- 0:09Speaker 2: the world ransom for Wayne.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Yanny, excuse me while I whip this out shoot broadcasting
- 0:16Speaker 3: live and it led her to a chat. This this
- 0:19Speaker 3: is the Sports Shock Show with Wayne Candy. You may began,
- 0:25Speaker 3: do me up?
- 0:25Speaker 4: Dang, can you win me yet?
- 0:27Speaker 1: You frank me?
- 0:29Speaker 4: Tell dot Com to film, come to Pryet, I come
- 0:32Speaker 4: to Mark.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Is it just down?
- 0:38Speaker 4: I'm gonna do it, Bain, I'm gonna go on the
- 0:40Speaker 4: way you vegan.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. I've been listening to the Sports Shock Show.
- 0:49Speaker 3: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Candy. And for the first
- 0:53Speaker 3: time in this month of July. If you've been listening
- 0:58Speaker 3: to the show, I have my voice back. Y'all just
- 1:01Speaker 3: didn't know it. It's for a shockman sick for like
- 1:03Speaker 3: a month. Y'all. Y'all haven't heard the cracks when I
- 1:09Speaker 3: go to Welcome, Welcome, Well, I was barely getting them out.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Last week was I was rarely getting them out? Last
- 1:16Speaker 3: week was time. I was doing like Justin. I was
- 1:18Speaker 3: doing like Justin Timberlay. Get to a park and just
- 1:22Speaker 3: let the crowd do. Yeah. Yeah, y'a ever been to
- 1:24Speaker 3: one of them a concert. Yeah, and you realize I
- 1:27Speaker 3: went to Jenna Jackson concert about two years ago, same thing.
- 1:30Speaker 3: It's all for you, sat I went to an Art
- 1:33Speaker 3: Telly concert years back, and you could tell either. You know,
- 1:39Speaker 3: some days I'm just not with it, right. I think
- 1:42Speaker 3: people sometimes with performance, people don't get that one of
- 1:46Speaker 3: the big hurdles is trying to be at that level
- 1:50Speaker 3: all the time at that time. That's why some of
- 1:52Speaker 3: the entertaining music and actors and those people Broadway stars,
- 1:57Speaker 3: you start, if you really went to blood testing them,
- 2:00Speaker 3: you would find a lot of cocaine in their system. Allegedly. No,
- 2:04Speaker 3: allegedly no, I've actually witnessed that. But we not judging
- 2:07Speaker 3: because we didn't know had a little cocaine than us.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Am I right, we didn't know I had a little bookership.
- 2:14Speaker 5: No.
- 2:14Speaker 3: What I talk every year, just like I was going
- 2:17Speaker 3: to do today, from mine parents, for mine, uncle's family members,
- 2:23Speaker 3: anyone around, young kids. This is that time of the year.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I want to make the team. I had a bad game,
- 2:31Speaker 3: bad practice yesterday. I'm going over to Peachtree Ridge this afternoon.
- 2:36Speaker 3: My more, Roddy White, he's the receiver coach. He was
- 2:39Speaker 3: a Great Falcon receiver. He's a receiver coach over at
- 2:43Speaker 3: Peachtree Ridge practice. At five. If you've been here in
- 2:47Speaker 3: Atlanta area five has still been feeling like noon. Oh,
- 2:52Speaker 3: very hot, very hot. That's the that's the heat wave.
- 2:55Speaker 3: This and this is of what I used to tell
- 2:58Speaker 3: people coming from Florida. That was the thing. It wasn't
- 3:01Speaker 3: that Florida got hotter than other states. It just was
- 3:06Speaker 3: always hot. Like you don't get cooled in Florida at
- 3:10Speaker 3: about ten forty seven pm and that cool finally cool,
- 3:15Speaker 3: seventy suffering since six thirty am and nine you should
- 3:19Speaker 3: sleep forty seven you should be sleep then. And then
- 3:22Speaker 3: it's what I'm saying. You wake up, you wake up.
- 3:24Speaker 3: It's eighty two degrees when you wake up in the
- 3:27Speaker 3: morning in Florida, and by the time you go to sleep,
- 3:30Speaker 3: it has got the seventy nine. And it's been right
- 3:33Speaker 3: like that here in Georgia. But I said that to
- 3:36Speaker 3: say anywhere, especially in the South, where you're just having
- 3:41Speaker 3: these temperatures. And I know we've adjested a lot of
- 3:45Speaker 3: things to help the kids out. That's why even speaking
- 3:49Speaker 3: to Roddy White about it, he was like, either they
- 3:51Speaker 3: practiced first thing in the morning or five six seven
- 3:56Speaker 3: at night to avoid the day. But the last two
- 4:00Speaker 3: or three weeks here in Atlanta, from about ten to six,
- 4:07Speaker 3: it's been the same temperature. But to get back to
- 4:11Speaker 3: where I was saying, kids, because I was there and
- 4:15Speaker 3: we've all been there, especially if you go out for sports.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Our whole thing was something like, we can try to
- 4:20Speaker 3: get a sugar high, but these kids Red Bull Death
- 4:27Speaker 3: drink forty nine ounces of you might die. You might die.
- 4:35Speaker 3: That's actually that's the name of the product. You might die,
- 4:38Speaker 3: head splitter. It's just water and those things, and then
- 4:42Speaker 3: you rush out. There's one call. It's just water wink.
- 4:46Speaker 3: You rush out to practice, and those things affect you
- 4:50Speaker 3: in a way that you just really don't know. You
- 4:54Speaker 3: really don't grasp that caffeine products really are for indoor.
- 4:59Speaker 3: To me, they're they're they're temperature based. I think maybe
- 5:03Speaker 3: nobody really ever speaks about that in the product. It's
- 5:08Speaker 3: not good to do heavy caffeine and then do heat.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Uh they're already telling you to hydrate in the heat, right,
- 5:18Speaker 3: but you're gonna go I'm about coffee all that.
- 5:21Speaker 6: Most of these were designed for people in the gym
- 5:25Speaker 6: with climate control.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Right, gyms usually stay about this temperature, yeah, climate control.
- 5:30Speaker 3: And then but then outside it's just outside, especially in Georgia,
- 5:36Speaker 3: it's like outside Hall of Fame game tonight up in Canton,
- 5:41Speaker 3: Detroit taking on the Tree Lance Chargers, and Marball's gonna
- 5:46Speaker 3: let trade Lance be Remember Tree Lance, I remember and
- 5:53Speaker 3: for a year or two and then traded to Dallas Cowboys,
- 5:56Speaker 3: and I think this will be about.
- 5:58Speaker 7: Year five, right, Yeah, this is in the same draft
- 6:03Speaker 7: with Trevor Lawrence and Justin Field.
- 6:06Speaker 6: I heard someone on the way in I'm listening to
- 6:08Speaker 6: the radio and they said, tonight, well NFL starts back
- 6:13Speaker 6: with the LA Clippers going against.
- 6:19Speaker 3: And I said, wait a minute, Clippers. They actually said
- 6:22Speaker 3: the Clippers, Oh they they may step the LA team.
- 6:24Speaker 3: It's Chargers, Yeah, they obviously, but I just thought that,
- 6:30Speaker 3: you know, and there was no one to go, oh no, no,
- 6:32Speaker 3: that's wrong. It's the and it just let it wrong. Yeah,
- 6:36Speaker 3: the LA Chargers taking on the Lions. Whatever starters. As
- 6:41Speaker 3: I always tell you the preseason, you got to catch
- 6:44Speaker 3: that first drive for most Now, someone like a Trey Lance,
- 6:48Speaker 3: who's probably really getting evaluated and if this is his
- 6:53Speaker 3: thirteen in already fifth year. Now he's trying to show
- 7:00Speaker 3: someone that he can be the starter. If he can't
- 7:04Speaker 3: impress someone to think that he's a starter by the
- 7:08Speaker 3: end of this year. Now you've become a career backup
- 7:14Speaker 3: because it starts being you and not the team you
- 7:21Speaker 3: got drafted high enough. That will take four or five years,
- 7:24Speaker 3: and we'll blame the organization. We'll blame the offensive coordinated.
- 7:28Speaker 3: You know, it's the old line. It's just the and
- 7:30Speaker 3: then it was the rookie. It was the rookie learning curve.
- 7:35Speaker 3: You know all that. Then it will come you. But
- 7:37Speaker 3: Commanding Gregg in the building, Big Kennedy, the funny man
- 7:40Speaker 3: himself and our man always from parts unknown. It's always confusing.
- 7:48Speaker 3: You know, I've been knowing him longer than any of
- 7:50Speaker 3: you know. I met him first.
- 7:51Speaker 8: He from up top today, Brooke Noview the New York
- 8:02Speaker 8: Hall of Fame is tonight.
- 8:05Speaker 3: As far as the game, as I said, they switched
- 8:07Speaker 3: it around for a long time. Uh, the induction ceremony
- 8:14Speaker 3: would be first and then the game would follow. But
- 8:19Speaker 3: now they do it kind of And like I said,
- 8:22Speaker 3: I'm quite sure they random numbers for hotels because some people,
- 8:27Speaker 3: most people are going to support the inductees. I know,
- 8:33Speaker 3: the two or three times I've ever been there was
- 8:36Speaker 3: because the inductees invited me. I'm not going to Canton
- 8:42Speaker 3: to see a preseason game of people who aren't even
- 8:45Speaker 3: going to play. I'm saying, man, so we could, you
- 8:48Speaker 3: know how, So somewhere in there they they random numbers
- 8:51Speaker 3: or people started just you know, we we evolved, We'll
- 8:55Speaker 3: figure out a way to get things done.
- 8:57Speaker 9: I'm saying, at some point on the time, that Hall
- 9:00Speaker 9: of Fame game did mean something. They were they before
- 9:05Speaker 9: all the preseasons and everything, they were playing that game.
- 9:08Speaker 9: The players did play, But you look at it, you
- 9:11Speaker 9: would think that some kind of way the NFL could
- 9:13Speaker 9: make it a type of game that could mean something
- 9:17Speaker 9: later on.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Maybe I think a lot of what the Hall of
- 9:21Speaker 3: Fame game where it is now, Yeah, it's gonna be
- 9:24Speaker 3: like that, and it's in can I mean, you know,
- 9:27Speaker 3: that's one of the things. I think it's something well,
- 9:29Speaker 3: and and let's make sure we say because I don't
- 9:32Speaker 3: know if I ever backed that up. The starters aren't playing,
- 9:34Speaker 3: but those people that hitting the field football, they playing football.
- 9:38Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. It's not a fake game. Don't
- 9:41Speaker 3: get nobody think it's not I'm talking about the pretending game.
- 9:46Speaker 3: It's still the NFL.
- 9:47Speaker 9: It's still the NFL, and it's still football, and it
- 9:50Speaker 9: gets the fan base as far as far as whether
- 9:53Speaker 9: it's your your team.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Playing the or the older my me, my time. Before
- 9:58Speaker 3: that time, owners teams and they just didn't try to
- 10:06Speaker 3: prophesize when the injury was going to happen. To modern
- 10:12Speaker 3: day sports, we tried to, like we the oracle, and
- 10:18Speaker 3: we got some kind of voodoo that we can you
- 10:21Speaker 3: can tell you, well, see if you missed deed, we
- 10:23Speaker 3: can minimize and then you can play the first half
- 10:26Speaker 3: of the Hall of Fame game. But the second third snap,
- 10:32Speaker 3: after the third snap, you've got to come out because
- 10:34Speaker 3: we want to keep you.
- 10:35Speaker 9: Fraend is because of those guys out there that's really
- 10:38Speaker 9: trying to dog it and really trying to make it
- 10:40Speaker 9: is the reason why a lot of them start. I mean,
- 10:42Speaker 9: you don't want to get your your better players in
- 10:44Speaker 9: there because in the past that's where the injuries happen.
- 10:49Speaker 3: When do to happen, I'm just saying that when let's say, yeah,
- 10:52Speaker 3: I got like five people that's out for the season
- 10:56Speaker 3: and they're already one game play. Oh yeah, I already
- 10:58Speaker 3: had three practices like two Achilles, three a c al nothing.
- 11:05Speaker 3: We stopped drinking milk, yes, drinking the milk. You know
- 11:08Speaker 3: I'm saying. So there is no a lot of rhyme
- 11:11Speaker 3: and reason to injuries. But you know, right now we
- 11:18Speaker 3: only do three preseason games. I've always said that I
- 11:23Speaker 3: feel like you still have to approach it with the
- 11:26Speaker 3: idea of getting my team timing down.
- 11:30Speaker 6: Now with three preseason games, this will count as one
- 11:34Speaker 6: of theirs. Yes, yes, okay, yes, yes, getting it out
- 11:38Speaker 6: the way they can get.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Gonna get it out the way. We'll be back more
- 11:42Speaker 3: than Sports Shock Show, got a big show for you
- 11:44Speaker 3: today right after this. All of that is of his name.

- 14:54Speaker 17: on the Sports jocksh just taken it.
- 14:56Speaker 3: To a completely different level this.
- 14:57Speaker 17: Year where we highlight an Atholte taking their game to
- 15:01Speaker 17: the next level.
- 15:14Speaker 5: We want the scene in the podcast that they call
- 15:17Speaker 5: for Green de live young man Simdy Phillips's name to
- 15:21Speaker 5: make it interesting in me.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Welcome back to this boy Shock show. I'm this one
- 15:26Speaker 3: shock wing. Can the unfortunately tragedy again in this country
- 15:32Speaker 3: mass shooting seems like, really we only do mass shootings
- 15:41Speaker 3: when you watch news. When you read a story, the
- 15:46Speaker 3: single shot has seemed to give way to the multiple shot.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Here locally youth football coach last week shot in the head.
- 16:02Speaker 3: And then but if you go down just one more paragraph,
- 16:04Speaker 3: you'll find out that same shooter shot someone at the
- 16:07Speaker 3: gas station. Like it's rarely sadly, it's like we couldn't
- 16:11Speaker 3: just settle on. Let me shoot the one person. Now
- 16:17Speaker 3: we have moved on, Let's shoot multiple people, multiple people.
- 16:20Speaker 3: They have nothing to do with what's going on with you,
- 16:27Speaker 3: because I'm emotional. New York City NFL Offices twenty seven
- 16:35Speaker 3: year old man makes his way from Vegas to New York.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Story reads as though he was trying to end his
- 16:47Speaker 3: life at the NFL offices. He was going to do
- 16:51Speaker 3: more damage there. They are reporting that whatever building he
- 16:56Speaker 3: went into, he got on the wrong elevent la So
- 17:02Speaker 3: he opened fire at three forty five Park Avenue with
- 17:07Speaker 3: an four rifle, where he took the lives or for
- 17:13Speaker 3: people and multiple others shot for shooting himself. A note
- 17:21Speaker 3: was in his possession, and I've talked about that on
- 17:25Speaker 3: this show multiple times. Whip my crew here since the
- 17:31Speaker 3: letter CTE came into people's minds, and I've asked several times,
- 17:39Speaker 3: how did the NFL get labeled with c t E
- 17:46Speaker 3: when just like this young man, he never played even
- 17:52Speaker 3: on the college level. I've asked that several times. How
- 18:00Speaker 3: how the how did the post the boy of a
- 18:07Speaker 3: condition become of the idea that the NFL gives you CTE.
- 18:15Speaker 3: This young man is feeling like he had it. Now
- 18:17Speaker 3: I don't. I would imagine I don't know the young
- 18:20Speaker 3: man multiple reasons why he could have thought that. One
- 18:26Speaker 3: is that you've been selling it, marketing it as though
- 18:31Speaker 3: if you play football, and then after you stop playing football,
- 18:36Speaker 3: if you have anger issues or whatever didn't go right
- 18:41Speaker 3: in your life CTE. M I snap on someone. I
- 18:50Speaker 3: raised my voice, Hey man, you're dealing with your CTE.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Wh What do you know about ct other than the letters?
- 19:01Speaker 3: Very few people know about ct why because you have
- 19:04Speaker 3: to die to even diagnose it. Has that changed not
- 19:09Speaker 3: from the updates that I followed, Yeah, they tried to.
- 19:13Speaker 7: I think there's like a list of symptoms, but that
- 19:15Speaker 7: could that could have to be something else.
- 19:17Speaker 6: That could be alcoholism, that could be irritated from a
- 19:20Speaker 6: long day at work, that could be uh.
- 19:25Speaker 3: And I just know I have said how did this how? Guys?
- 19:30Speaker 3: Because it was guys that two games played in the
- 19:33Speaker 3: NFL lawsuit against the NFL, Well, how did how you figure?
- 19:39Speaker 3: So in those two games, that's when you got your
- 19:41Speaker 3: ct It was hard hits. It wasn't when you was
- 19:44Speaker 3: ten or when you got dropped, when you baby or
- 19:48Speaker 3: whatever it was. It wasn't a car accident. Yeah, it
- 19:51Speaker 3: wasn't seriously had three of them. It was not. You
- 19:55Speaker 3: just figured football at one time. But you think the movies.
- 19:59Speaker 9: You think the movies in all the propaganda that comes along,
- 20:03Speaker 9: Like I know they had the movie with Will Smith,
- 20:06Speaker 9: and then you have a couple of other documentaries out there,
- 20:11Speaker 9: and then you have then you have schools, colleges and
- 20:14Speaker 9: universities who are who've created the well University of North
- 20:17Speaker 9: Carolina was one of the schools that when they was
- 20:21Speaker 9: testing the helmets for the licks to give you a
- 20:24Speaker 9: read out to understand all these different things.
- 20:26Speaker 3: So I mean, what listen what I'm saying.
- 20:29Speaker 6: No, and this is just my personal opinion. Having conversations
- 20:36Speaker 6: like this, Having conversations like this to me, to me,
- 20:40Speaker 6: only further nurture and promote people who aren't well mentally.
- 20:48Speaker 6: This man wasn't ill because of CTE. As sports jock stated,
- 20:53Speaker 6: he never made it to the NFL, He never made
- 20:56Speaker 6: it to college.
- 20:57Speaker 3: He played some in high school. How do you end
- 21:01Speaker 3: up in the offices in New York at the NFL
- 21:04Speaker 3: claiming that CTE has negatively affected your life. You're not
- 21:09Speaker 3: well mentally, You're insane. So let's not throw CTE into
- 21:14Speaker 3: this because people start going in prison right now in the.
- 21:18Speaker 9: State of Texas. He was listening to Tupac before he
- 21:21Speaker 9: shout up the shout the police. And it's a young
- 21:24Speaker 9: man right now, I'm a googler this in jail because
- 21:27Speaker 9: he said he was listening to Tupac, right.
- 21:29Speaker 6: And there are people who have taken their own lives
- 21:32Speaker 6: because they were listening to Metallica. And then there are
- 21:35Speaker 6: people who have done all kinds of heinous things because
- 21:39Speaker 6: they watched a movie or read a book. And again,
- 21:42Speaker 6: these people aren't normal. And for us to evoke the
- 21:46Speaker 6: name of these works of art or these industries, it's
- 21:50Speaker 6: for us to unfairly label them and attach them to
- 21:54Speaker 6: this stupidity. This man has attachment to the NFL.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Why the.
- 22:01Speaker 9: United Healthcare Worker assassinated him that morning? The insurance CEO
- 22:07Speaker 9: Tupas road Man. No, I'm shot nobody. I'm asking in that.
- 22:11Speaker 9: I'm asking though it was labeled because the insurance company
- 22:15Speaker 9: did something wrong. Is the reason why the man everything
- 22:18Speaker 9: has a label, the reason why the people are shooting,
- 22:20Speaker 9: That's all I'm asking In the.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Insurance case, that's who he had an actual grievance with
- 22:26Speaker 3: and again not with the CEO.
- 22:30Speaker 6: I'm saying anybody can have a grievance with anything. Now
- 22:36Speaker 6: I broke my tooth when I was chewing something, and
- 22:41Speaker 6: now I'm at the dentist office shooting up Dennis. That's
- 22:45Speaker 6: got nothing to do with my insanity. That's all I'm saying.
- 22:48Speaker 3: To attach CTE to this when it's obviously not CTE
- 22:53Speaker 3: is for them to do the same thing this man
- 22:57Speaker 3: did use the NFL to promote their own agendas. That's
- 23:02Speaker 3: why people, I think, that's why he I think why
- 23:05Speaker 3: he made a note like that, and why he went
- 23:07Speaker 3: to where wherever he decided that he was going to
- 23:10Speaker 3: take his life get the most. Something clicked in that
- 23:14Speaker 3: he also wanted to have to be remembered, which could
- 23:18Speaker 3: have been what was furthering his depression in the first place. Yep,
- 23:23Speaker 3: that he didn't feel recognized or seen. But to add
- 23:27Speaker 3: that on adds layers to a story about a most
- 23:32Speaker 3: likely a kid that already had issues. Yeah, they said
- 23:35Speaker 3: he had a history and wanted to go out, as
- 23:38Speaker 3: they say, with a bang more bang for his buck
- 23:41Speaker 3: and then taking lives with him for people. And I
- 23:45Speaker 3: know in our country we move on from the hard
- 23:49Speaker 3: stories to figure out who was on Jeffrey Epstein's list,
- 23:54Speaker 3: Like who cares? That's how we moved, you know, let's
- 23:58Speaker 3: find out we're dead man had on the island somewhere.
- 24:03Speaker 3: This is what we need to be talking about. Why
- 24:05Speaker 3: we have so many random mass shootings in our cut
- 24:09Speaker 3: off in a country we're running water. We'll be back
- 24:13Speaker 3: more to Sports Shock Show. Did you hit the switch
- 24:15Speaker 3: and come on in the house? Job now? I do
- 24:27Speaker 3: so well?

- 27:04Speaker 1: Stop.
- 27:10Speaker 3: I don't know why a way. Welcome back to Spoyshock Show.
- 27:18Speaker 3: I'm in the Sportshock Win Gande commanch you, Greg the Bat, producer,
- 27:23Speaker 3: Big Kenny. We're all here this last day of July
- 27:27Speaker 3: twenty twenty five. We jump into the Hall of Fame
- 27:31Speaker 3: game tonight the Lions and the Chargers, which if this
- 27:37Speaker 3: was a regular season Thursday night game would be actually
- 27:41Speaker 3: something to watch. With how the Lions have been over
- 27:44Speaker 3: the last couple of years and the redemption trail, it
- 27:48Speaker 3: seems that the Chargers are going to try to put
- 27:52Speaker 3: together this year a lot of tough sledding for both
- 27:56Speaker 3: of these two teams. They're in tough conferences, a lot
- 28:01Speaker 3: of work to be done. As I said, Trey Lance,
- 28:05Speaker 3: I'm hoping, wishing still one of those unrefined and at
- 28:12Speaker 3: some point the NFL will adjust because you can't keep
- 28:15Speaker 3: taking the Trey Lances, the Antonio Richardson's for the Coats
- 28:20Speaker 3: with these high picks without actually seeing more actually quality
- 28:25Speaker 3: football play. Sometimes at that quarterback position, we are getting
- 28:31Speaker 3: back to that old NBA model where we're just drafting
- 28:35Speaker 3: potential more than we're actually drafting results. Guys will just
- 28:42Speaker 3: a little football in them, and by the time they
- 28:48Speaker 3: even discover their game, like a justin Fields, I'm pulling
- 28:54Speaker 3: for him. I'm pulling on all these guys, but I
- 28:56Speaker 3: know this is where they are in that breaking point.
- 29:00Speaker 3: And then the next thing, you know, as I said,
- 29:02Speaker 3: which it took a while, but he did revive his career,
- 29:06Speaker 3: they start going on that path of the Geno Smith.
- 29:09Speaker 3: He's the modern day name that's in the league that
- 29:12Speaker 3: you if you put his whole career, you remember he
- 29:15Speaker 3: was the starter. He was trying to push him four
- 29:18Speaker 3: or five six years, and then there was four or
- 29:22Speaker 3: five six years he was just the backup. Yeah, and
- 29:26Speaker 3: then at the Chargers and at the Seahawks and the
- 29:29Speaker 3: Giants and the Giant and then he got a chance,
- 29:32Speaker 3: what two years ago to finally be the starter. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:37Speaker 3: two three years ago to be the starter and has
- 29:39Speaker 3: made something of it. But that's where these guys are.
- 29:42Speaker 3: They're standing at that door knocking on it of where
- 29:47Speaker 3: where am I gonna go? Which divide? Am I gonna go?
- 29:50Speaker 3: Am I gonna be for the next couple of years?
- 29:52Speaker 3: Jameis Winston, I'm strong, you strong, We're strong? Would you
- 29:58Speaker 3: not say? That's where some of the these guys are,
- 30:00Speaker 3: these quarterbacks.
- 30:01Speaker 9: Yeah a, James, there's a couple of them out there
- 30:07Speaker 9: that you can come to.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Mind.
- 30:09Speaker 9: Marianod we had him here in Atlanta. It's yeah, Marioda. No,
- 30:14Speaker 9: Mariolder is not at that door anymore. Mariol is just
- 30:18Speaker 9: a backup, just a backup. See he's he's he slipped
- 30:24Speaker 9: through the trap door. He had that Hey man, we're
- 30:28Speaker 9: gonna we're gonna get that out of him this year,
- 30:30Speaker 9: and they never got that out of him.
- 30:32Speaker 7: And really the only ones that I think of that
- 30:34Speaker 7: like kind of came back through and became starters again.
- 30:39Speaker 7: Or Geno Smith and Sam Darnold, uh where they were
- 30:44Speaker 7: back up in a couple of places, and then they
- 30:46Speaker 7: got a chance to start. And maybe it was because
- 30:49Speaker 7: of injury or whatever to the other quarterback, but they
- 30:52Speaker 7: still got a chance and took advantage of it. That's
- 30:55Speaker 7: something that's not it's when we see that as possible,
- 30:59Speaker 7: it's just it doesn't happen that. Of course, you think
- 31:01Speaker 7: about Trey Lance went from starting for the forty nine
- 31:03Speaker 7: ers to disappearing from your consciousness. Yeah, the last until
- 31:10Speaker 7: I'm starting with his name popped because I was kind
- 31:14Speaker 7: of embarrassed that I had forgotten about him that fast. Wow,
- 31:18Speaker 7: I remember he was at the forty nine ers, and
- 31:20Speaker 7: then I remember Dallas made some kind of trade with
- 31:22Speaker 7: the forty nine ers to bring him in even at
- 31:26Speaker 7: that point he was the third quarterback or something. And
- 31:29Speaker 7: then I'm reading the article that the game happened in
- 31:32Speaker 7: the night and they said Trey Lance starting for the Charge.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I'm lost, Like, oh, okay, he's made it back to
- 31:38Speaker 3: a position where he gets to try. So we will see.
- 31:41Speaker 3: But an exciting NFL season on us, Well, I think
- 31:45Speaker 3: we're being with Harbo.
- 31:47Speaker 9: I mean, like I said, maybe coaching Harbor being a
- 31:50Speaker 9: quarterback at one point in time. And you know there's
- 31:52Speaker 9: something like I said, this kid well as the word
- 31:56Speaker 9: can make or break him in a situation to know
- 31:59Speaker 9: if he is that guy on that.
- 32:02Speaker 7: First field, the right thing has to break for him,
- 32:04Speaker 7: because Justin Herbert is the starter. Yeah, but he can
- 32:08Speaker 7: like still prepared and be ready in case of an
- 32:11Speaker 7: injury going forward being on another another team as a starter,
- 32:18Speaker 7: something has to break right for him. So it's still
- 32:20Speaker 7: like it's still a long process. Oh, it's gonna be
- 32:23Speaker 7: a process.
- 32:23Speaker 9: But having someone of a Jim Harball sometimes those guys
- 32:28Speaker 9: who come out of college, that type of coach is
- 32:31Speaker 9: the coach that they can lean on an adjusted to
- 32:35Speaker 9: be able to understand what they got to do to
- 32:37Speaker 9: be for.
- 32:38Speaker 3: So that's what I'm just looking at Harball in that
- 32:40Speaker 3: man well and also being on the hardball. That's why
- 32:43Speaker 3: I made a statement, you can go some places and
- 32:48Speaker 3: if you can't make it there, Yeah, right, you need
- 32:51Speaker 3: to call Dillards and assistant manager. See what corporate that's
- 33:00Speaker 3: what that's what they were placed on you. Yeah, that's
- 33:02Speaker 3: you couldn't if you couldn't do it with And that's
- 33:06Speaker 3: I was going to say, yeah, if you couldn't do
- 33:08Speaker 3: it with market and that same thing, make you laugh,
- 33:13Speaker 3: make you cry. We sent you to the quarterback whisper,
- 33:15Speaker 3: and he whispers all day and you're still out there
- 33:19Speaker 3: throwing an exception.
- 33:20Speaker 6: So maybe it's it's you. Maybe it's you. It's no
- 33:23Speaker 6: longer the scheme of the coaching or any of that.
- 33:26Speaker 3: And it's so funny that we have our favorite players
- 33:28Speaker 3: and we might we can't accept that transfer. We can't
- 33:35Speaker 3: accept And I'm here like a standing on a soapbox
- 33:38Speaker 3: telling you every great talent that was in college. They
- 33:43Speaker 3: were great. It just didn't translate to the pro Yes,
- 33:50Speaker 3: college is going to be that way too. It's going
- 33:53Speaker 3: to erode because now you're talking about the investment component
- 33:58Speaker 3: and the idea that people are going to be spending.
- 34:02Speaker 3: They're coming, They're adding more coaches, more gms. Our whole
- 34:09Speaker 3: day is to stop you, command you, Gregg. They weren't
- 34:14Speaker 3: doing that where you come from. Now you get up
- 34:16Speaker 3: here with that's all they're doing from this guy ten
- 34:22Speaker 3: p M. They don't hire three other more coaches to
- 34:26Speaker 3: look at that official coaches. They're working in the consulting
- 34:31Speaker 3: of coach. The same with the coach, the same game,
- 34:34Speaker 3: the same film from doing you, and that little window
- 34:40Speaker 3: of when you was able to they have slowly just
- 34:43Speaker 3: closed it. And that's what's happening. You're if you're just
- 34:47Speaker 3: super raw, you might fall off the raw material. They're
- 34:51Speaker 3: not waiting for it to shape up.
- 34:53Speaker 7: Do you think it's also like, uh, when you mentioned that,
- 34:57Speaker 7: like drafting off of potential the age factor, like Trey
- 35:02Speaker 7: Lance was twenty when he got drafted, but someone like
- 35:06Speaker 7: Michael Pennix twenty four, and it's like, there's we want
- 35:12Speaker 7: to get him, while to get the younger player. We
- 35:14Speaker 7: want to go with the younger player because this guy
- 35:17Speaker 7: he's we may not have that much time with him,
- 35:20Speaker 7: but they still need to be developed a longer similar
- 35:24Speaker 7: they will still be developed a longer similar timeline of
- 35:28Speaker 7: where they may in the second year they may become
- 35:31Speaker 7: a starter. But this guy's twenty one. This guy will
- 35:34Speaker 7: be twenty five. So well you think, like some teams
- 35:37Speaker 7: are drafting a player that's two, it might.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Might be too young.
- 35:42Speaker 7: And now we don't have the time that we you know,
- 35:44Speaker 7: we want to have him on the cheaper contract before
- 35:46Speaker 7: we got to pay him and all that stuff.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Well, you do like the Falcons. Did you draft a
- 35:51Speaker 3: guy like a Michael Pennix and you bite down on
- 35:55Speaker 3: that cloth and hope that I can get as many
- 35:59Speaker 3: games as possible before I had to put him in there.
- 36:04Speaker 3: That's what they did. They went with twelve games into
- 36:08Speaker 3: the season, maybe thirteen games. That's not what happened with
- 36:14Speaker 3: Trey Lance. That's not even what happened with chestin Fields
- 36:20Speaker 3: Trevor Lawrence. Just run out there and go do it. Now.
- 36:23Speaker 3: You want to puy a little time, now as much time,
- 36:25Speaker 3: so now Michael Pennance can come in. He was comfortable
- 36:29Speaker 3: and also the veil of him being Michael Vick is
- 36:32Speaker 3: not there. That's why I tell you have to stand
- 36:35Speaker 3: up for Matt Ryan because you didn't want Matt Ryan.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Everything Matt Ryan did went against what you wanted. You
- 36:43Speaker 3: didn't want him to be the MVP. Only thing you
- 36:46Speaker 3: really wanted him to do was bringing him home a
- 36:49Speaker 3: Super Bowl that he put a mighty effort up for.
- 36:52Speaker 3: But his records I talk to people about, hey man,
- 36:55Speaker 3: you know Matt Ryan might be one of the you know,
- 36:57Speaker 3: first second Amy Judio Hall of Fame. No man, and
- 37:02Speaker 3: it's like I thought you was a Falcon fan. Wouldn't
- 37:04Speaker 3: you want no, man?
- 37:06Speaker 1: He was?
- 37:07Speaker 3: I said, well, you know, in the top ten and
- 37:08Speaker 3: like every category. And then if you come up with
- 37:12Speaker 3: what are you what matter are you going to send him?
- 37:14Speaker 3: Even if he's your even if he's four or five
- 37:17Speaker 3: years out, say you don't take him the first, second,
- 37:20Speaker 3: third time in year five? What is your letter going
- 37:24Speaker 3: to say when his agent sends you a note that
- 37:29Speaker 3: the eight people behind me on all these statistic lists
- 37:34Speaker 3: is in the Hall of Fame. And I'm not no, man,
- 37:39Speaker 3: don't put him in there? Man? Are you crazy?
- 37:41Speaker 18: Man?
- 37:42Speaker 3: You can't put Matt Ryan. I'm like wall A Falcon.
- 37:45Speaker 3: Don't you want to? I don't understand. That's why I
- 37:47Speaker 3: tell you worst fans in America Falcon, because I don't
- 37:51Speaker 3: understand what they want. You think you would want somebody
- 37:55Speaker 3: from your school to win go in the Hall of Fame, right,
- 38:01Speaker 3: Not that dude. Though, we want a dude to go,
- 38:05Speaker 3: but not that dude. Brou that other dude had not
- 38:10Speaker 3: done with that dude. That did man, and he'd have
- 38:12Speaker 3: been the dude. But you don't want him to go.
- 38:16Speaker 3: We want the result, but we we wanted to look
- 38:18Speaker 3: a certain way, and am I wrong, Baptist. Is that
- 38:22Speaker 3: not how your fan base talks about we got movement.
- 38:24Speaker 3: I don't know about the action. We got some movement.
- 38:27Speaker 3: I know we ain't got no I don't understand what
- 38:29Speaker 3: that means. That sound to sound like a drug. I
- 38:34Speaker 3: have no idea what he's talking about. Is he red
- 38:37Speaker 3: dog three? I can't the microphone is because I heard
- 38:42Speaker 3: him say it. He said we got movement. We we
- 38:46Speaker 3: ain't got no action, we got moved. I don't understand.
- 38:51Speaker 6: I ain't even gonna dig too deep because research on

- 41:36Speaker 2: Between between a log on so you can see the
- 41:49Speaker 2: sports Joint. I'll see even the journey. Welcome back to
- 41:56Speaker 2: the Sports Dog Show. Manis fans at Ernest Hemingway. Just
- 42:00Speaker 2: what Ernest human Way said? And I'm telling you it's
- 42:06Speaker 2: coming from one of those power shows. Maybe Fifty's mother
- 42:11Speaker 2: or one of the gangsters in there made some quote
- 42:16Speaker 2: and he remembered it, and he's been waiting to use that.
- 42:22Speaker 3: We got movement, but we ain't got action that sounds
- 42:25Speaker 3: like something that one of them people, Falcons fans, he
- 42:35Speaker 3: was a Falcons. Simplicity is actually the best form or
- 42:42Speaker 3: in the action. The simple way, the simple greeting, Hey,
- 42:47Speaker 3: how are you? Oh nice day to day? Those are
- 42:55Speaker 3: nice shoes? Just a simple way tweeting them kicks lick
- 43:04Speaker 3: h what I said, the same thing. I said the
- 43:09Speaker 3: same thing. You said, Hello, those are some nice shoes.
- 43:13Speaker 3: I said, Oh, man, this man is evoked, ernest him away.
- 43:24Speaker 3: I can go ahead, Hey man, what time is wrapped
- 43:26Speaker 3: wrapping up up the ocean time? I'm telling you ocean out?
- 43:32Speaker 23: What what?
- 43:32Speaker 24: What?
- 43:32Speaker 25: What?
- 43:33Speaker 3: What did him? And wait, legitimately what did he? Because
- 43:37Speaker 3: he's giving him credit for all kind of stuff ocean
- 43:40Speaker 3: out right? Now everything else is gonna pale in comparison.
- 43:44Speaker 3: It's like this, what this man just hit me? It's
- 43:47Speaker 3: like William Shakespeare said, twark something tork on, wist why
- 43:53Speaker 3: you work tork something? I got to move on. Michael Wilbon.
- 44:03Speaker 3: It says that ESPN is obsessed with the Cowboys. True,
- 44:08Speaker 3: come at you, Greg, No, we don't give you a
- 44:10Speaker 3: opinion on that. I'll ask you something else. You got
- 44:12Speaker 3: to stay with the quotes, so for an hour and
- 44:15Speaker 3: a half. You only respond with some quotes. Don't talk,
- 44:20Speaker 3: Just give us quotes and attribute it to people. He
- 44:22Speaker 3: never said it's That's what I'm saying. You got to
- 44:24Speaker 3: you got It's like Martin Luther King. So no matter
- 44:28Speaker 3: what we talk about, just hit a little good quote
- 44:30Speaker 3: at the end. But ESPN says, uh, I mean Michael Wilbon,
- 44:35Speaker 3: who's a long time pioneer at ESPN, longtime writer, network's
- 44:41Speaker 3: obsession with the Cowboys, Like basically they just cowboy namics
- 44:49Speaker 3: anything all the time. Why is that you think he
- 44:53Speaker 3: I mean, he's on the network willing to risk his
- 44:56Speaker 3: job calling out his network.
- 45:00Speaker 7: I think he said it was because it appears to
- 45:03Speaker 7: be true. You know a lot of during the I
- 45:09Speaker 7: saw a post during the NBA Finals and seeing how
- 45:15Speaker 7: baseball is. You know, there's a lot of good baseball
- 45:18Speaker 7: being played. The w NBA season is going on. There
- 45:23Speaker 7: are all these sporting events that are going on. But
- 45:27Speaker 7: then on a show like First Take, the topic is
- 45:33Speaker 7: what is Dak Prescott's legacy. This is in the middle
- 45:36Speaker 7: of June we talk about this and football season doesn't
- 45:43Speaker 7: start for another three months. So just trying to and
- 45:49Speaker 7: I think especially on I see it a lot on
- 45:52Speaker 7: on social media, but I think in the general public,
- 45:56Speaker 7: any mention of the Dallas Cowboys gets a reaction.
- 46:00Speaker 3: It's Lebron and Michael Jordan, Philip filler. Yes, if I
- 46:06Speaker 3: need some filler, if I don't have topics.
- 46:09Speaker 7: Or if it's topics that you don't know anything about,
- 46:12Speaker 7: Like to talk about the Cowboys in the middle of
- 46:15Speaker 7: June means you haven't watched any baseball, you don't know
- 46:19Speaker 7: any golfers, you don't watch the w n b A,
- 46:23Speaker 7: or you probably did. You probably watched the finals, but
- 46:27Speaker 7: you're on your phone, Steven Ah.
- 46:30Speaker 3: So there's like, well, what can we talk about that?
- 46:34Speaker 3: Like we can just.
- 46:36Speaker 7: Basically BSR way through a conversation, through a segment, let's
- 46:40Speaker 7: talk about the Cowboys.
- 46:41Speaker 3: Got uh? And I couldn't disagree. I know that, And
- 46:46Speaker 3: that's why I said I added him to the list,
- 46:49Speaker 3: because it seems that when I'm watching or reading something
- 46:52Speaker 3: that you only could have wanted to put this story in.
- 46:56Speaker 5: You know that.
- 46:57Speaker 3: Oh in the nineties final Bill Cartwright said, Michael Jordan
- 47:02Speaker 3: had an orange juice. Well, and I'm just like, what
- 47:08Speaker 3: you just needed some filler? Well, and some people's name
- 47:11Speaker 3: Cowboys with their fan base, because I wanted to ask,
- 47:16Speaker 3: It's not like the Cowboys have a lobbyist, do they
- 47:19Speaker 3: that like calls the network on some Hey man, we
- 47:21Speaker 3: think it'd be great if you talk about this. Uh,
- 47:25Speaker 3: it's supply and demand. I can sit and bs my
- 47:29Speaker 3: way through nine minutes.
- 47:32Speaker 6: Of a segment on a sports show in the middle
- 47:35Speaker 6: of June talking about the Cowboys and people won't turn
- 47:38Speaker 6: the channel anything else that you start to blah blah blah.
- 47:42Speaker 3: And I'm you know, you could be you could be
- 47:44Speaker 3: the president. The people want that, and and that's that's
- 47:48Speaker 3: all I'm saying. You're saying that I'm obsessed with I
- 47:51Speaker 3: can't get the Carolina Panthers. You can get nine minutes. Look,
- 47:57Speaker 3: you can get nine minutes of Carolina Panthers. Who there
- 48:00Speaker 3: books see see little nine seconds, that little nine seconds
- 48:05Speaker 3: we stuck. You can get nine minutes to the Carolina Panthers. Joe,
- 48:10Speaker 3: you can get three cents a minute for nine minutes
- 48:13Speaker 3: of the Carolina Panthers. Or I can charge you nineteen
- 48:17Speaker 3: dollars a minute to talk about the Dallas Cowboys for
- 48:22Speaker 3: for ten minutes. I'm going blah blah Dak Prescott blah blah,
- 48:27Speaker 3: Jerry blah blah, Jerry's world, Dak Prescott blah. And everybody goes,
- 48:32Speaker 3: how about the Cowboys and they haven't won anything and
- 48:35Speaker 3: they haven't been in the playoffs. SERI, who is the
- 48:38Speaker 3: head coach of the Carolina him?
- 48:41Speaker 18: Quit?
- 48:41Speaker 3: Quick, quick, quick? Without googling? What is his name? Quick? Quick?
- 48:45Speaker 3: Is it Canalist? Tom? Right? Is Caleb right?
- 48:49Speaker 10: Right?
- 48:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 48:49Speaker 1: Fired?
- 48:50Speaker 3: He's from Caleb Canalis, He from the Carolinas. And don't
- 48:54Speaker 3: know that's what I don't know he's so I just said,
- 48:59Speaker 3: I don't know Horn Junior is back. I seen him
- 49:01Speaker 3: in part. That's not even his name. Listen. The owner
- 49:05Speaker 3: of the Carolina Panthers is listen. Listen. Yeah, I don't
- 49:09Speaker 3: know why I keep saying that the owner of what
- 49:12Speaker 3: is his name? The Panthers owner? Listen and looking it
- 49:15Speaker 3: up you hold on what is the coaches? But I
- 49:18Speaker 3: just want to understand I don't have the answer and
- 49:21Speaker 3: keeping it from you. I'm seriously asking, what's the head
- 49:25Speaker 3: coach the Carolina him? You sound like that Panther's hr lady, Hey,
- 49:29Speaker 3: what's the head man? We got to make this check out.
- 49:32Speaker 3: What is the name of man coach of this organization. Guys,
- 49:36Speaker 3: come on now, somebody in here knows we'll be back.
- 49:41Speaker 3: Go down to the locker room. Please get around together.

- 50:07Speaker 26: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 50:10Speaker 26: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 50:13Speaker 26: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 50:17Speaker 26: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 50:21Speaker 26: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 50:24Speaker 26: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it is

- 51:11Speaker 3: Court on sports news gossip blah blah blah blah. Hey,
- 51:24Speaker 3: when you're gonna stop playing bad cheek, I could be
- 51:28Speaker 3: a fantasy. I can tell you got big, big energy, Henry.
- 51:31Speaker 3: It has too many young but I'm mighty.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Let you try.
- 51:35Speaker 3: I big Michael Sank can this thing like a melody.
- 51:38Speaker 3: And if your girl ain't right, I got a remedy.
- 51:40Speaker 3: It has too many yong him a head cheek. I
- 51:43Speaker 3: could be your penny. Wake back to this spoy shock show.
- 51:47Speaker 3: I'm in the Sportshock wing can dye. Marcus Morris Senior.
- 51:52Speaker 3: UH we talked about him early in the week he
- 51:55Speaker 3: was arrested down in Broward County. Information came out UH
- 51:59Speaker 3: to rounding this case that he actually was arrested for
- 52:09Speaker 3: some warrants from Las Vegas, some casinos out there where
- 52:15Speaker 3: he allegedly did not pay some markers or he either
- 52:20Speaker 3: paid the markers and the check bounced so last I
- 52:26Speaker 3: heard a thirteen year vet. They held him without bond
- 52:30Speaker 3: because they have to send him back to Las Vegas.
- 52:34Speaker 3: That was more while the bond was denied. Is that
- 52:38Speaker 3: how the procedure works, Big Kenny.
- 52:41Speaker 6: Well, they say that now he's paid more than two
- 52:44Speaker 6: hundred and fifty thousand dollars in penalties and bills and fines,
- 52:49Speaker 6: and I believe it's behind him now.
- 52:52Speaker 3: But initially when they got they didn't give him bond
- 52:55Speaker 3: because he had they had to send him back to Vegas.
- 53:00Speaker 3: That's extra extra in back in Vegas. So it wasn't
- 53:02Speaker 3: like they were holding him because it was something terrible. Yeah,
- 53:07Speaker 3: did you don't like him? But Vegas had a hole
- 53:10Speaker 3: on him. And I believe this was this a federal charge? Uh,
- 53:16Speaker 3: this was It's like this was just local, okay, because
- 53:20Speaker 3: that can happen too.
- 53:22Speaker 6: I get pulled over for a traffic ticket and they go, oh,
- 53:24Speaker 6: hold on, they got a warrant for you out of Chicago,
- 53:27Speaker 6: and Chicago said they were willing to come get.
- 53:29Speaker 3: You about it. And it says that in Las Vegas,
- 53:33Speaker 3: in the battle in those areas, the casino a marker
- 53:37Speaker 3: over twelve hundred dollars can't. They can't issue a warrant
- 53:41Speaker 3: for your arrest. He had like two bad markers which
- 53:47Speaker 3: ended up. I don't know what happened, you know. I
- 53:50Speaker 3: thought it might be a clerical era done. I don't
- 53:55Speaker 3: know how he got behind with the casino payment. But
- 54:00Speaker 3: the checks bounce basically that he wrote them. Is that correct, Greg,
- 54:04Speaker 3: what you're reading? Well, I'm looking at his his statement
- 54:08Speaker 3: after he was released. It basically looks like he wrote
- 54:15Speaker 3: a he got a marker to gamble, and then he
- 54:20Speaker 3: just took his time paying it back. So and they
- 54:25Speaker 3: are they did they set up a payment plan or
- 54:28Speaker 3: he just had decided he It looks like he just.
- 54:32Speaker 7: I really thought the amount of money and time I
- 54:34Speaker 7: spent there would really have value. So yeah, I took
- 54:37Speaker 7: my time to pay back the money that could have
- 54:40Speaker 7: been handled on the spot. If I'd known that, I
- 54:43Speaker 7: would have been I would have locked up. I would
- 54:46Speaker 7: have been locked up like I was trying to flee
- 54:48Speaker 7: or Okay, kind of weird to decipher what he's saying,
- 54:52Speaker 7: but basically he he thought he could just get his
- 54:58Speaker 7: marker and then pay it back.
- 54:59Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 55:00Speaker 6: Okay, sports jock, I'm I'm gonna come over to your
- 55:03Speaker 6: house and and we're gonna drink and we're gonna eat.
- 55:06Speaker 3: You're gonna spot me at the restaurant. We're good, We're.
- 55:08Speaker 6: Gonna go to club and I'm gonna pay you back.
- 55:12Speaker 6: I got you, I got you. You know what I'm saying.
- 55:15Speaker 6: I'mnna get you your money. But I figured since we
- 55:18Speaker 6: was boy, you ain't want the money like that right away.
- 55:21Speaker 6: And then a week later, what do you say? No,
- 55:23Speaker 6: I'm saying, I'm gonna get it to you, but you
- 55:26Speaker 6: won a week after that, you want it now.
- 55:30Speaker 3: You ain't gonna go bro, come on, man, you I'm saying,
- 55:33Speaker 3: now you'm we're gonna go to the thing later. It's
- 55:35Speaker 3: been three weeks. Man. What I'm saying all I owe you.
- 55:40Speaker 3: I got this.
- 55:41Speaker 6: Listen, I'm saying, after my my my boy birthday celebration,
- 55:46Speaker 6: I'm gonna throw you.
- 55:47Speaker 3: I'm gonna get you. And that statement he's saying, as
- 55:50Speaker 3: long as I owe you. That's when, like before the
- 55:53Speaker 3: show started, I was telling you him that he's one
- 55:56Speaker 3: of those guys who his whole stance is is you
- 56:00Speaker 3: can do those kind of things I like to immediately,
- 56:06Speaker 3: Big Kenny, or you could leave and I forget I instantly.
- 56:10Speaker 3: Hey man, I can turn around. I got your money.
- 56:13Speaker 3: I don't want I don't want to owe you mentally anytime.
- 56:18Speaker 3: That producer, which is his nature, state as I keep saying,
- 56:22Speaker 3: and I asked that before the show, right, why are
- 56:25Speaker 3: you as long as I owe you, that's you'll never
- 56:28Speaker 3: go broke. I'm just making a quote. No, that's not
- 56:33Speaker 3: your quote. It's not my quote. That's how that's your
- 56:36Speaker 3: sting that that was as long as I you bro
- 56:44Speaker 3: That was that was General George Patton. That was young.
- 56:50Speaker 3: And the thing with some of these cases, especially Mark
- 56:53Speaker 3: three Marcus Morris, his statement reads as though they just petty,
- 57:01Speaker 3: petty pity, and now this is I've never understood when
- 57:05Speaker 3: you owe me, why is it petty?
- 57:08Speaker 6: And this is the other part of defending the action
- 57:11Speaker 6: is when he says that had I known basically that
- 57:15Speaker 6: y'all were gonna be petty, I would have paid the money.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Right then, Well, why are you taking out a marker?
- 57:21Speaker 3: Lucky that it is San Bruno to come frock.
- 57:23Speaker 6: I'm saying, why are you taking out a marker if
- 57:25Speaker 6: you've got the money on you, You just thought you
- 57:27Speaker 6: were gonna And that's what makes it sound like their
- 57:31Speaker 6: right in their assessment.
- 57:32Speaker 3: You thought that your.
- 57:36Speaker 6: Celebrity status and your being at our casino meant so
- 57:40Speaker 6: much to us that we would let you ride with
- 57:43Speaker 6: two hundred and fifty thousand dollars worth of charges and
- 57:46Speaker 6: losses in our establishment.
- 57:49Speaker 3: Did he lucky he didn't get a knock on his door? Yeah,
- 57:51Speaker 3: I mean could have been that. Yeah, it's just the
- 57:54Speaker 3: old days. And I guess the arrogance of his answer
- 57:58Speaker 3: kind of these to the arrogance of why you just
- 58:01Speaker 3: didn't pay the people when you owe them? Oh, why
- 58:05Speaker 3: did you take the market in the first place? That's
- 58:08Speaker 3: my credit card? Yeah, if you got it like that.
- 58:11Speaker 3: Do you think that maybe he heard someone else? Probably
- 58:14Speaker 3: I didn't have to pay him. He's thinking it because
- 58:16Speaker 3: of who he was. I'm gonna try to pull the
- 58:18Speaker 3: same thing and see that.
- 58:19Speaker 23: Well.
- 58:19Speaker 3: I know one thing about athletes. A lot of them
- 58:22Speaker 3: go into I lost one hundred and fifty I'm not
- 58:26Speaker 3: gonna dig into the money. I have a certain team
- 58:30Speaker 3: owes me some check on Halloween, and when I get
- 58:36Speaker 3: that check, I'll pay them.
- 58:38Speaker 27: I do that.
- 58:39Speaker 3: That's an athletic I can only speak for athletes. They
- 58:42Speaker 3: have that kind of mindset. I'm an old big Kenny
- 58:45Speaker 3: one hundred and fifty. I could pay him today, but
- 58:48Speaker 3: I'm gonna wait till that Nike check come on. Performers
- 58:51Speaker 3: are the same way, man. Look I got to sell
- 58:54Speaker 3: on the night. Now, I got your fifty dollars, but
- 58:57Speaker 3: I don't want to give you the fifty dollars I
- 58:59Speaker 3: got when I know you can just get the fifty
- 59:01Speaker 3: dollars later. So you know we'll be back more to
- 59:05Speaker 3: Sports doc Show right after this and your tweet up.
- 59:10Speaker 5: Get up at seat, get your feet a treat and
- 59:13Speaker 5: you'll understand why this deed that teelady, don't.
- 59:21Speaker 10: Go awayne More of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne
- 59:24Speaker 10: Gantidius comming up next.
- 59:26Speaker 28: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 59:30Speaker 28: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 59:32Speaker 28: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, where
- 59:36Speaker 28: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 59:38Speaker 28: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 59:42Speaker 28: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 59:45Speaker 28: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 59:49Speaker 28: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 59:52Speaker 28: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 59:55Speaker 28: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 59:58Speaker 28: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 1:00:00Speaker 28: being that good role model as well. That model's good
- 1:00:04Speaker 28: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 1:00:07Speaker 28: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 1:00:10Speaker 28: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back

- 1:00:57Speaker 4: That council Fun Council poet comes, I'm gonna go on
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: the way.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Spoyshock Show. I'm the sports Shock
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: Wadne Gay. Good morney to you out there and listening land.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Great show going so far. Hall of Fame game tonight,
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: the Lions taking on the Chargers. Campton Hall of Fame
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: Weekend going on starting tonight the Cowboys. I was reading
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: our man Clarence Hill Junior. I saw something where he
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: said it was too many fights. Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: stops practice and makes the Cowboys run. What y'all doing
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: down there? COMANCHI, because first of all, that's a big move.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: So Brian Schottenheimer is doing a good job because he
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: must have the Vets, must have had a good meeting
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: with them, because rarely can you even get a team
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: to condition. One of the few things perks up going
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: to the league is I don't know what you're talking about.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: I don't do that. We don't do updowns and not
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: about to do nothing. No hills, No, we can do
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: some practice gassers. No whatever we're gonna run. That's high
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: school and college. Now we're gonna run. Do some hills
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: when we're training. No steps, but practice, We practice, and
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: then we go who is who is when we training?
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Who is we the other player? Or if we're there
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: like in the off season training. No, I'm talking about
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: during the during the during the o t as we
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: we out here, let's run these suicides. Yeah, we do
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: all that, but once training stamp camp. You know what
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: I'm saying, were in training camp. Let's let's go. That's
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: what we're training. Let's run these suicide get on the line.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: Go I'm good. I mean my whistle little even my
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: running shoes. Let me go inside and get mine. Hey,
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: where you going get back on this line? You I'm
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: going to get my runner shoes. Hey, that's one of
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: the persons. Other pro We got to do all that.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: And he keeps calling me Kenny, So good job there,
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: Brian Schattenheimer and and but what I'm saying is in
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: these situations, just like any time you hear like the
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: coach did all this, trust me, he a lot of
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: it is. I went to Michael, I went to Magic,
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: I went to Tom, I went to Tim. We talked
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: about it. Hey, man, when I get to practice some
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: of these days, I just need you to go along
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: with it. Because when Patrick Mahomes go put his foot
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: on the line, when coach said run right now, we're
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: all obligated right about to walk in till Pat said
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: I'm on the line. Coach, I mean the other fifty
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: two of us got to go get on the line.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: That really is how it works. That's why the quarterback
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: the starting picture, the Star basketball player. They always keiki
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: hahih and with the head coach because that's what he
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: can do. If Lebron go put his foot on the line, Luca,
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: you have to go. That's where the famous quote of practice.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Nobody really got it take it as because he just
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: kept saying itself. The whole story behind that is the
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: coach is trying to connect with Iverson because if you
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: do it, no one can skip line. Right, Hey, I
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: was here at six Where were you? Bombs? It's basically
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: what when y'all walk in at six thirty and a
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: already got a lather going, right, I can I can
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: tell some but now uh and you go to explaining, yes,
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: bring you his playbook because hey, I was already here.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: That's and that's why they one of Dale Brown. That's
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: that whole thing, because that's how and they set it
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: up for you. They're very tricky. I've had them come
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: to me, Hey, I'm a ripple little Hey today okay,
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: it'll allowed today, okay, because if I don't take offen,
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: then you just have to take it too. But that's
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: how they're gonna. Look, he ain't saying that. I can't
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: say nothing, so but good job for Brion Shoenheimer getting
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: the team, getting them in shape. I just saw that
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: quote from Clarence Hill. We've had him on the show
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: a couple of times. Stephen A. Smith demand severe punishment
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: from Bryce Harper, the commissioner. Rob Manford. I was up
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: visiting the Phillies. Bryce Harper told him to get out
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: of the locker room. Uh un he was if he
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: came here to talk about contracts. He didn't want to
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: hear nothing about that. Stephen A. Smith demand severe punishment
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: because well, you're never supposed to talk to anyone disrespectful.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: All I can say, because I wasn't there to know
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: what Bryce, I can say this about the commissioners. Sometimes
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: you forget Rob Manford works for the owners. Roger Goodell
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: works for the owners. Right, Adam Silver works for the owners.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: There are the commissioner, but they are paid. That's why
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: each team gives them a million dollars to be the commissioner.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: That's why their salaries are so high. When you see
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: Roger Goodell on he's thirty two million. That means that
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: each team, each tenk gave him a million dollars to
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: be the government commissioner of and set the rules and
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: all that, but his whole main purpose is the owners
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: and the brand, not the players. So if you're wondering
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: why there's not this homage by the players, because you're
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: you're not You didn't walk in here for me. You're
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: not going when y'all go to the meeting, you're on
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: the other side of the table. You and your ten
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: lawyers over here in the NFLPA and their lawyers over here,
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: they are taught to negotiate a contract. So I just
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: want to say, and that's not excusing Bryce how I
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: don't know what happened. They're about to do some contract
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: talks in something right.
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: And it's the commissioner is visiting each team and they've
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: been discussing possibly being having a salary cap or for
- 1:07:52Speaker 7: Major League Baseball, and.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: The players are.
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: Very against that because that would that would kind of
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: limit their their prospects or what kind of contract they
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: can get.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: So that that led to the outburst from Bryce Harper.
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: And I understand that, and I believe that's just basic
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: common human courtesy to be kind to people, to not
- 1:08:25Speaker 6: be rude. But when we're talking about a professional setting,
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: you may be the CEO of the company, but we
- 1:08:34Speaker 6: work on the production line. It's ten minutes before we
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: clock in. We get in our safety goggles and glasses
- 1:08:41Speaker 6: and gloves and stuff on. This isn't really the time
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: that you would come in and want to talk. Well,
- 1:08:48Speaker 6: and that's what I'm just painting a picture, not excusing.
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: Right. I can't say stephen A is wrong or any
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: of them, because I don't I didn't get the fool,
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: But I do know. If Bryce Harper is in the
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: Philadelphia's locker room, if this ain't the first visit, then
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: somebody from another team had already informed him why man
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: for it is coming, and that's what And then he
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: looked back and locker room like, no, man, you get here,
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: and you know for baseball guys, you know what would
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: make it better salary cap what you know if you
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: just think about it now, if you really think about it,
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: Harper probably like you said, someone called him from a He.
- 1:09:34Speaker 9: Said, may this guy came in here politic and you know,
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: really and he's on the other side and you you're
- 1:09:42Speaker 9: messing up with the union. I mean, you can't come
- 1:09:44Speaker 9: in here talk I don't have my representation there. You
- 1:09:47Speaker 9: cannot come in here talking to me without my representatives.
- 1:09:50Speaker 9: So we won't hear nothing. And that's why I'm sharing that.
- 1:09:52Speaker 9: People forget that whoever is the commissioner. Sure he's the
- 1:09:56Speaker 9: biggest wig, but he is not He's not for the players.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: Yeah right, he's the guy who's trying to keep the
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: players from achieving whatever the players want.
- 1:10:08Speaker 9: And you know that was why it was so hard
- 1:10:10Speaker 9: for baseball when Bud Siling was the commissioner and a owner.
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: You the owner and the commissioner. So those were some
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: dark times for baseball.
- 1:10:20Speaker 9: And now who knows what their union and commission what
- 1:10:25Speaker 9: kind of relationship they have, and why I comes and
- 1:10:29Speaker 9: I can.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: Tell you doing Katrina, when they sent us to San Antonio,
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: when both commissioners, the PA commissioner and Gene Upshaw came
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: in and Paul taglerbu they came in at two different
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: things times, but it was four, six, eight weeks into
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: the season. I asked both of them, why it took
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: y'all so long to get here? We've been out here
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: for six weeks. If we were the cowboys, say it again,
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: but since were just aints at that time, New Orleans,
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: the who that you send us down here? How are
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: we down here? And neither one of you we four six,
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: seven weeks into the season. We're doing something that nobody else.
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: Somebody was supposed to be down here on a day
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: to day documentation of what's going on. So find ourselves
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: in this again. We know how to help. Right, you're
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: asking me to win. Riding on a yellow bus, the
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: practice on a baseball field. I'm not telling you it's
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: this your fault. I'm telling you, y'all need to witness
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: this so this doesn't Maybe you could put a better
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: plan in next time or help. We're lifting weights in
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: the parking lot like we circus animals, and it's week
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: seven and you want to come in and pull us
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: all in here? How you guys holding up what? I'm
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: back on cocaine. I was holding it together in New Orleans.
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: I was. I was halfway holding together, but now I'm
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: full blown. Don't go awayne.

- 1:20:25Speaker 3: got a series of they found another little ten year
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: old and about to do a whole scene as though
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: Harry is not still alive. Real Harry Potter is still
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: alive though, but he's in the invisibility. Yeah, they hit
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: him in the cloak of invisibility. We can't see him,
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: so you know he came up. So we gonna make
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: all that money over again. Dumble Door and everybody else,
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: call me what you want to baby dumble Door. If
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: I'm a Hackworth, you know all that quidditch. I did
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: see real quick something that stood out. I mean, yesterday,
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: Jamie Lee Curtis, he said this generation the genocide of
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: a generation. He said, the this generation of women. Plastic
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: surgery killed this generation.
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: You guys who said this Jamie Lee Curtis, Yes, well
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: I would. I would ask you what do you think
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: this generation will look like in twenty years? Well, I mean,
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: because you see, I don't know what they're gonna look
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: I don't remember their original look.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: I've seen some of these women seven eight years post
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: enhancement surgery, and you look at them kind of like,
- 1:21:47Speaker 6: AH made a lot more since back then. So imagine
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: this same body in fifteen twenty years. We don't know
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: how these uh we saw how the silicone breast implants
- 1:21:58Speaker 6: had begun to leak in add to health problems for
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: women until the technology caught up.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: So we don't know where any of this will go.
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: And there there's entire generations of women that you just said,
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: we don't know what they used to look like. We
- 1:22:14Speaker 6: don't know what they're supposed to look like. We don't
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: they they've never been their original sale.
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: If you had a child with them, you wouldn't know
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: if the kid came out looking like Remember the.
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: Man in China actually sued because he had a baby
- 1:22:27Speaker 6: that looked like the mother did before she had all
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: of the enhancement, and he was like, I ain't the kid,
- 1:22:33Speaker 6: I want it, and and he sued and actually got
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: money from the family.
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: So we'll be back with more of the Sports Show
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: right after this.
- 1:22:54Speaker 10: Don't Go awayne Bore of the Sports John Show with
- 1:22:57Speaker 10: Wayne dandyis coming up next.
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance.
- 1:23:03Speaker 11: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:23:07Speaker 11: piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:23:10Speaker 11: have life insurance.
- 1:23:11Speaker 31: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:23:13Speaker 31: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 1:23:15Speaker 31: forever life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:23:21Speaker 31: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:23:23Speaker 31: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:23:25Speaker 31: survive without me. That's when I'm inde an appointment with
- 1:23:27Speaker 31: the insurance informant.
- 1:23:28Speaker 11: Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family
- 1:23:31Speaker 11: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:23:34Speaker 31: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:23:36Speaker 31: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:23:38Speaker 11: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:23:41Speaker 11: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:23:43Speaker 11: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:23:45Speaker 11: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:23:49Speaker 11: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:23:54Speaker 11: Log on today benefits or bills dot com. That's benefits
- 1:23:58Speaker 11: or bills dot com.
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: My mom has taken up going to the park to
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: practice yoga. My dad's going to a club, but not
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: a book club, a sofa club. Finding new hobbies comes
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: with age.
- 1:24:11Speaker 16: My mom has started getting lost and not knowing where she's.
- 1:24:14Speaker 24: Going, Becoming lust or disoriented doesn't Confusion with time or
- 1:24:18Speaker 24: place may be a sign of Alzheimer's. An early diagnosis
- 1:24:21Speaker 24: can help improve the quality of life for you loved one.
- 1:24:24Speaker 24: Learn the warning signs of Alzheimer's at tensigns dot org,
- 1:24:28Speaker 24: brought to you by the Alzheimer's Association and the AD Council.
- 1:24:31Speaker 27: Hurting the game, we tough it out. Feel exhausted we
- 1:24:35Speaker 27: push on feeling down. We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps,
- 1:24:40Speaker 27: but there are times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress
- 1:24:44Speaker 27: gets to us and we need to talk to someone
- 1:24:46Speaker 27: about what we're really going through. So we're going to
- 1:24:49Speaker 27: reach out because sometimes mental health is not a one
- 1:24:52Speaker 27: person job. Is it Love Yourmind Today?
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Dot org?
- 1:24:55Speaker 27: That's Love your Mind Today dot org. Brought to you
- 1:24:58Speaker 27: by the Huntsman Mental Health Institute, a head counsel.
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: And now back to the sports gibt Wayne.
- 1:25:07Speaker 28: Gandy Player's Lounge.
- 1:25:13Speaker 21: We've been given full access to the player's lounge on
- 1:25:16Speaker 21: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: Two.
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: Welcome to the Sports Stock Show. I'm the sports Shock
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: Wayne Gandy, Shannon Sharp ESPN. What we kind of felt
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: like was going to take place. Uh, they were going
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: to wait until his case was cleared up and see
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: which direction this was able to go. Maybe with a
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: innocent or a victory excuse me, maybe they could have
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: brought him back, but with a settlement settlement kind of screams,
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: I just want this to go away kind of mindset.
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: Shannon Sharp now will not be back on ESPN. I'm
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: Shannon's career taking a big hit we're talking about as
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: a young man that was on the path of a
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: newly one hundred million dollars deal. Reports are that kind
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: of really all that has kind of gone away Shaysha
- 1:26:52Speaker 3: media is what that would have all been under. He's
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: still doing his nightly show. He was on there talking
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: about he wish this didn't happen because his brother Sterling
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: is being inducted into the Hall of Fame this weekend.
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: I wonder and hope if I was Shannon, I would
- 1:27:14Speaker 3: minimize even being up there. I remember Shannon as a
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: Hall of Famer himself, but at least for a year,
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: I would show up to the ceremony, but I would
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: try to, you know, because he talked about his brother
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: enjoying it, and I think, no matter how what's going
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: on with him in the room, it could just bring
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: that the stairs in the room down. So it'll be
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: good to see how he handles that. The way he's
- 1:27:46Speaker 3: handling this case is he's kind of going and moving
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: as though there is no spotlight on him. But now
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: we know the idea of what's going on with Shannon's
- 1:27:59Speaker 3: career or where do you guys sit with this. I
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: knew it was gonna I knew he would not be back.
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: I mean, like we said, not even I don't think
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: ESPN's call it was we are Disney owned company, Shannon.
- 1:28:19Speaker 6: We like you, we just can't keep you around. And
- 1:28:23Speaker 6: as far as his brother's concerned, timing is everything. It's
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: so unfortunate because they can't. They're not going to switch
- 1:28:32Speaker 6: the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. It's your brother doing
- 1:28:35Speaker 6: something that, from what I understand, is the first time
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: brothers will have done this, be in the Hall of
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: Fame at the same time, or have two brothers inducted
- 1:28:44Speaker 6: to the Hall of Fame.
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: So you want to be there. It would be almost
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: unimaginable to not be there. But you did what you did.
- 1:28:55Speaker 3: It is the reality. So we'll just have to trudge
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: through this as best he can comagine. I know we
- 1:29:04Speaker 3: talked about it last week and I thought he might
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: be back. But with all of the information that came
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: out with you would speculate on how much the the
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: settlement was, uh it it seemed like it was too
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: much for pre ESPN to want to deal with, and
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: so I wasn't really surprised when they made the decision
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: going forward. I mean, he has the he has this
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: his uh, his podcast network.
- 1:29:40Speaker 7: I don't know if the deal he was going to
- 1:29:43Speaker 7: get with whichever company it was, he might have to
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: that that might be put on the back burner and
- 1:29:52Speaker 7: he'll have to just kind of ride this out. Like
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: the the shows that he has are still popular enough
- 1:29:59Speaker 7: to where there he'll still that his face will still
- 1:30:01Speaker 7: be out there, and who knows, maybe maybe FS one
- 1:30:06Speaker 7: will call him back.
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: But like you said, he I did.
- 1:30:13Speaker 9: I saw the show last night where he was talking
- 1:30:15Speaker 9: about wish this wouldn't happen on the weekend with his
- 1:30:17Speaker 9: brother and overshadowing, and thought about that, and I'm sort
- 1:30:22Speaker 9: of like with you, Uh, you have to make a decision.
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: Do I go or do I stay?
- 1:30:27Speaker 9: You know, do I not just show up the whole weekend,
- 1:30:30Speaker 9: because like I said, it's gonna make the room a
- 1:30:34Speaker 9: little different.
- 1:30:34Speaker 3: And then also at the same time, I mean, you
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: still have your business. You still hopefully that you could
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: continue to networks.
- 1:30:42Speaker 9: You see where Chad Johnson is still on the ESPN,
- 1:30:46Speaker 9: so you hopefully that you still could get something out
- 1:30:48Speaker 9: of this situation where you can try to turn some
- 1:30:51Speaker 9: of this negative around. But as far as going forward
- 1:30:55Speaker 9: right now, he just got to ride ride it out
- 1:30:58Speaker 9: until they decided, you know, let you back in or.
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: And why I say that is like, I definitely I'm
- 1:31:07Speaker 3: just putting myself in his shoes. Most likely him and
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: Sterling with the honor of Shannon already been in in
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: the Hall of Fame, Shannon probably would be the person
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: that was going to introduce him put his jacket on him,
- 1:31:21Speaker 3: because he is a Hall of Famer, So he can
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: do both. He can he can get up there, he
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: can introduce him. He can be the Hall of Famer
- 1:31:29Speaker 3: that shows him his busk, he can be the Hall
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: of Famer that puts his jacket on. Now, what you
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: have to imagine is you're talking about fan friendly family.
- 1:31:41Speaker 3: So when you walk out, you have to brace you
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: your brother, his family. That it could be some booing, yes,
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: because you're as if you're sitting there in an audience
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: and there's a lot of people, and it's based on
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: your lineup. If you're early, everybody's still there. You know,
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: if you're late, people kind of drift the way that's
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: not maybe of your team. That's how it kind of works.
- 1:32:10Speaker 3: So when I say that, it's like I don't want
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: Shennon I would still if he called me an ad,
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: I said, man, go just minimize the public's view of you.
- 1:32:22Speaker 3: So it might be that you just go just for
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: the ceremony and you know now that time and don't
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: go to his party. Well, you know, don't go in
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: this because people are going to be judging that.
- 1:32:34Speaker 6: Well, if the one time, that if the one If
- 1:32:37Speaker 6: you're only seeing one time and that one time is
- 1:32:40Speaker 6: the most critical time when you're introduced, when your gold
- 1:32:43Speaker 6: jacket is put on, doesn't that just kind of trump
- 1:32:46Speaker 6: everything else because nobody's really covering the party like that.
- 1:32:51Speaker 6: I don't think it'll have the same visibility. Nobody's going
- 1:32:54Speaker 6: to cover the meet and greet afterwards the same way
- 1:32:58Speaker 6: they're going to cover They're going to cover it the
- 1:33:00Speaker 6: same paparazzi's everywhere. Well, I'm saying at the say, for instance,
- 1:33:05Speaker 6: at a meet and Greek, would it be more of
- 1:33:07Speaker 6: a people who are supportive of Sterling? What I'm a
- 1:33:13Speaker 6: little more relaxed with his brother and what's going on
- 1:33:18Speaker 6: because I'm accepting this as Sterling's night. But in the
- 1:33:21Speaker 6: stadium where we're unveiling the bust and putting on the jackets,
- 1:33:25Speaker 6: that's the last thing. That's the absolute last thing. Okay,
- 1:33:29Speaker 6: So even if I show up to that, that doesn't
- 1:33:32Speaker 6: overshadow everything. Even if I only show up to that.
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: Well, if I'm going to tear down a moment in
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: any kind of way, I'm going to still be part of.
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: Nothing in life will ever replace the picture of him
- 1:33:50Speaker 3: putting his jacket on his brother. They all you want.
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: This is this is for sharp, This is for the sharps. Yeah,
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: this is this is this is history. Yeah, this is
- 1:34:03Speaker 3: for the shot. And it makes me I don't care
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: wet in spite of everything. Yeah, I'll find Comanche Greg
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: and have him drown the sound. But I have to
- 1:34:14Speaker 3: have the moment of that, and that might be the time.
- 1:34:18Speaker 3: Because Shannon is allowed on stage all the perks of
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: what he already gets as a Hall of Famer, he
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: can sit amongst the crowd and it's not like, guy,
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: everybody up there, you got some you know, the LT
- 1:34:31Speaker 3: So it's not like you're in a group. It's the
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: freshest wound. Yeah yeah, fresh man in a more visible society. Yeah,
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: so you know, and you like the talk, Lawrence Taylor,
- 1:34:48Speaker 3: A lot of those guys they Shannon liked to.
- 1:34:52Speaker 9: Talk just like talking still on the club. That's why
- 1:34:55Speaker 9: I was gonna ask you. Also, he made a statement
- 1:34:58Speaker 9: own clubs. I said, he knew about this a week ago,
- 1:35:03Speaker 9: and he asked ESPN can they hold off after like
- 1:35:07Speaker 9: you said this for my brother?
- 1:35:10Speaker 3: Do you think that they was like, forget that, we're
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: gonna I don't care. Well, tonight is football season, so
- 1:35:19Speaker 3: I need to let everybody know where they're going to be.
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: All you people that keep watching a first tape wondering
- 1:35:25Speaker 3: if he's coming back, I need to get all that
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: off the board. Yeah, today is today. This is still business.
- 1:35:31Speaker 21: Now.
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: I'm still running the business of a sports networking You remember,
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: I don't know you. You're not a lifer at ESPN.
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: You just got here a couple of months ago. I
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: don't really owe you much of anything. And then this
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: is you know, I actually hired you with this case looming,
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: and and so I've shown.
- 1:35:47Speaker 6: Love right and unfortunately, sometimes we have to live with
- 1:35:51Speaker 6: the things that we've done.
- 1:35:53Speaker 3: That's if anybody knows that here, it's me. Sometimes you
- 1:35:57Speaker 3: just did what you did and it is what it is.
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: And the one thing I threw out. The couple of
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: friends hit me yesterday about this, all of this has
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: been building up. I know we've been doing this show,
- 1:36:09Speaker 3: what almost fifteen years now, and I've been sharing like
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: all this stuff is starting to bite the media. The acting,
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: like the guys that they hired, they were taking the
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: fame over the character, the character, the morals standing and
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: a lot of those. Domino, Michael Strahan had character, he
- 1:36:40Speaker 3: was a character high. He didn't have all that don't
- 1:36:44Speaker 3: make nobody perfect. So this is not this just has
- 1:36:46Speaker 3: to do just like because the bad producer said, so
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: now you put Chad o Chosenko on the show. Now
- 1:36:55Speaker 3: we know the kind of colorful career any moment, Yeah,
- 1:36:59Speaker 3: you got more up at something movement movement. But I'm
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: gonna can pop up about Chad Johnson right at anymore
- 1:37:09Speaker 3: but that now, but that was Johnson, I'm o your
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: now anymore.
- 1:37:15Speaker 30: Yeah.
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: See that's when I was out saying that's who you hired.
- 1:37:19Speaker 3: That you have to sit there like you Can'tryan Clark
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: and and who is this right here, right here we're
- 1:37:26Speaker 3: watching the right in that corner. Dominque Fox Fox. I
- 1:37:29Speaker 3: played with him one year with the Falcon. They ain't
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: about to do nothing. I ain't got no the wife
- 1:37:36Speaker 3: the wife still packing their lunch. Ain't they don't do
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: the like this. The guys they are they like whe
- 1:37:44Speaker 3: still packing the lunch, have it running there, running around
- 1:37:48Speaker 3: the house, have a good day running They just running around.
- 1:37:51Speaker 3: They running around high. Meanwhile, meanwhile, you go get Chad
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: John he won't even come in there. I'm not saying
- 1:37:58Speaker 3: he's still trying to figure out how he don't get
- 1:38:00Speaker 3: home at nine o'clock in the morning. Like a what
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: I must say? Mor to Sports Jock Show right after.
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: This they've written right on the side.

- 1:40:00Speaker 26: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:40:03Speaker 26: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 1:40:07Speaker 26: with illicit drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 1:40:10Speaker 26: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 1:40:14Speaker 26: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 1:40:17Speaker 26: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it is

- 1:40:31Speaker 3: And now back to the sports giant Wayne Gamby.
- 1:40:44Speaker 12: It's my.
- 1:40:55Speaker 3: Locks are you can sit a sports joint? I'll sing
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: Welcome back to the show. Gilbert Arenas, who has made
- 1:41:06Speaker 3: himself after his career, a media personality as Gilbert to
- 1:41:15Speaker 3: read Arena's Agent zero, one of those guys that he
- 1:41:18Speaker 3: had a little window of time where he balled out
- 1:41:22Speaker 3: and then similar to like Lance Stevenson said about his career,
- 1:41:29Speaker 3: seemed like once Gilbert got that check, he forgot how
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: to score, Like it started becoming about everything else except
- 1:41:39Speaker 3: playing basketball. But a man with a lot of to say.
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: His most famous moment to me is pulling guns in
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: the locker room. You know you don't get that all
- 1:41:52Speaker 3: day playing cards once again and now being back in
- 1:41:57Speaker 3: the spotlight. I've rested for legedly running illegal poker games
- 1:42:02Speaker 3: with suspected member of Israeli crime group. He was. It
- 1:42:08Speaker 3: was a federal indictment. He did seem to get out
- 1:42:13Speaker 3: over the last ten twelve hours. We will see how
- 1:42:18Speaker 3: this holds for him. The whole thing went down in
- 1:42:22Speaker 3: a California Ensino, California mansion that Gilbert seemed from the
- 1:42:29Speaker 3: last quote I saw throwing it off that all he
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: did was rent the mansion. He didn't have anything to
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: do with the rest of the setup. But when you
- 1:42:40Speaker 3: talk about Fed's coming, we have all ways discussed. You
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: start being in a situation where either you plead or
- 1:42:50Speaker 3: you find yourself in court where based on their ability
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: to gather information, a high success rate as far as
- 1:43:03Speaker 3: bringing criminals to justice. I know one thing. We've seen
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: a big uptick in these last couple of years with
- 1:43:14Speaker 3: athletes and gambling. This year long, we've talked four or five.
- 1:43:20Speaker 3: We just talked about Marcus Morris. We've been talking about
- 1:43:23Speaker 3: the Porter young kid for We've talked about college guys
- 1:43:28Speaker 3: suspected of throwing games and point shaving. All of this
- 1:43:35Speaker 3: seemed to either find its way to mass media or
- 1:43:42Speaker 3: start really becoming a problem with the validation of sports
- 1:43:46Speaker 3: gambling as a whole. It seems like when it was
- 1:43:52Speaker 3: a little when it was a river between like, okay,
- 1:43:58Speaker 3: athletes can't gamp the country, you can't really gamble. It
- 1:44:01Speaker 3: seems like you forgot athletes are naturally trained in a
- 1:44:09Speaker 3: sense to find themselves gambling. Everything is I bet you
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: I can run faster, I bet you I can lift more,
- 1:44:15Speaker 3: bet you can jump higher. Competitive, it's everything about your
- 1:44:18Speaker 3: whole natural training is to put some on the line.
- 1:44:22Speaker 3: We've seen I mean, we've seen that with if you
- 1:44:26Speaker 3: watched the Last Dance documentary Michael Jordan, like with flipping quarters,
- 1:44:30Speaker 3: Like they put money on that. So it's like on
- 1:44:33Speaker 3: every little thing athletes are chasing that they had to
- 1:44:38Speaker 3: have that competitive streak that they'll find any way to satisfy.
- 1:44:43Speaker 6: And now I don't know if we can put it
- 1:44:45Speaker 6: all at the feet of legalized gambling on sports, because
- 1:44:49Speaker 6: Gilbert had an issue when he actually pulled the gun.
- 1:44:53Speaker 6: It was about cards or a bet or something like that.
- 1:44:56Speaker 6: And I don't want to judge because we all pulled
- 1:45:00Speaker 6: on somebody by the bet. Am I right?
- 1:45:02Speaker 3: Am?
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: I right?
- 1:45:04Speaker 3: We don't know. Well, making something legal makes people even
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: more emboldened to do it, even if it is not
- 1:45:12Speaker 3: still not seen as as savory. The more and more
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: we have things like marijuana haven't just been invented. People
- 1:45:23Speaker 3: have always been smoking it. Now people just have no
- 1:45:27Speaker 3: respect about when they smoke it right, and they're not
- 1:45:29Speaker 3: they're fired up. This is the concerts in the middle
- 1:45:32Speaker 3: of the concert right outside the right at a gospel concept.
- 1:45:38Speaker 3: It used to be cool. It used to be cool
- 1:45:40Speaker 3: for Rick Jane, but now Franklin like, ah, be kind
- 1:45:49Speaker 3: of like right, something you supposed to keep. And look
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: how Gilbert is shading. He's shading this with yeah, it's
- 1:45:55Speaker 3: gambling and there's a federal charge. But all I did
- 1:45:59Speaker 3: was rent ambling spot. They call that the house and
- 1:46:04Speaker 3: taking the cut. And see why they call you see.
- 1:46:11Speaker 9: If if Gilbert wouldn't have had this like cards in
- 1:46:14Speaker 9: the past, following him the card games, the prior situations,
- 1:46:18Speaker 9: I might would say, Man, you was just renting the
- 1:46:20Speaker 9: house out.
- 1:46:21Speaker 3: You probably didn't know who this Israeli gentlemination.
- 1:46:25Speaker 9: But seeing not what I'm saying is but seeing knowing
- 1:46:30Speaker 9: that they have these high state games, knowing that these
- 1:46:32Speaker 9: things go on, and knowing that you have been in
- 1:46:37Speaker 9: a situation with the NBA where you've been suspended from
- 1:46:40Speaker 9: playing cards and guns.
- 1:46:42Speaker 3: We know that you play around in.
- 1:46:43Speaker 6: That in that in that Hogan, And for me, I
- 1:46:46Speaker 6: would imagine that two things feed a room and Israeli
- 1:46:50Speaker 6: crime figure are the two priorities here. And Gilbert might
- 1:46:55Speaker 6: have got drawn in because look, we know you subject,
- 1:47:00Speaker 6: you're believable running in this circle. We need somebody who
- 1:47:06Speaker 6: can gather us some information. Because again that's how they
- 1:47:09Speaker 6: do it. They get somebody that they've got something on
- 1:47:12Speaker 6: to corroborate or cooperate. And Gilbert, look, now they'll believe
- 1:47:16Speaker 6: you renting the house. They won't believe what's his name,
- 1:47:20Speaker 6: Ryan Clark.
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: Everybody, I'll know it's a setup if Ryan Clark start
- 1:47:24Speaker 3: renting the house. But if you rent it. We'll definitely
- 1:47:26Speaker 3: believe that. Now his bond could just simply be that
- 1:47:29Speaker 3: he's not really he doesn't have a risk. Yeah right,
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: it's not a flight him getting a bond is not. No,
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: he's doing like he's off the hook. No, No, that don't.
- 1:47:42Speaker 3: That means you got enough money to get out and
- 1:47:44Speaker 3: we didn't really have No, No, they are history to
- 1:47:48Speaker 3: hold against you. You're right, you're not a flight risk.
- 1:47:50Speaker 3: You're not a danger to yourself or and you have
- 1:47:53Speaker 3: a community and you haven't threatened no witnesses. But whatever
- 1:47:56Speaker 3: year is looming could still be looming against him. You
- 1:47:59Speaker 3: just get the get out till we send you to jail.
- 1:48:01Speaker 3: That's what bond is pretty much. And and all these
- 1:48:04Speaker 3: kind of gambling, fraud, NFL, NBA, steal in insurance, all
- 1:48:10Speaker 3: that stuff is just about what the next person is
- 1:48:13Speaker 3: gonna say when they're interviewed.
- 1:48:15Speaker 9: When they come to ask what do you want to
- 1:48:18Speaker 9: tell us? Well, it started like one night when Big
- 1:48:21Speaker 9: Kenny called me. He said, see how my name, I'm
- 1:48:25Speaker 9: still on the run. I'm still That's what I'm saying.
- 1:48:27Speaker 9: I'm mister big Chess. I'm still out the country somewhere.
- 1:48:33Speaker 9: See that's how that's how you're getting bond immediately.
- 1:48:36Speaker 3: We twelve years, we twelve saying Kenneth Johnson approached We
- 1:48:41Speaker 3: twelve hours into a federal scene and he already out
- 1:48:44Speaker 3: on barner. Sir, Yeah, it's smartings. You gotta wonder. We'll
- 1:48:47Speaker 3: be back when the Sports.
- 1:48:48Speaker 10: Jo Don't Go Away, or of the Sports Josh Show
- 1:49:03Speaker 10: with Wayne Dan videos dumbing up mass.
- 1:49:06Speaker 26: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 1:49:09Speaker 26: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:49:13Speaker 26: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 1:49:16Speaker 26: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 1:49:19Speaker 26: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 1:49:24Speaker 26: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 1:49:27Speaker 26: This isn't an AD to scare you, but it isn't
- 1:49:29Speaker 26: ad to make you think twice. Get the facts. Go
- 1:49:32Speaker 26: to real deal on fentanyl dot com. This message is
- 1:49:35Speaker 26: brought to you by the AD Council.
- 1:49:36Speaker 11: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:49:40Speaker 11: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:49:43Speaker 11: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:49:47Speaker 11: life insurance.
- 1:49:47Speaker 31: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:49:49Speaker 31: just getting started with our family and thought we live
- 1:49:51Speaker 31: forever life insurance.
- 1:49:53Speaker 3: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:49:55Speaker 3: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:49:57Speaker 31: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:49:59Speaker 31: Bill's pil I was worried how my family would survive
- 1:50:01Speaker 31: without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with the
- 1:50:03Speaker 31: insurance informant.
- 1:50:04Speaker 11: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:50:07Speaker 11: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:50:10Speaker 31: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:50:12Speaker 31: leave my family that bills or benefits.
- 1:50:14Speaker 11: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:50:17Speaker 11: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:50:19Speaker 11: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:50:21Speaker 11: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:50:25Speaker 11: two options, benefits or bills? Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:50:30Speaker 11: Log on today Benefits or bills dot com. That's benefits
- 1:50:34Speaker 11: orbills dot com.
- 1:50:39Speaker 3: And now back to the sports job, Wayne Gandy.
- 1:50:44Speaker 24: Now it's time for a school board when we put
- 1:50:47Speaker 24: a spin on life and sports and how they intermingle.
- 1:50:52Speaker 3: On the sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy. I'm looking
- 1:50:58Speaker 3: oh right to go be sire. You must shoose sire.
- 1:51:05Speaker 3: I'm gonna stop till ivery time we wrapped up. Correct.
- 1:51:10Speaker 3: Welcome back to the sport Shock Show. I'm the Sports
- 1:51:12Speaker 3: Shock Wayne Gandee. Interesting once again the level of respect
- 1:51:20Speaker 3: of just gatherings, Like people just don't respect gathering anymore.
- 1:51:29Speaker 3: W NBA game Valkyries dreamed other night, Tuesday night, someone
- 1:51:35Speaker 3: deciding that it would be funny to bring a sex
- 1:51:39Speaker 3: toy throw it on the floor in the fourth quarter.
- 1:51:44Speaker 3: We saw this at a Buffalo Bill's game a couple
- 1:51:46Speaker 3: of years ago. And you know, I guess just sporting
- 1:51:53Speaker 3: events really, and I'm not that old, but it used
- 1:51:59Speaker 3: to literally be about the most eventful thing that happened
- 1:52:04Speaker 3: was somebody might run out on the field. That was rare,
- 1:52:13Speaker 3: and you remember those days, that was about all. That
- 1:52:18Speaker 3: was about all you might get. That was the highlight
- 1:52:20Speaker 3: between that or a squirrel or something landed wouldn't leave.
- 1:52:25Speaker 3: It was those kind of you know objects protests. You know,
- 1:52:31Speaker 3: if it was a protest, it was outside the venue
- 1:52:35Speaker 3: something like that. People didn't just go to like, whoever
- 1:52:40Speaker 3: did this, I hope they find them like I said,
- 1:52:43Speaker 3: sports Shop would love when y'all run a ballot by
- 1:52:46Speaker 3: I'm gonna check. These things need to be federal crimes.
- 1:52:50Speaker 3: They need to come with minimums. People need to know
- 1:52:53Speaker 3: we need to get a little more of that in
- 1:52:55Speaker 3: our society because if you don't think those kind of
- 1:52:59Speaker 3: things developed the psyche. When you start somebody start telling
- 1:53:05Speaker 3: you something happened at this game, you start acting up,
- 1:53:08Speaker 3: you get in a fight, you know it's a mandatory five.
- 1:53:14Speaker 6: Hey man, you know the last dude did that when
- 1:53:15Speaker 6: Jeff fire you mandatory And then you start trying to
- 1:53:19Speaker 6: think what mandatory means.
- 1:53:21Speaker 3: You like, hold on mandatory and you don't want to
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: google it in front of nobody because you know you
- 1:53:26Speaker 3: think you're at a certain level of intelligence. Then you
- 1:53:28Speaker 3: hold on that means I got to go and stay. Yeah,
- 1:53:32Speaker 3: I ain't finna get you cool, bro, I'm good. You
- 1:53:35Speaker 3: good because if you run out here and glue yourself
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: to this court five years and see I was, I
- 1:53:43Speaker 3: had a bucket of gloop and put it on my
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: T shirt for that. Theatory people, Yeah, it's a couple
- 1:53:49Speaker 3: of people. Ain't that dedicated?
- 1:53:52Speaker 5: No?
- 1:53:53Speaker 3: No, are you dedicated to save the chickens that much.
- 1:53:57Speaker 9: Now, everybody's not dedicated God minimum, everybody's not dedicated for
- 1:54:01Speaker 9: to get those?
- 1:54:03Speaker 3: Are you up for that? Do the chickens matter that?
- 1:54:06Speaker 3: To avoid the three piece with a side and a drink,
- 1:54:10Speaker 3: you find to do five? No, no, it's throwing at
- 1:54:17Speaker 3: this game the Dream versus Valkyrie here in Atlanta. Mandatory five. Now,
- 1:54:23Speaker 3: now let me ask you something. Are you throwing this
- 1:54:25Speaker 3: object with a mandatory five? Oh no, no, let me
- 1:54:30Speaker 3: ask you no, no, not for I'm not even bringing
- 1:54:34Speaker 3: me someone else could grab and throw in my fingerprints
- 1:54:38Speaker 3: on it. And now I'm locked up at first of all,
- 1:54:42Speaker 3: so that what I'm saying is true, you start laying
- 1:54:44Speaker 3: down a little more long. Some of these people just
- 1:54:47Speaker 3: feel like it's gonna be hundred dollars fun. I'm gonna
- 1:54:50Speaker 3: get a couple of days down here. Expected No, fine, right,
- 1:54:55Speaker 3: they just don't. They're gonna laugh and they're gonna kick
- 1:54:58Speaker 3: me out. Oh you think he threw that. I'm opposed
- 1:55:01Speaker 3: post the video online and that's the end of it.
- 1:55:05Speaker 3: Can I ask was me? Does anyone anyone want to go?
- 1:55:10Speaker 6: And I thought you might be the first person to
- 1:55:12Speaker 6: reach for this bad producer and blame it on l
- 1:55:15Speaker 6: duncan She.
- 1:55:16Speaker 3: Said, what no d in the w n B A
- 1:55:19Speaker 3: And here you go, baby, that goes some deeds. Yeah.
- 1:55:25Speaker 6: Yeah, we're gonna have to adjust and get used to it.
- 1:55:27Speaker 6: Then we all gonna get used to different stuff. L Yeah,
- 1:55:31Speaker 6: that was that was a little crazy.
- 1:55:33Speaker 3: It might be.
- 1:55:34Speaker 6: I mean, we blame everything on everything else. Why not
- 1:55:38Speaker 6: blame that on her? Why not lay that at her feet?
- 1:55:41Speaker 1: Hey?
- 1:55:41Speaker 6: Again, they try to insert themselves. Everybody wants to insert
- 1:55:45Speaker 6: themselves into a moment somehow. Yes, trying to get to
- 1:55:50Speaker 6: be part of that storyline, right, They want to be
- 1:55:52Speaker 6: part of something. And if there were stiffer penalties, if
- 1:55:57Speaker 6: there were mandatory minimums for in cars serration, people would
- 1:56:01Speaker 6: stop altogether and see this is what's gonna happen. They'll
- 1:56:04Speaker 6: get comfortable enough throwing stuff on the court that they'll
- 1:56:07Speaker 6: just start hitting the players with it.
- 1:56:10Speaker 3: I wasn't even trying to get it over the players anymore.
- 1:56:13Speaker 3: I'm just throwing it directly at them. And I just
- 1:56:15Speaker 3: think these kind of this was all played. This is
- 1:56:18Speaker 3: not a this is not a cup, This is not
- 1:56:22Speaker 3: a thing of popcorn. This is an outside premeditated thought.
- 1:56:30Speaker 3: All of this is premeditated. This ain't a reaction that
- 1:56:34Speaker 3: you thought. The referee called a bad call and and
- 1:56:38Speaker 3: I jumped up screaming, and all of a sudden my
- 1:56:41Speaker 3: beer spilled on the front. Came to the game, I
- 1:56:45Speaker 3: went to the love chat, I went to the and say, hey,
- 1:56:48Speaker 3: give me that one, now, the big green one. Yeah,
- 1:56:52Speaker 3: hand me that. The next night.
- 1:56:59Speaker 9: Britney grind gets checked it from pushing the referee who
- 1:57:04Speaker 9: goes only in Atlanta.
- 1:57:08Speaker 3: At Atlanta is something else? Vic Kenny says, wants y'all
- 1:57:12Speaker 3: to know that they are testing for edibles. Correct. Yes,
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: the government has said that they have come up with
- 1:57:18Speaker 3: the first.
- 1:57:21Speaker 6: Actually workable system for detecting on the breath of an
- 1:57:30Speaker 6: edible user that the person is under the influence of edibles.
- 1:57:33Speaker 6: They've had the breathalyzer for alcohol, they've got the test
- 1:57:37Speaker 6: strips for cocaine and THC and now a lot of
- 1:57:41Speaker 6: people to skirt those tests when they're driving or on
- 1:57:45Speaker 6: the job. They'll take an edible with the understanding that
- 1:57:49Speaker 6: it won't show up on a test. And now they're
- 1:57:51Speaker 6: saying they developed a test. It's got some more kinks
- 1:57:54Speaker 6: to work out, but where basically it's like a breathalyzer
- 1:57:58Speaker 6: or edibles and comanche.
- 1:58:01Speaker 3: Greg. You say the guy uh that lost his job
- 1:58:07Speaker 3: the CEO tech at the cold Play concert. He's suing
- 1:58:13Speaker 3: cold Play. Yes, but I'm just here for forming. I
- 1:58:17Speaker 3: don't run the cameras. But you called me out and
- 1:58:21Speaker 3: you made and you you you may let this happen. Yeah,
- 1:58:24Speaker 3: you made.
- 1:58:25Speaker 9: You You should have never called me out to the
- 1:58:27Speaker 9: point that you said, uh oh, we paid to see
- 1:58:31Speaker 9: you while y'all got the cameras on me.
- 1:58:34Speaker 3: We paid to see you, yeah play, But I was
- 1:58:37Speaker 3: just performing. No, you need to see the stadium. You
- 1:58:40Speaker 3: made the camera part of your show. I'm saying the
- 1:58:44Speaker 3: stadiums included in the lawsuit. Everything nobody in there but everybody.
- 1:58:50Speaker 3: You're the name though, Chris, and they'll win. He'll win, Chris.
- 1:58:53Speaker 3: I hope Chris. I hope he wins, and I hope
- 1:58:57Speaker 3: I hope he win too.
- 1:58:57Speaker 6: Now I hope cole Play has to turn over all
- 1:58:59Speaker 6: the pro seeds from this entire tour, and I hope
- 1:59:02Speaker 6: they eliminate cameras from public spaces that are on people
- 1:59:07Speaker 6: without a written consent.
- 1:59:08Speaker 3: It's just kiss cam. And we all laughed, and we
- 1:59:13Speaker 3: laughed when I lost my job and my wife. I
- 1:59:16Speaker 3: didn't know that was your executive. You know. They removed
- 1:59:18Speaker 3: a kiss cam from me but from spot. But when
- 1:59:22Speaker 3: me and you were just talking and I said, man,
- 1:59:25Speaker 3: it'd be cool to see you in the Falcons Jersey.
- 1:59:27Speaker 3: Now I gotta pay eight hundred million dollars. Co Play
- 1:59:30Speaker 3: didn't get that memo about the NBA and we're moving
- 1:59:32Speaker 3: the kids cam. Co Play didn't do anything. They just
- 1:59:35Speaker 3: showed a couple hugging up. Yeah, but he he insinuated.
- 1:59:38Speaker 3: He made a statement like, ah, look at them and
- 1:59:44Speaker 3: see two hours ago when we started to show as
- 1:59:47Speaker 3: she was you this guy.
- 1:59:48Speaker 9: No, you shouldn't have called me out, Chris Mark, you
- 1:59:50Speaker 9: should have never He should have never called me out.
- 1:59:51Speaker 3: I didn't know who I was calling. I don't know
- 1:59:53Speaker 3: your name, but he should have never drawn that much
- 1:59:55Speaker 3: attention to me.
- 1:59:57Speaker 6: But see, you just you gonna, You're gonna, You're gonna
- 2:00:00Speaker 6: slip through the loophole.
- 2:00:02Speaker 3: That's all it is is. Had he not been doing wrong,
- 2:00:05Speaker 3: he wouldn't have got caught. That's the ultimate thing.
- 2:00:09Speaker 6: But since you caught me doing something I wasn't supposed
- 2:00:12Speaker 6: to do, and I had to pay a penalty for that.
- 2:00:14Speaker 6: I'm going to pass that cost on to you because
- 2:00:18Speaker 6: you were the one that exposed my wrongdoing. And that's
- 2:00:21Speaker 6: the person that well, that that lady, that lady that
- 2:00:25Speaker 6: filmed at the Braves game. She got a talk show
- 2:00:28Speaker 6: appearance and maybe a book and she exposed she was
- 2:00:33Speaker 6: feeling somebody from behind and all that. Yeah, a couple
- 2:00:37Speaker 6: of years ago.
