- 0:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what?
- 0:33Speaker 1: Here's the difference I never physically abused a coach, oh my gosh.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I was watching that and I was like if I was a friend of Taylor's I'd be like.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I don't know about this guy.
- 0:46Speaker 1: He seems to have some anger issues.
- 0:48Speaker 3: He's got some issues.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Right.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Girl.
- 0:51Speaker 2: It looks To be honest.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I've seen some of these parents at some of these high school games.
- 0:56Speaker 2: They ain't got shit on him.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Well, yeah, and that's the whole point.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Doesn't make them dateable either.
- 1:01Speaker 1: No, I'm just saying.
- 1:02Speaker 1: It just reminds me of when I watched the two of them, even though she's 34, I had no idea she was that old.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I had to look it up.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Wow, yeah, and to me they come off as like what you would see on Ring the Bell.
- 1:15Speaker 1: What was that?
- 1:16Speaker 1: The Ring the Bell show?
- 1:17Speaker 1: What was the?
- 1:17Speaker 3: Say it by the bell.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Say it by the bell, thank you, it looks swear to God.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It's like they're in high school, yeah, and there's a cheerleader and the football player and this is the episode where he's starting to take roids and he's starting to get angry all the time.
- 1:31Speaker 2: He's the AC Slater then.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Yeah, that's exactly what he is.
- 1:36Speaker 2: She's Kelly Kapowski right now, Right which one of the oh, what was her name?
- 1:40Speaker 2: That ended up taking, like the ADD medicine or the stay up medicine?
- 1:45Speaker 3: or something.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Jesse, yeah Was it.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and then she was in a.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Which one is she?
- 1:50Speaker 2: She was in a stripper movie.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Yeah, she was, that went over, well Not for her career.
- 1:56Speaker 2: No, yeah, pretty much like a turn for punch bowl.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Well, if this is your first time listening to the After Two beers podcast, that is literally what it's all about.
- 2:05Speaker 1: We sit and we have a couple drinks and then we just randomly talk about whatever typicals are fancy.
- 2:11Speaker 1: And on this week's show, I want to talk about falling asleep.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I struggle with it at night.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I can't if I go to bed at what would be considered my normal bed time, which is anywhere between 1230 and two oh gosh, yeah, when I lay there, I lay there, and lay there, and lay there, and some people like Amanda it's amazing to me she could be there in bed and within minutes she's sleeping.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Yeah, and I researched a little of this because this has been my life for my whole 45 years.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Really, yeah, sucks.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Struggle, do you have the TV on or TV off?
- 2:44Speaker 1: Off.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Fan on, fan off.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Well, the fan's on.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I got to have my fan.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Right.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but anyway we'll get into falling asleep.
- 2:51Speaker 1: And then I randomly found a story about the most common injuries that people get during sex.
- 2:57Speaker 1: There's like a list At what age.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I was going to say what age is this going to happen?
- 3:05Speaker 2: Because, I'm pulling a hammy Tanks.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Injuries are like heart injuries.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm going to age it and reserve.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I'm going to break y'all hips.
- 3:12Speaker 1: We're going to talk about that one.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Then we're going to talk about and I continue to see this in my timeline if the NFL is rigged and I really want to chat about this because this is hilarious to me.
- 3:24Speaker 1: It's hilarious, absolutely.
- 3:26Speaker 1: But look at Giblets, she's already turned it in her mind.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I mean, I'm going to defend it because it is rigged.
- 3:33Speaker 3: People are already saying stuff about next year's college for the Super Bowl already.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so anyway, I want to chat about that and I'm not saying I'm right, I just have my opinions.
- 3:41Speaker 1: And then we're going to do Giblets, and then we've got a couple A to B stories and then we'll call it a night.
- 3:46Speaker 1: But before we get started again, thank you for joining us on After Two Bears.

- 4:50Speaker 3: I was telling you on Sunday.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Define morning.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Right after Yacht Rock.
- 4:55Speaker 1: It depends how well you sleep right, oh yeah.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Yacht.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Rock.
- 4:58Speaker 1: One last favor that we have for all of you If you like our show, please share the show, and love to hear from you.
- 5:05Speaker 1: We get lots of listens from all over the United States.
- 5:08Speaker 1: A majority of our listens actually come from outside of our area, so like Germany lately.
- 5:13Speaker 1: That's cool For some reason, and I say that because every time I get to listen from somewhere, I'm like I don't even know why they're listening.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Well, maybe somebody we know stationed over there.
- 5:24Speaker 1: You never know, that's right, it could be that.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So anyway, that's the intro.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Now we're moving on.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Germans like to see Americans fail this train ride.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Well, except in World Wars.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Right, that's true.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Back to back to World War.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Champions, if they saw what we look like, they would not ask us to be in their war.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Well, we have lots of guns everywhere.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Everywhere, right, all right.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Now here's our first topic, and I actually I'm legit about this one.
- 5:56Speaker 1: And, on average, how long does it take you from the moment you lay down to go to sleep to actually fall asleep?
- 6:07Speaker 2: It's extremely dependent.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:09Speaker 2: I mean, am I?
- 6:09Speaker 3: turning off, putting my phone down and turning off the TV.
- 6:12Speaker 1: What's an average day?
- 6:13Speaker 1: What next Thursday, if you lay?
- 6:16Speaker 3: down Unless you're fighting 15, 20 minutes.
- 6:17Speaker 3: How long 15, 20 minutes?
- 6:19Speaker 1: to go to sleep.
- 6:19Speaker 1: All right, ok, 15, 20.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Mine's probably about 15 to 20.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Ok, I'm anywhere and I have to have TV on.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You do have the TV on.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yes, but I actually did do this test because JP is doing weird hours where he had to go to bed at like 7.30 because he had to wake up at like 3.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And so I legit I waited and let him fall asleep.
- 6:42Speaker 2: And then I went up about 9 o'clock and I was like, OK, I can't turn the TV on, which is my norm.
- 6:47Speaker 2: And that's normally what dumbs me down and gets all of the other thoughts out of my noggin Watch, something that I've seen a million times Put that on, but I actually I've realized that my air purifier has a really good white noise.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Oh yeah, there you go.
- 7:03Speaker 2: And I fell right asleep Right asleep at like 10.
- 7:07Speaker 2: That's very uncommon.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I have my fan on 15, 20 minutes.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I have my fan on that's it.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm a fan.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Only Lately I've been trying to turn on sounds to fall asleep.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and ocean sound.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I've been doing rain.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Amanda likes thunderstorms but literally it's like storming all night and the Alexa is right next to my head and then part of me is like I know Indiana like storm passes in about 20 minutes.
- 7:36Speaker 3: You're just laying here counting the thunder.
- 7:38Speaker 3: How far?
- 7:39Speaker 2: It's not even in rain.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Hit my window.
- 7:40Speaker 2: What in the?
- 7:41Speaker 1: hell is going on.
- 7:41Speaker 1: So it takes me on average a half an hour to a full hour laying there, unless I've over consumed that night or something like that, and so my Sometimes you might do that on purpose just to sleep.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I have I used to fight insomnia horrible, where I remember waking up specifically on a Wednesday and not falling back asleep again at all until Friday.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Oh, wow yeah.
- 8:08Speaker 1: And yeah, I had to call and work on Thursday and then Thursday night I went to bed and it was like 4 or 5 in the morning, I think.
- 8:15Speaker 1: On Friday Wow.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Before I finally got it off.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I finally got it off.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Wow, yeah, yeah is what it is, but my question, so this may not even apply to both of you.
- 8:23Speaker 1: So, as you're laying there, what are you thinking about in your brain?
- 8:29Speaker 2: The countdown, the countdown, the countdown, where I am like doing all the calculations in my head.
- 8:37Speaker 2: How many hours of sleep am I going to get if I fall asleep in the next 10 minutes?
- 8:42Speaker 1: You know when.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I have a hard time falling asleep.
- 8:44Speaker 2: That's what goes through my head.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I'm like oh my God, come on now.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I've only got like five hours of sleep now.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Yeah, but what are you?
- 8:50Speaker 3: thinking about.
- 8:50Speaker 3: I'm thinking about what I did that day and how I could have been better.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Do you Sometimes, sometimes, yeah, especially with my kids, you know, make sure I'm doing them right.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you sit and worry about your kids at going to sleep.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Yeah, and you're going to be a good but you're like, I only worry about about 15 minutes.
- 9:08Speaker 3: That's why I don't take 15, 20 minutes.
- 9:12Speaker 2: I'm thinking about all the stuff that I've got to do the next day.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Like a lot of times, what causes me to not fall asleep is I'm like thinking about all the things that I probably should have got done today at work or I'm going to have to do tomorrow at work or see you actually have a notebook on the side of my bed to make sure that I write stuff down because like all like I will wake up in the middle of the night and go oh, I need to make sure that I do that.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Well, I'm going to tell you, both of you are very fucking boring, I know, right, I looked it up on Reddit because that's my go to now on things.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Oh, you got to and I put in what do you think about as you fall asleep.
- 9:50Speaker 1: And there was tons of response.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I picked out three of the most common.
- 9:53Speaker 1: The first was I think about everything that I should have done that day, right, and I plan out in order what I need to do tomorrow.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's, they said.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I assumed it was a he, but now this is.
- 10:05Speaker 1: It's a vicious cycle of procrastination.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Now the second one was how much I want to have sex, or a fictitious argument that will never happen, but I always win.
- 10:18Speaker 3: You know those conversations you have in your head, that'll never happen.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Right, oh, have you ever had one of those?
- 10:23Speaker 3: and get pissed off at somebody.
- 10:24Speaker 2: My problem is you're going to be with yourself.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Why are you going to be?
- 10:26Speaker 2: Don't worry about it, I'm getting ready to say my problem is is that it's normally like, after you've had like a little bit of an argument or something, you're like, oh shit, this is what I should have said.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Yeah, that's, that's what.
- 10:38Speaker 1: All right, here's the third one, and this is me to a T.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I start imagining it.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Not well, not all of this, because it's going to.
- 10:45Speaker 3: OK, there we go.
- 10:47Speaker 1: The first line is I start imagining an alternate reality of my life and it's where I want another direction with important moments of my life.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'm happy with my life right now, but it's only the only thing.
- 10:59Speaker 1: It helps me to go to sleep quickly, because otherwise I think about real things, because of the choices I made, real life, right, it's like daydreaming that turns into actual dreaming.
- 11:08Speaker 1: So I lay there and think of just the most random shit.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Right, I mean just random.
- 11:14Speaker 1: And I don't could have done different, or no, well, that I mean honestly the one that is the worst for me, and for some reason it's always Sunday nights.
- 11:21Speaker 1: It's the stuff I didn't get done at the house that I wanted to do, right, and then I just sit there and think, oh, the fucking floor is dirty and I wanted to get that tile hung back up in the bathroom, and, and so I beat myself up on that.
- 11:36Speaker 1: But I did some research into what a good sleeper and you're both completely wrong for what they say a good sleeper does.
- 11:44Speaker 1: It says a mat a good sleeper's.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Imagine what it would like to live in ancient Rome or what they do if they had met their childhood crush, things like that.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So random shit.
- 11:55Speaker 1: That's what I think about.
- 11:56Speaker 2: All I know what I actually.
- 11:58Speaker 2: What works best for me when I'm actually really like, I'm like, ok, this is the last.
- 12:02Speaker 2: It like I have got to find some sleep is that I'll sit there and I will focus on my breathing and just like only think, like try to block out every other thought in my head and just focus on my breathing and do deep breaths, and then the next thing I know my alarm's going off.
- 12:20Speaker 1: It says bad sleepers are doing their taxes in their head, which which, after you hear the psychologist is laid out explains a lot with why some of us drift off on a cloud of idle imagining and others can never seem to relax enough for sleep, and that was why it was interesting for both of me, or for the both of you, rather, was.
- 12:40Speaker 1: So you're literally like thinking about the day, the day, yeah, you know and this is saying you're in to your point, you're getting hung up, or you could be getting hung up on whether or not I'm a good dad, Right, and that would keep people awake.
- 12:52Speaker 1: And then Kim is like whatever I did.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Sometimes I'm balancing ledgers in my yeah and those apparently so I'm over here.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Maybe I need to start doing work in my sleep, because I'm not going to sleep for you guys.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I would love to hear from people because I, honestly, I grew up in the generation with playstations, where you can create your own character and basically play in the NFL.
- 13:15Speaker 1: And you're late and I could lay there at night and go and what would it like to be in the NFL.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I swear that's where my mind could go.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Or here lately I've been playing sounds of like nature and stuff and I imagine that I'm in a tent, because it's just in the tent, right.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Is your bed that uncomfortable?
- 13:33Speaker 1: No, I love my bed.
- 13:34Speaker 1: It's just that if I don't think about that stuff, that I end up thinking, like you know, like the most random shit about work, and then it's it's not just that argument leads into something else, and yeah, because they talk about arguments.
- 13:47Speaker 1: A lot of the times I have those kind of visions or whatever it's.
- 13:52Speaker 1: It's not bad stuff, it's just me like living some alternative life, yeah.
- 13:56Speaker 1: And then the wildest thing is here lately and it helps if I've consumed, you know some other stuff.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I can Walk around my house from when I was five years old and tell you what was on the walls, what was in the curio cabinet and yeah, you've got to turn your brain off.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that's my problem.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I'd lay there and I don't want to lay there and think about it, right, but that's literally what my life yeah my problem isn't falling asleep necessarily.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Mine is actually staying asleep, but I think that that's also.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I'm at an age where I have we'll just call them electric surges of heat.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Age where I get five to six hours and I'm done you're up, like I'm up.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, mine is.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Once I fall asleep, I'm asleep.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, mines, I'm, I can.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I don't have that much issue falling asleep, it's just staying asleep.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's, it's all my own fault.
- 14:50Speaker 1: They say I should follow a regular sleep time, which I'm horrible doing.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Oh, I have an alarm set on my phone that tells me hey, kim, you should probably go to sleep now.
- 15:00Speaker 3: I yeah, thank you.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Yeah, such shut up I do what I want.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Dad.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Well, I'd love to hear from people that If you listen to the show and try to go to sleep, Let us know what works for you.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I would love to know and I'll be honest, like I've tried all kinds of stuff, you know, like I've done the counting thing, not sheep, but I mean you can count anything right and yeah, I just, I think I'd honestly come to you when you're counting how many beers you had.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Yeah, if.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I can't count them.
- 15:31Speaker 1: That's a good sign, and I know when I'm starting to fall asleep and I can.
- 15:34Speaker 1: This is how wild it is for me is I'll be laying there and I'll be thinking about something and I'm like man, that was really random, it's great, and that is basically like I was already starting to dream, but I woke up.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Yeah and I'm like, but it's so vivid to me and I'm like, oh shit, that's one of them pretty and that's when I get excited and I have to flip over at least twice in bed before I fall asleep.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Do you do a like a violent flip?
- 16:00Speaker 1: Well, I'm a big dude, so yeah, it's pretty violent.
- 16:03Speaker 2: JP like throws L's and it's.
- 16:06Speaker 2: It's always the most out in opportune time where it's like I was just starting to doze off.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't hit her, but I'm a side sleeper, so I'll start on one side, then I'll flip over to the other side and and I'm there about 20 minutes each side.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna start getting up and fall asleep and he's flip the right, and when I get to that third flip, I'm normally pretty good, unless I've got something crazy going on on my head.
- 16:32Speaker 1: And that's when when I was single and going through all of that in life, that's when I had a lot of my anxieties and things and that's where I used to turn on this same movie and watch it over and over and not really watching as much as I'm just listening to it, because you already know what's gonna happen.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it calms you down.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Well, that's all I'm thinking about, yeah, and either friends or how I met your mother, that I fall asleep oh mine's weird shit like the lone survivor.
- 16:56Speaker 2: There's like army battles the whole time and I'm bad like waking up and you're like, was that a snore or was that a gunshot?
- 17:04Speaker 1: You never know.
- 17:05Speaker 1: All right, I'd love to hear from you guys, let us know, and let me know if I'm not the only person in the world that struggles with falling asleep try falling asleep on your left side.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I've tried everything, so medically.
- 17:16Speaker 2: They say that that helps, like if you've got like acid reflux.
- 17:19Speaker 2: It also helps lower your heart rate and, yeah, your blood pressures and all of that stuff.
- 17:24Speaker 1: They normally say flip to your left my heart rate normally gets up just because I can't fall asleep and I'm pissed off about.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Right that's why you start like kicking your, like you do the hokey pokey, or you're like kicking your one foot out and I always gotta have a leg out.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Yeah they go.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:40Speaker 1: So funny.
- 17:41Speaker 1: We are creatures.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I have it All.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Right, let's.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Let's move on to something else.
- 17:45Speaker 1: It may help go to sleep.
- 17:46Speaker 1: It's injuries that people have during sex.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I found this survey online and did they ask people what sex related injuries that they had suffered from?
- 17:56Speaker 1: Have you guys ever gotten hurt?
- 17:58Speaker 1: Having sex.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Besides financially Well all right.
- 18:06Speaker 1: So 65% of people have suffered this injury at one time or another during sex.
- 18:12Speaker 1: It's carpet burn, another one, not so much anymore, but when I was younger and this sounds weird when I say it like that bruises 54%.

- 18:30Speaker 1: That didn't work out.
- 18:31Speaker 1: When I was in the jail.
- 18:39Speaker 3: No, I just mean you know what I mean to fight a ball.
- 18:44Speaker 2: I had like fingerprints on my butt, cheeks.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Have you ever had a bruise during sex?
- 18:49Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 18:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so is that?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yeah, all right.
- 18:53Speaker 1: All right.
- 18:54Speaker 1: So you both have had carpet burn and you both have had bruises.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Number three pulled muscle 39%.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Have you ever had to stop because, like you, got a cramp?
- 19:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yeah, especially the old toe boner yeah mine's always my calf.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well, I get dehydrated and I'm hopping up out of bed and like, but it's good for it.
- 19:22Speaker 1: It resets our stroke.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Sometimes you got a fake cramp, to reset it right number four.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I gotta assume this is more women than men 23% UTI.
- 19:38Speaker 2: That's an after thing.
- 19:38Speaker 2: You have to actually use the restroom after you get done.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so that it flushes away the different bacterias, because I mean everybody has bacterias but other like different.
- 19:50Speaker 2: It's in there, it's their skin, rubbing against your skin in places, and yeah, yeah, number five is 16% of people a back injury.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Accidental, yeah, yeah.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Well, I mean, if you're picking, somebody up carry them to the bed, or oh yeah.
- 20:10Speaker 1: All right, that's.
- 20:11Speaker 1: That's one of those.
- 20:12Speaker 1: You push through it like a guy in the Super Bowl, but then after that, your day-to-day.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I can't believe there's not like many hip injuries here.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Well, no, not yet dislocate a hip or anything.
- 20:29Speaker 1: They didn't know.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I didn't see that number six.
- 20:31Speaker 1: It's kind of a hip injury.
- 20:32Speaker 1: 11% vaginal tears.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Yikes yeah.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Slamming wrong hole like where they.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I hope not.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Maybe that's the first time, right?
- 20:54Speaker 1: Well, here's, here's five percent.
- 20:57Speaker 1: And this sounds horrible.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Hemorrhoids are anal tear.
- 21:00Speaker 1: There you go that one's definitely in jail.
- 21:04Speaker 1: That one tied for a seventh and eighth number, nine Three percent, and I just can't even imagine this.
- 21:11Speaker 1: A fractured penis, where I mean it is, it's hard did this.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Rodman suffered from that.
- 21:22Speaker 2: There never been like some changing of positions.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Well, and then you're like, oh, oh jammed it.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Yeah, most people are like you know, it's really hard to small, like fold a small piece of paper.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Alright.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I'm more likely to break my middle finger than my pinky.
- 21:45Speaker 3: You're trying to break my half pack of role, a two right, my tall stack of dimes.
- 21:49Speaker 3: But not a fur coat, whatever right number 12.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Maybe this one's Gibbler 2% a broken bone.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Broken bone yes.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I mean, there's fetishes for everything.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Now, in case you were curious, the most hazardous position is Doggy, it is.
- 22:13Speaker 3: There's when you throw your back out, or that's when the cream?
- 22:16Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Don't know how many times, I don't know some things I want to share, but like falling off couches, oh yeah, falling off the back of a bed.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Not gracefully fire play oh.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I remember one time AJ Just back flip, right.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it must have been something on your back from a tree.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Is that you?
- 22:44Speaker 1: What's?
- 22:45Speaker 1: What's the weird?
- 22:47Speaker 1: It so that the weirdest that was the weirdest.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Yeah, most uncomfortable.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Was it just on your back?
- 22:56Speaker 1: It's like Gator On of the other guys Carpenter just trying to rub my rub scratch like the itches what are you doing like a scooter, like a dog?
- 23:09Speaker 1: Lastly, 24% of men have admitted to experiencing some kind of injury While either giving, but most likely probably receiving, oral relations, compared to 16% of women.
- 23:26Speaker 1: So I Gotta assume for a woman it was well, that's the men, that's the men for sure, right?
- 23:35Speaker 1: You know, it's Grazing, it's easy adult women that get braces and you're like oh, you're gonna be single for about 16 to 18 months or I'm just kidding, but probably true.
- 23:49Speaker 1: The 16% of women, I don't know.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Is that like a tongue sprain, or Is that a guy that got too excited?
- 23:57Speaker 3: Heard his neck.
- 23:58Speaker 1: No, it's her neck.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Yeah you know what I mean.
- 24:02Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know, what I mean.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Lockjaw Are we going is just like he didn't know the code.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Lockjaw, he didn't know the code.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Oh man, I injuries to come shoot now.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Yeah, there, that is something porn has absolutely ruined for real life.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Once a money shot ever.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Not in the history of ever.
- 24:33Speaker 3: I don't care what they say.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Oh, ain't nobody excited when that shit hits your face, all right, let's talk about a deep belly button either.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Oh well, that's better than your face.
- 24:45Speaker 1: That's why they got me pissed off if I was a woman and that shit got my eyes.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Or my kiddie pool.
- 24:51Speaker 1: No, my beard All right.
- 24:59Speaker 1: I want to talk about one thing before we move on to giblets and I saw this this week and I am just but oh, oh people, I'm just amazed by people.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Yeah the question is is the NFL scripted?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Yes, okay, now you say that and I want to ask you about, and I want 100% sincerity.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Don't be funny just to be funny, for the sake of being funny, because we're not that funny, do you really?
- 25:23Speaker 1: think on a scale of one to ten.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I'll start with gibler.
- 25:26Speaker 1: How do you think, yes or no, that it could be scripted?
- 25:31Speaker 1: Hmm be truthful.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I know you've already said it once.
- 25:35Speaker 2: I know I'm like a hard seven to eight.
- 25:38Speaker 1: That it is scripted.
- 25:39Speaker 2: All right putting parts of it are.
- 25:41Speaker 3: I don't know if it's that much, but some of the things teams do in the offseason.
- 25:45Speaker 3: I'm just like you didn't do that all season and now you totally changed your offensive game, playing like yeah, but why?
- 25:52Speaker 2: and sometimes the like the referees doing weird calls and what you know, call that for everything or no calls, especially sometimes when it's coming down to the end and I'm not talking about any particular game, because I've seen it multiple, multiple times where I'm like they really wanted that team to.
- 26:13Speaker 3: I mean they can't hate my team that bad, can they All right?
- 26:18Speaker 1: so here's the questions, and this is why I think there's no way in hell.
- 26:22Speaker 1: It's scripted.
- 26:23Speaker 1: First of all, and this is arguably the most important one, right, you're dealing with human beings, yeah, and for something to be scripted?
- 26:31Speaker 3: That means every single person has to keep it a secret.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I'm just saying that sometimes things are thrown or Teams start Failing at things where you're like.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Well, it's not intentional.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Well, honestly though, when people have done that, what you're talking about technically would be like shaving points, and people get arrested for that I know.
- 26:56Speaker 1: They're betting on themselves.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I mean my gosh yeah.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and so here's one.
- 27:00Speaker 1: If, if the, if it was rigged, why would anyone ever get in trouble for taking performance enhancing drugs?
- 27:08Speaker 1: Right, because it doesn't really matter the outcome of the event.
- 27:11Speaker 1: No, right, it's scripted.
- 27:14Speaker 1: And then I keep going back to there are way too many people.
- 27:21Speaker 2: And they're so competitive like they want to win.
- 27:23Speaker 2: No matter a lot of those guys aren't that and smart.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Well, that's true right.
- 27:28Speaker 1: And here's the other thing, and this is why I know deep down that I know for a fact that if it were fixed, hypothetically, it could only be the refs, and that is simply because You've watched enough television, you know, and there's hundreds of players that have played in this league, that wanted to continue to play in this league, that are no longer in that league, and if they had ever been in on something, those are the first people that are gonna write a book.
- 27:53Speaker 1: They're gonna write a book and try to get rich off of it saying hey this is what's happening.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you know to do.
- 27:58Speaker 1: And then here's the other one.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I don't know that the players know that it's all that, scripted though they would, I think that they're at some point, that it is To a point where, like maybe they, I don't know- because I think, with the ref thing, I think the league goes hey, this game, this team is known to do this, this and this, so keep an eye on it.
- 28:19Speaker 3: But I think a lot of times they're looking for wells, not minnows.
- 28:22Speaker 3: They're looking for the big penalties, not the little stuff.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Well that's what could be.
- 28:26Speaker 3: People complain about.
- 28:28Speaker 1: And here's the other thing about it too.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Like what you're talking about, like it'd be hard to do Too much of it.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I mean, it killed me on a bet this year already where it was the two-point conversion in.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Detroit.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I missed the, I missed the cover on that because of that.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Right the Dallas Detroit game.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah and, but there's an example where I don't know that people would let it go through, just because of the billions of dollars that are now generated and gambling.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Oh, right yeah.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I mean, there was over I forget how many billion were gambled on just the Super Bowl.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Yeah right, you got a p.
- 28:59Speaker 1: I could.
- 29:01Speaker 1: It's so funny, I could just see it in your eyes Well, not your it's more of the dance you're doing.
- 29:05Speaker 1: It's the dance.
- 29:06Speaker 1: All right, go pee, and then we'll come back and we'll do giblets.
- 29:10Speaker 1: And I want to keep talking, to put in here, about whether or not the NFL is scripted.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Do you really think so?
- 29:15Speaker 1: When you're saying scripted, you think it's just the officials?
- 29:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know if it's the officials, I think it's when people see that stuff.
- 29:22Speaker 3: And they see stuff, well, they can get called this week.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Well, it's getting called this week.
- 29:26Speaker 3: I was like, well, I think maybe that's the NFL coming on to them and going, hey, you need to take a better look at this.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Well, yeah, but I I don't know that I would call that scripted, as much as you're just evolving.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Involving doing your job.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Yeah, well, doing your job right, and if I'm not, you know, my man just gonna come to me and be like hey, you need to start doing this, this and this the weirdest thing for me when it comes to the NFL, specifically to the officials, is they're not full-time employees, right, and you would think as much money is generated through that league and as in I mean these people, these, these, these officials aren't making a whole lot of money.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Right, I mean if it's so if someone was going to gamble the basketball scandals that where all the time we're on it all the time Refs were on the take right.
- 30:12Speaker 1: So I don't know, I, I don't think it is that.
- 30:16Speaker 1: And then the other thing would be injuries.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Right, you can't like the pork was a green leaf for, uh, san Francisco, oh, running on the field towards ACL, yeah, unless they told him hey, man, acl right now, right now, but no like, why would you?
- 30:31Speaker 1: that's the part for me that I struggle with is uh, we're like when Joe Thysman, they're like, hey, man, we're gonna.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Alex Smith yeah you're gonna might have a life-ending injury.
- 30:42Speaker 1: But it's for good TV.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Man, yeah, right makes for good television.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't get you.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Great, come back scripted, but I do believe that there are things that are called and Different things that are more beneficial for NFL bucks.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Well, I honestly think I mean the NFL obviously liked the chiefs making it as far as they did because of Taylor's head Drawn.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Well, yeah, million dollars, but I can't imagine them Scripting the end of that game.
- 31:09Speaker 2: No, but you want to tell me that the whole reason that Travis Kelsey wasn't pissed and hit like bumped into Andy reed and was yelling at him was because he was digging into his pockets.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Well, that's the last game of the season.
- 31:22Speaker 3: A lot of guys are hyped and ready to go and I know, but he barely had any yardage at that time.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Well, he only caught the ball one time in the first yeah, for one yard.
- 31:31Speaker 1: But that well, maybe he didn't read the script, Right you didn't get the script buddy Second.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now, if he had caught the winning super bowl touchdown, I've been like this shit's fixed, it's just done.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, gimbaler, are you ready to do a couple gibles?
- 31:49Speaker 1: I am.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Let's do some hold on.
- 31:52Speaker 1: I'd love to hear from our listeners as you're looking that up.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Do you think it's fixed?
- 31:55Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a ton of people I was watching, uh from the from the colors they choose for the super bowl.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I mean, it's already come out at they're at new Orleans next year and everybody thinks the colors are for, like, the Ravens and I think Cincinnati, because that's Joe Burroughs down, you know.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Well, they're both.
- 32:13Speaker 3: They can't play each other in the, but you know, joe Burrough won a national championship man, I hope he does, because, man, I got a lot of his rookie cards there.
- 32:25Speaker 2: No, but I mean like, even, just like, even at the super bowl, where when the 49ers scored there wasn't like a big, huge Woo on the TV screen but there was for the chiefs.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 32:35Speaker 2: There was for the chiefs, anyhoo's all right.
- 32:38Speaker 2: All right, let's start out with.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I just think we should start doing after two beers on just like, like a possible issues, issues you know, like whether it's the NFL or how many aliens are really out there.
- 32:54Speaker 3: It's curious theories.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Yeah, big foot, oh, I like it, I, I, I swear to get.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I swear, today I was looking up how many, how many bears Like bodies have they found?
- 33:06Speaker 2: like Chicago bears?
- 33:07Speaker 2: No oh.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Yeah, all right.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Anyway, I'm sorry, Good no you're good Squirrel.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Okay, we're gonna start out with this one.
- 33:16Speaker 2: So the vocalizations for Chewbacca Were actually inspired by a sad walrus in an emptied out pool.
- 33:26Speaker 1: That's so it was in solitary confinement.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Yes, well, this had walrus and.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I'm like oh my gosh.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Now I'm feeling real sad for that.
- 33:37Speaker 1: What an asshole, George.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Did you think he's like set that up on his own?
- 33:43Speaker 2: I have no idea, but my gosh, that's sad.
- 33:46Speaker 2: This one's kind of funny.
- 33:48Speaker 2: In 2005, costco, they sent out a recall notice for punching bags that were filled with used men's and women's underwear instead of sand.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Everyone that purchased the bag got a replacement in a shipping label to return the bag.
- 34:04Speaker 3: I bet you some people, didn't give them a Right.
- 34:07Speaker 1: They went and bought everyone.
- 34:08Speaker 1: They were cutting corners and sniffing them.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Oh my god, every time.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I punch it, it smells funny.
- 34:16Speaker 3: This bag smells funny.
- 34:18Speaker 2: This reminds me of my ex.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Now you know how to make punching bags.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Filled up with your old undies.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Men and women who like the taste of beer are 60% more likely to have sex on the first date.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Yeah, you are yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 1: That's why it's called after two beers.
- 34:39Speaker 2: That's why they had sex on the first day.
- 34:42Speaker 3: They were drinking more of it.
- 34:44Speaker 1: They got drinking and he got cuter and I really didn't care that he didn't have a job.
- 34:49Speaker 1: It didn't say anything about the injuries related, but yeah, if you got puked on during the act, would you consider that an injury?
- 34:58Speaker 2: Oh, have you been puked on.
- 35:00Speaker 1: No.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Oh, I'm like what you know that happens.
- 35:03Speaker 1: You know, that happens.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Oh not on purpose, but all I can think of is the 40 year old virgin where she's in the restroom.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Oh no, that's all I can think of.
- 35:15Speaker 2: When you're like talking about that, I'm like, oh, do you still go through?
- 35:18Speaker 1: No, she threw up shellfish and threw up awning.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's like we can still have sex if you want.
- 35:23Speaker 1: No, we're good.
- 35:24Speaker 3: No, I'm good, I'm good.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Go ahead and put you to bed there, honey.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Speaking of which, I want to chat about something we saw last night.
- 35:31Speaker 3: So last night we go to a bar here in town.
- 35:32Speaker 1: It's a restaurant slash bar.
- 35:34Speaker 1: I would call it strictly a restaurant.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Until I tell this story, aj and I walk in and as we're walking in, the hostess comes out and says, will you hold the door for the ambulance?
- 35:45Speaker 1: And I'm like, what a place.
- 35:48Speaker 3: And so she holds a door and I hold the door.
- 35:52Speaker 1: And these guys get out and they bring in the gurney and I walk in and there's a lady lay in there and now I feel bad Right because I'm like you know she could be hurt.
- 36:04Speaker 3: Obviously, the first thing that AJ says is oh shit, what did she have?
- 36:08Speaker 3: Because we're not having that Right.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Aj's out here just yelling shit like I'm, like you gonna finish that.
- 36:16Speaker 1: So, anyway, we get around to the story and apparently there was three women at this table and the three women that day had given blood.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Oh okay.
- 36:25Speaker 1: And then to say goodbye to the three women that day, oh okay, and then decided let's go have some drinks, so two of them.
- 36:31Speaker 2: It was their very first time giving blood and, mind you, when he showed up, this was the second time that an ambulance had been there for this group of women.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Jesus, so the other gal went home, they called an ambulance.
- 36:45Speaker 2: But now the second gal, so they have to have an ambulance.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Let's get back to the first gal.
- 36:49Speaker 1: So they called an ambulance for the first gal.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and the ambulance showed up.
- 36:53Speaker 2: They came in, they checked the girls out and and she drove home and then left and then no, she had somebody pick her up.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Okay, and then the other two are like well, brenda's gone, I'm not, brenda's gone, let's have a beer, let's go, let's have some more.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Let's have a beer, another shot, another ram and rumple.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Let's wait for her pizza to get done Well, but we'll get it to go.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Okay, why eat?
- 37:16Speaker 3: Can I eat this in the ambulance?
- 37:18Speaker 1: Oh, so the ambulance comes and picks her up, and that's the part to me now.
- 37:23Speaker 1: And these are older women, and the only reason I'm saying this is because I don't want to like say this is a millennial issue.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Right, these are women that anybody this is an adult should have known better.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Like the moment one of us goes down and the others have given blood that day, it's probably time to roll.
- 37:39Speaker 3: No, I'm going to start hammering them Because I'm going to need to do that whole thing.
- 37:42Speaker 3: They're already sending an ambulance, oh my God, that's.
- 37:47Speaker 1: And then I kept thinking this is how I go, this is how I go, how expensive it would.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Be Right, it's not cheap to ride an ambulance.
- 37:55Speaker 1: That was an expensive dinner, twice.
- 37:58Speaker 1: And does the first lady have to pay for the ambulance even though she doesn't get in it?
- 38:04Speaker 2: I don't think so, because I don't know that they got like any kind of bill.
- 38:08Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 38:08Speaker 1: How do they charge the insurance?
- 38:10Speaker 1: Not a clue.
- 38:10Speaker 1: It's an interesting one right there we go, you look into that.
- 38:13Speaker 1: The key is like you haven't come check you out, then not get into the ambulance.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Well, here locally they're like do you have Anthem?
- 38:19Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Well you're going to be fine.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Oh then, you can't get in.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Yeah, you're fine, just go ahead and eat some food, try to drive on home, and if not, we'll come pick you up wherever you want Finish your beer, we'll be fine.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Oh, all right, I'm sorry.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Keep going to the.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Ghiblins.
- 38:37Speaker 2: No, because, like I and I feel terrible that I made the joke I was like oh, it's just our new delivery service.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Oh, food's so good here you die for it.
- 38:49Speaker 1: I kept saying this is a great advertisement for your drinks, right?
- 38:53Speaker 2: Like we have people falling out, I'd fall for it Falling out.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Just laying there on the floor.
- 39:00Speaker 1: And then there's the other thing about Americans.
- 39:02Speaker 3: I just love it Just sitting around watching, just staring.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Just staring, no, just like just long neck and right, at this woman Just laying there.
- 39:10Speaker 1: I'd be like I'd be so embarrassed.
- 39:11Speaker 1: But I guess if you're that dizzy and light on your feet you don't care.
- 39:15Speaker 1: But right, but everybody just.
- 39:17Speaker 2: But they tell you not to drink after you've.
- 39:21Speaker 1: They tell you to do not do a lot of things in life that we do.
- 39:23Speaker 1: They tell people not do meth.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Well, that's what happens.
- 39:28Speaker 1: They tell us to live in a manageable weight.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Ha screw you, do what I want.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Well, speaking of which, let's go to our next Little fun fact.
- 39:40Speaker 2: So almost one third of London men are too large to see their own genitals.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Third, I thought it was just fat people in America.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Right, I'm like, oh, this is in London, okay, not in.
- 39:59Speaker 3: Tucky In London.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Let's see, oh, here's a good one, and the food sucks Right.
- 40:04Speaker 3: How's that happen?
- 40:05Speaker 3: All right.
- 40:08Speaker 2: In 1949, bb King re entered a burning music hall to save his favorite $30 Gibson guitar.
- 40:17Speaker 2: King later learned the fire was started when two men knocked over a burning barrel of kerosene while fighting over a woman named Lucille, and ever since then King has named every one of his guitars he's owned Lucille.
- 40:30Speaker 1: As a reminder, Can we talk about this burning barrel of kerosene Right?
- 40:35Speaker 2: How did they knock over a burning barrel thing of kerosene?
- 40:38Speaker 1: My question is why do you have a burning barrel of kerosene where people are playing music?
- 40:41Speaker 1: Maybe there was a lamp on it.
- 40:43Speaker 3: I mean, I got that little fist cuffs, it was 1949.
- 40:46Speaker 2: That was their heat.
- 40:46Speaker 2: I don't know, it was the 1800s.
- 40:50Speaker 1: It was an electric guitar.
- 40:52Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 40:55Speaker 2: It was only a $30 guitar.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Well, I mean, it was.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Well, yeah, back then that $30 guitar is low, $130,000 guitar.
- 41:05Speaker 1: They're like oh man, pull up the carriage we got to get out of here.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Fire done broke out.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Call the fire brigade.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Throw pills of water on it.
- 41:14Speaker 2: All right.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Well, I think that's all I've got for tonight.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Well, I think it was good stuff, all right.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Are you guys ready to do some news?
- 41:22Speaker 3: What do you got today?
- 41:23Speaker 1: We've got two stories this week, which is fine because we're going extra long on whether or not the NFL is fake or not and honestly like if someone's going to be faked in sports, it's got to be racing.
- 41:32Speaker 1: That'd be the easiest to fake.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Nice car.
- 41:35Speaker 3: You think, well, hell yeah, I mean hell yeah, hell yeah, buddy, I think it'd be boxing.
- 41:42Speaker 1: Well, obviously boxing, right, because somebody you know just lay down, yeah, but it was just like Danica Patrick that she qualified pole for the Daytona 500 and then sucks ass during the race and all you got to do is give her a different restrictor plate, right, and it's going to make the car go faster, right, Right, so anyway, but no, I don't think that's fake.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Don't take that away from me, it's not like that, it's taking away sports.
- 42:09Speaker 1: I got nothing.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Well, I meant as far as entertainment, right.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Hey Dan, looking at me like you, mom, I'm, not you baby, I'm not you baby.
- 42:19Speaker 2: I guess I'll be a whole lot harder for you to fall asleep tonight.
- 42:22Speaker 1: You're saying you never fake.
- 42:23Speaker 2: You ain't going to get any sex injuries, I'm not.
- 42:28Speaker 1: She's like last night was scripted.
- 42:29Speaker 1: I was tired, I just spent All right.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Here's our first story, both revolving around libraries.
- 42:37Speaker 1: No, the most outdated public institution we have.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Okay, I, you know.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Everybody puts these signs in the front yard that says we love our library, and it's like man, that's too.
- 42:48Speaker 2: When was the?
- 42:48Speaker 1: last time you went to the library.
- 42:51Speaker 2: I don't why.
- 42:52Speaker 2: When was the last time you had a?
- 42:53Speaker 3: library card.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Honestly, like I totally understand, like the idea of a lot, but it's basically now like a museum or for people that don't want to download stuff.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I actually like reading a physical book but you go to the library to get it.
- 43:10Speaker 2: No, I normally order it on Amazon.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you do with the book?
- 43:13Speaker 2: I just give it away or loan it out and because after I've read it once, I don't necessarily need to read it again.
- 43:21Speaker 2: The only thing that I've read more than once is like Harry Potter.
- 43:25Speaker 3: Right.
- 43:28Speaker 1: She's such a white woman.
- 43:29Speaker 1: She throws voices around.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Oh, I thought of the Tata.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Now I you know, hey, libraries to me, I don't know, they just seem I get the book deal.
- 43:40Speaker 1: It just seems old school to me.
- 43:43Speaker 2: I know.
- 43:44Speaker 2: But, man, I could probably save myself money if I went to the library and read these book, like Renditum or whatever you call it.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Check them out you can get everything at the library now.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Yeah, like you can go in there and use computers, you can check out movies, blu-ray movies, video games.
- 43:58Speaker 2: I was going to say it was probably high school the last time I went to the library, and that was just for research purposes.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and now you can do all that online.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I'm aging myself but, we barely had dial up at that point.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Get off the phone.
- 44:16Speaker 1: I need to do some research.
- 44:18Speaker 2: I gotta go look at the microfish at the library.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Look at the encyclopedias oh yeah, all right.
- 44:23Speaker 1: So here's our first story.
- 44:24Speaker 1: This comes to us from Tennessee.
- 44:26Speaker 1: A 25 year old man in Tennessee named Mark Cowart was busted last week for pleasuring himself in public.
- 44:33Speaker 1: He was enjoying himself at the Vanderbilt University Divinity Library.
- 44:38Speaker 3: There you go.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Someone watched all of them watching pornography and called the cops.
- 44:41Speaker 1: So apparently watching pornography is against the law.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Is it against the law?
- 44:46Speaker 3: Probably in the library.
- 44:47Speaker 3: It's not for yourself.
- 44:49Speaker 2: If it's.
- 44:50Speaker 1: I would guess Like if you're watching porn in public, I guess that other people can see it.
- 44:55Speaker 2: You have headphones on or no?
- 44:56Speaker 2: Maybe you can hear the hee, hee, hee.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Like.
- 45:01Speaker 1: I've heard stories of people that are watching R rated films on an airplane and then there's a kid that's kind of half watching Right and then the parent gets angry for that guy watching that film and even though it's provided by the airline Right.
- 45:17Speaker 2: So this is a guy that did not have home internet.
- 45:20Speaker 3: I'm guessing.
- 45:21Speaker 1: I'm guessing right now.
- 45:22Speaker 2: So he went to the local place where there's free internet, he might not have a home.
- 45:27Speaker 3: Well, that's true too.
- 45:27Speaker 3: That's true too.
- 45:29Speaker 1: I mean Desperate Times called for desperate measures.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Hey man, what did you gotta do?
- 45:32Speaker 1: He's like I had to take matters into my own hands.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Literally, and then there was matter in his hands.
- 45:38Speaker 1: When they arrived, Mark was caught in the act and he wasn't being very covert about it and officer tried to pull his hands away to cuff him.
- 45:46Speaker 1: But Mark was able to slip away because he had lube on his hands there you go.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Oh my God, he was lathered up.
- 45:54Speaker 3: Now is that considered an injury too?
- 45:56Speaker 3: I was trying to tease you.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Don't tease me, bro Good.
- 46:04Speaker 2: He can just slip out of those handcuffs on his own.
- 46:07Speaker 1: That's so gross.
- 46:08Speaker 1: This is something as a cop you're like.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Man pull your pants up.
- 46:13Speaker 3: Do I have to do this one.
- 46:19Speaker 1: You don't have anything that's going to poke me do you?
- 46:22Speaker 3: You ain't got any weapons on you this is a ball mass dude.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Yeah, just this deal.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Oh my God, they finally arrested him and he admitted to it.
- 46:30Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know how you deny it.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Yeah, he was also.
- 46:33Speaker 2: How about this hand?
- 46:34Speaker 3: down, he's got a red handed.
- 46:37Speaker 3: How about that dick get?
- 46:39Speaker 1: in my hand.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Or a white handed Whatever.
- 46:45Speaker 1: He said can I finish?
- 46:45Speaker 1: If I'm going to get in trouble.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Can I have a cigarette?
- 46:50Speaker 3: Who's the good cop, who's the bad cop?
- 46:53Speaker 1: They finally arrested.
- 46:54Speaker 1: I already said that part officers.
- 46:57Speaker 1: All right, here I go again.
- 46:58Speaker 1: He was probably high on something.
- 47:00Speaker 1: The story says officers found an M&M's tube near the computer which had a glass pipe and tobacco inside it.
- 47:07Speaker 2: And an M&M's tube.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Well, I'm not even.
- 47:10Speaker 1: That's just being ingenious.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Here's my problem.
- 47:13Speaker 1: If I had ever smoked marijuana, let's say hypothetically I smoked marijuana- Right.
- 47:19Speaker 1: I would never get high enough to think I'm gonna go yank it in the library.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Right, but I'm gonna take my pipe with me.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Well, that yeah.
- 47:28Speaker 1: I mean the whole point is is they're really making the tobacco out like?
- 47:32Speaker 3: come on now, let's let shit's punch with something.
- 47:34Speaker 3: Yeah, let's go ahead, something good.
- 47:37Speaker 1: I didn't know you like to get wet.
- 47:39Speaker 2: No, yeah, that's what you say.
- 47:42Speaker 1: The wise is sparkling Death.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Oh death I got shit to do.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Today.
- 47:48Speaker 1: He was charged with public indecency, resisting arrest and trespassing.
- 47:54Speaker 3: Come on.
- 47:55Speaker 3: You think he's loud back?
- 47:56Speaker 2: He didn't have a card, he did not have a library.
- 47:59Speaker 3: You buy a card, you can go back.
- 48:01Speaker 3: He wouldn't have had trespassing.
- 48:02Speaker 3: Tell your friends about us, oh man.
- 48:08Speaker 1: They should have an area where you can go do that like check out a little area.
- 48:11Speaker 1: It's like a no.
- 48:13Speaker 1: No, yeah, they have that, it's called Roxie's.
- 48:16Speaker 3: They did.
- 48:18Speaker 1: It's called all those truck stops that you pass every time you're traveling through Kentucky and it's like adult superstore and yeah, but and you're like.
- 48:26Speaker 1: You know, the floors in that place are sticky.
- 48:29Speaker 3: I'm sure they keep it clean.
- 48:32Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 48:33Speaker 2: A friend of mine used to work at a truck stop and he he was talking about he's like oh man, we had to have the cops in there in the showers and everything else so many times because it's weird stuff going on.
- 48:44Speaker 2: I'm like man, I need to know all these stories.
- 48:47Speaker 1: I was talking about the adult bookstores, but you know it's great.
- 48:50Speaker 2: It's a truck stop.
- 48:51Speaker 2: She's talking about love.
- 48:53Speaker 2: They call it.
- 48:54Speaker 2: She's like they call it loves.
- 48:56Speaker 3: For some reason, right it's for a reason man love.
- 49:00Speaker 1: It's like I couldn't find the library, so I found this Basically the same thing.
- 49:04Speaker 1: I mean they got showers and everything.
- 49:06Speaker 1: Everything get cleaned up, All right Numbers.
- 49:09Speaker 1: There's our second story.
- 49:10Speaker 1: A 29 year old man in Ohio named Carnell Gittens was arrested for trespassing outside of a library in Sandusky.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Again no library cart.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Right, it doesn't sound like he was snooping or trying to break in or even vandalizing the place.
- 49:27Speaker 1: He was just charging his phone on an exterior power outlet.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Still, it was one 20 in the morning and he wasn't supposed to be there.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Who says he wasn't supposed to be there, right?
- 49:38Speaker 3: Where else is he going to go?
- 49:39Speaker 1: Don't allow to charge your shit at 120.
- 49:41Speaker 3: It's an outside socket.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Right, I see people doing it downtown all the time yeah.
- 49:47Speaker 1: And there was a homeless guy that lived downtown, that lived up in one of the building areas and people are fucking cheap enough to go on like spoke out Richmond and they're bitching him under like he's using up all the cities electricity.
- 50:01Speaker 1: I'm like what's up?
- 50:02Speaker 1: He's not back there running like a chicken?
- 50:05Speaker 3: He's not running a meth lab.
- 50:06Speaker 3: He's charging his phone Right, or he?
- 50:09Speaker 1: might be having a little heater run and even then it's like God damn, don't have any humanity for human beings.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Anyway, the police spotted him.
- 50:18Speaker 1: He said it was cool.
- 50:19Speaker 1: This is my favorite part of the story.
- 50:20Speaker 1: It's cool.
- 50:21Speaker 1: It's cool because he had cleared it with a higher power first.
- 50:24Speaker 1: He told the cops, and I quote I checked with Christ, he gave me permission to be at the library after hours and I got to be honest with you.
- 50:33Speaker 1: If you're a person that believes in the Holy Lord in that way, I mean everything is God's will Higher being God's will, man, it's God's will.
- 50:40Speaker 1: God didn't want him there.
- 50:41Speaker 1: He wouldn't have put electricity in.
- 50:43Speaker 3: Right, he wouldn't have put that socket right there, right, he wouldn't have known he needed that.
- 50:47Speaker 2: Now he needed a light from his phone to read the Bible Apparently.
- 50:51Speaker 3: Exactly he's reading.
- 50:52Speaker 1: That's what he was reading on his phone Bible verse yeah, according to police, carnell goes by the nickname Cloud.
- 50:59Speaker 1: I had a cloud comment on our show one time.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Yeah, she was not a fan.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I don't need to worry about it because she's clearly not listening anymore.
- 51:07Speaker 1: No, apparently I'm a sojournist.
- 51:09Speaker 1: This was back during the whole Lizzo era.
- 51:11Speaker 1: What?
- 51:13Speaker 3: We had an issue with Lizzo.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Yeah Well, her McDonald's meal, apparently.
- 51:18Speaker 1: You remember that which?
- 51:19Speaker 3: was totally fake, exactly, but people have problems with it.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Yeah Well, you know that just shows you've got nothing in life going on.
- 51:27Speaker 1: That's important that you've got time to worry about a meme that was posted on a memes page.
- 51:31Speaker 3: When she sleeps at night.
- 51:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm not wondering how long she was there.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Anyway, carnell goes by the nickname Cloud, so they charge Cloud with criminal trespassing.
- 51:42Speaker 1: How can you charge I?
- 51:43Speaker 1: Just I don't see it either.
- 51:45Speaker 2: It's a public venue.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Yeah, just to be anyway.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Just tell me move along.
- 51:52Speaker 3: I can't believe that Jesus why?
- 51:53Speaker 2: would you arrest them?
- 51:55Speaker 2: You just tell them to move along and then go on with your business.
- 51:58Speaker 2: What else do you have going on that you have to arrest this person?
- 52:02Speaker 1: Right they, especially when the Lord gave him permission.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Right, the Lord said man.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Fucking atheist cops.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Get your believing ass in the back.
- 52:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, go on now.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, scared.
- 52:21Speaker 2: We're here to we're here to serve you a message.
- 52:23Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Yeah, god, let us know that you were down here charging.
- 52:27Speaker 1: He said you need to come with us, get a free meal in the morning.
- 52:30Speaker 3: We even better so you don't mean that.
- 52:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Come on cloud when the cops know you by your nickname.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Right, you know I don't know that this was his first.
- 52:39Speaker 1: It's probably not his first time, his worst incident either Right.
- 52:43Speaker 1: Can you?
- 52:43Speaker 1: I've never been arrested in my life, but I can't imagine getting arrested for charging a phone Right.
- 52:49Speaker 1: That just seems and one like he broke into the place.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Right, he was just sitting there, I'm sure, sitting on the ground charging his phone.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Now, I did see, so I worked downtown and I did see somebody charging their phone.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Did you call the cops?
- 53:02Speaker 2: No.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Why not?
- 53:03Speaker 2: These people did not until her and her boo started fist fighting in front of their business and I was like, oh, now we probably ought to call the cops.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Now we probably ought to.
- 53:13Speaker 1: How long did you wait?
- 53:15Speaker 1: Did you like you guys like start putting money on it?
- 53:17Speaker 1: She like oh, this is good.
- 53:19Speaker 2: No, but I was like why didn't she use a right hook?
- 53:21Speaker 2: No, I'm kidding.
- 53:21Speaker 2: Kick him in the jaw, but I mean I was like I seriously was more worried about her own well-being because then after they got into a fist fight like a legit fist fight, yeah then they jumped into a truck together and I was like oh, maybe it's foreplay, maybe this one that means she left her cord but took her phone Right.
- 53:42Speaker 2: You should have yelled twist him in the deck, grab his dick and twister Grab his dick and twister.
- 53:51Speaker 2: You know why.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Give him an injury?
- 53:56Speaker 1: Oh, all right.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Well, that's our second week back.
- 54:01Speaker 1: I'm still debating whether or not to do video.
- 54:05Speaker 1: It's so much more work.
- 54:06Speaker 1: I'm thinking about trying to find an app that we can load this in and it will generate cartoon characters.
- 54:12Speaker 3: Oh, that would be a blast and it was just like our.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it'd be just us that way, and then I don't have to worry about cutting audio and all that kind of stuff.
- 54:22Speaker 2: I would have to actually put jeans on instead of sweatpants.
- 54:26Speaker 1: I'm like don't people gonna be like she's sitting around naked?
- 54:31Speaker 2: I said sweatpants.
- 54:34Speaker 1: I'd have to put my bra on.
- 54:35Speaker 1: I ain't doing it.
- 54:37Speaker 1: No, all right.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Well again, thank you all very much for listening to the show.
- 54:41Speaker 1: Hope you enjoy it and remember to look on our Facebook page for our trivia dates Depending.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I would tell you that we're doing one tomorrow, but this clearly isn't going to get released tomorrow.
- 54:50Speaker 3: Right.
- 54:50Speaker 1: And it was funny because I released our episode on Monday talking about the Super Bowl and I'm like, well, this was stupid, but you know, hey, it is what it is.
- 55:01Speaker 1: But if you like the show again, please just share it, review it, rate it and all those kinds of things.
- 55:07Speaker 1: It just helps us with getting viewed in public and I don't know that I've got anything else.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Well, you know, if life has got you down, maybe because you thought that the sport that you loved your whole life is now fucking fixed and can't fall asleep.
- 55:22Speaker 1: You can't sleep, but if you're struggling, just know that there's others out there struggling as well, and especially during moments like I was talking about earlier with insomnia and things.
- 55:31Speaker 1: We all go through shit, and so if you see someone in your life you feel like they might be struggling, just know that they probably are and just reach out to them, just ask them yeah, hey, what's up?
- 55:42Speaker 1: Come over and watch football game with me.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Let's not putting money on it, because AJ owes me $25 for a better place, but she, conveniently, is like I better be going to bed now and I'm out.
- 55:54Speaker 3: No payment.
- 55:55Speaker 1: But check on people.
- 55:57Speaker 1: Yes, now more than ever.
- 55:58Speaker 1: I mean, it's a hard life we live in and we talk about how soft some of these kids get, but they also are subjected to looking at the lives of others through social media, growing up and everything looks hunky-dory and when reality knows, we all know our houses are dirty and and no one lives in the perfect house or gets to go on the perfect vacation.
- 56:18Speaker 1: So it is what it is.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Just check on people.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Be kind.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Yes, all right.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Well, I guess, putting Gibler without further ado, I guess we'll talk to him all next time after two beers
