- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's guest is, well, he's the GOAT. He is an
- 0:05Speaker 1: iconic comedian. He has a new tour going on right
- 0:08Speaker 1: now called the Heaven on Earth Tour. He is labeled
- 0:13Speaker 1: by many as an oracle, as the Black Crystal Ball,
- 0:17Speaker 1: I've heard him called. I'm thankful that he came down
- 0:20Speaker 1: from the clouds today to spend time with us. Today's
- 0:23Speaker 1: guest is Mr. Cat Williams. And I will.
- 0:39Speaker 1: What's up, man? What's up, man? It's time.
- 0:45Speaker 2: It's good to see good old Theo Vaughn.
- 0:47Speaker 1: It's an honor, man.
- 0:48Speaker 2: The world loves you, you know?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Well, that's nice of you to say. I feel, uh...
- 0:55Speaker 1: I feel like... I can't believe I'm around you, I think.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You know, I feel like you seem like a, um...
- 1:02Speaker 1: mythical figure.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Well... You know, like, uh... um, Sasquatch or, uh, like
- 1:14Speaker 1: a unicorn or something like that. Yeah.
- 1:17Speaker 2: You'll still feel that way by the end. Like I
- 1:21Speaker 2: won't ruin that.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24Speaker 2: That's the, uh, good thing about people like you and I,
- 1:27Speaker 2: like if somebody thinks that they like us and they
- 1:32Speaker 2: think they've made a connection with this person on the screen, um,
- 1:39Speaker 2: When they're around us, it's legitimate because it was legitimate.
- 1:44Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Yeah.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Like if Theo Vaughn wasn't successful, he doesn't have a
- 1:51Speaker 2: different story.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:54Speaker 2: You know what I mean? It's the same story. He
- 1:57Speaker 2: lived that story. And that's why people gravitate to you
- 2:04Speaker 2: because there's nobody like you.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Well, thanks, man. I feel the same about you. I
- 2:10Speaker 1: feel like everybody does.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and you have a statue of me at your house, so,
- 2:15Speaker 2: you know.
- 2:16Speaker 1: So, yeah. Thank you, man. Yeah, thank you for letting
- 2:19Speaker 1: them even do that statue. What was that whole deal
- 2:21Speaker 1: like with them, with Michaels? That's where I got mine
- 2:23Speaker 1: at was at Michaels.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Yeah. Did you do a– it wasn't a collab or
- 2:28Speaker 1: what was it? No.
- 2:32Speaker 2: No, they just– Robbed my image and likeness.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Because they could.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Because they were doing it for religious purposes. I allowed
- 2:45Speaker 2: it to be.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Well, thank you. We wish you a black Christmas. Look,
- 2:51Speaker 1: I'd be honored to have one. I'd be honored to
- 2:54Speaker 1: have one. Yeah, man. Cause yeah, when I met that
- 2:57Speaker 1: guy there, he said, we got two left, man, you know,
- 3:00Speaker 1: and there was 201 of them was marked down cause
- 3:02Speaker 1: I had a chip in it. Uh, But it's still, man,
- 3:06Speaker 1: it's an honor. I keep it up in my house
- 3:07Speaker 1: year round. And people walk in and they're like, no way,
- 3:11Speaker 1: that's Cat William right there.
- 3:13Speaker 2: It is.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And it's beautiful, man. Thank you. Yeah. You have a
- 3:19Speaker 1: new tour, man. I know people talk about touring and
- 3:22Speaker 1: comedy a lot. And I want to know what kind
- 3:25Speaker 1: of keeps you still doing comedy. Because I think when
- 3:29Speaker 1: we start out, maybe it's to be funny. And then
- 3:32Speaker 1: some people get to this place where they want to
- 3:33Speaker 1: have a message. do you notice that kind of tone
- 3:37Speaker 1: shift in your like desire to do it over time?
- 3:42Speaker 2: I don't, I don't think so. Like I, I, um,
- 3:48Speaker 2: I always try to have a message just because I,
- 3:52Speaker 2: I enjoy the fact that while laughing and joking, you
- 3:57Speaker 2: might learn something you didn't know and have gotten it
- 4:02Speaker 2: from a comedian. And, uh, I kind of dig that.
- 4:06Speaker 2: But everything else is just continuing this conversation with my
- 4:12Speaker 2: fan base. Like these are my friends that I haven't
- 4:15Speaker 2: seen since the last time I was here. And here's
- 4:19Speaker 2: our discussion furthering our relationship. So it hasn't felt much
- 4:27Speaker 2: like work.
- 4:29Speaker 1: And it's the Heaven on Earth tour. Do you believe
- 4:33Speaker 1: in heaven? Absolutely. And earth. Yeah. Okay. All right. Fair. Touche, man. Yeah. Dude,
- 4:42Speaker 1: I remember when I first, because like when I was
- 4:44Speaker 1: growing up, we just had, you know, you learned about
- 4:48Speaker 1: heaven and stuff, but all the pamphlets or whatever I'd
- 4:50Speaker 1: seen at church or anything, it always had, it was
- 4:53Speaker 1: mostly white folks on it, right? Right. And then I
- 4:57Speaker 1: went to a black church one time. Yeah. It was,
- 5:00Speaker 1: I think it's called Greater Starlight Baptist Church. That was
- 5:03Speaker 1: in our town.
- 5:05Speaker 2: And- Shout out to Greater Starlight Baptist Church.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. It was nice in there. This was in Covington, Louisiana.
- 5:12Speaker 2: But, yeah, they had- About 13 miles from Slidell.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah, there you go. Wow. Map Williams in the building, baby. Right, right.
- 5:27Speaker 1: And that's when I realized- Don't make me go gert.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Everybody's- That's when I realized, oh, everybody's going to be
- 5:37Speaker 1: in heaven. That was the first time that I realized
- 5:40Speaker 1: heaven was going to be very diverse. I'd never thought
- 5:42Speaker 1: about it. Right. And it blew my mind. I was like, oh, wow,
- 5:45Speaker 1: they're going to have black folks in heaven, Asian folks.
- 5:50Speaker 1: All types of folks are going to be there.
- 5:53Speaker 2: It's truly the only place that white people are a minority.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Is in heaven.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Just because thousands of years went with nobody getting to go.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Just because of fuck shit that they might not have
- 6:10Speaker 2: even been involved in.
- 6:11Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah, I guess I'm
- 6:14Speaker 1: kind of, I don't know if I'm starting to look
- 6:16Speaker 1: forward to it. I am excited about it. Yeah. But, yeah,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I guess I get caught up in, like, a lot
- 6:20Speaker 1: of worldly stuff, you know? Like, there's still things I
- 6:23Speaker 1: want to do here, that type of thing, you know? Really? Yeah.
- 6:27Speaker 2: You still got stuff you haven't done?
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah, man. I got some things, yeah, some different things.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I would like to write a book, I think.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Don't say what they are, but I'm saying just the
- 6:36Speaker 2: fact that you got things that you're excited about doing,
- 6:41Speaker 2: that's the joy of life. That's when you're living. That's
- 6:48Speaker 2: why it's so difficult for these super wealthy people to
- 6:53Speaker 2: be fucking happy. Like they can do everything else, but
- 6:56Speaker 2: they can't fucking be happy because they've lived all their dreams.
- 7:01Speaker 2: They got everything they were trying to get. They wake
- 7:04Speaker 2: up and they can't score a touchdown no matter what. Yeah,
- 7:10Speaker 2: it's a terrible life. But guys like you and I
- 7:13Speaker 2: that still got stuff to try and taste and, you know,
- 7:19Speaker 2: things to feel and people to be around, like, it
- 7:24Speaker 2: gives life a wonderful meaning. Yeah.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that is something that, like, if I
- 7:30Speaker 1: stay kind of motivated and I have a plan a
- 7:32Speaker 1: little bit, that keeps me a lot more. Like, okay,
- 7:35Speaker 1: I want to do this. I still want to try that. Yeah.
- 7:40Speaker 1: And I start to think, man, I'm running out of time, too.
- 7:42Speaker 1: You know, if you really like to taste different things
- 7:45Speaker 1: and smell different flowers and, you know, and see what's
- 7:48Speaker 1: in different gardens and stuff, then you start to run
- 7:50Speaker 1: out of time.
- 7:53Speaker 2: No.
- 7:54Speaker 1: You don't think?
- 7:55Speaker 2: No, because.
- 7:57Speaker 2: You had to be in the position that you're in
- 8:00Speaker 2: now for you to be able to make some of
- 8:04Speaker 2: these things happen. Couldn't have done them at 34 or
- 8:09Speaker 2: 24 or 14 because circumstantially you weren't ready. You weren't
- 8:14Speaker 2: ready financially. You didn't have the time. You didn't know
- 8:17Speaker 2: that's what you wanted to do. Now at this place
- 8:20Speaker 2: is when you can make those things happen.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Like you can do everything on that list of yours.
- 8:26Speaker 2: In 2025 with no fucking sweat. And your biggest problem
- 8:30Speaker 2: in 26 is I got to have a new list. Yeah,
- 8:38Speaker 2: time is one of the main things that's made up. Yeah,
- 8:42Speaker 2: you think?
- 8:43Speaker 1: I know. So it's just used as like a mechanism
- 8:47Speaker 1: to what, limit our thinking?
- 8:49Speaker 2: Well, don't say limit.
- 8:50Speaker 1: You said that you like this thing.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Thing because it gives control and it puts things in
- 8:58Speaker 2: its place. And that's what time does for us so
- 9:01Speaker 2: that we're able to keep track. But the less you
- 9:07Speaker 2: deal with time, you realize you have the right amount
- 9:12Speaker 2: of time to do everything you.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Got to do every day.
- 9:16Speaker 2: 24 hours. And you could make it an adventure every
- 9:20Speaker 2: fucking day like Hey, I could die tomorrow. What would
- 9:25Speaker 2: that mean I would need to be doing today? You
- 9:29Speaker 2: see what I'm saying? Like not looking at it like, oh,
- 9:32Speaker 2: I'm running out of time. No, no, no, no.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Dead people ran out of time. Everybody else alive.
- 9:42Speaker 2: You got 30 swim trunks.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Do that for me. How you going to say you
- 9:49Speaker 1: got 30 swim trunks, but you ain't never been in
- 9:52Speaker 1: the ocean, Joe Rogan? Thank you for having a good
- 9:57Speaker 1: sense of humor, man. That's what I am. I am
- 10:01Speaker 1: a good sense of humor. Yeah, sometimes we forget about
- 10:05Speaker 1: that along the way, man. You are. How long do
- 10:07Speaker 1: you want to live for, then, you think, Cat? You
- 10:09Speaker 1: got to check out. When do you ever think about it?
- 10:16Speaker 2: I was promised that I won't have to deal with that.
- 10:19Speaker 2: So I don't consider it. I do know that, yeah,
- 10:37Speaker 2: I don't have any things that I have to do
- 10:41Speaker 2: in order to go out the way I would like.
- 10:45Speaker 2: So that's a blessing. about one of the best you
- 10:49Speaker 2: can get, you know, is being okay with the body
- 10:57Speaker 2: of work and the legacy and the feelings and the
- 11:00Speaker 2: emotions that you left, you know. And I still haven't
- 11:05Speaker 2: done my best, like comedically. Like I'm still not my funniest.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Like I'm still not. Working hard enough. Like I'm still not,
- 11:20Speaker 2: I still haven't made a complete package of myself yet.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Do you think some comedians start to feel like they
- 11:28Speaker 1: have and that that's a trap? Most comedians have though.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm saying that becomes part of the career is
- 11:37Speaker 2: the fact that a lot of guys that are doing
- 11:39Speaker 2: comedy right now were funny comedians. From 1995 to 2004,
- 11:48Speaker 2: they're still working. They're still generating income. They're still, but
- 11:54Speaker 2: their best comedy is long behind them. They're not that
- 11:59Speaker 2: comedian that was thinking something was funny and writing it
- 12:03Speaker 2: down and figuring a way to get this to the people. So, yeah,
- 12:09Speaker 2: it happens.
- 12:10Speaker 1: What sidetracks can be is I guess it could be
- 12:12Speaker 1: all types of things huh what sidetracks them from maybe
- 12:16Speaker 1: fulfilling their their.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Their excellence is difficult but to be mediocre it's no
- 12:25Speaker 2: pressure like you know what I mean oh yeah like
- 12:28Speaker 2: if you don't feel like you have to be the
- 12:31Speaker 2: funniest person that this crowd has seen tonight then you
- 12:37Speaker 2: don't and There's nothing wrong with that. Nobody's gonna jam you.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Up about it.
- 12:43Speaker 2: They'll go, oh, you were funny. And for a lot
- 12:47Speaker 2: of people, that's enough.
- 12:50Speaker 1: How do you pick on, you've had a lot of openers,
- 12:53Speaker 1: like I've met a lot of your openers over the
- 12:55Speaker 1: years here and there. How do you choose them, man?
- 12:58Speaker 1: How do you choose these guys or women? You need
- 13:04Speaker 1: a lighter?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Whether you're, oh, no, no, I have no needs.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I apologize.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I choose them based upon whether their point of view
- 13:17Speaker 2: is unique to them. I don't care what a comedian's
- 13:22Speaker 2: talking about. That's your business. I don't care what jokes
- 13:25Speaker 2: you're making or how your set flows. But are you
- 13:30Speaker 2: telling a story about you? Can people see this? eight minutes,
- 13:37Speaker 2: 12 minutes you're going to do and know you and
- 13:42Speaker 2: have a chance to like you. If you do that,
- 13:45Speaker 2: then you can open for me because my allegiance is
- 13:50Speaker 2: to the people out there in those seats. And I
- 13:53Speaker 2: want them to see the very best comedians that I
- 13:57Speaker 2: can possibly bring. Somebody they'll enjoy, whether they're male or
- 14:02Speaker 2: female or white or black. Do they come to work?
- 14:07Speaker 2: Do they have a show for you? You see?
- 14:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I care about.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I think when I was getting into comedy in
- 14:15Speaker 1: the beginning, I wanted people to know me, right? I
- 14:21Speaker 1: like the jokes, and I want them to laugh and
- 14:24Speaker 1: feel good and see different ways that maybe I think
- 14:27Speaker 1: and stuff, but I wanted to sell myself. That's what
- 14:30Speaker 1: I always thought, I think. Yeah. When I first started.
- 14:33Speaker 1: I didn't think, I don't want you to remember one joke.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I want you to remember me, right? Like, I felt
- 14:37Speaker 1: like this desperate.
- 14:39Speaker 2: That's a star, though. See, you knew that you would
- 14:42Speaker 2: be a star. That's different than a performer. A performer
- 14:49Speaker 2: is based upon the act. What I'm saying is magicians
- 14:53Speaker 2: ain't shit unless they doing magic.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Yeah. Right? Oh, if I see them bitches, yeah, I
- 14:58Speaker 1: feel them. Right. Bro, come on.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:01Speaker 2: But a true comedian is above the comedy material. The
- 15:09Speaker 2: jokes are secondary.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:12Speaker 2: We like this guy, and we want to hear what
- 15:16Speaker 2: this guy has chosen to say to us about.
- 15:20Speaker 1: The topics of his choosing. That's who you are. You
- 15:23Speaker 1: know what I mean?
- 15:24Speaker 2: That's who you are.
- 15:24Speaker 1: That's who you are, Kat.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Tastes well to no.
- 15:29Speaker 1: One. Yeah, you grew up in Ohio, huh? Yes. Did
- 15:37Speaker 1: you grow up by Dave Chappelle? You guys grew up
- 15:39Speaker 1: near each other. Dave Chappelle's not even from Ohio.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Isn't he?
- 15:43Speaker 1: I thought he's from Dayton. I'm from Dayton. Are you really? Yeah.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Chappelle's from D.C. Oh, damn. My bad. Sorry. No problem.
- 15:53Speaker 1: But he lives in Dayton now, though. Yeah, he has
- 15:55Speaker 1: a lot of.
- 15:56Speaker 2: He owns probably $ 5 million.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Worth of property out there. Dang.
- 16:00Speaker 2: He's done really well for our Dayton, Ohio.
- 16:03Speaker 1: They got a beautiful museum out there I went to.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Dayton's a wonderful place.
- 16:09Speaker 1: They have the Air Force Museum, I think it is,
- 16:11Speaker 1: out there. Yeah.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Because we have Wright-Patterson Air Force Base that we're very,
- 16:16Speaker 2: very proud of.
- 16:18Speaker 1: It's awesome. Yeah, they have, I think Fat Man and
- 16:21Speaker 1: Little Boy are in there. Is it the, or the
- 16:23Speaker 1: plane that dropped... Those are planes that dropped the bombs on,
- 16:29Speaker 1: I want to say it's Pearl Harbor in there maybe? Hiroshima.
- 16:36Speaker 1: It could be Hiroshima. Little boy and fat man.
- 16:39Speaker 2: There we are.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what Rogan named the rooms of his comedy
- 16:47Speaker 1: club after.
- 16:47Speaker 2: He certainly did. The mothership.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, they really get it over there.
- 16:53Speaker 2: You feeling the pressure of this interview? No, no, of Austin.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Of moving there?
- 16:59Speaker 2: Is Austin calling you?
- 17:01Speaker 1: A little bit.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Are they trying to put pressure on you? A little bit.
- 17:04Speaker 1: At first, I wanted to do my own thing, like
- 17:06Speaker 1: a lot of people were moving there. But now when
- 17:08Speaker 1: I'm there, it just feels like it's a fun energy.
- 17:11Speaker 1: It is. And there's people on stage, and you can
- 17:13Speaker 1: go up and down that 6th Street, and you can
- 17:16Speaker 1: do five or six sets in a night. I mean,
- 17:20Speaker 1: that's a lot of practice, and it's probably within 800
- 17:24Speaker 1: footsteps or whatever. Yeah. So that, to me, seems really remarkable.
- 17:31Speaker 1: On the new tour, what's it like? What's it like
- 17:32Speaker 1: to still go out there? What's it like to, like,
- 17:35Speaker 1: do you do in the round? What's your show like?
- 17:37Speaker 1: I haven't been to a Cat Williams show. Clearly.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And what a blessing.
- 17:42Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 17:43Speaker 1: That's true. I still have it to look forward to.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Right. And we just learned we got plenty of time,
- 17:49Speaker 2: you know? But it's like.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 17:57Speaker 2: It's like a festival for laughs and good energy. And
- 18:06Speaker 2: there are different comedians before it gets to me. And
- 18:11Speaker 2: so you get a chance to get an overview of
- 18:17Speaker 2: some of the.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Greatest comedians around the country and get a chance to
- 18:27Speaker 2: see them. And it's hosted by Monique. And Monique is
- 18:33Speaker 2: a super large figure in comedy. And she has a
- 18:40Speaker 2: great presence. And then after all of said and done,
- 18:46Speaker 2: then I come out. And I congregate with the people
- 18:53Speaker 2: for an hour. And yeah, the best thing I think
- 18:57Speaker 2: is probably the fact that you've gotten your money's worth
- 19:00Speaker 2: twice before I get on stage. And I think that's
- 19:03Speaker 2: the part I'm probably proudest of.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Yeah. What do you bring with you on the road?
- 19:09Speaker 1: Somebody said you bring a Cybertruck. Is that true?
- 19:15Speaker 2: Yes.
- 19:17Speaker 1: That's my work truck. I have a Cybertruck. That's why
- 19:19Speaker 1: I was just curious what you thought about it.
- 19:21Speaker 2: When I'm home on the ranch, that's my farm truck.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I love it.
- 19:30Speaker 1: It's fun. It feels like you're driving an email, kind of.
- 19:33Speaker 4: A what?
- 19:33Speaker 1: It feels like you're driving an email. That's what I
- 19:35Speaker 1: feel like sometimes. It just feels like I'm in the future.
- 19:40Speaker 1: You could floor it and just... Yeah, it does feel
- 19:42Speaker 1: like a UFO. Yeah, like you'll put the gas on Monday,
- 19:45Speaker 1: like you'll floor it and you'll fucking, when it stops,
- 19:48Speaker 1: it's fucking Thursday right there. It's like it just has
- 19:50Speaker 1: like a.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a unique experience, you know?
- 20:01Speaker 1: Have you met him? Have you met Elon before? No.
- 20:04Speaker 2: No, I don't... I don't generally enjoy the company of billionaires.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I'm trying to think if I know any
- 20:16Speaker 1: good billionaires.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Well, it's not that they're not good, but I'm saying
- 20:21Speaker 2: I don't need to be reminded of my inadequacies.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:31Speaker 1: What do you do for fitness, man? What's your fitness
- 20:35Speaker 1: regime like? You got a regime each day or what's
- 20:37Speaker 1: that like? The ladies keep me fit.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I'm heavy in sexual relations, and so that keeps you
- 20:45Speaker 2: pretty fit. I got a cold plunge and a jacuzzi
- 20:51Speaker 2: and a sauna that I do pretty ritualistic. I've never
- 20:59Speaker 2: been a gym guy. I got two torn rotator cuffs.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Oh, damn. Both them bitches gone, huh?
- 21:05Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. So golf is basically how I stay where
- 21:11Speaker 2: I'm trying to be. But I've never been seven pounds
- 21:18Speaker 2: under or over in my life.
- 21:21Speaker 1: You're that middle dog. I'm that dog.
- 21:24Speaker 2: I'm at 150.
- 21:26Speaker 1: On the dime. Maybe he'll show up. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:29Speaker 1: He'll fuck you. Checkmate of scale, baby. You know what
- 21:31Speaker 1: I'm saying? Yeah.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Right, right.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I like, what have I been doing recently?
- 21:37Speaker 2: Swimming.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Oh, there's you playing golf right there. Damn, get out there.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Right. So, you know, if you can get 222 without
- 21:50Speaker 2: your arms ever going above your head and do it
- 21:53Speaker 2: consistently where it always ends up in the fairway that
- 21:58Speaker 2: you're hitting.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 21:59Speaker 2: You know, 14, 16, I have 18 in the fairway.
- 22:03Speaker 2: You know, this is, then you can play the game
- 22:06Speaker 2: a little better.
- 22:07Speaker 1: You're banging out there, yeah. Well. You can't get them arms.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I guess at a certain point, your arms don't need
- 22:12Speaker 1: to go that high in the air anyway, though. I'm
- 22:14Speaker 1: trying to think of what I.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Well, it would certainly give me more yards and a fuller.
- 22:22Speaker 2: It's just the rotator cuffs don't allow it. So I
- 22:28Speaker 2: started golfing with these 80-year-old guys that, you know.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Them bitches, you got to wait.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Like they can barely get out the car, but then
- 22:37Speaker 2: they come out there and out drive you. Every shot
- 22:41Speaker 2: is better than yours. So they taught me how to
- 22:47Speaker 2: play golf under restraint so as to not hurt myself,
- 22:51Speaker 2: you know.
- 22:52Speaker 1: And how'd you bang them cuffs up? What happened, you think?
- 22:55Speaker 1: What you mean? How'd you?
- 22:58Speaker 2: Oh, I was in the midst of a push-up contest.
- 23:05Speaker 1: No way. You blew them out? Yeah. Oh, man.
- 23:09Speaker 2: But I was probably at 200. I was doing too much.
- 23:15Speaker 1: You did 200 push-ups? Yeah.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and tore the cuffs, both.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Damn, you ripped both them bitches, man. God damn, boy,
- 23:25Speaker 1: you better pull up at a Jiffy Lube and get well, buddy.
- 23:30Speaker 2: The guy I'm going against, because the way it worked
- 23:33Speaker 2: is you could do as many as you wanted. When
- 23:36Speaker 2: you stop, it's my go, and I got a match.
- 23:39Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 23:42Speaker 1: You took it to the limit, huh? He was a horse.
- 23:46Speaker 1: You took it to the limits, man. Yeah, maybe you
- 23:49Speaker 1: could probably do some swimming safely. Maybe I could see
- 23:51Speaker 1: you getting up.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Oh, I'm an avid water guy.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I'm in the water probably more than most.
- 24:00Speaker 1: You're that dark koi, baby. You out there.
- 24:02Speaker 2: I love the water.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I pray underwater. Because, you know, evil can't access you underwater,
- 24:13Speaker 2: you know?
- 24:14Speaker 1: Oh, that's interesting.
- 24:15Speaker 2: A lot of people don't know that.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Is that true? Yeah. And that's why a baby, a
- 24:20Speaker 1: child is an amniotic fluid, huh?
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah, like water is super powerful, like a living being.
- 24:28Speaker 2: I'm sure that soon in the future they will confirm
- 24:33Speaker 2: for us that water is a sentient being and that,
- 24:38Speaker 2: you know.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Man, that's going to be if they do that.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Well, that's why all throughout history there was always gods
- 24:46Speaker 2: of water, just because it's such a powerful force.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 24:54Speaker 2: God is great.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I have a trouble out there. I think I'm
- 24:57Speaker 1: just not the best swimmer, man. I don't like to
- 24:59Speaker 1: swim cap either. I never liked putting that cap on.
- 25:04Speaker 1: That just was not something that was my vibe. What
- 25:08Speaker 1: do you mean by not a good swimmer? I just,
- 25:10Speaker 1: I don't like it, man. I don't like being out
- 25:13Speaker 1: in there. I'm kind of a land dog. I like
- 25:15Speaker 1: being on land. I respect water too much. I think
- 25:19Speaker 1: I get too scared in it. I just, that's it.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I get scared in it. Yeah.
- 25:23Speaker 2: You have to have a real respect for it no
- 25:26Speaker 2: matter what, like on a boat or regardless. It's one
- 25:32Speaker 2: of those crazy things that, you know, it's beautiful and
- 25:35Speaker 2: wonderful and it sustains life, but It has a thousand
- 25:40Speaker 2: ways to kill you.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yeah. And it, yeah, it houses the scariest in the
- 25:47Speaker 1: whole world. Yeah. I just get nervous. Yeah, yeah.
- 25:50Speaker 2: But what are you like in a jacuzzi, though?
- 25:53Speaker 1: I'm pretty chill, I think, you know. I'm okay in
- 25:55Speaker 1: a jacuzzi, but even then, if nobody's around, I just
- 25:58Speaker 1: don't know if I trust myself or not to, like—
- 26:03Speaker 1: If I'm even driving through a long puddle, I'll look
- 26:06Speaker 1: at my watch and make sure everything's all right.
- 26:08Speaker 2: But you had a drowning incident in your past?
- 26:11Speaker 1: I think I've just had some probably nervous experiences with it, man.
- 26:14Speaker 1: We used to have a neighbor, and this guy was probably,
- 26:16Speaker 1: I don't know if he was. He had one of
- 26:18Speaker 1: them big bathtubs they had at their house, and he
- 26:24Speaker 1: would make us play Navy or something. He was probably
- 26:26Speaker 1: a gay guy, but we didn't know, right? But he
- 26:28Speaker 1: would have us playing Navy and shit.
- 26:30Speaker 2: You have more than six of those stories. So you can't.
- 26:35Speaker 2: We ain't claiming it now.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Yeah, we had, well, but he'd have us play. But
- 26:39Speaker 1: it was just like a lot of.
- 26:40Speaker 2: It was a guy looking and had you looking in buttholes.
- 26:43Speaker 2: So I'm saying.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Yeah, we've had some fucking wild neighbors. Some of these
- 26:48Speaker 1: guys were for certain gay. I don't know if they
- 26:52Speaker 1: was gay. I'm not sure what they were. We're sure.
- 26:57Speaker 2: We're sure. You just made it through all the gauntlets, like,
- 27:03Speaker 2: as a participant.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, bro. I'll fucking... I'll put a juke on
- 27:07Speaker 1: a nutsack. You know what I'm saying, bro? Give me
- 27:09Speaker 1: my $ 4. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Bro, we grew up just...
- 27:15Speaker 1: Back then, they had this more pedophiles and wildness, I think,
- 27:19Speaker 1: back then, man. People wouldn't... Now it's all documented, you know? Right.
- 27:23Speaker 1: But back then, it was just... people was more you
- 27:27Speaker 1: know I remember we had a guy that called one
- 27:31Speaker 1: basketball coach had been like kind of tickling the kids
- 27:34Speaker 1: a lot right and then the other guy called him
- 27:36Speaker 1: and he said he said hey.
- 27:41Speaker 2: If you keep you said that so naturally you said
- 27:44Speaker 2: that so naturally like that's a thing that coaches can
- 27:49Speaker 2: find themselves dealing with he.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Trying to get that three pointer out of you bro
- 27:53Speaker 1: he trying to like oh But they had, yeah, just,
- 27:58Speaker 1: but they called him and said, hey, they said, Mr. Sharp,
- 28:01Speaker 1: you say, you can't, if you keep tickling a kid,
- 28:03Speaker 1: you can't coach him no more. But that was it.
- 28:06Speaker 1: There wasn't like a lawsuit or anything. It was just more,
- 28:10Speaker 1: you know, stern activity. Don't do it. Don't do it
- 28:14Speaker 1: like that. But we had, I mean, I don't, I
- 28:16Speaker 1: don't fucking know, man. What was that? What were we
- 28:18Speaker 1: talking about? Oh, Jap, swimming people. Swimming, man. Yeah, I never,
- 28:23Speaker 1: I think I just get too nervous in water. I just,
- 28:25Speaker 1: I know it's too powerful. That's what I know.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I know it's way more powerful than I am, man. Yeah.
- 28:32Speaker 1: But it's so funny, like, yeah, because I could see you, man.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I think sometimes if I think about you, I think
- 28:37Speaker 1: about you like, I could see you having like a
- 28:40Speaker 1: show at a SeaWorld or something like that, you know? Like,
- 28:44Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying? Matt, like a, the cat. No.
- 28:51Speaker 1: It'll be a one night only. But still. Because I'm
- 28:53Speaker 1: letting all the, I'm letting everybody out. Are you free, bro? Like,
- 28:57Speaker 1: this is wrong. You freeing. Like, I'm black.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I'm not going to stand here in front of a
- 29:01Speaker 2: prison and do a show.
- 29:04Speaker 1: You freeing all the black fish on everything. All the fish.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Every fish in the ocean, bro. Free Nemo, bro, until
- 29:12Speaker 1: it's backwards, man. I don't know what happened yesterday. Everyone's gone. Dude,
- 29:16Speaker 1: if they had one. If they had one night, though,
- 29:22Speaker 1: I'm talking a $ 320 ticket. It's a pricey ticket, but
- 29:27Speaker 1: it's a one night only. Cat Williams and the whales, baby.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Catfish. I got you. People, it'd be impressive. man. Indeed.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Indeed it would. It would be unprecedented. People would love it, man.
- 29:46Speaker 2: I think people are loving the fact that you're sharing
- 29:50Speaker 2: new stories.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Thanks, man. Right. Yeah, I like it.
- 29:55Speaker 2: So get back to the guy in his big bathtub.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Roy was his name. Roy. And he ended up in
- 30:01Speaker 1: the military. But at the time, nobody knew that. We
- 30:05Speaker 1: were just children. And he got a whistle or something.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Somebody bought him a whistle. And so he would just
- 30:12Speaker 1: have us do these little games or whatever. And so
- 30:17Speaker 1: I don't know if kids were violent during that or
- 30:20Speaker 1: sometimes people would be aggressive or something. But I think
- 30:23Speaker 1: maybe that made me nervous about water. My sister almost
- 30:26Speaker 1: drowned one time. I thought she did drown. She didn't,
- 30:30Speaker 1: but she almost drowned once. So I think just stuff
- 30:32Speaker 1: like that. We would go swim in a river and
- 30:34Speaker 1: there weren't a lot of lifeguards. So I think that's
- 30:38Speaker 1: super scary because, you know, you get caught with a
- 30:41Speaker 1: current or something. It's just real. It can be a lot,
- 30:45Speaker 1: you know.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Which river?
- 30:47Speaker 1: The river we were at, I think it was probably
- 30:49Speaker 1: part of the Chafuncta, like a little tributary of it.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Dirty water?
- 30:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:54Speaker 2: That's scary too.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, so just that kind of atmosphere, I guess, maybe.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Trying to think of what made me so scared. And
- 31:02Speaker 1: you know what? I don't know if I knew how
- 31:03Speaker 1: to swim that great. You know, to funk the river.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I don't know if I knew how to swim that great,
- 31:10Speaker 1: to be honest with you. But yeah, I think, yeah,
- 31:14Speaker 1: people could. I would love to see you do a
- 31:16Speaker 1: water show of some sort one day if you ventured
- 31:19Speaker 1: out to that sort of thing.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I appreciate the fact that you're giving me ideas of
- 31:25Speaker 2: things that are unprecedented.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it'd be really cool, man.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Nobody else has a water show.
- 31:34Speaker 1: I love it. This episode is sponsored by PrizePix. Do

- 32:18Speaker 1: if you think Patrick Mahomes is going to throw for
- 32:21Speaker 1: more than 17 completions, you'd pick more. If you think
- 32:25Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts is going to launch more than 22 comps,
- 32:30Speaker 1: you'd pick more. If you're smart with sports and you

- 33:52Speaker 1: I've had my ups and downs with crypto. Once I
- 33:55Speaker 1: got so hooked, I was checking prices more and just,
- 33:58Speaker 1: I couldn't even feed my damn baby. I was just
- 34:00Speaker 1: too busy checking prices and charts. I sold it all

- 35:26Speaker 1: of the actual foot. It's not, you know, I had
- 35:28Speaker 1: me another pair, and they's too narrow. My feet get
- 35:31Speaker 1: all nervous in there, all tight, all just like they're
- 35:34Speaker 1: just in a very small parking spot. But not with

- 36:07Speaker 1: you affected by the fires, Kat? Did you all have
- 36:09Speaker 1: any damage?
- 36:19Speaker 2: I felt like everybody that I, everybody in my work
- 36:26Speaker 2: life lived in the Palisades. Yeah, it's a massive gut punch,
- 36:35Speaker 2: just the, the lives and economies of people that have
- 36:41Speaker 2: been destroyed. But this is how life operates, you know.
- 36:51Speaker 2: It's very humbling for there to be thousands of homeless millionaires,
- 36:58Speaker 2: you know.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it's so surprising, man. I had a friend,
- 37:04Speaker 1: I was talking to him, He said, hey, do you
- 37:07Speaker 1: want me to go to your apartment and get your,
- 37:09Speaker 1: I got a Jeep Cherokee out here. So you want
- 37:11Speaker 1: me to go get it in case the winds change it?
- 37:15Speaker 1: And I said, I think it's going to be okay.
- 37:18Speaker 1: And I said, what are you doing? He's like, I'm
- 37:20Speaker 1: going to an audition. And it was just so wild
- 37:23Speaker 1: that you had places that were completely disappear off the earth.
- 37:28Speaker 1: And then you have a guy who's going to an
- 37:30Speaker 1: audition at the same time, you know, just that there's
- 37:33Speaker 1: so many things happening at once in this. It's like,
- 37:35Speaker 1: Part of it is so affected and some of it
- 37:37Speaker 1: is unaffected, you know? Kind of just was a dichotomy.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel that way every time I watch international news.
- 37:45Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 37:46Speaker 2: Just if you watch another country's news and see all
- 37:50Speaker 2: of the stuff that they're going through that we never
- 37:53Speaker 2: hear about or know about. Yeah, it's crazy.
- 37:58Speaker 1: L.A. is just so massive of a city, you know?
- 38:02Speaker 1: It's like a state almost in a way. Right.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Like LA is like a collection of 100 cities, you know,
- 38:08Speaker 2: that make this.
- 38:09Speaker 1: That's a good point. I never thought about it like that.
- 38:11Speaker 2: With, um, Hollywood and Encino and Beverly Hills and all Compton,
- 38:19Speaker 2: Gardena and Englewood and Hawthorne and Torrance and the city
- 38:23Speaker 2: of commerce and all of these places are, um, fingers and.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Pieces of the body that is L.A.
- 38:33Speaker 2: So there's no way for six or seven of those
- 38:39Speaker 2: parts to be going through pain and the body to
- 38:44Speaker 2: be okay. But by the same token, it has to be.
- 38:50Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Like if you break your finger,
- 38:56Speaker 2: the rest of your finger still got work to do.
- 38:59Speaker 2: you know what I mean like.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Yeah yeah oh yeah yeah man yeah sometimes I think
- 39:10Speaker 1: about what it would be like like if I were
- 39:14Speaker 1: like another ethnicity you know you ever imagine like that
- 39:17Speaker 1: like if you was an Asian guy like if you
- 39:21Speaker 1: could handle it no I um Have you ever had
- 39:27Speaker 1: dreams like that where you're Asian?
- 39:29Speaker 2: I'm not sure if you have those when you're black.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Like....
- 39:39Speaker 2: I'm saying I was born black, so I was born
- 39:42Speaker 2: a superior being, a superb specimen, if you will, uh...
- 39:50Speaker 2: as far as human creations are concerned. So I never
- 39:57Speaker 2: wanted to be anything other than that. I wanted to
- 40:02Speaker 2: know how other people felt. So I didn't... But.
- 40:10Speaker 1: You never thought, I want to be that?
- 40:12Speaker 2: No.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Yeah. No.
- 40:16Speaker 2: But maybe some of that is because I didn't, think
- 40:19Speaker 2: that was possible. I didn't see it from a negative perspective.
- 40:32Speaker 2: I saw it from a positive perspective. You know what
- 40:38Speaker 2: I mean?
- 40:38Speaker 1: Like I'm in the driver's seat. Yeah, it'd be cool
- 40:42Speaker 1: to be a passenger, but I like the seat I'm in.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't think that Chinese people were having more
- 40:55Speaker 2: fun or doing better things. I thought they were doing
- 41:00Speaker 2: different things. Yeah, they're doing fine. Yeah, and I was
- 41:03Speaker 2: interested in knowing what those were, but it never dawned
- 41:07Speaker 2: on me that they might be better.
- 41:09Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Right. And I had....
- 41:13Speaker 2: I had white friends that were admirable, but I didn't
- 41:19Speaker 2: imagine being white. And I didn't think that they imagined
- 41:24Speaker 2: being black, I guess, either. But you have a great imagination,
- 41:30Speaker 2: which is what makes you world class. You have to
- 41:34Speaker 2: have that. Because I heard you tell the story. I
- 41:39Speaker 2: know the stories.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Yeah, because I think about that a lot, I guess,
- 41:43Speaker 1: of what it would be like to be different ethnicities,
- 41:47Speaker 1: if I could handle it, you know, if I would
- 41:51Speaker 1: think it was fun.
- 41:52Speaker 2: I don't think that you would be as different from
- 41:56Speaker 2: yourself as you, or as a white guy, as you
- 42:00Speaker 2: imagine that you would be.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Oh, you would just be kind of the same, but
- 42:03Speaker 1: just in a different shape? Right, right.
- 42:04Speaker 2: What I'm saying is I don't think that you, because.
- 42:10Speaker 1: So you think the thoughts and all are kind of
- 42:12Speaker 1: the same than you think. I'm almost certain. I'm almost
- 42:17Speaker 1: certain that you as a black.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Guy are also not the norm. You're not.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Yeah. I could do it, I think, man.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Kind of a singular. Yeah, you can.
- 42:32Speaker 1: I would like, you know, if I ever. I don't
- 42:35Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I'm trying to. culture vulture or
- 42:38Speaker 1: whatever but I would like if they ever give you
- 42:39Speaker 1: if they do you know if they let people if
- 42:44Speaker 1: I get to do reincarnation I would put in an
- 42:46Speaker 1: application I know.
- 42:47Speaker 2: That okay so let's let's work this out let's work
- 42:50Speaker 2: this out because if reincarnation is real you have some
- 42:57Speaker 2: say in it right.
- 42:59Speaker 1: That's right because you probably get to apply or talk
- 43:01Speaker 1: to the manager.
- 43:02Speaker 2: I'm saying there's nobody else's opinion that will be more
- 43:05Speaker 2: valued than yours right So let's decide. So where are
- 43:11Speaker 2: you coming back? What do you want to try first?
- 43:16Speaker 1: Ethnicity, you mean? Don't go right to black. Okay, I won't.
- 43:20Speaker 1: I'll wait at least a round or whatever. I will do...
- 43:23Speaker 1: I don't know if I... Would I do... Asian seems so...
- 43:28Speaker 1: It feels easy to do, kind of. I hate to
- 43:35Speaker 1: say that. It just seems.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that's racist.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 43:38Speaker 2: No, it's okay.
- 43:39Speaker 4: Okay.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Yes, I said it. Asian people. Oh, I would be Mexican.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Mexican seems cool. You're kind of almost, you're like a
- 43:48Speaker 1: little black or whatever, but you're also, you're just.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Right, what was his name? That came in your school.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Oh.
- 43:59Speaker 2: No, the first Mexican.
- 44:01Speaker 1: No, the kid, the first Mexican that we ever had
- 44:03Speaker 1: in our school.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Not Constantine.
- 44:05Speaker 1: No, Nicholas. Nicholas. Yeah. Right. Right.
- 44:08Speaker 2: So you at least have some experience.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:12Speaker 2: You know how you could show up, you know, and
- 44:14Speaker 2: you could be a hero and not get ahead of yourself.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. I would go easy into it. I wouldn't
- 44:21Speaker 1: let anybody know that I was, had been there, that
- 44:24Speaker 1: I was, it was my first time. You know, I
- 44:28Speaker 1: think you'd have to be, because sometimes I believe you
- 44:30Speaker 1: have first times as a human, even like you meet
- 44:33Speaker 1: some people when it's like, oh, this is this person's
- 44:36Speaker 1: first time being a human. the soul like this is
- 44:39Speaker 1: right this is a damn newborn you know right and
- 44:43Speaker 1: then you meet some people you're like damn this person
- 44:45Speaker 1: is a sensei this person has been they've been here
- 44:47Speaker 1: before they've been here before right but yeah i wouldn't
- 44:50Speaker 1: go do black first man i wouldn't yeah i would
- 44:51Speaker 1: definitely keep that for like uh or i would yeah
- 44:56Speaker 1: i would try i would be i would be honored
- 44:58Speaker 1: to do it if they let me.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Do it that's what i would say i i don't
- 45:02Speaker 2: i don't speak for the entire delegation but.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Uh And I would do my best, man.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Again, as a black guy, we would be honored to
- 45:14Speaker 2: have you come through our path. And the only reason
- 45:20Speaker 2: I said don't do it first is just because there
- 45:22Speaker 2: are certain things that go along with it that you
- 45:25Speaker 2: just don't know how you handle it until you got
- 45:30Speaker 2: the dick of a horse. And then you just got
- 45:32Speaker 2: to figure this thing out.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Fuck, yeah. Oh, yeah, you got a parallel park even
- 45:37Speaker 1: probably tougher.
- 45:39Speaker 2: You know, everything is different.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Everything a little bit different, I'm sure. But, yeah, I
- 45:45Speaker 1: don't know if I'd go– yeah, I would like to.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Especially if I got to bring a friend, I would
- 45:48Speaker 1: definitely do it, man.
- 45:50Speaker 2: You don't get to bring a friend. You make new
- 45:53Speaker 2: friends with each of the– you see what I'm saying?
- 45:57Speaker 1: Yeah. No, see, I want to just have some safety,
- 46:01Speaker 1: you know. Same reason I don't want to be in
- 46:02Speaker 1: the water, you know. It's just when I feel risk,
- 46:06Speaker 1: it makes me feel nervous, you know?
- 46:09Speaker 2: Right, but nervousness was created for that. Nervousness is a
- 46:15Speaker 2: good thing. You're supposed to feel that. But that doesn't
- 46:20Speaker 2: dictate whether you continue. And if you can get a
- 46:25Speaker 2: hold of that, understanding that nervousness doesn't mean stop. The
- 46:30Speaker 2: yellow light doesn't mean stop. The yellow light means be cautious.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Right?
- 46:39Speaker 2: And so when you feel those nerves, understand those nerves mean, okay,
- 46:44Speaker 2: don't fuck around. But you can still enjoy.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 46:49Speaker 2: So we're going to get you closer to the water
- 46:52Speaker 2: in 2025. And we're going to deal with some of
- 46:58Speaker 2: these ethnic....
- 47:03Speaker 1: Blockages, maybe?
- 47:04Speaker 2: I don't think they're blockages. You're very open-minded.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Yeah, thanks, man. Yeah, they're not blockages.
- 47:12Speaker 2: You're not dealing with blockages. You're dealing with uncertainty as
- 47:18Speaker 2: to who you are in the universe and whether or
- 47:22Speaker 2: not you belong in the places you feel like you.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Man, that's interesting. That is kind of how I feel. Yeah,
- 47:32Speaker 1: because I'm always thinking of what this other thing would
- 47:35Speaker 1: be like, kind of. Right.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Right. Because, you know.
- 47:39Speaker 1: I never really thought about it like that.
- 47:42Speaker 2: I don't believe this is your home planet, you know.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Do you believe that most of the people here that
- 47:51Speaker 1: are living right now, that this is their home planet?
- 47:53Speaker 4: No.
- 48:01Speaker 2: No. No.
- 48:05Speaker 1: So you feel like it's more... You feel like we're
- 48:09Speaker 1: maybe a species from somewhere else that's been kind of...
- 48:12Speaker 1: That landed here or that got... Mm-hmm.
- 48:17Speaker 2: All of the religions tell the same story. And all
- 48:23Speaker 2: of the stories are started up there and then end
- 48:27Speaker 2: up down here and then continue.
- 48:30Speaker 1: And.
- 48:31Speaker 2: There's a reason.
- 48:32Speaker 1: For that, I believe. Do you feel like this is
- 48:37Speaker 1: like a place we're supposed to learn something? Do you
- 48:39Speaker 1: feel like it's a place that we're kind of just
- 48:41Speaker 1: spending time?
- 48:43Speaker 2: An experience. A destination. You and I are at an
- 48:50Speaker 2: age where we remember when the video game experience wasn't
- 48:55Speaker 2: what it is now. It was still a game. like
- 49:00Speaker 2: Monopoly or something, you know? Where it is now, it's
- 49:04Speaker 2: a whole different universe that you can live inside from
- 49:10Speaker 2: your Xbox or your PlayStation. And in Call of Duty,
- 49:16Speaker 2: you're an actual soldier and you, get kills and deaths
- 49:22Speaker 2: and eliminations. And when you then cross over to the
- 49:26Speaker 2: PGA game, you have your actual golfer that looks like
- 49:31Speaker 2: you and has the name you gave him. And he's
- 49:34Speaker 2: really going to go out there and do this 18
- 49:36Speaker 2: on Whistling Strait and You know what I mean?
- 49:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Then I go and get in my podium one sim
- 49:45Speaker 2: racer and I pick the car of my choice and
- 49:52Speaker 2: I'm an actual racer. So those experiences located in that console,
- 50:00Speaker 2: that's this experience here on earth that we're all able
- 50:05Speaker 2: to share, and that's what would make that reincarnation possible.
- 50:10Speaker 2: It just means, oh, yesterday I played that game, and
- 50:16Speaker 2: today I'm logging in this experience. And so, yeah, certainly
- 50:21Speaker 2: a universal college, if you will.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, sometimes I forget. I get caught up in
- 50:31Speaker 1: the minutia of things, you know, and I forget to
- 50:34Speaker 1: kind of have this bigger breath of like, this is
- 50:39Speaker 1: an experience. It's not a sentence.
- 50:42Speaker 2: An experience in which you're winning.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Right.
- 50:45Speaker 2: And an experience in which you're in a better position
- 50:49Speaker 2: than others who have been in this same, you are
- 50:57Speaker 2: excelling in an area. life in which you very well
- 51:03Speaker 2: could have turned out to be nothing. Or another statistic
- 51:09Speaker 2: or just another forgotten body in a ditch. And those
- 51:16Speaker 2: were the hazards, right? And you, Theo Vaughn, made it
- 51:21Speaker 2: through all of that and negated all of those horrific
- 51:25Speaker 2: possibilities and are here in this position. the best you've
- 51:31Speaker 2: ever been, you know? And those are the facts. And
- 51:35Speaker 2: if we tell ourselves more of the facts in our head,
- 51:39Speaker 2: then we don't hear so much negative, you know?
- 51:44Speaker 1: If we try and just focus on telling ourselves the facts?
- 51:46Speaker 2: Yeah, of how good we're doing. Like, we're much too
- 51:52Speaker 2: hard on ourselves.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Yeah, I feel that all the time, man.
- 51:55Speaker 1: I feel like I don't know any other way to
- 51:56Speaker 1: be almost sometimes. Like, not in a bad way, but Yeah,
- 52:00Speaker 1: I feel like it's this constant sentence. I feel like
- 52:05Speaker 1: there's always been this to-do list that I don't even make,
- 52:08Speaker 1: and it's just always been there. Does that make any
- 52:09Speaker 1: sense to you? Yeah. That's how I feel all the time. Right.
- 52:14Speaker 1: I still have to prove it, a constant of approving.
- 52:20Speaker 1: All winners have that disease. It's self....
- 52:28Speaker 2: Inflicted it's for you it's you doing that and there's
- 52:36Speaker 2: nothing wrong with that harsh management it's what gets you
- 52:40Speaker 2: to the point that you're at but um if you
- 52:46Speaker 2: have animals you know that a relationship doesn't do good
- 52:53Speaker 2: with just control words just sit and stay and there
- 53:00Speaker 2: needs to be connection fostered and treats are the best
- 53:09Speaker 2: thing for learning you know and so treat yourself with
- 53:15Speaker 2: those type of things as well like don't forget to
- 53:20Speaker 2: remind yourself of all of the people that you tell
- 53:27Speaker 2: stories about and the fact that that was it for them.
- 53:32Speaker 2: That little piece of the story you told, like, they
- 53:35Speaker 2: didn't get better. Like, they didn't then change some stuff
- 53:39Speaker 2: and go like you did. You know?
- 53:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Do you feel like, who was like a
- 53:48Speaker 1: role model when you were growing up? Where do you
- 53:50Speaker 1: think you got some of your own influences from? Do
- 53:52Speaker 1: you think it was from people like, actually humans in
- 53:55Speaker 1: the world? Or do you feel like you had kind
- 53:56Speaker 1: of like divine thoughts that came into your head or guidance?
- 54:00Speaker 1: Like where did that kind of stuff affect you? Like
- 54:02Speaker 1: when you were younger, do you feel like? I got
- 54:05Speaker 1: it all from books. Like, I got it all from books.
- 54:11Speaker 1: What are you smoking, Kev? Sir? Brother? You smoke it?
- 54:17Speaker 1: If it's not pot, I can smoke it. Right. He said,
- 54:21Speaker 1: if it's not pot, I can smoke it.
- 54:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it's for certain pot.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Oh, it is? Yes. Oh, damn, brother. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 54:29Speaker 2: Sorry, if you needed a cigarette, you could have one.
- 54:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I might have a cigarette with you, man. Sure.
- 54:35Speaker 2: What you're getting ready to have is not even available
- 54:38Speaker 2: in this place.
- 54:41Speaker 1: That we live in. What? California. L.A.? Yeah. Oh, they
- 54:48Speaker 1: don't have Newport's here?
- 54:50Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not allowed to do menthols.
- 54:54Speaker 1: So racist. Yeah, it's weird. You can burn down a
- 54:58Speaker 1: whole town, but you can't have a Newport. Right.
- 55:04Speaker 3: Right.
- 55:06Speaker 2: And your blackness begins.
- 55:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Yes, sir. Sorry. I love that a lot. Yes, sir.
- 55:20Speaker 1: We had some cool black kids growing up in our area, bro. Right. Right.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Your basketball team picture is just so wonderful.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Oh, thanks, man. Cal Jackson on there. Don Galatis.
- 55:35Speaker 2: He had a child.
- 55:38Speaker 1: Number 34 of our basketball picture. We had a lot
- 55:40Speaker 1: of good kids in there, man. Right. Shout out James Gray.
- 55:43Speaker 1: His dad ran a tire place. He was in there.
- 55:49Speaker 2: There's Vincent.
- 55:50Speaker 1: He got all the ladies, Vincent, dude. And Johnny, that's
- 55:54Speaker 1: Big Johnny. He was damn 11 feet tall, baby. He
- 55:57Speaker 1: had birds living on his shoulders, baby. He was up there. Look,
- 56:03Speaker 1: we had a lot of cool kids in our area.
- 56:07Speaker 2: That's how we know everything is perception for you.
- 56:10Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 56:11Speaker 2: Because you gave two whole different sizes for two niggas
- 56:16Speaker 2: that's the same size. You can see they ain't the
- 56:20Speaker 2: same size in the picture. He doesn't let that change
- 56:23Speaker 2: his story. One of them was 7'7.
- 56:26Speaker 1: He was bigger than all the trees. The other one
- 56:30Speaker 1: was 6'1. Here they are together. Bro, Johnny was so tall,
- 56:34Speaker 1: he had windows on the side of his head, but
- 56:36Speaker 1: he was.
- 56:36Speaker 2: Tall, man.
- 56:38Speaker 1: No, you were kneeling down. Countless stories. Yeah, that's true.
- 56:42Speaker 1: You're right. I was kneeling down, man.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Yeah, but these experience, like, no matter what, like, that
- 56:53Speaker 2: dude number 34, like, we want to hear his stories.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:58Speaker 2: Like, we know he's got stories, and we want to
- 57:00Speaker 2: know if he'll tell the stories. And the fact that
- 57:03Speaker 2: that's what you do is why.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Well, thanks, man. Thanks for the nice words. I appreciate it.
- 57:12Speaker 1: You do a great job, too, man. Thank you for
- 57:14Speaker 1: all the joy over the years.
- 57:16Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 57:18Speaker 1: You just bought a military base, is that right?
- 57:24Speaker 2: Yeah, formerly Fort McClellan.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Fort McClellan. And was it an active base until recently?
- 57:33Speaker 2: I think it decommissioned in 1999.
- 57:37Speaker 1: What's it like over there?
- 57:39Speaker 2: Magnificent. Magnificent. It's going to be one of the greatest
- 57:45Speaker 2: things that I personally have ever.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Done, but it's, um, this is it.
- 57:51Speaker 2: That's, um, the front side of the beginning of the campus,
- 57:56Speaker 2: which is 30 buildings, um, three million indoor square feet, uh,
- 58:07Speaker 2: four and a half miles of roads. Like, you know,
- 58:10Speaker 2: we got the, We got the best parts of the base.
- 58:14Speaker 2: They had chemical testing and stuff.
- 58:17Speaker 1: We don't have those parts of the base. That's the
- 58:21Speaker 1: Department of Homeland Security. But, yeah, we just have a wonderful,
- 58:26Speaker 1: blessed space at the foothills of the mountains.
- 58:31Speaker 2: And it's really magical. And I was able to see what.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Tyler Perry was able to do with 200 or 300
- 58:44Speaker 2: acres and a military base.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's amazing. And how you.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Could make a movie studio out of that. And so, yeah, we're... Yeah, I.
- 58:58Speaker 1: It's unbelievable.
- 58:59Speaker 2: It hit the news recently, but I purchased it years,
- 59:06Speaker 2: a couple of years back.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I've had it.
- 59:09Speaker 2: So we've been working.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Was that a tough step to like take that, like, okay,
- 59:15Speaker 1: we can get this and we can do this. Like,
- 59:17Speaker 1: did you reach out to Tyler Perry? Cause I know
- 59:18Speaker 1: he has like in Atlanta, he has an amazing space.
- 59:21Speaker 1: He may have many spaces. Now this was three years ago.
- 59:24Speaker 1: I went to a space there to train for something
- 59:25Speaker 1: and they were, it was unbelievable.
- 59:29Speaker 2: No, no, no. I wasn't looking then or now for assistance.
- 59:36Speaker 2: We can do this. I just needed to be able
- 59:39Speaker 2: to have a home where great movies and entertainment product
- 59:50Speaker 2: could be made without any of the shenanigans that are
- 59:53Speaker 2: generally involved with Hollywood and be able to crank them out.
- 59:59Speaker 2: And that all it needs to do is be good.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: If it's good, we're going to make it. And so
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: even though it might have appeared from interviews of me that,
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: you know, this guy just loves tearing people apart, really,
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: you know, we're trying to create something where It can
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: provide a platform for a lot of people to show
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: what they do.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: So, yeah. So it would be a place where you
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: could make other people's kind of dreams come true, like
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: with film, television, that sort of thing. Right, right.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Where you can just basically have a great... script and
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: a great cast and leave your troubles at the door
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: and walk out with the movie hell yeah in the
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: can you know I mean like.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: I Like that. I like that doing things your yourself. Yeah.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Yeah Yeah, because they'll they'll let the comedy movie industry
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: die if we allow it You know what I mean?
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: And nobody in the fan base ever said, hey, we
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: don't want any more funny movies.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Nobody said that.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: None of the fans ever were like, hey, we're tired
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: of laughing in the movies.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Yeah, boo to the.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: No one ever said that. They just decided, you know,
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: we make more money in the superhero action department. Let's
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: just do all those. You know what I mean? And
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: so it'll just take for... somebody in the comedy sphere
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: to start producing funny shit. And there we go again.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Do you already have projects kind of on tap?
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Yeah, we got a slate. Well, I'm not allowed to
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: really answer that question, but yeah, like it's a great,
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: it's a great location where it is, you know, like
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: it's an hour and a half from, Atlanta or less.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: It's 45 minutes from Birmingham, you know. And I love
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: that area. And they're so thirsty to be involved, you know,
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: that we have equal thirst. So everybody wants it to work.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: And so it will.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Amen. Dude, that's exciting, huh? It is. It is. Will
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: you have kind of your hand in on most of
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the projects kind of like? Is that a weird question?
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: It's kind of not necessary for how it's set up.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: It's set up in much of the way the grocery
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: store is set up. So my job is just to
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: make sure that all of the food that we sell
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: in this grocery store belongs in this grocery store. You
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: see what I'm saying? Is it a good quality? Oh,
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: we'll get it in there. The people will want to
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: see that. Yeah, they'd love that. Yeah, the cherry plums. Yeah,
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: they'd love that. And once that barrier is crossed, then
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: we're just trying to make the best project for you
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: and to make your smaller budget be able to compete
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: with the larger budgets.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Yeah, because comedy don't need a really big budget either.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: It just needs to be funny. Yeah.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: It needs to be funny. But it also can't be
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: under budgeted, though. See, it can't.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: It's got to be professional. Yeah.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: It cannot look cheap regardless, which means it can't be.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: And that goes to the equipment and to the lighting.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: And that's why you need hundreds of acres of space
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: to be able to have all of what we're having
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: like they're they're building an amphitheater and you know we
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: have sound stages and a whole auditorium and you know
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: hell yeah yeah it's um that's that's pretty.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Nice instead of seeing if you have the cards that's
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: owning the deck really you know like instead of waiting
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: to get dealt the cards that's like saying we're gonna
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: have we're gonna it's just saying you're gonna have you're
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: gonna make sure that things can happen.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: It's like you having a podcast. It's like, it's almost
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: a no brainer. Like it makes sense. You know, it's something,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: you know, you can pull off. It's something that, you know,
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: you're invested in. It's something, you know, you do well,
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: you know? And so, yeah, it's that part.

- 1:07:32Speaker 1: married or not, Kat?
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: I have wives, but no.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: I'm a happy, happy man.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Yeah. Sometimes I thought I've been thinking a lot about
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: getting married, but I don't know if sometimes it's like
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: an outside pressure that I feel or if it's just
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: like something I would like to have that family, you know,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: like that. You know, I think you always have like
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: an idea of what a family is, you know. Yeah.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Sometimes I feel like that's something I want to try
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: to make happen, you know. It seemed like it would
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: be a real challenge.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: I was scared of marriage, but I was scared of divorce. Like,
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: my parents didn't get divorced. My parents are still together.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: So I never, I always felt like you only do
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: this one time, you know? And I was always more
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: happy of the bullets I had dodged than the people that, well,
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: I thought I could. I would have married her. Like
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: I was ready to, you know what I mean?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: And then you'll see him years later.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: And you're like, Oh my God. So yeah, happiness is
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: what I'm after. Not, um, titles or idealistic situations like
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: I just want to provide happiness and be provided that
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: as well and if you can get that situation regardless
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: of what it's called.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: That Yeah, maybe I get too stuck on the, yeah,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: maybe I sometimes do get too, like, feeling like I
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: have to fill in the blanks as opposed to what
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: do I really want to create, you know? Like, or
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: being like, what if I didn't get married? What would
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: people think? You know, sometimes I'll get that stuck in
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: my head, you know? Yeah. I guess it's normal, but.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: Yeah, like, I, yeah, like, I don't, I would hate
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: to be put in a situation where I have to
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: cheat on somebody. You know what I mean? And I
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: kind of feel like, what was the point?
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't want to set myself up for,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: that's a good point too. I don't want to set
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: myself up for a situation that would be uncomfortable for
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: me or I would hurt somebody else's feelings either. Right. Yeah,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: that's something I would not enjoy.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: But remember, in your next life, you know, you got
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: a black woman coming.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Ooh.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Things are going to change.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Oh, Lordy.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: Things are going to change.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: It's going to be something.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: It's going to be something.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: God.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Right. Have you experienced a black woman? Yeah, pretty much.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: I mean, I haven't dated just a black lady. She
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: wasn't our best representative.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: No, no, no. I mean, there's a cute black lady
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I met at the airport that if I see her again,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I think I would try to ask her out, but
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: I haven't seen her again. But I would be open
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: to dating a cool black lady. Hold on.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Let's talk specifically about this one you're talking about.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Yeah, she just looked like really confident and nice smile.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: And pretty eyes. And I was like, man, there's just
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: something about her. Okay. All right.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: And she was where?
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: That I admired. She was working at the airport.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Working at the airport.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: So she was a worker. She liked to work. She
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: doesn't mind work.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: Hey, they're beautiful. Which airport was this?
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: This was at LAX.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: You bet it was.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Yeah. So she was TSA approved too, you know? Right. Right. So, yeah,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: if I see her again, I would try to. No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: We're seeing her again.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: We're seeing her again. Because you have this feeling already.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: You're only saying it like, well, you never know. I
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: might not see. You're going to see her again.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: Because we, yeah, you're going to ask her out.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Beautiful. Fantastic. Oh, she might. No, she's not watching. She
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: might be watching. I don't know. She might be watching.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Do you do that? You put things like into, do
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: you like do that, like speak things into existence type
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: of thing?
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: I'm not powerful enough to do that, but I don't
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: ignore things that I see in existence. So what I'm
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: saying is I'm not going to ignore the fact that
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: you're not saying abstract. You know, if I saw a
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: black woman that did something for me, I'd ask her out.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: No, you actively saw one. Yeah. Yeah, and this is recent.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: Right. Yeah.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: And it's going to be life-changing.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah. Are black women a lot different, do you think? Yes.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: Yes. Like, You know black guys, right? Black women are
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: nothing like black guys. Like, I don't want to put
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: so much pressure on this lady at the airport, but
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: she doesn't know we've had this conversation. No, magnificent creatures.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Okay. Enslavery.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: Black women were appreciated. You understand how difficult that is?
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: That's some hard shit to pull off.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Yeah. I hate you guys, but not all of you.
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: Some of you are wonderful.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Precious beings.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. Black women are.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Almost unreal.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: Only because what it is that they possess, they don't.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: It's not on purpose. You know how we feel about
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: people on the spectrum?
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. They're magic. Right.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: The reverence that you and I have for that community, right?
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: You're going to feel that with black women.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: They're really where the word Nurture comes from, you know
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: what I mean? Like the ability to give you something
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: as a man that.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: You never had.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Before or felt before and make it comfortable for you
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: to access that.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Yeah, really life-changing.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Yeah, man, because I, yeah. Yeah, this could be part
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: of my 2025, man. It is. It clearly is. Right. Right.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: We've said it. Here we are. We've said it.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: You had a lot of last year, it seemed like
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: you had a lot of predictions last year. You kind
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: of became this oracle last year. Did you feel that?
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: That people came to you, you almost became kind of
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: like this, like a little bit of like a crystal ball,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: you know?
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: I'm... I'm honored to get to say the things that
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: I say when I'm saying them. And because you know
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: that I operate from a positive first standpoint in all things,
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: like I assume that it's going to work out for
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: the best. And I understand that if it is for
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: the worse, then I'm prepared to handle that as well.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: But yeah, it was something.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Did you start to worry any about your own safety
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: and stuff? Because it seemed like you really had some
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: moments where you're kind of, you know, almost channeling truths
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: into the world. And some people don't like that. You know,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: some people don't want to, I mean, the dark side
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: of things doesn't really probably enjoy that.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: Well, what it was that I was attempting to do
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: was impossible. So before I do this interview, there.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Is no Illuminati.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: It's just a joke. It's just something that crazy people
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: talk about. There's no such thing as our side and
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: God's side.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: None of that is even real.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: Yeah. I got to come and make it real. I
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: have to come and say, no, no, no, no. Everybody's
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: not the same. So that's why when I said that,
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: nobody came out and went, that's not true.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: I'm on God's side. Like, none of them.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: I'm just, the conversation was to show that there are
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: spiritual things going on in the world and that there
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: are things that are bigger than just coincidence and that
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: a ritual is something that you do over and over
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: and over again a certain way. You see what I'm saying?
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: If part of the ritual is wearing a dress, then
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: we should be able to look through entertainment and see
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: all of these people being made to wear a dress.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: That's what a ritual is, you know what I mean?
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: Whether they're white or black, that doesn't matter. There's not
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: other jobs where this is a requirement.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Why is this so necessary? Yeah, you don't see the
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: dog catcher show up every other year.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: I guess not a thing.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: In a nice skirt. You don't see an electrician come
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: up in a blouse every now and then. Right. I'm saying.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: A lot of people that doubt what you say don't read,
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: and they haven't been readers. You know what I mean?
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Like, books were my life, literally.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: I thought that I could learn enough information to be
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: an important person. You know what I mean? So I'm
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: actively trying to eat information.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Like.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Do you have a favorite book? No.
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: No, no, no. Even when I said how many books
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: I read, people are thinking maybe I'm reading 900 pages.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: I'm reading 150, 200-page books. And I'm reading as many
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: of them as I can because I'm trying to earn
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: these pizza parties and these other weekly reader things that exist.
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: My parents don't even celebrate holidays. I got to get
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: my own gifts, bitch. I'm fitting to read myself.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Into a t-shirt and a personal pan pizza.
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: So I got those books and then I got the
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: ones I'm trying to learn from.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: And those are separate. What was your question? Do you
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: have a first book that you remember reading or one
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: that got read to you when you were a kid
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: or something that you really liked? Like a book that
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: set it off for you that was like, oh.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: I read the Bible first.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: That's 66 books.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: So so yeah it kind of um was my starting
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: point in book reading but it it's a it's not
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: set up like a book technically it's very disjointed oh
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: yeah so i found that Everything else I.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: Read was an easy read. You know what I mean? Like,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: I loved reading all of the.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: Classics because I felt like I was literally in this story.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: You know what I mean? And I could read multiple
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: books at once. And, you know, I was completely enthralled
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: with reading.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Yeah, just the idea of being able to take myself
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: into a different place, you know? It was like, and
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: it really, I mean, words really is fuel for your imagination.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: It's like, that's how you would get your head going,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: you know?
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: Right, but I didn't want to use my imagination. I
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: wanted this imagination.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying? Oh, you wanted the information.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: I wanted to know what Huckleberry Finn, and I wanted
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: to know what they were doing.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Like, you know what I mean? Yeah.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: I wanted the adventures. You know what I mean? Like,
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: I was reading everything. Nancy Drew mysteries. Like, anything I
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: could get my hands on. The Hardy Boys. Like, I'm
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: reading that and, yeah. So many different stories that.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: You get.
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: You start understanding what it takes for someone to be
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: a winner in life. And you find out from reading
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: thousands of books that if you can list the fucked
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: up things that have happened in your life and you
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: can put that on a list and you somehow made
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: it past all of this, To be in a position
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: where you can still go make some stuff happen.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: That's what you have.
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: In common with every hero of every story of every
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: autobiography of every.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Wow. Is that. Yeah.
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: Is how much happened to you that should have broke
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: you that did not break you so that you were
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: able to then.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Fucking ride.
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: Amen.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: Amen. Did y'all, yeah, I'm trying to think of some
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: of my favorite books when I was a kid. I
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: don't even remember. When I was young, we're the Red
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: Fern Girl. We had to read all kind of shit.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: They had one book that kept killing this dog in it.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: I felt so bad for him.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: How many times can you kill a dog?
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: I mean, they kept, that thing was fucking really dead.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: I don't remember that. I don't know who wrote that bitch,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: but I think Stephen King wrote it. But that bitch
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: was dead, bro. After the second chapter, I said, this
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: bitch is dead.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: I think I only read one book he ever did
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: because I couldn't read his books without going, hey, dude,
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: whoever writes like this is a demon.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: And then he always had his picture on the back.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: And he looked scary, like, oh, uh-uh. Yeah, he looked
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: like he owned a bunch of ravens or something. That dude, yeah, everybody,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: he had one book, and the animals kept being alive
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: and dead.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: Edgar Allan Poe was a favorite of mine.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: He was a gangster, too. He had a lot of women, too.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Bring up some of his ladies he had. Edgar Allan
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Poe's girlfriend. He had a flock at the end. You know,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: I think he used to live in Virginia. You know that?
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: Edgar Allan Poe, click on a couple of his dimes
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: he had. Look at these broads right here. Yeah. Just
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: click on one of them, damn. Edgar Allan Poe, bitches.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Right there, baby. You tell him. Shorty won a thug.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: He was a clear pedophile. Come on, man. He was
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: a clear pedophile. She looks nine. And it says she
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: died when she was 24. She had tuberculosis, boy. That's
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: how he liked them. That's how he liked them, boy. Oh, shit. Now,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: she's cute.
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: No, come on now.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Right there, princess, baby. That was foster mother. That was
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: foster mother, whatever. Damn, bro, why are you fucking helping
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: me out? Fire.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: These were supposed to be his family members.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: Whatever. Our research department. Now, what about right there, Virginia Clem, baby?
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: That's a girlfriend. Right. And that was the.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: I'm saying, even today, that's heavy filters.
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: That was her looking good at any age right there.
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: That particular pose.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: Okay, I admit.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: You had to be a virgin to show that much necks.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: She was like, no one has ever.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: Yeah, pretty good. But what about her, though? Oh, wow.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: Let me see.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Sarah Helen Whitman, a professional writer who met Edgar through
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: the literary circles in New York. Fallatio. Yeah. Otherworldly.
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: That's the original Hawk tour. Sarah Helen Whitman. She get
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: those curls going. Oh, you're going to love it.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Bounce, bounce, bounce. Milk it, Sarah. Milk it. She'll slurp
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: you back to Saturn right there, man. Wait a minute.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: Why did Zuckerberg come?
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: Oh, jeez.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: I don't know why they brought him up. You have
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: genius here. Oh, we have the new hair. Yeah, he
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: has the new hair. What do you think about a
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: lot of these social media sites controlling how people communicate?
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: What do you think about that, man? You fear that
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: kind of stuff?
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: If it exists, it will be controlled and regulated.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: That's just a fact.
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: Whatever it is, that's the game. Can we get this
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: new thing controlled and regulated, right? And we are counting
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: on them to provide this platform that we use to
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: communicate on, right? So it's a trade-off. Always has been.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: If we understood that the Internet itself is a government function,
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: then how much privacy would you expect?
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: Right. Right. At that point, we're almost the fools for
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: pretending that we would still have it. Privacy. Yeah.
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: I'm saying, do you feel like in Hollywood that there are,
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: you know, I've heard you kind of allude to the
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: fact that there's like kind of, um, darker forces that
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: kind of like, you know, uh, That present opportunities to
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: people in trade-off, right? In trade for their own, maybe
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: their own peace, maybe their own reality, maybe a sacrifice
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: of their actual direction that they want. Do you think
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: that really happens, that kind of stuff?
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: I think everything is controlled and regulated.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: You think there's ever ways where we can get to
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: the control room and see who's controlling or you think
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: that's all?
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: We're past that. We're past that.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: But.
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: We don't protect the whistleblower, right? We don't honor the
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: scout that would tell us who it is. Matter of fact,
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: when they get him, we're going to go, oh, I
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: could have told you that was going to happen. They're
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: telling too much truth.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: Do you think Hollywood has a lot of things that
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: they like hold against people, you know? Like I had
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: a theory that.
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: A lot of this is human nature.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: Right. So it's not even Hollywood. It's just human nature.
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: It starts as human nature.
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: Like I'm saying this is in this. These things that
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: I'm saying in Hollywood exist in religion circles, in politics,
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: in the medical profession and like.
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: Yeah. In any circle of business, really.
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: They had a big bus with Puff Diddy where he
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: got arrested and then they've had like accusations and stuff.
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: He hasn't gone on trial. I don't think yet, but
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: do you think that they, there's been speculation that they
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: did that because they, the timing of that was they
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: wanted to like use other people that have allegedly been
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: involved in some of his circles to, they wanted to
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: kind of, use like, okay, you could be next unless
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: you help this political plan. Do you think that's at
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: all possible?
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: That's how all cases are handled, right? So what am
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: I saying? I'm saying if it's car theft and we're
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: going to accuse you of having a carjacking ring, right?
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: We're going to begin by bringing in people that we
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: caught who were robbing cars, who said that you was
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: the boss, they're first in line. And then we're going
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: to bring in victims, the people whose cars you stole
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: and said, yeah, that was him. That's how they build
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: a case. So none of that should be shocking.
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: You don't put it past them. It's part of.
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: What an investigation is.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: But do you feel like they would say to someone, okay,
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: we're going to bring you in unless.
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: Absolutely. That's what they did.
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: Even like in the rap world, like all of the
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: rappers that you know that never been to jail and never,
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: never gotten any trouble with the law, but they talk
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: as if, Their life is opposite of that.
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: Those are federal informants. You think they're really out there?
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: That's part of the job is to acquire those. It's
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: like saying, you know, if you're playing chess, do you
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: have any pawns?
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: You have to, don't you? You can't start without them. Right. Right. Wow.
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: Man, so how do you know who is, that's part
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: of the game, huh? You don't know.
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: It's part of the game.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it kind of makes it exciting too when you
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: think about it.
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: It can be exciting and depressing.
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: Did you ever do a rap album?
- 1:32:49Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: You did? Several. Several. I didn't know that. I'm sorry, man.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: I didn't research that. No problem.
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: I didn't put them out.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: You asked me, did I do them? Oh, yeah.
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: Did you have some collabs on them with anybody? Did
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: somebody help you produce some stuff? Master P, maybe, anything
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: like that? I'm sure he would be honored that of
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: all people, you name dropped him. I'm just thinking of
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: somebody from Louisiana. Right.
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: What a blessing.
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: When I was in college, he used to, they had,
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: it was like Master P, it was like Silk the Shocker,
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: like that whole cabal was really, really vibing, right?
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: So they used to have, they would all come to
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: LSU and play at the basketball courts, and they would
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: have these guys who would stand on the side and
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: hold their clothes, and they were dressed like kind of
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: Native Americans, like almost like black Indians kind of. And
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: some of them would have on little headdresses and stuff,
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: and they would have them all holding their clothes and
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: shoes on the side of the court. It was a vibe, man.
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: Yeah, all through that period of time, that whole No
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: Limit empire was really, really magnificent to the fan base.
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: They really went to places where people wanted to.
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: See them and delivered a show like we weren't used to. Um,
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: cause there was so many acts.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: Yeah. They had a lot of the whole group. You
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: know what I mean?
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: Like there was, they had, they all came together and like,
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: like put on a show that was just unbelievable in
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: all venues. It was extraordinary to watch.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: Did you ever tour with the, um, With a rap,
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: did you ever, because sometimes you'll have like musicians and rappers,
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: or musicians and comedians tour together.
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: You have? Mm-hmm. I just didn't know. Some people like that,
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: some people don't.
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I have Lil Mo on, has been on our
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: tour probably for the last three or four years. And
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: the Lady of Rage as well comes out. Music is
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: a wonderful partner, dude. comedy you know and um we
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: try to use that music and comedy are interspersed in
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: my life so it's always a part of my set.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: And um.
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: Yeah i'm a huge music fan.
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: Are you a instrumentalist you play anything.
- 1:35:34Speaker 2: No no no i play nothing and i cannot sing
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: can't sing, can't play anything, which makes me one of
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: the greatest music listeners. You know what I mean?
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: Like that's what I like.
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: And I, and I like immerse myself, you know, like,
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: like there's, there's like albums that represent like whole periods
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: of my life. You know what I mean? Like, um,
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: like the album counting crows, um, August and everything after.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: Down up in New Amsterdam.
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: Like, I know every song, every beat, every word, like,
- 1:36:20Speaker 2: because where I was at the time and them Pearl Jams.
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36:27Speaker 2: Tin.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: At home, drawing pictures of mountaintops. Yeah. With him on top. Like,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:36:37Speaker 2: Because I was listening to stuff that it made me
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: feel like they're really singing about me.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: How I think or feel some moment. All of it. Yeah.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Remember Shy? Remember that group came out? And if I
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: ever fall. Remember them? I can't sing either. I do.
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: You did pretty good.
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: Thank you, bro.
- 1:36:59Speaker 2: Appreciate that.
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: They would be proud. They were good, bro. They were.
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: They were good.
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: But that was a great time for music of all genres.
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: Like, good music was just good music.
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I remember one of them. I'm trying
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: to think of one of the first. Oh, I went
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: to a black guy. Green Day. You're going to make
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: a great black guy. Oh, yeah. And they had Tevin Campbell.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: Remember him?
- 1:37:23Speaker 4: Can we talk for a minute?
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: Tevin Campbell. Girl, I want to know your name. I'm like, well,
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: fucking just go talk to her then. No, like, tell
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: the truth. When we saw him and we heard the song,
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: we were like, are you sure you want to talk
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: to her? Yeah, yeah. No wonder you're so trepidatious. That's true.
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: That's true, that's true, that's true. He really had a different...
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: right the sequel the sequel to that song was a
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: surprise we'll just say like that man the sequel was
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: a surprise that was a good time though right that
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: was a good time it was a good time when
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: was that um that was late 90s i think did
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: you ever get to meet michael jackson before.
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: No i got to meet prince.
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: You did yeah did you ever get to go bike
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: riding with him or anything like that?
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: Who's that?
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: Prince.
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: I think bike riding may have been the only thing we... Yeah, no, no.
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: He wasn't doing bike riding. He had had an experience...
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: Let's see. So when I meet him, I'm 12. I
- 1:38:52Speaker 2: guess he's 18, 19.
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: Oh, you met him when you were 12?
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I knew him my whole... I'm saying from 12
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: till he left, that was... I knew him the whole time. Like, yeah,
- 1:39:09Speaker 2: he was a magnificent, one-of-a-kind individual. Like, I got to.
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: He lived different lives.
- 1:39:25Speaker 2: Like he wasn't where we are and we're talking about
- 1:39:28Speaker 2: how we need to.
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: Reinvent.
- 1:39:32Speaker 2: And he was like the master at that.
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 1:39:37Speaker 2: Like he was only going to be this version of
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: himself for a very short amount of time. until he
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: had mastered it and then he was going to go
- 1:39:49Speaker 2: to something else.
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: And he always had that energy, huh? Yeah.
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: From the, yeah.
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: Yeah. He was, yeah.
- 1:39:58Speaker 2: But, but when I met him, he was already a millionaire.
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: And so I, I couldn't initially understand what kept driving him,
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: you know, because it just seemed to me like he
- 1:40:11Speaker 2: was never happy. Because every time I would see him,
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: he had achieved like 30 new things and had purchased
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: like 100 new things. And still yet, he was working
- 1:40:27Speaker 2: like he didn't, you know? And I probably was just
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: not understanding what work ethic was, you know? But yeah,
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: I learned a lot from that guy. I met Shaq
- 1:40:39Speaker 2: when I was 16.
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: Damn, where at, you think? I know where.
- 1:40:46Speaker 2: In Orlando, his rookie year.
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: Yeah, because he played at LSU, man. Yeah, great guy.
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: Great guy.
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: Be safe.
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: Yeah, right.
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Dude, if I was that big, I couldn't get
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: my big ass out of bed at that size, man.
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: It'd be so hard. You know, because sometimes it's kind
- 1:41:08Speaker 1: of hard at even a regular size to get up.
- 1:41:10Speaker 1: I don't believe that. Dude, you know how hard it
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: is to get a big old look at it right there?
- 1:41:16Speaker 1: It's so hard to get up when you big. Right.
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: I watched my aunt get up sometime like she ain't
- 1:41:22Speaker 1: going to get up. You know what I'm talking about?
- 1:41:26Speaker 1: You ever see somebody and you're like, she ain't going
- 1:41:29Speaker 1: to get up.
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: That's when.
- 1:41:32Speaker 1: And they figure it out.
- 1:41:33Speaker 2: When all of the places were catching on fire, that
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: was my first thought was like, Nobody on my 600-pound
- 1:41:44Speaker 2: life is going to make it out of none of this. Like, what?
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that show's over, bro.
- 1:41:53Speaker 2: Like, there's a whole portion of the population that can't
- 1:41:55Speaker 2: get up.
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: Everybody's like, evacuate.
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: Somebody just shit in the bed.
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: I did. I did evacuate. They evacuate, they just look
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: the other way. That's their evacuate. Just lean away from
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: the warm. Flip the pillow. Yeah. Did you, what did
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: you and Prince do? Did y'all ever go out to
- 1:42:31Speaker 1: eat or nothing? Like, what did he like to do? No, so, like,
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: you know how some people have chef's? Like he was
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: beyond that. Like he, he wanted, he, he wanted chef,
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: a chef to know what he was preparing.
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: Like, I don't know how to explain it, but like
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: he wasn't vegan the whole time I knew him, you know,
- 1:43:07Speaker 2: he was just vegan for this portion. And, But before that,
- 1:43:12Speaker 2: he had a whole different thing. But he would have
- 1:43:15Speaker 2: an Italian chef to make Italian when that's what he
- 1:43:19Speaker 2: was having. And he, like, to the extreme. He was extreme. Yeah. So,
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: you know, you would get the most beautiful meals around
- 1:43:31Speaker 2: this dude because he was a foodie. Oh, damn.
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: I'd love to watch.
- 1:43:36Speaker 2: Him eat a little.
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: Eat a little snack or something, a little creme brulee
- 1:43:42Speaker 1: or a little big scoop of ice cream. I'd love
- 1:43:45Speaker 1: to see that. Because he was kind of smaller, wasn't he?
- 1:43:50Speaker 2: I'm 5'5, so it never really factored in. Oh, you're
- 1:43:55Speaker 2: bigger than him, I think. Yeah. But I'm saying I
- 1:43:59Speaker 2: wasn't gazing at him while he was eating.
- 1:44:01Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, sorry.
- 1:44:03Speaker 2: Yeah, we always had enough women around for him.
- 1:44:06Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:44:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: I wasn't there in a longing fashion. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, sorry.
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: Watch a small person, if they get up against a
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: real hard scoop of ice cream, they fucking can't handle
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: that bitch, you know? No, no, no.
- 1:44:28Speaker 2: I didn't get it. Rewind that again. Okay, sorry.
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: Somehow I missed that and I can't accept it.
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: No, I just sometimes if somebody, you know, I know
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: like if I get up, if it's a real cold
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: scoop of ice cream and it's hard to, you know,
- 1:44:42Speaker 1: get with a spoon or something, I just imagine like
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: a smaller guy battling that, battling that bitch, bro. I just,
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: I can't. Oh, shit. So that's what I envision. I
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: want you to acknowledge how funny that was. I just
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: want to envision in my head, Prince. Just got two
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: or three spoons going on that bit. He going to
- 1:45:06Speaker 1: get in there. He'd have whooped your ass in here.
- 1:45:09Speaker 1: He probably would have, and blessings, man. I'd have had
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: to pull him off. Man, he's a purple superhero, and
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: he is the king, man. In real life, yeah. I'm
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: just joking, Prince. If your spirit is here, I'm sure
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: it is somewhere.
- 1:45:24Speaker 2: It is indeed, yeah. And he had a great sense
- 1:45:27Speaker 2: of humor.
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: Oh, I saw him stop in. I was in Minneapolis.
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: They used to have this place called... And he got
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: more pussy than you. Did he?
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, of course he did. What the fuck am
- 1:45:38Speaker 1: I talking about? It took me half a second to
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: realize that. Yeah, of course he did. Damn, boy.
- 1:45:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: Well, no, they had a place, though, that he would
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: go perform sometimes on a certain night. It was in Minneapolis,
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: and a lot of musicians would just show up, and
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: one night he showed up there, man, and it was amazing.
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: It was just random people would get together and play.
- 1:46:00Speaker 2: No, he loved that probably more than Anything else, like
- 1:46:05Speaker 2: he loved that more than touring. He loved that more
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: than anything is jam sessions. And he had places all
- 1:46:17Speaker 2: over the globe. And he was welcomed at, I'm saying,
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: you're talking about a guy that played 26 instruments. You
- 1:46:25Speaker 2: feel what I'm saying? Like we're talking about a guy.
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: That like most people, Yeah. Just magical, huh?
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: If you couldn't learn from what he did, then you
- 1:46:43Speaker 2: just passed learning.
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 1:46:45Speaker 2: Like, the shit resonates regardless of what it is you're
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: trying to do.
- 1:46:51Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:46:51Speaker 2: And so, yeah, I was blessed to.
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: Even be around him, huh? Yeah.
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: Yeah, just to be able to witness... a short.
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: Young black guy.
- 1:47:10Speaker 2: Navigate the highest echelons of entertainment and still be holding
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: on to things that he doesn't do and won't do
- 1:47:24Speaker 2: and still feeling like he needs to look out for
- 1:47:30Speaker 2: other musicians and other artists and still trying not to
- 1:47:36Speaker 2: bring shame on his fans or other Black people or
- 1:47:45Speaker 2: music lovers or, you know, just a wonderful human, you know?
- 1:47:54Speaker 2: That's what you can learn.
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: Now i feel bad about making that joke but i
- 1:47:58Speaker 1: feel okay still i mean i feel you should it's
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: okay yeah i'm just joking yeah um yeah but did
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: um when you were growing up did you ever have
- 1:48:11Speaker 1: like a tv for like a like a tv father
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: kind of you know like i had like i'm trying
- 1:48:15Speaker 1: to think of like just trying to think of like
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: influences that you had when you were young like i
- 1:48:18Speaker 1: had like Little House on the Prairie was a show
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: I would watch that they had. Michael Landon was on it.
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: And then they had like In the Heat of the Night.
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: I really liked that show.
- 1:48:30Speaker 2: Now, wait a minute.
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: Who was the father figure.
- 1:48:34Speaker 2: On In the Heat of the Night? Was the black
- 1:48:38Speaker 2: guy your father figure?
- 1:48:39Speaker 1: Oh, Virgil Tibbs. Virgil Tibbs. Yeah, brother. He was good.
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: I will tell you this. I met his wife at a,
- 1:48:47Speaker 1: or not his wife, but.
- 1:48:48Speaker 2: The lady that played?
- 1:48:49Speaker 1: Yes, that's her right there. Virgil and Sophia was his
- 1:48:51Speaker 1: wife in the show, I think.
- 1:48:53Speaker 2: She was way smaller than you thought, right?
- 1:48:56Speaker 1: She was very beautiful. And I saw her at a
- 1:48:58Speaker 1: breakfast place and I was like, I cannot go back
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: in there and tell her. And I did. And it was, she,
- 1:49:03Speaker 1: I think she kind of appreciated it, but it was
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: still pretty awkward, I think. But she's very beautiful. But yeah,
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: I liked him and Carol O'Connor was in it. But
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: in the heat, that was my heat. Right. That shit
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: was good. I loved that. What else did I like?
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of a show where I had
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: like a TV dad. Did you have like a TV
- 1:49:23Speaker 1: family or someone that you kind of liked?
- 1:49:27Speaker 2: As a black man, I had a real father.
- 1:49:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:49:35Speaker 2: I wasn't looking at TV for the images of a
- 1:49:40Speaker 2: real good black father because I had one.
- 1:49:44Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 1:49:45Speaker 2: So for me, it was.
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: A little.
- 1:49:53Speaker 2: Interesting just to see how other fathers were portrayed, you know? Yeah.
- 1:50:02Speaker 2: I more enjoyed, like, seeing the dynamics of other families
- 1:50:07Speaker 2: and how things went for them because that's the only
- 1:50:13Speaker 2: way that I knew, oh, I don't have that type
- 1:50:17Speaker 2: of upbringing at all. Wow, that's, yeah. I didn't even
- 1:50:25Speaker 2: know my mother was supposed to love me. Like, I
- 1:50:28Speaker 2: didn't know that was.
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: Sorry to laugh, man, but yeah.
- 1:50:33Speaker 2: She's never kissed me in my life. I didn't know
- 1:50:36Speaker 2: she was supposed to like.
- 1:50:37Speaker 1: Me like that. I'm sorry. She made sure I ate.
- 1:50:42Speaker 2: I had clean clothes.
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: But I'm saying I didn't. It would have been shocking
- 1:50:51Speaker 1: if my mom was always working. I would be like, Mom,
- 1:50:55Speaker 1: tell me you love me. She'd be like, I got
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: to move this box over here. That's what she would
- 1:50:58Speaker 1: be like. I'm like, Mom, how do you feel about me?
- 1:51:03Speaker 1: She's like, oh, we got to put all these boxes away.
- 1:51:06Speaker 1: She always had something to do, you know? Like, if
- 1:51:08Speaker 1: a feeling came up, my mom just couldn't have it,
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: you know? No, John, I love you, Mom. I'm just,
- 1:51:13Speaker 1: it's funny. Now it's funny. Right.
- 1:51:16Speaker 2: But now you can.
- 1:51:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that shit was ridiculous, though. I was like, Mom,
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: how do you feel about me? She's like, we got
- 1:51:25Speaker 1: to get this car to start. I'm like, what the
- 1:51:27Speaker 1: fuck are you talking about? Where's the vacuum? Yeah, yeah. Right. Yeah,
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: that was it. That's what I think. That's what I
- 1:51:39Speaker 1: always was looking for, for me.
- 1:51:40Speaker 2: But these are the things that guarantee success. That's what
- 1:51:43Speaker 2: I'm telling you.
- 1:51:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:51:45Speaker 2: It's part of what's on that list that, you know,
- 1:51:49Speaker 2: you've got certain things against you. You're going to be successful.
- 1:51:57Speaker 1: Right. Yeah.
- 1:51:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you're going to be in a position where you
- 1:52:02Speaker 2: can rectify things.
- 1:52:07Speaker 1: You know that.
- 1:52:12Speaker 2: You're way more appreciative of love because of that. You're
- 1:52:19Speaker 2: in a position where you can still be loved by
- 1:52:23Speaker 2: the black lady at the airport.
- 1:52:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:52:26Speaker 4: 2025.
- 1:52:28Speaker 1: My little layover lady. That's what I'm calling my little layover.
- 1:52:34Speaker 1: I've seen, this is something that I thought, there's only
- 1:52:38Speaker 1: two things that I think that I've seen and I'm
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: not sure. One of them was that Santa Claus, when
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: I was a kid, that they brought us outside and
- 1:52:44Speaker 1: they had a real sleigh go by in the air.
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: It was an airplane that they disguised as a sleigh
- 1:52:48Speaker 1: in our town. Mm-hmm. The second one is, I thought
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: I saw you riding bikes down Sunset Boulevard. Right. So
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: now the funniest part of all of that. Is that
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: a true story?
- 1:52:59Speaker 2: It's because all of your stories are true, right? But
- 1:53:04Speaker 2: the whole thing is, when you're telling this story, we
- 1:53:09Speaker 2: ride by on these bikes with lights on them.
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: Yeah, like from the future. Circus members.
- 1:53:15Speaker 2: But really... Really, this is a million and a half
- 1:53:19Speaker 2: dollars worth of can-am spiders. Eight of them, 200,000 apiece.
- 1:53:29Speaker 2: Me and Suge going down sunset.
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, I didn't see those, man. I'm sorry. I
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: saw some bitches. Somebody covered them bitches.
- 1:53:41Speaker 2: Cat Williams came by with a Shetland pony. Hey, had
- 1:53:46Speaker 2: neon lights on the hooves.
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: Somebody spray painted silly string on the back of that.
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: With a violin. Started playing it. Do you believe in
- 1:53:57Speaker 1: life after life? Yeah, I swear to God, I'm standing
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: on the porch. I look over there. Right. And you
- 1:54:04Speaker 1: had done one of those things where you stand up,
- 1:54:06Speaker 1: but keep, you know what I'm saying? It's just, you know,
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: when you're riding down the street.
- 1:54:09Speaker 2: I'm 5'5, so I do that better than most.
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: And I said, damn, there he goes, bro. Right. And
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: by the time I get anybody's attention, nobody believed me.
- 1:54:20Speaker 1: So that's why I think it had a lot of
- 1:54:21Speaker 1: that same, like, when you saw Santa, you know, type
- 1:54:23Speaker 1: of energy.
- 1:54:24Speaker 2: Right. Well, I understand. I didn't take away from the myth.
- 1:54:28Speaker 2: I just clarified.
- 1:54:29Speaker 1: Yeah. No, good. Because I thought I was crazy for
- 1:54:32Speaker 1: thinking that. Right. What do you see happening in 2025, Cat?
- 1:54:37Speaker 1: This is where we get to where, like, What do
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: you feel like? What do you feel like are things
- 1:54:45Speaker 1: we can look forward to, things we can stay conscious of?
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: Can I bum another cigarette by chance, man? You got
- 1:54:52Speaker 1: an extra one?
- 1:54:53Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: Let's do it. Yeah, so... Let me get that bitch,
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: get my lungs up.
- 1:54:58Speaker 2: We're already in 2025, aren't we? Yeah. Yeah, so... You
- 1:55:04Speaker 2: right already.
- 1:55:05Speaker 1: Yeah, see there?
- 1:55:07Speaker 2: So the whole thing is we're not... This.
- 1:55:12Speaker 2: This thing does not happen in yearly cycles. It's not
- 1:55:17Speaker 2: an every 12 months thing. That's not how it works.
- 1:55:24Speaker 2: The age of truth is not one year. It's the
- 1:55:29Speaker 2: beginning of people having more of a thirst for what
- 1:55:35Speaker 2: is true than an appetite for lies. So if you
- 1:55:43Speaker 2: sell lies, it's a harder road for you. If you
- 1:55:48Speaker 2: have truths to tell, people are hungry for that, and
- 1:55:52Speaker 2: they'll pay you handsomely to hear the truth. It wasn't
- 1:55:57Speaker 2: always that way. It's that way right now in real time.
- 1:56:01Speaker 2: Whatever that means to you, that's the battle that's going on.
- 1:56:06Speaker 2: It's people who profit from the manipulation of others. by
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: getting you to believe something that's not the case. And
- 1:56:16Speaker 2: that's how they make their living. And it is now
- 1:56:21Speaker 2: a difficult time for those entities.
- 1:56:28Speaker 1: Do you think that there is actual cloning going on?
- 1:56:33Speaker 2: We know that there's actual cloning going on. The question
- 1:56:39Speaker 2: I believe you're asking is human cloning.
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: Oh, yes, sir.
- 1:56:43Speaker 2: But let's start with the real question. The real question is,
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: is cloning going on?
- 1:56:49Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it is. I knew it. Well, I'm saying
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: let's just say animal cloning. Oh, yes. Let's start there.
- 1:56:59Speaker 2: That's not a myth. No, that's been known. That's not
- 1:57:03Speaker 2: a conspiracy theory that we are at the point where
- 1:57:07Speaker 2: we have no problem cloning animals if you lose a pet.
- 1:57:12Speaker 2: You can send away to these companies and they will.
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: They'll fucking remix that bitch and send it back. Right. Yeah.
- 1:57:20Speaker 2: As close to proximity as you can imagine.
- 1:57:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:57:24Speaker 2: That we know is possible.
- 1:57:26Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: So now... Through viagin pets right there.
- 1:57:31Speaker 2: So that's in the animal world. So now in the
- 1:57:36Speaker 2: human world, we know that there are multiple surgeries... That
- 1:57:42Speaker 2: we know we can replace this with that. All the
- 1:57:49Speaker 2: way up to, what's our last achievement? Is it heart?
- 1:57:57Speaker 2: The guy passed away with a pig heart.
- 1:58:02Speaker 1: But it worked for, I'm saying. Let me see that.
- 1:58:05Speaker 1: Bring up that pig-hearted guy. Right there. Yeah.
- 1:58:11Speaker 2: Two people have received.
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: A genetically modified pig heart transplant, David Bennett and Lawrence Fawcett.
- 1:58:19Speaker 1: Both were performed in Maryland.
- 1:58:25Speaker 2: So there's not.
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: The evidence is there.
- 1:58:33Speaker 2: Very much left on what it would take as far
- 1:58:38Speaker 2: as abilities go.
- 1:58:39Speaker 1: Do you think there's any artists now that you think
- 1:58:44Speaker 1: are not the same artists that we thought they were?
- 1:58:50Speaker 2: If we're only speaking of biology, I've heard that.
- 1:58:58Speaker 2: A man's G-spot is in his anal passage, which means
- 1:59:02Speaker 2: I'm gonna go my whole life without ever experiencing it.
- 1:59:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:59:12Speaker 2: By the same token, everybody is a reflection of what
- 1:59:19Speaker 2: they gotta go through to get to where they at, right?
- 1:59:23Speaker 2: And I just know that The people that have been
- 1:59:30Speaker 2: in positions where they decided to do some stuff that
- 1:59:34Speaker 2: they said they weren't going to do, they don't be
- 1:59:37Speaker 2: the same on the other side. Nothing they can do
- 1:59:43Speaker 2: can make them seem like what you remember them as.
- 1:59:49Speaker 2: I call it spiritual because I don't know what else
- 1:59:53Speaker 2: to call it.
- 1:59:55Speaker 1: Have you ever faced... that in your own life where
- 2:00:01Speaker 1: people try to come at you for offers like that?
- 2:00:04Speaker 1: Do you think that like stars and get offered that
- 2:00:08Speaker 1: kind of thing? Like to compromise themselves sexually for entertainment?
- 2:00:16Speaker 2: Again, the things that we are discussing exist in each
- 2:00:23Speaker 2: of the fields.
- 2:00:25Speaker 1: Right, any field. Right, right.
- 2:00:29Speaker 2: Not entertainment exclusively, politics, religion, science, everywhere, right? Some of
- 2:00:38Speaker 2: this is human nature, right? Because we listen and we
- 2:00:45Speaker 2: don't judge.
- 2:00:51Speaker 1: Were there things that you didn't take in your career
- 2:00:54Speaker 1: that you feel like were like, are there things to
- 2:00:59Speaker 1: look out for, do you feel like?
- 2:01:02Speaker 2: There wasn't for me because I knew I wasn't going
- 2:01:04Speaker 2: to take it, but I did want to get offered.
- 2:01:06Speaker 2: You know what I mean? And most of the stuff
- 2:01:09Speaker 2: I wouldn't have believed until I had to get to
- 2:01:12Speaker 2: a certain level to get to see the proof. You
- 2:01:15Speaker 2: know what I mean? So I was as shocked as
- 2:01:19Speaker 2: anybody about How powerful Harvey Weinstein was at the time
- 2:01:26Speaker 2: that I was meeting with him. And how he could
- 2:01:36Speaker 2: not be told no. That he get whatever he want.
- 2:01:42Speaker 1: You follow what I'm saying? They'll figure out some way.
- 2:01:45Speaker 2: Right. So I thought that didn't apply to me because
- 2:01:47Speaker 2: I don't care about nothing but. Bitches in good business, right?
- 2:01:54Speaker 2: And then he offered me two actresses like they was
- 2:01:58Speaker 2: playing cards. And I was like, what?
- 2:02:03Speaker 1: Like he just jumped you in the head.
- 2:02:04Speaker 2: He was like, I know you.
- 2:02:08Speaker 1: Damn. Right. Like what? Some aces. No, my personal aces. Yeah.
- 2:02:17Speaker 1: Did you think about it? Look, I'm not.
- 2:02:24Speaker 2: In these scary situations, I don't even leave it up
- 2:02:27Speaker 2: to me. I'm going to do what the superhero would
- 2:02:31Speaker 2: do in this part of the movie regardless and deal
- 2:02:38Speaker 2: with what happens after. Just because it's a story, and
- 2:02:43Speaker 2: I know it's a story. It's my story. You know
- 2:02:46Speaker 2: what I mean? So I can't.
- 2:02:48Speaker 1: That's a good way to think about things in general. Yeah.
- 2:02:51Speaker 1: What would the superhero do right now?
- 2:02:53Speaker 2: Yeah, because I'm saying I read about Jesus getting to
- 2:02:58Speaker 2: the mountaintop and the devil saying you can have all
- 2:03:02Speaker 2: of this and him saying you don't have anything to
- 2:03:08Speaker 2: offer me. Like, you know what I mean? So that's
- 2:03:10Speaker 2: what I got to look up to. So I'm going
- 2:03:14Speaker 2: to follow suit in the best version I can regardless
- 2:03:18Speaker 2: of anything else.
- 2:03:24Speaker 1: Um, do you have a comedian that passed away that
- 2:03:26Speaker 1: you really like, that you miss a lot? I mean,
- 2:03:30Speaker 1: I know there's been a lot of them, but did
- 2:03:35Speaker 1: you have like a.
- 2:03:35Speaker 2: Real scary say, I miss so many, like, did you
- 2:03:38Speaker 2: have like a brother in comedy?
- 2:03:39Speaker 1: Like I.
- 2:03:41Speaker 2: Miss so many.
- 2:03:42Speaker 1: I like, what was Bernie Mac? Like, was he a
- 2:03:45Speaker 1: super guy? Cause I never seen anybody like him. That's
- 2:03:52Speaker 1: a great place to start.
- 2:03:53Speaker 2: No, you never saw anybody like him just because there
- 2:03:57Speaker 2: wasn't anybody like him. You know what I mean? Like
- 2:04:02Speaker 2: the things people pretend to do and talk themselves up
- 2:04:07Speaker 2: to be and he was that.
- 2:04:12Speaker 1: Already. Yeah, I....
- 2:04:21Speaker 2: I went down to his show when he was taping
- 2:04:26Speaker 2: and they were saying he wasn't feeling good. And I
- 2:04:29Speaker 2: left there feeling like they're murdering this dude. Like he
- 2:04:38Speaker 2: had a lung problem, right? And the doctors told him
- 2:04:42Speaker 2: that he just had to take time away from the
- 2:04:44Speaker 2: show and he could come back when he was okay, right?
- 2:04:50Speaker 2: And his contract wouldn't let him. And they made him
- 2:04:54Speaker 2: work through, like, yeah. But I miss all of the
- 2:05:02Speaker 2: comedy angels that I came in contact with from Charlie
- 2:05:10Speaker 2: Murphy to Heavy D. I miss Heavy D, John Witherspoon.
- 2:05:19Speaker 2: You know, like We lost some really great comics. I
- 2:05:24Speaker 2: miss Rinaldo Ray.
- 2:05:26Speaker 1: I miss....
- 2:05:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been a lot.
- 2:05:30Speaker 1: Bring up a picture of Rinaldo Ray. I'm just not
- 2:05:32Speaker 1: familiar with him, just so I can see what he
- 2:05:34Speaker 1: looks like. Oh, yeah.
- 2:05:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:05:41Speaker 1: Didn't he play in the Cosby show? Was he the grandfather?
- 2:05:45Speaker 2: He was a brilliant, brilliant.
- 2:05:49Speaker 1: Individual. Like, he... He had.
- 2:05:54Speaker 2: Multiple master's degrees and was an art collector and a
- 2:06:01Speaker 2: real legendary guy.
- 2:06:04Speaker 1: Reynaldo.
- 2:06:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:06:09Speaker 2: What other?
- 2:06:10Speaker 1: What about Bill Cosby? Did you ever get to meet
- 2:06:12Speaker 1: him or not? Before he had all the problems? Is
- 2:06:21Speaker 1: being a rapist one of the problems? Sorry. You said
- 2:06:29Speaker 1: it like, before he got scurvy. Sorry, bro. That was, yeah,
- 2:06:42Speaker 1: that was, yeah, I did. But, yeah, what was he
- 2:06:47Speaker 1: like before that, man? Right, right. I don't know. I
- 2:06:54Speaker 1: don't know.
- 2:06:59Speaker 2: Comedically, he has some works comedically that you could put
- 2:07:05Speaker 2: up there in the pantheon of joke telling.
- 2:07:09Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. He had so many albums when I was
- 2:07:11Speaker 1: a kid that our parents would play in the car,
- 2:07:13Speaker 1: stuff like that. Right.
- 2:07:14Speaker 2: And he spent a good portion of his televised... really
- 2:07:22Speaker 2: making black men and black families look really good in
- 2:07:28Speaker 2: a time when that was not a popular thing to do.
- 2:07:35Speaker 2: None of that supersedes racist. But, yeah, I was glad
- 2:07:44Speaker 2: to not be a fan of his just because, you know,
- 2:07:50Speaker 2: We liked Richard Pryor and you had to kind of like,
- 2:07:53Speaker 2: which way are you? Are you Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx,
- 2:07:56Speaker 2: or are you Bill Cosby?
- 2:07:58Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's definitely different then. What else is
- 2:08:07Speaker 1: going on?
- 2:08:07Speaker 2: Please don't have an R. Kelly question next.
- 2:08:09Speaker 1: I do not have an R. Kelly question.
- 2:08:11Speaker 2: No.
- 2:08:13Speaker 1: No, I don't. Did you get to go to Bernie
- 2:08:15Speaker 1: Mac's funeral? Did he have a big funeral? No.
- 2:08:24Speaker 2: Steve Harvey was at his funeral, so I wouldn't have
- 2:08:27Speaker 2: been there anyway.
- 2:08:29Speaker 1: I didn't know that.
- 2:08:30Speaker 4: What else?
- 2:08:39Speaker 2: I'll be able to tell you when you're black.
- 2:08:42Speaker 1: Okay. Okay. I feel like I'm not doing that good
- 2:08:45Speaker 1: right now on it. You're doing great. Okay. What do
- 2:08:48Speaker 1: you mean? Thanks, man. Okay. did you get, was it
- 2:08:52Speaker 1: scary for you to be a parent whenever you decided
- 2:08:54Speaker 1: you wanted to be a parent? Oh, yeah. Yeah.
- 2:08:59Speaker 2: Yeah, that's, yeah, that's one of those things where it's
- 2:09:06Speaker 2: only looking back that you realize, oh, I was not
- 2:09:11Speaker 2: in any way qualified for that job. Like, like, you know,
- 2:09:15Speaker 2: but you try so hard, you know, and it means everything,
- 2:09:20Speaker 2: but yeah it's it's exciting and scary like you can't
- 2:09:35Speaker 2: so you you don't have you don't have any kids.
- 2:09:39Speaker 1: No I want to get I would like to have
- 2:09:41Speaker 1: some children but.
- 2:09:42Speaker 2: I just well if you have one child you're not
- 2:09:46Speaker 2: gonna you're not gonna have the drug issue to deal
- 2:09:54Speaker 2: with ever again.
- 2:09:55Speaker 1: Really?
- 2:09:56Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's going to... You can't do them both.
- 2:10:03Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:10:07Speaker 2: You can't do them both.
- 2:10:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:10:11Speaker 2: As soon as you have... And it doesn't matter how
- 2:10:14Speaker 2: you get this child.
- 2:10:16Speaker 1: Okay. The second you become a father and.
- 2:10:22Speaker 2: This life is dependent upon you, like, you're going to
- 2:10:26Speaker 2: devote everything to that and you're going to have to.
- 2:10:32Speaker 2: You're going to have to. Because only somebody with your
- 2:10:35Speaker 2: experiences will be able to deal with not being able
- 2:10:39Speaker 2: to sleep for like two months. You know what I mean?
- 2:10:43Speaker 2: Just on this baby's schedule that has no schedule except Yeah,
- 2:10:53Speaker 2: it's crazy. Life-changing doesn't even say the half of it. But,
- 2:10:59Speaker 2: you know, do you have pets?
- 2:11:02Speaker 1: Mm-mm.
- 2:11:03Speaker 2: See, this is the thing.
- 2:11:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Right. I'm going to get started soon.
- 2:11:07Speaker 2: This is what's keeping you able to be in this
- 2:11:10Speaker 2: world is because you've not given yourself a life responsibility.
- 2:11:16Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying? I think that's why I
- 2:11:17Speaker 1: became a comedian, because I didn't want any responsibilities, really. Right, right.
- 2:11:21Speaker 1: In a lot of ways. I think it's a big
- 2:11:24Speaker 1: part of me that starts to feel like, yeah, I'm
- 2:11:25Speaker 1: missing out if I don't. I'm probably missing out, but
- 2:11:28Speaker 1: I just want to know. I want to have every
- 2:11:30Speaker 1: experience I can, you know? Right. Right. And you can. Yeah.
- 2:11:34Speaker 2: And this is the vehicle for that.
- 2:11:37Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 2:11:38Speaker 2: That's what a coincidence that all your life will line
- 2:11:42Speaker 2: up for you to want to do that. And then
- 2:11:46Speaker 2: to meet a girl at the airport that already loves
- 2:11:51Speaker 2: to fly and travel.
- 2:11:54Speaker 1: And make sure I don't have any illegal substances on me, too,
- 2:11:58Speaker 1: at the same time.
- 2:12:00Speaker 2: Just because you're not going to need them.
- 2:12:04Speaker 1: Are you a pet owner? Are you a big pet owner, man?
- 2:12:06Speaker 1: I've heard that you've got some animals over there. Yeah,
- 2:12:08Speaker 1: I love the animals. I've heard you've got a couple
- 2:12:11Speaker 1: of horses, things like that. They're great. Yeah. Ducks. I've
- 2:12:14Speaker 1: got a lot. I got... How many ducks do you have, Kat?
- 2:12:21Speaker 2: Between 19 and 21. I just say that because a
- 2:12:26Speaker 2: couple were there when I first got the place and
- 2:12:30Speaker 2: they never left, right? So they're there, but everybody else
- 2:12:35Speaker 2: we raise from eggs, you know, that you go down to.
- 2:12:38Speaker 1: What's the name of that place? Tractor Supply. Oh, Tractor Supply. Yeah.
- 2:12:44Speaker 1: You go to Tractor Supply and Oh, in the feed
- 2:12:47Speaker 1: and seed shop?
- 2:12:48Speaker 2: Right. You do the incubators.
- 2:12:50Speaker 1: Yeah. So it's beautiful because they're all black. Oh, really? Yeah. Good.
- 2:12:56Speaker 1: We need more of that. We need everybody.
- 2:12:58Speaker 2: Diversity in the duck world.
- 2:13:00Speaker 1: Oh, hell yeah, dog. I'm sick of seeing these fucking swans, bro.
- 2:13:04Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? These rich ass long neck motherfuckers, bro. No,
- 2:13:10Speaker 1: we have geese too. But I'm just saying we need
- 2:13:12Speaker 1: some fucking bangers in there, dog. You know, we need
- 2:13:15Speaker 1: some dark ducks in this bitch. Yeah, yeah. Or some,
- 2:13:19Speaker 1: bring up a couple of black ducks, man. I would
- 2:13:21Speaker 1: love to see those right now. Because I'm used to
- 2:13:23Speaker 1: seeing mallards I've seen for sure. But I've never seen
- 2:13:27Speaker 1: some really good darker ducks. So that's a beautiful one
- 2:13:30Speaker 1: right there.
- 2:13:31Speaker 2: None of these are black ducks.
- 2:13:33Speaker 1: Oh, sorry. Well, get one. But no, get one in
- 2:13:35Speaker 1: the bottom. Okay, yeah, there we go.
- 2:13:37Speaker 2: Oh, that western black duck. That western black. That's an
- 2:13:41Speaker 2: all black duck.
- 2:13:42Speaker 1: Oh, hell yeah. Yeah.
- 2:13:44Speaker 2: But mine are.
- 2:13:45Speaker 1: Oh, that's fucking Mallard Luther King right there, bro. That
- 2:13:49Speaker 1: thing dark as hell, dude. Sorry, bro.
- 2:13:57Speaker 2: You know, make a great black guy.
- 2:13:58Speaker 1: Mallard Luther King. That could be his name. And that
- 2:14:02Speaker 1: is actually a beautiful name for a duck. For that
- 2:14:05Speaker 1: duck specifically. It is.
- 2:14:07Speaker 2: Mallard... Luther the King.
- 2:14:10Speaker 1: Yes. Do you think– some people think that guys like
- 2:14:14Speaker 1: Martin Luther King were compromised by the CIA. Do you
- 2:14:17Speaker 1: ever believe stuff like that?
- 2:14:22Speaker 2: Well, this kind of goes back to– Like.
- 2:14:25Speaker 1: There's a lot of conspiracy theory stuff about that, you know?
- 2:14:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:14:30Speaker 2: Somebody says it's a conspiracy, but that doesn't make it
- 2:14:33Speaker 2: the case. In both of these cases that we've had
- 2:14:37Speaker 2: these conversations, we are talking about the FBI and the CIA.
- 2:14:44Speaker 1: So what do you think they do?
- 2:14:48Speaker 2: So maybe we're unclear about what we think these agencies do.
- 2:14:55Speaker 2: So now the question becomes, hey, do you think they'd
- 2:14:58Speaker 2: be doing their job?
- 2:15:00Speaker 1: I do. I do think they'd be doing their job.
- 2:15:04Speaker 1: You mean all through history? Yes. Yes, I think they
- 2:15:08Speaker 1: keep on doing their job. You think they get everybody?
- 2:15:11Speaker 1: I think they get everybody.
- 2:15:17Speaker 2: So again, not conspiracy theory at all.
- 2:15:24Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 2:15:25Speaker 2: The only way that there could be an FBI file
- 2:15:28Speaker 2: for us to be able to get 30 years after.
- 2:15:32Speaker 1: His death is if there's an FBI file, correct? Right, right, right. Right. Damn, bro.
- 2:15:39Speaker 1: Nobody could trust anybody. That's the scary part to me sometimes.
- 2:15:48Speaker 2: The Bible said, do not put your trust in men.
- 2:15:54Speaker 2: pretty specific why because everybody can be compromised except you
- 2:16:02Speaker 2: yeah if you don't believe in God then it's pretty
- 2:16:06Speaker 2: messed up because now you only got you to believe
- 2:16:09Speaker 2: in but if you got you and God you can
- 2:16:12Speaker 2: believe in both of those you can you can you
- 2:16:17Speaker 2: can have peace then do you.
- 2:16:19Speaker 1: Have you had times in your life where you struggled
- 2:16:21Speaker 1: having God in your life or what's that been like
- 2:16:23Speaker 1: for you No. Do you have a practice that you
- 2:16:28Speaker 1: use kind of to like, like one of my goals
- 2:16:32Speaker 1: this year is to have more God in my life, right?
- 2:16:35Speaker 1: So for me, I'm just using like more times where
- 2:16:37Speaker 1: I stop and pray. Like even sometimes moments my head
- 2:16:39Speaker 1: will pop in, like you should hit your knees right
- 2:16:41Speaker 1: now and pray. And sometimes I just don't do those.
- 2:16:43Speaker 1: I just go and keep doing it about my day.
- 2:16:45Speaker 1: But now when those hit me, I'm trying to just
- 2:16:46Speaker 1: make sure I do that, you know, just like because
- 2:16:49Speaker 1: it's like an intuition that I have, you know, just
- 2:16:51Speaker 1: because I want to have a stronger practice.
- 2:16:53Speaker 2: And understand it's, it's the reason that it's special is because.
- 2:17:04Speaker 1: Only you're going to know.
- 2:17:07Speaker 2: That it's working, right? There's going to be no evidence
- 2:17:12Speaker 2: other than the evidence, but you're going to know that.
- 2:17:20Speaker 1: Like I, I.
- 2:17:23Speaker 2: Talk to God five and six times a day. He
- 2:17:28Speaker 2: has an accurate account of how I'm feeling about everything,
- 2:17:33Speaker 2: how I think things are going, what I feel like
- 2:17:36Speaker 2: I'm doing good at, what I feel like I.
- 2:17:39Speaker 1: Need help with.
- 2:17:41Speaker 2: These are our conversations. So I don't wonder why stuff
- 2:17:49Speaker 2: gets moved. out of my way because I asked for
- 2:17:53Speaker 2: things to be moved out of my way like you
- 2:17:57Speaker 2: asked earlier like aren't you scared like I'm not allowed
- 2:18:02Speaker 2: to be scared because I'm not counting on me like
- 2:18:07Speaker 2: um You can't fuck me up because you're not allowed
- 2:18:12Speaker 2: to fuck me up. And I've been in enough situations
- 2:18:18Speaker 2: to know that he ain't let me down yet. Like
- 2:18:23Speaker 2: every time I needed his safety, it was there.
- 2:18:27Speaker 1: Yeah. And will be.
- 2:18:29Speaker 2: And the more times you communicate, the better the relationship is.
- 2:18:35Speaker 2: And then you'll find that that works. With the black
- 2:18:39Speaker 2: girl from the airport too. Like, communication is key.
- 2:18:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:18:52Speaker 1: Oh, Lord, man. Literally, huh?
- 2:18:59Speaker 2: You're perfect when you don't even try.
- 2:19:01Speaker 1: Yeah. I've heard you say that you feel like we're
- 2:19:07Speaker 1: about to enter like a golden era. What do you
- 2:19:13Speaker 1: mean kind of by that? Or what feelings do you
- 2:19:17Speaker 1: have about that? And what can we look forward to?
- 2:19:21Speaker 2: I was just trying to be super positive at the time.
- 2:19:36Speaker 2: I wasn't trying to be actually accurate with the question.
- 2:19:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:19:41Speaker 2: The question was asked, I think, almost on New Year's
- 2:19:45Speaker 2: or something like that, or Christmas, something like that. It
- 2:19:48Speaker 2: was pretty close to the top of the year, so
- 2:19:52Speaker 2: I didn't want to say anything that would make anybody
- 2:19:59Speaker 2: uncomfortable or awkward. But.
- 2:20:06Speaker 2: The Bible has a book called Revelations, right? And it
- 2:20:11Speaker 2: gives you this little metaphorical rundown of how things should go.
- 2:20:21Speaker 1: Bring it up real quick, Revelations. We can get a
- 2:20:24Speaker 1: look at it. Here we go. Book of Revelation or
- 2:20:40Speaker 1: Book of the Apocalypse, the final book of the New Testament. Correct.
- 2:20:49Speaker 2: So now, it talks about the things that will happen
- 2:20:56Speaker 2: in what's called the last days, right?
- 2:21:02Speaker 1: Before.
- 2:21:03Speaker 2: the second coming of Jesus, right? Because my whole life
- 2:21:07Speaker 2: I was just trying to figure out, like, whatever it
- 2:21:13Speaker 2: would take for Jesus to come back, why aren't all
- 2:21:18Speaker 2: of the people around the world that love Jesus, why
- 2:21:22Speaker 2: aren't they making sure that happens?
- 2:21:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:21:25Speaker 1: So he would come back. Yeah. Yeah, like Santa didn't
- 2:21:29Speaker 1: leave milk and cookies. You know what I'm saying? You
- 2:21:31Speaker 1: think we would fucking... Leave out a couple of freaking...
- 2:21:35Speaker 1: We're willing to go buy the presents ourselves and say
- 2:21:38Speaker 1: you delivered them. Put some sacred snacks out for them
- 2:21:41Speaker 1: or something. Right.
- 2:21:43Speaker 2: So, you know, it just tells a story of the
- 2:21:48Speaker 2: little key things that will happen that you can look
- 2:21:54Speaker 2: forward to before things get there, right? And so it
- 2:21:59Speaker 2: talks about things like.
- 2:22:03Speaker 2: All of the nations will have to come together and
- 2:22:10Speaker 2: make a group called the United Nations, you know. And
- 2:22:15Speaker 2: this was written way back then, and we have a
- 2:22:17Speaker 2: United Nations now. And it talks about there being wars
- 2:22:22Speaker 2: and reports of wars in multiple places, and it gives
- 2:22:28Speaker 2: us– gives us a little guideline just to, you know,
- 2:22:33Speaker 2: what may be happening in the future.
- 2:22:37Speaker 1: Like whenever Jesus comes back, where do you think it'll
- 2:22:43Speaker 1: be at?
- 2:22:54Speaker 2: Well, The Bible is generally pretty specific about places, generally. So,
- 2:23:03Speaker 2: like it talks about.
- 2:23:06Speaker 1: Armageddon, right?
- 2:23:08Speaker 2: And there's this actual valley of Armageddon. I'm going to
- 2:23:15Speaker 2: mispronounce it, but Armageddon. But the valley of Armageddon. That's
- 2:23:21Speaker 2: supposed to take place. There's this valley that is named after,
- 2:23:25Speaker 2: which really exists.
- 2:23:27Speaker 1: But wherever it is, he's.
- 2:23:30Speaker 2: Going to bring it up. But there's probably a war
- 2:23:35Speaker 2: there now.
- 2:23:37Speaker 1: Right. Right.
- 2:23:38Speaker 2: So here we are.
- 2:23:42Speaker 1: The Valley of Megiddo, also known as Jezreel Valley, is
- 2:23:45Speaker 1: a large fertile plain in northern Israel. It's known for
- 2:23:48Speaker 1: its historical, theological, and geographical significance. Oh, wow. And there's
- 2:23:53Speaker 1: a lot of war going on right there, right now.
- 2:23:55Speaker 2: Correct.
- 2:23:58Speaker 1: So, TBD, huh? What are some of the other animals
- 2:24:05Speaker 1: that you have there? I have heard that you have
- 2:24:07Speaker 1: horses over there. Is that a true cut, that you
- 2:24:10Speaker 1: have some horses over there? I want some.
- 2:24:13Speaker 2: The donkeys are the stars over there. But yeah, we
- 2:24:16Speaker 2: got a lot of, yeah, we have cows, many cows.
- 2:24:22Speaker 2: Those are the best kind. Many cows and pot-bellied pigs.
- 2:24:26Speaker 1: How big are they?
- 2:24:26Speaker 2: Probably about the right there.
- 2:24:29Speaker 1: A mini cow? Yeah. Bring up a mini cow real quick.
- 2:24:32Speaker 1: I want to see one of them. They're beautiful, too.
- 2:24:34Speaker 1: My sister has a picture of a couple of them
- 2:24:36Speaker 1: at her house. Beautiful.
- 2:24:38Speaker 2: Yeah, if we can find a white one, that'll be
- 2:24:41Speaker 2: like cash.
- 2:24:43Speaker 1: If you that's your name, Cash. Oh, that's cool. Wow.
- 2:24:48Speaker 1: And are those milkable?
- 2:24:51Speaker 2: He's a boy, so I don't know.
- 2:24:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not it. Right. Oh, look at that.
- 2:24:59Speaker 2: So, you know, the blessing he doesn't he has no
- 2:25:04Speaker 2: idea he's many.
- 2:25:06Speaker 1: Oh, I see.
- 2:25:07Speaker 2: Yeah, ours is bigger than that, but yeah.
- 2:25:11Speaker 1: A beautiful little one right there.
- 2:25:13Speaker 2: Yeah, they're really fun.
- 2:25:16Speaker 1: And do you name, so that one's named Cash, and
- 2:25:18Speaker 1: what other name do you have for these animals?
- 2:25:20Speaker 2: Well, all the animals, all the animals have names, except
- 2:25:32Speaker 2: animals that might be delicious, like Like, goat is, like,
- 2:25:39Speaker 2: my favorite meat, I think. And so we have quite
- 2:25:45Speaker 2: a few, you know.
- 2:25:46Speaker 1: And are you eating goat? Not Billy.
- 2:25:48Speaker 2: He's the king of all the goats.
- 2:25:51Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 2:25:51Speaker 1: But you're having a little bit of goat. How much
- 2:25:53Speaker 1: goat are you having monthly, you think?
- 2:25:59Speaker 2: Weekly.
- 2:26:00Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Yeah, okay. Okay. So Cat got him a
- 2:26:03Speaker 1: little bit of money if he having that weekly goat meal.
- 2:26:07Speaker 1: You know that, boy?
- 2:26:08Speaker 2: I'm accountable, you know.
- 2:26:10Speaker 1: Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Goat eat goat. Hey, man, goats
- 2:26:12Speaker 1: eat goat. Right. I love that. He's making a little money. Sorry.
- 2:26:24Speaker 1: I think sometimes I was just so nervous about who
- 2:26:27Speaker 1: you are because you seem like such a, like, you
- 2:26:30Speaker 1: almost seem like something that came down off of Mount
- 2:26:32Speaker 1: Rushmore to spend time with us today. So I think
- 2:26:34Speaker 1: that's like the mystique about you. So I think sometimes
- 2:26:38Speaker 1: I don't know when it's like okay to joke around
- 2:26:40Speaker 1: and stuff, you know. So you just try and figure
- 2:26:41Speaker 1: it out as you go, you know.
- 2:26:44Speaker 2: I hope that that is not correct and you're just
- 2:26:46Speaker 2: saying that because it is always okay to joke around me.
- 2:26:52Speaker 1: No, I appreciate that. I definitely feel that for sure
- 2:26:55Speaker 1: more than other interviews. I'm trying to think of what
- 2:27:01Speaker 1: else I want to ask you about. This is the
- 2:27:05Speaker 1: best picture I ever got about it. Someone sent this
- 2:27:09Speaker 1: and they said, this is... Cat Williams talking to Cam Newton,
- 2:27:15Speaker 1: somebody said. Right. And that's what I'm thinking, man. Yeah,
- 2:27:23Speaker 1: because here's the thing. Here's the thing. Um.
- 2:27:28Speaker 3: Everything.
- 2:27:29Speaker 2: Yeah, we know that stupid picture of me.
- 2:27:31Speaker 1: Thanks. Appreciate it. Yeah. Oh, I didn't even see that.
- 2:27:34Speaker 1: Can we take that down? That's unbelievable. Very racist.
- 2:27:37Speaker 2: You see how I became racist? to me no but
- 2:27:41Speaker 2: here's the facts the facts are you know everything we
- 2:27:44Speaker 2: know about history we know um because of artifacts things
- 2:27:50Speaker 2: that were left behind you know what i mean and
- 2:27:54Speaker 2: so to be um heavily into the culture in a
- 2:28:01Speaker 2: way that is represented is um pretty cool it's a
- 2:28:06Speaker 2: pretty big deal you know.
- 2:28:08Speaker 1: Yeah yeah we should make one next year if we
- 2:28:11Speaker 1: made one and we did made some made a charity
- 2:28:13Speaker 1: for it or something that could be cool.
- 2:28:18Speaker 2: Right but we would have to do you one too So, like,
- 2:28:23Speaker 2: there would have to be a Theo Vaughn as well.
- 2:28:26Speaker 1: I mean, I would be happy to do that. Yours
- 2:28:27Speaker 1: is really the... Yours is the one they're already using
- 2:28:31Speaker 1: without your permission. That's what I'm saying.
- 2:28:33Speaker 2: They are already doing mine.
- 2:28:34Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. But maybe we'll try to find one.
- 2:28:38Speaker 1: That'd be kind of a neat... Maybe we could do
- 2:28:40Speaker 1: something where we'd raise some money for something. I would
- 2:28:42Speaker 1: love it. You would? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:28:44Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 2:28:44Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah, I'm all about that. That's cool. We should
- 2:28:48Speaker 1: do it for....
- 2:28:51Speaker 2: Yeah, we should do it for autism. We should do
- 2:28:58Speaker 2: it for people on the spectrum.
- 2:28:59Speaker 1: Okay. And everybody has autism. They have all types of
- 2:29:04Speaker 1: people with autism, yeah? Right. Yeah, I would love to
- 2:29:07Speaker 1: do that. That's a cool idea. And do you, my
- 2:29:10Speaker 1: last question for you, Cat, do you know any Native
- 2:29:12Speaker 1: Americans you ever met any over the years? What's that
- 2:29:14Speaker 1: been like?
- 2:29:15Speaker 2: Really cool. Like way more.
- 2:29:24Speaker 2: I'm trying to figure out how to say it.
- 2:29:26Speaker 1: Because I've just heard, some of these are just things
- 2:29:28Speaker 1: that I've heard.
- 2:29:29Speaker 2: When you, I've met this tribe that several times I've
- 2:29:37Speaker 2: met several tribes, but the whole thing is you get
- 2:29:43Speaker 2: this thing around them that you understand that they've been
- 2:29:51Speaker 2: standing here. You know what I mean?
- 2:29:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:29:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you understand how difficult it is to carry legacies
- 2:30:04Speaker 2: and stories, even though your people have been getting destroyed.
- 2:30:09Speaker 2: And then when it's all at as bad as it
- 2:30:12Speaker 2: could possibly be and everything is, destroyed of your whole legacy,
- 2:30:17Speaker 2: then they give you unlimited money and have casinos. It's
- 2:30:28Speaker 2: a mind-blowing thing to watch a people, a group of
- 2:30:32Speaker 2: people still carry their legacy along. And that's what you get.
- 2:30:39Speaker 2: And they know so much about so much. You know
- 2:30:43Speaker 2: what I mean?
- 2:30:44Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 2:30:44Speaker 2: Like, and I'm an outdoor guy, like, and they know
- 2:30:49Speaker 2: everything about everything. Like, fishing with them is, like, a
- 2:30:54Speaker 2: whole different experience.
- 2:30:55Speaker 1: They're whistling them bitches in the boat. Like, they don't
- 2:30:57Speaker 1: make no mistakes.
- 2:30:59Speaker 2: Like, that whole part where you don't catch fish, they
- 2:31:02Speaker 2: don't know shit about that.
- 2:31:06Speaker 1: Yeah, they catching bitches, and half of them cooked. They
- 2:31:09Speaker 1: catching bitches. They do it right. Yeah.
- 2:31:13Speaker 3: I want you to come out of the water boneless. Blaze.
- 2:31:24Speaker 1: With outdoor stuff, have you ever done any camping or
- 2:31:27Speaker 1: anything like that? You ever done any long camps? Did
- 2:31:30Speaker 1: you ever do a plant medicine retreat or anything like that?
- 2:31:35Speaker 2: No, but having a 100-acre ranch, you start getting into
- 2:31:41Speaker 2: trying to make sure you Because first you have to
- 2:31:45Speaker 2: figure out what you already have there. You know what
- 2:31:48Speaker 2: I mean? Because I'm kind of, aren't you like close
- 2:31:51Speaker 2: to Nashville?
- 2:31:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:31:53Speaker 2: Right. So I'm out in Mississippi on this farm, you see.
- 2:31:58Speaker 2: And so, you know, you're learning what's out there. And
- 2:32:02Speaker 2: then you're trying to accentuate what's already out there. Because
- 2:32:07Speaker 2: I think we probably got like 300 deer there.
- 2:32:15Speaker 1: Wow. And they just running around everywhere?
- 2:32:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:32:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:32:23Speaker 2: Because the way progress worked, they kept getting pinned in.
- 2:32:29Speaker 2: And then there was a golf course. And so they
- 2:32:33Speaker 2: had a little safe area in between them. And then
- 2:32:38Speaker 2: when houses start going in, then it became neighborhood and
- 2:32:44Speaker 2: gated community. And now there's nowhere else for them to be.
- 2:32:48Speaker 2: And this particular area is where they all came to.
- 2:32:53Speaker 2: So pretty wonderful.
- 2:32:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I could see you having like a cool petting
- 2:32:58Speaker 1: zoo or something one day if you wanted to and
- 2:33:00Speaker 1: you ever quit or just wanted to have a peaceful
- 2:33:04Speaker 1: animal type of, or a safari, something like that.
- 2:33:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:33:11Speaker 1: Cats, cats.
- 2:33:12Speaker 2: I'm never trying to do something that requires interaction. Like
- 2:33:17Speaker 2: what I'm doing is creating heaven on earth.
- 2:33:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Right?
- 2:33:23Speaker 2: So that means finding out all of the things that
- 2:33:26Speaker 2: really make you jump for joy and excited and make
- 2:33:31Speaker 2: you go, oh, and collecting those around yourself. So that
- 2:33:38Speaker 2: no matter what it is you have to deal with
- 2:33:41Speaker 2: in the world, you can come back to this little
- 2:33:46Speaker 2: heavenly environment that you have created.
- 2:33:49Speaker 4: That's it.
- 2:33:52Speaker 2: That fuels you. Yeah.
- 2:33:55Speaker 1: That's the tool right there. Yeah. Heaven on earth.
- 2:33:58Speaker 2: As it turns out.
- 2:33:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Catman, thank you so much for spending time
- 2:34:02Speaker 1: with me today, man. I appreciate it. Yeah. Thanks for just...
- 2:34:08Speaker 1: So many things, so many quotable moments from your life
- 2:34:10Speaker 1: that you've shared with us. And yeah, it's an honor, bro.
- 2:34:14Speaker 1: I really feel honored to be in your presence today.
- 2:34:17Speaker 1: And just, yeah, I can't even believe it. So thank
- 2:34:20Speaker 1: you so much. Likewise.
- 2:34:29Speaker 2: Cornerstone oh but when i reach that ground i'll share
- 2:34:36Speaker 2: this piece of mind i found i can feel it
- 2:34:40Speaker 1: In my bones
