do it wrong? I don't know.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I think I do. Say is mummy? Didn't you say?
- 0:58Speaker 2: You said mummy is Mummy? Is ODDI ODDI is mummy
- 1:02Speaker 2: for the reason I said prior. And you guys are
- 1:04Speaker 2: the Barties. Obviously we can't forget about you. But as
- 1:07Speaker 2: promised two weeks late, he's done it three weeks late.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Technically, no too.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I've got a letter to myself. I was going to
- 1:18Speaker 2: write it to my older self. Yeah, but I wrote
- 1:20Speaker 2: it to my younger self.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Okay, So what's the age backet you went to?
- 1:24Speaker 2: I think early days podcast? Okay, early days podcast two
- 1:29Speaker 2: years ago? Now I want to go like probably three,
- 1:34Speaker 2: two and a half to three. Okay, yeah, because wow
- 1:38Speaker 2: when you say that. So we've been doing this for
- 1:39Speaker 2: nearly three and a half years, and two years ago
- 1:43Speaker 2: actually is very early days of the podcast. But for
- 1:45Speaker 2: some reason, I feel like I've been doing this for
- 1:46Speaker 2: ten years.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Yeah. I want to be saying, imagine what it actually
- 1:51Speaker 1: feels like to work somewhere for ten years.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Never done it. I don't think I've ever worked anyway
- 1:56Speaker 2: for more than three.
- 1:58Speaker 1: This is my longest term actually say this, actually I
- 2:02Speaker 1: think this is the longest. What would have been on
- 2:03Speaker 1: pile before you is being a tradue very close yeah,
- 2:06Speaker 1: very close jacket. It's a good feeling or a shit feeling?
- 2:09Speaker 1: Is it?
- 2:09Speaker 3: Like?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Oh this feels good? Okay?
- 2:12Speaker 1: Oh wait, do you mean if you did ten years
- 2:14Speaker 1: chop and changing? Now, if you did ten years somewhere like,
- 2:16Speaker 1: oh it's good. I was like, I need to change.
- 2:19Speaker 2: If you enjoy the work, I think it's good. And
- 2:21Speaker 2: especially if you have good bosses, and they reward you
- 2:23Speaker 2: with stuff, you know, pay rises and they give you
- 2:26Speaker 2: like a ten year gift of fifteen year gift or whatever.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I don't know, stuff like that, like probably good if
- 2:32Speaker 2: you enjoy that type of grind, but I clearly didn't
- 2:36Speaker 2: like it.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I want to preface your letter before you say it. Okay,
- 2:42Speaker 1: so last week, you know how you didn't do it? Yeah,
- 2:44Speaker 1: I said to Jake before we started. I was like,
- 2:46Speaker 1: do you want to take fifteen minutes and write a
- 2:48Speaker 1: letter quickly?
- 2:48Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:48Speaker 1: And he goes, nah, we're.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Taking me like two hours. No, that's because, however, on
- 2:53Speaker 2: the spot like that, I can't write. I'm not on
- 2:56Speaker 2: the spot with you. Watch me. I can't run myself
- 2:57Speaker 2: a letter.
- 2:58Speaker 1: And I've just glimpsed and it's fours.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Hey, don't cut me short. Seven fuck you, it's seven
- 3:09Speaker 2: and a half.
- 3:10Speaker 1: So it's six and a half, six and three quarters
- 3:12Speaker 1: fuck you, pretty big text.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I wanted to keep it short and sweet.
- 3:18Speaker 1: All right? How long did this take?
- 3:20Speaker 2: Care? I wrote it on the toilet, But if anyone
- 3:25Speaker 2: knows me, I'm usually there for a while. No. Look
- 3:28Speaker 2: last week when you said, like, you can just run
- 3:30Speaker 2: it right now, if you want it, And I was
- 3:31Speaker 2: like no, no, no, no no, Like I was comparing mind.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I was like comparing mind to yours and thinking, like fun,
- 3:35Speaker 2: I need to do like a good one, like Addie.
- 3:37Speaker 2: If I was to do one like you, actually think
- 3:38Speaker 2: I would have taken an hour when I kept it.
- 3:41Speaker 1: No, that's what makes us good, is like I'm me yeah,
- 3:44Speaker 1: and you're you, Yeah, your mummy. I'm not expecting less serious,
- 3:48Speaker 1: that's who you are as a person.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I thought you adding serious helped me a lot then,
- 3:52Speaker 2: because I thought you were just gonna say. I was
- 3:53Speaker 2: expecting less.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I never expected to go really deep.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I tried to go, yeah, let me read it anyway, okay, less,
- 4:06Speaker 2: I think this might be relatable. Hello Jake, don't laugh,
- 4:11Speaker 2: you don't.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Don't laugh, delivery none of the taste.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Hello Jake. As of right now, we are in your
- 4:22Speaker 2: definition successful. We do the podcast full time, we live
- 4:28Speaker 2: with our girlfriend, we have a dog, and we're moving
- 4:32Speaker 2: to the Gold Coast next year. Actually that kind of did.
- 4:35Speaker 2: At the point in time where I'm saying this, probably
- 4:37Speaker 2: didn't even think I was gonna do that. Yeah, well,
- 4:40Speaker 2: so congrats, you have a lot to look forward to.
- 4:44Speaker 2: But our list of things that defines success has gotten longer,
- 4:48Speaker 2: and I admit it sort of takes away that feeling
- 4:51Speaker 2: of success. Not that I don't yeah, not that I
- 4:54Speaker 2: don't think there is anything wrong with that. Does that
- 4:58Speaker 2: make sense? Because of course it's great to have goals.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I just really want to nail into your head too,
- 5:06Speaker 2: as they say, sit back and smell the roses.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Ah very nice.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Yeah, el sweet. Because I've been talking about it on
- 5:12Speaker 2: Patreon a bit more lately.
- 5:14Speaker 1: It's kind of like the goal posts are always moving.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what it is like, and I think that's fine.
- 5:19Speaker 2: You know, you you reach a goal. I remember a
- 5:22Speaker 2: long time ago saying like, if we get to a
- 5:25Speaker 2: point where the podcast is our full time job, I'm
- 5:28Speaker 2: considered retired. And being at that point, I haven't really
- 5:32Speaker 2: sat back and thought like, obviously I appreciate it, but
- 5:36Speaker 2: that's a goal reached, and it's like I think, I
- 5:40Speaker 2: don't think about how maybe cool it is and like
- 5:44Speaker 2: give ourselves enough kudos or something, just just like that
- 5:49Speaker 2: we actually got there, because I think that we've now
- 5:52Speaker 2: moved what I would say we define as success or
- 5:56Speaker 2: me myself at least, you can't speak few I would
- 5:59Speaker 2: i'd say moved it further or the list has gotten longer,
- 6:02Speaker 2: and I think that's good. But we're still allowed to
- 6:08Speaker 2: be successful because we've already reached the ones that our
- 6:11Speaker 2: past has our past self has set.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, and going like broad spectrum, it's really relatable because
- 6:17Speaker 1: when you're in something, I always describe it as it
- 6:22Speaker 1: doesn't feel real. No, but from an outsider looking in,
- 6:26Speaker 1: like if someone did something amazing they run one hundred kilometers,
- 6:28Speaker 1: like wow, you're a weapon, but the person who run
- 6:30Speaker 1: it doesn't feel like a weapon.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Well no, I think at the end of that race
- 6:34Speaker 2: they actually don't really feel very good at all.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Yeah, but that was just the analogy the same with us,
- 6:38Speaker 1: Like when you're in something, it doesn't feel cool when
- 6:40Speaker 1: you're doing it, No, maybe not no, And when a
- 6:42Speaker 1: good point, it's like before you run the race, you're thinking,
- 6:45Speaker 1: this is going to be so cool that I can
- 6:46Speaker 1: run one hundred kilometers.
- 6:47Speaker 2: And it's about the training. It's the training for the race, and.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Then when you're running it, you don't even think about it.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And it's like when we've got when we're here before
- 6:53Speaker 1: if you told us we could make the podcast our
- 6:56Speaker 1: full time job, We're like, that is sick now we're here.
- 6:59Speaker 1: It's just like human nature is always thinking about one
- 7:01Speaker 1: more but also not being able to step back and
- 7:03Speaker 1: appreciate it for what it is. It's just fucking yeah,
- 7:07Speaker 1: why I couldn't life be easy? What do you believe in?
- 7:09Speaker 1: The saying? What is it You've got to what's the
- 7:11Speaker 1: cliche one where you've got to experience the bad to
- 7:13Speaker 1: accept the good or like to experience the good?
- 7:16Speaker 4: True?
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you have to. What is that saying? You have
- 7:20Speaker 2: to experience the bad to experience the good? You have
- 7:22Speaker 2: to Yeah, that's basically it. It's a roundabout way of saying,
- 7:25Speaker 2: I know exactly what you mean. Yeah, you have to
- 7:27Speaker 2: know what the bad feels like so you can know
- 7:28Speaker 2: what the good.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Do you though?
- 7:31Speaker 2: It's a good question. That's a good question.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Right now we're feeling good. We don't feel good.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Like we do, but we I I even I don't know.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I've even said, like I said to you the other day,
- 7:45Speaker 2: we look at numbers and if the numbers don't climb,
- 7:48Speaker 2: we are kind of like, oh, and if they go down,
- 7:53Speaker 2: oh my god, oh how dare they How fucking dare
- 7:56Speaker 2: they go down? And how dare we let that happen?
- 7:58Speaker 2: It's actually out of our control. But I was like, yes,
- 8:03Speaker 2: it's like, if we could get to like, say, fifty thousand,
- 8:07Speaker 2: an episode like that would be you know, that would
- 8:12Speaker 2: be good. What's the better if we get there? I'm
- 8:14Speaker 2: going to be like, yeah, but if it could just
- 8:15Speaker 2: be a hundred.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Well how can we and everyone else because everyone's doing
- 8:18Speaker 1: cool things. We're listening right now exactly. Yeah, appreciate the training,
- 8:22Speaker 1: Appreciate the grind, not the end goal or like the
- 8:25Speaker 1: next thing. And I think it's just like clique as
- 8:28Speaker 1: it is, stopping and smelling the roses, but being self
- 8:30Speaker 1: aware that what you are doing is cool when you
- 8:33Speaker 1: just have to accept that.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I think a toxic trade of mine is I
- 8:37Speaker 2: look at, say, podcast numbers the way that most people
- 8:43Speaker 2: look at bank account. I think a good trade of
- 8:46Speaker 2: mine is that I don't look at bank account and
- 8:49Speaker 2: think once I'm at this number, I'm good. It's just
- 8:52Speaker 2: not something I really think about, luckily, and I can
- 8:55Speaker 2: totally see why people think like that. But again, so
- 8:59Speaker 2: say it's like I think in a way of it's
- 9:02Speaker 2: also the toxic way of if it's fifty thousand per episode,
- 9:04Speaker 2: then we're good, but when we get there, it's obviously
- 9:07Speaker 2: not going to be good, even though it's like good enough. Yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 2: nothing's ever good enough. And so I think, I don't know,
- 9:15Speaker 2: you fucking I want to be able to like help
- 9:19Speaker 2: people and and live the life of the advice we give.
- 9:24Speaker 2: But I think at the same time, excepting that we
- 9:27Speaker 2: are also human, or that I am also human, excepting
- 9:31Speaker 2: that everyone's human. Yeah, excepting that everyone's human, and like,
- 9:36Speaker 2: you know, the best people compare themselves to other people
- 9:39Speaker 2: as well. Yeah, and it's also too like not saying
- 9:43Speaker 2: that we're the best people. I was talking about, like say,
- 9:44Speaker 2: I don't know fucking Brad Pitt or some shit, or
- 9:47Speaker 2: like maybe they don't feel like the best people either
- 9:50Speaker 2: know exactly, they're still they're also human.
- 9:52Speaker 1: It's all in our head. And then also being human
- 9:55Speaker 1: is just like the things that affect you too. You
- 9:57Speaker 1: think everyone around you is perfect, but then you're so
- 9:59Speaker 1: hard on self. Yeah, it's such a double ended sword.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It's stupid.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I've started to hate social media again. Yeah, I've
- 10:06Speaker 2: started to.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Really, it's a tricky thing to navigate social media because
- 10:09Speaker 1: really highlights the best that makes you feel like shit. Yeah.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Like sometimes I'll get a little thing in my head
- 10:17Speaker 2: where I go, what the fuck am I doing with
- 10:20Speaker 2: my time? What the what the fuck am I doing
- 10:23Speaker 2: my time? And then I get mad at myself for
- 10:26Speaker 2: being like, you lazy prick do it. But I don't know.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Maybe the quicker I accept that I'm not going to
- 10:34Speaker 2: do it, and I stop putting the pressure on myself
- 10:36Speaker 2: to do it. The quicker I will just be like,
- 10:39Speaker 2: it's not happening, So I'm not going to do it. Yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 2: you know what I mean?
- 10:48Speaker 1: That is up next. I am excited because this is
- 10:51Speaker 1: the start of the Baddest Baddie campaign where we are
- 10:55Speaker 1: highlighting the real engines behind business and I just really
- 11:01Speaker 1: want to talk to you baddies who are doing cool things, the.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Real engines behind the world, the world even Yeah, I
- 11:07Speaker 2: like that.
- 11:08Speaker 1: And today we're kicking things off with Chelsea Carford. Maybe
- 11:13Speaker 1: Crawford that might be better.
- 11:15Speaker 2: But so we're going to start with her hustle story. Okay,
- 11:18Speaker 2: this is baddie.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a baddie who we're going to call
- 11:20Speaker 1: shortly before we do that, let's get her backstory behind
- 11:23Speaker 1: her business and a little bit about herself.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Love it.
- 11:26Speaker 1: So her hustle story was she started a business at
- 11:29Speaker 1: nineteen after suffering from painful periods for nine years being
- 11:33Speaker 1: told it was all in her head and she was
- 11:36Speaker 1: too young to have endometriosis. Fuck that, eh, So many
- 11:40Speaker 1: hospitals and tests were a lot of just being medically
- 11:44Speaker 1: gas lit. So she started a business and designed clothes
- 11:47Speaker 1: for all women and girls, but specifically for those with
- 11:51Speaker 1: endometriosis pcos this word aida mesiosis, aidanomiosis and painful periods.
- 12:02Speaker 1: My first product is a hoodie that's one hundred percent
- 12:05Speaker 1: cotton and has a pocket for a hot water bottle
- 12:06Speaker 1: and a heat pack. Best thing I've ever done. I
- 12:09Speaker 1: love wearing it when it's cold, but even when I
- 12:11Speaker 1: have my flare ups. And then also her baddie business
- 12:16Speaker 1: moment was releasing the first launch of her hoodies after
- 12:20Speaker 1: her surgery where I got diagnosed with endometriosis. It was
- 12:24Speaker 1: a few days post off. Damn. Yeah, so she has it. Yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 1: she's got it.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I hate doctors, dude, I hate doctors.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Something about it. They've got a note.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I was something about doctors and not wanting to
- 12:38Speaker 2: put the effort in. It just irks me.
- 12:42Speaker 1: It's like if it's in their book and it says
- 12:44Speaker 1: like girls can't get indemutrious under the age of eighteen,
- 12:48Speaker 1: then I'm not going to do anything about it.
- 12:50Speaker 2: I also find case by case, you're right. Yeah, so
- 12:53Speaker 2: they get told obviously they're very very well educated, of course,
- 12:58Speaker 2: you know, and it probably gets hammered into them that
- 13:01Speaker 2: you know, for example, and demetriosis doesn't come to X
- 13:05Speaker 2: age and so she's younger than that age, and they go,
- 13:07Speaker 2: it's just it's just not a thing. I'm sorry, it's
- 13:09Speaker 2: just you're too young. It's it's on that head of yours. Therapy,
- 13:14Speaker 2: that's all I do, therapy whatever, funk off. And so
- 13:17Speaker 2: then finally some doctor goes, well, let's test it, and
- 13:21Speaker 2: then boom has it. It's like just fucking test for shit. Yeah,
- 13:27Speaker 2: is there lack of tests or something.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I think it's lack of I don't know, like effort,
- 13:34Speaker 1: will or the desire to help. It's more like going
- 13:38Speaker 1: back to the job. It's just like it's just my
- 13:39Speaker 1: job clocking in. It's their job, and it's hard for
- 13:42Speaker 1: people going through these type of things. He's a baddie
- 13:45Speaker 1: who's prevailed. Ye shall we Yeah, it's cool. Shit Hello.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Is that Chelsea?
- 13:52Speaker 1: How are you going? Welcome to the Baddest Baddie.
- 13:55Speaker 5: I'm good, Thank you?
- 13:56Speaker 1: How are you? We are going really well. I'm joined
- 13:58Speaker 1: by Jake. Hello. Hi, thank you for staying up late.
- 14:04Speaker 1: We haven't mentioned to everyone that you are from England.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, what time is it in England?
- 14:11Speaker 5: It's currently five past one in the morning.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Oh my god, So sorry very much for staying up.
- 14:22Speaker 1: It's fine, it's fine, And I've just read everyone your
- 14:25Speaker 1: hustle story and your business and wanted to say it's
- 14:28Speaker 1: very inspiring and just asked how's the business going, and
- 14:32Speaker 1: any any sort of hurdles you overcame just through doing it.
- 14:37Speaker 5: So I started the business probably about three years ago,
- 14:41Speaker 5: but it's had like changes in that it didn't really
- 14:44Speaker 5: start until I first think about the hospital about two
- 14:47Speaker 5: years ago with suspected endometrosis, and then I sort of
- 14:52Speaker 5: came up last year when I was in a really
- 14:53Speaker 5: bad syra. I think through a really bad time a
- 14:56Speaker 5: hoodie that could hold a hot water bottle or a
- 14:58Speaker 5: heat pack sort of we're out like to college, to work,
- 15:02Speaker 5: to meet up with friends and stuff. And I only
- 15:05Speaker 5: got the sample of the hoodies a few months ago,
- 15:07Speaker 5: and I was like, I'm going to do it. I'm
- 15:09Speaker 5: going to put it out there, see what reaction it gets.
- 15:11Speaker 5: It got a huge reaction, and I put them up
- 15:15Speaker 5: for pre orders a week after my surgery, so I
- 15:18Speaker 5: wasn't even like fully recovered. I put them out and
- 15:21Speaker 5: we're movie sold out, which is just mental to me.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Damn. It's a great idea, Honestly, that's such a good story.
- 15:28Speaker 1: It is well, Chelsea, that is very inspiring. But also
- 15:33Speaker 1: we are here to have a little bit of fun
- 15:35Speaker 1: as well and put that business knowledge to the tests.
- 15:38Speaker 1: So are you ready for it?
- 15:40Speaker 2: Are you ready?
- 15:41Speaker 5: I'm ready?
- 15:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:42Speaker 1: So imagine me and Jake are in the elevator and
- 15:47Speaker 1: you've just walked in.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, hey Jake.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Business has been tough.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it feels like we're just pressing the same floor
- 15:58Speaker 2: button every day.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Maybe if it's time we hit a new level.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but what's something actually innovative?
- 16:09Speaker 5: Well, now that you talk about it, guys, innovative my
- 16:12Speaker 5: business you do my pain obviously.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Explain well, a beauty of ung pain. I like that name.
- 16:18Speaker 2: That's interesting. How'd you come up with that?
- 16:22Speaker 5: It started when I ended up in hospital and I
- 16:25Speaker 5: was going through the worst time in my life, and
- 16:27Speaker 5: I was like, what should I do to help myself
- 16:31Speaker 5: and other women going through the same issue, same problems
- 16:33Speaker 5: like we do every day period cramps, heavy periods, being
- 16:37Speaker 5: told it's all normal when it's not just struggling every
- 16:40Speaker 5: day having to hold a hot water bottle in your
- 16:43Speaker 5: trousers with it falling and having to hold it and
- 16:46Speaker 5: getting frustrated. So I was like, you know what, I'm
- 16:50Speaker 5: just gonna create a hoodie and use the name vity
- 16:53Speaker 5: my Pain, which resonates with finding the beauty amongst all
- 16:58Speaker 5: of the horrible pain that you can go through and
- 17:01Speaker 5: just finding the beauty in it all still looking amazing
- 17:04Speaker 5: well being comfortable. And that's where the fiby came in.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Well, well, I asked, do you need investors because that
- 17:11Speaker 2: was a very good pitch.
- 17:14Speaker 1: That was great, Chelsea, that was really good. It was
- 17:17Speaker 1: funny you needed that little bit of Jake. And then.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Oh wow, that was actually very good. I like how
- 17:28Speaker 2: you It's almost like you were standing there just kind
- 17:31Speaker 2: of eavesdropping on a conversation. You went, actually, well, I.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Always I always eaves dropping on conversations always, So she
- 17:38Speaker 5: was a.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Pro Let's go you have experience.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Yeah, well, Chelsea, this is now going to go to
- 17:44Speaker 1: the baddies to vote to see who had a better
- 17:47Speaker 1: elevator pitch. But thank you very much for coming.
- 17:49Speaker 5: On, thank you for having me at all.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Had sleep, good sleep.
- 17:55Speaker 5: Thank you bye.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Okay, Next up the second as baddie is Taylor Mills.
- 18:03Speaker 2: All right, I got her hustle story in front of
- 18:05Speaker 2: me here. At just twenty years old, I packed up
- 18:10Speaker 2: my life and moved to one of the most remote
- 18:12Speaker 2: indigenous communities in Australia, ramming inning interesting Northern Territory to
- 18:20Speaker 2: work for the local government. There were no big teams,
- 18:24Speaker 2: no easy resources, and no one holding my hand. I
- 18:28Speaker 2: was thrown straight into the deep end when I asked
- 18:31Speaker 2: to step up into a management role, sorry management role,
- 18:34Speaker 2: despite having little to know experience, and I said yes.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Suddenly I was running and supporting day to day council
- 18:41Speaker 2: operations completely on my own, from waste management, payroll, housing,
- 18:47Speaker 2: youth services, aged care, postal services, municipal support and community engagement.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I lived alone, showed up every single day and made
- 18:56Speaker 2: it work. I owned the respect of my senior executives
- 18:58Speaker 2: from large corporations, elders in the community, visiting officials and
- 19:03Speaker 2: my community. By proving that young people are capable, we
- 19:07Speaker 2: can lead, and we can lead well beyond my role.
- 19:11Speaker 2: I've always used my voice for impact. I wrote a
- 19:13Speaker 2: speech on youth mental health that was read in Parliament
- 19:16Speaker 2: by Luke Gosling. I've served as NT Youth Ambassador and
- 19:21Speaker 2: proudly represented by community null and By by winning the
- 19:26Speaker 2: GTNT School based Trainee of the Year Award after completing
- 19:30Speaker 2: my Certificate three in business at sixteen. Now at twenty one,
- 19:35Speaker 2: I'm still breaking expectations managing a two hundred and fifty
- 19:39Speaker 2: property housing portfolio that supports economic growth in Nullumbi while
- 19:45Speaker 2: studying to become a licensed real estate agent. I've been
- 19:49Speaker 2: underestimated because of my age or gender, but I've proven
- 19:52Speaker 2: every single time that capability has no age limit. My
- 19:55Speaker 2: hustle started early because I've always believed that it doesn't
- 19:58Speaker 2: matter where you come from, how young you are, or
- 20:01Speaker 2: what your background looks like. If you have determination, courage
- 20:04Speaker 2: and a heart, you can lead anywhere. Because being a
- 20:08Speaker 2: baddie isn't just about confidence, It's about capability, consistency and courage.
- 20:13Speaker 2: When no one is watching business, baddie moment My biggest
- 20:18Speaker 2: baddie moment was standing in ramming ginning hope, I'm not
- 20:24Speaker 2: butchering that hundreds of kilometers from the nearest city, realizing
- 20:28Speaker 2: that at just twenty, I was running operations that kept
- 20:30Speaker 2: an entire community operational. Every decision mattered, every challenge was
- 20:34Speaker 2: mine to face, and I didn't just survive it, I
- 20:36Speaker 2: led through it. That moment proved me and everyone watching
- 20:39Speaker 2: that young women can lead just as strongly, just as smartly,
- 20:43Speaker 2: and just as powerfully as anyone else.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Wow.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Dad, I was kind of sick to read, Bro, I'm
- 20:49Speaker 2: not gonna lie.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Well written.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Bro. Let's get a tailor on the phone right now. Hello, Taylor,
- 21:01Speaker 2: It's Jake and Oddie from the Relatables. How are you good?
- 21:05Speaker 1: Thank you, HOLLI so good.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Welcome to the Baddest Baddy. You got Oddie here with me,
- 21:13Speaker 2: of course, and I just read out your hustle story,
- 21:17Speaker 2: your badest baddie, badest business baddie moment, and my first
- 21:21Speaker 2: takeaway is I just want to say, very inspirational and also,
- 21:29Speaker 2: my problems aren't problems.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Wow.
- 21:35Speaker 2: That was amazing.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Thank you so much, No, no.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Thank you, so yeah. How are you're still how old?
- 21:44Speaker 4: Are you now I spurned twenty one this year.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Wait a second, you what that story is like? You've
- 21:52Speaker 1: lived a lot, I was.
- 21:53Speaker 2: I thought that. I thought you're gonna be like twenty seven.
- 21:57Speaker 4: I felt like I've lived a life.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Are you still in the Northern Territory.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I've grown up here in my whole life.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Wow, And are you still at the may? I ask
- 22:09Speaker 2: how to pronounce? Is it Ramming Ginning?
- 22:12Speaker 6: You got it?
- 22:14Speaker 2: I think the first people get it. Are you still there? No?
- 22:19Speaker 4: So I moved back to my hometown at the start
- 22:21Speaker 4: of this year because I had a career opportunity come
- 22:25Speaker 4: up and I just took it. And so, yeah, I
- 22:28Speaker 4: left Ramming Getting It would have been about Christmas time.
- 22:32Speaker 4: It was pretty sad. I really did like it there,
- 22:35Speaker 4: but you know, I was coming back to my hometown,
- 22:37Speaker 4: so it wasn't prove out of the situation. But yeah,
- 22:42Speaker 4: I'm from Norland Boys, which is in northeast southam Land,
- 22:45Speaker 4: which is also in the territory. It's very small. It
- 22:50Speaker 4: is a mining town. But if the mine is Rio Tinta,
- 22:55Speaker 4: I'm not sure if you guys know that.
- 22:57Speaker 2: I did not know, but I do know that I'm
- 23:00Speaker 2: Linery opening will be pretty good for the town.
- 23:02Speaker 1: I do know that.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Well, it's controversial because this obviously is an indigenous community
- 23:10Speaker 4: in its own land. So the mine's actually closing shortly
- 23:15Speaker 4: and this town, yes, so this town is a mining town.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Most all the infrastructure, everything was built to keep the
- 23:22Speaker 4: mine up so they could have people come in and
- 23:25Speaker 4: you know, obviously mine bought site whatnot. Obviously, with that closing,
- 23:31Speaker 4: our community is so strong here in Olanboy and a
- 23:34Speaker 4: lot of the businesses and a lot of the residents here,
- 23:37Speaker 4: we don't want it to become, you know, like a
- 23:39Speaker 4: ghost town or no one's here and everything failed. So
- 23:43Speaker 4: at the moment, that's my business I'm working with Now.
- 23:48Speaker 4: We am part of a having sector in it. So
- 23:51Speaker 4: we have a portfolio of two hundred and fifty properties
- 23:54Speaker 4: and our goal is to provide that housing two specifically
- 23:59Speaker 4: businesses they can employ people to keep different operations going.
- 24:04Speaker 4: We have, yeah, different people like you know, you have
- 24:08Speaker 4: more businesses that keep you know, revenue coming into town.
- 24:12Speaker 4: You have paramatics, a bunch of people that we help support.
- 24:17Speaker 4: But there's obviously within our town so many different places
- 24:20Speaker 4: that keep it going. So I really will be fine
- 24:23Speaker 4: after the mine closes, but I to be a part
- 24:27Speaker 4: of this. You know, new change is going to be cool,
- 24:30Speaker 4: and that's just something I couldn't say no to.
- 24:32Speaker 2: So here I am fairer n.
- 24:34Speaker 1: You're taking all the right steps and you're there make
- 24:37Speaker 1: the right change, which is really good.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Well yeah, all right, time to give us your pitch.
- 24:45Speaker 2: All right. You seem like someone that has a pretty
- 24:48Speaker 2: good pitch under their belt. So Audie and I are
- 24:52Speaker 2: going to be as you know, we're going to pretend
- 24:54Speaker 2: we're in an elevator and you're maybe eavesdropping a little bit.
- 24:57Speaker 2: We'll start talking and then you interject when you see fit.
- 25:00Speaker 2: All right, Jake, business has been tough. Yeah, it feels
- 25:07Speaker 2: like we're just pressing the same floor button every day.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Maybe it's time we hit a new level.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but something actually innovative.
- 25:18Speaker 4: If you don't mind, may I inter debt?
- 25:21Speaker 2: Of course?
- 25:21Speaker 4: Of course I believe you're on the right path here.
- 25:25Speaker 4: I believe people would strive. We should always say yes
- 25:28Speaker 4: to any opportunity we're given. And as you said, it
- 25:31Speaker 4: is tough and it can be uncomfortable personally. At twenty,
- 25:35Speaker 4: I moved to a population of eight hundred community and
- 25:39Speaker 4: I knew nothing. I had no experience. I learned everything
- 25:42Speaker 4: as I went, and the nearest city was twelve hours away.
- 25:45Speaker 4: I've just said, yeah, that's all I did, and learn
- 25:49Speaker 4: and adapt and sometimes learning and adapting give you the skills. Honestly,
- 25:54Speaker 4: no plan could. Business can be tough, but it's our
- 25:57Speaker 4: job to keep it going and showing up every day,
- 26:01Speaker 4: showing your passions. That's more important than any scale, any
- 26:06Speaker 4: you know, validating from anyone. It's your passion because at
- 26:11Speaker 4: the end of the day, it's just you that will
- 26:13Speaker 4: be there. Your business falls, so we've got to keep
- 26:16Speaker 4: pushing and keep our business or float by your driving
- 26:19Speaker 4: pass And that's the most important thing I could tell you.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Well, you're the right person to get in the elevator.
- 26:26Speaker 2: You were the right person to get in this elevator
- 26:28Speaker 2: if I do say so much.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Oh wow, okay, okay, Yeah.
- 26:37Speaker 2: That was to go for motivation. Yeah, you're the person
- 26:41Speaker 2: to call. Yeah, well, Taylor, thank you very much. We're
- 26:47Speaker 2: going to leave it up to the batteries to vote.
- 26:49Speaker 2: We've already had one one caller in today, so yeah,
- 26:52Speaker 2: you'll find out. I'm going to say within the next
- 26:55Speaker 2: couple of weeks. Who's Who's won that one.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Who's moving on to the next round?
- 26:58Speaker 4: Thank you very much, Thank you so much for having
- 27:01Speaker 4: me it all.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Enjoy the rest of your day.
- 27:03Speaker 5: Bye bye.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I was thinking, fuck, she's good at Let's see how
- 27:14Speaker 2: do I let me just say, let's if she forgot
- 27:18Speaker 2: to do a school assignment that was a presentation, and
- 27:22Speaker 2: she went to school and the teacher goes, ah, you know, Taylor,
- 27:25Speaker 2: you go first. She'd get up and get an ayah
- 27:29Speaker 2: having done.
- 27:29Speaker 1: It, we would use the term spitballing. She was great.
- 27:36Speaker 2: She was great.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Badies. As we found out in the Olympics, our opinions
- 27:42Speaker 1: mean nothing. Yes, we are posing it to you. Who
- 27:45Speaker 1: moves on to.
- 27:46Speaker 2: The next round of the Badest Party?
- 27:48Speaker 1: So comment below who you want to see moving forward,
- 27:51Speaker 1: either Chelsea or Taylor, and if.
- 27:54Speaker 2: You would like to be involved for next week, sign up.
- 27:59Speaker 1: The link is in the description.
- 28:06Speaker 2: All right, daddies, Next up, we've got things that aren't
- 28:13Speaker 2: just for boys.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Again again, I'm excited this week.
- 28:16Speaker 2: I've got boys weekends.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Wait, boys weekends are not just for the boys. The
- 28:24Speaker 1: girls the girl.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I say bring the girls, man.
- 28:27Speaker 1: I think boys weekends should be a thing of the past.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Yeah, what's with the why do we need a boy's weekend?
- 28:33Speaker 1: I don't know. Yeah, it's just like gonna hang out
- 28:35Speaker 1: with my mates and they always go to like a
- 28:37Speaker 1: Beitha by just get pissed.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Abetha, dude, dangerous living in where we live in Australia,
- 28:46Speaker 2: living in the UK or Europe and having Abitha Also,
- 28:52Speaker 2: I'm calling it Abiza. I'm sorry, I'm calling it Okay,
- 28:58Speaker 2: having Abiza that close. When we liked to go out
- 29:01Speaker 2: and you can fly there like a couple of hours,
- 29:04Speaker 2: fly back the next morning. It would be So isn't.
- 29:06Speaker 1: That a bottle of water? Bottle like twenty five dollars?
- 29:10Speaker 2: Yeah, and they want because they just want to drink alcohol.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Yeah right.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Things that aren't just for boys, energy drinks, edgy drinks, explain,
- 29:22Speaker 2: think about it, most energy drinks, they're made for men's.
- 29:27Speaker 2: They made for us. Let's be real. It's all kind
- 29:28Speaker 2: of it's all very marcho, so very in your face.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Bulls monsters do it's they're made for men.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Thinking about now though, like, yeah, they're not that appealing
- 29:42Speaker 1: for everyone.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Are they? Yeah, dude, that's why Marissa created perfect Heed
- 29:46Speaker 2: healthy energy drinks. They weren't even made with us guys
- 29:49Speaker 2: in mind, and they actually slapped.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Let me see healthy energy A powered by Marcher all
- 29:56Speaker 1: natural ingredients. Honestly, this is good, dude.
- 30:01Speaker 2: And the flavors slap. I'm all about that juicy peach
- 30:03Speaker 2: and what you got right now? But apple raspberry yummy?
- 30:08Speaker 1: Okay? And where can I get it?
- 30:11Speaker 2: Coals? Bro Just cols, Cols five minutes down the road.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Coles five minutes away from everyone.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Everyone's got a coals near them, So.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Get stucked up, all right, Jake, I want to ask
- 30:27Speaker 1: you something, Okay, if you had one wish, what would
- 30:30Speaker 1: it be?
- 30:31Speaker 2: If I had one wish? Yeah, what would it be?
- 30:34Speaker 1: Oh?
- 30:34Speaker 2: God, bro ha, three more wishes?
- 30:40Speaker 1: You're a loser. Give me an actual response if I
- 30:45Speaker 1: had one with.
- 30:47Speaker 2: What's wrong with that? If you asked me if I
- 30:50Speaker 2: had one wish, what would have been? I wished for
- 30:52Speaker 2: three more wishes. That means I have three more wishes,
- 30:54Speaker 2: So pick me? Hey, how would that pick me?
- 30:57Speaker 1: Your given?
- 30:59Speaker 2: I took what I was given, an I capitalized.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Three more wishes.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Please, I'm not I'm not bagging like that. Someone's offered
- 31:07Speaker 2: me a wish and I said, I wish for three
- 31:08Speaker 2: more wishes. I'm gonna be confident and I'm going to
- 31:09Speaker 2: stand on business. When I say it. You say like three,
- 31:13Speaker 2: that's actually not because it's what I did. I said
- 31:16Speaker 2: three more wishes. I said it like that, didn't I
- 31:18Speaker 2: three more wishes? What do you want me to say?
- 31:21Speaker 2: What would you wish for?
- 31:22Speaker 1: I would wish for all men to be better? Damn? Okay,
- 31:29Speaker 1: Mike drop, motherfucker, this is what somebody?
- 31:33Speaker 2: Do you not know that that was one of my
- 31:34Speaker 2: wishes of my three.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Because it wasn't I know what's in there, mate monkey.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Genuinely though, three more wishes? All right. Wish number one
- 31:49Speaker 2: Henry dies when I die, okay, Wish number two I
- 31:55Speaker 2: think I die like a week before Beth, and then
- 31:58Speaker 2: heartbreak kills her. Ye a right, especially because maybe probably
- 32:01Speaker 2: heartbreak from Henry.
- 32:01Speaker 1: But also if you're you've passed the way, you don't
- 32:03Speaker 1: know how long it will take it, so it's unaffected
- 32:05Speaker 1: to you. You're unaffected.
- 32:06Speaker 2: No, but but I know now because of my wish
- 32:08Speaker 2: it takes a week, so I know she's coming, Whitney,
- 32:10Speaker 2: Yeah right, I'll be lonely in heaven.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Yeah heaven.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Wish number three that all men are better.
- 32:21Speaker 1: And that brings us to your question of the week.
- 32:25Speaker 1: What's something you wish? All men? You man? That was good? Eh, okay,
- 32:32Speaker 1: let me kick things off. What's something you wish? All men?
- 32:36Speaker 1: You girls just want to have a regular guy who
- 32:39Speaker 1: when she calls, he comes over.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Fucking earth?
- 32:43Speaker 1: Do they? Though? I didn't think that, surely.
- 32:47Speaker 2: I feel like, yeah, girls just want someone that's like reliable.
- 32:51Speaker 2: You know he's going to answer the phone. You don't
- 32:52Speaker 2: have to worry about where he is because he's already
- 32:54Speaker 2: told you, because he actually tells you what he's doing,
- 32:56Speaker 2: and you don't have to worry about the flake you're
- 32:58Speaker 2: not going to be fucking.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I took that as just sex, like no strings attached,
- 33:03Speaker 1: maybe like nine pm, hey good?
- 33:06Speaker 2: Maybe maybe girls just want a good fuck?
- 33:09Speaker 4: True?
- 33:10Speaker 2: I mean, actually, let's be completely honest. It would make
- 33:13Speaker 2: so much sense for girls who just want a good fuck,
- 33:14Speaker 2: because what else is a boy bringing into their life?
- 33:16Speaker 2: Nothing but stress? So if he can fuck good, all
- 33:20Speaker 2: I want if I was a girl, sorry staking for
- 33:22Speaker 2: him in here. But all they want is call him up,
- 33:25Speaker 2: he comes over, go away, using for that, use him, Yeah,
- 33:31Speaker 2: get good at it.
- 33:32Speaker 1: I'll use you for it. Fucking hell?
- 33:36Speaker 2: All right, girls, what's something you wish all men knew
- 33:42Speaker 2: the finger tongue.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Method, the finger tongue method.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a bit. The only thing I can think is.
- 33:48Speaker 7: That, Yeah, when I was a bit younger, I thought
- 33:57Speaker 7: I came up without myself.
- 34:01Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 34:01Speaker 2: I didn't see that in corner or anything, and.
- 34:04Speaker 1: And go for it yeaheah. Honestly, but when you're young
- 34:07Speaker 1: and like you're doing things for the first time, you
- 34:10Speaker 1: feel like a g It's funny.
- 34:13Speaker 8: When you're younger, when you're younger and you're maybe in
- 34:15Speaker 8: a relationship or you're sleeping with someone and you try
- 34:19Speaker 8: something ever so slightly Actually, what am I talking about?
- 34:22Speaker 8: Literally to this age, if you try something it was
- 34:24Speaker 8: so slightly different and then and then like my girlfriend
- 34:27Speaker 8: or when you're younger, single, whatever whoever you do it with.
- 34:29Speaker 2: He goes, yeah, when you tried that, I liked that.
- 34:32Speaker 2: That feels good.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I remember. Do girls have the same sensation. I remember
- 34:36Speaker 1: trying Doggie for the first time ever, like ever, yeah, like,
- 34:40Speaker 1: and I thought it was the best.
- 34:41Speaker 6: I was like, we are that good? Did you know
- 34:48Speaker 6: I felt that girls are like, yeah, we are them? No,
- 34:53Speaker 6: you don't reckon, surely I feel like it might be
- 34:55Speaker 6: universal or.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Is it just a little male mind.
- 35:01Speaker 2: I can't see Doggie style being an overly enjoyable That
- 35:05Speaker 2: was just about my example.
- 35:07Speaker 9: But if she didn't reverse cowgirls something, or like if
- 35:10Speaker 9: she just did something she's always wanted to try, or like,
- 35:12Speaker 9: I don't know, maybe like we get the balls to
- 35:16Speaker 9: you know, just walk in, don't even say hi, pin
- 35:19Speaker 9: her up against the wall to start kissing her.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Girls like that ship from books, bro girls like that
- 35:23Speaker 2: ship from books. Actually I have one girls with something
- 35:28Speaker 2: you wish all men knew that's smart, would teach them
- 35:31Speaker 2: how to pleasure a woman.
- 35:32Speaker 8: Facts.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Honestly, I'm learning a lot from that.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Let me just say I have learned some stuff from Cassi.
- 35:40Speaker 1: It's so good, honestly it is. Reese can actually f
- 35:44Speaker 1: off because Cassie's boys wait, Reese's Vanilla af Cassian, he's
- 35:50Speaker 1: a dog. Imagine. But us as young males are very
- 35:57Speaker 1: susceptible in the old mine department and watching porn and
- 36:01Speaker 1: thinking that's our normal. Imagine if we were reading porn
- 36:03Speaker 1: written by girls, it makes such healthy relationships.
- 36:07Speaker 2: It'll make a healthy sex life. I'll tell you that much,
- 36:10Speaker 2: one hundred percent.
- 36:10Speaker 1: It would be so much better and the sex would
- 36:12Speaker 1: be better for both parties. What's something you wish all
- 36:16Speaker 1: men knew? How to listen?
- 36:19Speaker 2: Yeah? I want to say, good one. How to listen
- 36:26Speaker 2: with like without trailing off?
- 36:30Speaker 1: Yeah, being engaged in the conversation. Yeah, I think that's
- 36:33Speaker 1: I think that's what they meant. Your version of listening
- 36:37Speaker 1: is just being there.
- 36:39Speaker 2: That's a lot of men's versions of listening as being
- 36:42Speaker 2: there and like actually just like hearing it, but then
- 36:45Speaker 2: not kind of maybe trying to put yourself in their
- 36:49Speaker 2: shoes and feeling how they would feel and having actual
- 36:51Speaker 2: empathy for the situation.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, actively listening.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yes, okay, girl. What's something you wish all men knew?
- 37:05Speaker 2: It's okay to cry?
- 37:07Speaker 1: Oh? That's a sweeker one. Yeah, I wish more men
- 37:10Speaker 1: knew that because I think I don't know, emotions are
- 37:13Speaker 1: the devil. They shouldn't show them.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Ever, Yeah, I would say I don't. I don't think
- 37:19Speaker 2: I'm afraid to cry or think it's not okay to cry,
- 37:22Speaker 2: but I just like for me to cry, it actually
- 37:27Speaker 2: just does take a lot.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I think it's more when you do have those sensations
- 37:31Speaker 1: to feel like it's coming.
- 37:33Speaker 2: On Okay, can I just say if whenever I do
- 37:39Speaker 2: get to a point that like the only thing I
- 37:41Speaker 2: can do is have a good cry, that's actually like,
- 37:45Speaker 2: for some reason, the best feeling it is.
- 37:48Speaker 1: It's like a relief. Yeah, I feel better. I think
- 37:50Speaker 1: that's also it can be used as a tool in
- 37:52Speaker 1: a sense, like men are scared of it, but also
- 37:54Speaker 1: your body's telling you that you need to do this
- 37:56Speaker 1: for a reason.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Yeah, Like if I could cry and demand, I actually
- 37:59Speaker 2: would for like so many situations because for some reason,
- 38:02Speaker 2: I think like when you cry, obviously you feel so
- 38:04Speaker 2: shitty you need to cry, But I always find that
- 38:06Speaker 2: you feel a bit relieved after.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I was going to phrase it. When you say
- 38:10Speaker 1: someone's emotional, there's normally like a negative connotation associated with it. Yes,
- 38:14Speaker 1: So if I was going to say, women are more emotional,
- 38:16Speaker 1: so they cry more, Like people think that's bad, but
- 38:19Speaker 1: I think it's a good thing because they have more
- 38:21Speaker 1: releases and more ways to express themselves in more ways
- 38:24Speaker 1: to feel in life.
- 38:27Speaker 2: We should you start using it as a compliment, like
- 38:28Speaker 2: you're emotional, own that shit, yeah, because you're actually like
- 38:33Speaker 2: healthy and let your emotions show. Yeah, exactly, it is.
- 38:36Speaker 2: It is used such as so negatively, like you're so emotional,
- 38:40Speaker 2: even like I've had like Beth will go maybe through
- 38:46Speaker 2: a MoodSwing or something, and then she'll apologize for it,
- 38:50Speaker 2: and or she'll apologize for being upset because she's in
- 38:54Speaker 2: that phase right before a period and she'll be like, oh,
- 38:56Speaker 2: I'm sorry, it's just because of this, or she'll be
- 38:59Speaker 2: like like she apologizes for these things, and I'm always like, yeah,
- 39:02Speaker 2: but you actually were feeling that in the moment. If
- 39:05Speaker 2: you're allowed to feel that, yeah, you know, because that's how.
- 39:08Speaker 1: You felt at the time.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:09Speaker 1: It's like also like you cry and then after you think, oh,
- 39:11Speaker 1: I'm silly for crying, but no, that's how you felt
- 39:13Speaker 1: and you deserve to cry.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Yeah, what happened in society that broke us?
- 39:20Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what broke us us?
- 39:23Speaker 2: You're genuinely they're like, what fucking broke us?
- 39:27Speaker 1: All right?
- 39:28Speaker 2: Girls, what's something you wish? All men knew? Well, you
- 39:31Speaker 2: have spoken about this before. They shouldn't wear skinny jeans.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Facts. There's one guy on Love Island, I know, Cooper,
- 39:39Speaker 1: how I thought they would have like wardrobe what's it called?
- 39:43Speaker 1: Stylists and like they'd go in there and dress them
- 39:46Speaker 1: all nice for the TVs, but they obviously brought their
- 39:48Speaker 1: own clothes. Oh yeah, I'd understand the girls because they
- 39:51Speaker 1: had the dudees Like, fucking now, he's wearing white skinny
- 39:53Speaker 1: jeans in twenty twenty five, He's.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Like, yeah, whatever or where am I getting to? I'm
- 40:00Speaker 2: actually also I kind of feel as though I I'm
- 40:04Speaker 2: all for I don't like to judge people for what
- 40:06Speaker 2: they wear, because you know, I want to let people
- 40:08Speaker 2: express themselves in whatever they wear they want. But I'm
- 40:11Speaker 2: telling you right now, there is zero place in this
- 40:13Speaker 2: world for men wearing skinny.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Jeans were There's not much room to express yourself in them.
- 40:21Speaker 1: All right, good point. What's something you wish all men knew?
- 40:26Speaker 1: Sex isn't the most important thing in a relationship?
- 40:30Speaker 2: Valid?
- 40:31Speaker 1: Yeah. I feel like, especially as young men, you think
- 40:35Speaker 1: sex is everything, yeah, when in reality, it just supplements
- 40:40Speaker 1: the beautiful relationship you have. Don't get me wrong, it's important.
- 40:43Speaker 2: I think, yeah, it's important, it's up there, but.
- 40:45Speaker 1: I think it supplements the connection you have.
- 40:47Speaker 2: What do you think is the most important thing in
- 40:48Speaker 2: a relationship?
- 40:49Speaker 1: Communication?
- 40:50Speaker 2: Communication? Yeah? That would I want to say, like, yeah, communication, trust, honesty,
- 40:57Speaker 2: all those things. Trust. I think trust three wishes. Again,
- 41:02Speaker 2: do you think trust?
- 41:04Speaker 1: I think trust is the foundation and you need that
- 41:07Speaker 1: for a relationship to thrive. And being realistic, you can't
- 41:10Speaker 1: just be one thing. But I reckon communication. I think
- 41:14Speaker 1: that's what makes a relationship flourish.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Yeah, alright, I'm gonna say my top three trust, Yeah, communication, empathy.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Empathy is your top three.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Empathy when needed.
- 41:28Speaker 1: You give a spider on you right now in your shoulder.
- 41:31Speaker 1: It's just a little one. He where is it? I
- 41:38Speaker 1: think it's gone. It's that one of you know, those
- 41:40Speaker 1: little jumping spiders. No, no, no, I'm not fucking with
- 41:44Speaker 1: your How would I just make that up? I think
- 41:47Speaker 1: it's going. I saved your life.
- 41:51Speaker 2: You did nothing. You sat there and did nothing even
- 41:53Speaker 2: helped me. I was asking you where it was.
- 41:56Speaker 1: I could have left that and you would have never known. Ridiculous.
- 42:04Speaker 2: FW you're welcome.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. What's something you wish? All men new?
- 42:13Speaker 1: Shoot your fucking shot. Oh that's a good one.
- 42:17Speaker 2: That is a good one.
- 42:19Speaker 1: I would say, get rejected and own it too.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, another like emotion that's unexplored because we're mad,
- 42:26Speaker 2: scared of it his embarrassment. Yeah, so apparently it's like,
- 42:29Speaker 2: go many fucking embarrass yourself. Men? All right, what's something
- 42:34Speaker 2: you wish? Are Menne? Honesty hurts less than dishonesty.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Oh? I like that.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Sometimes you have people to be like, yeah, the truth hurts.
- 42:47Speaker 2: It's like yeah, but lies hurt more.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Yeah, and lies just spiral as well. Yeah, and just
- 42:53Speaker 1: spills over and there's more and more and more. We're
- 42:55Speaker 1: honesty Oho, yeah, honestly, what's it? Yeah? What's the saying?
- 42:59Speaker 2: What do you say before honestly host lesson dishonestly?
- 43:01Speaker 1: No, the truth hurts.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Truth?
- 43:03Speaker 1: Yeah, that is a good saying.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Truth hurts. Yeah, it's a saying, but I may as
- 43:07Speaker 2: well say it.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Okay, what's something you wish? All men knew fe play
- 43:11Speaker 1: is not just touching the clitorists?
- 43:16Speaker 2: What else is it? What else is it? Because clearly
- 43:24Speaker 2: I'm not doing that because I have said I don't
- 43:25Speaker 2: know where it.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Is that could plan your to your advantage the kissing.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Full play starts with maybe depends like the I could
- 43:34Speaker 2: text bet right now and be like, girl, I had
- 43:38Speaker 2: a spider on me. All of you is doing things
- 43:41Speaker 2: to me. Full play could start now, I agree, I've
- 43:45Speaker 2: never done that. All right, girls, what's something you wish
- 43:54Speaker 2: all men knew? M If sexuality was a choice, we
- 44:00Speaker 2: wouldn't choose them, so do better.
- 44:04Speaker 1: What does that mean? Let's break that down.
- 44:06Speaker 2: If sexuality was a choice, because it's not like you're
- 44:09Speaker 2: born with way you want to go, Yeah, then women
- 44:14Speaker 2: wouldn't choose men.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Ah, that is good.
- 44:16Speaker 2: So women born hetero sexual, Yeah, they wouldn't choose men,
- 44:20Speaker 2: So fucking do better.
- 44:22Speaker 1: I was just thinking that men like there's no sexes.
- 44:27Speaker 1: That's good though. What's something you wish all men knew?
- 44:31Speaker 1: I don't want a daddy?
- 44:33Speaker 2: Why?
- 44:35Speaker 1: I reckon that many single they want you, not a
- 44:40Speaker 1: daddy daddy, but that many single like girls would get
- 44:44Speaker 1: dms like do you want me to be your daddy?
- 44:46Speaker 3: Oh?
- 44:46Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I you probably have them too. I've gotten
- 44:53Speaker 2: to the status where I have TikTok requests of old
- 44:59Speaker 2: men offering up some daddy services.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Really, yeah, bro, like paying you some cash to hang out?
- 45:07Speaker 1: Yeah bro.
- 45:08Speaker 2: I don't know if they really counsel their bots, but
- 45:11Speaker 2: let me just say I'm honored.
- 45:13Speaker 1: We should mike you up and go. Could you imagine
- 45:17Speaker 1: you should add daddy them be like Okay, I've got
- 45:20Speaker 1: two thousand. No, imagine going to a daddy meet up
- 45:24Speaker 1: and out daddying the daddy. It's like I've got five,
- 45:26Speaker 1: I've got ten. What's something you wish? All men knew?
- 45:32Speaker 1: Sex on your period is not illegal?
- 45:35Speaker 2: Fuck it, put towel down, it's so natural. Yeah, like
- 45:39Speaker 2: what do you what? What? What part of the bloody
- 45:41Speaker 2: you are they scared of? I don't know, Like if
- 45:45Speaker 2: it's on you shower, if it's on the bed, wash
- 45:48Speaker 2: your sheets.
- 45:48Speaker 10: But I don't know.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I don't know.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Yeah, down your streets.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Youre getting hot and heavy shoes. I'll get two towels.
- 45:58Speaker 1: She probably don't say too, I'll get.
- 45:59Speaker 2: A town alright, I'll get it two tows It was.
- 46:03Speaker 1: In my head that's something I would say to it.
- 46:10Speaker 1: I'm better to be s sorry, tonight's quilt. The second
- 46:15Speaker 1: is gone.
- 46:16Speaker 2: We can do it on the floor. Last one, what's
- 46:22Speaker 2: something you wish? All men knew? It takes two seconds
- 46:25Speaker 2: to send a message.
- 46:27Speaker 1: It also takes two seconds to come. Wait, we know
- 46:32Speaker 1: that one. What's something you wish? All menu? Honestly probably
- 46:36Speaker 1: the best one for last. The side effects of taking
- 46:39Speaker 1: birth control pills palid.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Yeah, valid. We spoke about it once. Actually, I think
- 46:46Speaker 2: you and I might have spoken about how they should
- 46:50Speaker 2: stop sucking around and make it for men. They might
- 46:52Speaker 2: be slowly bringing some out, but and there was a
- 46:55Speaker 2: dude that was like, nah, I wouldn't take it because
- 47:00Speaker 2: about side effects, but he doesn't care about the girl
- 47:02Speaker 2: taking it. Someone comments on that video or that that
- 47:05Speaker 2: episode though, and was talking about like all the benefits
- 47:07Speaker 2: of the pill.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I was like, okay for the male conception.
- 47:14Speaker 2: For women, Yeah, it was a girl. She was saying, like,
- 47:16Speaker 2: there's actually a lot of benefits for it, which is fair,
- 47:19Speaker 2: Like it can help certain things, it can help regulate.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Stuff, certain certain things for certain people. Yeah, and I
- 47:24Speaker 1: think they kind of use it as a one size
- 47:26Speaker 1: fits all type thing.
- 47:26Speaker 2: It's not. I think you're right.
- 47:27Speaker 1: No, they do.
- 47:28Speaker 2: And the first thing most doctors would suggest, for say,
- 47:31Speaker 2: earlier in the episode, for Chelsea, I bet you, the
- 47:34Speaker 2: first thing a doctor suggested her was have you tried
- 47:36Speaker 2: the bill?
- 47:37Speaker 1: Yeah? And I even't think the context of that. How
- 47:40Speaker 1: I took it is men have this obsession of not
- 47:43Speaker 1: having safe sex and telling their partner to take the
- 47:47Speaker 1: morning after pill, which absolutely ruins a girl's hormones for
- 47:51Speaker 1: a month or two.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it fucks you up a yeah, yeah, it's terrible.
- 47:54Speaker 1: And I think dudes just having this head like oh,
- 47:57Speaker 1: they can just deal with it tomorrow, as that's which
- 48:00Speaker 1: we're like, no, understand what this is doing to the person.
- 48:03Speaker 1: I just had sex with his body for a long
- 48:05Speaker 1: period time. It's not just this easy solution in your
- 48:07Speaker 1: head that you think it gets.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Rid of the problem like that.
- 48:10Speaker 1: It's not. There's repercussions.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Do you reckon? It's like, so say I would say
- 48:16Speaker 2: best and I didn't want to have a child for
- 48:18Speaker 2: five years, and so because Beth she has PCOS and
- 48:22Speaker 2: she she's doesn't she's never had the pill, doesn't and
- 48:26Speaker 2: she's not gonna because like it will muck it up.
- 48:30Speaker 2: So is it if I went and got a vasectomy
- 48:34Speaker 2: because you can get reversed for SEXTI mes can, isn't
- 48:37Speaker 2: that is it totally safe? Like just go get a
- 48:40Speaker 2: viseecutive me chilling safe sex, Right, We're not going to
- 48:43Speaker 2: have a kid without you know, blah blah blah, and
- 48:45Speaker 2: then when we want one reverse that shit.
- 48:48Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I have no idea. You just have
- 48:50Speaker 1: to do you obviously go through all the steps of
- 48:52Speaker 1: testing your swimmers before. Yeah, and see if there's any
- 48:55Speaker 1: repercussions of reversing of a sectory because it might narrow
- 48:57Speaker 1: the pathway. And if you have shit swimmers, if you
- 48:59Speaker 1: want to have a in the future. I'm just spitballing here,
- 49:02Speaker 1: But if you do all the test and it could
- 49:03Speaker 1: be a method that you to go down for sure.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Fuck, I might looking at that. Probably maybe it's very expensive.
- 49:08Speaker 2: I don't know. But also you would pay for the
- 49:09Speaker 2: pill every month. But yeah, exactly. And also five ten years,
- 49:12Speaker 2: that's your adds are.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Yeah, and you two are becoming an entity and you're
- 49:16Speaker 1: figuring out what's best for what's best, what's best for
- 49:19Speaker 1: your relationship. Yeah, and with her pcos and you having
- 49:23Speaker 1: really good swimmers, that could be an often.
- 49:24Speaker 2: But these swimmers, I tell you what I reckon these swimmers.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Let me think these swimmers are probably with the way
- 49:35Speaker 2: my body is, I'm going to say they got some issues.
- 49:39Speaker 3: These down here and girls baddies.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Oh my god. It was like getting up to an
- 49:54Speaker 2: hour and I bet you think we're about to end it.
- 49:57Speaker 1: I bet you did, no no long episode.
- 50:03Speaker 2: I swear I've never had that. Okay, we won't talk about.
- 50:07Speaker 1: How Hold it in any longer?
- 50:11Speaker 2: Who did you say? Sorry, we won't talk about Love Island.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Love Island?
- 50:16Speaker 2: Right, we watched the first week, so you didn't have to.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Yeah, or you probably watch it too.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Maybe you did Love Island Australia by the way, Yeah,
- 50:23Speaker 2: all right, So neither one of us has ever watched
- 50:26Speaker 2: Love Island before, rightly so. And I'm not gonna lie
- 50:30Speaker 2: after watching the first week. I know why I've never
- 50:33Speaker 2: watched it.
- 50:34Speaker 1: But I'm excited for the next episode.
- 50:36Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm excited to watch
- 50:38Speaker 2: it tonight.
- 50:40Speaker 1: I've got two to catch up on because I was
- 50:41Speaker 1: busy last night. I'm excited two hours of it. Of
- 50:45Speaker 1: that ship. It's it's it's so ship that it's good.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Yeah, you see, that's what it is. It's it's just hard, Okay,
- 50:53Speaker 2: So let's just fucking get into it, all right. We
- 50:57Speaker 2: watched the first episode together and it's on Patreon if
- 50:59Speaker 2: you guys want to go watch our reactions to it,
- 51:00Speaker 2: and you can watch it along with us.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Next episode every week over there too.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Yes, sir, get book Club early just started The Housemaid.
- 51:08Speaker 2: You get the next episode every week and probably a
- 51:11Speaker 2: few Love Island episodes. All right, watch them with us
- 51:14Speaker 2: five dollars a month, enjoy. So they introduce all the
- 51:19Speaker 2: all the people, we got Cooper, Jotham, Zach Ross, Connor,
- 51:23Speaker 2: other men, and then we go Yanna, Lacey, Bailey, Shan Isabel. Okay,
- 51:28Speaker 2: now it's not all that, it's not all that important now,
- 51:30Speaker 2: but the way they introduce them is they come in,
- 51:32Speaker 2: all the girls coming first, and all the boys come in.
- 51:34Speaker 2: The boys go, they stand on a heart, and the girls,
- 51:37Speaker 2: one by one, just off first glance, knowing pretty much
- 51:42Speaker 2: nothing like, not much at all about the boys. They
- 51:45Speaker 2: kiss the one that they're attracted to. Crazy they can
- 51:47Speaker 2: kiss one, or they can kiss five, they could kiss
- 51:49Speaker 2: all five and then they just got to go choose
- 51:51Speaker 2: their favorite one and they stand on their heart with them.
- 51:54Speaker 1: So I assume the contestants have watched previous Love Islands. Yes, yes,
- 51:58Speaker 1: Because we were unbeknownst.
- 51:59Speaker 2: To it, we were like, what the fuck?
- 52:02Speaker 10: Apparently I was told by someone Australia Love Island apparently
- 52:08Speaker 10: so sexual UK and that not not not not like that?
- 52:12Speaker 1: Okay, I think.
- 52:13Speaker 2: I might watch the UK one instead next.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Ours is the only prerecorded one.
- 52:17Speaker 2: I hate that as well. Yeah, stupid.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know why. So well, I think it
- 52:22Speaker 1: might because we're so far away from Europe. True doing
- 52:25Speaker 1: in Barley Butter be so easy, exactly.
- 52:28Speaker 2: All right, after all this kissing games happened, we were
- 52:31Speaker 2: dumbfounded by that. We've got couples. Yeah, Cooper and Yannah,
- 52:37Speaker 2: Jothaman and Lacy Zach and Bailey Ross and Shaan Connor
- 52:41Speaker 2: and Isabelle. All right, shall we do a short recap
- 52:45Speaker 2: of the first week? Okay, a little bit. So they're
- 52:51Speaker 2: all coupled up, they're head into the villa. It's a
- 52:54Speaker 2: little awkward because they even though they've all kissed, they
- 52:57Speaker 2: are very new to each other.
- 53:00Speaker 1: But they all have to sleep with each other night
- 53:01Speaker 1: one and so.
- 53:04Speaker 2: From from night one, whatever couple you've coupled with, you
- 53:07Speaker 2: sleep in the same bed and it's a double bed,
- 53:11Speaker 2: and it's a show. I'm so glad I've never done that,
- 53:18Speaker 2: Like not that I was like, I couldn't do it.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Wait, I can give the I put this on my TikTok.
- 53:23Speaker 1: The shortest recap is the whole show is them just
- 53:27Speaker 1: hanging out, hooking up with each other, figuring out who
- 53:30Speaker 1: they like, and then there's one challenge.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it's insane. Week to week, that's what it is.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Just hang out and then bombshell, bombshell, bombshell, yeah, bomb
- 53:40Speaker 2: shell yore bro. So all right, So I think the
- 53:49Speaker 2: way I want to do this is assuming everyone's watched
- 53:51Speaker 2: it and watching along with us, Let's go into what
- 53:54Speaker 2: do you think of Cooper and Yana? Cooper and Yanna
- 53:58Speaker 2: while they were together? Obviously we know Mick just took it.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Tox. He can dumb.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sorry, it's it's very hard to watch. Yeah, yeah,
- 54:05Speaker 2: it's ridiculous.
- 54:06Speaker 1: He's that.
- 54:12Speaker 2: He's very difficult to watch.
- 54:14Speaker 1: I hate him, but I like him for the TV.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Yeah, he's good TV. He's good TV.
- 54:18Speaker 1: I'll give you that.
- 54:19Speaker 2: When Mick took him and Cooper confronts Mick, craziest thing
- 54:23Speaker 2: in the world to me? What about the craziest thing
- 54:25Speaker 2: in the world?
- 54:25Speaker 1: It picks ya? And then he says sorry for sending
- 54:28Speaker 1: your home, and then Cooper's like, who says, I'm going?
- 54:31Speaker 2: I know, like just fucking keep your mouth shut. The
- 54:33Speaker 2: producers are like, yeah, I know, I know, Jontham and
- 54:37Speaker 2: Lacy they were a good coup.
- 54:39Speaker 1: I hated the mate.
- 54:40Speaker 2: I thought that they were kind of good.
- 54:42Speaker 1: You can't say you're planning a future with a dude
- 54:44Speaker 1: and not know his name.
- 54:45Speaker 2: That's a good point. Yeah, yeah, that's a good point.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Like just like Lacey, but that I just couldn't look that.
- 54:50Speaker 1: That was just ruining it for me. Jathan's my boy.
- 54:53Speaker 2: I like Jothan.
- 54:53Speaker 1: I like Jathan, dude, And you don't know why.
- 54:55Speaker 2: I like Jothan mad normal. I think Jonathan's super normal
- 54:57Speaker 2: and actually kind of mature because he was very honest
- 55:00Speaker 2: with Lazy that he is interested in Gabby. And he
- 55:02Speaker 2: was also very honest with Gabby that he is interested
- 55:03Speaker 2: in Lacey. So whether or not he gets stolen, he's like, look,
- 55:08Speaker 2: I know we're coupled up, but I want to get
- 55:11Speaker 2: to know everyone. And then Lacey, God love her, but
- 55:15Speaker 2: she actually is pretty toxic again with coop of everyone.
- 55:18Speaker 2: You know, she's actually quite toxic. And I understand she's
- 55:20Speaker 2: single and stuff, but I don't know. I mean, it's
- 55:23Speaker 2: just the premise of the show just breeds toxicity.
- 55:28Speaker 1: So I think that's who they cast.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Yeah, Zach and Bailey, they're gone. Who cares? Ross and
- 55:36Speaker 2: Shan I like them. Oh wait, at the start. I
- 55:39Speaker 2: really liked Ross, still really liked Ross. At the very beginning,
- 55:42Speaker 2: I didn't like Shann neither Shan was. It felt to
- 55:46Speaker 2: me she was trying to just cement her place on
- 55:51Speaker 2: the show or something. Maybe she was just but she's
- 55:55Speaker 2: just completely just settled in.
- 55:58Speaker 1: I think it was her nerves. Yeah, that was like
- 56:02Speaker 1: her way of coping.
- 56:03Speaker 2: I think you're right.
- 56:04Speaker 1: The TVs, she's like uncomfortable and like just saying things
- 56:06Speaker 1: to like like be like, oh, yeah, Shan's cool. But
- 56:09Speaker 1: now she's herself and like I would like her and Ross.
- 56:12Speaker 2: I would agree. I really like Shannon Ross and I
- 56:14Speaker 2: really like Sean. Now she was like, yeah, I think
- 56:16Speaker 2: she's funny. All right. Now, Connor and Isabelle, they're good.
- 56:21Speaker 1: But boring.
- 56:23Speaker 2: Boring's good, baby boring, Hey, love is boring, my friend.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Boring is good for real life, That's what I'm saying.
- 56:29Speaker 2: But it makes good TV because you need one couple
- 56:31Speaker 2: that everyone is rooting for.
- 56:33Speaker 1: True, true, True. I saw actually a TikTok of them
- 56:36Speaker 1: hanging out on the Gold Coast.
- 56:37Speaker 2: That's what Best told me yesterday. So you know what
- 56:39Speaker 2: that tells me. They went the distance. Even they might
- 56:42Speaker 2: not win though, true how do you win? Well, the
- 56:45Speaker 2: way the Australian Love arm works is ridiculous. They film
- 56:47Speaker 2: the whole thing and then they film it in a
- 56:50Speaker 2: way where they film every single person winning and then
- 56:54Speaker 2: we don't find out who wins because they will air
- 56:56Speaker 2: it and we actually vote who wins and then they
- 57:00Speaker 2: air that version. That's how it works. So the people
- 57:05Speaker 2: on Love Island, that's the act they have to act
- 57:07Speaker 2: and when they like, there's people so inefficient. There was
- 57:12Speaker 2: in the past people doing Love Island contestants watching the
- 57:15Speaker 2: finale and reacting to who won and being surprised that
- 57:18Speaker 2: they won. Yeah, they didn't know what was coming because
- 57:21Speaker 2: they actually they do in.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Money as well as love.
- 57:23Speaker 2: I don't know. Hopefully it's crazy and your career, yeah
- 57:29Speaker 2: kind of. Usually they don't go back to work. All right, Okay,
- 57:32Speaker 2: let's do favorite moment of the week. I got two.
- 57:36Speaker 1: I have two as well. My favorite moment was either
- 57:41Speaker 1: Rossie finding his confidence ah okay, and yeah, just becoming himself.
- 57:45Speaker 2: I love that he's like so because he was a
- 57:49Speaker 2: bit of I find him. He's he seems pretty normal
- 57:52Speaker 2: to me as well, like he was a little nervous,
- 57:53Speaker 2: he's a little scared to touch Suk. He doesn't want
- 57:55Speaker 2: to overstep, and he feels as though he needs her
- 57:58Speaker 2: to kind of like me, and Sean's like, I don't
- 58:00Speaker 2: want you to be a pussy all this. Then Zach,
- 58:03Speaker 2: before he gets kicked out, he goes he kisses Sean
- 58:05Speaker 2: Ross is kind of like fuck. He like kicks him
- 58:07Speaker 2: in the gear a bit, and so then him and
- 58:09Speaker 2: Channa land on the bed like out in the villa
- 58:11Speaker 2: or whatever, and he's kind of talking to her and
- 58:14Speaker 2: he's like, I'm going to kiss you right now, and
- 58:17Speaker 2: she's like, oh.
- 58:19Speaker 1: I found out they have to ask for consent before
- 58:23Speaker 1: they kiss the TV's and they cut it out.
- 58:26Speaker 2: No, he says it, yeah, but they probably.
- 58:28Speaker 1: The context of that one was not coming, but like,
- 58:29Speaker 1: do you have Cooper and Lacey kissed? And it was
- 58:32Speaker 1: kind of weird. I found out all the comments were
- 58:34Speaker 1: saying that the producers they to verbally say I want
- 58:37Speaker 1: to kiss you right now, Yes, you can kiss me
- 58:38Speaker 1: right now, and then they cut that.
- 58:40Speaker 2: And then they kiss. Yeah. Wow, So they just needed
- 58:43Speaker 2: that for proof. Yeah, okay. My first favorite moment of
- 58:46Speaker 2: the week was Yana talking to Cooper and Cooper goes, yeah,
- 58:51Speaker 2: I'm just like. She's like, I like that, You're super honest.
- 58:53Speaker 2: He's like, yeah, I'm just like mad honest, just like
- 58:55Speaker 2: said how it is, you know sometimes like to my
- 58:57Speaker 2: own detriment. She goes, what does that mean? And he's like,
- 59:00Speaker 2: you know, to my own peril. She goes, come on,
- 59:03Speaker 2: use a real human word. I don't know what that
- 59:05Speaker 2: means either, and he goes, you know, like mo own demise.
- 59:07Speaker 2: She's like, seriously, I don't know what any of that means.
- 59:10Speaker 2: I was like, what the fuck?
- 59:11Speaker 1: How have you gotten through life?
- 59:13Speaker 2: Legitimately, you're like a certified plumber. They're not stupid people
- 59:17Speaker 2: like you've insane. That's it was the funniest thing to me.
- 59:21Speaker 1: I was like, what excuse me?
- 59:24Speaker 2: Honestly, have to break it down for what's your second
- 59:27Speaker 2: favorite moment of the week?
- 59:28Speaker 1: Now, I'll live it with one, and well.
- 59:29Speaker 2: My second favorite is just any time Lacey tries to
- 59:31Speaker 2: say Jotham's day.
- 59:32Speaker 1: That is funny.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Any single anytime Jontham, Jonathan, oh Gotham, fuck what's his
- 59:40Speaker 2: name again? And a producer goes behind the camera Jotham.
- 59:43Speaker 2: She goes, Jonathan, all right, worst, what's your least favorite
- 59:49Speaker 2: moment of the week, Gabby grinding on got them. Oh
- 59:52Speaker 2: my god, in the fucking the first challenge. I hated
- 59:56Speaker 2: that challenge.
- 59:56Speaker 1: By the way, I'm all for shooting your shot, but
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: like the grinding, I was like, Nah, this is too much.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: This is too much, dude, but that challenge is insane,
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: Like they sexualize it way too much. It's crazy, and.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I don't know how this gets, this ship gets approved.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: I know, neither do I crazy? All Right? My favorite,
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: my worst moment of the week anytime Cooper spoke, specifically
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: when he confronted Mick for stealing Yana, and I was like,
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: that was the hardest thing for me to watch because
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Mix kind of just clearly like he wasn't like Yanna
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: in mixed defense, Like Yanna actually had a conversation with
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Mick and did say that she's she thinks he's attractive
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: and interested in stuff. He did want Isabelle didn't get
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: to talk to her. He's not obviously not gonna steal her,
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: like she genuinely doesn't want to ask Yana is showing interest.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: And then Yanna goes and she says to Cooper like
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: I swear I didn't show him any interest. And so
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: then Cooper's kind of like confronting Mick, like, why did you.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Choose y did your mom? Because she did show him
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: interest exactly.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Yeah, Like so that's what I'm saying is like she
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: showed interest, so mix Like, so Cooper's going on, I
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: just spoke to Yana and she's like, yeah, I don't
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: even know why he chose me, Like I wasn't trying
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: to interest. He's like, why don't you choose Bailey the
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: one that was single? And he goes, you know, I
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: genuinely like nice girl, but I couldn't force it. I'm
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: not going to force something. I do think I could
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: see something with Yanna. And then Cooper's like, yeah, that's
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: not what she said to me. And I was like, dude,
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: just fucking take your pill and swallow it.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Like yeah, take the l hold that just we're no back.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: But also good TV, man.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Good TV, good TV. Okay, my game, I'm gonna call
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: my game, yes or no? Okay, all right now. Scenario
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: You're with Cassie and she goes, I've got I've got
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: a friend that she's been trying to tea up this
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: dinner with one of her really good friends for a
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: long time. She's having at dinner. All right, So you
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: guys go out for dinner. The couple rocks up. It's
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: her one of her heap's good friends that she's been
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: wanting you to meet for ages, and she's brought her boyfriend. Now.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Her boy friend is in every scenario one of these guys, right,
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: So it's like Cooper, Connor, Ross, Zach, Jotham, Mick. Yeah.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: I'm going to name a name, and I want you
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: to say yes or no on whether or not you
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: would say yes or no. Two after the date, Yeah,
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: after the double date, her friend's boyfriend, one of the
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: one of the boys from the island messages you, and
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: for this instance, because it's you, asks you to go
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: to the gym.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Okay, all right, go to the gym, all right?
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: Cooper no, Connor yeah, yeah, Ross, Yeah, Zach yeah, Jotham yeah,
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Mick no, Yeah, that was pretty good.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll go Zach.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: He seems like I'd go Zach. He seems pretty pretty goofy.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: He got a little weird before he left. In my opinion,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: one of my favorite moments. I felt bad for Bailey,
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: but he'd already kind of broken up with Bailey and
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: he's into shann He wants to let Sean know that
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: he's into it, so he makes an omelet and he goes.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: He brings it down and all the girls are there
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: and they're like, oh my god, look like Zach. To
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Bailey like, oh my god, look Zach, Like Bailey made you.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Bailey, Zach made you breakfast. And she's kind
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: of like, oh, no way. He walks over here Sean
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: and Sean goes, oh, it's for me, and he's like yeah.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: It was a voice of awkward.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: I've seen smooth matesesoo oh my gosh. But that was
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: the first week recaps of Love Island.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: Yes, so if you like to let us know in
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: the comments, please let us know if you want us
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: to keep watching it. It's a bit odd.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I'm not, I'm not.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: I'll watch it. Well, definitely, I'm watching it with Beth,
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: so it's good, so I'll definitely keep watching it if
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: everyone wants us to, Yeah, why not?
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Yeah? Bad is. It's time for the comments. If you

- 1:04:12Speaker 1: been really nice hearing you guys talk about your move
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: and how you're feeling about it. Well, best of luck

- 1:04:21Speaker 2: Yeah, let us know how it goes. I'm gonna not
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: that I complain about it, but I'm gonna stress myself
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: out less because at least we're not moving countries. Yeah. Wow,
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: I got Megan Berland. She said, I think the stretch.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Last week we spoke about the stretch. Remember that. So
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: I think the stretch is when men use a doorway
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: to stretch, like arms stretched up to the top of
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: the frame and leaning in.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Oh, I could see that I've.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Never done that, Like, I've never done That's not it?
