  little, UH, a little bit through predictions that we have for the

  perspective. So, as usual, you can all laugh

  at us when, UH, we get it extremely wrong.

  And when we get one little tiny detail right, we'll be, UH,

  bringing it up again and again and again for UH for our own

  It's scary. I remember when I was 16 and

  trying to revise my GCSE's and my next Alex on on dad's next

  door. Neighbours had a baby and I had
• 3:25
  to move bedrooms because the baby was crying so much.

  And now that baby is what, 33 got a kid of his own?

  She's forced them so well. Yeah, and you can still remember
• 3:36
  those times. Yeah, it's pretty freaky.

  Yeah. My daughter was 11 this week, so
• 3:41
  that was pretty. That always brings back the kind
• 3:44
  of memories of all the other times past.

  And you look back at all photographs and you look at the
• 3:51
  photographs from this birthday. She had a few friends over and
• 3:54
  it's like, Oh my God, she's like 1 meter 52 now.

  I mean that's that's pretty tall already for 11 so.

  Yeah. Yeah, it's just crazy crazy.

  But at the same time, the older they get, the more useful they
• 4:11
  get for, uh, helping around the place.

  At least in sorry ma, at least in a kind of an ideal situation,

  But you know that doesn't always work in practice.

  I guess I start carrying the boxes of figures in for you.

  Oh my shoulders a bit. So can you carry this box in?

  Had a great experience this week, actually my my youngest,
• 4:36
  uh. So I've been trying to teach him
• 4:37
  chess and then maybe started a bit too early.
• 4:40
  So he's 8, he's nearly nine, he's nine in three weeks.

  They're three weeks apart and two years.
• 4:45
  Uh, so both birthdays in April and and he started a couple of
• 4:49
  years trying to teach him chess and he was, he wanted to play
• 4:51
  with the pieces, but you know, I wasn't too interested in the
• 4:53
  game. And then somehow, through either
• 4:55
  friends or maybe watching a bit on the Internet or something,
• 4:59
  he's decided he wanted to try it again.
• 5:01
  And he played with some older friends or whatever cousin or
• 5:05
  something, and he kind of got the hang of the rules.
• 5:07
  So now we've been playing games of chess and he's accepting that
• 5:11
  he won't win straight away, but uh, he's learning a lot.
• 5:14
  So uh, it's great fun and uh, you know, keeps them off the
• 5:18
  screens, which is, I'm not going to deduce them to like iPad,
• 5:22
  chess or something like that, because then he'll just replace
• 5:24
  me with the computer and I can't, I can't cope with that.
• 5:27
  It's great fun till he starts beating you, John.
• 5:29
  Then he gets less fun. Yeah, well, that might that
• 5:32
  might force me to actually kind of brush up again.
• 5:34
  And, you know, because he used to be big into it.
• 5:35
  But yeah, it would be nice to have a buddy to play with.
• 5:41
  Speaking of not letting him play on the iPad, so they're talking
• 5:44
  computers way a little. Like he's not.
• 5:48
  What would you call it? A little bit of a a look into
• 5:50
  Malcolm's past. And as a youth when I was doing
• 5:54
  IT in what we call it, I know it would have been secondary
• 5:59
  school. One of the games on the old IBM

  computers was Battle Chess. That was a waste of fun.

  Yeah. I remember that chess.

  Yeah, yeah, they. 'D have a.

  That's right. They'd have a proper animated

  battle once you. You took one.

  Yeah, that's fun. I I remember the utopia for me

  when I was, I suppose, Stephanie before I was a teenager.

  Uh, I got one of those, uh, chess boards that's that was
• 6:31
  kind of had electronics in it. So you could put, you could

  press the square or you move your piece to and then the
• 6:38
  computer would kind of calculate and then you'd have to move
• 6:40
  their piece, the the square would light up and then you move
• 6:44
  it to the other square and it would light up.

  That was that was kind of a very high tech back in the the time.

  I'm sure the level of the computer couldn't have been that
• 6:55
  big. It couldn't have been that good
• 6:57
  because of you know processing power or whatever.

  But yeah, so that was pretty cool.

  So yeah, life moves on. Life continues and we'll play a

  bit of chess. How was your food in Birmingham,

  Rich? You had a little pit stop on the

  way home, I believe. Yes, we were going to go to a

  Japanese restaurant because my daughter, who I've just Googled

  now and is 164 centimeters and she's 11.

  Wow. So my daughter must be, what, 5

  So we go into, the idea is to go to Japanese Russia because she's

  into everything Japanese and Korean at the moment.

  And then when we got there, she decided actually, you know, that

  was a bit too adventurous for her.

  So she's like, let's go to. Yoshi Raw Fish.

  Yeah, let's go to Yo Sushi. OK, that's fine then You know

  chain. So what's yo sushi?

  Is that in a chain? It's a chain restaurant, yeah,

  that does sushi and a few other Japanese and Chinese bits and

  bobs. So we we get to 1.

  And there was like, you know, 8-9 staff there.

  It was like an open plan thing in a shopping mall.

  And they went, oh, sorry, yeah, no, we're going to be closing in

  a minute. And this was like 4:45 in the

  evening. And they're like, yeah, we we

  all got any staff and it's like see like 8 of you, never mind

  it. So we ended up in a lovely
• 8:24
  Chinese place. Yeah.

  So we had like salt and pepper chicken.

  I had gorgeous and some bow buns and Kerry had honey, honey and

  something beef. It was, yeah, just really lovely
• 8:39
  meal. So if you're ever in Birmingham,

  I can highly recommend Mrs. Chew's.

  It sounds like a it sounds like a sweet shop.

  Yeah, there's it is like a food complex or a shopping centre

  right next to the station. And there's a link corridor

  So she got stuff a nice expensive figurine and then we

  went to Forbidden Planet. She got a couple of manga

  novels, graphic novels from there, so.

  She was very dad was dad well behaved and.

  He was Dad spent about 20 minutes staring longingly at

  some Transformers Reaction figures that were reduced to 5

  LB and 7 LB each. Oh.

  that's the proper price for them in in terms of actually

  considering getting them. Yeah, because would you?

  in a Megatron upstairs, which I've I got not that cheap, but

  And when I saw, I'm going to kind of give a bit of behind the

  scenes here, but when I saw the silhouette on the YouTube, uh,

  stream, before they started streaming, there was a

  silhouette of two figures. And yeah, it did look like, uh,

  the Vorthog head, which turned out to be and the Golgol helmet,
• 13:50
  which in a way turned out to be. And I was a little bit like, you

  know, uh, thinking, oh, it's just going to be used to this

  again. They definitely saved it for me.

  But there was a point. And even as they were being

  revealed, umm, where I thought this is kind of a little bit of

  a rehash, a rehash of something I've seen before.

  was tribute to tribute figures as they have done UH

  traditionally. So far they have done 2 packs

  with the tribute figures. UH last year was Walter and he

  got two different figures in tribute to him.

  And the year before was the Furious 4, which is a 2 pack

  that you could make for different characters with and

  actually five really, if you include the bonus pieces, uh,

  And you could buy two of them to make the 4:00.

  So this is purely A2, but with a lot of as we get into extra

  stuff that we could umm make up the characters with and their

  tribute to the 4:00-ish horsemen the clock show every 4:00, uh

  ish Eastern Time every Wednesday they go live on the Four

  Horsemen YouTube channel. It's chaos and uh uh, it's an

  acquired taste. I would say people love it, uh

  and maybe people don't like it, uh, but they sometimes have good

  information and this was definitely one of those weeks.

  So it's uh, George, uh, Gaspar, the UN unamused because he is,

  uh, he doesn't like fun. So that was the play there.

  And uh, Chris Gorrich, Gorrich, the unpredictable.

  He is literally chaos. Umm, and uh, this is, uh, this

  is what you'll kind of hear when you listen to the Forest

  And it'll be fun for people that go to either Legions Con or one

  with the in past legions cons is I've always picked up two of the

  two packs and opened one and kept the other one boxed umm but

  brought the box home for the boat and and uh you know and

  then if I needed to you know make out the Furious 14 for

  example then I picked up the the singles uh for my shelf uh when
• 20:53
  they went online uh for this I think I'll probably just unbox

  them uh you know I might get a few sets definitely because of

  the Atlas head because of you know the stuff that comes with
• 21:06
  it. But I don't think I'll bring on

  the boxed one this time. I think I'll just it'll just be
• 21:11
  like wow, this has got so many great parts and this is this is

  my angle for for these figures is is the parts rather than, you
• 21:19
  know what they are. I like, I like to, I like to get

  one boxed and signed, so I've got all the rest signed.

  And then it's how many I get and the rest I own box, you know,

  never quite good enough for me to to make to keep them.

  However, with the dwarf parts then yeah, there will be two
