Transcript
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: You don't have to be ready for this.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: It'll find you where you are.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Let your body settle.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: There's nowhere else you need to be right now.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Take a breath in, and let it out like a sigh, like something releasing.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: Once more in and out slow, like something loosening its grip.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Let your breath find its own rhythm now.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Picture yourself sitting beside still water.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: A lake, early before the wind has found it.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: The surface is unbroken.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Whatever is beneath it is there.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: You just can't see it yet.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: And that's all right.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: There's no need to rush this.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: The water isn't going anywhere.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: Neither is the answer you're looking for.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Some things only reveal themselves to a mind that has actually stopped grasping for them.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Notice where you're holding right now in this body.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: See if anything can soften just a little, just for this moment.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's in the jaw or the space between the eyebrows, or somewhere lower, quieter, harder to name.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Wherever it is, you don't have to fix it.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Just notice it's there.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Think of the thing you've been trying to decide, the path you can't quite see.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Don't reach for an answer with your mind.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: The mind is already tried and it's tired.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Instead, ask the question quietly, the way you'd ask a friend you trust, and then just listen, not for words, for a feeling, a pull, a quiet certainty that doesn't need to explain itself.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: It might not arrive as an answer, it might arrive as a lightness in one direction, a heaviness in another.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: That's enough.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: That's the knowing.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Speaking in the only language it has.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: The mind is good at building plans.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: It is not always good at recognizing truth, but the body rarely lies about what it already senses.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: You have always had this.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: Long before you learned to doubt it, there was a part of you that simply knew which way to walk, who to trust, when to stay, and when to go.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: It didn't leave.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: It's still here under the noise, patient.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Somewhere between all the advice you've been given and all the research you've done, this quiet voice has been waiting for you to stop long enough to hear it.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: It doesn't compete for attention.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: It never has.
