Toronto Public Health has traced a recent legionnaire’s disease outbreak to a cooling tower at the TTC’s Hillcrest Complex—samples from the tower matched those of a confirmed case. Six cases emerged within a one-kilometer radius of Bathurst and Dupont streets, all with symptoms between July 2nd and 26th, but no deaths were reported.
