- 0:00Speaker0: Hi, everyone. Welcome back to the Eye Opener Society. Wow, we have got so much
- 0:05Speaker0: going on and no different with this show.
- 0:09Speaker0: A few things I want to get out of the way. First off, come hopefully December
- 0:13Speaker0: 23rd, and I don't know when you're listening to this, but right now today is
- 0:17Speaker0: the 8th, the 22nd on a Sunday.
- 0:20Speaker0: I am sitting down in the studio with my spiritual guide in life.
- 0:25Speaker0: Jen from MindsEye Metaphysical is going to be here in this studio live with me.
- 0:31Speaker0: And I can't tell you how excited I am.
- 0:34Speaker0: It's going to be an amazing show. I'll give you a little background.
- 0:37Speaker0: Jen runs a metaphysical shop, MindsEye Metaphysical, MindsEyeMetaphysical.com.
- 0:42Speaker0: And she's been thinking about selling Ouija boards.
- 0:46Speaker0: And i think she's got a little uh backlash on that because a lot of people feel
- 0:50Speaker0: that they're evil and all that we're going to sit down and have a real conversation
- 0:54Speaker0: about the ouija board and we're going to put our two cents into everything and
- 0:59Speaker0: we also on her facebook group page,
- 1:02Speaker0: she's also getting ideas from other people and we may use some
- 1:05Speaker0: of those ideas on the show too but here's the other thing that's so
- 1:08Speaker0: exciting about this upcoming episode hannah will
- 1:11Speaker0: also be in the studio and hannah will be joining us um this may be a one more
- 1:17Speaker0: time thing we don't know and i know a lot of people are missing hannah but hannah
- 1:21Speaker0: will be in the studio for that so it's going to be myself jen and hannah and
- 1:26Speaker0: i am super excited for this this is going to be one of those,
- 1:29Speaker0: great big episodes i don't know how long it's going to run but regardless how
- 1:34Speaker0: long we're going to do it so again i want to thank everybody for tuning in again
- 1:37Speaker0: i know things have been shaken up a lot and things are changing.
- 1:42Speaker0: And speaking of changing and speaking of Hannah and speaking of co-hosts,
- 1:45Speaker0: we are introducing a new co-host for the show, not as a replacement for Hannah,
- 1:51Speaker0: but just someone that I can talk to when I do these episodes while Hannah is away.
- 1:56Speaker0: You may remember her a while back. I was at one of these vending events and
- 2:01Speaker0: I met her and I loved her little business as she does, Tea Leaf Readings in the Valley.
- 2:06Speaker0: Her name is Jennifer Miller, and she's been on the show a couple times before,
- 2:11Speaker0: but now I am going to have her as a co-host.
- 2:15Speaker0: And I think her and I really connect. I think she has so much to lend.
- 2:19Speaker0: And as far as eye-opener society and our metaphysical aspect,
- 2:24Speaker0: Jennifer will be able to really carry these conversations out.
- 2:28Speaker0: So let's welcome Jennifer Miller back to the show.
- 2:30Speaker1: Jennifer, it's so good to be here.
- 2:33Speaker0: I'm really honored.
- 2:34Speaker1: And I hope people listen and if you don't listen that's okay too it's you know
- 2:42Speaker1: It's a little nerve-wracking. Hopefully, I'm not trying to replace Hannah in
- 2:46Speaker1: any way, but I still hope that people want to listen to me.
- 2:49Speaker1: But if they don't, I understand. It's not, you know.
- 2:53Speaker0: Yeah, I don't think, you know, with this audience, I know we have a very good
- 2:57Speaker0: audience, and I do know people do tune in, you know, to hear Hannah,
- 3:00Speaker0: because Hannah wears her heart on her sleeve, and she has so much to lend.
- 3:04Speaker0: And when she comes back, she will be doing that. And even if she doesn't come back for every episode,
- 3:10Speaker0: she may come back and really talk about
- 3:13Speaker0: some subjects i know the world has to hear based upon
- 3:16Speaker0: what she's going through so that will
- 3:18Speaker0: come in due time and i still feel
- 3:21Speaker0: that you're a great addition to this show and people should listen to you know
- 3:26Speaker0: what you're going to be saying and all and we're going to start off the show
- 3:29Speaker0: right um i had a topic uh that i brought up and it means something to me it
- 3:35Speaker0: means something to the scientific community i'm sure it means something different to you.
- 3:39Speaker0: We're actually in the cosmic universe. That's what we're going to be talking about today.
- 3:44Speaker0: And first off, give me your thoughts on it first, before I go down my road.
- 3:50Speaker1: Well, I actually have a degree in science. So when I think of it,
- 3:56Speaker1: I think of like wave function, quantum mechanics, the multiverse,
- 4:01Speaker1: like that's like where my brain goes.
- 4:04Speaker1: Yeah. Marvel comics, you know right
- 4:07Speaker0: I did just watch deadpool too so.
- 4:10Speaker1: That was pretty good i mean who doesn't
- 4:13Speaker1: love doggy pool like that dog is so ugly it's
- 4:16Speaker1: cute like so cute um
- 4:20Speaker1: but yeah like i watched a thing on it
- 4:22Speaker1: recently it was um wave function we yeah
- 4:26Speaker1: wave function is it the building blocks of reality and
- 4:29Speaker1: uh pbs actually produced it
- 4:32Speaker1: and it was it was really interesting it you know um there's a lot to unpack
- 4:37Speaker1: there but if you guys have the opportunity to watch it i definitely suggest
- 4:41Speaker1: you know watching this because it basically talks about how wave function um
- 4:48Speaker1: it kind of like works its way with the multiverse and you know
- 4:53Speaker1: i don't know if you have you ever heard of anything like that before or
- 4:56Speaker0: Yeah and you see that's why i wanted to bring
- 4:59Speaker0: it up and i wanted to hear everybody's ideas because on
- 5:02Speaker0: a scientific level yeah these cracks in
- 5:05Speaker0: the universe supposedly they do exist they just haven't been able to actually
- 5:08Speaker0: see them or at least not with the telescopes and this goes back to whatever
- 5:12Speaker0: you believe in as far as the big bang theory and it's kind of almost like earth
- 5:17Speaker0: and the earth's crust and the build up and there's different levels of it they're
- 5:21Speaker0: basically saying that the universe is kind of made up like that too as well.
- 5:25Speaker0: So I can take the scientific end of it and it's fantastic.
- 5:30Speaker0: Like you say, there's so much to unpack there, but I take it to a metaphysical level too.
- 5:36Speaker0: And I like to apply science and I like to apply it into my own life and see
- 5:41Speaker0: exactly where this leads.
- 5:44Speaker0: And I didn't even mention the cracks in the universe.
- 5:48Speaker0: I never mentioned to you because this is how conversations start,
- 5:52Speaker0: you know, why I bought it up or anything.
- 5:54Speaker0: It's just something that it was kind of a title I wanted for this episode based
- 5:59Speaker0: on things that are going on in my life.
- 6:02Speaker0: So we'll have a little conversation. So I'll put my side into this.
- 6:06Speaker0: Lately, what's going on with co-hosting and Hannah not being on the show and
- 6:11Speaker0: different decisions, things that are going to be coming up in my life,
- 6:14Speaker0: decisions I'm going to have to make.
- 6:17Speaker0: And, you know, there's some big things going on. I think the universe on a metaphysical
- 6:22Speaker0: level, it's all planned out, but it's planned out on all different dimensions.
- 6:29Speaker0: Decisions have been made already
- 6:32Speaker0: as far as yes, no, maybes, the different possibilities, they all exist.
- 6:37Speaker0: The multiverse, it's on all different levels.
- 6:40Speaker0: Life already came and went and all that. So I'm thinking every decision that
- 6:48Speaker0: I had made recently and the way I thought things were going to go.
- 6:53Speaker0: That laid a foundation right there in the universe.
- 6:56Speaker0: But now something happens and
- 6:58Speaker0: decisions that were made have created now these cracks in the universe.
- 7:04Speaker0: Because I was supposed to go in one direction.
- 7:08Speaker0: But now because of certain decisions in life and all, I can't go in those.
- 7:14Speaker0: I have to make new decisions now.
- 7:16Speaker0: So that's the building blocks. And that's what's creating these cosmic cracks
- 7:20Speaker0: in a personal universe. what are your thoughts.
- 7:23Speaker1: I mean i i do think that like yeah
- 7:25Speaker1: you have your your um foundation like you have your plans
- 7:29Speaker1: and if they don't work out you
- 7:31Speaker1: have to make other plans it's basically like trickle effect
- 7:34Speaker1: like this event happens and it causes you to
- 7:37Speaker1: go and choose this and like you said about um it's
- 7:40Speaker1: pre-planned um as soon as you
- 7:43Speaker1: said that i kind of thought donnie darko like
- 7:46Speaker1: you know how like how your plan is already just
- 7:49Speaker1: it's kind of just going that way anyway like that
- 7:52Speaker1: experience was supposed to happen and set you
- 7:55Speaker1: in that direction so you know
- 7:58Speaker1: it might not be the plan that you wanted but it's the
- 8:01Speaker1: universe's plan like you need to go with it just you know
- 8:04Speaker1: buckle up and enjoy the ride and
- 8:07Speaker1: and yeah I agree with that like you you uh you
- 8:10Speaker1: can make decisions and plans all you want but sometimes the universe just has
- 8:14Speaker1: other plans for you that you're just not you know prepared for even like really
- 8:19Speaker1: one thing but you know it's experience that you need it sees that you need to
- 8:25Speaker1: you know do this for yourself and uh
- 8:29Speaker1: It'll set you in that planet that it has already.
- 8:33Speaker1: So I do believe people have free will, but I also believe that people have that planet.
- 8:41Speaker1: It's just inevitable. It's going to happen. Maybe it's not the same direction,
- 8:46Speaker1: but you're still going to end up at the same place.
- 8:51Speaker0: Yeah, and that's why I brought this up because I just found it fascinating.
- 8:56Speaker0: Like cracks in the cosmic universe just came across my
- 8:58Speaker0: mind and that's usually how my mind works and and
- 9:01Speaker0: that's how i wanted to use it as a title for this episode but yeah there's so
- 9:08Speaker0: many different meanings to it especially when there's a real life meaning to
- 9:11Speaker0: it or at least a scientific meaning to it but everybody has their own direction
- 9:18Speaker0: that's going on in life but yet we are all connected.
- 9:22Speaker0: Like the Mandela effect, the decision somebody makes in their life that you
- 9:26Speaker0: don't know across the globe can affect certain series of events.
- 9:32Speaker0: And the way the universe, at least in my mind, the way it plays out,
- 9:37Speaker0: it's going off of your wants, your desires, your needs, but it doesn't always follow a path.
- 9:46Speaker0: You can come to these crossroads where you have to make a decision,
- 9:49Speaker0: but these building blocks of the
- 9:53Speaker0: cosmic universe they've already
- 9:56Speaker0: occurred and that's why decisions no
- 9:59Speaker0: matter what decision you make there's going to be a set outcome
- 10:02Speaker0: for it because it already happened and that's where these cracks come so if
- 10:07Speaker0: i'm looking at my life right now to try and make this a little bit clearer is
- 10:12Speaker0: i had a whole plan for the new year and what i was going to do and that was
- 10:18Speaker0: the building blocks to the universe.
- 10:21Speaker0: And that's what I had seen. But now with all of the recent events that are going
- 10:24Speaker0: on, everything has to change.
- 10:27Speaker0: So there was a foundation already built out for the one direction I was going
- 10:30Speaker0: in and that's there. That's one crack in the universe.
- 10:33Speaker0: But now I'm going to be coming up to making decisions and it's going to lead
- 10:37Speaker0: me into different directions.
- 10:39Speaker0: And those are going to be new foundations that are in this cosmic universe.
- 10:44Speaker0: So no matter what decision, even if nothing comes of this, And I go back along
- 10:48Speaker0: my normal path, that path already exists. It's already there.
- 10:52Speaker0: It's already a crack in the universe.
- 10:54Speaker0: Maybe none of this makes sense. Um, but I think that's the conversation.
- 10:59Speaker0: I think that's the fascination with the metaphysical and what we believe as
- 11:05Speaker0: human beings and everybody believes a certain way.
- 11:08Speaker1: Um,
- 11:09Speaker1: so like when i'm giving a tea reading i always say you know
- 11:12Speaker1: nothing is set in stem and i know that you're like
- 11:15Speaker1: uh the building blocks um sometimes when
- 11:18Speaker1: you plan for things and you have like this really big hope
- 11:21Speaker1: for it and it doesn't work out um the way you wanted it to sometimes people
- 11:26Speaker1: i know people get kind of bitter about it and get upset um i think the grieving
- 11:30Speaker1: process actually is a part of this in a way you're grieving the the um plan
- 11:36Speaker1: that you had and the experience that you wanted to have doing that and you don't get that,
- 11:41Speaker1: Like you said, like the universe has other plans for you.
- 11:44Speaker1: Like you, you know, have things thrown in your way.
- 11:47Speaker1: Like you say, you're just going to work, you know, any old day and a truck hits
- 11:53Speaker1: you. You didn't plan for that to happen.
- 11:55Speaker1: You didn't have that in your plans. It did.
- 11:58Speaker1: So like now you're going to the hospital, you have to get, you know,
- 12:01Speaker1: checked up and, you know, any type of medical intervention.
- 12:04Speaker1: And then you have to take some time off work that wasn't part
- 12:07Speaker1: of your plan either so like grieving um certain
- 12:10Speaker1: things as well i think also goes with cracks in
- 12:13Speaker1: the universe like grieving certain experiences and
- 12:16Speaker1: plans that you had but didn't work out
- 12:19Speaker1: and and that's why i always say when i'm doing the tea leaf
- 12:22Speaker1: for you i'm saying nothing is set in stone um
- 12:26Speaker1: so like i could be reading your tea
- 12:28Speaker1: leaves for you right and because i did that
- 12:31Speaker1: it sends you off in a different direction to
- 12:35Speaker1: something else right it could change everything
- 12:39Speaker1: that's going on um so i
- 12:42Speaker1: i do i agree with this the what you're you're
- 12:45Speaker1: discussing and saying um and i find it really interesting because
- 12:48Speaker1: you know even an interaction with somebody and
- 12:51Speaker1: it could be like the best positive interaction like you can feel so energized
- 12:56Speaker1: and um just really light-hearted and just feel great after this conversation
- 13:01Speaker1: but it sets you into a different you know plan then and it wasn't something you expected and
- 13:10Speaker1: It can have a good outcome it can have a bad outcome that's that's the part
- 13:13Speaker1: that's kind of crazy about you know cracks in the universe things that affect
- 13:18Speaker1: your life and in different ways and And I think it's pretty interesting, like,
- 13:23Speaker1: because really, like you say, you might have plans, but do you really have a
- 13:28Speaker1: plan? Because it's going to change.
- 13:32Speaker1: So yeah universe definitely is
- 13:34Speaker0: Fitting uh-huh and now here's a note to throw in deeper something i don't understand
- 13:39Speaker0: much and it's only because i just i don't think i have that ability or anything,
- 13:45Speaker0: and hopefully i'm saying it right akashic records your entire life um is all recorded,
- 13:53Speaker0: and a lot of people in a metaphysical believe in that and it's like literally records of your life.
- 13:59Speaker1: And that you
- 14:00Speaker0: Can read into these things. And some people have the ability to read these Akashic records.
- 14:05Speaker0: I think a lot of the cracks in the universe actually have to do with that.
- 14:08Speaker0: Like there are separate little vaults and different paths that you took in life
- 14:12Speaker0: and paths that you may have taken and chances that you could have taken.
- 14:16Speaker0: There's an outcome for each and every one of them.
- 14:19Speaker0: And if you could read those, that might actually help you make decisions in
- 14:24Speaker0: your life or where you have been or where you're going.
- 14:27Speaker1: But also what happens it could inhibit you though
- 14:30Speaker1: also if you think about it because you could be like oh this
- 14:33Speaker1: is already planned out for me what's the point you know
- 14:37Speaker1: and that's not a good that's not a good feeling that's
- 14:40Speaker1: that's a it's a pretty bad feeling
- 14:43Speaker1: when you're like what's the point if i already have this planned out like so
- 14:47Speaker1: i could i could do something different but i'm still going to end up in that
- 14:50Speaker1: same place so i mean it's interesting but it can also be kind of like damaging
- 14:57Speaker1: in a way i would i would think you know um
- 15:01Speaker1: Because then it would be like, well, what's the point? I'm going to make this
- 15:04Speaker1: decision. It's still going to end up there.
- 15:07Speaker1: Well, that's kind of, that's kind of sad.
- 15:10Speaker0: Yeah. Yeah. But it's deep. And I like that.
- 15:14Speaker0: That's, that's the discussions I like to have because yes, they are deep and
- 15:17Speaker0: people, they're on both sides of the fence. Either.
- 15:21Speaker0: Yes, we have free will. No, we don't have free will.
- 15:24Speaker0: I believe we have free will, but I also believe that everything's laid out for
- 15:30Speaker0: us for whatever decision that we make, it's all there.
- 15:34Speaker0: It already happened. There was already an outcome for all of it.
- 15:38Speaker0: And us as human beings, when we sit and just let our minds roam on this, that's freeing.
- 15:47Speaker0: Because a lot of people in everyday life, everybody thinks, oh,
- 15:50Speaker0: we're just getting up and going to work and then coming home, doing our chores.
- 15:55Speaker0: It becomes so mundane.
- 15:57Speaker0: We don't look out into the big picture. We don't look out into the universe.
- 16:03Speaker0: We don't ask the universe as much as we should be for things that we want.
- 16:09Speaker0: Positive thoughts lead to positive outcomes. And a lot of people say, well, I want.
- 16:13Speaker1: All these positive
- 16:15Speaker0: Outcomes, but I'm always getting negativity, but they're forgetting that a lot
- 16:19Speaker0: of that negativity, the things that are happening to you are preparing you for
- 16:23Speaker0: the next step to get you to where you want to go.
- 16:26Speaker0: I even struggle with this. I was like, why is all of this happening?
- 16:30Speaker0: Why are there so many bad things going on?
- 16:33Speaker0: And I don't take a moment every now and then.
- 16:36Speaker0: And I have to realize these are just lessons. I have to get past these in order
- 16:40Speaker0: to achieve what I want. The universe has given them to me.
- 16:44Speaker0: I want something out of the universe, but it's not going to just happen.
- 16:47Speaker0: It doesn't work that way.
- 16:49Speaker0: We have to go down certain roads in order for those things to happen.
- 16:53Speaker1: Right character building is one of those things also like
- 17:00Speaker1: If you want things to change, you need to be the change that you want to see.
- 17:06Speaker1: And I forget who said that, and I know someone's going to know.
- 17:10Speaker1: So if you do know, guys, let us know. Because I think it might be either Gandhi
- 17:14Speaker1: or Shaw or somebody that, you know, very important, that be the change.
- 17:20Speaker1: So like, you know, you're saying that, you know, people want these changes,
- 17:24Speaker1: but, you know, and they're always in the comfort of just the same old same.
- 17:30Speaker1: They don't actually think about hey, I could make these changes.
- 17:34Speaker1: I could You know instead of going home and just doing chores I could go home
- 17:37Speaker1: and just play with my kids because in a way that also changes their Their outcome
- 17:43Speaker1: their perspective their their day it brings you know,
- 17:46Speaker1: like what if you say cracks in the universe like Your interaction with them
- 17:51Speaker1: Might change their day too.
- 17:53Speaker1: So instead of just, you know Going with the humdrum the comfortable,
- 17:57Speaker1: you know stuff that's going on in your life go home
- 18:00Speaker1: and do something different it doesn't have to be big things you go
- 18:04Speaker1: home and just you know make yourself a cup of tea if you don't normally do
- 18:06Speaker1: that or like i said go home and play with your kids if you
- 18:09Speaker1: don't you know those chores will be still be there
- 18:12Speaker1: you know um but if you want change you have to actually do the change like you
- 18:19Speaker1: have to be the change that you want to see instead of expecting um your surrounding
- 18:26Speaker1: like uh people in your life to do that for you i would say yeah
- 18:32Speaker0: You're right and i'll bring up a personal thing.
- 18:35Speaker1: Uh
- 18:37Speaker0: Yeah, coming home and just doing something different and being that change you want to be.
- 18:42Speaker0: Not too long ago, a few months ago, just before the winter, it cracks everybody
- 18:46Speaker0: up, but whatever. Let your freak flag fly.
- 18:50Speaker0: I wanted for so long to have a monk's robe, quote and all.
- 18:57Speaker0: And I said, screw it. I ordered one and I was wearing it around the house constantly.
- 19:03Speaker0: And I was taking all the heat for that. But guess what?
- 19:06Speaker0: It changed me when I put it on I
- 19:09Speaker0: just felt different I felt like especially
- 19:13Speaker0: for meditation it helped me to meditate with the hood and all
- 19:16Speaker0: I just it changed my space you know and
- 19:19Speaker0: I was happy you know what that's all that matters
- 19:22Speaker0: if you're happy you're happy that's all it doesn't matter what anybody else
- 19:25Speaker0: thinks so yeah change a piece of clothing change the way you wear it change
- 19:31Speaker0: the colors of your wool anything and you'll be amazed you're either gonna really
- 19:36Speaker0: like it or it's gonna really change your life and you're gonna follow that path so.
- 19:40Speaker1: You're wearing the robe though like it brightened everybody's
- 19:44Speaker1: like mood around you because it gave them a good laugh
- 19:47Speaker1: so it trickled down cracks in the universe like your whatever
- 19:50Speaker1: you did trickled down onto them and made them happy right yeah so like i think
- 19:56Speaker1: people need to also think about that too like you go somewhere And you're like
- 19:59Speaker1: in a terrible mood sit in the car and take a breath because you're going to
- 20:03Speaker1: interact with other people That is going to affect their day.
- 20:07Speaker1: It could change their direction. It could you know, and it could be for the
- 20:11Speaker1: worst It could be for the best So like think about that. Um
- 20:15Speaker1: you know uh in a positive way or you know
- 20:18Speaker1: i guess a negative way if you want to but you're you're
- 20:21Speaker1: um you know cracks in the universe like you're touching
- 20:25Speaker1: someone else's life and it's changing their direction in
- 20:28Speaker1: a way as well so like the the robe you probably
- 20:31Speaker1: brightened everybody's day at your house wearing that because
- 20:34Speaker1: it gave them a little bit of a laugh and you know you felt good about it too
- 20:39Speaker1: because you were wearing something that made you feel aligned with yourself
- 20:42Speaker1: and with your meditating so that's kind of cool like you know it's it's a really
- 20:47Speaker1: good thing um when you can brighten other people's day around you with just something so simple
- 20:54Speaker0: I don't mind being the court jester and that's what the court gesture does you
- 20:58Speaker0: know you make other people's lives happy you know by making fun of yourself
- 21:03Speaker0: and i have no problem with that i,
- 21:06Speaker0: as serious as i take it as something as small
- 21:09Speaker0: as a robe i took it very seriously because I just
- 21:12Speaker0: like I knew my mind I had some sort
- 21:15Speaker0: of connection to it what it is I don't know the universe knows
- 21:18Speaker0: but I wouldn't have experienced it unless
- 21:21Speaker0: I actually went and did it so actually buying that robe putting it on and saying
- 21:27Speaker0: wow this is the reason why I kept thinking about it why I feel a connection
- 21:32Speaker0: to it it actually worked I put it on and I had that extreme connection to it
- 21:37Speaker0: So that's what makes me happy. And you're right. Yeah.
- 21:40Speaker0: I think when people realize, wow, okay, maybe it's silly, but it's making him
- 21:45Speaker0: happy. And then they're thinking, why don't I do something like that?
- 21:48Speaker0: Why am I afraid to make these changes in my life?
- 21:51Speaker1: I think we're so used to being in the comfort of our routine that anything else feels draining.
- 22:00Speaker1: I mean, I feel like some people that are so comfortable with the routine are
- 22:04Speaker1: dealing with some type of depression,
- 22:06Speaker1: some type of stress in their life, and they think, oh man,
- 22:10Speaker1: one more thing I have to work with or worry with or do, and so they just sit in front of the TV then,
- 22:16Speaker1: day in and day out in the evenings, mind-numbing because they just are so used to that, the comfort,
- 22:26Speaker1: not actually, they want the change,
- 22:29Speaker1: but I don't think either they know how to or they want someone else to do it
- 22:33Speaker1: and you know and i know that sounds kind of lazy but sometimes you're in the
- 22:38Speaker1: thick of it so much of just the comfort and the routine that you know
- 22:44Speaker1: you don't really think of just changing
- 22:45Speaker1: something up and it actually being positive in any way for yourself.
- 22:51Speaker1: I've suffered from it. Yeah.
- 22:53Speaker0: I think we all have. I mean, you know, that's the unfortunate thing we do suffer,
- 22:58Speaker0: but these cracks in the universe also determine that too, as well.
- 23:03Speaker0: We could continue going down a road of depression, all of us.
- 23:07Speaker0: And it seems in recent months, that's the way it has been, but it doesn't have
- 23:11Speaker0: to be collectively. collectively we just need to change our outlooks and that
- 23:16Speaker0: will set us on a whole new course and the universe will then provide for us.
- 23:21Speaker1: Yeah small changes small changes it
- 23:23Speaker1: doesn't even have to be big ones instead of drinking soda you
- 23:26Speaker1: could drink water um you know
- 23:29Speaker1: just little changes can affect the bigger
- 23:32Speaker1: outcome like if that makes any sense like just
- 23:35Speaker1: the smallest change in something could make you feel better throughout
- 23:38Speaker1: the day um you know
- 23:41Speaker1: reading a book water um
- 23:45Speaker1: you know like i said just sitting and
- 23:47Speaker1: playing with your kids or you know not turning the television on
- 23:50Speaker1: i mean i feel like turning the television on is everybody's comfort
- 23:53Speaker1: routine you know after work um and that might be the problem maybe you need
- 23:59Speaker1: to get more movement in your life you know or maybe you need to just read something
- 24:04Speaker1: or listen to music instead of like turning the tv on and watching like some
- 24:08Speaker1: horrible show like especially like a reality show you know right
- 24:12Speaker0: Yeah we we tend to fit like if
- 24:15Speaker0: we're in a certain mood we tend to do everything that's based on that mood so
- 24:20Speaker0: we'll read books that are based on that mood we'll watch movies but so that's
- 24:25Speaker0: why you have to break that routine you You have to create these newer cracks
- 24:29Speaker0: in the universe to better yourself. And,
- 24:33Speaker0: I don't think us as humans, we don't have these little discussions like you
- 24:41Speaker0: and I are having right now. And we should.
- 24:44Speaker0: There's too much where, oh, well, if you're depressed, take a pill.
- 24:47Speaker0: That pill is not going to really make big changes in your life.
- 24:51Speaker0: And it may change you mentally again because of the chemical reaction.
- 24:56Speaker0: We need a real reaction. I think we need to really make the changes ourselves.
- 25:01Speaker0: Everything is up to the individual.
- 25:03Speaker0: I can help you. You can help me. But at the end game, if I'm providing you with
- 25:08Speaker0: an answer and you are refusing to accept that answer, you're going to continue
- 25:13Speaker0: down that road and there will be no crack in your universe.
- 25:17Speaker0: You need to make that first step. You need to decide, is that the correct answer?
- 25:21Speaker0: Will it work for me? Am I going to try it?
- 25:25Speaker0: And that's what we need to do as humans.
- 25:27Speaker1: Yeah. I mean, yeah. I mean, yes, I agree with that. I think that,
- 25:34Speaker1: you know, like I say, the comfort of it.
- 25:36Speaker1: People sometimes just feel stuck, you know, stuck in doing the same thing.
- 25:42Speaker1: You know, I want to say midlife crisis type of situations.
- 25:47Speaker1: If you really think about it, because like in the middle of your life,
- 25:50Speaker1: you're so used to doing the same thing.
- 25:52Speaker1: Like when you're in your early 20s, you know, not everything's the same.
- 25:55Speaker1: You could go to the gym after work, you know, go to the club,
- 25:59Speaker1: go out to the bar, go home and play with your cats or something.
- 26:03Speaker1: Or you know watch tv like when you're in your young you
- 26:06Speaker1: know early 20s just out on your own you're definitely doing different things
- 26:09Speaker1: every day you're not always in the same routine so like now that i think about
- 26:14Speaker1: it like sometimes you know midlife crisis you're like you want to change it
- 26:19Speaker1: up so you want to put cracks in your universe but those that just kind of don't go through that
- 26:25Speaker1: just kind of stay in the same rut and keep
- 26:28Speaker1: going that way then then you know that rut actually gets to be so unbearable
- 26:33Speaker1: that you know that's when the midlife crisis hits type type situation so yeah
- 26:38Speaker1: even like the smallest little things that you can do um can help instead of
- 26:44Speaker1: just like letting it snowball into like
- 26:48Speaker1: something awful because i mean like you get up every day that's a really big
- 26:53Speaker1: thing that's something you should be happy about but you know we don't think
- 26:56Speaker1: about it and we don't have those deep conversations like you said because i
- 27:00Speaker1: think it's comfortable just just not discussing it
- 27:04Speaker1: you know yeah
- 27:05Speaker0: And i think again we've been i i stand by this we've been deprogrammed through
- 27:11Speaker0: life, you know, what we are really about.
- 27:15Speaker0: We just lost a lot of that deeper connection and we can still find it though.
- 27:22Speaker0: Again, the universe, it's infinite and it's got so many outcomes.
- 27:27Speaker0: We can change. We really can.
- 27:29Speaker0: And I like to reach out to the audience because yeah, you may be sitting here
- 27:33Speaker0: saying, yeah, I am in this rut.
- 27:34Speaker0: Why am I not doing something that I want to do? Why am I not wanting to take
- 27:39Speaker0: that step or that chance?
- 27:42Speaker0: It's up to you. It really is. Not me. It's not Jennifer. It's not Hannah.
- 27:47Speaker0: We can give you these ideas, but ultimately, it goes down to the individual
- 27:51Speaker0: and what it is you actually want and whether or not you're going to accept what
- 27:55Speaker0: you want and actually go out there and do it.
- 27:58Speaker1: It actually gives me an idea. I'm going to make a list of
- 28:01Speaker1: things that I actually want to do differently instead
- 28:05Speaker1: of staying in the same cycle actually i'm gonna make a list and i'll share it
- 28:10Speaker1: with you here because i think it's gonna be it's gonna be good at least five
- 28:14Speaker1: things i i would i definitely know i want to change i mean if i can make the
- 28:18Speaker1: list like 10 that'd be great but i think five i think that's a good start for myself
- 28:24Speaker1: It also kind of just goes along with like the new year's resolution type thing
- 28:27Speaker1: because you know 2025 is coming up I know a lot of people do the whole new year new me.
- 28:33Speaker1: They they stick with it for about a week or two and then It goes down
- 28:38Speaker1: i'm not going to wait till 2025 i'm going to actually make a list and I mean
- 28:43Speaker1: they don't even have to be big things that i'm going to change but I think that's
- 28:47Speaker1: a really good start for myself.
- 28:49Speaker1: I mean other people probably have different ideas of how um to start that um
- 28:55Speaker1: for themselves but for me i'm a list maker i think making a list would actually
- 29:00Speaker1: be helpful you know um but yeah
- 29:04Speaker0: Yeah for sure lists are great and that's how i live my life i like to like if
- 29:10Speaker0: i'm happy with something i'll continue to do it the second i'm no longer happy
- 29:13Speaker0: with it that's it i i have no problem cutting it off and trying something else
- 29:17Speaker0: and i think that's what keeps things original it keeps things fresh it's no
- 29:21Speaker0: different than this podcast you know keeping things different,
- 29:25Speaker0: changing things up when they need to happen. And that's the way life goes.
- 29:29Speaker0: And with that, I would like to thank you, Jennifer, for joining me here for sure.
- 29:36Speaker0: I really appreciate everything. And I want to let the audience know,
- 29:40Speaker0: like I've had conversations with Jennifer on my own time and some of them that
- 29:45Speaker0: like four hours long, and it helps me go through my day.
- 29:48Speaker0: She's got a lot to add. And as time goes on, I really, really hope that no matter
- 29:54Speaker0: what happens, even when Hannah's return...
- 29:56Speaker0: I'll still have Jennifer here in some way, shape, and form.
