- 1:47Speaker 3: So there's a lot of like love stuff, romance stuff
- 1:50Speaker 3: that's popping up all over the place in the air.
- 1:53Speaker 3: But I gotta say, like I agree with the idea
- 1:57Speaker 3: of this, and I could say this at this point
- 2:00Speaker 3: in my life, that there are things out there better
- 2:04Speaker 3: than sex. If you would have told a twenty three
- 2:06Speaker 3: year old me, I would have said, I don't know
- 2:09Speaker 3: about that.
- 2:09Speaker 2: So you talk about the love of your children, then.
- 2:12Speaker 3: No, that's funny getting no. But like, you know, can
- 2:20Speaker 3: you imagine a situation as a younger person where you
- 2:23Speaker 3: would have like taken a rain check on sex, never
- 2:27Speaker 3: for something else.
- 2:28Speaker 6: Yeah, for money, Yeah, I think money's better than sex.
- 2:32Speaker 3: I'm saying, like, well it's harder for checks. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:36Speaker 3: Fellas I'm saying, like as a younger man, Like, I
- 2:40Speaker 3: don't know if there would have been because like I
- 2:42Speaker 3: remember times when I'm dating somebody and I had I
- 2:47Speaker 3: had this job where I was waking up like in
- 2:49Speaker 3: the middle of the night to go to work. I'd
- 2:51Speaker 3: still be at their house at like ten or eleven
- 2:53Speaker 3: o'clock at night, hanging out, knowing that there was going
- 2:58Speaker 3: to be sex at some point in the night. So
- 2:59Speaker 3: it's like, eh, I'll.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Hang in tomorrow.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Now it would have been like eight o'clock, Yo, gotta go, Yeah,
- 3:06Speaker 3: I gotta go.
- 3:07Speaker 4: See.
- 3:08Speaker 2: But I was I was a younger man. I was.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I wasn't even thirty yet, you know. Yeah that was
- 3:11Speaker 3: that was just a different time. So I get it.
- 3:15Speaker 3: But these are some things and ladies, and this is
- 3:16Speaker 3: where you can agree or disagree. Women were asked, uh,
- 3:19Speaker 3: what's something that feels better than sex? Right, and so Gina,
- 3:24Speaker 3: you just got the uh, you just got a massage, right,
- 3:27Speaker 3: So anything SPA related. These are just some of this.
- 3:30Speaker 3: These are some of the submissions that people that women,
- 3:33Speaker 3: that women offered up things. I get it again, like
- 3:36Speaker 3: maybe you would forego sex four anything spa really?
- 3:41Speaker 4: All right?
- 3:43Speaker 6: Yes?
- 3:43Speaker 3: Uh, it's everything from back massage to hot stone massage,
- 3:47Speaker 3: scout massage, getting in a warm bed on a cold.
- 3:50Speaker 7: Day with the person about.
- 3:53Speaker 3: This person says sleep good sex as a close second.
- 3:58Speaker 8: I'll take yeah, depending yeah uh laughter.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Here's another one says a good nap because sex is
- 4:08Speaker 3: mostly overrated. Disagree silence because I'm always over stimulated.
- 4:16Speaker 7: I mean I could see that for some people.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I just can't eat them.
- 4:20Speaker 3: My social battery is drained. We just saw something that
- 4:22Speaker 3: said there's a sort of a surge in solo dining.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, we just saw a report on that which
- 4:28Speaker 3: myself and you know, Sammy and and uh and Gina.
- 4:33Speaker 7: We were all like, hell, yeah, do it anyway and menace.
- 4:36Speaker 3: They hate the idea of sitting there and eating. I'd
- 4:39Speaker 3: rather do so to go. Yeah, why sit there and
- 4:42Speaker 3: do it? But it's the same kind of thing. Silence,
- 4:45Speaker 3: it's like just alone with your own.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Even more silent, just serving.
- 4:52Speaker 6: It's so nice.
- 4:54Speaker 3: This person said again, asking ladies, what is something that
- 4:58Speaker 3: that feels better, is better for you you than sex?
- 5:01Speaker 3: They said, an iced coffee, a bath, a bath uninterrupted,
- 5:06Speaker 3: a day to lay in bed all day by myself.
- 5:08Speaker 7: Out of the road with the ice coffee. That is
- 5:10Speaker 7: so basic.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Yeah bath.
- 5:13Speaker 9: But yeah, say totally, I've seen this in the past
- 5:17Speaker 9: ten years. Really spiked women in coffee. They pretend it's
- 5:20Speaker 9: like the end all and be all of like, but.
- 5:23Speaker 3: I feel like that's coffee people.
- 5:25Speaker 7: Yeah he's right, especially but first coffee.
- 5:29Speaker 3: But I don't think that's exclusive to women.
- 5:33Speaker 7: Women make more of an identity.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it is there it is there who they.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Are blanket and yeah, going back.
- 5:42Speaker 10: To the laughing thing, I may be alone here, but
- 5:46Speaker 10: my husband I do a lot of laughing during sex.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Am I Yeah, what's so funny making jokes?
- 5:54Speaker 4: I'm laughing?
- 5:55Speaker 10: Yeah, it should be hilarious. Like I'll say something stupid
- 5:58Speaker 10: and he'll.
- 6:00Speaker 3: During sex like like, what are you saying during.
- 6:03Speaker 7: Trying to think of an example? Like I'll say something stupid.
- 6:05Speaker 3: He'll be like such as, well, you know, I know,
- 6:08Speaker 3: I don't.
- 6:09Speaker 10: I can tell you what his response would be if
- 6:11Speaker 10: I just say I'm trying to think of an example.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Is it unrelated to sex?
- 6:14Speaker 7: Either that?
- 6:15Speaker 10: Or like something about the sex we're having, and you know,
- 6:18Speaker 10: just like as a joke, and he'll be like, while
- 6:19Speaker 10: we're having sexy be liken.
- 6:21Speaker 7: Get real, You're like be like shut up and it
- 6:24Speaker 7: makes me laugh.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Okay, But like what would something I'm trying about the.
- 6:28Speaker 10: Sex you're having, because it really does happen a lot,
- 6:31Speaker 10: and you know you are not alone.
- 6:34Speaker 7: It's something so ridiculous. You get it. I get it.
- 6:40Speaker 6: I'm trying to think of an example too.
- 6:42Speaker 8: That's why I amost didn't want to speak up, but
- 6:43Speaker 8: I get what she's saying, and yet.
- 6:45Speaker 11: I'm not getting really No, I think like sexy time
- 6:48Speaker 11: is for being hot and sexy.
- 6:50Speaker 10: I did when I was dating, but like for I
- 6:53Speaker 10: don't know, maybe it's different being married or being in
- 6:55Speaker 10: a long term relationship, where like laughing I think is
- 6:57Speaker 10: an essential part of the relationship and and sex is
- 7:00Speaker 10: not excluded, like it's not so precious that we can't
- 7:03Speaker 10: joke during it.
- 7:04Speaker 6: That's great.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Yeah, asking women, what's something that is, uh that feels
- 7:09Speaker 3: better or is just in general better than sex? First,
- 7:11Speaker 3: poop after a long vacation, because a lot of you
- 7:16Speaker 3: chicks are like poosha.
- 7:18Speaker 7: Or when you're in the air for a while, like
- 7:20Speaker 7: you get constipated.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Peeing after I hold it in too long?
- 7:24Speaker 6: That does go.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I mean that's good for anybody going to bed knowing
- 7:29Speaker 3: there's no work the next day. My hands up for
- 7:35Speaker 3: that one.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Or you just wake up and you think you have
- 7:39Speaker 2: to go to work and don't wait a minute.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Saturday, this woman said, cleaning my ears with the Q tips.
- 7:46Speaker 2: No, I shouldn't do that.
- 7:47Speaker 3: And then here you go, menace, a crunch trap supreme.
- 7:50Speaker 3: No explanation needed.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Well, yes, trap.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Crunt trap or sex.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Oh, I mean in the morning and breakfast crunch trap.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Oh my god, so good.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Sausage. See now, maybe if Andy did that, Oh yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 3: I like that. If this, if this was Andy, Oh yeah,
- 8:12Speaker 3: I like that. All right, eight seven seven forty four
- 8:18Speaker 3: wood text over to two two nine eight seven. Yeah,
- 8:21Speaker 3: what's something that you'll take a rain check on? Sex four?
- 8:25Speaker 3: Give us your answers on the text over to two
- 8:27Speaker 3: to nine eighty seven. We'll be right back, right back.
- 8:33Speaker 3: What's up, podcast listeners? It's menace.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Do you remember when I walked forty miles in one
- 8:39Speaker 2: day and you watched it live on the internet. I
- 8:42Speaker 2: did that with mint Mobile. Yeah, every single phone that
- 8:45Speaker 2: was streaming that day, I was using the mint Mobile network.
- 8:49Speaker 2: And the reason I did that is because I paid
- 8:51Speaker 2: for every phone myself and I needed a reliable network.
- 8:54Speaker 2: But also I didn't want to break the bank. You know,
- 8:57Speaker 2: you can get unlimited for fifteen bus month. Look at
- 9:01Speaker 2: your phone bill right now, and I'm sure maybe you
- 9:04Speaker 2: might be paying for somebody else as well, and you
- 9:06Speaker 2: might think, oh, it's just too hard to switch.
- 9:08Speaker 3: No it's not.
- 9:08Speaker 2: You can easily do it online. They'll show you how
- 9:10Speaker 2: to do it. Why pay all that money? Check out
- 9:13Speaker 2: how much you can save at this special website mintmobile
- 9:16Speaker 2: dot com slash Woody. That's mintmobile dot com slash woody.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Just compare what you'll get for what you're paying now
- 9:25Speaker 2: mint mobile dot com slash Woody.
- 9:29Speaker 12: Oh you want to play psycho?
- 9:30Speaker 3: Okay?
- 9:30Speaker 9: Can I be the helpless victim?
- 9:33Speaker 13: No?
- 9:33Speaker 6: Please don't kill me, mister ghost face. I want to
- 9:35Speaker 6: be the sequel.
- 9:40Speaker 3: This is the Woodie Show, all right? We got the
- 9:46Speaker 3: birthday's part of birthday coming.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Up here in just a few minutes.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Some things out of the World of Entertainments tell a
- 9:52Speaker 3: lot of people talking about Brad from three doors down
- 9:56Speaker 3: passingwhere over the we are a sad Yeah, somebody said,
- 10:01Speaker 3: where the hell did it go?
- 10:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:03Speaker 3: When you hear stories like people like Brad Arnold, who
- 10:05Speaker 3: people say was a really great person passing away, it
- 10:07Speaker 3: makes me wonder why people who are a mess like
- 10:10Speaker 3: me are being spared.
- 10:13Speaker 9: My question is like, for obviously I get how you
- 10:16Speaker 9: test for prostate cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, et cetera.
- 10:19Speaker 3: But for like the stuff that's stomach kidney, was his
- 10:24Speaker 3: kidney or liver something something like that?
- 10:26Speaker 4: Right?
- 10:27Speaker 2: Can I just go in? I would like to be
- 10:28Speaker 2: able to go in like once every other year, and.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Oh you could do like the full body m ris right,
- 10:36Speaker 3: you know, and those those will show anything and everything
- 10:38Speaker 3: that's going on.
- 10:41Speaker 4: In general, it's just blood work.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Right otherwise pretty much otherwise it's blood work, And then
- 10:45Speaker 3: there's some other things that you could do that uh
- 10:48Speaker 3: that that shows of any kind of like cancer is
- 10:51Speaker 3: showing up.
- 10:52Speaker 4: Really.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Yeah. They just mentioned that Super Bowl commercial, right, the
- 10:58Speaker 3: hymns and hurt not the yeah, the hymns and hers, right,
- 11:01Speaker 3: like like a screen kind of thing.
- 11:02Speaker 7: Yeah, he had stage four kidney cancer.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Kidney cancer. That's how are you gonna you're walking around
- 11:07Speaker 2: one day?
- 11:07Speaker 4: So like.
- 11:10Speaker 3: That sucks. Or like I knew somebody else who just
- 11:12Speaker 3: got diagnosed, like all of a sudden there was like
- 11:16Speaker 3: blood in their pea. Oh and it was it was
- 11:19Speaker 3: kidney your liver. Oh my god, God, I was get confused.
- 11:23Speaker 3: But I know, like Brad from Thrie doers down, like
- 11:24Speaker 3: he he had a bad problem with alcohol and then
- 11:27Speaker 3: he really yeah yeah yeah, so he ended up, uh
- 11:31Speaker 3: you know, getting getting clean from that. There was another
- 11:35Speaker 3: death in the world of rock and alternative over the
- 11:37Speaker 3: weekend too, Greg Brown. Greg Brown from Cake right the
- 11:40Speaker 3: founding guitarist of Cake after a brief illness. Now I
- 11:44Speaker 3: didn't see exactly what that was, but he was an
- 11:46Speaker 3: important part of Cake's early sound and development. He wrote
- 11:49Speaker 3: which is by far their biggest hit, the Distance, reluctantly.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Ground at the starting line.
- 11:55Speaker 8: Uh.
- 11:56Speaker 3: He left the band after their third album, but Greg
- 11:58Speaker 3: Brown was fifty six years old. Yeah, that that blows.
- 12:02Speaker 3: D Snyder is out. Twisted Sisters fiftieth anniversary tour is
- 12:06Speaker 3: off because D Snyder's.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Hanging it up.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Due to health issues. He's seventy years old. No word
- 12:14Speaker 3: the band's going to continue without him, but the band
- 12:15Speaker 3: says quote unbeknownst to the public until now, D suffers
- 12:19Speaker 3: from degenerative arthritis, and he's had several surgeries over the
- 12:23Speaker 3: years just to keep going, able to only perform a
- 12:26Speaker 3: few songs at a time in pain. He also recently
- 12:29Speaker 3: found out that the level of intensity he has dedicated
- 12:31Speaker 3: his life's work to has taking its toll on his
- 12:33Speaker 3: heart as well. He can no longer push the boundaries
- 12:36Speaker 3: of rock and roll fury like he's done for decades.
- 12:39Speaker 3: So it's yea at some point. But D Snyder added
- 12:41Speaker 3: a statement of his own, saying, I don't know of
- 12:43Speaker 3: any other way to rock. The idea of slowing down
- 12:46Speaker 3: is unacceptable to me. Yes, I'd rather walk away than
- 12:51Speaker 3: be a shadow of my former self, but I understand
- 12:54Speaker 3: that I respect it. But D Snider, you know what.
- 12:57Speaker 3: D Snyder's another good guy. Yeah, he's nice.
- 13:00Speaker 9: Radio for a long time, right, Yeah, he would like
- 13:02Speaker 9: I can roll like yeah, weekend shows, he's radio station.
- 13:06Speaker 3: He was really cool. Yeah, it was another slow weekend,
- 13:09Speaker 3: you know, super Bowl this past weekend. But the number
- 13:12Speaker 3: one movie is that horror film Send Help. Oh I
- 13:16Speaker 3: want to see number one with ten million dollars. It's
- 13:20Speaker 3: just a good show, like yeah, nothing, Yeah. And then
- 13:23Speaker 3: Kevin James has a new has a new movie out.
- 13:27Speaker 3: I I don't heard anything about this. Solo meo, so
- 13:31Speaker 3: leme sole meo. Yeah, and then Iron Lung got bumped
- 13:36Speaker 3: down to third.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Solo meo.
- 13:38Speaker 9: He was Kevin Changes at the super Bowl doing a
- 13:40Speaker 9: you know, gorilla marketing for that. He was pretending to
- 13:43Speaker 9: be that he was ditched at the super Bowl, which is.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Oh so the super Bowl. If that made if I'm saying,
- 13:49Speaker 3: if Sam Raimi's send help, but that made ten million
- 13:51Speaker 3: to be number one? What the hell did solo meo
- 13:54Speaker 3: make Number number five this is one that I didn't
- 13:57Speaker 3: realize we had such a big fan of this on
- 13:59Speaker 3: our hands. Number five was Dracula. Who uh Menji?
- 14:05Speaker 10: Oh yeah yeah?
- 14:09Speaker 3: And that Yeah. I think he's seen it multiple times
- 14:14Speaker 3: about he saw the frank and star was it Frankenstein?
- 14:17Speaker 1: Frankenstein's what I saw?
- 14:19Speaker 13: Yet?
- 14:19Speaker 3: Oh Frankenstein.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Right to be confused because it's all the same.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Are you like a are you in the Dracula thing?
- 14:28Speaker 6: Oh?
- 14:29Speaker 1: Not not as much, but you know, I wouldn't say
- 14:31Speaker 1: no to it.
- 14:33Speaker 7: One that like three times?
- 14:34Speaker 3: How many times did you see Frankenstein?
- 14:37Speaker 5: I saw it twice in the theaters and I don't know,
- 14:40Speaker 5: maybe five times on Netflix.
- 14:42Speaker 9: Okay, not to be funny, but do you have a condition?
- 14:49Speaker 4: What do you mean a.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Condition of what? Being a fan of Deltro?
- 14:54Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, I guess that's a condition.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Are you looking for like, I don't know, different things
- 15:00Speaker 2: every time we look for it or something.
- 15:03Speaker 5: I mean, it's kind of like sometimes you just find
- 15:06Speaker 5: something that's like a comfort content and you just gravitate
- 15:09Speaker 5: towards it.
- 15:10Speaker 3: So he's also into the He's also into the making
- 15:13Speaker 3: of film, like, he's into movie making and.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Are you Jacob a lord head?
- 15:19Speaker 3: And I haven't.
- 15:19Speaker 1: I have never even heard of the guy until Frankenstein.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Okay show.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Well I was wonder because I was in the studio
- 15:28Speaker 3: one day and I was like, hey, man, you are right,
- 15:30Speaker 3: and Bork goes all Now, man, He's like he's out
- 15:33Speaker 3: of it. Today's wasted. Wow, what's going on? I thought
- 15:35Speaker 3: that was like something heavy going on.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Now.
- 15:36Speaker 3: He was out late on a school night, on a
- 15:39Speaker 3: on a work night seeing uh, you know, Frankenstein for
- 15:43Speaker 3: like the eighteenth time in a movie that went out
- 15:47Speaker 3: for it. Expert, Hey, it's cool to be a fan, right, menace? Yes,
- 15:51Speaker 3: of course he'll be a fan menace.
- 15:52Speaker 2: What you got well, Michael Bay Speaking of filmmakers, he's
- 15:56Speaker 2: actually suing Cadillac and the Cadillac F one team over
- 16:00Speaker 2: a Super Bowl commercial. I don't know if you saw it,
- 16:02Speaker 2: but they debuted their new car and it was a
- 16:05Speaker 2: really cool commercial. But apparently apparently he was supposed to
- 16:11Speaker 2: make that commercial, and he met with Cadillac and they go, okay, cool,
- 16:15Speaker 2: you're hired for the job. He laid out all of
- 16:17Speaker 2: his ideas on how the commercial would go. Even they
- 16:20Speaker 2: take a voiceover from John f. Kennedy, Sammy, what you
- 16:25Speaker 2: could do for your Yeah, yeah, yeah, because it's all
- 16:27Speaker 2: it's basically to.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Be like America's team.
- 16:30Speaker 2: And they used all those ideas and then they said, oh,
- 16:33Speaker 2: never mind, we don't need you. Michael Bay so he's
- 16:36Speaker 2: suing them for one point five million dollars just because Hey,
- 16:40Speaker 2: you took all my ideas and then made the commercial.
- 16:42Speaker 2: So I actually happened. That's I had. That happened to
- 16:45Speaker 2: me about like thirteen years ago. A tech company reached
- 16:48Speaker 2: out to me about working for them, and we met
- 16:53Speaker 2: and I gave them like my ideas, and then I
- 16:55Speaker 2: didn't get hired, and then I saw all my ideas
- 16:57Speaker 2: being used.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Really did you? Did you see them? I didn't sue them. No,
- 17:01Speaker 3: that's fine.
- 17:02Speaker 10: Well that's why a lot of times too like production
- 17:04Speaker 10: companies and they don't want any unsolicited scripts because they
- 17:08Speaker 10: don't want to be on the hook for saying that
- 17:09Speaker 10: was mine.
- 17:10Speaker 7: I said that to you.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah, uh, Greg Gorey, what you got.
- 17:13Speaker 4: Well, somebody else who is super bummed about Catherine O'Hara
- 17:17Speaker 4: dying is Michael Keaton. Oh yeah, I would have thought
- 17:19Speaker 4: they met on a movie set. Beetlejuice but he says
- 17:22Speaker 4: he has a hard time remembering when they met, but
- 17:24Speaker 4: he was a big fan of hers long before that
- 17:27Speaker 4: from SCTV, and that he was once in Toronto during
- 17:31Speaker 4: the summertime and she was there with all her siblings.
- 17:33Speaker 4: He was there with all his siblings and they were
- 17:35Speaker 4: all shooting pool and some bar together. That's where he
- 17:38Speaker 4: initially met her. And fun fact, Catherine was one of
- 17:41Speaker 4: seven kids. Michael Keaton is one of seven kids, so
- 17:44Speaker 4: you always Catholic. Maybe Michael Keaton's one.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Of those guys.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I think it'd be really cool to meet. And you know,
- 17:50Speaker 3: I don't care about celebrity. There's a Tom Hanks, Michael Keaton, Yeah,
- 17:56Speaker 3: your bass super cool. There's only a small handful of people.
- 17:59Speaker 3: I think it'd be really cool. Yeah, I'm talking about
- 18:02Speaker 3: like sit down, have a beer with Oh yeah. It
- 18:04Speaker 3: seems like a five minute where they you know, prayed
- 18:06Speaker 3: a bunch of people through. Hi. Nice to be up
- 18:09Speaker 3: in some like hotel ballroom somewhere and you know, all
- 18:12Speaker 3: the TV stations and radio stations come through. I'm saying,
- 18:14Speaker 3: like just like a chance encounter where he gets to
- 18:16Speaker 3: really just kind of like as like a person person
- 18:19Speaker 3: the person kind of interaction with something like Michael Keene.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I think it'd be really cool.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Yeah. He called Catherine O'Hara the Goddess. That's how much
- 18:27Speaker 4: he loved her. He said that she has been my
- 18:29Speaker 4: pretend wife, my pretend nemesis, and my real life true friend.
- 18:33Speaker 4: This one hurts, man, I'm gonna miss her.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Gina, grab what you got.
- 18:36Speaker 10: Oh, we've got a Timothy Busfield update. He's been formally
- 18:40Speaker 10: charged in his sex child's sex abuse case. He was
- 18:44Speaker 10: indicted on four counts of criminal sexual contact of a
- 18:47Speaker 10: child by a New Mexican grand jury.
- 18:49Speaker 7: And this is all because of you know.
- 18:50Speaker 10: We talked about the alleged misconduct dating back to his
- 18:53Speaker 10: time when he was directing that TV series The Cleaning Lady.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Did anybody care about this guy before?
- 19:00Speaker 4: Like on my radar?
- 19:01Speaker 7: Vaguely?
- 19:02Speaker 10: If somebody said, do you remember thirty something? I'd be
- 19:04Speaker 10: like that guy, the redheaded guy, Like that's all I remember.
- 19:07Speaker 10: The County DA says, as with all criminal proceedings, mister
- 19:11Speaker 10: Bussfield is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in
- 19:14Speaker 10: a court of la And they also said it's expected
- 19:16Speaker 10: to move forward to a trial and Busfield civil attorney
- 19:19Speaker 10: says that this indictment was quote not expected, so they
- 19:23Speaker 10: better get moving on.
- 19:24Speaker 13: What the.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Timothy, we should hang in there.
- 19:31Speaker 2: You hanging in there be wrong, guys.
- 19:32Speaker 7: Yeah, so we're working on it, Timothy.

- 22:09Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I told you a lot of good stuff
- 22:11Speaker 3: coming up, a lot of fun stuff. We got the
- 22:12Speaker 3: Woody Show meet Up. We're just coming up a week
- 22:15Speaker 3: from this Saturday. Yeah. Yeah, that's on Saturday, February twenty
- 22:18Speaker 3: first at Brewery X and Anaheim. Dogmas Society is gonna
- 22:21Speaker 3: be performing. We're gonna have some exclusive Woody Show gear.
- 22:25Speaker 7: No excited for that.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I'm excited about I'm gonna wait till be a little
- 22:29Speaker 3: bit closer and make sure that the printing's done on
- 22:32Speaker 3: time and everything it will be.
- 22:33Speaker 2: But you know how we're pairing together.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Don't want to jinx it. I don't care why you listen.
- 22:37Speaker 3: If you listening, because you love it. Great as long
- 22:40Speaker 3: as you're listening. This is the Hoody Show, all right,
- 22:43Speaker 3: Welcome back, everybody. It is the Woody Show. It's Tuesday.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Phones open eight seven seven forty four. Woody set us
- 22:52Speaker 3: a text over to two to nine eight seven. Uh,
- 22:56Speaker 3: interested in your feedback. What do you guys think about
- 22:59Speaker 3: the the entertainment segment just in general? Is that something
- 23:03Speaker 3: that you find, uh, you know, interest.
- 23:05Speaker 2: That you.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Interesting? It's it's a tough no. I'm saying it's tough
- 23:12Speaker 3: for me to gauge because I don't care about any
- 23:15Speaker 3: of it personal love. You know, I don't like celebrities.
- 23:18Speaker 3: I don't watch a ton of movies, you know what
- 23:20Speaker 3: I mean. So it's like a lot. Yes, it's just
- 23:22Speaker 3: not my wheelhouse. So as the person who's in charge
- 23:25Speaker 3: of just kind of overseeing and making sure that everything
- 23:27Speaker 3: is on track and that we're doing things that the
- 23:29Speaker 3: listeners like can find interesting, I'm I'm this is the
- 23:32Speaker 3: time that we are asking you. It's a solicited opinion
- 23:36Speaker 3: and there's no wrong answer, like are you in your
- 23:39Speaker 3: entertainment stuff?
- 23:40Speaker 9: It?
- 23:40Speaker 3: I'm just curious.
- 23:41Speaker 2: I throw the way that was phrase is going to
- 23:44Speaker 2: get some negative response?
- 23:45Speaker 3: Okay, well then phrase it how you know? You know
- 23:47Speaker 3: what I'm going for?
- 23:48Speaker 9: Are you interested in the entertainment news we deliver? So
- 23:51Speaker 9: like I think, you know, when Gregon brings it about whatever,
- 23:54Speaker 9: Gina or ments, et cetera, I think they are truly
- 23:56Speaker 9: interested in those things, which is probably a good sign
- 23:59Speaker 9: that the general audience would be interested in those topics.
- 24:01Speaker 9: But when you say just as entertainment reports like that
- 24:04Speaker 9: and I hate celebrities, et cetera, obviously you're poisoning the well.
- 24:07Speaker 3: No, I'm saying, I'm asking the question because like I'm
- 24:09Speaker 3: a bad person to judge this thing because of that.
- 24:13Speaker 3: There's plenty of things that you know, we say, you know,
- 24:15Speaker 3: talk about or whatever. It's not about what I like.
- 24:18Speaker 10: And it's pretty like do you like celebrity stuff? Because
- 24:21Speaker 10: I don't, So I'm not a good judge of if
- 24:23Speaker 10: this is the way to go.
- 24:24Speaker 3: There's also like a difference between a show like this.
- 24:28Speaker 3: It just comes down to expectations. I guess about you know,
- 24:31Speaker 3: you go to certain places for certain things, right, right,
- 24:34Speaker 3: And what's the expectation when you tune into this show?
- 24:37Speaker 3: Is that's something there, right? I mean, I don't know,
- 24:39Speaker 3: I'm throwing it out there. I just want to see
- 24:42Speaker 3: what everybody what everybody says, you can let us know
- 24:45Speaker 3: on the text over to two two ninety seven.
- 24:47Speaker 4: I oddly like the birthdays for.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Yeah, like them all right, like knowing how old Laura,
- 24:54Speaker 3: which is so and you know what's funny we did
- 24:58Speaker 3: that after this is a year ago.
- 25:01Speaker 2: You know.
- 25:01Speaker 3: We we have these meetings, you know, a couple times
- 25:03Speaker 3: a year where there's all this research that's done. And
- 25:06Speaker 3: I mean that that this is this is the unscientific
- 25:09Speaker 3: part that we're we're asking here right now just a
- 25:11Speaker 3: text in or calling about you know, your thoughts on it.
- 25:14Speaker 3: They do these big, in depth research projects and they
- 25:17Speaker 3: tell us kind of like the temperature of the audience
- 25:19Speaker 3: on different things, different people on the show. I mean,
- 25:21Speaker 3: it gets down into everything and there is something about
- 25:25Speaker 3: you know, oh I like it, like what do you
- 25:27Speaker 3: like about this other show? And other shows that are
- 25:31Speaker 3: on the radio, And they said, oh I like it
- 25:33Speaker 3: when they do the birthdays. I go the birthdays like
- 25:37Speaker 3: why again whatever? For me personally couldn't care. But we
- 25:42Speaker 3: started doing it to mock the other shows. And the
- 25:45Speaker 3: only reason we gave the actual celebrity birthday so we
- 25:48Speaker 3: could do the porno birthday. So doing the porno birthday
- 25:50Speaker 3: was to basically make fun of shows doing birthdays. But
- 25:54Speaker 3: we had to give it some kind of context that
- 25:56Speaker 3: we just threw in the celebrities at the same.
- 25:58Speaker 7: Time as a package deal.
- 26:00Speaker 2: And now people like it, and.
- 26:02Speaker 3: It like we've we've given a break to the porno
- 26:06Speaker 3: birthday before people like I really missed the porno birthday.
- 26:08Speaker 7: It's what what a what.
- 26:11Speaker 3: A dumb job, what a dumb industry? Really, I mean
- 26:16Speaker 3: really all the metrics and stuff, like they paid the
- 26:20Speaker 3: research company to dig into celebrity birthdays and should you
- 26:25Speaker 3: talk about it?
- 26:26Speaker 13: Right?
- 26:27Speaker 4: It's so weird.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Yeah, there was a Yeah, there was a big meeting
- 26:32Speaker 3: just a couple of weeks ago and they were agonizing
- 26:34Speaker 3: over how to give something away. And again it was like,
- 26:38Speaker 3: well do we do a keyword thing again or do
- 26:40Speaker 3: we send people here? Like, guys, just it doesn't matter
- 26:44Speaker 3: like we put some we we we put so much importance.
- 26:48Speaker 3: I'm sure every business does it because I remember working
- 26:50Speaker 3: at other places where man, they thought they were doing
- 26:53Speaker 3: the lord's work, like some really like like heavy hard
- 26:56Speaker 3: hitting stuff. My guys, it's a restaurant. We're selling sports
- 27:03Speaker 3: jerseys or you know whatever it is gonna be okay, yeah,
- 27:06Speaker 3: all right, eight seven seven forty four Wooding. You can
- 27:09Speaker 3: hit us up with the text over to two to
- 27:11Speaker 3: nine eight seven. I guess the point here is that
- 27:13Speaker 3: we want to give you what you want.
- 27:14Speaker 7: Yeah, and are we doing that?
- 27:15Speaker 9: And this is a.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Solicited opinion that I'm looking for, So hit us up
- 27:20Speaker 3: either calling in, texting in.
- 27:21Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that's the spot right there.
- 27:25Speaker 4: The Woody Show.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Into another new hour insensitivity training for a politically correct world.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Woodie greg Minis Junior Brade. We got Sea Bass, We've
- 27:39Speaker 3: got Sammy Morgan is here. Phone's open eight seven seven
- 27:43Speaker 3: forty four Wooding. You can also hit us up with
- 27:47Speaker 3: the text check in over to two to nine eight seven.
- 27:49Speaker 3: We check in with Gina Grad's got the trending news headlines.
- 27:53Speaker 10: Well, it's day ten in the search for Nancy Guthrie
- 27:56Speaker 10: and the second ransom note deadline has come and gone.
- 27:59Speaker 10: The kidnappers haven't made any other demands or attempted to
- 28:01Speaker 10: any other communication outside of the notes. So while authorities
- 28:05Speaker 10: are taking the notes seriously, they are beginning to wonder
- 28:07Speaker 10: if the person setting the notes really even has Nancy
- 28:09Speaker 10: at all.
- 28:09Speaker 3: There was a guy he's uh, he's been an investigator
- 28:12Speaker 3: for years, homicide investigator and everything else. He is calling
- 28:15Speaker 3: b s on this entire thing. He's retired now, but
- 28:18Speaker 3: I forget how many cases he said that he has seen.
- 28:21Speaker 3: He's a correspondent for I forget which news network, But anyway,
- 28:24Speaker 3: he was doing an interview. He's like, there's so much
- 28:26Speaker 3: about this that doesn't add up, because like someone knows
- 28:29Speaker 3: exactly where she is, and it's from the people who
- 28:31Speaker 3: were involved. In other words, the Guthrie family in some
- 28:34Speaker 3: way knows where this woman is. Not maybe not Savannah,
- 28:37Speaker 3: uh huh. She's probably being the one extorted. Yeah, you know, yeah,
- 28:40Speaker 3: because she's the one that's got the money. Yeah, she's
- 28:42Speaker 3: got the notoriety. But like between the brother, the fat sister, nobody.
- 28:47Speaker 7: Talking about the hobo son in law, the fat the.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Hobo son in law, Like one of them knows what's
- 28:52Speaker 3: going on, Like why was it Like inside edition was
- 28:54Speaker 3: the one that's like is this blood on the doorstep?
- 28:56Speaker 3: Like that crime scene has been trampled, right, it's such
- 28:59Speaker 3: a mess.
- 29:00Speaker 12: It is.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Well.
- 29:01Speaker 10: Meanwhile, Savannah Gottrie released another video saying the family believes
- 29:04Speaker 10: their mom is still out there, and she pleaded with
- 29:06Speaker 10: the public saying we need your help, and she added,
- 29:09Speaker 10: if anyone sees anything here's anything. If there's anything at
- 29:11Speaker 10: all that seems strange, please report it to law enforcement.
- 29:14Speaker 10: The FBI also asking for the public's help, saying that
- 29:17Speaker 10: someone has that one piece of information that can help us,
- 29:20Speaker 10: Like you said, what they might just not want to tell.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Like whoever was asking for the bitcoin, or whether the
- 29:25Speaker 3: wallet is completely empty, it's been set up, but there's
- 29:28Speaker 3: there's nothing whatever did this knowing Let's say it was
- 29:32Speaker 3: inside job, right, Uh, you wouldn't think this would get
- 29:36Speaker 3: national attention, Like you would get away with this. That'd
- 29:40Speaker 3: be insane.
- 29:40Speaker 7: Right now someone's getting away with or someone would just
- 29:42Speaker 7: like quietly pay, Yeah, exactly.
- 29:44Speaker 3: They also said they've they've messed up because people this
- 29:47Speaker 3: investigator guy, it's kind of interesting because he like, I
- 29:48Speaker 3: love those anybody anybody who really kidnapped somebody wanting ransom
- 29:52Speaker 3: would have made it like a quick deal, yea quicken
- 29:56Speaker 3: like this this whole thing kind of dragging out and
- 29:58Speaker 3: how long it's gone on, like either it it got
- 30:01Speaker 3: completely sideways on them and they don't know what to do,
- 30:04Speaker 3: which she says is very unlikely based on all the
- 30:06Speaker 3: other things that he's seeing, or you know, it's just
- 30:09Speaker 3: it's completely fabricated.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Oh.
- 30:11Speaker 10: The La County Department of Public Health has released the
- 30:14Speaker 10: official cause of death for Catherine O'Hara. According to the
- 30:17Speaker 10: death certificate, she passed away from a pulmonary embolism that's
- 30:20Speaker 10: basically blood clots and the lungs, with rectal cancer as
- 30:23Speaker 10: the underlying cause. According to TMZ, she was seventy one.
- 30:27Speaker 10: She had trouble breathing, which led to a nine to
- 30:29Speaker 10: one to one call. They rushed through the hospital in
- 30:31Speaker 10: serious condition and that's where she passed away. She was
- 30:34Speaker 10: cremated and her ashes were given to her husband and
- 30:38Speaker 10: Glaine Maxwell, you know, the longtime buddy of convicted sex
- 30:41Speaker 10: offender Jeffrey Epstein.
- 30:43Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the one.
- 30:43Speaker 10: Well, she's invoked her Fifth Amendment right and refused to
- 30:47Speaker 10: answer questions during a virtual appearance before the House Oversight
- 30:50Speaker 10: and Government Reform Committee.
- 30:51Speaker 3: I don't know. People say they're just going to come
- 30:53Speaker 3: in and plead the fifth like whife and go through.
- 30:55Speaker 7: The ship, wasting everyone's time.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Like I get it, Like, what's the benefit of her
- 30:59Speaker 3: even saying anything if she's not going to get anything out?
- 31:02Speaker 7: Yeah, well, we do have a clip of how that went,
- 31:03Speaker 7: Miss Maxwell.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Were you a close friend and confidant of Jeffrey Apstein.
- 31:08Speaker 14: I would like to answer your question, but on the
- 31:10Speaker 14: Advice and Council, I respectfully decline to answer this question
- 31:15Speaker 14: if any related questions. My habeas petition is pending in
- 31:19Speaker 14: the Southern District of New York. I therefore invote my
- 31:22Speaker 14: right silence under the Fifth Amendment.
- 31:32Speaker 3: This is not really me talking. I am living outside
- 31:36Speaker 3: of jail.
- 31:36Speaker 10: Well, a lawyer our lawyers said she'd be willing to
- 31:38Speaker 10: cooperate with the panel's probe if President Trump grants her clemency,
- 31:42Speaker 10: and she'd also testify that the president is innocent of
- 31:45Speaker 10: any wrongdoing.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Why why would she get clemency like that? You're involved, Yeah,
- 31:49Speaker 3: you know what I mean, just leave her in prison.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Then fine, go to prison. We'll keep digging, we'll keep
- 31:54Speaker 3: doing these other things. Yeah, they're not going to release anything.
- 31:57Speaker 4: And nobody.
- 31:57Speaker 3: The only person going to jail over this is jis
- 31:59Speaker 3: Layne mac That's the thing.
- 32:00Speaker 10: I mean, you're totally right, but also she is the
- 32:03Speaker 10: one scapegoat they're pinning all of this on, with all
- 32:06Speaker 10: these redacted dudes and all these people involved.
- 32:09Speaker 7: Nobody else is in prison.
- 32:10Speaker 3: For this yet.
- 32:12Speaker 8: How it typically works though, like they do find one
- 32:14Speaker 8: person to just say everything.
- 32:16Speaker 7: Take day down.
- 32:17Speaker 10: Yeah, well, we'll see if that happens. They need to
- 32:20Speaker 10: redact some of those names, don't Dina know. Team USA
- 32:24Speaker 10: didn't win any medals yesterday at the Winter Limics, but
- 32:26Speaker 10: they still had two big victories. The mixed doubles curling
- 32:30Speaker 10: team RIP pulled off a major upset, beating defending gold
- 32:33Speaker 10: medalist Italy nine to eight in the semifinals. I kind
- 32:37Speaker 10: of love watching curling and is so bizarre. The US
- 32:40Speaker 10: women's hockey team also had a strong performance, shutting out
- 32:43Speaker 10: Switzerland five to nothing. They're still in the preliminary round,
- 32:46Speaker 10: but they have a huge game later against Canada that
- 32:49Speaker 10: could be a preview of a gold medal matchup. So
- 32:52Speaker 10: in the overall metal standings, Italy still leads with nine medals,
- 32:56Speaker 10: while the US is in seventh.
- 32:57Speaker 7: Place with two golds so far.
- 33:00Speaker 10: Fresh off a Super Bowl wins, Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator
- 33:03Speaker 10: Clint Kubiak announced that he is taking the head coaching.
- 33:07Speaker 7: Job for the Las Vegas Raiders.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Yeah, what a gig.
- 33:12Speaker 10: The Seahawks are having their championship parade in the city
- 33:15Speaker 10: tomorrow and attempts in Seattle are expected to be in
- 33:17Speaker 10: the upper forties, which is twenty degrees warmer than it
- 33:20Speaker 10: was for the city's last Super Bowl parade. As for DraftKings,
- 33:23Speaker 10: they've moved on. They've already listed the Seahawks and the
- 33:26Speaker 10: Rams as NFL favorites for the next Super Bowl, with
- 33:30Speaker 10: the Buffalo Bills as the favorite in the AFC.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Like, if you're the guy, all right, what's his name?
- 33:36Speaker 3: The Seattle offensive?
- 33:37Speaker 7: Accurate?
- 33:38Speaker 3: Okay, So if you're that dude, Like how desperate are
- 33:41Speaker 3: you to be a head coach? Like you just won
- 33:43Speaker 3: the Super Bowl? I would have waited out until next season,
- 33:46Speaker 3: Like go back for Seattle next year as a chance,
- 33:48Speaker 3: wait un till a somewhat better team has a coaching
- 33:52Speaker 3: position available. You'll be that much. Once you say no,
- 33:54Speaker 3: it's like how anything else works, Like once you say
- 33:56Speaker 3: no once even more like why go to the Raiders?
- 34:00Speaker 3: Raiders sucks so hard? Do you think it's a garbage
- 34:03Speaker 3: garbage organization? Look, they whence the last time they were
- 34:06Speaker 3: able to make it work? And then they go into
- 34:08Speaker 3: like a like a little like flash, like you know
- 34:12Speaker 3: they'll have a flash where all of a sudden they
- 34:13Speaker 3: look somewhat promising, maybe make the playoffs. Then garbage there,
- 34:16Speaker 3: most of them just garbage, Like why would you want that?
- 34:19Speaker 3: Because that's that's gonna affect your ability? You know, it's
- 34:22Speaker 3: gonna affect your reputation.
- 34:24Speaker 7: You turn them around, maybe you have the hope, but
- 34:27Speaker 7: I'm the guy around, Yeah, from the right person.
- 34:37Speaker 3: Unless unless you're like someone who like grew up a
- 34:39Speaker 3: Raider fan and just be an honor to be the
- 34:41Speaker 3: head coach of the team that you grew up rooting for.
- 34:43Speaker 3: But like, man, why would you want to sign up
- 34:45Speaker 3: for that?
- 34:46Speaker 7: It's also a.
- 34:46Speaker 8: Little bit less pressure when you're going in for the
- 34:48Speaker 8: Raiders and you won like five games that season, they're like,
- 34:51Speaker 8: great jobs.
- 34:53Speaker 3: You can't fall off the floor. At least the stadium
- 34:56Speaker 3: will be full of you know, the other teams fans.
- 35:00Speaker 3: It's a nice stadium, yeah, Allegiance a nice place.
- 35:04Speaker 13: Well.
- 35:05Speaker 10: A scene straight out of a heist movie took place
- 35:07Speaker 10: on the highway in Italy.
- 35:08Speaker 7: This is crazy.
- 35:09Speaker 10: A group of armed robbers posed as cops and blocked
- 35:11Speaker 10: off the highway and then they trapped an armored vehicle
- 35:15Speaker 10: in the middle of traffic. Some of them were directing
- 35:17Speaker 10: traffic like they were actual police officers, while the others
- 35:20Speaker 10: blew up the armored truck and exchanged gunfire with the
- 35:24Speaker 10: actual police.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Did you see the video, It's crazy.
- 35:29Speaker 7: Literally looks like a movie.
- 35:30Speaker 10: After that, the robbers led the cops on a chase
- 35:33Speaker 10: before abandoning their car on the side of the road.
- 35:35Speaker 10: Cops got one of the guys trying to get away
- 35:37Speaker 10: on foot and caught another guy right after that. The
- 35:40Speaker 10: robbery was a total failure. They didn't get any money
- 35:43Speaker 10: from the truck, but nobody was hurt. Apparently two of
- 35:46Speaker 10: the robbers still on the run, and a forty seven
- 35:49Speaker 10: year old guy was at McDonald's down in Florida when
- 35:51Speaker 10: he became quote visibly agitated at a group of teenagers.
- 35:55Speaker 7: That he says were staring at him. Oh yeah, He
- 35:58Speaker 7: went over to the team.
- 35:58Speaker 2: You didn't have that.
- 36:00Speaker 10: He started arguing with them, giving him the hairy eyeball,
- 36:03Speaker 10: and then to show he wasn't messing around, he chucked
- 36:05Speaker 10: at doctor Pepper at them and just drenched all the kids.
- 36:09Speaker 10: Then he ran into the parking lot and flopped down
- 36:11Speaker 10: at a bush. So he tried to basically pretend that
- 36:14Speaker 10: the teens had ganged up on him and shoved him
- 36:15Speaker 10: into the bushes. Then he started shouting that they were
- 36:19Speaker 10: punching him while yelling at a bunch of obscenities. Then
- 36:23Speaker 10: got up, dropped his pants, mooned them, and then caressed.
- 36:27Speaker 2: His butt cheeks as you do.
- 36:29Speaker 7: This guy's awesome. Cops finally, because these kids.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Were staring at him, we're maybe staring at him.
- 36:35Speaker 3: What do they call that? Kids? Uh? Mother, that's a
- 36:38Speaker 3: crash out.
- 36:44Speaker 7: Cops finally showed up.
- 36:45Speaker 10: The dude confessed that he started the whole thing and
- 36:47Speaker 10: then made up the part about being assaulted. He was
- 36:49Speaker 10: arrested and charged charged with simple battery and lude and
- 36:53Speaker 10: lascivious exhibition.
- 36:56Speaker 4: I don't even know.
- 36:58Speaker 2: But and doctor Pepper just because he crashed his but cheeks.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Yeah, he doesn't do that.
- 37:02Speaker 7: Likes a soda every now and then. And that's what's
- 37:04Speaker 7: going on with all.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Right, Thank you very much, Gina grad Yeah, and how
- 37:08Speaker 3: a bum? I mean, like Fernando Mendoza had no choice
- 37:12Speaker 3: but to go to the Raiders. He's the number one
- 37:14Speaker 3: draft picks. He's gonna get drafted by the rate they're
- 37:16Speaker 3: gonna take him mandatory. Do you think he wants to
- 37:19Speaker 3: go to the like the koobeaks choosing to go there.
- 37:23Speaker 3: You see what I'm saying.
- 37:23Speaker 10: Do you think they just have like a fort knock style.
- 37:26Speaker 10: They're just like, just take all of our money and
- 37:28Speaker 10: he just couldn't resist.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Well, they are in the hook. They're paying so many
- 37:32Speaker 3: Uh yeah, I mean they're still paying Gruden, you know
- 37:35Speaker 3: what I mean, Like they're still paying all these coaches.
- 37:37Speaker 3: They have them for like a second and then they
- 37:39Speaker 3: bounce them for whatever reason. They don't have a ton
- 37:41Speaker 3: of extra dream job they have plenty of all these
- 37:44Speaker 3: teams have plenty of money. Okay, but again, like why
- 37:47Speaker 3: would you knowingly sign up for that?
- 37:49Speaker 4: Because he's the one dude that can do it.
- 37:52Speaker 7: He's a pretty girl at the dance.
- 37:53Speaker 4: He's going to make it happen.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Yeah, good for him. All right, thank you very much,
- 37:56Speaker 3: Gina grad We got some more. What do you show
- 37:58Speaker 3: for you next? Hang on, I'll be right back. Whaty
- 38:02Speaker 3: whaty whaty what?
- 38:04Speaker 4: A show?
- 38:06Speaker 3: That something pretty interesting. It was about how the concept
- 38:13Speaker 3: of time has changed and the reasons and the reasons why.
- 38:18Speaker 3: All right, you know, like we talked about it, dude,
- 38:20Speaker 3: what happened that whole year was a blur? Yeah right,
- 38:24Speaker 3: Or I'll say, oh that was oh that was a
- 38:27Speaker 3: couple of years ago. No, dude, that was like sixty
- 38:30Speaker 3: do you rise like the COVID lockdown started six years
- 38:33Speaker 3: ago in March, like as of this March, that was
- 38:37Speaker 3: sixty six ago.
- 38:41Speaker 7: Really it just happened.
- 38:42Speaker 3: I would have said six, I said, I was like
- 38:44Speaker 3: a few two or three, yeah, something something like that.
- 38:47Speaker 3: I'm like, damn, man, that's really yeah. My thing is
- 38:52Speaker 3: I think stuff happened a lot longer ago.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Oh really yeah. When I did that walk, like you know,
- 38:59Speaker 2: the forty mile walk thing, I thought that was like
- 39:01Speaker 2: two years ago. It hasn't even been a year.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Or was that that was pretty early in the year
- 39:04Speaker 3: that you did that. No, it was April. That's still
- 39:07Speaker 3: pretty early. Yeah, yeah, I don't know, than a year ago.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Yeah, And I was talking like some listeners, I was like, oh, yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 2: that was like three years ago.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Yeah, no, not not even a year. Yeah, because things
- 39:19Speaker 3: that happened I think at the very beginning of any year,
- 39:22Speaker 3: because then, you know, it feels longer. People usually segment
- 39:25Speaker 3: out like oh this year, last year, the year before
- 39:27Speaker 3: they that they look at it that way. Yeah, And
- 39:30Speaker 3: so if it happened very early, there was everything else
- 39:32Speaker 3: that had it got kind of buried toward the end
- 39:34Speaker 3: of you know what your mind is storing away? Yeah,
- 39:39Speaker 3: because all these other things already already happened, But the
- 39:43Speaker 3: last ten years of your life, it feels like it
- 39:45Speaker 3: just flew by. They say, it's not just because you're
- 39:48Speaker 3: busy or you're stuck in a routine. It's tied to
- 39:50Speaker 3: how your brain changes with age. So earlier theories was
- 39:54Speaker 3: focusing on memory, which Greg doesn't have anymore. No, the
- 39:58Speaker 3: idea that few were first less novelty just make time
- 40:01Speaker 3: feel more compressed. But now the thinking is that it's
- 40:04Speaker 3: cognitive decline. So like, as you age, the brain processes
- 40:08Speaker 3: information just more slowly, and that slower processing speed means
- 40:12Speaker 3: that we just take in fewer mental time markers in
- 40:15Speaker 3: real time. So like when your brain records less detail
- 40:18Speaker 3: per moment, time feels like it's moving faster.
- 40:20Speaker 6: Yeah that makes sense.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Actually, Yeah, it's similarly like a high frame rate video
- 40:25Speaker 3: looks longer and more detailed than a low frame rate one,
- 40:30Speaker 3: Like your younger brain captures more frames.
- 40:32Speaker 7: Yeah, right, because it's new of life. I get that. Yeah,
- 40:37Speaker 7: as we sprint towards that, then I.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Saw this other one. I was talking about how psychologists
- 40:41Speaker 3: say time itself began to feel different after two thousand
- 40:45Speaker 3: and then shift it again after twenty twenty. And it's
- 40:48Speaker 3: not because the world suddenly moved faster, but because the
- 40:51Speaker 3: human brain stopped recording life in the same way. So
- 40:53Speaker 3: kind of the same idea. So before two thousand, life
- 40:56Speaker 3: had a natural rhythm, seasons felt unique, years felt separatechildhood
- 41:00Speaker 3: felt long. For a reason, your brain was truly present.
- 41:03Speaker 3: They talk about people being at shows or at events
- 41:06Speaker 3: and they're like just experiencing it.
- 41:08Speaker 7: What's out right?
- 41:09Speaker 2: They're not video, you know, with the phone and stuff.
- 41:12Speaker 3: After two thousand, you know, something changed, not the clock,
- 41:16Speaker 3: the brain, Internet, email, smartphones, endless scrolling, constant stimulation flattened
- 41:22Speaker 3: our sense of memory. That makes sense, right, So this
- 41:25Speaker 3: is researchers from Stanford and some other So when the
- 41:28Speaker 3: brain is overloaded, it struggles to form deep memories. So
- 41:32Speaker 3: fewer memories make time feel shorter. God right, So your
- 41:36Speaker 3: brain silently concludes that, you know, nothing important happened, so
- 41:39Speaker 3: entire years start to blur together, which is what I've
- 41:42Speaker 3: kind of felt, I would say, since twenty twenty. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:45Speaker 3: since like COVID because yeah, that whole chunk of time,
- 41:48Speaker 3: it's weird. It's like men in black flashy thing, like
- 41:53Speaker 3: was that my My sense of did that happen before
- 41:56Speaker 3: or after COVID is just non existent.
- 41:58Speaker 6: That's the reason.
- 41:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it's weird.
- 42:00Speaker 7: Yeah, I get that.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like when there's a bad you know, and
- 42:04Speaker 3: it used to like defragment your hard drive. Yeah, and
- 42:07Speaker 3: there'll be bad I'm saying, but there'll be Like back
- 42:09Speaker 3: in the day, it used to used to have to
- 42:11Speaker 3: do that more to keep your computer running faster. You know,
- 42:14Speaker 3: you'd optimize the hard drive and you'd see like the
- 42:17Speaker 3: bad segments you know that are just no longer usable
- 42:20Speaker 3: on the hard drive anymore. And so because the more
- 42:22Speaker 3: that you put on a hard drive, right, it's like
- 42:24Speaker 3: stuff the very beginning of it and the very end
- 42:27Speaker 3: of it. If there's stuff in the middle that you've deleted,
- 42:29Speaker 3: it creates like the space. So when the computer would
- 42:31Speaker 3: have to go back and access the older stuff, it
- 42:34Speaker 3: would get caught up in all these kinds. So that's
- 42:36Speaker 3: why you optimize it to take all the data that's
- 42:38Speaker 3: on it and compress it into one space. So instead
- 42:41Speaker 3: having your crap all over the house, you put it
- 42:42Speaker 3: in one room, right, so it's just easier to find
- 42:44Speaker 3: because everything's that one room easier to find faster. That's
- 42:46Speaker 3: why your computer would speed up. Okay, right, So like
- 42:49Speaker 3: that's that I have this big dead space from twenty
- 42:53Speaker 3: twenty six, or from twenty twenty to twenty twenty two,
- 42:57Speaker 3: let's call it where it's like I couldn't tell you
- 42:59Speaker 3: what happened that time. Yeah, as far as like you know,
- 43:02Speaker 3: oh yeah, we went to whatever on vacation in this year,
- 43:04Speaker 3: forget it.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Nah.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:06Speaker 10: And it's crazy too because I think pretty much everyone
- 43:09Speaker 10: here was working, like I was sitting at home. One
- 43:13Speaker 10: day bled into another, like we were still going to work,
- 43:15Speaker 10: and I still couldn't.
- 43:16Speaker 7: Tell you what was going on.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:18Speaker 4: True, nice and empty out, that's all.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Yeah, that was great, loved it.
- 43:26Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 43:27Speaker 3: If you say you feel older, like years older than
- 43:31Speaker 3: you should, you're not imagining that. Like you know, time
- 43:35Speaker 3: slows down when life is full of they say like
- 43:37Speaker 3: that novelty stuff like they were talking about in the
- 43:39Speaker 3: other one, like new places, new faces, yeah, you know,
- 43:43Speaker 3: new challenges. And then after twenty twenty, it was like
- 43:45Speaker 3: less travel, less change, less variation, no novelty, fewer memories.
- 43:49Speaker 2: That's that's true, that's very true.
- 43:50Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 43:50Speaker 4: Yeah, remember when you were a kid and it was
- 43:52Speaker 4: like the first day of summer vacation and it felt
- 43:54Speaker 4: like eight years long. Now, the summer is the blink
- 43:58Speaker 4: of an eye.
- 43:59Speaker 3: Unless you're parent with kids that are home from school,
- 44:03Speaker 3: and then it feels like eternity and the school year
- 44:06Speaker 3: because you're so busy and there's things going on, kids, activities,
- 44:09Speaker 3: things like the treadmill of life. That stuff seems to
- 44:12Speaker 3: go by really quick, whereas for kids, it's forever.
- 44:14Speaker 6: Oh yeah, thereg just rinse a kid everything.
- 44:19Speaker 3: Summer. Yeah, I thought, I just thought that was pretty interesting.
- 44:22Speaker 8: It is.
- 44:23Speaker 7: And that's the thing.
- 44:23Speaker 10: It's like when a little kid says like, oh, like
- 44:26Speaker 10: an hour, that's forever. Well, to them, it is because
- 44:28Speaker 10: they've only been on the planet for six years.
- 44:30Speaker 4: It is a long time.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Yeah exactly.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Yeah, and yeah, they just don't have any sense of
- 44:37Speaker 3: like how long an hour really is, right just to
- 44:40Speaker 3: then the the perspective to them is that it's it
- 44:42Speaker 3: sounds long, so therefore it is long, exactly, when in
- 44:45Speaker 3: reality it's it's not that long. No, it's right.
- 44:48Speaker 4: Well, for a ten year old, a year is a
- 44:50Speaker 4: tenth of their life exactly.
- 44:51Speaker 7: Yeah, you're both.
- 44:54Speaker 3: Ten seconds is in long unless you're asking us to
- 44:56Speaker 3: do a plank?
- 45:00Speaker 7: All right, yeah, a couple of punches eight.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Seven four Woodie set us a text check in over
- 45:07Speaker 3: to to nine eight seven.
- 45:09Speaker 4: Is the Woody Show.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Well, somebody here has a dirty little secret? No, yeah,
- 45:20Speaker 3: well well we heard about how you know, Morgan and Tyler.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Are now room nice.
- 45:27Speaker 3: That's a pretty dirty They're not shocking, not like not
- 45:31Speaker 3: like that, not the way, not the way that people
- 45:34Speaker 3: use that phrase. Yeah, right, so yeah, Morgan shared her
- 45:39Speaker 3: secret with us, But then I was told that somebody
- 45:43Speaker 3: else has a dirty little secret. Now what I said, Hey,
- 45:46Speaker 3: anybody here in the room has got a secret to share,
- 45:49Speaker 3: or a secret something they've been holding onto or whatever,
- 45:52Speaker 3: something interesting like something maybe we don't know about them
- 45:55Speaker 3: or whatever. To put it in the in the in
- 45:58Speaker 3: the studio top had the official Yeah, there are no
- 46:01Speaker 3: names associated with it. So I'll read what it says,
- 46:04Speaker 3: and then you guys can see if you can guess
- 46:06Speaker 3: who the dirty little secret belongs to. All right, I
- 46:10Speaker 3: got it, all right, So I'll just take one out here,
- 46:12Speaker 3: and this first one says, uh, just this morning, I
- 46:17Speaker 3: farted in the kitchen area, thinking I was alone, But
- 46:19Speaker 3: right after some guy walked up to get some coffee
- 46:22Speaker 3: and stood in my stink. I got it, I got it.
- 46:27Speaker 3: That's easy. Does it just people in this room?
- 46:30Speaker 7: Who's based on the room?
- 46:32Speaker 2: Okay, I know me too.
- 46:34Speaker 4: It's Sammy.
- 46:35Speaker 6: Has to be sam That's what I'm thinking too. I
- 46:37Speaker 6: was thinking Gina.
- 46:38Speaker 7: I was thinking Greg.
- 46:40Speaker 3: I mean Gina. I don't. I don't think Gina. I
- 46:43Speaker 3: think Sammy because of what we experienced that that Joe.
- 46:45Speaker 4: Cooy shot was.
- 46:47Speaker 7: And it doesn't make any noise, she says.
- 46:50Speaker 3: She says that like her farts don't make noise, but
- 46:54Speaker 3: the free throughout the day dump something like this wouldn't.
- 47:01Speaker 6: Even be noteworthy for me.
- 47:02Speaker 3: I do it all the time.
- 47:03Speaker 7: That's not even Greg.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Somebody walked right after.
- 47:07Speaker 6: Well, you know you don't drink coffee, do you?
- 47:09Speaker 7: I have a little bit, but I only always have
- 47:12Speaker 7: the Can I tell you why this is not Greg's?
- 47:14Speaker 3: Yeah? Please look at the way that the note is
- 47:16Speaker 3: torn at the at the at the bottom.
- 47:19Speaker 7: That kind of thing.
- 47:20Speaker 3: I can't, I certainly can't.
- 47:22Speaker 4: He's using his powers as a detective.
- 47:24Speaker 3: Greg would never accept something that's not in a complete
- 47:27Speaker 3: straight line, like so it's not bread.
- 47:29Speaker 7: That is very okay?
- 47:31Speaker 3: Well that way, yes, who's everybodys guess I'm saying, Sammy, Sammy, Sammy, Sammy.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Who's uh? Whose secret is this?
- 47:42Speaker 4: That is mine?
- 47:44Speaker 13: I know what I know?
- 47:47Speaker 4: The counter just recked it? Oh is that?
- 47:49Speaker 2: Like you?
- 47:52Speaker 6: It's a strategy to.
- 47:55Speaker 3: Strategy someone forces silent but violent that's yeah.
- 47:59Speaker 4: Yeah, it wasn't even silent too, and I I couldn't
- 48:01Speaker 4: hold it anymore and I let it red and I'm like, well,
- 48:04Speaker 4: there's nobody around, no harm, no foul. Right after right now,
- 48:08Speaker 4: some dude walks up, Hey, good morning, like, hey, good morning,
- 48:12Speaker 4: like thinking feel faster, feil faster here that I thought
- 48:16Speaker 4: I got away with it, but it was bad.
- 48:19Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 48:20Speaker 2: That happened to be on the fourth floor. I thought
- 48:22Speaker 2: no one was there and I was ribbing one so hard.
- 48:25Speaker 6: I don't know why it always happens in the studio.
- 48:30Speaker 3: Walk in. Who's a dirty little secret is this? I've
- 48:33Speaker 3: had expired registration on my car for over a year.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Who that could be all of you?
- 48:40Speaker 3: Morgan?
- 48:41Speaker 7: Yeah, I may say menace or Morgan.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Menace inspired registration would have to be the one to
- 48:47Speaker 3: do that. No, No, this is too easy. Also, think
- 48:52Speaker 3: just the way it's written. I've had expired registration on
- 48:55Speaker 3: my car for over a year. It feels like that's
- 48:57Speaker 3: missing a couple of.
- 48:58Speaker 6: I'm responsible for small like my registration.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Has been expired on my car for you, like I've
- 49:04Speaker 3: had an and expired registration.
- 49:07Speaker 2: I don't want to give away. I don't want to
- 49:08Speaker 2: give away the clue. Why wouldn't it be me if
- 49:10Speaker 2: you're that confident?
- 49:11Speaker 3: Well, Greg, also try to throw us off, Sue exactly.
- 49:14Speaker 3: You know, I can't trust any tell you what.
- 49:17Speaker 2: The car that I drive is a company car, So
- 49:20Speaker 2: I don't even handle.
- 49:21Speaker 7: The registration, Sammy, because.
- 49:27Speaker 3: It's automatically updated. Put me down for if it's not you,
- 49:31Speaker 3: I'll put Morgan is my official guest. Morgan has to
- 49:35Speaker 3: be more.
- 49:36Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm gonna go Sammy.
- 49:38Speaker 6: I'm going Sammy too.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:40Speaker 4: I think Morgan now has a boyfriend.
- 49:43Speaker 11: Now, she's got other things to do. She can't even
- 49:44Speaker 11: put her Christmas stuff away, and she's had a boyfriend
- 49:48Speaker 11: about a year now. Right almost makes sense, And it's
- 49:51Speaker 11: not doing it for her almost, So it's like just
- 49:54Speaker 11: not getting done right.
- 49:55Speaker 3: Now, you're trying to throw us.
- 49:58Speaker 2: And Sammy keeps her of car pristine, right and she's
- 50:02Speaker 2: organized a Yeah.
- 50:04Speaker 3: Who's a dirty little secret?
- 50:06Speaker 13: Is this?
- 50:06Speaker 7: It's mine?
- 50:08Speaker 2: Damn, I was gonna say, because she live, I mean
- 50:12Speaker 2: lives so close, she would like not registers that much.
- 50:16Speaker 8: So yeah, it didn't pass smog initially, and then it
- 50:21Speaker 8: turned into a whole thing and I just was like,
- 50:24Speaker 8: I don't have time for this. And I had paid
- 50:26Speaker 8: the registration, but it wasn't passing smog, so I could never.
- 50:30Speaker 7: Get the tags for it. And it's an old, older car.
- 50:32Speaker 8: Yeah, it's about fourteen years old.
- 50:34Speaker 6: That's what I'm going through right now.
- 50:35Speaker 8: And so yeah, and so that's all the same process
- 50:38Speaker 8: and leaving the car there for hours to get it
- 50:40Speaker 8: fixed or other stuff.
- 50:41Speaker 7: So now I finally passed smog and I'm going to
- 50:44Speaker 7: pay it so I shall have texting. But I'm horrified
- 50:47Speaker 7: at that.
- 50:47Speaker 8: But because like Menna said, I live so close, it
- 50:50Speaker 8: hasn't been a super issue because I.
- 50:52Speaker 7: Don't really drive that much. Yeah, you're a girl.
- 50:54Speaker 6: If you get pulled over, you.
- 50:55Speaker 3: Know, yeah, registration does it fix it? Do I know?
- 51:00Speaker 5: You?
- 51:01Speaker 7: Effors?
- 51:01Speaker 12: Or what?
- 51:02Speaker 2: This next one?
- 51:03Speaker 3: For a long time. I couldn't stop pulling my hair out.
- 51:06Speaker 3: It was a problem. I don't really do it anymore,
- 51:08Speaker 3: but these days I watch videos of other people pulling
- 51:11Speaker 3: their hair out, and it's my favorite thing to watch.
- 51:14Speaker 4: Okay, that has really Yeah you got weird quirks, weird
- 51:20Speaker 4: habits that you're doing and focused on one thing.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Yeah. She starts watching like videos that I'll share a theme, right, like, yeah,
- 51:29Speaker 3: just go down rabbit holes. Yeah I will, I will say,
- 51:33Speaker 3: I will say.
- 51:33Speaker 2: Gina, Gina, Gina, Gina, Gina.
- 51:37Speaker 7: Is Morgan, Yeah, I say Morgan, Yeah, Morgan.
- 51:40Speaker 3: Who's your guest on all these Gina Gina? All right,
- 51:43Speaker 3: who's dirty little secret is this?
- 51:44Speaker 7: Obviously it's me. I used to.
- 51:48Speaker 10: Apparently it's called tricotillomania. I had it like my entire life.
- 51:51Speaker 10: It's an obsessive, compulsive thing. Wow, just like pulling my
- 51:55Speaker 10: like I couldn't stop. I had like patches of hair
- 51:58Speaker 10: that was gone. I was stressed out all the time.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Our program director is always like pulling out her hair.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Really, but she'll she'll find one and she'll like take
- 52:07Speaker 3: that strand of hair and pull it all the way. Actually,
- 52:10Speaker 3: that long hair she'll pull all the up and then
- 52:11Speaker 3: she's talking to you. She's like folding it again, folding
- 52:14Speaker 3: it in half, and then so she could place it
- 52:16Speaker 3: in the garbage. You're having that conversation and she's like pulling, folding, tossing.
- 52:22Speaker 7: That sounds like she doesn't even know she's pulling.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Folding, tossing. Really notice it, you'll notice it now.
- 52:28Speaker 7: So I finally kind of got that under control.
- 52:31Speaker 10: But my favorite thing to watch our videos of people
- 52:34Speaker 10: like plucking hairs, and that's I don't know, but you
- 52:37Speaker 10: know I cannot pops its and I've never popped one.
- 52:40Speaker 10: I will pull any of your ingrown hairs anytime. I
- 52:44Speaker 10: am ready at a drop of a hat. I'm happy
- 52:47Speaker 10: to do it.
- 52:48Speaker 7: I love like, I love it.
- 52:50Speaker 2: Yeah, that's weird.
- 52:51Speaker 7: Yeah, it's totally a mental thing. It's obsessive thing.
- 52:55Speaker 3: Right, and you totally have all those traits.
- 52:57Speaker 6: I know a girl that ripped all her eyelashes.
- 53:00Speaker 7: Also know no, no, thank god, because those don't grow back.
- 53:05Speaker 4: I know somebody who bites her lip obsessively, just constantly,
- 53:08Speaker 4: like I think I do that, use it, you know,
- 53:10Speaker 4: pushing it into her fingers, getting a good choking lip
- 53:14Speaker 4: and just biting it.
- 53:16Speaker 3: I've never understood the biting your nails thing.
- 53:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I get that.
- 53:20Speaker 10: Well, that's why I have nails on. Literally, I think
- 53:24Speaker 10: this should be a copey because this is medical. Like
- 53:27Speaker 10: I didn't have my nails on for like three days
- 53:29Speaker 10: a couple weeks ago.
- 53:30Speaker 4: First time I noticed it. Yeah, and I looked over
- 53:32Speaker 4: and Genus, all her fingers were.
- 53:34Speaker 7: Bloody blood real.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Yes, I have a legit crazy persons.
- 53:42Speaker 7: I just really.
- 53:44Speaker 10: Way yeah, constantly biting. I'm the legit crazy person in
- 53:50Speaker 10: the room, constantly biting.
- 53:51Speaker 3: And like, for sure.
- 53:55Speaker 2: We have Greg's famous thumb, Like your thumb has been destroyed.
- 54:00Speaker 3: Right, I don't even think Greg like his thumb can
- 54:02Speaker 3: produce a nail. I don't think whatever nail is on
- 54:04Speaker 3: there now, it's just what's on there. And then once
- 54:06Speaker 3: that's gone, it's gonna be that's gonna be it. It's
- 54:08Speaker 3: just gonna be made.
- 54:09Speaker 7: Like this is to focus on.
- 54:11Speaker 4: One at a time, and it took years and years
- 54:14Speaker 4: and years, and.
- 54:14Speaker 7: You guys don't get it. That's impressive to one thumb.
- 54:17Speaker 4: I wonder if I could get a fake nail like yours.
- 54:19Speaker 7: And makes all let it heal for a couple of years,
- 54:22Speaker 7: that would be smart. Makes all the difference in the.
- 54:24Speaker 3: Understand chewing at your own hand to the point where
- 54:27Speaker 3: it's like bleeding, and.
- 54:29Speaker 7: Well just like picking at the nails.
- 54:32Speaker 3: Like a little flap. All right, Well it's official. We're
- 54:37Speaker 3: all crazy.
- 54:38Speaker 7: Yeah, man, we did it special ways everybody.
- 54:43Speaker 3: But you were here now now, Greg, Gory, Sammy, we
- 54:53Speaker 3: got Morgan, you know, dumb ass Tyler's roommate. Yeah, come in,
- 55:00Speaker 3: you wear you wear the pants.
- 55:02Speaker 2: In that household, don't you?
- 55:03Speaker 3: You're the boss?
- 55:04Speaker 2: My wife was.
- 55:05Speaker 3: My wife was laughing out loud watching the video that
- 55:09Speaker 3: Vaughan put together of that discussion yesterday.
- 55:12Speaker 2: And when you said why do you.
- 55:13Speaker 3: Got to bring this stuff into our house? Our it
- 55:16Speaker 3: was just the way you said it. You just sounded
- 55:18Speaker 3: like this, like bitter old bub like like married couple. Yeah,
- 55:23Speaker 3: why do you bring this stuff into our house? That's
- 55:25Speaker 3: something she would say to me. But we've been married
- 55:27Speaker 3: for you know, seventeen years. Yea, when do you use
- 55:29Speaker 3: this all these ladies? Can you get rid of this prap? Please?
- 55:33Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 55:33Speaker 3: Pretty funny? Uh eight seven text us over to two
- 55:37Speaker 3: two nine eight seven. Valentine's Day just a few days away.
- 55:42Speaker 3: But your relationship might not make it that long because
- 55:46Speaker 3: according to all the numbers and stuff, I guess today
- 55:50Speaker 3: is today that you're most likely to get.
- 55:52Speaker 2: Dumped or to do some dumping.
- 55:55Speaker 7: The deadline, this is the deadline.
- 55:56Speaker 6: Kind of a little close.
- 55:57Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 55:59Speaker 3: Twenty twenty seven percent of people in relationship say that
- 56:02Speaker 3: they have dumped their partner the week of Valentine's Day,
- 56:05Speaker 3: with today being the most common day for it to happen,
- 56:07Speaker 3: because Valentine's Day, you know, that's that's the ultimate love day. Man.
- 56:10Speaker 3: People in relationships they realize they just don't like this
- 56:13Speaker 3: person that they're with all that much, and they don't
- 56:15Speaker 3: want to go through with the plans anymore. They don't
- 56:17Speaker 3: want to spend the money. Yeah, I mean, I told you, dude,
- 56:22Speaker 3: I've been there, I've done this. I was at the
- 56:25Speaker 3: Grammys doing a broadcast. I was out of town for
- 56:28Speaker 3: a few days, and then I flew home, got home
- 56:31Speaker 3: late the night before the next morning was Valentine's Day,
- 56:35Speaker 3: and I was married to my first wife at the time,
- 56:39Speaker 3: And while I was gone, I was going through like
- 56:42Speaker 3: a lot of a lot of self reflection, soul searching,
- 56:47Speaker 3: to the point I brought a notebook on the plane.
- 56:49Speaker 3: How gay is a writing down all these things about
- 56:52Speaker 3: like yeah, right, like I was really trying to organize
- 56:55Speaker 3: my thoughts, you know, yeah, you know gang. But so anyway,
- 57:03Speaker 3: I came to the conclusion that, you know what, it's
- 57:06Speaker 3: time to move on. And that's when I made the
- 57:08Speaker 3: decision that didn't want to be married anymore and that
- 57:11Speaker 3: was going to ask for a divorce. Now Valentine's Day
- 57:13Speaker 3: is coming up, I can't not have a card. But
- 57:15Speaker 3: also because I don't have the ability to, like I am,
- 57:19Speaker 3: I'm a really I don't have a great poker face.
- 57:22Speaker 3: You know. It's hard for me. If somebody asked me
- 57:25Speaker 3: a question, it's hard for me not to give them
- 57:27Speaker 3: just the answer, even though I'm supposed to, you know
- 57:30Speaker 3: not you know, you know not. Yeah, Like like I
- 57:33Speaker 3: cause I I I'm uncomfortable. I'm uncomfortable with the with
- 57:39Speaker 3: the lie of it.
- 57:40Speaker 2: Yeah, you know.
- 57:42Speaker 3: So I'm going through all these Valentines. You know how
- 57:44Speaker 3: hard it is to find a Valentine's Day card that
- 57:46Speaker 3: doesn't say we're gonna grow old together.
- 57:51Speaker 2: My life.
- 57:52Speaker 3: Like, yeah, like, isn't there anything for like new relationships
- 57:56Speaker 3: where you're kind of not sure, let's feel things out.
- 58:00Speaker 6: We've been together for a while card.
- 58:02Speaker 3: Yeah, and you gotta keep like I'm like getting eaten
- 58:05Speaker 3: up on the inside, man, because I feel so guilty
- 58:07Speaker 3: and I feel so bad that I'm gonna have to
- 58:09Speaker 3: have this conversation. But I can't not have a Valentine's
- 58:11Speaker 3: Day card. So I buy this Valentine's Day card, which
- 58:13Speaker 3: is the most middle of the road one that I
- 58:15Speaker 3: can find. Yeah, I think it was pretty generic, and
- 58:19Speaker 3: I wrote like a nice it was a nice note
- 58:22Speaker 3: in there. But man, if she didn't know me, I
- 58:25Speaker 3: left it on the uh on the kitchen tables so
- 58:28Speaker 3: she'd see it. The next morning she got out to
- 58:30Speaker 3: leave for work, she opened it and she came right
- 58:33Speaker 3: upstairs and she woke my ass up. I wasn't doing
- 58:36Speaker 3: mornings at this point. I was doing the afternoon show
- 58:38Speaker 3: on the radio station, so I was I was asleep,
- 58:40Speaker 3: and she's like, Hey, what the hell is this? Yeah,
- 58:43Speaker 3: she knew, and so that's when I told her, I'm like,
- 58:46Speaker 3: I don't want to have this comver this is the
- 58:47Speaker 3: intent was not to have this conversation right now, not
- 58:50Speaker 3: like this. Yeah, this was the band aid, right And
- 58:52Speaker 3: she goes, no, we're gonna talk about.
- 58:54Speaker 2: It right now.
- 58:54Speaker 3: I'm like all right, And so we had the conversation
- 58:58Speaker 3: and that was it. And that was Valentine's Day. That
- 59:03Speaker 3: was Valentine's Day and I put her on a plane
- 59:05Speaker 3: that day. She was from Portland, Oregon. Time no she like,
- 59:10Speaker 3: she's like, well, I'm not going to work and she
- 59:11Speaker 3: was upset. You know, now I'm upset and uh And
- 59:16Speaker 3: I said, well, what do you want to do? You know,
- 59:19Speaker 3: and she's like, I don't know. I said, do you
- 59:21Speaker 3: wanna do you wanna go see your mom? Like you like,
- 59:23Speaker 3: you want to go home visit your family? Like she's
- 59:25Speaker 3: like yeah. So I put her on a plane that
- 59:27Speaker 3: I booked a ticket, last minute ticket. She went to
- 59:30Speaker 3: the airport. That was the last time I saw her.
- 59:34Speaker 3: Put it in two weeks notice on a job, you know.
- 59:37Speaker 4: That was it.
- 59:37Speaker 3: She just left. Why she's leaving the city. We were
- 59:40Speaker 3: living in Chicago at the time. Wasn't she was gonna
- 59:42Speaker 3: be hanging around Chicago? Like so she she well, the
- 59:45Speaker 3: intent was she was coming back. She was gonna go
- 59:47Speaker 3: for like a few days, maybe a week, and then
- 59:49Speaker 3: she was gonna come back. And then we kind of
- 59:51Speaker 3: stored everything out and figure everything out. But once she
- 59:53Speaker 3: was gone, like a like a a few days became
- 59:56Speaker 3: a week, a week became two weeks, and I go, well,
- 59:58Speaker 3: do you need I mean, like, there's there's no real
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: need for you to come back. Like I can send
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: all the stuff, we can do all the stuff. As
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: far as like the legal part of it, we can
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: figure that out. And we did, and it was very amicable.
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: There's no cheating, there's no anything like that. It was
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: just like we got married super young.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: That was the thing.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: We got married I think twenty three, but we had
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: been together for like five years before that, so like
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: we were dating when we were nineteen and twenty years old.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: Maybe yeah, And so it just didn't work out. You're
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: growing to be different people, so there was no reason
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: to be other than being upset that, you know, I'm
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: getting divorced.
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: That's the cleanest breakup I've ever heard.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: It really was.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: It really was.
- 1:00:32Speaker 11: Now, are you happy that that happened Valentine's Morning? Because
- 1:00:35Speaker 11: you were planning on I know conversation?
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: No, I wish, I wish it would have happened in
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: a different way. Really, it's yeah, yeah, I know, but
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: like I don't know, it's weird that she figured it
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: out through the card. Well, she knew me, yeah, and
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: she knew you know, very okay, buddy.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Yeah, she usually says no, yeah, not usually was saying
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: my love of my life.
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: I really wish value constantly. I really wish I can
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: remember what I wrote in the card, because it wasn't cold.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: It wasn't it was I can promise you it was
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: very warm, and it was you know, like you know,
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: like basically you know, you're you're you're a you're a
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: kind loving person kind of thing.
- 1:01:18Speaker 13: You know.
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: It was about her, not about the two of you together.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Maybe I really.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: Wish I could remember cool. But her name was Summer.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: Her name was Summer.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: I've had stuff though in high school because I uh
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: ended up getting with my high school girlfriend a week
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: before Valentine's Day.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: That's the that's the opposite pressure.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: And guess what, I didn't get anything on Valentine's Day,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: but she got me a ton of stuff.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: I've been in that situation.
- 1:01:54Speaker 11: Where I've gotten the guy stuff and he didn't get
- 1:01:56Speaker 11: me anything, and it's very like, Okay.
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: I know my place now.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:00Speaker 10: But I also had one like a friend, like just
- 1:02:02Speaker 10: a really good guy friend that had a thing for
- 1:02:04Speaker 10: me that it was not mutual. And he gave me
- 1:02:07Speaker 10: a present for Valentine's Day and I was like, I
- 1:02:09Speaker 10: just I can't accept this, and he looked at me
- 1:02:11Speaker 10: and he got so many he knew it. He chip
- 1:02:13Speaker 10: just chucked it at his locker and it broke as
- 1:02:15Speaker 10: a CD and just scattered.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: It stopped totally.
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: On that he bought it.
- 1:02:23Speaker 10: So he bought and I said I can't and then
- 1:02:25Speaker 10: he just stomped on like a baby and walked away.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: I can't accept that gift. It wasn't like a tennis.
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: It's slippery stuff.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Yeah, no, gold digger.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: I don't like why wait, you know, like if like
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: why wait?
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: Why intentionally break up with somebody the week of Valentine's Day? Yeah,
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: I mean it's on your mind probably a lot.
- 1:02:54Speaker 10: Yeah, it's like people do before Christmas, like what the
- 1:02:57Speaker 10: three week deadline chas faking it gets harder, right. I
- 1:03:02Speaker 10: knew a girl who wanted to break up with her boyfriend,
- 1:03:05Speaker 10: and she just kept putting it off and putting it off.
- 1:03:07Speaker 10: And he proposed to her in front of her family
- 1:03:09Speaker 10: on Christmas Day and she said.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: Yes because she was a moment yes, but then got out.
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: Exactly, I guess that's better.
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: To not you know, her in front of her whole family.
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: Yeah, just dumping ladies, just dumping.
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: Yeah, they can take it, right, what are you waiting for?
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: Well?
- 1:03:33Speaker 10: And that's the thing I mean this she was young,
- 1:03:35Speaker 10: Like this was right out of college. So like maybe
- 1:03:38Speaker 10: now you're like, bro, get off your knee, but like
- 1:03:41Speaker 10: then you're like okay, right, So.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: I got her there.
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: My wife Jen now my second wife. She was like
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: when we met, I was married to my first wife.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: She was in a long term relationship and we were
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: just friends. We were co workers, you know, the guy
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: that I was doing the show with. They had grown
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: up together and so that's how I knew Jen or whatever.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: And everybody kind of hang out like as a group, right,
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: And uh, this guy that she was with for a
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: number of years turned out to be gay, And even
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: after she found out and she confronted him about it,
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: he still proposed to her. Yeah, even after like that confrontation,
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: he proposed to her.
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: I'm very con.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: I think it was just like he didn't want to
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: accept it. It was a hell Mary, it was at
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: hell married. She could have fronted him like she was
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: because like, hey, because one of one of his friends
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: felt bad, like like what was going on because he
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: was like, I guess, like with these dudes and stuff
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: behind her back. Yeah, you know, and and they felt
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: the need that you should you should know this, you know?
- 1:04:55Speaker 10: After that he DoD nile.
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: Does she still talk to him? Are they like buddies?
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: No?
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: No, I just broke up with my boyfriend of fifteen
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: years last night and we have an eleven year old.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: It was bad and we both knew it, so it
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: was amicable. But it has been a long time coming.
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: Damn uh what His ex wife knew the D game
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: was weak, and she went out of it too. Hey,
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: she could, she could have very easily pulled the rip cord. Yeah,
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: I wouldn't blame her. You're right, week D game game
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: Yeah not great. But also it's like it's not like
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: it's not like you were surprised. It's not like I
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: pulled the old switcheroo, you know, bait and switch, Like
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: you knew like before you bought the cow, you knew
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: what the milk was.
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: Yeah, you know that week as milk, that week milk.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: Skim milk right leg Yeah. Oh, when it comes to
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: wife material, you guys strap in for this one.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: This is good.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: Women who want lots of stuff don't make good wives.
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: Yes, yes, no, takers don't make good pardoners.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: So researchers studied married couples and they found that when
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: the wife was materialistic, right, and about one and three
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: of them were, both spouses were dissatisfied with their marriage.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: Now one possible reason. The wife hassles her husband for
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: more cash regardless of the couple's financial standing, and if
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: she doesn't get what she wants, she thinks the man
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: has failed as a husband.
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Yeah, this just in.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: Women who want lots of material things don't make good wives.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Oh really, merit, Yeah yeah, jot that down. Yeah, look, look,
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: look for those red flags.
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: Put that on your mirror.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Ratings come out every week, and if they're not.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: Good, yeah, text over to two two ninety seven says
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: my boyfriend broke up with me on Friday.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, some money.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: We had mentioned that. Apparently today is the most common
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: day to get broken up with or do some breaking
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: up if you are a person. Because either doing the
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: breaking up, but especially if you've been broken up with,
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: you got to remember my rule. Yes, it's super helpful.
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: I got to use it.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: For my son.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah. I told my son about this and
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: he tried it and he goes, good, tell you man,
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: actually work.
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: Really did it like the way you're supposed to do it?
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Actually listened?
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, did he have time for that? Had he
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: been with someone a long time so.
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: He got to round up to a day. So here,
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: here's here's the rule. The rule is if you know
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: you get broken up with, if you're doing the breaking up,
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: it should be even easier. But if you're the one
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: who's being broken up with, I get it. You're gonna
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: be upset and you're gonna want to feel sorry for yourself.
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: And that's fine, that's fine.
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: That's part of it.
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: But this whole thing where it just goes on and
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: on and that just carries into days, weeks, a month,
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: maybe longer. You know those people, yep, right, have some
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: self respect, like, think about it this way, have some
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: respect for yourself. This person is telling you straight up
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: they don't want to be with you anymore. You're not
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: important enough to them to work it out or to
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: be with or whatever. So rather than putting all that
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: emotional energy into that person or around that person in
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: any way, shape or form, put it back in yourself
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: and have some self respect and pick yourself up. And
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: you cut it off, like you allow yourself to feel
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: bad and eat cookie dough or whatever you do to cope.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: And this is how you figure out how long you
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: give yourself for every year you've been together. You get
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: one day, one day for every year, Yeah, to feel
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: sorry for yourself. And then you start looking forward through
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: the windshield, not the rear view mirror. You start looking forward.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: You start thinking about things for you, things to do
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: for yourself, not really relationship related to whatever. Just focus
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: on you. They're not focused on you, but you're spending
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: all this crying and emotional energy on them.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: That's a waste f them. I don't know, Greg and
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Genus seem very hesitant. I don't understand why.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: But you, like you know, do you ever hear fake
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: it till you make it. Whether you're actually over it
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: or not, that's a completely different thing. But if you
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: force yourself to not be sitting around and feeling sorry
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: for you, like I'm not gonna feel sorry for myself
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: even if you're faking it, put on a fake smile,
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: you will eventually dress for the job you want, right, Yeah,
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: so for every year you've been together, you get a
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: day to just wallow in it and feel sorry for yourself.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: Then if it's under a year, you can round up
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: to a day. This is my rule. If you choose
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: to employ it, that's completely up to you. If you
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: want to sit around and feel sorry for yourself and
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: be a sad sack for you know, God knows how
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: long go for it, and it'll never benefit you in
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: any way. And to be honest, how many people have
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: we over the years on the text after because I've
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: given this advice many times? How many people have we
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: seen this at? Oh my god, I actually try to
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: do it worked. My own son just told me. And
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: he's an immature, unfinished cooking, like still underdeveloped, sixteen year
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: old kid. Yeah, And if it can work, if it
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: can work for someone who's like so you know, unbalanced
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: from a chemical standpoint of this, because you're still grown
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: and develop and it can work for a grown ass person, well,
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: and you're right.
- 1:10:26Speaker 10: Because on the other side of that, I know people
- 1:10:28Speaker 10: who I mean it's been years and like you got
- 1:10:31Speaker 10: to get on with your life.
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: Yeah, years, right, My own grandmother was this way, Like
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: you would have thought that she and my grandfather divorced
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: the previous year. They had been divorced for over fifty years. Wow,
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: and it was like she was still happy, she was
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: still carrying. It's so unhealthy.
- 1:10:47Speaker 10: Okay, So I don't know if anyone's ever asked you
- 1:10:49Speaker 10: this before. I'd love your opinion on it. What if
- 1:10:51Speaker 10: like because you said grandparent, Like, what if they die?
- 1:10:55Speaker 13: Oh?
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: I mean curious? No, no, no, because the whole idea
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: goes back to, this is a person who's telling you
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: they don't want.
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: To be with you.
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: I get it.
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: I just didn't know if we extended this to other.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: Factor that's that's a whole different set.
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: Of just getting back to living your life and enjoying.
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: Well, no, that's a different I think that's just now
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: you're it's all grieving. Yeah, but it wasn't because somebody
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: told you they didn't want to be with you anymore.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: It's like being you know, like a getting fired and
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: you know like, okay, we'll go like what you sit
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: around and not work. So the point to get another job,
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: like move on, move on with your life. Yea death thing,
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: though some people do move on pretty quick.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: You're like, oh, I'm super fast.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: Yeah, but you don't know what was happening with the relationship.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: Maybe they weren't even happy. And then luckily for them,
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: they don't just thank God, save me, shave me the trouble,
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: the awkward conversation, the lawyer fights. Yeah, I broke with
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: my girlfriend the day after alter ego that we ended
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: our relationship amicably. We're still friends. That's cool.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: That's awesome because yeah, going the unnecessary of hating each
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: other and things like that, Like, yeah, I know people
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: that still go through that because they have kids together
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: and they just act like, I don't know, they're still
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: teenagers beefing every day.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: Yeah, when you have kids involved, like just be cool.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: And when you have kids, you have to again fake
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: it till you make it kind of thing. You have to,
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: you know, put that face on. Some people absolutely don't.
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: They use the kids as you know, leverage or as ponds. Yeah,
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: they put them in the middle stuff, which that's that's
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: ft up. Yeah, I'm a child of divorce.
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: Yeah, you know you tell your father, Yeah.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: Your dad this, or you know, you're a mom whatever,
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: and yeah, it's like that's that sucks. We have this
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: family friend she was married for decades to her husband.
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: He passed away and she was dating this new dude
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: within about a month and a half. It was so
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: fast that she was on Oprah. Wow, that's cool.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: The topic was moving on too fast.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and she was like, yeah, I love it,
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: that's awesome. Sometimes I questioned, sometimes I question the whole
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: like staying friends with the X thing, Like what's behind that?
- 1:13:06Speaker 11: I was just about to say, I don't see how
- 1:13:08Speaker 11: you can't be friends, Like, it's weird to me that
- 1:13:11Speaker 11: you would have an ex and just completely disregard that
- 1:13:14Speaker 11: they were ever in your life.
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: Yeah, like who cares.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: I recently heard though, if you are good friends with
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: your ex, it means one of two things. You're either
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: still in love or you never were in love.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: That is indeed, that's interesting.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: I was thinking more like the you're kind of leaving
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: the door open.
- 1:13:30Speaker 11: Yeah right, yeah, but don't even have to be good friends,
- 1:13:33Speaker 11: just amicable, like you know, friends, but not hate each other.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: No, beefy, you don't have to hate each other.
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: Adults here, like we both want to move on with
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: our lives.
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: Just like, yeah, the whole thing about you know, you
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: stay friends to the point where you know you're hanging
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: out all the time, and once you're in a new
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: relationship like oh here, I'm going to introduce you to Greg.
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: Oh you know, and you're inviting them to the wedding.
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: Like if you do make it work with the new person,
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: you're inviting the ex of the wedding, which Menace has
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: talked about a number of times, like getting invited getting
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: invited to an ex's wedding as one of your.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: Weddings baby showers something like oh yeah, Like I would
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: not do that, Like we're cool, like you hit me
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: up and ask me questions or stuff like that. But
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: we're not going on vacation together, Like I have friends
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: that do that. I'm like, no, not not going to happen.
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: Yeah, I going on vacation. Yeah I know people like
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: that too.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: Yeah, h do the master for me? Wife of twenty
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: nine years, side chick of eleven years. Oh wait, they
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: broke up with me on the same day. How long
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: do I get? Okay? Oh well, are you sad about
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: the side check? Well, I mean you know, for either one,
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: you get twenty nine years for the on, you get
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: twenty nine days for the wife, and then you get
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: eleven days for the side check.
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: Okay a long time though.
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: Yeah, but I kind of feel like you you, I mean,
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: so they're both pissed about the other side. You probably
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: told the sidecheck that you were leaving your wife, which
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: you never had intention of because you wanted your whatever
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: and eat it too, and then yeah and then uh
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: and then the wife of course had no idea about
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: the side chick clearly. Yeah, but can you serve the
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: days like the consecutively? Yeah, like they do it. Yeah, well,
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: if you had the relationship consecutively, then you can serve
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: the days consecutively. Just want to make sure. Yeah, all right,
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: So these are the questions that uh, you know, the psychologists,
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: the people who understand our brains and everything, say that
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: you should ask if you're before you go to try
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: to stay friends with the next and if any of
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: these are yes, friendship may not be healthy. Okay, And
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: if it wasn't for Valentine's Day, we wouldn't be talking
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: about this at all, But here we go. We're trying
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: to help people out. So these are questions you should
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: ask yourself before you try to stay friends with the
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: next because if any of these are yes, according to
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: you know, psychologists, if any are yes, friendship may not
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: be healthy?
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: Did you get this list from Benji?
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, five?
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: I'm sorry.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Day was fine and shots fired.
- 1:16:03Speaker 7: Sometimes?
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: Why did you choose violence? I don't know? Yeah, alright,
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: sorry Benji. We weren't going we weren't. We weren't we
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: weren't trying to go down that road. But I mean,
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: maybe listen up here we go. Do you lack a
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: strong reason to stay friends, like co parenting and things
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: like that? Don't don't tell me the dog? Yeah, people
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: stop it, they.
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: Do, custody stop.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: Do you secretly want to get back together?
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: No?
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: No again. If any of these answers are yes, friendship
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: may not be healthy? Do you still want to have
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: sex with your ex?
- 1:16:45Speaker 7: Well?
- 1:16:47Speaker 6: Depends on I mean, I.
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: Mean, I mean okay, no, no, no, no, no, you
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: want to have sex with your ex?
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: Well?
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: Which one?
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly, that's a good one one of them? Yeah, sure, really,
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: I won't I won't say which one.
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: Who broke up with who?
- 1:17:15Speaker 6: It was the casual thing, so it wasn't likely break up?
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:18Speaker 7: Could you have sex with them and not want to
- 1:17:20Speaker 7: be in a relationship with them?
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, okay, okay, Morgan's like a dude.
- 1:17:24Speaker 11: Ye, think I have a brain trans Yeah.
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: Do you still feel resentment or anger toward them?
- 1:17:35Speaker 13: So?
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: Like you know?
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: So like another I would question like why are then
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: if you do have anger or resentment, why are you
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: trying to stay close?
- 1:17:43Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: That yeah?
- 1:17:43Speaker 7: Why would you want to be friends? Did you dirty? Yeah?
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: No? Do you frequently think or talk about your ex?
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: Not talk to about Yeah? But like you know those
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: people who were good, yeah, lay and behave? Does their
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: name or memories trigger any kind of physical reaction? Like yeah,
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: hard anxiety? Yeah, like you know, all of a sudden,
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: you're downstairs just flooded. All of a sudden. Dude, you're
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: rocking like a rod.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: Does the thought of your ex dating others bother you?
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: No, it's like please do?
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: And does your current partner object to you and your
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: ex being friends?
- 1:18:31Speaker 10: See, that's always an interesting one. Like I used to
- 1:18:33Speaker 10: be the kind of person I was like, what's the
- 1:18:34Speaker 10: big deal? Like I'm with you, what's the problem? But
- 1:18:37Speaker 10: now I'm like, you know what if you don't like it,
- 1:18:39Speaker 10: let's just yes, let's move on. Because I feel like
- 1:18:42Speaker 10: I had to like hold on to my independent you know,
- 1:18:45Speaker 10: when I was younger, like you don't get to tell
- 1:18:46Speaker 10: me what to do.
- 1:18:48Speaker 7: This isn't this isn't necessary.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: As a person with the deep trust issues, when people
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: start fighting to be or to stay friends, even if
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: it's just a conversation, Yeah, that's weird. Like are you
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: cool if I'm if I'm still friends with my ex
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: and uh and I go no and they get defensive
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: about it. Well, I mean but yeah, that to me
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: was a red was a red fight. Now again, I
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: have seeded trust issues.
- 1:19:14Speaker 7: Yeah, so it makes sense.
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: Maybe not the best person to ask. I trust nobody.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: So I figured, like, why are you fighting so hard
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: to stay friends with this person?
- 1:19:22Speaker 7: Yeah? Yeah, I get that.
- 1:19:23Speaker 6: It's suspicious.
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's off. Yeah, so if you answered yes to
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: any of those, friendship may not be healthy. Again, this
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: is a public service. I don't nessarily care if you're
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: friends with your.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: Extra or not.
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: Just to uh, just a way to try to be helpful. Yeah,
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: with all this relationship crap going on this week Valentine's Day,
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: let's get past.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: This is a this is a season of obligation because
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: then we go from Valentine's Day, then Mother's Day, then
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: Father's Day.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: It's like, god damn it.
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: Well, we all forget about father's days.
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: Yeah, well, that's that's true enough. I don't That's the thing.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: It's like these days of obligation least favorite days.
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: Eight seven seven forty four. Woodie, you can text us
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: over to two two nine eight seven. We'll take a break.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: More Woodies show is next hanging out the wood shown No, okay, okay,
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: I think I know what that is. Yeah, this is
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: the hoodie show.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: And wow.
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: I typically, oh nice, get it?
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: I did not.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: I did not plan that.
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: Nothing board and did that somebody throwed just a friend
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: in there?
- 1:20:29Speaker 7: Baby?
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: You you got what I need?
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: You say? Friend?
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: Did you say a friend? See? I got what? Oh
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: yeah it was a school day. I knew she was
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: there the first semester of the year. Yeah, alright. Anyway,
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: I typically don't like to spend an entire hour on
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: one thing, Yeah, because I quite frankly, I can't keep
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: my own attention that long. But uh, just to put
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: a cherry on the conversation. It setting a lot of
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: nice things on the text, and I'm glad it the conversation.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: The conversation helped out some people. There's obviously it's a
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: very common thing. If you got dumped. It's not the
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: end of your life. It's fine if you got to
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: break up with somebody, not the end of your life either.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: Just to blip the people that hang in there and
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: waste their time. The wasted time is the tragedy. That's
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: the thing that you should be upset about. Yeah, the
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: fact that you you know, if you're just hanging in there,
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: you're just wasting so much time. Yep, man, pull the
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: rip chord, get out of that. Go go find whatever
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: it is that's gonna make you happy and work for you.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: This one says, my boyfriend just broke up with me,
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: but all of his friends have reached out and still
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: want a friendship with me. Can I still be friends
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: with everyone, even if that means keeping a sort of
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: tie with my ex?
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: Are these?
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: Are these the guy friends girl friends? Like the other
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: girlfriends of the you know, dude's homies like girlfriends.
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: But the guy friends I think there, I don't think
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: that hidden.
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, you know, bros before hose like I
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: would never think to reach out.
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: I mean.
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: It does suck.
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: It would suck because you have the same friend group who.
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: Whoever brought them in?
- 1:22:20Speaker 6: But if you've all been friends forever.
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: If you all like one to high school together or something,
- 1:22:25Speaker 8: then it really is a difficult situation.
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: That's mutual friends, then obviously those were our friends. That
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: weren't those weren't Those weren't friends that you came to
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: the relationship with and then they became friends with because
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: of the relationship.
- 1:22:38Speaker 7: With a group of girlfriends.
- 1:22:39Speaker 10: If someone brings in a guy and no matter how
- 1:22:41Speaker 10: much you like him, how cool he is, and they
- 1:22:43Speaker 10: break up, he's dead, go fishing around.
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: It sucks because you you may really, Oh they were cool,
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: that sucks, didn't work out. Now they're cool to hang
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: out with, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, like you
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: wouldn't want to be in a relationship with them. They're
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: fun to hang out with.
- 1:23:01Speaker 10: But that's it, right, you're just leasing that guy, right
- 1:23:05Speaker 10: if you haven't bought him. There's no obligation.
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: It would be very strange if you were friends with
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: a guy friend of one of your girlfriends. That would
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: be after they broke up.
- 1:23:13Speaker 7: Oh, that's what I'm saying. That is prohibited.
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: This one says I'm a widow. My husband passed away
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: last year. We were together for fifteen years, married a
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: year and a half excuse me, what do you think
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: is best for me to move on? I'm thirty nine
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: years old. I have friends telling me that I should
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: move on by now. An they're saying that it should
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: take me years to move on.
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: Who's anybody to tell you, yeah, there's no right answer.
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: Who's sitting there telling a friend, Oh, it should take
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: you years to move on?
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: That's very strange.
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: And my experienced friends are always pushing you to move
- 1:23:45Speaker 8: on sooner than you're ready. You're like, I don't know
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: what are people going to think? For a friend to
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: say sit around longer is not evenymore.
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: They are not in your situation. They didn't lose somebody.
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: You lost your husband, then you'll know. I would think
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: that it's one of those things that you just know totally,
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: Like you meet somebody and like you will automatically know,
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: Like the way you feel will tell you that it's
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: either a good time or not the right time.
- 1:24:09Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: What sucks is when people can't be happy for other
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: people you know, knew somebody. Parents were together forever, dad
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: passes away, Mom was the caretaker for years, right put
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: her life on hold, and the dad passes away. She
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: ends up finding somebody dating getting married.
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: A quickly huh pretty quickly.
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: No, not quickly, but like over the course, I would say,
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: like a cup three years, two, three years, you know
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: whatever afterwards. Not outrageous, not outrageous at all. So happy
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: getting married. They refuse to go to their own mother's wedding.
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: Like that sucks so immature.
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: It's your mom didn't leave your dad, you know what
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: I mean? Like your mom gave up her life. Yeah,
- 1:25:03Speaker 3: put her life on hold to take it, which you
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: know that's what you do. Yeah, but like, man, you
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: can't be happy for this person you show up? Yeah,
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: like that get I think that's that's weak or like
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: you know your friends are telling you like no, no, no, no,
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: you're you're not ready to be happy. You should be.
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: It should take you years.
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: To be what's in it for you?
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: Week?
- 1:25:22Speaker 5: That?
- 1:25:23Speaker 10: Yeah, I sorry for you loss, though it was absolutely
- 1:25:26Speaker 10: I dated somebody many years ago who their grandfather was
- 1:25:30Speaker 10: a minister, had many many kids, devoted husband, devoted father.
- 1:25:35Speaker 10: His wife died, He went on a club med cruise,
- 1:25:38Speaker 10: met a lovely young man, and uh they're still together
- 1:25:44Speaker 10: in terms of like being the family caretaker and like
- 1:25:47Speaker 10: the minister. He's like you know what, I don't think
- 1:25:49Speaker 10: this whole this whole wife thing was for me to
- 1:25:51Speaker 10: begin with.
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: I tried it out.
- 1:25:53Speaker 7: Yeah, it's fine, exactly all right?
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: Eighty four Wooding for the feedback. I appreciate it. You
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: don't know how these on a show like this, how
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: you know these conversations end up going. But apparently some
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: people found some use for it, some good, you know,
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: some help. Yeah, you know, at least if anything somebody
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: said recently, it's nice to know that you're not out
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: there by yourself.
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: Absolutely.
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: It's what's up with what's going down in SOCl sports?
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: We had Jeff G.
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: And speaking of Italy, that's where Jeff G is right now.
- 1:26:28Speaker 9: Yep.
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: His sun goes to school over there on a basketball scholarship.
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: He's playing basketball. Pretty cool man, Jeff G's not playing
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: basketball size yeah, all right, But sitting in for Jeff G,
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: dumbass Tyler. What's happened with the SoCal sports?
- 1:26:41Speaker 13: Well, the Lakers couldn't get out of their way last night,
- 1:26:43Speaker 13: losing one nineteen to one ten to the reigning champion
- 1:26:46Speaker 13: thunder lebron finished the game with twenty two points, but
- 1:26:48Speaker 13: JJ Reddick said that they could have done some more
- 1:26:50Speaker 13: for him.
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: To start the fourth. I didn't think we did a
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: good job of getting Lebron the ball. We didn't execute,
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:26:55Speaker 13: Him playing against smaller players was how we got back
- 1:26:58Speaker 13: in the game, and we didn't do a good job
- 1:26:59Speaker 13: of getting the while they have no time to solk
- 1:27:01Speaker 13: over the loss because the Lakers get back at it
- 1:27:03Speaker 13: tonight against Wenby and the Spurs, with tip off at
- 1:27:05Speaker 13: seven thirty. The Clippers also get back at it tonight
- 1:27:07Speaker 13: on the road in Houston. It's the first of two
- 1:27:09Speaker 13: back to back games against KD and the Rockets, and
- 1:27:11Speaker 13: tip off for this one will be at five. California
- 1:27:14Speaker 13: versus Texas tale as old as time. Moving to the Olympics,
- 1:27:17Speaker 13: the US didn't win any medals yesterday, but they did
- 1:27:19Speaker 13: advance to a gold medal match for mixed doubles curling.
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: They stunned the.
- 1:27:22Speaker 13: Italians in the semies and will face the Swedes for
- 1:27:24Speaker 13: the gold later this morning at nine on the USA Network.
- 1:27:27Speaker 13: Immediately following that will be a matchup in women's hockey
- 1:27:29Speaker 13: between Team USA and Team Canada.
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: Puck drop for that is at eleven, also on the
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: USA Network.
- 1:27:34Speaker 13: Looking at the updated metal count, Norway has hopped into
- 1:27:37Speaker 13: the lead with eleven, Italy sits in second with ten,
- 1:27:39Speaker 13: and Japan is in third with seven.
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: The US is trending upwards and is now in a
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: five way tie for fourth place with five total medals.
- 1:27:46Speaker 13: And in baseball, the Dodgers released their promo schedule yesterday
- 1:27:49Speaker 13: for the stadium giveaways this year, and let's just say
- 1:27:51Speaker 13: there's a lot of good stuff on the list. Three
- 1:27:53Speaker 13: different series of babble heads will be released, with the
- 1:27:55Speaker 13: series for Otani's historic Game four of last year's NLCS,
- 1:27:59Speaker 13: a series devoted to Game seven of the World Series,
- 1:28:01Speaker 13: and a series featuring all four starting pitchers from last
- 1:28:04Speaker 13: year's World Series. Also worth noting that when the Giants
- 1:28:06Speaker 13: come to town in May, the Dodgers will be giving
- 1:28:08Speaker 13: away World Series items during that three game stretch, including
- 1:28:11Speaker 13: a bubblehead of ice Cube holding both trophies while riding
- 1:28:13Speaker 13: in a convertible. Great move for the Dodgers, honestly, since
- 1:28:16Speaker 13: the Giants wanted to be petty a few years back
- 1:28:18Speaker 13: and give out Mickey Mouse hats when La went up North.
- 1:28:20Speaker 13: As always the Giants, I'm dumbass Tyler and that's your
- 1:28:23Speaker 13: so Cal Sports.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: What dumbers.
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: Said you very much, dumbass Tyler.
- 1:28:29Speaker 4: Yes, the show.
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: Well, as we get into another new hour, insensitivity training
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: for a politically correct world, I introduce you to uh
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: all my friends on my pals. I'll sorry with myself.
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: Money is Woody, I am my own best friend.
- 1:28:46Speaker 4: Go ahead, huh Yeah.
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: Then we've got the Greg Gory boy, there is menace. Hi,
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: what's up Gina g Sea baths here, we got Sammy
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: Morgan's here. We've got the phones opened for you. Eight.
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: You can text us check in over to two to
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: nine eight seven. We have a round of what do
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: you show Weakest Link that we thought might be fun? Yeah,
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: the listener fun for you. Always an argument here in
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: the room for different things and never this is this
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: is just like you would see in the television version
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: of Weakest Link, where there are these questions and go
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: around the room to the different people here in the studio,
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: and the goal is to get how many rights would
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: we ever lower from eight?
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: Because I thought eight.
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: Seemed to be like where it was five. We were struggling.
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: We were struggling to get to eight.
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: Questions with mess Yeah that no, we don't struggle to
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: get to eight. We struggle to get to eight correct answers.
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: Yeah, but like how many how many questions do you
- 1:29:42Speaker 3: think in that amount of time? And how much it's
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: a minute? It's a minute on the.
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: Clock about I would say tennish.
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: Yeah, so there's only really room for air of two questions, right,
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: That's why that's why we never eat.
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: That's what we're gonna go, why we're starting hesitation.
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: Yeah. Usually there's a there's a meal like a meal
- 1:30:01Speaker 3: delivery promised to starving if we do pretty massive prize.
- 1:30:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm addicted to the Jane Lynch version of Weakest Link,
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: which rules. I would love to know. Is there really
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: an audience there? I don't think there is?
- 1:30:13Speaker 3: Oh really yeah.
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: I always thought there was at least a few Rose
- 1:30:15Speaker 7: films what.
- 1:30:16Speaker 4: I thought, But it's it's pitch black. You don't see them.
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: Oh I think it might be the budget cut.
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. I wonder if anybody knows.
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: Let me know, going to the taping of a show
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: like that is awful. Yeah, I told you I went.
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: I went to a taping of When Regis back then
- 1:30:34Speaker 3: when When Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Was super huge, Like,
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: so let's I think two thousand whatever, whoever year that
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: was super.
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: Huge shows laboriously slow.

- 1:40:34Speaker 3: By the way, Conspiracy Time, do you think Greg because
- 1:40:37Speaker 3: he's on the hook for getting the food delivery saves
- 1:40:40Speaker 3: the hardest questions for around like that?
- 1:40:44Speaker 4: Not a conspiracy. Keep on.
- 1:40:46Speaker 6: I think he's reading them.
- 1:40:47Speaker 3: We keep on going.
- 1:40:48Speaker 9: You keep the stuff on, saved hard ones at the end.
- 1:40:51Speaker 9: Always that's how you play as I'd love to get
- 1:40:57Speaker 9: a corectional inquiry question if you.
- 1:41:00Speaker 4: Take I'm slow Jane Lynch, my God should be on
- 1:41:03Speaker 4: question number three by Yeah, that's maybe about forty five minutes.
- 1:41:08Speaker 2: The hardest questions. He saves the longest question.
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: Interesting, Yeah, okay.
- 1:41:14Speaker 7: He just has a stack of questions.
- 1:41:16Speaker 3: Well just not just.
- 1:41:19Speaker 4: Greg doing any order. They're page numbers on this.
- 1:41:21Speaker 3: Just because it's in Encyclopedia. Statistical blame.
- 1:41:25Speaker 8: The question got breakfast last round and Sea Bass ruined it,
- 1:41:28Speaker 8: and now he's blaming Greg.
- 1:41:30Speaker 3: Yeah, people get desperate, more questions, more questions for another time,
- 1:41:35Speaker 3: as gregs very cheap, don't forget that. Well, uh, there's
- 1:41:46Speaker 3: a guy in Colorado who is suing Walmart. He says
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: he bought some raw baked to eat bread. Okay, so
- 1:41:56Speaker 3: all right, and uh it expanded in his stomach. So
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: he goes to the hospital after repeated vomiting, and he
- 1:42:04Speaker 3: spent three days in the ICU. They ran some tests
- 1:42:08Speaker 3: which showed a uh, you know, gastro intestinal obstruction. Caused
- 1:42:13Speaker 3: by the expansion of the expansion of his uncooked dough,
- 1:42:16Speaker 3: and the suit claims that Walmart covered the baking instructions
- 1:42:20Speaker 3: on the bread with a cell by label and so
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: as a result, he undercooked it. Okay, and his lawsuit
- 1:42:27Speaker 3: says it's Walmart's fault quote altering product packaging, no word
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: on you know how much this dope wants But SeaBASS,
- 1:42:35Speaker 3: I mean, you're still calling in every day for your
- 1:42:40Speaker 3: your your your jury duty. Right. He hasn't had a
- 1:42:43Speaker 3: report just yet at this point. I practice, I don't
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: think he's gonna have to go.
- 1:42:48Speaker 4: Early. Though.
- 1:42:49Speaker 3: I'm not siding. I'm not siding with this guy.
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: I'm not because if that happened to me instantly, I
- 1:42:56Speaker 2: would just look it up online. I'd be like, Okay,
- 1:42:58Speaker 2: I can't see what this instructions are heated at so I.
- 1:43:03Speaker 3: Have a cell phone.
- 1:43:04Speaker 9: I have to feel for this man, because uncooked bread
- 1:43:07Speaker 9: I actually like. It's My mom used to bake a
- 1:43:10Speaker 9: lot and I would grab some and I would eat it,
- 1:43:12Speaker 9: and really it is delish. I mean just like bread dough,
- 1:43:15Speaker 9: very not like undercooked bread, just just the dough a little. Yeah,
- 1:43:19Speaker 9: it's very yeasty and young num numbers. I don't know
- 1:43:22Speaker 9: if I've ever tried that what the stuff that Walmart sells. Also,
- 1:43:26Speaker 9: it doesn't look like just that floppy dough. It looks
- 1:43:30Speaker 9: semi baked. Yeah, would you call it half baked?
- 1:43:34Speaker 3: Baked?
- 1:43:36Speaker 7: For sure?
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: So yeah, good Bridge. I would not side with this
- 1:43:42Speaker 3: guy if I was.
- 1:43:43Speaker 4: On the jury.
- 1:43:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know, because he's a dumb ass.
- 1:43:46Speaker 7: He's a dumb ass, but he does have a point.
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: Like I get the labels messed up, right, you have
- 1:43:51Speaker 2: to then you have two options peel well look it
- 1:43:55Speaker 2: up or take it back. Yeah you're the kid. Well
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: I guess I guess I'll just cram this my whole.
- 1:44:02Speaker 3: You're the one that just ye deciding not to like, Oh, well,
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: I guess I can't do it.
- 1:44:06Speaker 10: Yeah, favorite, I think more more of my point maybe
- 1:44:11Speaker 10: is I don't I don't agree, but I think he'll
- 1:44:14Speaker 10: get the money.
- 1:44:15Speaker 7: You know, like that they couldn't see it. What do
- 1:44:17Speaker 7: you want me to technical county?
- 1:44:18Speaker 8: Right?
- 1:44:19Speaker 2: But you move forward? You it was like it didn't
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: have the proper information forward.
- 1:44:25Speaker 4: I don't.
- 1:44:25Speaker 3: I don't think they're gonna take this to trial Walmart.
- 1:44:28Speaker 3: I don't think Walmart cares that much to like whatever. Yeah,
- 1:44:34Speaker 3: that's and that's what sucks.
- 1:44:35Speaker 4: Yeah, this sounds like a professional sewer.
- 1:44:38Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what that that's what sucks because people then
- 1:44:40Speaker 3: will just follow file lawsuits knowing that whoever they're following
- 1:44:43Speaker 3: the you know, the company or whatever, isn't gonna want
- 1:44:47Speaker 3: to first of all, it's a it's a waste of time.
- 1:44:50Speaker 3: It's a waste of their time. So they go, all, right, well,
- 1:44:52Speaker 3: we're gonna end up spending X number of dollars to
- 1:44:55Speaker 3: defend this, even though we know we're absolutely right in
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: this case, and so they just settle. So the idiot
- 1:45:00Speaker 3: walks away thinking and they got one over on somebody,
- 1:45:02Speaker 3: which I guess they did. But at the same time,
- 1:45:05Speaker 3: it just sets up a precedent where everybody then just
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: comes forward and how much to make this go surgery
- 1:45:12Speaker 3: at least. Yeah, there's a thirty six year old paramedic
- 1:45:16Speaker 3: working in Baltimore. He's in trouble with everybody he works
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: with because he's accused of filming himself at work in
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: full uniform, just peeing all over the workplace. And when
- 1:45:26Speaker 3: I say everywhere, I mean everywhere. He peed in the
- 1:45:29Speaker 3: workplace fridge, he peed in a pot of chili on
- 1:45:35Speaker 3: his supervisor's keyboard. He peed in the coffee creamer in
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: the break Now, according to the core documents, they even
- 1:45:45Speaker 3: have this guy peeing on ice, wiping that ice with
- 1:45:50Speaker 3: the scooper, and then using that scoop to mix the
- 1:45:53Speaker 3: urine throughout the ice in the ice maker before giving
- 1:45:57Speaker 3: a thumbs up gesture to the camera.
- 1:45:59Speaker 7: Okay, so he went.
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: The cops say they have more video of him peeing
- 1:46:03Speaker 3: in a carton of orange juice hand soap in the bathroom,
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: and on someone's chapstick, in a can of veggies, on
- 1:46:09Speaker 3: the air conditioning event, and work a can of scented
- 1:46:13Speaker 3: room spray, and the I in the waiting room of
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: a doctor's office.
- 1:46:17Speaker 4: Like you name it.
- 1:46:18Speaker 3: This guy's peed on it.
- 1:46:21Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm cool with death penalty.
- 1:46:23Speaker 3: Yeah, he turned himself and he's looking at twenty three
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: criminal charges in a long list of other allegations. God,
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: what an idiot?
- 1:46:31Speaker 7: I mean, he is this someone that just like cracked.
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: No, he's just a guy who this is? This is
- 1:46:36Speaker 3: what does it for him?
- 1:46:39Speaker 4: Watches his own videos?
- 1:46:40Speaker 2: Yeah, he has enough footage for a featured film, you know.
- 1:46:44Speaker 3: I mean there have been there have been stories about
- 1:46:46Speaker 3: you know, people putting their like man seed and stuff, right, coffee, Yeah,
- 1:46:53Speaker 3: like coffee. Yeah, but I seem to remember that story
- 1:46:56Speaker 3: being more about like a revenge thing.
- 1:46:59Speaker 7: That's it's familiar, but you have to be able to
- 1:47:01Speaker 7: get it up for that.
- 1:47:03Speaker 4: Well, yeah, how does that work go to completion?
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: Because you're really excited about that.
- 1:47:07Speaker 7: I'm saying, like, how do you get in that mental state?
- 1:47:12Speaker 3: There was a man.
- 1:47:15Speaker 6: Speaking of coffee, Greg, you tried the new coffee machine downstairs? Yeah,
- 1:47:19Speaker 6: they might as well have stuff coming out of it.
- 1:47:21Speaker 6: It takes like two years to.
- 1:47:24Speaker 4: Forever.
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: Basically a guy in there, Joe and I had a
- 1:47:28Speaker 3: hold one second, I had another story in here. It's
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: like it was another one of these like get the
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: f out of here? Are you serious? Yeah?
- 1:47:34Speaker 4: Here it is.
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: This was in Indianapolis. I'm sorry, that's a different story.
- 1:47:40Speaker 3: High school baseball player caught peeing in the opposing team's
- 1:47:44Speaker 3: water jug, okay, and so some players even drank from
- 1:47:48Speaker 3: it before anybody figured out what happened. Now, police originally
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: charged a kid with battery, one count for each person
- 1:47:54Speaker 3: who took a sip, but now the DA says, nope,
- 1:47:56Speaker 3: it's not a crime.
- 1:47:57Speaker 7: Oh what?
- 1:47:59Speaker 12: In New Mexico, battery consists of the unlawful touching of
- 1:48:02Speaker 12: another person in a route and insolent manner. So in
- 1:48:05Speaker 12: this case, we don't have any touching of another person.
- 1:48:09Speaker 12: New Mexico doesn't have a statue that makes it criminal
- 1:48:12Speaker 12: for someone to mess with someone.
- 1:48:14Speaker 7: Else's food or pe in a water bottle.
- 1:48:16Speaker 12: While the act is gross and not right, it's not
- 1:48:20Speaker 12: a crime in New Mexico.
- 1:48:21Speaker 2: Yeah, sorry, hazard, Sorry, we didn't think about it. We
- 1:48:25Speaker 2: didn't think we would have to make a law about it.
- 1:48:27Speaker 2: That's probably what happened.
- 1:48:28Speaker 3: But if you can get if you can get arrested
- 1:48:31Speaker 3: for you know, throwing a slice of pizza at somebody, right, this.
- 1:48:36Speaker 7: Doesn't make.
- 1:48:38Speaker 4: Something.
- 1:48:38Speaker 6: But it's a bodily fluid.
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: Yeah, but you're putting into something that you know someone
- 1:48:42Speaker 3: will ingest.
- 1:48:44Speaker 7: It's because you didn't do it on them.
- 1:48:46Speaker 3: There was like a little lamb.
- 1:48:47Speaker 2: Yeah right, I'm just surprised. Messing with food is not.
- 1:48:54Speaker 13: A right.
- 1:48:54Speaker 9: So this is where this is where I think the
- 1:48:56Speaker 9: prosecutors could use some help from yield Ai, because yes,
- 1:49:00Speaker 9: you're right, man, it's messing with food is on the book. However,
- 1:49:03Speaker 9: that has to do mostly with the manufacturing and sale
- 1:49:06Speaker 9: and distribution commercially. Uh so it's still going to be
- 1:49:11Speaker 9: reckless and day you could do reckless endangerments.
- 1:49:14Speaker 3: Yeah, they'll find something.
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: Sound like laziness to me.
- 1:49:17Speaker 3: There are other prosecutors who are calling a BS on this,
- 1:49:20Speaker 3: pointing out that people have been charged for things like
- 1:49:22Speaker 3: spitting in someone's food or throwing peat and cock out
- 1:49:25Speaker 3: like a jail guard. Yah, things like that. But yeah,
- 1:49:29Speaker 3: this this thing did end the JV team in their
- 1:49:32Speaker 3: season early.
- 1:49:33Speaker 6: I'd be pissed, but JV, not even the fars.
- 1:49:36Speaker 2: What was it all for?
- 1:49:38Speaker 3: Maybe they didn't want to play? Yeah, like, dude, people
- 1:49:42Speaker 3: are people are weird. Well, we did like get all
- 1:49:45Speaker 3: excited about peeing and stuff around the office.
- 1:49:48Speaker 2: How's wrong with you?
- 1:49:49Speaker 9: We have We lived right across from the baseball fields
- 1:49:51Speaker 9: at Georgia Tech, and we would, uh a couple of
- 1:49:54Speaker 9: times we went over to the visitors dugout and pooped
- 1:49:56Speaker 9: in the little like places where put their bats. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:50:00Speaker 9: that's that's something they're going to see.
- 1:50:04Speaker 3: That's just fun. Way Yeah, that's that's just pranking it
- 1:50:08Speaker 3: in the mouth. No one's consuming anything. Yeah yeah, right,
- 1:50:12Speaker 3: what if.
- 1:50:12Speaker 7: The guy's superstition. Was I have to lick this corner.
- 1:50:14Speaker 3: Before the who's somebody on the text? Please help me
- 1:50:22Speaker 3: out here? There was just an athlete and you kept
- 1:50:25Speaker 3: seeing him like was he licking the bat? Was he licking? Like? Yeah,
- 1:50:29Speaker 3: there was just a guy. It might have been either
- 1:50:31Speaker 3: in the World Series or this guy.
- 1:50:34Speaker 4: People look at their hands.
- 1:50:36Speaker 3: Is it, yeah, famously licked his back between Well he
- 1:50:41Speaker 3: sucks anyways, but he's also in other trouble. He just
- 1:50:43Speaker 3: got arrested, I think over the past week for something.
- 1:50:46Speaker 2: He's always sucks.
- 1:50:48Speaker 3: There was something more recently where I saw some guys
- 1:50:50Speaker 3: watching baseball or you know, some some sport gambling. Was
- 1:50:54Speaker 3: it gambling two federal charges guilty stuff or just outside
- 1:51:01Speaker 3: Going back to the pe thing in high school, there's
- 1:51:04Speaker 3: this guy. His nickname was man Dick and as opposed
- 1:51:09Speaker 3: to and he accidentally drinks some mound deew that wasn't
- 1:51:11Speaker 3: mound dew. Oh god, when he says, I worked at
- 1:51:16Speaker 3: a Starbucks one time during a deep cleaning day, coworker
- 1:51:18Speaker 3: and I ended up finding out that there was a
- 1:51:20Speaker 3: piece of poop in the public bathroom. Soap dispenser, what hell.
- 1:51:24Speaker 3: We don't know how long it was there. We don't
- 1:51:26Speaker 3: know who put it there, but yeah, people really do
- 1:51:28Speaker 3: that stuff. Weap dispensers in places like that where like
- 1:51:32Speaker 3: those those bags and the bags kind of lock into
- 1:51:36Speaker 3: the dispenser. And right, I think it was like old
- 1:51:39Speaker 3: timey like you just had like a big old jug
- 1:51:40Speaker 3: of liquid soap. Must have been just drop it in there.
- 1:51:44Speaker 7: God humanity.
- 1:51:46Speaker 3: Food text us over to two two nine eight seven
- 1:51:49Speaker 3: more wood he showed.
- 1:51:50Speaker 2: Next right back.
- 1:51:58Speaker 3: Follow up. We're talking about that guy. The paramedic in
- 1:52:01Speaker 3: Baltimore is in all kind of trouble. He was just
- 1:52:03Speaker 3: peeing everywhere in everything.
- 1:52:05Speaker 4: Couldn't stop.
- 1:52:07Speaker 3: The workplace, fridge, a pot of chili, supervisor's keyboard, keyboard, uh,
- 1:52:13Speaker 3: the hand soap in the bathroom, can of veggiees, an
- 1:52:16Speaker 3: air conditioning event. I think it's just this guy was
- 1:52:19Speaker 3: peeing everywhere. Uh. This person said, when I was in
- 1:52:24Speaker 3: the army, somebody peed into a half empty beer can.
- 1:52:27Speaker 3: The guy came back and chugged it. Yeah, school a lot.
- 1:52:32Speaker 4: This one says.
- 1:52:33Speaker 3: My boy works at a jail and inmate was throwing
- 1:52:35Speaker 3: poo at him and got charged for it. He then
- 1:52:38Speaker 3: rubbed the poo on himself, thinking that hey, well, they're
- 1:52:41Speaker 3: gonna have to come in here and get me, and
- 1:52:42Speaker 3: I guess they left him in there for the whole
- 1:52:44Speaker 3: day and then they pressure washed him.
- 1:52:47Speaker 2: Washing.
- 1:52:48Speaker 3: That's so good.
- 1:52:49Speaker 7: How much would you like to do that? Drag pressure
- 1:52:51Speaker 7: wash that guy?
- 1:52:52Speaker 4: Oh god, you could cut your skin wide open. Oh yeah,
- 1:52:55Speaker 4: that's a powerful af.
- 1:52:56Speaker 3: So I went to a Catholic school, Catholic high school,
- 1:52:59Speaker 3: and people would hop in the urinal, and the nuns
- 1:53:01Speaker 3: would be so dumbfound it would call a school wide
- 1:53:03Speaker 3: assembly with pictures and everything, pictures.
- 1:53:10Speaker 7: They all mad.
- 1:53:11Speaker 3: Movie theater employee told me that somebody took a crap
- 1:53:13Speaker 3: in the auditorium during Avengers endgame.
- 1:53:16Speaker 2: That's fun.
- 1:53:17Speaker 4: Good.
- 1:53:17Speaker 3: I worked to see Jena's hometown of Kansas City. Restaurant
- 1:53:21Speaker 3: had to close because a chef was peeing in and
- 1:53:24Speaker 3: rubbing his junk on food and filming it. And what
- 1:53:28Speaker 3: is the compulsion for that?
- 1:53:29Speaker 2: Cool?
- 1:53:30Speaker 7: So mad?
- 1:53:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I did well, since we're talking about food and
- 1:53:35Speaker 3: doing stuff like that, different, completely different. I thought that
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: was an interesting stat Yeah, this stat here, Okay, multitasking
- 1:53:43Speaker 3: on the toilet, I mean we all do that, but
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: one in twenty five people admit that they have eaten
- 1:53:50Speaker 3: while they're sitting on the toilet.
- 1:53:51Speaker 4: How many one and how many one in.
- 1:53:53Speaker 3: Twenty five people? And here's what I thought was shocking.
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: Women more than men overall, but also women more than
- 1:54:01Speaker 3: men say that they have a snack while they're taking
- 1:54:04Speaker 3: a dumb so not even just using the toilet, but
- 1:54:07Speaker 3: like taking a dumpy.
- 1:54:10Speaker 7: I could almost see you doing this because you probably would.
- 1:54:13Speaker 8: I probably would because I do have to go to
- 1:54:16Speaker 8: the bathroom quite often when I'm eating, and then I
- 1:54:18Speaker 8: have to.
- 1:54:18Speaker 7: Put food down to go in and go to the bathroom.
- 1:54:20Speaker 6: But the food, right, I don't take.
- 1:54:22Speaker 1: It in with me.
- 1:54:23Speaker 3: That's pig behavior.
- 1:54:25Speaker 10: You're as I knew a guy in high school who
- 1:54:29Speaker 10: said he liked eating cereal on the toilet.
- 1:54:32Speaker 7: Really, I mean that was his thing on the toilet.
- 1:54:39Speaker 8: Why, I don't know, we're bringing a bag of chips
- 1:54:42Speaker 8: with us to the bathroom.
- 1:54:43Speaker 10: Like I don't even bring a closed water bottle into
- 1:54:45Speaker 10: a bathroom. Like you don't bring anything in a bathroom.
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: You can, you can bring like a mirror.
- 1:54:51Speaker 7: I don't want to.
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: It's like people who can't.
- 1:54:55Speaker 2: Yeah, join.
- 1:55:02Speaker 3: All right, thank you very much, Greg Gory. Would that's
- 1:55:05Speaker 3: gonna do it for Tuesday? Wrapping up Getting Out of
- 1:55:08Speaker 3: Here Full show podcast. Find it by going to the
- 1:55:10Speaker 3: woodieshow dot com or get it wherever you find your podcast. Yeah,
- 1:55:15Speaker 3: we're back tomorrow, all new show. Anything you got for us.
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: In the meantime, you can leave on the after hours
- 1:55:19Speaker 3: voicemail that numbers eight seven, seven forty four Woodie by
- 1:55:23Speaker 3: his follow us on social media at the Woody Show.
- 1:55:27Speaker 3: I'm trying to make these things quicker and quicker by
- 1:55:29Speaker 3: the day, okay, because I'm like, why are we dragging
- 1:55:32Speaker 3: out this last part, this last thing we have to do?
- 1:55:34Speaker 6: Question?
- 1:55:34Speaker 3: All right, Greg Gory parting words of wisdom please. Yeah,
- 1:55:37Speaker 3: diet and exercise is important, but so is revenge. It
- 1:55:42Speaker 3: is my favorite, right, especially the long play revenge. Like
- 1:55:47Speaker 3: there's something satisfying about a nice like kind of like
- 1:55:50Speaker 3: just quick hitter, yeah, but there's something really satisfying about
- 1:55:54Speaker 3: a good long play revenge. Yeah, because you don't know
- 1:55:57Speaker 3: when it's coming. It's like I've said with the Death
- 1:55:59Speaker 3: Row inmates, you're like, you don't tell them when it's
- 1:56:03Speaker 3: gonna happen. You just let them guess because their victim
- 1:56:06Speaker 3: didn't have that luxury. They didn't know that today was
- 1:56:09Speaker 3: their day. They had no clue, right, so it just
- 1:56:11Speaker 3: could be any day they have, like the clergy and
- 1:56:13Speaker 3: the warden show up one day. All right, let's go,
- 1:56:16Speaker 3: it's time, Greg, And then you get up and you
- 1:56:18Speaker 3: start walking halfway down the hug.
- 1:56:20Speaker 7: Ah.
- 1:56:20Speaker 2: I'm just kidding.
- 1:56:20Speaker 3: Not today, and you put them back in their cells tomorrow.
- 1:56:24Speaker 3: We'll figure it out another time, all right. Thank you
- 1:56:26Speaker 3: very much, Greg Gory, Thank you so much for giving
- 1:56:30Speaker 3: the Woody Show some of your valuable time this morning.
- 1:56:32Speaker 3: You know we'd love it to appreciate you for that.
- 1:56:34Speaker 3: The rest of you guys could suck it. We'll catch
- 1:56:36Speaker 3: you back here on Wednesday. Have a great day, s
- 1:56:38Speaker 3: MD double M. I quit this bitch,
