- 1:06welcome back to this week's episode of the podcast.
- 1:09Thank you so much for coming back and joining me today on
- 1:12this very special episode, one that I have been very, very
- 1:16excited about. First of all, just doing and,
- 1:20and being able to announce and, and, and sharing all this with
- 1:23you guys out here. This has been an episode that
- 1:28you know, this guest that we're having on here today, this week,
- 1:32highly respected individual, not by just myself, but in in in
- 1:37other heathen communities as well, at least here in the US
- 1:40that I know of. He has his own YouTube channel
- 1:43and online community on Facebook.
- 1:48He I want to say he still has a podcast.
- 1:52Not sure what his cadences. I'm putting content out.
- 1:56I haven't heard of anything new or recent, you know, very, very,
- 2:01you know, very recently. But his name is Eric Wordweaver
- 2:05Shervin. His show on YouTube was called
- 2:09the Ravens. Call his Facebook community
- 2:12online on, on, on. What do you call it?
- 2:15Facebook? Yeah.
- 2:15His Facebook community is called the Wordweaver Productions and
- 2:19he has an interactive group called Word Weaver community.
- 2:22All of that stuff is LinkedIn, the show notes for you guys to
- 2:25check out. If you are a first time listener
- 2:27or viewer here on the on the platform that you're catching
- 2:31this on, you don't know who I'm talking about.
- 2:33All of his stuff is going to be linked wherever you need to find
- 2:36it. Again, he is well known in the
- 2:39heathen community, has been a heathen for decades.
- 2:43He lives in East Texas. He's the Goli of the Hridgari or
- 2:46the Hridgar folk, a small group of a small tribe of East Texas
- 2:51heathens just kind of out there doing their thing the way
- 2:55heathens in Texas do. But he is going to be coming
- 2:59here on the show shortly to talk about a topic that, I mean, if
- 3:04we could, if we could say that there is a complex topic in
- 3:09heathenry, this would be one. I think that all heathens, no
- 3:13matter which type of heathen you are, could agree on.
- 3:17And that is the topic of the soul.
- 3:20What makes up the heathen soul? Or as we will come to find out,
- 3:25the soul complex itself, right? The various parts of the self,
- 3:29the various parts of the soul and, and kind of diving into a
- 3:32bit of each of those known things.
- 3:35Eric has some, some background with this particular topic.
- 3:40It's kind of one of his, say, specialties.
- 3:43It's one of his points of interest.
- 3:46It's not something he really likes to talk about.
- 3:47It actually really I, I think helped with like his, his, his
- 3:54prior career path, being in the, in the line of work that he was
- 3:59in, getting an understanding of the human psyche, the psychology
- 4:05aspect of things and just getting a, a, a sense of that
- 4:09from from that perspective. So we're going to be talking
- 4:11about that today. So buckle up, strap in, get
- 4:16ready for a ride with this one because if you are a seasoned
- 4:20heathen and you have your own world views around the
- 4:25complexities of the soul and, and what that is made-up of,
- 4:29you'll probably hearing a lot of familiar things today.
- 4:31If you are a newer heathen and you are looking for information
- 4:36or sort of a, a, a launching off point or or whatever to, to
- 4:41start building that understanding, you're in the
- 4:43right place. Eric is definitely a great
- 4:47resource to learn from when it comes to this particular topic,
- 4:51I feel, as well as other things. Again, if you want to check out
- 4:54more of his stuff, just head over to the his YouTube channel.
- 4:57It's going to be LinkedIn, the show notes of this podcast and
- 5:01watch all of his stuff that he's got in his in his in his back
- 5:05catalogue. You know, he may not be putting
- 5:06out new stuff, but his existing content, you know, it's still,
- 5:12it still measures up the stuff today.
- 5:17So before we get into that, we'll, we'll get him to come on
- 5:20here and introduce himself formally and, and all that for
- 5:24all you folks. But if, if you are new to this
- 5:27podcast, if you're listening to this on the audio platform,
- 5:30whichever audio platform you're listening on, thank you so much
- 5:33for for checking this podcast out.
- 5:35I hope you find it interesting and I hope it's beneficial and
- 5:38hope you learn stuff as we all are.

- 7:16for your constant and ongoing support to help keep these video
- 7:21versions of the show going strong.
- 7:25It's a little bright on the screen, but that's because I got
- 7:28my lighting a little bit different.
- 7:29And so anyway, nothing to be alarmed about, nothing to be
- 7:33concerned about. So yeah, guys and gals, that's
- 7:36what the show is going to be on this week.
- 7:39So like I said, it's going to be an interesting one.
- 7:41And Eric tends to be very thorough with his explanation of
- 7:47things. He is called the word Weaver for
- 7:49a reason. So I'm very much excited to have
- 7:52him on the show here and looking forward to our discussion.
- 7:54So without further ado, let's welcome in Eric Word Weaver.
- 7:58Shervin go the of the Ridge garfolk to the show.
- 8:04All right, folks, as I mentioned early on before Eric got here,
- 8:08I'm very excited to have back on this show here with me today.
- 8:13Eric Wordweaver, Shervin go the of the Ridgar folk and host of
- 8:17the Ravens Call show on YouTube and wherever else.
- 8:21Eric, welcome back to the show, man.
- 8:25Hey, thanks for having me man. It's been a minute, but I'm
- 8:27excited to be here. I'm excited to have you back.
- 8:30I thought I hit I I thought I'm like there was a pause there
- 8:32after I said welcome and I'm like, did I do something?
- 8:35Did did it already start glitching on me?
- 8:37Did it? There was a little bit of a lag,
- 8:39but we're good. OK, OK.
- 8:41Well, we're good, all right? We're we're we're good.
- 8:44So yes, Eric, here is I mentioned early on, Eric, you
- 8:47know, folks that have been listening or watching my show
- 8:51probably already know who you are.
- 8:53Your reputation precedes you and but for those folks that are
- 8:58going to be catching this, that are new or maybe don't know as
- 9:01much about you, would you feel free to introduce yourself
- 9:05please? Should I think, yeah, my name is
- 9:07Eric Shervin. I'm known as the word Weaver.
- 9:09That was a deed name that was given to me by my tribe back in
- 9:11the day. Whole deal on deed names is a
- 9:15big thing, but I, I earned that, went through my writing and
- 9:18through my storytelling and whatnot.
- 9:20I'm the Goli of the Rythgar tribe here in the East Texas
- 9:24area. We've been officially oathed as
- 9:27a tribe since 2010, still going strong.
- 9:32I wasn't the original leader of the tribe, but I am now.
- 9:35Our previous leader stepped down, but I've been the priest
- 9:38for the tribe the entire time. And of course, we use the Norse
- 9:43Icelandic term Goldie to represent that.
- 9:46And I know a number of your viewers will always already be
- 9:49familiar with that terminology, but the context in which we use
- 9:52it currently is kind of a conjoined Chieftain and priest
- 9:57class, the keeper of the altar and the Keeper of the rituals.
- 10:01And then I have different members that are responsible for
- 10:04different areas. I've got a Keeper of the Ways, a
- 10:06Keeper of the Lore, Keeper of the Shields.
- 10:09So, but yeah, I've been doing it.
- 10:12I've been producing content now for I've lost count several
- 10:18years. Several years I came across you
- 10:21when I first started, like 6 / 6 years ago.
- 10:24That's when I first came across. And I've been doing it for just
- 10:28a little bit. Before you, I'd actually only
- 10:32started maybe six months before you started yours.
- 10:38So it's been about the same length of time, six or seven
- 10:40years. But I've been here then
- 10:42essentially my entire life. I've known what to call it since
- 10:45I was a teenager, which was, you know, almost 30 years ago.
- 10:49So I've got several decades of it under my belt.
- 10:53I'm heading into the research, heading into ritual and
- 10:56theological elements. Yeah.
- 10:58I mean, anybody that's curious about it can go and check out
- 11:01the YouTube channel for my more in depth dives into various and
- 11:05a sundry parts of Heathenry and just kind of whatever, you know,
- 11:09sets my mind on fire, as it were.
- 11:12I am what you would call tribal heathen.
- 11:14I do use a tribal modality for the build of our the way we do
- 11:20things, which is a gathering of clans around a central unit that
- 11:24then is the tribe. And then that that's a whole
- 11:28different conversation. But yeah, that's, that's me.
- 11:30I've got a book out there, Saga Bjorn Thorofsen, which is a
- 11:36mixture of just storytelling, campfire stories that I wrote
- 11:41that helped to kind of pass down heathen virtues and mentality
- 11:45worldview, things like that. So if anybody's interested in
- 11:49that, it's up on Amazon and the Kindle store.
- 11:52And then I'm also on TikTok also as Eric Wordweaver.
- 11:56I believe that's more silly stuff, short bite sized things,
- 12:01the Youtubes where I'll do like my hour long diatribes.
- 12:04But yeah, that's that's me in a nutshell for the moment.
- 12:09Nice. Yeah, I did.
- 12:10I, I mentioned your YouTube and of course the, the, the Facebook
- 12:14community, the word Weaver community, Word Weaver
- 12:16productions. I think Word Weaver Productions.
- 12:19So people can join that group if they want to, right?
- 12:21If they want to? Oh yeah.
- 12:22Absolutely. Stations and.
- 12:25Yeah, it's a great networking. Yeah, I know for sure.
- 12:28I'm, I'm, I loved, you know, that I, I'm in the group.
- 12:32I've been in there for, I think as long as I've known about it,
- 12:34so several years at least. And I love how you use that as
- 12:40one of the tools to come up with content too.
- 12:43You know, you get people weighing in or asking questions
- 12:46and next thing you know, it becomes a, a video that you do
- 12:49later on. And we've, you know, we've,
- 12:53we've bounced ideas off each other.
- 12:55You've really helped. You've really helped like.
- 12:59Most of my. Videos me and other.
- 13:01Community or from the. Yeah, yeah, I and you've helped
- 13:07me and I know others too with the grassroots level of
- 13:12Heathenry. You know, when, when especially
- 13:14newer folks are coming in and they're looking for like minded
- 13:18people or they're, they're trying to figure out their way,
- 13:21ultimately, you know, it comes to conversation of well, who,
- 13:25you know, where are your people gathering?
- 13:27And if they're not people in the area, well, where can I find
- 13:29them? And I'm like, one of the things
- 13:31that you helped me with was if you aren't aware of people in
- 13:35the area, or maybe there's just not as many people, then, you
- 13:37know, put yourself out there, you know, kind of start, start
- 13:41that fire yourself and see who comes to gather around your,
- 13:45your fire, you know, which I love.
- 13:48Yep. So we've shared, you know there.
- 13:52Have been a couple of spin off groups that have come.
- 13:56Oh, yeah, I, I mean, I can say for sure that here in, in, in
- 13:59Middle Tennessee, like our group here, the clarity folk like 100%
- 14:07of inspiration from, from what I learned from, from watching your
- 14:10stuff and just paying attention, you know, and then more than
- 14:13that, but really, you know, picking your brain, getting to
- 14:17know you a bit. I appreciate our friendship, as
- 14:20it were from, from long distance getting a chance to, to talk.
- 14:23You know, you've, you've let me give you a call and we've, we've
- 14:26talked on the phones. So anyway, it's just, it's a
- 14:29great relationship. I appreciate you being here to
- 14:30talk today about our topic 'cause this is a topic that I
- 14:35think and I was going to ask you, you know, if you, if you
- 14:38were to put any amount of topics into a little bundle of things
- 14:44that can really twist your mind up when it comes to Heathenry,
- 14:49the complexities of the soul, the soul complex.
- 14:52Do you think that that belongs in that little bundle of just,
- 14:55we could go forever on this thing or we could, you could
- 14:58really get your mind twisted up like a pretzel with this.
- 15:03Do you think that that's a Safeway to say like put a way to
- 15:07put it? I I would absolutely say that it
- 15:10is of the mind noodles that are in Heathenry, the ones that are
- 15:15hardest to wrap the mind around and really get a full view on
- 15:18because they are so different because of worldview.
- 15:22The soul complex absolutely is one of the tops on that a deep
- 15:27actual understanding of like luck and or log is that's one
- 15:33that doesn't come unless you've really gotten into the weeds on
- 15:36it. And then there are a number of
- 15:38other ones. Some some of the more
- 15:40ritualistic elements are simple and straightforward.
- 15:44Others easy stuff in the Lord to find.
- 15:47But when it gets down to things like the soul complex, you got
- 15:50to do some digging to find the different elements.
- 15:53And then there's not a just handy list where it's all put
- 15:56together. So you kind of have to do your
- 15:58homework and put all of that into a thing in and of itself.
- 16:03And I gotta do it yourself. That's that's where the whole
- 16:05religion with homework comes in. Mm hmm.
- 16:09Yeah, Don't rely on just people to hand you the answers, even
- 16:14though there's a lot of, you know, there's a lot of folks
- 16:17that feel that being that way, right?
- 16:21Not giving somebody the answer is like, well, you know, how are
- 16:24you really helping them? I'm like, I think you're doing a
- 16:26better job of helping them by not just spoon feeding them
- 16:29answers, You know, like you can point them in a direction, you
- 16:32can maybe give them some bread crumbs to follow, But ultimately
- 16:36it it's going to be better off for that individual to find the
- 16:40answers themselves. Put the work in.
- 16:42You know, it's more gratifying that way because then you're
- 16:47like, man, all these hours, all the.
- 16:48Greatest skill I ever learned in school, The greatest, the
- 16:54greatest tool I ever learned in school was how to research.
- 16:57That was that was the key thing. So it's more important than
- 17:01teaching somebody the information is teaching them how
- 17:03to find it. That's that's where it comes in.
- 17:07Yeah. And you've done a good bit of
- 17:10research on the topic at question here today, which is
- 17:15real exploring the complexities of the soul from, you know,
- 17:19we'll say, we'll say a heathen worldview or from a heathen, you
- 17:23know, context or, or the, the conceptual worldviews, you know,
- 17:28of, of heathens. I know, if we really wanted to
- 17:31break it down and, and get into the weeds, we could say, well,
- 17:33you know, you know, Anglo-Saxon heathenry's going to have ways
- 17:37of looking at it that maybe are different than like say, N
- 17:40Icelandic, Scandinavian models of heathenry.
- 17:43But for the sake of time and the sake of trying to keep it as
- 17:47organize as we can for this show, we'll just say a heathen
- 17:52worldview of the complexities of the soul, the soul complex.
- 17:55Does that sound? Yeah, that that works for me
- 18:01because ultimately speaking, like anything within Heathenry,
- 18:04it comes down to a tribal view. You can research how different
- 18:08areas and different cultures looked at it, but ultimately
- 18:12what it boils down to is what does your tribe believe?
- 18:14How do you see it? What is your world view?
- 18:18And so that's how I like to take all of this and let it inform my
- 18:21worldview. But I do not allow what was how
- 18:26they did it to dictate how I go about it.
- 18:31Yeah, I like that way you say inform our worldview.
- 18:34You know, that seems to really make sense to me.
- 18:40You know, because how the Fridgar people are thinking or
- 18:42doing things is, is probably not exactly the same as first of
- 18:47all, it's not going to be the same as maybe individuals,
- 18:50right, Because there's a there's a tribal view of things and then
- 18:53there's individuals of the tribe that see things a certain way.
- 18:56So, so there's that. But then it's not, you know,
- 18:59that tribe not even going to be the same as as another Texas
- 19:02tribe or any other heathen tribe in the US or the world for that
- 19:05matter. So informed, yeah, having it
- 19:08inform our world view I think is a great way of looking at it.
- 19:14And so we will go into, I guess what are we even talking about
- 19:20with, you know, the soul complex.
- 19:21Most people that are that are seasoned heathens probably know
- 19:25some of the terminologies that we're going to be tossing around
- 19:27things like Hammer Huger, Filia, Hamingia or log things like
- 19:31that. But that that that really
- 19:36differs from somebody, you know, that has never heard these terms
- 19:40or even understands a multifaceted self.
- 19:44Most contemporary religions, the big ones at least, you know,
- 19:48view a, a, a dualistic sort of by, you know, a person in the
- 19:53soul are separate. They, you know, and it's one and
- 19:56two. Like there's, there's this
- 19:57duality. There's no multiple parts.
- 20:00So where do we go from there? What what would you say is like
- 20:05a a good jumping off point to, you know, to even start even
- 20:07thinking in that mindset? Well, the first thing, when it
- 20:16comes to understanding the heathen soul complex, and we do
- 20:21have a bit of a, like almost a 5 second lag here.
- 20:23So if we seem disjointed, that's what's going on here.
- 20:26There's just a little bit of a, a, a lag that's going on there.
- 20:31But when it comes to understanding the soul complex,
- 20:36it's I, I call it a complex for a reason.
- 20:39It is case in .1 of my good friends who's no longer with us,
- 20:42he's already crossed over to feast with his ancestors was Rod
- 20:45Landreth. Guy was brilliant, wonderful, go
- 20:48the newest stuff and he likened the soul complex to a car
- 20:53engine. And that's that all together,
- 20:57all these different pieces that go into the engine make the
- 21:01engine. They all have to work for the
- 21:03engine to work. If you've got anything that's
- 21:05out of whack, you've got anything that's not firing
- 21:08right, it can cause issues. If you've got something that's
- 21:11missing, the whole thing may not work at all.
- 21:13It may, it may putter along, but it ain't going to be right and
- 21:17it's definitely not going to be at full steam.
- 21:19So understanding the Heathen's soul complex, understanding the
- 21:24disparate parts that make up this conglomerate soul, it helps
- 21:29a Heathen understand and tweak their own way of doing things to
- 21:34to be able to better understand themselves and how that
- 21:38interacts with the different elements of Heathery.
- 21:40So one of the big things as far as a switch over in 'cause it's
- 21:44a big switch over in worldview, like you said, there's this
- 21:46duality of the body and soul element from more westernized
- 21:51thought. The actual like old school
- 21:54Heathen thought on the soul complex was that it's a bunch of
- 21:58different pieces and they're all one in the same.
- 22:01The only time we are ever ourselves, it's the only time I
- 22:04am ever Eric, is in this life when all of my soul elements are
- 22:08where they are. You know, if some of the soul
- 22:10elements may be borrowed from family members, they may be
- 22:13borrowed from the gods, they're borrowed from the land.
- 22:17All of these different pieces that come together to make me
- 22:20are only me when they are how they are.
- 22:25Take them apart and put them together in another
- 22:27configuration with different parts.
- 22:28You get a different car, so you get a different person.
- 22:32So there's that's part of why I see understanding the complexity
- 22:37of the soul as being so important.
- 22:42Gotcha. And in your, in your research,
- 22:48you kind of helped breakdown these various parts into
- 22:53relatable terms for, for folks in the modern day.
- 22:57So I think you broke it down to, you know, there's the mental,
- 23:00the spiritual, the physical, and there was another.
- 23:06Or log. Or log.
- 23:08Yeah. Which is another term that gets
- 23:11used in Heathenry a lot that for newcomers may be like, well,
- 23:14what's that, you know, and we, we can get into that.
- 23:17But your, you know, mental, physical, spiritual.
- 23:23How does that align with the terms that one might find when
- 23:27they do a Google search or find an article online and they see
- 23:30words like hammer, huger, filia, things like that.
- 23:36How would those terms, those Old Norse words line up with the.
- 23:40You broke down. Yeah.
- 23:45Each of those falls into a one of those categories.
- 23:48The hammer is a term that is typically referred to as the
- 23:53kind of spiritual body, the the spiritual membrane that
- 23:57encompasses the immaterial aspects of the soul complex,
- 24:02those things that are unseen which an old Anglo-Saxon word
- 24:06for that was the first. Some authors have referred to it
- 24:09as the ghost, but the hammer is the that that whole spiritual
- 24:14body which we most associate with things like astral
- 24:18projection. There are stories in the lore
- 24:21about practitioners who would send their hammer out into the
- 24:25world, and frequently it takes the same as abortion thereof,
- 24:33but it can also there according to some of the stories the
- 24:37practitioner can exert will and change that form.
- 24:40When you fall into something like the filia.
- 24:43The filgia is falls into what I categorize as the orlog side of
- 24:46things because it falls into that tangential things that are
- 24:51not necessarily part of the soul but are still intrinsic to the
- 24:54individual. The filgia being that guide,
- 24:58that spirit companion that walks alongside that individual.
- 25:03Usually it's tied at birth and is the conduit between that
- 25:08individual and their familial luck.
- 25:10The filia tends to be tied to a family line and follows
- 25:13individuals throughout their lives.
- 25:16Their role is to report back the deeds and actions of that
- 25:19individual to the well. They carry your weird into the
- 25:23well and then that becomes or log for future generations and
- 25:28then the huger. Huger is the thought side of the
- 25:32mind complex element. You've got the the min and the
- 25:38mind that pushes the mind to the mental parts.
- 25:40And then you've got the Hugo, which is the more rationalized
- 25:44active thought side of it. So it breaks down into almost
- 25:48hemispheric approaches when you get down into the weeds on it.
- 25:53Yeah, yeah. They're like little branches
- 25:55that kind of fringe off from the, from that main limb or that
- 25:58main trunk goes as it were. Yeah.
- 26:01You mentioned like Filia in that it's, it's in something of a
- 26:04familial connection. And I think you even said that
- 26:08it, you know, it follows the person.
- 26:10I think that's even a, a, a translation of the word Filia
- 26:14is, is follower. It doesn't quite equate to the
- 26:17same thing as like a, a, a spirit totem.
- 26:20So like, I think some people mistake that concept of like a
- 26:27spirit totem or a totem animal and, and the Phelia being the
- 26:30same thing. And it's, it's not exactly that
- 26:33they're you're, they can take animal form from like the lore.
- 26:38I think, you know, we hear like there, there are parts of the
- 26:41stories and some sagas where, you know, the Ophelia does take
- 26:43animal form. And then there's other parts
- 26:44that we hear of it being a, some, some somewhat directly
- 26:52connected with your, your, the, the DC or the, the, the feminine
- 26:58familial line, right? There are differing versions
- 27:05depending on how far you get into it.
- 27:07The filgia almost always takes on an animal form and is tied to
- 27:13an individual. Frequently you'll hear it called
- 27:15the fetch. An individual's fetch is that
- 27:18which is a companion that walks alongside them.
- 27:21The Hominya is seen as kind of a specialized fetch, which is the
- 27:27embodiment of a familial luck. Usually.
- 27:30The Hamidya is seen kind of almost in what we see in modern
- 27:34terms as a Valkyrie as far as an armor clad woman that is ready
- 27:39for battle and the stories that we have it represented in.
- 27:44She comes upon the death of one patriarch or matriarch of a clan
- 27:49and seeks out the next heir, the one that would take the mantle,
- 27:54which is not necessarily a direct bloodline.
- 27:56It's the next individual who would be like the leader of the
- 27:59clan, the next one who would just be the natural head of
- 28:03household, as it were. In case in point, like when my
- 28:07great grandmother passed away, my grandmother kind of took on
- 28:11that role as leader of the family.
- 28:15And I would say that she inherited the hamonya of the
- 28:18family. And it can be as a clan level
- 28:24and it can be there. There's an act of will element
- 28:27of it in that it's not necessarily something that's
- 28:31just automatically inherited when the hominya comes.
- 28:34It can be rejected. We've had stories where a would
- 28:37be Prince or would be next in line rejected the hominya and
- 28:43then it went on to the next one in the in the familial line.
- 28:47But there's also Kinfetch, which is a straight familial version
- 28:54thereof, that it is just kind of a communal entity that an
- 29:00individual can tie into and is kind of a keeper of the familial
- 29:05luck and the family story, as it were.
- 29:08If the filgia is the keeper of your story, then the Kinfetch
- 29:11would be the family story keeper if if that makes any kind of
- 29:15sense. Yeah, kind of almost like a
- 29:19guardian of the of the family, right?
- 29:22Not just the individual of the family, but the family as a
- 29:25whole. Right at that point, the, the
- 29:32fetch or Filgate would be kind of an emissary of the kin fetch
- 29:36as it were. But the Hamonya is something
- 29:39that is completely separate. The Kinfetch has been known to
- 29:42take either humanoid form or animal form.
- 29:45The Filia almost always takes animal form.
- 29:48The Hamenya always seemingly takes that almost Valkyrie like
- 29:52warrior woman in the, in the stuff that I found in the, in
- 29:55the research that I've done over the years.
- 29:57And then all of that kind of boils together in that they are
- 30:01the gatekeepers to the family luck.
- 30:04And you can offend your Filia. You can drive it away and in so
- 30:10doing, and that's you do that through deeds, through damaging
- 30:17the gefrain of the family, the reputation of the family.
- 30:20Bringing bad weird into the well can cause that filgia to
- 30:25distance itself from you and catch you off from that family
- 30:28line. And that's where you end up
- 30:29finding these people that just seem to have no luck and cannot
- 30:32seem to tap into the family luck because they've been cut off, as
- 30:35it were. So yeah, it's a whole thing.
- 30:39Yeah, yeah. And that does help, like you
- 30:42say, inform our our world views on things because so much of
- 30:47what we might see going on in our lives and the lives of those
- 30:52around us only, you know, especially for new folks coming
- 30:56into Heathenry, they may have come in with a like a
- 31:00preconceived notion of just the unseen realms of things, you
- 31:04know, either from a previous religion or from an upbringing
- 31:08or whatever. So learning about all of these
- 31:11things is, is definitely helping inform them of, of how to
- 31:15perceive the world around them in things that are not seen with
- 31:19our naked eye, with our physical eye.
- 31:22You know, like you said, you know, when, when you know
- 31:26somebody's luck is, is bad, right?
- 31:29They, they, they just, they just can't seem to get out of a bad
- 31:32situation no matter what. You know, our informed worldview
- 31:36through things like this could could be like, well, we see that
- 31:40as heathens. We see that as their, their, you
- 31:44know, their luck has left their, their Armenia's is abandoned
- 31:48them, their, their, their fetch, their Filia is, is as has has
- 31:52left them, you know, and we, it also helps inform us of what
- 32:03happens after this shell. This, I guess the hammer would
- 32:08be the the term that we would use for our shape, right,
- 32:13Because it can, it can include the like you say, the the the
- 32:17part of the self that can be shape shifted or changed.
- 32:21But are it would the hammer, would the hammer include the
- 32:24physical body? Would would the would that,
- 32:28would that fall into that physical category, do you think
- 32:31or from what you know? We're cracking up.
- 32:35I'm not catching all of that. OK, so the Hummer, the part of
- 32:40the body, the part of the soul, I guess the part of the soul
- 32:42complex which is the Hummer, OK, is.
- 32:48That Hummer goes into the spiritual side of things because
- 32:50it's part of the immaterial, the physical.
- 32:53The only real thing that I put into the physical is the lich,
- 32:57which is the body, the physical body.
- 33:01And then there is a tie between the physical body and the
- 33:07spiritual body, which is the Hummer, which is frequently seen
- 33:11as a thread that is tied between the two.
- 33:14And that's why when the Hummer leaves the body to go out and
- 33:18walk or is projected out, the body is left in animated.
- 33:23It is left in a kind of static coma type status stasis because
- 33:30that animated force that is the hammer has exited and the
- 33:33consciousness travels with that. And then the shape shifting
- 33:38element of that is that with exertion of the will, which is
- 33:41another part of the mental side of the soul complex, that
- 33:49exertion of will with a practiced individual who knows
- 33:52their stuff, can influence the shape that the hammer takes on
- 33:56when it goes walking. It's a very dangerous thing to
- 33:59do though, because any kind of damage or danger that befalls
- 34:03the hammer, well, it's away from the lich, has a direct impact on
- 34:07the lich, on the on the living body.
- 34:10When it returns, like when the hammer returns to the lich.
- 34:16Yeah, right. Yeah, and if it's cut off then
- 34:21the lich never wakes up kind of thing.
- 34:24Yeah, yeah, you're like in a coma, for lack of a better term.
- 34:29Yeah. That's the way I would see it.
- 34:31You know, when the body is not like there's there's brain
- 34:35activity, like the heart is beating, there's brain activity,
- 34:38but there's no animation. The hammer has left the fetch or
- 34:43the lich. Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 34:45Yeah. The driver's not in the car
- 34:46anymore. That's.
- 34:49A good, good way of putting it, you know, and that, and that
- 34:52really touches on things that don't really get talked about
- 34:57in, like I say, other contemporary religions.
- 34:59So having all of this inform the worldview when we're, when we're
- 35:02moving into a heathen lifestyle or, or heathen way of thinking
- 35:08really helps. So it also I think informs
- 35:13people on what happens after, like after death.
- 35:17And when I say death, I mean the the, the, the lich is inanimate
- 35:23and there is no life returning to that form.
- 35:26The the the what parts of the soul have first of all
- 35:31extinguished entirely, and what parts of the soul continue to
- 35:35live on in what ways? In my personal view, the way
- 35:40that I've seen it and the way that I've done the research, I
- 35:42don't know that any actually extinguish entirely.
- 35:45It seems like the different soul complex.
- 35:48It's kind of like the law of conservation of energy.
- 35:50Law of conservation of matter seems to continue in this
- 35:53spiritual realm. Those elements that are no
- 35:55longer connected to the Lish then break up and return to
- 35:59their respective ecosystems. There are things like the world
- 36:03or the Otter that are received from the gods.
- 36:07The that breath of life, or like with the term woe, it's the
- 36:12divine madness, that spark of creativity, that thing that sets
- 36:16us apart from the other Pharah or the the other Vaitier.
- 36:20There's a Pharah soul element that is seen as that part of us
- 36:25that is the Styx of Ashkenmbla. If you look at the story of
- 36:31olden creating ask and emblem, you got old and older Lord that
- 36:37breathe life, give form and shape and mentality to mankind.
- 36:43What takes place in sacred time? Sacred space is instantaneous
- 36:46for the gods, but it plays out differently in profane time.
- 36:49In profane space, which is where we exist, we would see that take
- 36:52place over an extended period of time, and we would see that in
- 36:57the form of evolution, the active act of creation and
- 37:01shaping and twisting that the gods have done would manifest
- 37:05itself. We would perceive that as
- 37:06evolution over generational time.
- 37:08So the Farrah element is that sole element that is tied to the
- 37:14land. That's the Vaitir spirit that we
- 37:16came from, wherein the gods laid over all of these other
- 37:20elements. And then when we die, those
- 37:22things all kind of go back to where they were.
- 37:25The Pharaoh spirit will return to the Vaitir.
- 37:27That's the part that would linger on and perhaps become
- 37:30Lambda tier or get tied to a specific area.
- 37:34You'll find a lot of references in some of the family lines
- 37:38about like great grandfathers and stuff that have taken up
- 37:42denizen in a certain section of land where their soul continues
- 37:46to reside. Well, that's that part of the
- 37:47soul that remains there. And you've also got the lich,
- 37:49which is again part of the soul because it's all, it's all
- 37:53interconnected. It's not separate.
- 37:55It's all just one jumbled thing that returns the ecosystem of
- 37:59midgut that goes back into the land, into the the physical
- 38:02material plane, and then the mental elements would break up
- 38:07and dissipate into respective areas.
- 38:10If there's anything that could be said to dissipate, 1 might
- 38:13think that it might be the huger and moon, which are of course
- 38:18correlate to Huguen and Moon and for obvious reasons.
- 38:21But that's active thought and memory aspects of the soul.
- 38:25But there are references therein to like there's a term orthonck,
- 38:30which is basically the orthot or the familial familial memory
- 38:38that that ancestral memory that we can tap into where it seems
- 38:42like we almost have a tie to ancestral memories and thoughts
- 38:47and the way to do things. And that can be accessed through
- 38:51altered states of consciousness and through deep meditation
- 38:54aspects like that. That has to come from somewhere,
- 38:57and so more than likely those sole elements return to that
- 39:02kind of a well of energy that's tied to the familial line, who
- 39:05is kept by the filgia, the Ha Menya, the kinfech that keep all
- 39:10of those things and help to parse them out.
- 39:13That also goes into the element of rebirth because there is a
- 39:18reincarnation belief within Heathenry.
- 39:19It's limited, but there is one because they thought of naming a
- 39:24child after an ancestor was thought to bring an element of
- 39:27that ancestor's soul into that person.
- 39:30Some would say that, you know, it's like, Oh well, we've named
- 39:33him after great granddad, so he's great granddad reborn.
- 39:35It's like, no, that's not really what it was.
- 39:38You gave them the name in hopes that a a part of that soul
- 39:41element would come to him from great grandfather.
- 39:44It's inviting an element of great grandfather's soul complex
- 39:47into this body in hopes that the better parts would be there,
- 39:53that that this individual would gain the strength and vitality
- 39:58that this ancestor had. And thus they are reborn in
- 40:02future generations through that. And genetics carries that out.
- 40:07We see that in from a scientific standpoint of traits and, you
- 40:12know, characteristics that are carried on in future
- 40:15generations, again tying to that whole ancestral conglomerate
- 40:20thought approach. Yeah, no, no, you said.
- 40:25HRLS Davidson Rd. to hell HRLS Davidson Excellent source for
- 40:31post mortem traditions and thought processes regarding
- 40:35either. Yeah, yeah.
- 40:38As a matter of fact, I want to say it was from something I read
- 40:42from HRLS Davidson or maybe another source, but I, I want to
- 40:47say it was, was, was, was, was Davidson talking about the, the,
- 40:53the burial mounds, right? And why it was so important and
- 40:56why it was so critical in, in the north dramatics.
- 41:02People's reasoning to keep the families remains their, their,
- 41:09their bodies buried nearby is because there was this belief
- 41:14and, and there was this understanding that if they were
- 41:16on those lands and they could continue to provide sort of a, a
- 41:22guardian, you know, they, they could oversee the property, the
- 41:25homestead as it were, right? They could, they could be there
- 41:29beyond death and, and they had a home, they had somewhere that
- 41:32they could go and, and, and the descendants, the living could
- 41:35connect with them better through whether it was Utteseta, if that
- 41:39was a thing that they did. But they were there on the land.
- 41:41And so dying away from home, whether it was at sea or on the
- 41:46battlefield and some foreign land or whatever, you know it
- 41:49was, it was not really by the common, by the by, by the common
- 41:53people at least like it wasn't widely wanted.
- 41:55They didn't want to die away from home.
- 41:58They wanted to be on their land so to be buried on those old
- 42:01lands. So that way their remains,
- 42:04everything about them, could continue to be close with the
- 42:09family and they could continue to be like overseers.
- 42:13The mound itself serves as the gateway to the halls of the
- 42:16ancestors. The metaphor of sitting at feast
- 42:20with the ancestors and death, that is that soul element, the
- 42:24familial element of the soul returning and being a part of
- 42:28that family. Soul soup, for lack of a better
- 42:31term. And the mound is the gateway to
- 42:35it. It's also the tether.
- 42:36So the entire tradition of Utheseta as far as when it came
- 42:40to like kings that would go and sit on the burial mounds of
- 42:44previous kings was in hopes to commune with that spirit and
- 42:48gain wisdom and insight therefrom.
- 42:51It's you go and knock on the door and see if anybody's home
- 42:55and hope that they answered. And we see that carried out into
- 42:59some of the sagas too because we've had reference to some of
- 43:02the Yolton that were mound sitting.
- 43:05So this was a thought process that carried across that.
- 43:08The mound was kind of a gateway access point to the other side,
- 43:13the doorway to the underworld, as it were, and the hall of the
- 43:19ancestors wherein 1 hopes to go and sit.
- 43:21Those soul elements would go into that.
- 43:24There is a physical proximity to it.
- 43:26When you're dealing with old, old lands where ancestors and
- 43:29family members are all buried in the same land, you are literally
- 43:33breaking that permeable membrane of the Earth's soil, going into
- 43:37the underworld and communing there.
- 43:43Warriors that died in battle didn't have access to that.
- 43:46They didn't get to go through the mound and enter into the
- 43:51ancestral hall. So the hall of the slain, those
- 43:56that fell in battle, that was the warrior's grave.
- 44:00That was the gateway to Valhalla.
- 44:03That was kind of the differential there.
- 44:05Valhalla came up as a hall for those that died away from those
- 44:09old lands that didn't have that straight soul connection there.
- 44:14Now, ultimately speaking, there's differing viewpoints,
- 44:17there's differing interpretations thereof as far
- 44:20as access points and things like that goes.
- 44:23But from a, from breaking down the terminology and looking at
- 44:27the traditions in view of like mound culture, cause Road to
- 44:32Hell does an excellent job of breaking down the progression of
- 44:36Germanic, North Icelandic burial processes 'cause it was there's
- 44:41inhumation, cremation and the mound culture, which is a form
- 44:46of inhumation, which is the burial process.
- 44:49And so there was a period in time where they were buried in
- 44:53vertical graves standing up or in a crouching position.
- 44:57There was a period of time where they were cremated and then
- 45:00buried. There is some reference to
- 45:03cremation that took place with ashes scattered or rejoined with
- 45:08the land that we can't really find physical remnants of
- 45:10because of the very nature of that kind of, you know,
- 45:14posthumous practice. There's nothing left behind to
- 45:17review. But mound culture gives us a
- 45:20great deal of information. And if you look at mound
- 45:23practices, the mound was there's the mound itself is built around
- 45:27traditionally a compartment, a small building that the body was
- 45:33carried into. And the body was frequently
- 45:35carried in through the side of this little how and it was
- 45:40closed up there and everybody exited through the door.
- 45:44The idea was that if any of that animating force remained with
- 45:49the body, then that's how a drauger would be made.
- 45:54And the drauger are just the lich that has remnants of the
- 45:59animating force, that life force that gives the the driving spark
- 46:06to the body but lacks the other soul elements that made the
- 46:09individual who they were. You might have some residual
- 46:12huger and moon elements that would be residual within the
- 46:17brain, those things that would correlate between the unseen
- 46:21mind and thought aspects that are mapped into what we
- 46:24understand today as the neurons within the brain and the
- 46:28mapping. So those things would remain,
- 46:31but they would be gross functions.
- 46:32They would be greater, just like obtuse elements of the
- 46:38personality, which I think is how we get a certain amount of
- 46:41the, like, Drauger come back and they're seen as, you know, super
- 46:44strong and 'cause they don't have the mental stopgaps to keep
- 46:48them from using everything they've got.
- 46:52But also they're a shade of themselves.
- 46:57And usually they're the more base functions, not the more
- 47:01ornate thoughts, abstract thoughts, things like that.
- 47:03It's the more base functions. And there's frequently an
- 47:06aggressive element to that. So they would bring them in to
- 47:09the side, exit through the front in hopes that if the Drauger did
- 47:12indeed wake, it would be disoriented and not come through
- 47:16the door, 'cause it's gonna go try to go the way that it came
- 47:18in, but there's a wall there. And then they would bury that.
- 47:22Yeah, yeah, it makes me think of like one, like there there's
- 47:26like, I'm glad you mentioned the drogger thing because it goes
- 47:29into like, again, we're talking about complexities of the soul
- 47:32and what happens to us, what part of us, what happens to us
- 47:37when we die. And like the whole drogger thing
- 47:40like that, that that's how you get a drogger.
- 47:42You know, like there there's, there's things that can happen
- 47:44that's you want a drogger, Well, that's how you get a drogger.
- 47:46And it makes me think of I think it's that the Helgevita Hun Ding
- 47:52Gisbana Helgi hung Dingsbana something like it's, it's it's
- 47:58in the Poetic Ed, I think. But he was, he goes to Valhalla,
- 48:02right? And he's kind of like Odin's
- 48:04like right hand guy, like Odin's like take care of stuff while
- 48:07I'm gone. And he ends up like making his
- 48:08enemy like clean the horse stalls or muck the pig stalls or
- 48:11do all this like really dishonorable, like mundane
- 48:15crappy stuff. But he's described as as being
- 48:18like covered in blood or water, just looking really rough and,
- 48:22and having all of this just like dastardly looks about him.
- 48:26And there was, I think that's a description of one sort at least
- 48:32in the like one of the, one of the one of the pieces of lore
- 48:35that that we can say was he was, he was probably a drowger that.
- 48:41Would not be much of A stretch. Yeah, but I was wondering too,
- 48:47like you were, we were talking, I think it was just a little
- 48:51while ago there there was something that came up, Oh,
- 48:56naming, right. Talking about, you know,
- 48:59honoring past family members and, and and giving them their
- 49:02name as sort of like a way of, of bringing that family member,
- 49:07keeping that family member live on.
- 49:09You know, I'm sure like there's, there's also an active way of of
- 49:14like the opposite of that, you know, like, well, we don't want
- 49:18that part of the family line to continue and to put that like to
- 49:23lock that thing away, you know? Name would be stricken from the
- 49:27records. Yeah, you know, like, Oh well,
- 49:29we don't want to talk about Granddad 'cause he was not that
- 49:32great of a person or something, you know, like that name.
- 49:34Would be cursed. Yeah, I've had people ask about
- 49:37that too. When it comes to 'cause we, we
- 49:39talk about, you know, and this, this a little bit goes hand in
- 49:42hand with the soul complex where we talked, you know, he didn't
- 49:44talk a lot of the time about ancestor veneration, you know,
- 49:47and inevitably one of the things that come up for at least for me
- 49:50has been, well, does that mean all the ancestors?
- 49:53And I'm like, no, you know, not everybody that you know,
- 49:57nowadays is a good person and is worth mentioning.
- 49:59And not all of our ancestors have been great people and and
- 50:03are necessarily worth, you know, having holding in high esteem.
- 50:10There's a yes and no to that. And this is something I do get
- 50:14into with people when it comes to ancestral veneration.
- 50:16It's like, yes, of course there are individuals whose specific
- 50:19deeds may not have brought good weird into the well.
- 50:24It may not have fed. It may have actually done damage
- 50:27to the family luck or the gift rain of the family.
- 50:31They're standing. But but that doesn't omit them
- 50:36from veneration entirely, because there is something that
- 50:42is commendable and to which we owe them.
- 50:47Because if they are Direct Line, then the choices they made, good
- 50:52or bad, led to the next generation being there.
- 50:57That or log that the next generation inherited, neither
- 51:00made better or worse by their own actions and deeds, was a
- 51:04direct gift from that previous generation.
- 51:07They may have been a horse thief and they may have been a vile
- 51:10individual. We may not like everything they
- 51:13did, but they carried the torch for a little bit and we got to
- 51:17appreciate the fact that they carried the torch because if
- 51:19they didn't pass it off, we wouldn't be here.
- 51:22So that's one of the things that I really kind of hone into with
- 51:25ancestral veneration is you don't necessarily have to like
- 51:27everything they did, but we do have to appreciate that if they
- 51:31didn't carry the torch for their part of the relay, we wouldn't
- 51:34be here. Like if, if an ancestor hadn't
- 51:38decided to come to America where they when they did, then my
- 51:44grandfather probably wouldn't have met my grandmother, and
- 51:47then my grandmother and grandfather wouldn't have had my
- 51:49dad. And if they didn't have my dad,
- 51:51then I wouldn't be here. Every deed, every action that
- 51:54comes before is a direct causal effect on the lifespan of the
- 51:59individual. Now that is or log.
- 52:02Everything that comes before is what we have inherited.
- 52:05Is it always the best in the world?
- 52:07No. Is it always the greatest in the
- 52:09world? No.
- 52:11But we have it. You have an or log you have
- 52:16inherited and it may not be the shiniest thing in the world, but
- 52:20you know, if you got a hand me down car from dad at the age of
- 52:2216 and it's a beater and it's barely kept together, but your
- 52:26family can't afford to get you a new car.
- 52:28You can't afford to go out and get a new thing.
- 52:30This thing may be a beater that you know, you've got to knock it
- 52:34just the right way for the thing to start.
- 52:38It's still a car. You still have a car, and you
- 52:41can be ungrateful and you can say meh, blah, blah, blah, blah,
- 52:45but then you're walking. Yeah.
- 52:49You can't appreciate the fact that you have a clunker car.
- 52:53It may not be the the, It may not be a Ferrari.
- 52:55It may not be a Mustang, but you have a car.
- 52:58Yeah. So we may not have inherited the
- 53:01greatest Orlog in the world, but we got an Orlog.
- 53:05And to that point, and I've taken what I've learned from or
- 53:08log and, and I've learned myself.
- 53:10I, I, I took point from some of the things that I've heard from
- 53:13you over the past. Is that sure?
- 53:16OK, so you got this clunker, right?
- 53:17You got this beater, you got this thing that really ain't all
- 53:20pretty and shiny, but it's what you inherited, right?
- 53:24So that's, or log then what you do, what you pour in, what you
- 53:28add to it, the work you do the to, to get new tires, to Polish
- 53:32it up, to get a new engine to do all that.
- 53:35It, it, it changes that the, the layer is now it's, it's
- 53:39different now. Like there's, there's a base
- 53:41layer that has improved you, you've kind of cleaned out the
- 53:44waters a little bit. I, I, I think you've used the
- 53:47term like if it's all muddy and it's all sediment, if you keep
- 53:50stirring it up, it's going to stay dirty.
- 53:51Well, the clearer the water you add, the more good you add to
- 53:54the well. Eventually you're going to have
- 53:56all of this good that has accumulated and all that muck is
- 53:59going to settle and it's going to be so far at the autumn that
- 54:03you now you may have, you started with a clunker, you may
- 54:06have started with that and beat up oily piece of junk.
- 54:08But you've added good to it, you've worked on it, you've
- 54:13improved it, and now you've got a or, you know, a reliable mode
- 54:17of transportation, maybe even a nice one, you know?
- 54:21You nail, you nail the relationship between weird and
- 54:24or log specifically, that's where this metaphor was going
- 54:27and you just followed straight with it.
- 54:28And I love it 'cause that's, that's where I'm going.
- 54:32You inherit this thing. This is the oil log that you
- 54:34get. Every action you take is your
- 54:39weird. It's your action, it's what you
- 54:41are doing. It's the active force of the
- 54:43now. And everything that you do to
- 54:46that car is reflected in that car now.
- 54:49It becomes part of that car. The car is still the OR log.
- 54:52The car is still that inheritable thing, but every
- 54:55tweak of the wrench, every coat of paint, every hour spent
- 54:59buffing, every part swapped out is your active actions of
- 55:03bettering that which you have inherited in the hopes that you
- 55:08can then pass that one on to your descendant and it becomes
- 55:12their or log. It was your weird while you were
- 55:15working on it, but now it's their OR log because they have
- 55:17inherited this car. The Well of weird, of course, is
- 55:21the imagery in the metaphor that's utilized within the lore.
- 55:24The idea being that Orlog is that first layer, that primal
- 55:29layer upon which everything else is built.
- 55:31The actions and deeds of the world drip down as do from
- 55:35Idrisil, and the Norns are the tenders of the well they're
- 55:41mixing and they are working with.
- 55:49Froze up for a second. There's a bit of a lag.
- 55:52Our deeds and actions feed into the well, are recorded into the
- 55:56well to become part of that water, and then that water is
- 55:59used to feed the tree. Our deeds and actions maintain
- 56:02reality, feed that world tree, and then the cycle continues.
- 56:06It is a flow that follows the whole water cycle thing of into
- 56:12the well, out through the trees and the branches and then back
- 56:15down it, and it's a gathering of all those deeds and actions.
- 56:19The Norns, again, that's another thing that I've done since I did
- 56:22my initial research, is an understanding that the Norns
- 56:25themselves, what we see UR, Ferdande and Schuld recorded in
- 56:29the lore. I actually see the Norns like
- 56:31those titles as titles, not as individual goddesses.
- 56:35The idea being that there seem to be as many Norns as there are
- 56:39different races and they seem to be tied to clan level or
- 56:44familial level. My personal belief is that
- 56:47Urfande in school, the Norns are titles that are taken on by
- 56:52decier spirits and their job is the keeping of an integrating of
- 56:58our deeds and actions in the Well of Weird and making sure
- 57:02that that they're they're the keepers of the well of weird.
- 57:06They are the ones that actively maintain and make sure that that
- 57:10is feeding back into acresil, which keeps the family line
- 57:13alive. It keeps us feeding back into
- 57:16the world. It keeps all of those energies
- 57:18in constant flow. And so that's that's a that it's
- 57:24like a soul. It's a familial soul element
- 57:28that has taken on an Uber specialized role within that
- 57:32familial soul complex. Yeah, I concur.
- 57:36I concur with that 100%. I, I, I think there's a lot of
- 57:39other folks that have found similar things and that the Norn
- 57:44or nor near like again there as many of them.
- 57:46It ain't just the three that you hear that are named in the
- 57:50Valuspa or wherever you know, like I say, those are could just
- 57:54be titles representing past, present, future, right.
- 57:58What was, what is happening? What shall happen?
- 58:03That, that concept, you know, and I like how you said the,
- 58:06the, the, the, the cyclical, you said something like how, how,
- 58:11how the, you know, obviously the dew dripping off of the limbs of
- 58:14Igdracil are, are, are dripping. And then the Norns are, are the
- 58:17ones tending to that well, but it's cyclical.
- 58:20You know, there's, there's all of this thing that's happening.
- 58:23You know, it reflects in nature, right?
- 58:25So it again, it, it, it calls back to when we as beings, the
- 58:31various complex parts of ourselves, when they dissipate,
- 58:35when they go to their various places, we are really never
- 58:38truly gone. It's just like in nature when a
- 58:41tree falls, the tree in that form has felt, has fallen, but
- 58:47the tree itself is it, it becomes part of everything else.
- 58:51The mycelium network carries things to feed other trees.
- 58:54There's decomposition that feeds the earth.
- 58:57There's life that is brought back in other form.
- 59:01And same same with us. There's there's really no
- 59:04extinguishing us as we are the the complex beings that we are
- 59:11it it just gets son of delegated shifted dissipated in in various
- 59:14ways. Right.
- 59:16We stopped being who we are in the here and now because that
- 59:20specific mix is done, that specific mix is dissipated, The
- 59:24parts are broken up. Voltron is no longer the robot.
- 59:28The Black Lion's gone over here. The Red Lion's gone over there.
- 59:30We are then the parts, we're no longer that synergistic.
- 59:35The parts, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
- 59:38That part is done. So that is what life for us on
- 59:42Midgard is. That is that blip in time
- 59:46wherein all of these parts come together to make us in the here
- 59:49and now. And this is the only life we get
- 59:53like this, which is why you get into life affirming versus life
- 59:58denying a lot of westernized religions.
- 1:00:02Are life or world denying indicating that the true life is
- 1:00:08in the afterlife, that the time on the material plane is
- 1:00:12preparation for eternal life in the afterlife?
- 1:00:16Heathenry was very much different, where the polar
- 1:00:18opposite were life affirming, world affirming.
- 1:00:20This is the life, this is the existence, this is the only time
- 1:00:25all of these bits and pieces are together to make you, you will,
- 1:00:30your bits and pieces survive on. Sure.
- 1:00:33You know when, When the tree breaks down and is broken up
- 1:00:36into the earth, it becomes the plants, it becomes the flowers,
- 1:00:38it becomes the soil, it, you know, feeds the air, It is
- 1:00:42recycled in that cyclical continuation of life.
- 1:00:47Same thing with the soul elements.
- 1:00:48The soul elements break apart and continue in their specific
- 1:00:52ecosystems. Within that cycle.
- 1:00:53They get farmed out somewhere else.
- 1:00:55A lot of times when I find people talk about past life
- 1:00:58regression, I don't fully jive with the modern westernized
- 1:01:03concept of past life regression because somebody will come along
- 1:01:06and be like, well, I was a, a warrior in ancient China and I
- 1:01:10was, you know, like Xiaoyun or something like that.
- 1:01:12I'm like, no, you might share that soul element.
- 1:01:16There may be an element of your soul that comes from that
- 1:01:19because that's just what was spun out into the blender that
- 1:01:23made you, which very much means that yes, after a fashion, it's
- 1:01:28a past life, but it's not like it's a past life of your entire
- 1:01:32being. It's a it's a memory, an echo
- 1:01:36that's carried along with that specific soul element.
- 1:01:39It's like the old, well, the old folk tale of, you know, cut off
- 1:01:44a hand and you get a new hand, but all of a sudden this hand
- 1:01:46knows how to play piano. It's that whole residual memory
- 1:01:51element of things. So a lot of times when I find
- 1:01:54people talking about past life regression with their actually
- 1:01:57experiencing from the way I see things, caveat, people don't
- 1:02:01come at me. Everybody has their own view and
- 1:02:04their own experience. But my personal interpretation
- 1:02:07of that is that they've tapped into an echo from a certain soul
- 1:02:12element and that they are replaying that echo and
- 1:02:15experiencing that echo within their current consciousness.
- 1:02:18And that is integrated therein because it is a part of that
- 1:02:24soul echo, because it may be something that that soul element
- 1:02:28went through. It is or log because it does
- 1:02:33inform who you are and what you are.
- 1:02:36The different soul elements all bring their bits and pieces
- 1:02:39together. We know about the the really
- 1:02:42palpable or log, which is, you know, our ancestors, what came
- 1:02:46before, the causality that leads to us here and now.
- 1:02:49We are also with some of our parts, so those differing soul
- 1:02:52elements all play in, which is how you get the different
- 1:02:57personalities, the different individualities within a family
- 1:03:00line. And we're not all just carbon
- 1:03:02copies of previous generations. That's where you get the new.
- 1:03:05That's how you get these family lines integrated.
- 1:03:07Plus, every time you blend family lines, you're blending
- 1:03:11those OR logs together. You're inheriting not only the
- 1:03:14OR log from your father's line, but also from your mother's
- 1:03:17line. And, and can I also say that
- 1:03:22there is a blend with regards to non bloodline.
- 1:03:31So like fostering or adoption or things like that.
- 1:03:36There's, it's like being grafted into the tree, as it were.
- 1:03:40A lot of people, like a lot of people don't give credit.
- 1:03:42I don't think heathens, especially like it's not, it's
- 1:03:44not talked enough about this, this idea of, of, of fostering
- 1:03:48adoption, any of those types of things because they think that,
- 1:03:54well, I got to know who my blood ancestors are my, where, where I
- 1:03:57can trace my DNA back to. It's like man who raised you,
- 1:04:01who was your family, who looked after you, who taught you
- 1:04:03everything they, they knew and gave you those life skills or,
- 1:04:08or, you know, brought you up in, in that way or whatever.
- 1:04:11Like that's your family, you know?
- 1:04:13You get dual or locked through this process.
- 1:04:16Fostering was a huge thing in Old Norse and Germanic practice.
- 1:04:22There were is so much so that it was seen as an honor to raise
- 1:04:26another individual's child in your home because you are
- 1:04:29grafting the orlogs. You absolutely are.
- 1:04:31You cannot deny the fact that the child inherited the orlog
- 1:04:34from the birth parents. They inherited the orlog that
- 1:04:38they were born with that fed and shaped their lives and will
- 1:04:43continue to feed and shape their lives throughout their lives.
- 1:04:46But the act of fostering or adoption grafts them into a new
- 1:04:50OR log line. You are actively raised and
- 1:04:54taught by a family, you are integrated into their hearth,
- 1:04:58into their CIB and you are very much brought in spiritually into
- 1:05:04their familial line in the OR log.
- 1:05:06So everything that they teach you was taught to them, was
- 1:05:09taught to their predecessors and so on and so forth.
- 1:05:12You are inheriting all of the benefits of their or log
- 1:05:16everything that came before the very moment they started raising
- 1:05:19you or teaching you. You're inheriting that.
- 1:05:22Same thing with apprenticeships because when you took on an
- 1:05:25apprenticeship from a master, you were grafted into their line
- 1:05:29because they are teaching you a craft, they are honing that
- 1:05:32thing into you. Now it's very specialized in
- 1:05:34this case versus fostering or adoption, which is at a familial
- 1:05:38level where they're bringing you and you're really incorporating
- 1:05:40in that. But there are very specified
- 1:05:43tangents that you can go on to where it's like, hey, I'm
- 1:05:46studying under this master and he's imparting to me everything
- 1:05:49that he's ever learned about blacksmithing and sword
- 1:05:51crafting. And I am inheriting generations
- 1:05:54worth of knowledge through this individual.
- 1:05:58And I now get to add my skills and my story to this.
- 1:06:03So you get written into a chapter, you're forever part of
- 1:06:05that book now, and you've inherited all of the back story
- 1:06:09that came before it because you are now tied to that.
- 1:06:12And it creates an anchor point and weird that gets recorded
- 1:06:15into or log and cemented. Yes, beautiful tapestry.
- 1:06:22You know that, that if you really think back and, or just
- 1:06:26sit back and kind of envision everything that happened, you
- 1:06:29know, all of the various threads that had to be woven.
- 1:06:34Just generationally speaking. You know, if you, if you want to
- 1:06:37really narrow it down to the family line, think of all of
- 1:06:42the, the things that had to happen, all the threads that had
- 1:06:44to be interwoven in that, in that tapestry to make again,
- 1:06:50this experience, what we're what we're experiencing now
- 1:06:55individually and collectively with others.
- 1:06:57Be what it is, you know, and it is, it's life affirming, man.
- 1:07:03It's, it makes me want to be the best that I can be.
- 1:07:09Because again, it's this is, this is I get this one chance.
- 1:07:13You know, what's next? Who gets what's who, who gets
- 1:07:18what's after this? Well, it's, it's the people who
- 1:07:20I'm interacting with. It's the, it's the lives that I
- 1:07:24share with, you know, with people.
- 1:07:27It's, it's the, it's all of that.
- 1:07:30And, and, you know, people that maybe just don't get it, they,
- 1:07:33you know, they think, wow, it's such a, it's such a prideful
- 1:07:36life that you live, you know, your reputation this and that.
- 1:07:39I'm like, yeah, but it goes so deep.
- 1:07:40It goes so much deeper. It's not just what we think of
- 1:07:43ourselves. It's for the next line.
- 1:07:47It's for the next happening of things.
- 1:07:49This isn't, this isn't for my kicks and giggles, you know,
- 1:07:54like it's, it's doing the best we can with what we have and and
- 1:07:57it for the next line for the next episode.
- 1:08:01And there is a lot of people that like don't have kids that
- 1:08:04aren't necessarily going to be passing on their specific
- 1:08:06generation myself. You know.
- 1:08:10We're still passing things on, we're still our deeds and
- 1:08:14actions still feed the tribe. They still feed the clan like I
- 1:08:18Everything that I do is a representative of the Shervins,
- 1:08:22builds upon the legacy of the servants, and will be part of
- 1:08:25that story that's inherited in future generations.
- 1:08:28The closer to me familial someone is, the more of it they
- 1:08:31inherit. But it all goes into that family
- 1:08:33line aspect. Similarly speaking, when you are
- 1:08:38part of a tribe, you are blending weird.
- 1:08:40You are mixing. It's the same concept as
- 1:08:43adoption and fostering. You are meshing those lines and
- 1:08:48creating these anchor points is weird.
- 1:08:50And the future generations of your tribe, the future
- 1:08:54generations of the people whom you have shared this weird,
- 1:08:57with, whom you have had these experiences with, are going to
- 1:09:01be impacted by the choices that you make.
- 1:09:04They're going to be impacted by what you put into that well
- 1:09:08because you have blended those waters at this point.
- 1:09:10And every time you do ritual together as a tribe, you are
- 1:09:14actively blending the wells. That's that's why we utilize a
- 1:09:19well as one of the core elements of our ritual process is a a
- 1:09:25physical manifestation of the blending of those waters.
- 1:09:30Yeah, yeah, same way with us in our tribe.
- 1:09:32You know, we have like especially when it comes to our
- 1:09:34symbol, we have a centralized well cup, bragaful, whatever,
- 1:09:39you know, chalice. That is the metaphysical it it's
- 1:09:44the physical representation of the metaphysical.
- 1:09:46Well, you know what I mean, everything that happens at the
- 1:09:49ritual is, is being poured into the well and this and that.
- 1:09:53But all of this touches on the, the, you know, the, the
- 1:09:57complexities of the soul. Because again, we're talking
- 1:09:59about things that echo on even after we're no longer here to
- 1:10:04physically talk about it on a podcast or, or in, you know, in
- 1:10:08front of another person, you know, sitting in a room around a
- 1:10:11fire. I mean, these, these are ripples
- 1:10:14that echo on, you know, and you know, it's, it's, it's, it's
- 1:10:22wild to think about. It really is, you know.
- 1:10:27That whole category of the orlog category that I, I mentioned
- 1:10:31before, that encompasses your luck, that encompasses your
- 1:10:35orlog, that encompasses your Filia, Hamenya, Kinfetch, all of
- 1:10:39those things fall into that element because they are
- 1:10:42intrinsic to the soul and they are things that impact that
- 1:10:46which is passed on, that which endures.
- 1:10:49It's that peace that's gonna survive in some way.
- 1:10:52I may not necessarily be in a Direct Line that you think, but
- 1:10:55it's gonna survive in some ways. It's gonna be integrated into
- 1:10:58that ecosystem that it comes from and it's gonna continue to
- 1:11:01feed future generations even if they don't spring from your
- 1:11:04loins. Like the things that we do as
- 1:11:08this generation of Heathenry are going to impact future
- 1:11:11generations of Heathenry because we're here doing some groundwork
- 1:11:14and footwork that they are going to build on and hopefully do
- 1:11:18amazing things with. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:22It makes me think about one of the things you said earlier
- 1:11:24with, you know, oh, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm a reincarnated warrior
- 1:11:29from a day, you know, days gone by or whatever, just because,
- 1:11:33you know, you you maybe inherited a certain aspect of
- 1:11:37that, you know, an echo from that.
- 1:11:40It makes you think, you know, how much of what we're doing or
- 1:11:44how we're responding to our form of existence.
- 1:11:48What is is is an impact or or a decision made off of something
- 1:11:52that somebody did that wasn't even really, you know, directly
- 1:11:57involved with our familial line, right.
- 1:11:59Maybe it was a great grandfather who was hanging out with some
- 1:12:02other dude and they taught him a thing and it got it got it got
- 1:12:06thrown into the well at that point.
- 1:12:07And then here we are now living and out or, or something, you
- 1:12:11know, like it's. Yep, it's traditions that are
- 1:12:14passed down, decisions that are made, you know, the right
- 1:12:19partner to pass on, the right genes.
- 1:12:20All of that stuff plays into it. And you know, we talk about the
- 1:12:24complexity of the soul. There's different elements too
- 1:12:26that you can look at with like, you know, we've mentioned
- 1:12:29berserkers before and wolfsarks, these individuals that would
- 1:12:33take on that kind of B steal form in battle.
- 1:12:38I I frequently see 'cause you get with anything as complex as
- 1:12:42the soul, like an engine, things can get out of whack, things can
- 1:12:45get disproportionate. And so an individual who is a
- 1:12:51berserker would most likely have a very like disproportionately
- 1:12:56large ferra soul element that that vaitier soul element that
- 1:13:02allows them to tap into that and probably older that that divine
- 1:13:06or that that world, that divine madness given by that allows
- 1:13:11them to tap into that state. And so you've got that, that
- 1:13:15just right mix of elements that are different.
- 1:13:18And so that's the way that individual ends up going.
- 1:13:21But you can also have different things like if the Hummer gets,
- 1:13:25we mentioned before, if the Hummer gets disconnected from
- 1:13:29the lich during like what we would call now astral projection
- 1:13:33but hammer walking back in the day, the body enters into a kind
- 1:13:37of coma like state because lights are on but nobody's home
- 1:13:40kind of deal. That comas in general can be
- 1:13:46perhaps a disconnect between the Hummer and the lich where that
- 1:13:52may may still be there, but there may just be that line that
- 1:13:56connects the two is damaged, severed, broken, needs time to
- 1:13:59heal, may never heal. There's no telling.
- 1:14:02Dementia can be seen as a breakdown of the min side of
- 1:14:06things, the mind side of things, the memory elements.
- 1:14:09Aphasias can go into the huger side of things where an active
- 1:14:14thought is damaged. There are elements of the soul
- 1:14:19complex you can get down into, like minutiae of things.
- 1:14:22There are elements of the soul complex that are responsible for
- 1:14:24active memory recall, which would definitely fall into some
- 1:14:28of the dementia and aphasias. There's disconnects.
- 1:14:32The issues with the lich can have impacts on other sides too,
- 1:14:36because you suddenly get brain damage, and if the mind and
- 1:14:41thought elements of the soul are acting through the brain to
- 1:14:44drive the body, if the steering wheel's damaged, they can't do
- 1:14:48much with it. Right.
- 1:14:51So and then there's other elements to where things can be
- 1:14:54disproportionate or broken and can be like if there's a
- 1:15:00breakdown between the cause, the hammer being like the spiritual
- 1:15:03body that houses all of these unseen elements.
- 1:15:07If there's a breakdown between the communication between it and
- 1:15:10the body, you can end up with things like perhaps autism,
- 1:15:15perhaps different things that we see physiological manifestations
- 1:15:20of that have an explanation within medicine and science.
- 1:15:25But the understanding is furthered with an understanding
- 1:15:29of the soul, complex elements that go into it and can be
- 1:15:33treated on multiple levels at that point.
- 1:15:36Because I do, absolutely, I don't want anybody to think that
- 1:15:38I'm like issuing modern medicine for, you know, witch doctor, fix
- 1:15:42the soul and it'll fix the body thing.
- 1:15:45But if you're going to go a holistic approach of fixing the
- 1:15:49body, fixing the mind and fixing the soul, then you're treating
- 1:15:53the whole entity because the the lich is still a part of the soul
- 1:15:57just the same as those other elements are.
- 1:16:00You can get in with depression, You can get in with ADHD.
- 1:16:03There's a lot of different elements where one little tweak
- 1:16:07in the soul elements where things just don't quite line up
- 1:16:10right can manifest in these things.
- 1:16:14And it's possible that physiological elements have an
- 1:16:17impact on that as well. This So it's like a two way St.
- 1:16:20kind of deal. So if you're gonna be treating
- 1:16:23mental health, which definitely has, let's take a take a look at
- 1:16:28like depression for example, you frequently treat depression with
- 1:16:31an SSRI, which is a serotonin specific reuptake inhibitor
- 1:16:34because we know that there's a serotonin deficit with
- 1:16:38depression. And then the SSR is allow more
- 1:16:40serotonin to remain in the system to be absorbed by the
- 1:16:43brain and therefore affect mood. But we also do talk therapy.
- 1:16:48We also do coping skills. We do thought realignment where
- 1:16:54we'll sit there and work with them to reframe things.
- 1:16:57We're treating the mind, which is still a part of that soul
- 1:17:01element. So if you're treating mental
- 1:17:03health, you're treating both the body and the mind in the same
- 1:17:06way. You're still all treating the
- 1:17:08soul, They're just different soul elements that you're
- 1:17:10treating. So This is why I think that
- 1:17:13modern medicine is excellent at honing in on how to treat the
- 1:17:17lich. It's beautiful understanding of
- 1:17:20that. Because I see science is just
- 1:17:23one of the gifts that the gods gave us to understand this
- 1:17:26wonderful gift that they have given us in the form of Midgard.
- 1:17:31But it's not the whole picture. It's a piece of it all.
- 1:17:36Because if you're going to be dealing with a complex entity,
- 1:17:39you probably need a multimodal method of interacting and
- 1:17:43treatment in order to actually make lasting effect, make
- 1:17:47lasting healing changes, et cetera, et cetera.
- 1:17:51Yeah, now I'm so glad that you brought that part of it up
- 1:17:54'cause I know, I know your background, that maybe some of
- 1:17:57my listeners don't, you know? I know.
- 1:17:59You have a degree in psychology. Exactly, you know, so you know,
- 1:18:03you said it here, but for the folks that didn't know, I mean,
- 1:18:05he's got he went to school for this.
- 1:18:06He he, he ain't just talking out of his ass, right?
- 1:18:09You know I've. Been working in the field for
- 1:18:11like 20 years. Right, Yeah, there's, there's
- 1:18:13that whole experience plus the the work and and, and it's so he
- 1:18:17speaks from, from, from all of that.
- 1:18:20And I'm glad to be talking about the the soul complex in the
- 1:18:26living sense. Not that it's, you know, well,
- 1:18:28well, when we die and it goes here and it goes there and
- 1:18:30thinking of it as though some it's some sort of whimsical
- 1:18:33thing that happens. No, we're talking about it like
- 1:18:36This Is Us now. Now.
- 1:18:39Right here, right now and dealing with these things you
- 1:18:41mentioned, like I think at the very beginning about how, you
- 1:18:44know, it's, it's all, everything's in line,
- 1:18:45everything's happening. It's, it's, this is it, right
- 1:18:50it, it all, it all has come together.
- 1:18:51When, when something is out of whack and when something is, is,
- 1:18:55is not here, we, we run into these issues.
- 1:18:58And this is part of what you're talking about now.
- 1:19:00It's, it's, you know, when those little idiosyncrasies are just,
- 1:19:04you know, a bolt came loose or a screw popped out of where it was
- 1:19:09supposed to go or whatever. You know, I'm using like base
- 1:19:11terms here, but you get what I'm saying, right?
- 1:19:13It's it, this is what you're, you're getting into now with,
- 1:19:16with, with what we're talking about, which is great because
- 1:19:18it, it gives a, a relative, it, it makes it real.
- 1:19:24It's all in relative terms. And people are like, Oh yeah.
- 1:19:26Now I, I think people that will be listening and watching this
- 1:19:30hopefully will get a, a sense of like, yeah, this is just our,
- 1:19:34you know, maybe collective or individual perspectives or, or,
- 1:19:37or conceptual world views of things when it comes to us as
- 1:19:40individuals and us as people. But it it's, it's applicable in
- 1:19:46the here and now, right there, right now.
- 1:19:48This is, this is how it's applied, how you use it.
- 1:19:51What is 'cause like you said, yeah, we can pontificate forever
- 1:19:55on what happens after death, but we don't know.
- 1:19:58We're not there. We're not gonna.
- 1:20:01We can't worry about that. We're here, we're now.
- 1:20:03This is what we get, This is what we get to do and we need to
- 1:20:07work on the here now understanding the different soul
- 1:20:09elements when it comes to things like mental health, when it
- 1:20:11comes to physiological health, when it comes to like for
- 1:20:15instance, there's one soul element that is essentially the
- 1:20:19store of life. You know, when you were born,
- 1:20:21you were born with a certain amount in the tank and you can
- 1:20:26make good choices and get maximum mileage out of all the
- 1:20:31gas that's in that tank. But that's it.
- 1:20:34That's all the gas that you get now.
- 1:20:36You can do stupid stuff. You can burn wheelies, you can
- 1:20:40race it hard, you can beat it up so that it takes damage and
- 1:20:44loses some of that gas, and you can run out early.
- 1:20:50And so, you know, decisions that we make, actions that we make
- 1:20:53impact the length of how much of that life force we get to take
- 1:20:58advantage of. Any time that you go into
- 1:21:01battle, you're risking that you're gambling that life force.
- 1:21:04And it it can be spent, it can be gambled, it can be stolen.
- 1:21:09You can't get any more than what's in the tank.
- 1:21:12Yeah, but you can get as much out of that tank.
- 1:21:15Miles per gallon as. You want?
- 1:21:16Yeah. And you know, it's the do you
- 1:21:20want maximum mileage or do you want an enjoyable ride?
- 1:21:26Decisions, decisions, decisions. Yeah, and I think that goes back
- 1:21:32to, you know, just what you got. You know, you say like the
- 1:21:36individual inheritance, it not it's this isn't, you know,
- 1:21:41there's no real, I think end all, be all solution.
- 1:21:47You know, it has to be treated at a very individual level.
- 1:21:50Like, yeah, sure, there might be a modality or, or, or or or
- 1:21:54something that you can follow a practice that you say
- 1:21:57pontificated out. But like the the fact that is,
- 1:21:59is, is, you know, how it works for Eric might not work the same
- 1:22:02for Jesse. Exactly.
- 1:22:03You know, you can have these ideas, you can have this these
- 1:22:07concepts to help you understand it, but ultimately, you know,
- 1:22:12you got to work on your own engines and, and get some help.
- 1:22:16You know, there's, there's others that can there's, you
- 1:22:19know, that's why you go to mechanics, right?
- 1:22:22I don't, I don't change my own oil even though I probably
- 1:22:24could. I I probably don't won't do as
- 1:22:25good a job as the professional, you know.
- 1:22:28I changed my own oil but I'm going to go get my transmission
- 1:22:31work done for my pro. What exactly right like whatever
- 1:22:35you want to I. I ain't doing that.
- 1:22:37You go to a specialist, you know your transmission's out.
- 1:22:40You go see a transmission specialist.
- 1:22:41You know, if you've got some, just overall something's making
- 1:22:45a weird noise. You go to a general mechanic,
- 1:22:46you know, you want a new paint job.
- 1:22:48You go to The Body Shop. Yeah.
- 1:22:50You treat the specifics by going to specialists in those fields
- 1:22:55that know what they're doing. But you can only do that if you
- 1:22:58know what needs to be done. And you only do that by
- 1:23:02understanding the car and its bits and pieces.
- 1:23:05You know, if you don't understand how the turbocharger
- 1:23:08works, then you don't know who to go to to get it fixed.
- 1:23:11Now you can go to a guy who can help you kind of track down
- 1:23:13where to go. That's what a lot of, you know,
- 1:23:16us clergy do, is we're not necessarily here to fix your
- 1:23:19turbo, but we're here to point you in the direction to find
- 1:23:23what you need to do it. You know, I may, I may pull out
- 1:23:27the the old manual and say, all right, well, this is where that
- 1:23:32is. And this is where that is.
- 1:23:33Go tinker, see what you can do. Or you come back and be like,
- 1:23:37all right, well, this is how you fix this part.
- 1:23:39This is how you swap out an alternator.
- 1:23:42Go swap your alternator out. Yeah.
- 1:23:45That's ultimately, as a spiritual leader, that's what an
- 1:23:47individual tries to do. We try to facilitate the
- 1:23:53relationship with the divine because we hone that specific
- 1:23:56craft. But I'm not like, I'm not your
- 1:24:02gateway to divinity. Anybody can make that
- 1:24:05connection. I'm just really good at the
- 1:24:07ritual aspect of doing it. I understand the mechanics
- 1:24:11behind it. So my tribe comes to me to help
- 1:24:14do that because I can hear that. You know, that's your specialty.
- 1:24:20You're that specialist. But.
- 1:24:22I got another tribe member, my witchy woman who knows herb
- 1:24:26craft and all this other stuff that is very much of the
- 1:24:29material world that I ain't got a clue on.
- 1:24:32So I go to her when I need to know which herb do I need to rub
- 1:24:36on this so that it stops hurting.
- 1:24:39She's my go to. She's, she knows her stuff.
- 1:24:42Oh. Yeah, yeah, dude, I feel like we
- 1:24:48could, I mean, this is like one of those conversations that we
- 1:24:51could be here literally all week, all night on.
- 1:24:54I really feel that we covered a lot for folks, probably more
- 1:24:58than what was expected, honestly, Cause and to be honest
- 1:25:01with you, like we, we touched on some things that really struck a
- 1:25:05nerve for me, like personally in a good way, you know, like it,
- 1:25:10it really hit home for me just on some things that I'm going
- 1:25:13through. So I can't help but hope and,
- 1:25:16and believe that when this gets out to, to everybody, when
- 1:25:20people are listening or, and, or watching this, however they
- 1:25:23absorb it, you know that these folks are going to have their
- 1:25:28experiences, you know as well. And I can't thank you enough for
- 1:25:32for being here for that. Yeah, no sweat, man.
- 1:25:35And if anybody's interested in more of a granular kind of
- 1:25:37breakdown on some of the solo elements terminology and stuff
- 1:25:40that I use, I did do like a four part video series on my YouTube
- 1:25:44channel back in the day. Breaking up the it's four or
- 1:25:48five parts, I forget exactly. But I broke up the different
- 1:25:51like I did the mind section, I did the the soul section, I did
- 1:25:55the lich, I did the the lux section to kind of give a little
- 1:25:59bit more of a granular breakdown.
- 1:26:01That's it's, it's been a few years since I did that one.
- 1:26:04So my understanding has grown immensely since then.
- 1:26:07But that's a starting point. It can be a jump off point for
- 1:26:10those that are interested. It'll be linked.
- 1:26:13I mean, I'm going to have your channel information linked.
- 1:26:16I might even just point them to those specific videos since it
- 1:26:19does line up with this. And while you may not be posting
- 1:26:23regular content, I'm sure if they were to comment on a video
- 1:26:26or join your interactive group and they, you know, you'll get
- 1:26:30to them when you can. I'm sure you're busy guy, but
- 1:26:32you still have that connection at least right to your
- 1:26:34platforms. You you'll, you'll see comments
- 1:26:36and questions or posts from people right that post them.
- 1:26:49I guess there's a lag there. Yeah, there's a lag there.
- 1:26:57I'll give it just a SEC. That could be our cue folks.
- 1:27:06Yeah, he just dropped that was well.
- 1:27:09So for those of you listening, he kind of froze there on my
- 1:27:12question. We'll see if he rejoins because
- 1:27:18I would hate to end on a note like that, but that's part of
- 1:27:20the funness of the The Random Heathen Ramblings podcast.
- 1:27:25Ladies and gentlemen, Little things like that just so happen
- 1:27:31to be the way things go. So let me see if he what
- 1:27:43happened here. Hold on just a second.
- 1:27:53OK, so he's had a little bit of a storm issue.
- 1:28:00I'm talking to him offline guys. So just as we go forward here, I
- 1:28:06think he might be offline because of the storms up in his
- 1:28:09area. OK, so
- 1:28:27he lost power altogether. So that's fun.
- 1:28:31Let me just let me just connect with him.
- 1:28:36We'll move forward. He lives in the very remote area
- 1:28:52of of East Texas. And so it's all good though
- 1:29:13going to work through it guys, going to work through it.
- 1:29:17All right. So for those of you that are,
- 1:29:19you know, listening Eric while we were talking, fortunately it
- 1:29:24happened at the end of the episode.
- 1:29:25So things happen for a reason and at the right time.
- 1:29:30But he does have videos like he was talking about the various
- 1:29:34more granular stuff with the parts of the soul.
- 1:29:37All of his his channel information.
- 1:29:39Some of those videos are going to be LinkedIn the show notes.
- 1:29:43You can just search his channel on YouTube.
- 1:29:46You can join the word Weaver community on Facebook and I'm
- 1:29:52almost 100% sure that even though he doesn't post regular
- 1:29:56content, he still has visibility to see those comments and see
- 1:30:01those questions as they come up because he's obviously talking
- 1:30:04to me on Facebook offline from the show.
- 1:30:07So he'll see those comments that come through or those questions
- 1:30:10that you might have direct them his way through the stuff that
- 1:30:15you find in the in the show notes or the description.
